            This is the first installment in my series Lead Me Home. Lambert meets Aiden as a boy before he’s taken to Kaer Morhen, and then again when he’s much older. 

Tu Me Manques - Eskel/Jaskier (Rated: T) (8000 words)

             In which, Eskel meets a bard who calms him. Body, mind, and soul. This was written for the Eskel Big Bang and has some positively gorgeous art by @cvbeebop.

Mine Would Be You - Geralt/Eskel (Rated: M) (16,000 words)

            A break-up then make-up fic set in a modern verse. After being frozen out of Eskel’s life, Geralt moves away but finds he can’t stay gone for long. He returns home and finds there’s a lot of things he can’t do.

The Question of Trust - Jaskier/Lambert (Rated: T) (3,000 words)

            In which, Jaskier learns what trust looks like from his witcher. This was written for the Rarepair Bingo, the prompt was helping with armor.

This Once and Always - Geralt/Eskel (Rated: M) (9,000 words)

            In which, Eskel meets Geralt, and they have almost certainly met before. A fluffy (mostly) modern soulmate AU.

I.OZZY; As you suggested, OLES and his transcendently un-catholic guilt is an easy answer for some tasty drama and deep revelations. We’ve talked about doing something regarding that guilt and his werewolf status and that just ties in ridiculously well with Ozzy’s shtick of forgiving sins and clearing curses (cause yeah I just remembered he can do that). BIG ol potential here ALTERNATIVE ANSWER: I don’t know a lot about RAYMOND PRICE but he intrigues me, and I think he might need God. Whether we go for a yeehaw vibe or modern noir, I’m deeply interested in the complex web of trickery and conspiracy that can arise between two manipulative, terrible men. TBH the “im a god fearing man but these hands are the devils” gifset got to me what can I say

II. ANNALISE; It’s a bit difficult to find a good fit for Anna as we don’t have a lot of verses that overlap, so we’d probably have to do something modern, potentially with VILLEN. They are both absolute girlbosses (gender neutral) and luxurious decadence really is the name of the game. Though now that I think about it, I could probably squeeze Annalise into a Witcher verse without too much trouble.

III. ALIZEBETH; Now this is the fun one. Since Liz is going to have a Witcher verse it opens up a lot of possibilities. SASKIA feels like an obvious fit. except i havnt played the games yet and spoilers ahhh Most likely they might run into each other in Skellige or the surrounding area, potentially commit murder together. ALTERNATIVE ANSWER: Alizebeth and LETHO seem like they could have a lot of fun being rude and kind of trashy together. Also more murder because let’s face it she doesn’t have any other pastimes. Can you tell my brain cells gave up at this exact point of replying to this prompt

Modern Letho and Saskia know each other and are good friends. Letho takes photos of Saskia parkouring around abandoned buildings for his secret urbex slash recipes blog. She’s the only one who knows of it. She’s also learning how to cook from Letho, but it’s not going very well. Letho’s dog loves Saskia and when she’s over to watch a movie or something, Schnitzel will always sit in her lap. Saskia is the one who usually drags Letho out of depressive episodes; she takes him on morning jogs and evenings out with the bros, she gives him a reason to cook regularly because he does it for her and consequently he eats well too, they walk the dog together, etc. They’ve got that “I’m down if you’re down but we both know it’s never going to happen” type of friendship going on, ya know?

I like the idea of Letho’s various verses (witcher, da, rdr, generic modern, lcdp, me, etc etc) all happening within the same lifetime, just in different places and at different times. And I’m self-indulgent enough to actually do it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can't stop thinking about that modern verse because it really is the best possible situation for Letho. He's still sort of emotionally stunted, struggles with self-loathing issues, and has depression and PTSD, but this is the verse in which he can actually get help with all that. He goes to therapy, has a big fluffy service dog, and he gets the chance to develop his personality beyond coping mechanism and invest time and energy in his hobbies. He cooks, he works out, he goes fishing every weekend, occasionally he spends a couple of days in this little cabin outside the city that he built himself. He gets in touch with his more artistic side via photography and blogging, even though he's a little clumsy with words. He even enjoys reading, cuddling up with his dog at night and reading a couple of pages out loud for the both of them, although more often than not he falls asleep midsentence. But that's okay because he can try again the next night and he has all the time in the world and there's no bounty on his head and he actually *wants* to live. And maybe he's a camp counselor at summer and he gets to spend time with kids and teens who absolutely love big old Letho and his stories and his food and his dog. And when he's not doing that, maybe he accidentally joins an ufo club because he thinks it's a cooking thing and he truly has no idea what these people are talking about but they're so friendly and passionate and god knows Letho needs friends. The next thing he knows there are people who remember his birthday now and give him an excuse to cook extravagant meals and maybe he's wearing a tshirt with "bigfoot is real and he ate my ass" on the front that they brought as a gift for him. So he sits down in his armchair, opens a non alcoholic beer, with his friends around him and his dog cuddled up on his feet and he think.

He thinks that life isn't too bad.

Very important modern information: Letho is into eurodance. Catch him listening to Vengaboys, Haddaway, La Bouche, Ace of Base, Scooter, Corona, etc etc. Letho unironically listening to Darude - Sandstorm while going on his morning jog? You bet. Chuckling to himself a little as he likes yet another Youtube comment about Basshunter being called Asshunter instead? Of course. Quietly bobbing his head to Maria (I like it loud) while cooking or cleaning? YEAH.

(I was just writing something about this when I saw the ask, so I’m just gonna post it here lol)

Modern Letho loves complex, colorful meals with a depth of flavors and an array of different textures. He loves spiciness and intensity and surprising seasoning, food that makes eating an adventure by itself. But at the same time, Letho grew up poor, without much of a choice regarding what to eat or cook, so he understands comfort food. He gets cheap fast food, poor man’s versions of more expensive recipes, and food as a way to bring people who don’t have much else closer. So he also loves meals that are simple to prepare, with few ingredients, not much of texture range, and those that are just Comfy to eat.

Where I’m going with this is that modern Letho is that beefy, intimidating guy who advertises his BBQ party on gay dating apps and when strangers show up either as a joke or because they thought it was going to be an orgy, he’s standing there in his backyard with 20 plates of food and Len’s Steal My Sunshine playing in the background like “you guys didn’t even bring your own drinks? :///”
