notes: surprise!! I'm sorry I haven't posted in months-- my life kind of went up in flames over the summer and I haven't had the time to write that I was hoping to. I have a few WIPs in my drafts, and I am still working on all of your requests! Please let me know what you think of this!
The hot afternoon sun beat down on you, and you felt the drops of sweat sliding down the side of your head and tickling the hairs on the back of your neck. Your heartbeat pounded in your ears as you ran up and down the field, weaving between cones, carrying the ball at your feet, running through a series of consecutive drills that were designed to refine your skills and test your endurance.
You did your best to recall the instructions that your coach had carefully laid out before the team began the drill, but with the heat and the fatigue that was seeping all the way into your bones, it seemed impossible to remember. You wound up relying on the teammate in front of you to recall what you needed to do next.
You let out a heavy sigh of relief when you heard the sound of the whistle—two short chirps, signaling for you to halt your movements. You draped your arms over your head, drawing in deep, heaving breaths as you attempted to get your heart rate under control.
You joined the rest of your teammates as they gathered around the coach, preparing for his parting words before everyone was dismissed.
“Good session today, ladies,” he clapped his hands in front of him, looking around the circle. “I’m seeing a lot of good things. A lot of improvement in our touches and finishing. You all are looking really good.”
A couple of the girls clapped at his words, the rest too exhausted to do anything but listen.
“We have the day off tomorrow, so use it well. Rest, recover, and come back Monday ready to go. We’ve got some heavy prep next week before the second leg on Friday,” he continued, and a couple others whooped, getting excited for the upcoming big game.
“They’re gonna be a really tough opponent, I’ll be honest. We know that their back line is really strong, tough to break through.” Your coach’s eyes fell on you, and you knew what was coming next before he even began to speak, your stomach sinking slightly. “But that’s what we have Miss Y/N, for, right?”
Several of the girls cheered for you. The girls near you slapped you on the back, trying to get you hyped up. And the weight that had settled in the pit of your stomach grew heavier.
The Manchester United women were on an impressive UEFA Women’s Champions League run, overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds to make it to the semifinal. And according to the media (and now your own teammates and coaches), it was all thanks to you.
In the group stage, a decisive game in which your team had gone down 2-0 in the first half had seemed hopeless until you had scored two goals in the second, assisting on the third to put your team through to the knockout games. Another three goal contributions in the quarter-final matches had put you in the spotlight of all of the team’s media coverage, thrusting a wave of attention upon you that you had never asked for.
You had gone down 1-0 in the first leg of the semi-final, and now you were playing from behind. And it seemed that everyone expected you to be the one to pull them out of it.
So now, you were left feeling the pressure as the second leg was fast approaching.
“Alright, ladies. Have a good rest of the day and a great day off tomorrow.” He clapped his hands, dismissing you all. The circle of girls dispersed, chatting among themselves.
“Am I still leaving the cones out for you?” the coach raising his eyebrows at you. You only nodded in return. “Okay, don’t work yourself to death.”
You laughed humorlessly as you fiddled with the ball at your feet, not meeting his eyes.
“Hey,” he said, resting a hand on your shoulder to try to draw your attention to him. “Get some rest tomorrow, okay? We all see how hard you’re working. Give yourself a break.”
Another nod is all that you can muster, and you don’t miss the short sigh that he lets out as he drops his hand from your shoulder and walks to join the rest of the group moving indoors.
You repositioned a few of the cones to set up your own drill and got right into it.
Across the field, on another training pitch near yours, Mason watched as you carried the ball with you up and down the field, weaving between cones, practicing a few skills that he had seen you implement in games, and taking a shot on the goal at each pass.
He was supposed to be doing a bit of extra work with a few of the boys. The men’s team had finished their training session about an hour before, but a few of them still felt like they wanted to get a bit more done before calling it a day. So here they were, running a few small three-a-side games to utilize the last of their energy that day.
But he couldn’t help but notice how you never stopped.
During the team training, you were always one of the hardest-working ones out there. When he had returned to the pitch from lunch, you were taking shots on the goal with the rest of your team nowhere in sight. He wasn’t even sure he had seen you eating lunch inside when he thought about it.
And now here you were, sprinting across the length of the field, over and over, after the rest of your team had hit the showers.
He felt a twinge of worry for you but brushed it off as one of his teammates called his name to pull his attention back to the game they were playing.
Your head was spinning as you pushed yourself to keep moving. Your entire body was drenched in sweat. Every muscle ached from overexertion as you gritted your teeth, forcing them to keep moving. The sun was dizzyingly bright as the evening set in. You could feel the heat practically radiating off of your skin. Your lungs were burning with your heaving breaths and your mouth quickly grew dry.
“That’s what we have Miss Y/N for, right?” Your coach’s words echoed through your head as you carried the ball down the field.
“Y/L/N carries the Man U Women through to the semifinal!” You recalled the title of the article as you weaved between the cones.
“I really believe Y/N Y/L/N could be the one to lead Manchester United to their first Women’s Champion’s League trophy!” You heard the words of the pundit clear as day as you planted your foot, striking the ball cleanly. It soared through the air, curving toward the goal, and struck the crossbar. The ball flew away from the goal, bouncing pathetically on the ground in the penalty area.
You took a pause, the words and expectations crashing around your mind leaving an unsettling feeling in your chest. As you stood there, you couldn’t seem to get your panting breaths to grow steadier.
Your shirt suddenly felt too tight on your neck. You grasped the fabric, pulling it away from your body in an attempt to allow yourself to breathe easier, but nothing seemed to be helping.
Your head was spinning. You felt your stomach sink, a feeling like when you plummeted down the tall hill of a rollercoaster, a sick feeling settling in your abdomen. Your skin began to crawl, and you just couldn’t stop hyperventilating.
You began to panic. Eyes searching frantically for relief. You weren’t sure what you were looking for—something, anything.
You suddenly felt like you were too out in the open, needing to seclude yourself away from the sight of prying eyes. You set into a sprint, off of the field and around the corner of the nearest part of the building to you, trying to find some shade from the hot sun and hide yourself from anyone who might see your pathetic state.
But it was too late. Mason had seen the whole thing.
They had just paused their game for a short water break. He had seen you take the shot, instead hitting the crossbar. It only took him a few seconds once you paused to realize that something wasn’t right.
He watched the way your chest rose and fell rapidly in quick, short breaths. When you began attempting to pull your shirt away from your body, he instantly knew what was taking place. He’d recognize that feeling anywhere.
You were having a panic attack, whether you realized it or not.
As soon as he saw you take off for the side of the building, he was running after you without so much as a word of explanation to his teammates.
Once in the shade of the wall you hid behind, you began pacing, unable to keep still. Every inch of your body felt jittery, and you felt unsteady on your legs. You couldn’t manage more than rapid, shallow breaths. Your throat felt tight, your breaths sounding more like wheezes, and it was starting to make your head spin. Your hands flew to your head, scratching at your scalp in an attempt to somehow rid yourself of the feeling.
You were startled by Mason swiftly rounding the corner, concern written all over his face as he stopped in front of you.
“Hey, hey, hey, you’re okay,” he spoke calmly and evenly. He quickly reached up, taking your wrists in his hands so he could gently but firmly pull your hands out of your hair to keep you from hurting yourself.
“I can’t, Mason. I can’t,” you panted, shaking your head ‘no’ frantically and still trying to weakly pull your hand from his grip.
“You’re okay, Y/N. Try to slow down your breathing,” Mason’s calm voice directly contrasted your frantic behavior, speaking in short sentences so as to not overwhelm you more. “You’re safe. I’ve got you.”
A short sob fell from your lips, and you felt the tears spilling over and down your cheeks.
“We’re gonna lose,” you sobbed, and his eyebrows furrowed slightly in confusion. “The semifinal, we’re gonna lose it, and it’s gonna be all my fault.”
In that moment, everything clicked into place for Mason-- the UWCL run, your success in the games leading up to the semi-final leg, the pressure from the fans and the team, the countless extra hours you had been putting in.
A loud noise in the distance, coming from the direction of the parking lot, startled you, snatching your attention and you whipped your head to the side, eyes searching frantically for the source. He released your wrists from his hand, testing the waters as he turned your head back to look at him with a hand on your cheek.
He cradled your face with a hand on either side, keeping your focus on him. His thumbs wiped the tears away that had slipped down your cheeks.
“Hey, look at me. You’re gonna be okay. I’ve got you,” he repeated the affirmations he had already been telling you.
As he stroked his thumbs softly over the skin of your cheek, he felt that your breathing was already growing a bit slower. You had reached up, holding onto his wrists with both of your hands to steady yourself, feeling too unsteady on your feet. His hands were gentle and soft on your skin.
Mason watched your expression, taking long deep breaths for you to emulate. Your eyes were still wide, darting frantically around his face, but you were trying your best to follow his breathing. He continued whispering short reassurances.
“You’re safe.”
“It’s gonna be okay.”
“I’ve got you.”
You were beginning to calm down, but your eyes darted to something behind Mason, pulled away from the calm atmosphere he had tried to create for you.
“Hey, hey, stay with me,” he spoke gently, pressing his forehead to yours so you would only focus on him. You were shocked at how little the intrusion on your personal space bothered you. In fact, to your surprise, the closeness seemed to settle you a little more.
You continued focusing on your breathing, gripping tightly to his wrists as if you thought he’d disappear if you let go. Your eyes were clamped closed, listening to Mason’s soft and slow breathing. You felt your pounding heart being to slow its pace.
The panic you had been feeling subsided, leaving behind a wave of extreme fatigue. You felt completely and utterly drained.
Mason must have noticed the way that your body slumped over, and he guided you to sit down on the grass, leaning back against the brick wall of the building. He sat down next to you, leaving space so he didn’t make you more nervous. But in the haze you felt in your mind, you felt a need to still be close to him, leaning over so you could place your head on his shoulder. A short pang of guilt washed over you as you noticed the crescent-shaped indents you had left on his wrists, your nails digging into the skin as you had held onto him.
The two of you sat in silence for a few minutes, your eyes slipping closed as you continued focusing on breathing slowly. A gentle breeze blew through, cooling your clammy skin and brushing through the blades of grass.
“I used to get them sometimes, too, you know?” Mason broke the silence, speaking softly.
You responded with a quiet, “hmm?” unsure of what he meant.
“Panic attacks,” he explained. “At the end of last season, before I left Chelsea. There was a lot of pressure. Any time I played, everyone had something to say about it. Even when I didn’t play, some would find a reason to be upset. It all just got to be too much.”
A deep sadness filled you while you listened to his words. “How did you get through it?”
“Ben found me having one in my car after training one day.” He was quiet for a moment. “I tried to power through it—like you. Skipping lunch and staying late to train a bit extra on the field or put in an extra session in the gym. But once Ben realized what was going on, he made sure that I was taking care of myself properly and wasn’t dealing with it on my own anymore.”
You sat up so you could look at Mason’s face, and you saw a hint of sadness there. “So I’ll tell you what he told me. There are 10 other people with you on that field at all times. If you fall down, there are 10 pairs of hands ready to help you back to your feet. If you succeed, there are 10 others to celebrate with you. But it’s not all on you.”
Your eyes were misty, welling up with tears at his words. He slipped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into a secure hug as the tears began to stream down your cheeks.
“No matter the outcome of the game next week, you’re an incredible player, Y/N.” He placed a soft kiss to the top of your head. “You’ve already done so much so early in your career. The media and the fans will say what they want—don’t let them get to you. And your coaches may get carried away with their expectations for you, but it’s just because they’re so excited to see you succeed. Just be the player you know how to be, and your achievements will speak for themselves.”
“Thank you, Mason,” you whispered after pondering his words for a moment. No words could express the gratitude you felt for the relief he had brought you just by letting you know that he was there and he understood. But as he squeezed your shoulders lightly in response, you hoped he knew just how thankful you were.
Eventually, Mason helped you to your feet, guiding you back toward the fields. You were still feeling a bit weak and unsteady, so he made sure you remained upright with a gentle hold on your arm as you walked. Deciding it was time for you to call it a day, he insisted on collecting the cones that you had been training with, not allowing you to help him by picking up even one of them.
It took some convincing but you told him you would be fine to drive yourself home—his only condition was that you texted to let him know you made it there safely.
“Alright, then. Rest on your day off tomorrow. Give yourself a break, okay?” he spoke as he put the last of the cones away. “I’ll check in with you on Monday, if that’s okay.” He didn’t want to overstep any boundaries. The two of you had been friendly before today, but you wouldn’t have considered yourselves close friends. He just wanted to be sure that you knew you had people in your corner.
“Yeah, I’d like that a lot,” you nodded, smiling at him. With a final hug, he sent you on your way as he turned to rejoin his (undoubtedly confused) teammates where he had left them.
“Remember: rest!” he shouted back at you as you parted ways, and you couldn’t stop the blushing smile that worked its way onto your face.

hey i have a request you write a jey x reader but in the beginning roman is the one who brings (yn) into the bloodline to make her his but instead she catches feelings for jey and blows roman off and whenever jey betrayed roman (yn) goes with him leaving roman even more angrier at the idea jey took his girl... anyways (yn) and jey end up having expressing themselves the night she runs after him when he left the arena for a final time and she encourages him to come back.
Betraying the Betrayer! Jey Uso
Jey Uso x y/n
Warnings: Violence, Swearing!!
Word Count: 1578
A/N: Hi everyone!! This is the longest request I have ever written that contained over 1,500 words. This was sent in by anoymous so I hope y'all enjoy.
Y/n is your name
Being in the Bloodline is anyone’s dream except for y/n who goes by y/r/n in the ring. Roman had originally brought y/n in the Bloodline to be his girl but she fell head over heels for Jey Uso and Roman isn’t having it. Let’s see what happens.
The Bloodline is the most dominant faction on SmackDown but the guy who runs it is none other than the Head of the Table Roman Reigns. While he might be the most powerful male wrestler on SmackDown there’s someone who is more powerful than he is her name is y/n. She’s the current reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion and the current reigning SmackDown and Raw Women’s Tag Team Champion with Piper Niven. She even has her own faction called RKC which stands for Raging Knockout Champions. She runs it through Raw and SmackDown. On Raw, she has the Judgement Day in her faction, along with the current Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, and the World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins along with his with wife “The Man” Becky Lynch.
Y/n sits in her locker room on her phone when she hears a knock on the door. “Come in,” she said looking up from her phone. Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa walk in.
Y/n keeps a straight face. “What do you want Roman?” Paul started speaking “Well the Tribal Chie-” Y/n stops him and says “I wasn’t asking you, Wiseman. I was asking Roman. If Roman can’t answer then you guys should leave, I have a match soon so if you want to talk make it quick.” Roman started talking “I talked to Adam about you joining the Bloodline. The Bloodline is full of champions.” Y/n looked at the group, her eyes on Jey’s for a moment until she said “Roman not to be rude but you can’t say the Bloodline is full of champions if you’re the only champion. Also not to sound like a bitch or anything but what makes you think I want to join you. Adam hasn’t talked to me about it yet. As for your answer if I’m joining I’m gonna say that I’ll think about it now get out of here I have my match in 5 minutes.”
The Bloodline left and y/n went to Gorilla to face Natalya in her hometown of Quebec for her championship. Natalya’s music hit first and she did her thing. Y/n’s music hit next and she did her entrance and got in the ring.
Samantha Irvin, y/n’s bestie, and the ring announcer started talking “Ladies & gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. This match is for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Introducing first the challenger weighing in at 135lbs, from Calgary, Alberto, Canada, Natalya. Her opponent and your SmackDown Women’s Champion weighing in at 171lbs from Quebec, Canada y/r/n.” Y/n did her thing and took off her belt and the match was underway.
A little while later while the match was still happening Tamina came out, got in the ring, and started hitting y/n causing Natalya to get disqualified. Samantha spoke “Here’s your winner as a result of a disqualification and still your SmackDown Women’s Champion. Y/R/N!!!” Y/n grabbed a microphone and said “Bonjour à tous. Je suis tellement heureuse d'avoir gagné ce soir et je suis heureuse d'être toujours votre championne féminine de SmackDown. Je n'ai pas gagné juste pour moi. J'ai gagné pour nous tous. Je vous aime tous. Bonne nuit Québec. (Hello everyone. I'm so happy that I won tonight and I'm happy that I'm still your SmackDown Women's Champion. I didn't win just for me. I won for all of us. I love you all. Goodnight Quebec.)”
Once the match was over y/n went back to Gorilla only to be met with Adam and the Bloodline. Adam said “Y/n congrats on your win. You’re the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion just reaching 440 days. Anyway, I want you to be in the Bloodline storyline and I want you and Roman to have a romantic relationship.”
Y/n, spit out the water that she was drinking and said “What! You want me to date him. Are you sure that’s a good idea because my personality and his personality probably won’t get along?” Adam said “Yes. You’ll be fine. Also, I need you two to talk about some strategies for your upcoming match together.” Y/n didn’t even bother arguing with Adam about it so she bit her tongue and nodded.
A few months pass by and y/n is enjoying herself with Jey cause he’s so funny. Y/n caught feelings for Jey when the Bloodline entered her locker room. Y/n and Jey have been spending a lot of time together causing her to blow off Roman and Roman doesn’t like it.
It’s SmackDown and Jey has to make his decision on whether or not he’s in the Bloodline or out of the Bloodline. Y/n sat backstage shaking her leg when Jey came over and sat next to her. “Are you alright?” Jey asked with concern growing in his voice. Y/n looked at him and gave a small smile then sighed “I’m worried about you. A lot of things can happen tonight and I just want to make sure you’re safe.”
He smiled a little bit and said “Aww is the SmackDown Women’s Champion worried about me? That’s cute.” Y/n lightly punched Jey on his shoulder and responded “Yes I’m deeply worried about you. We know how Roman gets he might find a way to get rid of you and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I watched you get hurt.”
He hugged y/n and said “Don’t worry. You’re not getting rid of “Main Event” Jey Uso that easily.” She laughed and said “Well I have to get going Roman is waiting for me. This stays between me and you but I want to join you and Jimmy. I can’t stand Roman.” Jey said “I won’t tell a soul. Now go out there and kick his ass.”
Y/n walked out with Roman and then Jey came out. While the dispute was happening Jimmy came out and Jey looked at Jimmy and said “You out and I’m out too.” Jey kicked Roman and y/n walked over to the rope and held it open for the twins until Roman started screaming.
Y/n took her belts off and she hit Roman with the Dirty F5. Once Roman was down she left with the twins and she hugged Jey.
A few more months later Jey was going against Roman for his championship and when Roman saw y/n with Jey he was furious. Roman got out of the ring and attacked y/n with a chair until Jey speared him through the barricade. Then the unthinkable happened when Jey went for the pin a mysterious man in a hoodie pulled him out.
The mysterious man happened to be his twin brother Jimmy who turned on Jey. Jey couldn’t believe it. Jimmy threw him back in after kicking him in the face and Jey lost the match.
Y/n walked backstage with Jey after he lost and she grabbed his hand and said “I need to talk to you but it can wait until next week. Are you ok?” Jey looked at her with worry and pain in his eyes and says “I’m fine. Are you ok? Roman beat you with the chair.” She smiled and said “I’m fine. Let's get out of here.” Jey and y/n walked out.
SmackDown is here and y/n needs to talk to Jey. Y/n sees Jey walking past her room and says “Jey I need to talk to you like right now but let's wait until tonight.” Jey being concerned about her, he just nods. Jimmy came out to explain why he did what he did but he waited for Jey to come out.
Jey’s music hits and he walks out with y/n. Once everyone had to say what they had to Jey was silent and Roman started with his bullshit.
Jey kicked Roman in his face and then he told Jimmy to come here and he kicked Jimmy in his face.  Jey looked at the camera and said “I’m out of the Bloodline, I’m out of SmackDown, I’m out of WWE.” Y/n hearing those words her heart shattered. Jey started leaving so she followed “Jey wait. Let’s talk about this.” Once Jey was backstage at the gorilla she said “JOSHUA SAMUEL FATU stop.” He turned around and she said “I have feelings for you that’s what I wanted to talk to you about but if you leave I can’t do that. Don’t g-” Before y/n could finish her sentence Jey kissed her and said, “I feel the same way.” She said “Then don’t leave. Stay for me. You can join my faction RKC I need a partner in crime cause the guys don’t like to listen. Fuck Jimmy, Fuck Roman, Fuck Solo. Stay here for me please.” Jey thought about it and said “Fine. I’ll stay for you since we’re dating now.”
Jey stayed and continued to wrestle alongside his girlfriend and even get a few championships. Look what love does. It’s a powerful thing.
-I hope you guys enjoyed this! I had fun writing it. I love you guys. <33333

WIP Wednesday
Thank you for everyone who tagged me- I would list you all but it would take me half an hour to to that so I'm just going to tag everyone at the end!
Here's the beginning of my MMA Rivals AU because @ladydorian05 had been hyping it up!
The crowd thunders around him, he can feel their vibrations through the mat. Buck usually lives for this feeling but right now it's overwhelming. Bright lights and sweat mixed with blood dripping into his eyes making it hard to see much beyond the black chain-link fence but he notices the horror on his team’s, his family’s faces before the pain hits.  Excruciating pain, his leg, oh god his leg.  And then Buck is falling and falling, through the mat, through the ground, through time itself.   Buck wakes with the terror of falling and pain radiating down his leg. He rips back the covers, revealing his left leg, not broken, not in a cast, but not like it was before. The scars mark the pale flesh, they’re from the multiple surgeries he needed to get back into fighting condition as quickly as possible. It’s not just the visible scars that remain, the bone-deep ache that comes when the weather turns cold that won’t let him forget that night. The night his career almost ended, before it had even really begun and just when he’d found what he loved doing.  Buck looked at his phone, the time read 5.37 a.m., he had a few hours before he had to get up.  He flops back down on his bed, the clammy sweat that usually accompanies his nightmares cooling in the early morning temperatures. LA’s weather is mild compared to most places, hell he’d grown up in Hershey where it had snowed every winter, but it was still enough to set off his injury. He normally kept his heating on but he must have forgotten to turn it on when he got home late last night.  Last night, when at the monthly team get-together Bobby and Athena had announced a new fighter joining the club. Buck groaned at the memory, running his hands over his face. Eddie Diaz was joining the 118 Fighters. Eddie Diaz defending Welterweight Champion for the past three years, Buck’s rival since they fought in Buck’s first year of being a UFC fighter almost two years ago.  Diaz had destroyed Buck’s winning streak with a cheap-shot technical knockout in the second round. Buck might have had some heated words with him after the fight which had given the media the fuel to create the Buckley x Diaz Rivalry. Diaz was the reigning champ and Buck was the upstart, the story practically wrote itself.  The media frenzy had been rough for a while after that, Maddie had to delete Twitter off his phone because he had been doom scrolling. It hadn’t helped that Buck's broken leg had prevented a rematch last year, the anticipation this time was reaching new levels. They now called Buck an “underdog” because of his injury which grated on his nerves even more than upstart.  Now they were both training under Bobby, which is not unusual but it was sure going to make Buck’s life harder. A tiny voice, the same from last night when he’d heard the news, resurfaces maybe Bobby was hedging his bets, maybe he didn’t believe Buck could have a successful comeback and that’s why he’d brought Diaz on. Buck tries to ignore the voice, but it’s the same one that’s been sowing doubt from the last six months of recovery and training.

all my genderswaps are in a nebulous au where intergender wrestling is more common so with that in mind:
- although they were part of the tna knockouts they had extreme Not Like Other Girls energy which was a big part of their appeal to their fans. also the fact that they're Gamer Girls
- they were the first knockout tag team to become tna tag champs, sabin was the first knockout to become an x division champion
- shelley only dates women, she and kushida (boy) are very close but platonic friends
- sabin mostly considers herself 'straight with 1 exception', shelley is the only woman she's been with. so it really affected her a lot when shelley suddenly left in 2012 and it took a while for sabin to forgive her when she came back
- if sabin is ever wearing something fashionable or not impact branded it's either borrowed from shelley or shelley bought it for her
mostly they're quite similar to their original selves ~ shelley is the more outgoing, indie wrestling big sister with lots of wrestling kids while sabin is more of a homebody, content to stay in impact working with gail kim as one of their knockouts/x division veterans unless shelley takes her out to places

Might as well get this outta the way. For those who are under a damn rock. I'm Russian Dynamite Masha Slamovich. Queen of the indies, knockouts tag team champion, 1/2 of MK Ultra, current WXW women's champion, and the baddest bitch to ever step inside a wrestling ring.
So... Hey.

What's your dream champions for each promotion you watch?
I do watch other promotions here and there but I'm just gonna stick to Impact, AEW and ROH
Impact World Championship: Maclin. I'd love Josh eventually become champion again when he is healthy but I thought Maclin was the perfect person to dethrone Josh and I feel like he will become champion, just not in the way once believed.
Impact X Division Championship: Mike Bailey. Just can't say enough wonderful things about his first reign. Him against Gresham for the Championship would be god tier.
Impact Digital Media Championship: Leave it on Hendry. He is the perfect person for that championship right now.
Impact World Tag Team Championship: Leave it on Ace and Bey. They are just getting started and they are having such a fun reign already.
Impact Knockouts World Championship: Gisele Shaw. She is so talented and imagine her against Deonna for the Knockouts Championship, that would also be god tier, I really believe she is ready to take that next step.
Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: The Coven just got it and honestly looking forward to seeing more of them. Death Dollz will always own my heart tho.
AEW World Championship: Basically feels impossible but I really want Uno as World Champion. He is amazing and I feel like we've only scratched the surface of what he can do in AEW.
AEW International Championship: Realistically this is the championship I've been hoping Uno can get a reign with as I don't trust TK to let Uno become World Heavyweight Champion but this is my dream and with Uno on top of the company, Kip Sabian would be perfect for the International Championship.
AEW TNT Championship: Keith Lee. There isn't really much to say other than it would be nice to see him with a championship.
FTW Championship: Leave it on Hook, you can't really take it off him, he is the perfect for the championship.
AEW World Tag Team Championship: John Silver and Alex Reynolds. I hope they get a run with championships someday soon, it's not that unrealistic.
AEW World Trios Championship: Dark Order. Would love to see them finally win the Trios Championship and use the Freebirds rule so all of them can defend the championships.
AEW Women's World Championship: The Bunny. Bun Bun has been there from the beginning and really deserves a championship run someday.
AEW TBS Championship: Taya Valkyrie. I feel like this might be the most realistic out of all the ones I've mentioned on the AEW side, go Tay Tay.
ROH World Championship: Stu Grayson. Imagine Uno as AEW World Heavyweight Champion and Stu as ROH World Heavyweight Champion 🥹
ROH World Television Championship: Eddie Kingston. Would love to see him with a championship, he deserves it so much.
ROH Pure Championship: Angelico. He is so underrated, would be awesome to see him with a championship.
ROH World Tag Team Championship: Top Flight. I don't mind any of the teams in the Reach For The Sky ladder match but they are the future and it would be a great start for them.
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Adam Cole and The Kingdom. Adam on ROH would bring eyes to ROH which is really needed and be cool to see him back with The Kingdom.
ROH Women's World Championship: Leave it on Athena, she is amazing and deserves a lengthy run with it.

G1 Climax Day 2 preview
Tumblr media
D Block: Tetsuya Naito vs. Jeff Cobb - Naito is 3-0 against Cobb, which might explain why this match doesn't have any sizzle for me. It's just kind of there, and it feels like it's the main event just because Naito's the biggest star on the card.
Naito is my pick to win the whole tournament; pitting him against SANADA at Wrestle Kingdom for the world title just makes a lot of sense. If I'm right, that means New Japan has to spend the whole tour trying to convince you he's not the obvious favorite. And their favorite way to do that is book a guy into a 0-2 or 0-3 start to put them on the brink of elimination. The fact this match is going on last almost telegraphs that the big story of the show will be Cobb getting a win over Naito.
C Block: Tama Tonga vs. EVIL - I don't expect either of these guys to do better than 4-3 in the block. Actually, Evil could do a lot worse if they book him like his buddy SHO in the Best of the Super Jr. a couple of months ago. Tama's cool and I'd like to see him pushed, but seeing as Tanga Loa is finally back those two should get back in the tag title hunt as soon as the G1 ends. I don't think the outcome of this one is going to make much difference in anything.
D Block: Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi - Sabre is the NJPW World television champion; Tana is one of the NEVER trios champions. I could see either of these guys winning the block, with Naito barely squeaking by as runner-up.
A few years ago it felt like Sabre had Tana's number, but in singles matches Tana leads the series 6-4, and Sabre hasn't beaten him since 2019. I could see Sabre winning to even the score up a little. Although it would make sense for Tana to get a win to set up a TV title match. Note that this year's block matches have a 20-minute time limit, whereas Sabre's whole deal as TV champ is that nobody can beat him in fifteen. So if Tana does win, I expect it to be about 17 minutes in.
C Block: Eddie Kingston vs. Shingo Takagi - Eddie is the new STRONG champion, having won the belt from KENTA on July 5. I think all of Eddie's New Japan matches have been under the Strong brand, but now he's really in New Japan, y'know? Beating a former IWGP world champion in his G1 debut would be huge, even if Shingo isn't protected as much as some other former world champs. I'd go ahead and do it, but New Japan is more conservative than I am about giving out big statement wins like that.
I was going to say I don't think either guy is going to make it to the knockout stage, but as I look over all of C Block, none of those guys seem like strong candidates. So hell, maybe the idea is to keep the tippy-toppy guys out of the way so Eddie can win the block. It wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. I'll certainly be rooting for that to happen, but I bet I'll be disappointed a lot.
D Block: Alex Coughlin vs. Shane Haste - Coughlin is one of the STRONG tag team champions, alongside his partner Gabe Kidd. I'm sure at some point Coughlin and Kidd will have to contend with Haste and his own partner, Mikey Nicholls. But for now they're just two tag team guys in a singles tournament, so I don't expect much from either of them. I'd put Haste over to remind everybody he exists, but they may want all the new Bullet Club guys to shine in the early going.
C Block: Mikey Nicholls vs. Aaron Henare - I don't think Nicholls will do any better than Haste in this tournament, but chances are he can beat Henare. I really thought last year Henare would make a big impression in the G1, but now I've given up on the poor guy. If he can beat Nicholls, good for him, but I don't expect him to do better than 1-6.
D Block: Hirooki Goto vs. Toru Yano - Goto is a co-holder of the IWGP heavyweight tag team championship. Yano is mainly a comedy bullshit guy in the G1, but occasionally his comedy bullshit leads to a win that shakes up the standings. Interestingly, Yano has not beaten Goto in nine years. Something tells me he's due.
C Block: David Finlay vs. Tomohiro Ishii - Finlay is the NEVER singles champion and Ishii is one of the NEVER trios champions. I'm very confused this is the opening match. Finlay is getting the strangest "new leader of Bullet Club" push I've ever seen. This is a rematch from Finlay beating Ishii in the New Japan Cup, which suggests Ishii might get his win back. If it's me I have Finlay go 5-2 and at least finish second in the block. But I'm not so sure they're as committed to him as I think they should be.

bundesliga prediction time: answer the following questions about this bundesliga season
tagged by my beloveds @goretzkas and @gnabries mwah!
Top 5 Bundesliga Teams at the end of the season?
How far will Bayern get in the DFB Pokal?
How far will Bayern get in the Champions League?
Who will be Bayerns top goal scorer?
Biggest surprise? (could be anything)
Biggest disappointment? (could be anything)
ready to read the best predictions known to man or beast?
Tumblr media
bayern: it can’t be any other way really (if we don’t win i’ll kill the board + tt + myself). leverkusen: xabi is actually cooking with that squad i expect a lot from them. leipzig: unfortunately they can get there (the top 5). union berlin: their squad is also quite interesting but i’m betting on them with my heart and not my head if i’m being honest. bvb: they’re shit but i actually expect them to end up in the top 5.
we either get knocked out by quarterfinals or we end up winning it xx
okay so (🧿) if we don’t have injuries (🧿) and manu comes back quickly and tt finds a way to work without a holding midfielder we’ll (🧿) get (🧿) to (🧿) the (🧿) final (🧿)
it starts with ‘h’ and ends with ‘arry kane’
lemme go back to my answer to the third question real quick and repeat myself: tt managing to make this squad work without a holding midfielder (level: impossible)
us not even making it to the ucl knockout stage (this is a worst case scenario ie manu taking way more time to come back + midfield simply not working)
tagging anyone who reads this! if you want to do it just say i tagged you :3

tw// mentions of racism, redface and blackface //
I’m so sick of this s**t I knew WWE was infamous for their s****y blackface promos
But having white people use a Native American stereotype as a f**king gimmick is just adding on to the list of s**t they’ve done wrong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lot of people are going to be like “well it happened a long time ago and it was during a time where people didn’t know any better so it doesn’t matter” no it does matter because it’s f**king wrong.
Redface should not be celebrated and Native Americans shouldn’t be looked at as just a f**king gimmick but rather as an entire race of people.
Now let’s celebrated wrestlers that were actually Native American and successful in the WWE.
Tumblr media
Princess Victoria, a Native American activist who has stated that due to the WWE’s lack of medical care for their wrestlers she is now disabled and sometimes has to use a wheelchair to get around.
Her and Velvet McIntyre were some of the first women to be recognized for holding the WWF Women’s Tag Team Championship belts.
Tumblr media
Wahoo McDaniel was a 5-time NWA United States Champion and a football linebacker.
Wahoo was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2019.
(The fact that Strongbow who wasn’t Native American, got in before him just says a lot about the WWE’s priorities)
Tumblr media
Tatanka who was the first Native American to get a title-shot for the WWE Intercontinental championship and is also known for an undefeated streak higher than Goldberg’s.
(The fact that he never held a single damn title in his WWE reign just pisses me off)
Tumblr media
Jack and Gerald Brisco, Jack Brisco was the first Native American to win the NCAA Wrestling National Championship and the first NWA National Heavyweight Champion after defeating Terry Funk in a tournament, him and his brother Gerald were multi-time NWA tag team champions.
Both were inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2008.
Tumblr media
Chief Jules Strongbow, (Jay’s Kayfabe brother who was actually Native American) was the first Native American man to hold the WWF World Tag Team Championship.
Tumblr media
Mickie James, won the WWE women’s championship 5 times and the Diva championship once during her tenure, she is currently on her 5th reign as TNA knockouts world champion.
She also made history for her royal rumble appearance last year for being the first woman to enter the rumble while wrestling for another company at the time, she even brought the TNA Knockout championship with her and entered with her TNA theme.
