Ayumi Hamasaki's official site has released the logo and official dates for her upcoming 25th Anniversary Live Tour. First announced at her one-night 25th anniversary arena show, the ambitious hall tour will visit all 47 of Japan's prefectures for the first time.

Ticket information has not been announced yet; we will no doubt have more details after TeamAyu is relaunched as an app next month. The tour dates are as follows:

I felt so emotional today……

I'm so glad I got to see this scenery

I knew Yokohama Arena was big、but I was still surprised by just how huge it was。But it meant I could see wayyyyy more of your penlights！！！

So when I first stepped out on stage I was overwhelmed by all of you and your penlights and the size、but I tried to let go of that feeling

I just kept telling myself 「Don't mess up Don't mess up Don't mess up Don't mess up」。

Since we were all wearing ear monitors I knew the other members couldn't hear me〜

But thanks to that I was able to enjoy the rest of my time on stage、which I'm glad about

I mean I was still nervous though〜

Did you all have funー？？

I was also able to take part in the MC！

Looking back on this tour we've really done so muchー right〜！

I've learned a lot😊 And had lots of fun〜

So with this tour and our summer tour

There are 8 more prefectures that I've visited for the first time！

Fukuoka、Hokkaido、Ehime、Miyagi、Iwate、Kagoshima、Shimane、Hiroshima！

The sky in Fukuoka was so beautiful！It was so impressive that everyone was taking photos and videos on the busー I really remember this moment (*^^*)

And the ramen was delicious！

Then it was already snowy in Hokkaido…！

Ehime's Mikyan-chan was so cute😍

In Miyagi I came to love beef tongue

In Iwate the beautiful paddy fields warmed my heart😊

In Kagoshima we saw a beautiful rainbow before the performance✨ The sky was so huge！And the steamed fish stew bun was delicious！

In Shimane we all talked about marriage！

I had so much funー！！！！

Next time I definitely want to visit Izumo Taisha❤️‍🔥

Hiroshima is where I made my oyster debut🦪

Thank you very much for showing me the deliciousness of oysters🍋🦪

I discovered lots of new great things in lots of new places‼️

I wanna go overseas tooー！I'm sure it would be so exciting❤️‍🔥

Also the last day of our tour is finally tomorrow…

And it's the day of Fukumura-san's graduation from Morning Musume。…

I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about tomorrow、but I want to try and stay in a good place and never forget Fukumura-san's smile and the way she often praised me

"the activity will be used as content for NOVA's upcoming YOUTUBE SHOW. i expect all of you to be on your best behavior and do your best on this day."

as explained above, the girls will be assisting the NOVA members in making LUNCH BOXES for their seniors. do not worry, staff of the partnered cafe will also be present to supervise and assist the idols and trainees.

the participants will be divided in three teams, each in charge of different parts of the boxes:

DVD MENT: write a 300+ word solo of your muse being interviewed and asked about a memorable moment of the tour for +6 POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE ANYWHERE and +3 NOTORIETY ! these interviews will be included in the dvd release of the tour

FREESTYLE: write the 8 lines freestyle your muse performs during the tour (see the tour list for more details) for +6 LYRICS WRITING and +6 NOTORIETY !

KOKIA in flashback - 2009

After her 10th anniversary year, KOKIA does decidedly not take it easier in 2009. She releases two albums on the same day: KOKIA∞AKIKO ~Balance~ and AKIKO∞KOKIA ~Balance~, to celebrate the conclusion of her 10th anniversary year. The AKIKO album is only available via her webshop and at concert venues and is distributed via her own office, anco&co, whereas the KOKIA album is distributed via Victor Entertainment. She explains that the AKIKO album deals more with her ‘inner’ songs, as she feels she is both KOKIA the artist and Akiko the person.

She departs on a world tour this year, called infinity (as the ∞ symbol from her albums is the symbol for infinity), starting in Japan before traveling to France, Ireland, Poland, Belgium and Germany. This results in two concert DVDs: 2009 infinity tour at Tokyo, recording the performance in Tokyo, and Wherever I am, a 3 disc documentary covering her journey and performances abroad.

2009 also marks the start of her Life Trilogy digital singles, with the first two releasing this year. The final one will come out next year.

June 15, 2023 - Day 170

Kagoshima, Japan

When you come into Kagoshima the most impressive thing is the 3,500 foot smoking active Mt. Sakuraja volcano towering just East of the city. The place is constantly bombarded by ash from the eruptions and is at risk is a major eruption should occur. The l kids all wear helmets to protect from volcanic debris. The park where the ship docked was beautifully groomed and had a spectator stand to view the volcano as it does its thing.

We took a shuttle bus to the city center and got on a trolley that toured the town. There were many interesting places including a aquarium, lots of outdoor activities, historic sites, the volcano and a large museum. There was a lot of high end shopping area’s downtown and some great restaurants. We ate lunch in one that had a menu in English. On interesting thing about the Japanese is how careful, clean and neat they are. It is certainly a cultural phenomenon because everywhere is the same. I tried to change some money I had left over from Taiwan and they wouldn’t have anything to do with it. A brand new US $ without any folds or tears would be excepted but nothing else. The ATM machines work with the right card but the commission is high.

We only had 5 hours in the city so didn’t do much site seeing but the place is certainly a place to come back for a longer visit.
