Anyway, my gemsona, Lavender Diamond.

I don’t really have any way to incorporate her into an actual AU type setting and she’s kinda her own standalone Diamond, given if the other four (three ) diamonds didn’t exist. I also kinda base her story on my Minecraft worlds, because she’s also my current skin in game lol

My current Minecraft world is in 1.12.2 so I’m using KAGIC, Corrupted Gems, and a ton of other mods to kinda create her story a bit. My main origin story for the world, or most worlds, is that she was created by White, Yellow and Blue to replace Pink, only to discover that her powers were far more dangerous than they had hoped (knowledge is power…) so they poofed and cast her away into space, hoping she’d never return and build upon her own empire (Blue decided they shouldn’t rejuvenate her)

And she did, she just happened to land on Earth, Pink’s old colony. She found what was left of gem civilization in ruin; old structures broken down into pieces, abandoned buildings once occupied by gems, the remnants of kindergartens, cracked gems stored away in random chests, ancient battlefields, and horrible corrupted gems; of which left behind by the other diamonds. Very few gems continued to live on, and were in hiding in some places. In the hopes of building up her own empire, she plans to recruit these gems, and if they refuse, capture them to prevent rebellion.

So far she only owns Earth and its moon. She plans to eventually take over the whole solar system, other planets in the galaxy, and eventually Homeworld. It’s kinda silly how it’s all based on Minecraft, but that’s my way of creating fun stories for myself.

Anyway, some headcanons about her!

- she’s taller than Pink, but shorter than Yellow and Blue (shoulder height.)

- her voice claim is Agnetha Fältskog

- her powers revolve around knowledge; being able to grant knowledge to gems directly but also just as capable as taking it away. (Memory wipe, but for more specific things.)

- her palace has a large, vast library containing all sorts of media, some of it contributed by herself as she learns about Earth and other colonies.

- emotionally, she tends to be pretty indifferent to a lot of things. A gem shattered can be replaced, some defects can still have their place in society if they still have a use, life is finite and there is so much so can do to keep it going. She simply understands these things, and things that Homeworld refuses to acknowledge. She thinks more about logic and practicality than her own feelings, as most of her feelings fall under those things anyway.

Someday I may expand upon her a bit, a lot of my sonas don’t have much purpose or deeper stories because they’re created in a whim for fun.

Kagic Galaxies Announcement

Hello, I am the creator of Kagic Galaxies 1.0 (to clarify 1.0) 1.0 being the fact that, I will probably rename it for 2.0 but it'll still be 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0. Possible name ideas for 2.0 I have no idea, probably decided by the community, with that said tho, I think this is quite a good project.

more of a fuck managers

so i work in bisney, in the kagic mingdom. this is only really important because i'm a transgender person (which is also important) because they have something in place where i can have my preferred name on my name tag and my managers and coworkers have to use it for me in spoken conversation. i still have to use my legal name on any paperwork and on the schedule and stuff like that, but that doesn't bother me at all.

i have a manager, let's call her A, who was initially very friendly when we met! after finding out that i'm trans after she asks me if i prefer my chosen name instead my legal name her attitude towards me becomes colder, but that didn't really bother me either as long as she used it. so i told her the correct name to use when referring to me in spoken conversation and just let that be that.

however, every time she got my attention or spoke about me after this she continued to use my legal name and misgender me, as well as go out of her way to imply that i'm not my actual gender, which got on my nerves. i politely corrected her every time she used the wrong name for me and every time this happened, she became passive-aggressive and cold towards me. it's worth mentioning that i have a long history of abuse and as such have PTSD, so after an instance in which she went out of her way to argue me down after i corrected her i talked to my GM about it and the three of us had a meeting outside behind our kiosk (they're small and you have to go outside for privacy from other coworkers) about how i felt about it and how she felt about it and she agreed to start using the correct name for me. my GM had sent me back inside before them so they could have a private conversation away from me and when my GM comes back in it's to tell me that they have a policy in place for trans people in regards to what i'm called and stuff like that, and to let her know if A keeps up being rude because other people have brought up A's attitude as well.

well A goes out of her way after this to ignore me, to slam things while we're on a shift together, and generally be as mean and inconvenient to me as she possibly can while still flying under the radar of being blatantly rude so she can stay out of trouble while she does it. this has been going on for over a week.

yesterday i mentioned that after work i had time-sensitive made with my fiance and his family and as such would need to be out at the time i was scheduled (like, i had a half-hour window because i had to get through the tunnels and meet them after i got off the bus). we usually have tasks we need to finish before we leave and i ask her about what i would need to have finished by then so i could leave on time and make my plans. she tells me she doesn't have anything really in mind, which happens sometimes. fine.

20 minutes before my shift ends she has me doing tasks that usually take at least 15 minutes apiece because we have to walk through the park to do them, one of which she has me do twice, and then goes out of her way to find as many trivial things for me to do as she possibly can despite me mentioning i need to go. end result is that i'm off almost an hour late and can no longer make my plans, so i have to cancel.

wouldn't be that big of an issue on its own, but on top of everything else, it's ridiculous. especially since i'm sure she did it on purpose to ruin my plans. so yeah, fuck this manager. hope she gets fired.

A Steven universe gem oc I made. They don’t have a name, but they’re based on the gemstone Jet [Jet is a type of lignite, a precursor to coal, and is a gemstone.]

Mostly based on my minecraft skin I am using with the KAGIC [steven universe based gem colony mod sorta thing] Which they are currently in their partly corrupted form [shown with and without their parka.,]

The bottom picture is if they were fully corrupted [with a small doofy doodle of steven for scale] Their partially and fully corrupted forms are fluffy and amorphous, the full corruption floating around. I’m not sure what they do- maybe they just consume things? Idk. IDk what jet gems would do either. Got some suggestions? send em in!

I'm not going to expand into modding territory. It opens up a can or worms that I dont want to get Into. I prefer to stick to "cannon" developer released content. If you want to tho Id love to see how they turn out.

So according to Minecraft's Kagic mod(basically Steven Universe mod), jaspers are divided into three sub-types: Biggs(brownish color with a scale pattern), Ocean( blueish-green with reddish spots) and Noreena(orange with reddish-orange stripes). So I'm just imagining some Gem calling Jasper "Noreena" or even just "Noreen" in passing and Jasper's like "tf did you just call me?" Because she's only ever just been called "Jasper" her whole life.

come to think of it, I wonder if Jasper even knows what type of Jasper she is ?  when she emerged, everything was chaotic and nobody told her what kind of Jasper she was, but she knew she was a Jasper.

Gems with different varieties -- they might not be “born” knowing what type they are.  in my one thread with Rhodolite and @outofthisgxlaxy‘s Garnet, Garnet didn’t know she was an Almandine until Rhodolite told her.

even if Jasper was aware what type she is ...

being called anything other than “Jasper” would probably throw her for a loop because NO ONE CALLS HER ANYTHING BUT THAT EVER.  XD
