hi!,, I just got a mess of birthday money recently and I want to buy a jellycat stuffed animal.. but I have no idea which one! So, I was wondering. Which jellycat stuffed animal would be the best cuddle friend, the smudge elephant (medium size) or the huggedy dinosaur? Sorry- I forgot how to spell the second one!:D anyways, have a good day/night<3.

If you're talking about the medium size of both of those designs, I would definitely go for the Smudge Elephant! Don't get me wrong the Huggadies are great, but they aren't as floppy and flexible as the Smudges. However, they do have more weight to them so if that's something you like while cuddling a stuffed animal you might actually want the Huggady Dino. The softness of the two designs is about the same.

My vote goes to Smudge Elephant in this case!

I’m on study break atm but I got into my college for Games Art and Animation!! I was already enrolled there for their gcse group (I couldn’t handle public school) but now I’m gonna be a part of the actual college and honestly? I’m hyped! Terrified, but hyped!

Yes there's a lot of piggies, I really love pig plushies! You can tell I also like soft plushies and ones that are cuddle shaped! There are also a few others that are right up at the top of my wishlist like... Little Frog, the Jubjubs, and Harper Pup.

I am going to have to chip away at this because some are out of stock rn, plus expensive to get big friends and I need to save up for important stuff. I don't even really know where to start but I can probably get a couple as gifts with birthday gift money. Look at them all! So precious!

Hi! Those are two lovely new Jellycats! Congrats on getting them, especially the retired Woody Bear, I think he is so precious! And thank you very much for your concern, things are not going better for me yet but I am hoping with time I will be okay! This blog is a refuge and a way for me to feel like I am actually contributing and amounting to something in the world even though I do not have a job. Bringing joy to other people through my interest is rewarding.

A lot of Jellycats have that fur texture now, you can either find them under the "Beautifully Scrumptious" range or for some of them like your Huggady Dog under the "Super Softies" range! These two ranges have quickly become very popular and are now as popular as the classic Bashfuls (which have fur that is much less soft in comparison and are less expensive)

I own a Huge Blue Bashful Bunny and I love the size and the way the body feels to hug: squishy, very soft and gives just a little bit of resistance.

Can you think of any other types of Jellycats which would provide a similar hugging experience?

There are of course other huge Bashfuls available if that's a style you particularly like. (The US often gets certain sizes exclusively, so if that's where you are more than what I show you may be available)

That's a wonderful first Jellycat choice! The Huggady series is so heavenly soft and indeed very good to hug as the name implies.

I wonder if you got your boyfriend the medium or the large size. I've always thought the large size Huggadys are huge and nice to have lying on your bed, whereas the medium ones are the perfect size for many occasions.

In any case, I hope he loves his new Jellycat!

hi victor! you said you'd like to see pictures of mine and my friends' jellycats so here they are!

the first jellycat i ever got was fuddlewuddle kitty, he was a birthday present in 2020! all of my other jellycats ive gotten since then! my friend (M) has so far gifted me crumble fox, merryday cat, and huggady hippo! i ordered flumpie frog and tumbletuft cow and they arrived a couple days ago :D
