Just in case you were wondering where I was this weekend, I was in Atlanta for my cousin, Johnny Cummings' (@j_smooth662), birthday party. #bowlero Sorry I didn't get to post at all this weekend, if you are one of the faithful people who follow my pages, but I am back on the grind now. #atlanticstation I try my earnest to post every single day, but sometimes, life just prohibits me from doing this. #escaperooms Prayerfully, I can always post consistently, but every once in a while, it is just impossible to do when I have a lot of things going on. It would be nice to be able to have people help me to post, on a daily basis; LORD willing, maybe I will one day. #escaperoom From the photos you see, two of the festivities that we got into was bowling and an escape room. We went bowling at a place called Bowlero Atlantic Station. I was not a fan of the bowling alley, because every lane we shrinked, compact, and tiny. I had no room to really curve my ball. Hi! First off, I just wanna say that your art is amazing! I honestly feel bad that I can't follow you fully due to the topics covered in the Leo Prime Au and Kirby Au hitting way too close to home (ptsd is lovely at times). Though i do enjoy viewing them when I am in the very specific head space to handle it, since I appreciate how maturely you are handling the topic.

Now I know you said for the Kirby Au it'd take a good while for everyone to soften towards Kirby. Which got me thinking about the disaster twins and how my unique situation of heavily relating to both of them is giving me many thoughts and perspectives.

From what I gathered, Donatello never talked about what entirely went down when they literally MERGED with the Technodrome. I always figured it was a violating experience to a disturbingly intimate degree. The Technodrome, from my observations in the many viewings of the Rise Movie, is a sentient being (I'd offer examples, but i don't want to get side tracked), and the way the tendrils behaved just sent my mind racing. I'm not sure how to..properly explain it but I always thought in this au Donatello was also a victim of SA...maybe not by Prime like Leo was...but it was an eldritch horror that invaded his body and mind. It's literally stated they became one in the movie and- again my brain went a bit...wild with correlations for the au.

That rambling aside, my point is that I feel like Donatello's reaction to Kirby might be deeper than anyone realizes. Maybe Donatello doesn't even realize that there is a deeper underlying cause of their behavior. Idk if I'm making sense...I just have a lot of feelings about the disaster twins and possible parallels they have. I...might wrote a ficlet on the idea? Nope: Jean Jacket is An Angel (SPOILERS)

As my Ricky theory was wrong, thought of a new one after watching Nope for the first time. It is on the UFO itself. Nicknamed Jean Jacket.

Nope is Jordan Peele's latest horror film about siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood struggling to keep their ranch from going under after their father is killed in a seeming freak accident. When they begin to notice that there appeared to be an unidentified flying object going around, they decide that taking an "Oprah shot" of it will give them great publicity.

The UFO first appears to be the generic alien spacecraft that you'd see in a B-movie. However, the film reveals that the UFO, christened Jean Jacket, is actually the extraterrestrial being who is an apex predator that consumes whatever it sucks up rather than traditionally abducting people in alien invasion films. There is no explanation of where Jean Jacket came from, but I believe that there is some reason to believe that the UFO is actually an angel.

The movie has several biblical themes and allusions such as quoting the Book of Nahum 3:6 about making the person into a horrific spectacle. OJ himself also asks what accounts for a "bad miracle."

But the most compelling piece of evidence for why I think Jean Jacket is an angel comes from the Book of Ezekiel itself often being the go-to for ancient alien enthusiasts by introducing the Wheels, or Ophanims, multi-eyed inter-looping wheels that carry the Throne of God. Jean Jacket's first form would match the "circular" shape of the Wheels. As angels are often represented with wings, Jean Jacket's true form appears to have wing-like appendages and the square eye could reference the eyes of an Ophanim.

So, if the UFO/Jean Jacket is an angel, why is it on Earth? Going back to Nahum 3 about making mankind vile, I take that as meaning that God, according to this film, has lost favor with mankind and is now going to cleanse the Earth of its filth. Ergo, Jean Jacket's whole purpose before being stopped is eradicating mankind.
