26 - ink
Had too much other stuff to do and on my mind the last few days but I hope to catch up and make it to the end of the list :)
Imperfect Jasnah is my favourite Jansah. Something about being human.
------------------------ image description: a digital scratchy line drawing of Jasnah holding a paint brush over a blank piece of paper. She sits very straight and poised which stands in contrast to her expression of disgust and disapproval and the ink splatters and stains both on her face, dress and arm. A large puddle of ink is spreading on the paper as well. Next to it and a glass ink pod, stands the dark, small figure of Ivory. His legs are unusually long and he wears stiff black clothing and has a little topknot on top of his head. He leans forward and says: "that was unfortunate." The figures in the foreground is shaded with a pale purple and are set against a background made of a very pale yellow.

One last memento mori -- an unsettling rosary bead, with a small sculpture of two young, prosperous lovers on one side and a reminder of death on the other:

Duck Cosmetic Box
Egyptian, 1550-1196 BCE (New Kingdom)
The wings of this charming cosmetic container pivot outward, revealing a storage compartment. The eyes were once inlaid. The pintail duck is one of Egypt's most common species of waterfowl and was a popular decorative motif.
