I was wondering what cringe even means in this day n age, ‘cause I’m still living like it’s 2015. I stumbled across a tik tok cringe comp and wow... the meaning of cringe has certainly degraded. 

The 2nd vid was of a guy saying how he’s a child abuse victim and he’s proud to be alive after all he’s been through. Just, how is that cringe? The next one was a meme about using a time machine to commit suicide, which in my opinion is more relatable than cringe, but fine. Then there was one just of a guy riding a skateboard around with some calm music??? What’s cringe about that?! Also not to mention the amount of clearly satire videos.  It’s either cringe doesn’t exist anymore, or I just don’t understand what cringe means.
