Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Aymen Dahmen)
(Aziz Behich)
Read the full article

Visual art of Makinch Zar - ISSAM (Moroccan trap artist)
"Makinsh zhar in Darja literally translates to ‘there’s no luck’. The song revolves around the struggles to achieve one’s own goal, particularly as creatives in both Morocco and around the world. The symbolic use of eyes in the video also reflects on Moroccan culture’s superstition of trying to achieve something while people watch closely. ISSAM and others in the video are stylized by fashion designer Artsi Ifrach of Maison ARTC. Other elements in the video like the three black-clad figures symbolize the obstacles he faces that act as simultaneous barrier and incentive for him to keep moving forward. ISSAM’s female companion in the video is also a metaphor for his own moral compass that’s ever present in the midst of everything."

You know when people are like “Oh I’m a Gryffinclaw” and mix two of the houses?
All that ever goes through my mind is “You get one house. No one gets two houses; you’re not special. This isn’t Divergent where we’re breaking the system. You think Ravenclaws are the only ones with brains, or Hufflepuffs are the only ones who ain’t snitches? No, we’re all a bit of a few of the houses. Because we are all humans with complex personalities that can’t be boiled down to just one attribute. But when someone asks your friends to describe you in one word then one word is going to come out of their mouth because we all have dominant traits, and that one word is your house. You get ONE. Count it, ONE house. Hermione didn’t go around bitching that she should be let in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor so you don’t get to either.”
But instead I say, “Oh, cool,” in the driest tone I can manage, then I wait a few seconds for poignancy before I add, “... I’m a Slytherin,” and take a sip of my dark roast, strong brew black coffee that I’m drinking at 2 in the afternoon in the middle of summer. And I do it without breaking eye contact.
Because that sentence and tone and coffee order convey exactly what I’m thinking without me having to say a word about it.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT? By the time I am done taking a sip of my coffee I can tell you exactly what house (singular) they belong in. Because the Hufflepuffs are nice about it and always look away from the confrontation, the Ravenclaws always try to reason with me, the Gryffindors glare at me because they’re ready for a fight, and no true Slytherin would ever demean themselves by claiming to be mixed with another house anyway.

Note
if your Frostford characters were forced to watch one movie all day and then write a 3000~ word essay on the topic , out of the three ' The Bee Movie Shrek Cars 3 who would choose what and who would just give up. I love you and i wish you luck.
CAN I JUST SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS ASK? LIKE ANON THIS IS BIG BRAIN ENERGY OMG :3
So Jesse would 100% take shrek and would 1000% take it seriously, maybe it’s mostly for the memes but they would also argue that it’s the best movie out there.
Allie would take the bee movie, it might be lil bit stupid but it brings back them memories, would they take it seriously tho…? Debatable 😌
Freddie would want to give up, like truly, but they wouldn’t be able to not rewatch Shrek for the 100th time, not that they would admit they watched it once of course, but they would just shut down while writing the essay because watching it all day is enough tomfoolery for one day, probably for one year.
Alex CARS 3 ALL THE WAY, like talking cars? A moral to the story (kinda)…RACING? Fuck yes for them, wouldn’t take the essay seriously tho, no matter how hard they tried.
Bonus Characters:
Issam Twins: They both agreed that the bee movie is the greatest movie of all time, and they’re still on this agreement, won’t take criticism about it 💅♥️
Harry: Wouldn’t do it, if you payed him all the money you had
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AWESOME ASK :3!!!

INSPIRATION
Tumblr media
This campaign of Gatorade makes relevance to the sport and the fact of winning for being a good product full of energy, among other things. I chose this ad because it emphasizes sport and the use of quality products that lead to winning, so I am inspired by the fact of creating something similar with Adidas products and a sport.

This ads are more towards the motivational side, being an inspiration or example for others. In this image it is clearly seen as an activity with effort opaque to the barriers not only physical but mental.
