strawberry kisses || a.putellas
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
not entirely sure if i like this or not, have had this idea for a while and finally got round to writing it while i was watching greys anatomy lol also not proof read so very sorry if there is any mistakes xo
strawberry kisses || a.putellas
alexia loved to kiss you, she would tell you that it was just because she loved kissing you, but you knew it was because of the lip balm that you wore. alexia didn't like the taste of strawberries a year ago, but that all changed the day that she kissed you and your lips tasted of strawberries. since then she has demanded that you never change your lip balm.
that was until you couldn't find it, you went to put it on in the morning after you had done your skincare but when you went to go get it, it wasn't siting on your bedside table where you thought you had put it before you went to bed.
you had searched high and low for it, trying to rack your brain to think where else you maybe had placed it. but wherever you looked it wasn't anywhere to be found.
lucky for you alexia had left an hour earlier for training, always liking to be the first person there to go over a few training drills on her own, while you would rather have an extra hour in bed. so you were hopeful that you would be able to find it before you would have to start getting ready, but after thirty minutes of looking and still no luck, you thought it would be better to stop looking for now and get changed, crossing your fingers that it would spring to mind where you had left it when you weren't looking for it.
but you of course weren't so lucky. so you had to quickly gather all the things you need for training and hurry out the door. silently hoping that maybe you had left it there instead.
_
when you arrived at training and went to the changing room all the girls bar your girlfriend were already changed and ready to head out. irene seeing your confused look told you that alexia was in the gym, which you thanked her for before you quickly changed into your training clothes. taking a quick look around the room trying to see if your lip balm was laying around here. but after looking everywhere you could think of and still not finding it, you gave up any hope of ever finding.
you let out a sigh of frustration, running your hands through your hair before you made your way to the gym with the rest of the girls.
you caught up with mapi and ingrid making polite conversation with the two, but after seeing you lick your lips every couple seconds of trying to hydrate them, ingrid held out her own lip balm for you to use.
"seems like you could use this." she told you, giving you one of her smiles that made her eyes crinkle.
"you have no idea. i lost my favourite lip balm and i get find it anywhere!" you ranted, applying the balm that she gave you. "oh, i like the flavour of this one!"
"it is raspberry jelly, you can keep it!" she told you, when you tried to hand it back to her. "seems like you need it a lot more, plus i have another one in my locker!" she then added on once she saw the look mapi gave her.
"thank you! i don't have a back up." you smiled, giving the norwegian a quick side hug.
"you don't have a back up? or a back up for your back up?" the girl questioned, making you frown at her. "a what? that's a thing?" you asked, making mapi let out a laugh.
but before either of the girls could answer you, you arrived at the gym where the rest of the girls were, making you realise that the three of you had taken a lot longer than you thought.
as soon as you walked into the room you instantly spotted alexia doing some light exercises with patri, you stared at her for a few moments, taking in the way she looked while she was doing the leg stretches and how good she looked while doing them.
you saw her eyes glance around the room, you assume she was looking for you as not even three seconds later her eyes land on you. you saw her say something to patri, before she stood up and made her way towards you.
you didn't get a chance to greet her properly before you felt her grab your hips and pull you into her, pressing her lips against your own, it didn't last as long as you would have wanted, as she pulled away before you could count.
when you opened your eyes again, you saw the confused look that had taken over her face, a slight pout on her lips. "you will gets lines," you reminded her, gently running your pointed finger over her forehead.
she tilted her head slightly before she kissed you again, this one lasted a little longer than the last one, but she once again pulled away too quickly for your liking.
"what's wrong?" you asked her, when you saw the look of confusion on her face once again.
"you changed the flavour of your lip balm."
"yeah, i lost the strawberry one and could not find it anywhere! so, ingrid gave me her spare one, but apparently i should have a back up, and a back up for the back up."
"you don't have a back up?" alexia questioned, "since when was a back up a thing? and why am i now just finding out about it?"
"what flavour is it?" your girlfriend asked, "raspberry jelly. why? don't you like it?" your frowned, "it's not that i don't like it, i just liked the strawberry one a lot better."
"i am sure it will grow on you just like the strawberry one did," you said, lightly scratching the back of her neck. "i love the strawberry one though! Era mi parte favorita de besarte,” she pouted.
you let out a small gasp, "you mean to tell me that the only reason you kissed me that much was because of the taste of my lips?" you joked, making alexia chuckle.
"the taste of your lips is my idea of luxury!" she told you, placing a handful of kisses to your lips. "i kissed you because i love kissing you, and because of the taste of your lips." she joked, "but seriously, you need to get more of the strawberry one, i like that one a lot more!"
"hmm, maybe i will just keep using this one."
"then maybe i won't kiss you as much."
"then you will be missing out, because of my lips are fucking amazing! y'know, maybe i should find someone else who will appreciate the taste of my lips." you joked, unwrapping her arms from around your waist, pretending to look around the room.
but before you could do anything else, you felt two strong hands grab your hips, pulling you flush against her front. "is that the best you could do?"
"i heard ingrid is a good kisser, maybe i should go and kiss her instead, i am sure mapi won't mind-" you didn't get to finish your sentence before you felt ale's lips pressed against yours, one of her hands found home on your hip while the other slide up your side until her hand rested on your neck.
she didn't choke you, just kissed you so deep you forgot whose air you were breathing.
you were thanking god that you were stood in a place where no one else could see you.

colour ask! for tmotl where applicable — dusty rose, blood red, and primrose yellow
thanks so much for asking!!!
Dusty Rose: Your personal favourite character in your wip
you come into my home and ask me to choose my favorite child? be serious.
...hmm, but on a more serious note in that regard, from tmotl maybe india? if only because she was the first one to really come to life in my head. and because tmotl was her story first, and therefore that means she was the one i wanted to write about. a lot of india's character comes from other characters, emotional journies, and archetypes that i love a lot. she's the flawed anti-hero, the nebulous villain, but most importantly she's a teenage girl filled with rage.
Blood Red: Favourite piece of dialogue from your wip
oooh, another hard one, since i have so much dialogue & so many words to choose from.
alright, this is one of my fave bits from tmotl (i attached the whole scene for context, but it's the last line):
“Kevla isn’t my home,” June said, rigid and unyielding. “This city abandoned us, India. It abandoned all the children like us. What do I owe it?”
India was silent. She felt tears welling in her eyes, inexplicably. Her heart hurt. Kevla abandoned me, she thought, but it also brought me back. No one else ever did that for me. No one else saved me like Kevla did.
“Kevla is rotten to the core,” June continued. She was as close to impassioned as India thought she would ever visibly be, reminding India of the times June had opened up before, the anger burning like a bright, cold, distant star in her eyes. “You can’t fix Kevla. All you can do is remove some of the damage.”
Would it stop at just one Benefactor? It wouldn’t end with Catrin. Catrin had never been the evil June thought her to be, and even if India admitted that Catrin was an evil, it was the lesser of a magnitude of much, much worse evils.
“Do you think I don’t know that?” India asked, voice smaller now. “You spent more than half your life locked away, June. You didn’t live here, you just grew up here. I’m the one who spent time in the orphanages. The one who lost shit to floods, and spent time on these streets. I’ve been out in this city a lot longer than you have. I know it’s rotten. I know it’s ugly. But if you leave it be, all it will do is get worse. I might not be able to fix it, but I can stop the damage before it happens. That’s what us vigilantes do. But what you did is like tearing down a dam. You’re causing a flood. A hurricane. Kevla can’t protect itself from this.”
June’s brow was knitted together. She felt very far away from India, even though they were too close. India felt helpless all of a sudden. They didn’t understand each other. She wasn’t even sure if she could understand herself. How did you explain that Kevla was alive to someone who didn’t already know it, who didn’t already believe it?
June might have grown up next to India, but she had spent the majority of her life in white rooms within The Organization. It wasn’t her fault, but her actions had consequences she couldn’t even begin to comprehend.
“Good,” June said quietly, after a long second. Her voice rose with the wind.
“Good,” India echoed flatly. She felt like an echo chamber, only able to repeat back what June said.
“Maybe Kevla needs a flood,” June said. “Maybe Kevla needs a hurricane.”
and then here's a little bit of dialogue from the wip i'm working on right now (which is still untitled):
“I used to think I knew you better than anyone else,” Irene said.
“That’s a lie,” Lev replied instantly, the ferocity of it surprising both of them. She could tell in the way he drew back slightly, expression turning guarded and wary. He didn’t elaborate, but Irene had already absorbed the hit like a jab to her pulse point, with instantaneous pain and reaction.
“You’re right,” she said, looking away and pulling her hands closer to her. “I never understood you.”
“I know,” Lev said flatly, the emotion draining from his face.
Primrose Yellow: What’s your least favourite genre to write?
i'm not super into straight romcom/slice of life, as i like to have something at least a little hefty in there. historical fiction is not always my vibe, since i think it requires a lot of knowledge i'm not interested in investing it. i also don't really like straight scifi, although i sometimes explore elements of it.

Secret Love II
Tumblr media
So, here we are with the second part! I don't really where I'm going with it right now to be honest, so I'm just gonna I’ll just let my imagination run wild.
Thanks for your reviews, don't hesitate leave me some, it always makes me very happy to know what you think of my writings :)
Enjoy!
P.S Part one is HERE
____________________________________________________________
A few hours after leaving your hotel room, you return there hoping to be as discreet as you were before. On tiptoe, you reach your bed and slip under the covers, your mind always with Alexia. She also went to her room, you both agreed that it was important to enjoy the last hours of sleep before dawn. While you are looking for sleep, you don't realize that Ona’s breathing is no longer as deep as when you left, indicating that she is awake.
"... going to be late!"
Ona’s voice comes to you like through a fog and you need a few blinks of eyes to finally fix your gaze on her face.
"Breakfast is in seven minutes, you know how is Vilda with late people"
Oh man. You jump of your bed, frantically searching for your clothes by making more mess than anything else. You sprint in the bathroom to wash your face and comb your hair in a messy bun, trying to get the sleep of your face.
"Ona go, don't be let yourself" you say to your roomate.
"You sure?" she asked, popping her head by the door.
"Yeah"
"Ok. Your shirt is upside down."
You swear before you put it right, jump in your sneakers and go out slamming the door of the room. Obviously the elevator doors close a few meters from you, so you decide to take the stairs. It’s a miracle you’re on time and you're not even the last one.
You spot Alexia, sitting next to Jenni and Irene, with the same fresh, rested look as if she had slept 12 hours straight. This woman, you thought, before serving you a breakfast tray and looking for a free place.
************************
"Y/N what's that?"
You turn around but Aitana had time to have a close look to the hickey Alexia made two days ago. Her loud question made everyone turn around, even if you all were supposed to be focused on your strength exercises.
"What are you talking about?" you ask, your mind racing while looking for a good excuse.
"You got a bruise on your neck"
At this point those who were furthest away turned their attention to their exercises, but you feel that the look of several of your teammates burning your back. You crossed Alexia's eyes for a second and open the mouth to talk, but another voice answers before you.
"It must have been when you fell while getting ready, the morning you were late. I thought she was gonna break her neck."
The second sentence is more for Aitana than for you, but she seems to accept this answer with even a small laugh before grabbing his dumbbell again. It's Ona's look that you cross this time and since you don’t know what to tell her, you’re starting to do your exercises again.
************************
"So, you and Alexia uh?"
You were back in your room, reading a book while listening some music. It was free time but it was so cold outside that you didn't want to go out for now. Ona had said nothing until now, even during the meal time when you found yourself sitting in front of her. Even if you knew the subject was coming at some point, you appreciate the fact that she chooses to be sure she isn’t being heard by anyone to bring the subject.
"Well... Maybe"
You can't fight back the smile on your face and your vague answer seems to be enough for your roommate.
"Who knows?" she asked.
"No one, apart from Alexia’s mother."
"Even Jenni?"
You bite your lip and shakes your head. You know Alexia want to talk about it with Jenni, she's her bestfriend after all. But you had a rule and she just get with it.
"We got together six months after I arrived in Barcelona, I had a hard time understanding what was happening the first time she tried to flirt with me."
You smile in spite of yourself, the flirting was not necessarily the strong of Alexia but you always found it touching.
"And then we broke up when we lost against Wolfsburg, she thought our relationship was what kept her from focusing on the game and the win."
You swallow with difficulty, these memories being particularly dark for both of you. But now that you’ve started talking about your story, you can’t stop. Especially since the Catalan seems to be an excellent listener.
"After that we lost the final... It was awful. I spent every second trying not to look at her, not to show anything to anyone. No one knew and they thought I was disappointed that we lost the final when I was in reality heartbroken."
Lost in your thoughts, your gaze on your hands, you notice only when you feel her presence that Ona left her bed to sit next to you. She places her hand on your arm and you look up at her smiling, which must probably seem strange to her given with what you're saying after.
"Weeks and months passed and we found ourselves training for the Euro. And you certainly don’t need me to remind you what happened with her ACL."
Ona’s grimace speaking of herself, you continue, leaning against the wall behind you.
"I wrote her several times to tell her that I was thinking about her, but she didn't answer. I didn't expect her though, I knew that she had cut contact with almost everyone. But when we were eliminated and I returned to Barcelona, I found her one time on my doormat. She was... I never saw her like that Ona. She was destroyed."
The memory of this moment gives you shivers and you shake yourself mentally to return to the present.
"I let her in and she talked about her insecurities. She told me she was supposed to be in rehab in 15 minutes, but she didn’t want to go. She felt that it was useless and that she would never play again. So I threatened to call her mother and took her there. That’s when we started seeing each other again and got back together soon after."
There was a small silence, during which Ona seemed to digest the information you had just given her. With frowns, she looks at you thoughtfully when answering.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was this deep. And I’m sorry you both had to go through this without being able to tell anyone."
"It's in the past now. I can't talk for her but she makes me really happy. You really saved us this morning, but please keep it to yourself for now"
"I will"
She smiles and you kiss her cheek before she gets up to go to the bathroom. Thinking it's better to inform Alexia, you take your phone.
You - Can you talk?
Mi Reina ♥ - Yes, what's up?
You - Ona knows about us, I kind of just told her everything.
Mi Reina ♥ - Well she kind of cover you up this morning so it was obvious Guapa
You - Sorry if my girlfriend can't keep her lips to herself :)
Mi Reina ♥ - Touché.
Mi Reina ♥ - Can I talk to Jenni about us, since Ona knows?
You - If you want to, it's ok for me.
The next day, it didn’t take you long to realize that Alexia had spoken to Jenni. You have surprised the gaze of the striker several times, examining you with a thoughtfulness look. Every time you catch her looking at you, you were foolishly blushing and it was only when Alexia slapped her head that she stopped looking at you.
************************
Time pass and here you are, at the final of the World Cup. The more you advanced in the tournament, the harder it was to manage time for you and Alexia. But you had a few moments, thanks to Jenni and Ona who covered you a few times. You didn’t escape Jenni’s threatening conversation, based on "Hurt my best friend and you won’t see the light of the day again" but other than that she seems to have given you her blessing.
You were in the locker room once again, but this time it was the Final. You were playing against England, your last game of the tournament. You're not really listening what Vilda is saying, focused on your boots. You start the match, next to Alexia, Ona, Jenni and your others teammates. You’re stressed, you can’t wait for the game to start now.
You haven't forget the promise Alexia made this night in your hotel, but you haven't bring to topic again. Even if it doesn't happend, you couldn't be more happy.
What it seems an eternity later, you were on the fields and the referee was blowing in her whistle. You made it, you were World Champions. Tears of joy and relief invaded your eyes and you find yourself caught in a collective embrace, without really knowing who is tight against you. Cries of joy, tears and the cheering of the crowd around you seem to come from far away.
When you are able to stand up, you find yourself facing Ona who also huggs you before mumbling "I have to find Lucy". Of course she have to, not matter what is her relationship with her, they are really close.
You search for a particular person too, your eyes scanning around for pink hair. When you spot Alexia, she's on the ground and Jenni is helping her to stand up.
A bit like in a dream, you start running towards her before throwing yourself in her arms. The mix of emotion makes you feel like you’re floating when you wrap your legs around her waist and she hugs you back.
"We did it" you say, while she keeps you in her arms.
"Yes we did" she answers, with the most beautiful smile in her face.
If you weren't already madly in love with her, you'll probably fall again right now.
"So… What now?" you asked soflty after some seconds of silence you passed admiring her.
"I'm going to kiss you."
And she did, barely letting you the time to understand what she said. Keeping you in her arms, she approaches her face to yours and places her lips on yours, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Of course you hear exclamations of surprise around you, but you can’t focus on anything other than Alexia. She ends up putting you down, letting go your lips for a few seconds to catch her breath. You then kiss her a few seconds later, drawing her as close as possible.
You may have won the World Cup, but ultimately your greatest victory is her.

Holiday Spirit
Barcelona Femení x Teen!Reader
Summary: You don't have travel plans for the holidays
Tumblr media
Running away to play football in a foreign country wasn't one of your smartest moves but it was certainly one of your best.
You just wished that it didn't mean fielding questions of what you were doing for Christmas.
"When do you need to get back?" Lucy asked you one morning as you changed. She was leaning against your locker, typing away at her phone.
"Where? Home? I've got homework to do later. I think Mapi told Alexia that she would come over to supervise me. I can't go out with you."
"No, I mean for Christmas. When do you need to be back in England? Me and Keira are looking at flights. We're happy to take you back with us. Give you over to your parents when we land."
You laughed awkwardly. "Thanks but I don't need to fly back with you guys."
Lucy gave you a weird look before she nodding. "Your parents are flying out to spend Christmas here. That's nice."
You didn't have the heart to tell her that you hadn't spoken to your parents since they gave you permission to go to Barcelona and then promptly kicked you out. So, you just didn't answer her.
You were sure that it had been swept under the rug after that but Lucy must have brought it up in conversation because, as you pushed your lunch around your plate, Paredes slumped into the seat next to you.
You gave her an odd look. Irene didn't tend to sit on this side of the room. She usually kept to the older girls while you usually ended up squished between Ona and Salma - though both of them had been kept behind for media.
"Er...hi?"
She narrowed her eyes at you, like she was trying to work something out.
"Hello? If this is a test to get me to work on my Spanish, it's not going to work. I can sit in complete silence."
"When are your parents flying out?" She asked.
Your stomach plummeted and you placed down your fork. "Who told you my parents were flying out?"
"Lucy said that you didn't need to fly out with her and Keira."
"I didn't tell her that my parents were flying out," You insisted," Just that I didn't need to fly with her and Keira."
Technically, you weren't lying. That was what you told Lucy. You were already at rock bottom. You just had to get the pickaxe out and keep digging.
"Hmm," Paredes said, staring at you for a long while," You're an unaccompanied minor. Someone would have to drop you off at the airport. If you want one of us to take you there that's fine but Lucy and Keira would be the safer bet."
You just laughed awkwardly, not entirely sure how to bring up that you definitely weren't going home and your parents definitely weren't coming to you either.
"Ha, I guess so."
Paredes looked at you for a moment longer. "I want your travel plans by the end of the week. If you don't want to travel with Lucy and Keira, that's fine, but we need to know who's getting you to the airport."
Safe to say, you never did get back to Paredes about your non-existent travel plans. You hunkered down in the little apartment the club paid for and wrapped a blanket tightly around your shoulders.
Usually, the building was full of your international teammates but with Christmas in a week, everyone had already gone home - except for you.
You were content though, with all your lights off, dressed in fuzzy pyjamas as you cradled a cup of hot chocolate. A movie had been put on for background noise but you were busy skimming through tiktok on your phone so you weren't really watching it.
A knock sounded at you door.
You ignored it. You never opened the door when someone randomly knocked. Everybody knew to text you first.
Case and point: The banging got louder and louder and, honestly, you just hoped that the drunkard outside your door would realise they had the wrong apartment soon.
Your phone screen lit up with an incoming call.
You frowned.
"Hello?"
A sharp suck of breath came from Patri. "You're alive." She raised her voice. "She's alive! Where are you?"
"At home? Why?"
"Which home?" She asked urgently.
"What do you mean which home? To my knowledge, I only have one."
"Spain or England?"
"Spain. Patri, seriously, you're freaking me out here."
"Open your door."
"What?"
"Open your door right now!"
You didn't really want to, not with the drunk guy outside of it but something in Patri's voice made you obey her.
You swung open the door.
A body slammed into you, an arm around your shoulders and a hand cradling the back of your head.
"You're okay," Alexia said, sounding slightly choked up," You're okay."
You peered over her shoulder, seeing a group of your teammates behind her.
Patri.
Pina.
Paredes.
You could just about see Aitana and Marta making their way down the corridor too.
"Why...wouldn't I be okay?" You asked.
Alexia didn't release you, holding you close so it was Paredes that answered.
"Because we asked Keira if you had gotten back to your parents safely but she said that you never flew with her. So, we asked Mapi and Ingrid if they dropped you off but they said you hadn't even mentioned needing to go to the airport."
She crossed her arms over her chest and glared, peering into your dark apartment.
"And I don't see your parents anywhere."
You glared back at her. "I never said anything about meeting my parents."
Patri and Pina winced and you knew that it was the wrong thing to say when you felt Alexia tense. She pulled back and looked at you.
"What do you mean you never talked about meeting your parents?" She asked sharply.
"Why would I meet with my parents?"
"It's Christmas!"
"Technically, it's a week before Christmas."
"Don't sass me!"
You shrunk a little under the weight of Alexia's glare and you wondered briefly if you could shove everyone out of your apartment and swing the door shut in your face.
But, given the way that Alexia was holding you, and the way that Marta and Paredes were guarding your door, you gathered that that wasn't a good idea.
Aitana, Patri and Pina (the little rats) had all made themselves comfortable in your house, flicking on the lights and helping themselves to your slightly lukewarm mug of hot chocolate - leaving you completely at the mercy of the older players.
The combined weight of Marta, Paredes and Alexia's stares had you awkwardly chuckling.
"Sooo...It's kind of late. I should probably head to bed, huh? We should talk tomorrow. Good? Good."
"And let you sneak out of that conversation too?" Paredes said," Not a chance. Where are your parents?"
"England, I assume. Unless they've fallen off the face of the earth which, admittedly, would be pretty cool."
"And why are you here and they aren't?"
You shrugged. "Because?"
"That's not an excuse," Marta said warningly when it look like steam was about to come out of Paredes and Alexia's ears," The truth, now."
"Why I'm here and my parents aren't? I don't know if you've noticed but that's always the case."
Patri, Pina and Aitana snickered on the sofa, flicking through your Netflix account for something to watch.
"No more sass," Alexia said firmly," I mean it or you're going to be in some serious trouble." She sounded pretty serious too so you just sighed.
"I...I'm not going back to England for Christmas."
"Obviously," You heard Patri mutter but you ignored her.
"And your parents?" Alexia probed.
"They're staying in England for Christmas."
Silence reigned through your little apartment although you knew that everyone had already suspected what you had said. It was just different when it was finally said out loud.
"Why isn't your Mama coming to see you?" Paredes asked, a mother herself so you gathered something like this hit close to home.
You shrugged. "We don't talk. I don't talk to either of my parents. It's not a big deal."
"Not a big deal? Not a big deal!"
Alexia looked like she was about to burst into tears on your behalf which was something that you didn't quite understand but just kind of rolled with.
Aitana gently guided you over to the sofa like she thought you were about to break at a moment's notice, squishing you between her and Pina while Alexia, Paredes and Marta took refuge a bit further away on your armchairs.
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Marta asked when it looked like Alexia had finally gotten a hold of herself.
"What's there to tell?" You said dismissively, swatting at Pina until she surrendered your hot chocolate back to you. It was practically cold now but you had made it using milk instead of water and you would be damned if you let it go to waste.
"Maybe about why you're avoiding seeing your parents?"
To your credit, your voice was more steady than you felt. "We don't talk anymore. They said it was either football or them." You gestured to your apartment, to the teammates scattered around your living room. "I chose football."
"And your parents were okay with that?" Marta asked.
"Well, clearly not, seeing as we're all sitting here, having this conversation." You scoffed in amusement. "In fact, I think my dad even said that if I ever showed my face again while playing football that he would swing at me."
It sounded harsh in the ears of your teammates but to you it wasn't. Your father always threatened bodily harm even against the most mundane of things like a driver cutting him off in traffic.
Alexia, in particular, looked stricken at your confession. You kind of understood. You knew that her father had been her biggest supporter and that each and every time she stepped on the pitch she wanted to do well in his memory.
You...not so much.
Anytime you stepped onto the pitch, it was a like a big middle finger to your parents (although you knew that they wouldn't even be bothered to watch any of your matches).
"That's not funny," Paredes said firmly," You father shouldn't have said that to you."
You just shrugged again, rolling your eyes. "Is this meeting of the Spanish Inquisition over? I've got a show to watch."
There was silence for a moment before Aitana spoke, sounding completely heartbroken.
"You're spending Christmas alone?"
"Yeah? Sorry, did I not make that clear?"
"Don't be silly," Alexia said though, talking over you completely as she typed on her phone," Of course she's not spending Christmas alone."
You glanced over at Patri and Pina, just in case they were privy to something that you weren't but they both just look as confused as you.
"Er...No, I am. I just said that."
"And I just said that you're not."
You cocked your head to the side. "I-I don't think that's how it works. You can't just speak stuff in existence."
"I'm not. You're spending Christmas with me."
"I don't remember agreeing to that."
"You didn't need to." She held up her phone. "Mami already agreed. She's asking if you're allergic to anything?"
"Um, no...Wait, hey! You can't just kidnap me! I'm fine being on my own."
"You're sixteen," Marta said," Go back with Alexia. You can have a proper Spanish Christmas. Her mum makes good food."
"I don't need a proper Spanish Christmas and I don't need good food. Everything I need, is right here."
"Oh, yeah?" Patri teased," Powder hot chocolate and microwaveable meals. You're eating like a queen, really taking care of yourself."
You stuck your tongue out at her before looking back at Alexia. "Honestly, I'm fine here. Your mum doesn't need to make me food or anything."
"Funny," Alexia said though her tone made it seem anything but," I don't remember this being a discussion. Besides, I already told Mami. She'll be very upset with me if I don't bring you along."
You huffed, knowing that there was no way you were getting out of this now. "You didn't have to do that. I was perfectly fine by myself."
"You're sixteen," Alexia replied," You shouldn't have be 'perfectly fine' by yourself. Aitana, help her pack her bags. Patri, Pina...I know you were planning to do it anyway but raid the fridge. Make sure nothing will go off while she's away."
"Wait, we're going now?!"
"Si, now. You said it earlier. It is late. You should go to bed. The sooner you're packed, the sooner we can go."
"Can't you just get me tomorrow?"
"No." She waved a dismissive hand as Aitana dragged you away. "Off you go. And remember to pack a scarf!"

warnings: brief mentioning of injuries
31 January 2021
FCB Femení vs. Real Madrid Femenino 4 :1
Goal scorers: Putellas (14), Hermoso (23), Oshoala (37, 70), Olga (81 p.)
With an amused smirk on her face Alexia Putellas put an arm around her friend’s shoulder:” Who are you looking at Jenni?” “No one.”, Jenni Hermoso replied, trying to hide the fact that the question of the midfielder caught her off guard as she was looking at a Real Madrid playing from afar. Another fellow teammate Irene Paredes who knew her all too well intervened laughing:” Lies.”
“Just checking out the opponent.”, the black-haired woman brushed it off smiling confidently. Unconvinced Alexia teased her: “Oh sure, miss professional.” “What?!”, Jenni pretended to be shocked. The defender nodded:” You’re checking her out, right Ale?” “Yeah, she is.”, the younger player agreed.  “Excuse me, chicas?”, the striker acted outraged. Seeing her friend having such an obvious crush on the opponent was very entertaining for Alexia who winked at her:” You’re excused. She’s kinda pretty.” “Thanks.”, Jenni answered, running through her hair with one hand.
Loosing the first league El Clásico at home in Madrid with 4:0 made you even more hungry to challenge the Barcelona Women’s team now, especially because as a defender the received goals hurt you a lot. Without a question your motivation on this cold January was very high, nothing was better than revenge in the sport you loved. Meanwhile Ivana Andrés brought you back to the present moment, wiggling her eyebrows:” You’re being watched.” “By whom?”, surprised you turned your head to follow her gaze which was directed at the Barca players on the other side of the pitch.
Spotting them you shrugged it off:” Oh, I won’t make it easy for Jenni that’s for sure.” “Don’t worry, if she keeps staring at you during the game, you’ve got nothing to do.”, Olga Carmona commented grinning. Excited the older woman with the dark curls added:” Who knew you’d be our secret weapon?” “Girls.”, you blushed deeply, knowing full well that the other team was highly favoured, and you needed more than that to take them out of their game.
A loud sigh escaped Olga’s lips:” Okay, fine. We’ll see how the game’s going.”  “Let’s win this.”, you brought back some optimism. Satisfied with the remark the youngest defender of the three of you said: “Please.”
That the game did not start well for your team was an understatement, you were starting to swim when Alexia scored in the 14th minute. Still, you tried to hold your teammates together:” Held your head high girls, we still have enough time to turn that game around.”
The chance to score the equalizer was presented to the Real Madrid team through a corner kick. While Olga was getting ready to shoot, you were positioning yourself in the penalty area. A flirty voice which you knew belonged to Jenni whispered into your ear: “Hey, pretty girl.”
You didn’t even have to turn around. Jennis body pressed against your back to prevent you from having too much space. A lazy smirk appeared on your face; “If that’s your way to distract defenders, it won’t be working.“ “It won’t?“, she whispered, her lips close to your ear but your eyes stayed focused on Olga, who was taking a few steps back and kicked the ball.
You ran a few steps, leaving Jenni standing and jumped up but the ball was too high. It barely grazed the top of your head and bounced down in front of a Barcelona defender who kicked the ball wide. As you sprinted back to get into your position, you passed Jenni who winked at you; “Or maybe it did work.“ You shook your head in annoyance. Alexia bumped her shoulder to Jennis, nodding into your direction; “What did you say to her?“ “Oh, nothing important.“
You conceded the second goal barely ten minutes later. Your slide tackle came too late, Jennis ball already hit the back of the net. You were cursing under your breath while you got up from the grass. Ivana appeared next to you, patting your back; “Head up.“ “But…“ She gave a you a quick head shake that made you shut up instantly; “It’s okay. It happens.“ “Alright. The game is not over yet.“, you nodded determinedly after a deep breath. Olga smiled weakly; “That’s what we want to hear.“
To your disappointment, the game ended with a 4:1. You grimaced while the final whistle blew and the Barcelona players ran towards each other, celebrating their win. You tried to ignore them while you made your way across the pitch to your tired and upset teammates and didn’t realise that Jenni had left her team. “Jenni, where are you going? We want to celebrate with the fans.“, Mapi called her back. The striker waved her back; “Go ahead. I’ll be with you in a minute.“
She followed you to the other side of the pitch where you pulled up Olga from the turf; “Olga, don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re young and we’ll learn from that. Next time it’ll be better. Promise.“ The other player nodded silently and was pulled into a hug by Ivana. You turned around and found yourself face to face with Jenni; “You.“ “Yes, hi. Good game.“, she smiled at you. You wrinkled your nose in response; “Thanks but you don’t have to lie.“ “I don’t.“ “So, why are you not celebrating with your team?“, you asked, getting slightly annoyed. Jenni shrugged; “I was going to. I just wanted to tell you that.“
“Don’t you want to have her number too? Or her jersey?“, Olga piped up with a laugh. “Olga!“, you scolded her. But Jenni gave her an appreciative smiled; “Actually a good idea. I’d like both.“ “You’re even more greedy than I thought, Hermoso.“, you rolled your eyes. Unimpressed, Jenni looked at you; “Will you give it to me now?“ “Yes, if you give me yours in return.“ “Fair, enough.“, she laughed, pulling her jersey over her head.
“Because it’s getting really cold.“, you added, handing her your own shirt. Jenni laughed; “Oh, please. Here you go.“ “Thank you.“ Olga provided you with a piece of paper and a pen so that you could note down your phone number. You shoved the note into Jennis hand and pushed her away with a grin; “Now go back to your teammates!“ “On my way.“, she winked at you before disappearing between the other Barcelona players.
In December you were supposed to play again against Barcelona. After your match in January Jenni and you became a couple. During the phone call with your now girlfriend, she asked you what you wished for this Christmas you both were supposed to celebrate in Madrid. A soft chuckle escaped your lips:” What I want for Christmas, mi amor? A win against your team of course.”
“Something more realistic, please.”, the tattooed Spanish woman laughed. Playfully dramatic you gasped for air: “More realistic?” “Like a unicorn or a dragon. I can make that happen. But not a win against us.”, with your eyes closed you could see her shaking her head. “Rude.”, you huffed.
Softly Jenni replied: “It’s true though.”  “See you there.”, you answered. Cheerfully she chirmed:” Good luck.”  “Not to you.”, you teased her. You could imagine the dark-haired woman grimacing:” Thanks. Appreciate it.”
You both ended your call with how much you loved each other while you could see your neighbours putting up their fairy lights on their terrace bringing light into the darkness. Maybe that beam of light shone Madrid to a win against their rival.
12 December 2021
Real Madrid Femenino vs. FCB Femení 1 :3
Goal scorers: Martens (8, 23), Paredes (18), Asllani (52)
Sadly, your hopeful dreams were quickly trampled on by Lieke Martens who shot two goals quickly, so did Irene Paredes. In the second half Kosovare Asllani scored but that did not change that Real Madrid lost once again against Barcelona.
The defeat was audible in your voice as you turned your back to Jenni:” No, leave me alone, Jenni.” “Oh, come on.”, the forward tried to console you.  Cooly Olga intervened:” Go.” “Calm down! Not my fault that you lost.”, the Barcelona player shouted furiously. “No, but it’s no fun, let me tell you that.”, you muttered. Surprised you looked up to your girlfriend who handed you a small gift:” It’s still 12 days to go until Christmas.” “Yeah, I know. Maybe it cheers you up.”, Jenni shrugged her shoulders. Carefully you touched the bow holding the small package together:” Do you want me to open it right now?” “Whenever you want.”
Swiftly you opened the present:” A key?” “Not just any key.”, the forward explained seriously. Rolling her eyes Olga commented drily:” If you’re saying that this is the key to your heart I’m going to vomit.” That was the moment Ivana dragged the younger defender away from you. In an honest tone your girlfriend said smirking: “I’m not that romantic.” “It’s to your place.”, you realized.
Clearing her throat, she nodded: “It’s.”  “You trust me that much?”, you asked moved.  Warmly the older woman giggled: “I do trust you that you won’t come into my house and steal all my stuff.” “Yeah, I won’t do that.”, you admitted with an amused smile on your lips.
Uncharacteristically nervous Jenni went through her hair with one hand: “You can choose when you want to come or leave that way.” “Sorry, I was so harsh to you earlier.”, you apologized. Earnestly she looked at you: “It’s okay. You’ve got your key now. If you need to be alone, that’s fine but if you want to come to my place, you know how.”  “I appreciate it.”, you gave her a kiss on the cheek. Hopefulness bloomed in your girlfriend’s face: “I’ll see you later. Or maybe not.”
Jenni was at her place when you used the key to her door for the first time. “Hi.“, you said quietly. Jenni looked up; “Oh, hi.“ “You said I could come, so…“, you started. Jenni smiled; “Yes, of course. Don’t stand in the door. Come in.“ You slipped in and let the door fall closed behind you; “I’m coming.“ You followed your girlfriend into her kitchen. Jenni looked at you thoroughly; “Sorry about earlier.“ “No, you said a win was not realistic.“, you shook your head.
Your girlfriends eyebrows knotted together; “I was joking. Anything can happen in football.“ “That’s true. I still believe this club could challenge yours one day…“, you thought out loud. “I’m sure you will. Real Madrid’s womens team is still young.“ With a sigh, you sat down at her kitchen table; “Right… Is it okay if we don’t talk about the game tonight?“ “Of course.“ Jenni sat down with you. “Thanks.“
As promised, Jenni changed the topic effortlessly; “Did you have dinner yet?“ “No, what about you?“, you replied. The striker shook her head; “I was about to order something but I couldn’t decide. Do you want to pick?“ A smile spread across your face; “From our usual place?“ “Sure.“
13 March 2022
FCB Femení vs. Real Madrid Femenino 5:0
Goal scorers: Putellas (41, 43), Guijarro (60), Peter (65 o.g.), Hermoso (82)
The next El Clasicó was played in March. Barcelona once again didn’t make it easy for Real Madrid. In the 60th minute, you had the chance to break through. You made a run for the ball but as you turned, you could feel a pop and a sharp pain in your knee. You immediately went down while the ball rolled out of play.
Alexia dragged on Jennis jersey who quickly made a few steps towards you; “Keep your head in the game, Jenni.“ “My head is exactly where it’s supposed to be, Ale.“, she replied cooly when she saw your own teammates race towards you. Alexia nodded courtly; “Good.“ “It’s not a big deal.“, Jenni stated, more to herself than to Alexia.
Ivanas head appeared above you at the same time; “Hey, what’s wrong?“ “My knee…“, you answered, trying to sit up, but Olga immediately held you back: “Don’t move. The medical staff is coming.“
You nodded bravely and let the physios assess your injury. Ivana grimaced in sympathy, seeing your pained expression; “Shit. This doesn’t look good.“ “She’ll be subbed off. Obviously.“, Olga nodded while the two watched you being helped off the pitch.
The game ended with another win for Barcelona. On their way to the dressing rooms, Jenni stopped Olga; “Olga, where is she?“ The Real player shrugged; “How am I supposed to know? I was on the field, just like you.“ “Sorry, I thought you might.“, Jenni shook her head. Sighing, Olga put a hand on her upper arm; “Wait here. I’ll go check in the dressing room for her.“ “Okay.“ Jenni watched Olga leave and return a few minutes later.
“And?“ “It’s her knee. It’s not looking good.“, the Real player explained what Jenni already knew. Impatiently, she asked; “Can I see her?“ “Yes, go in.“ Jenni didn’t wait for her, she went straight into Real Madrids dressing room. With your knee bandaged to prevent swelling, you looked up at your girlfriend; “Congrats to your goal.“ “Thanks. But it’s hard to celebrate when you had to be helped off the pitch.“, she replied earnestly.
“Trust me, I did not want to leave the game that way either.”, you swallowed hard. Quietly the Barcelona player lifted your chin, so you had to keep your focus on her: “I know that.”  “Not in the year of the euros.”, you whispered, tears shot in your eyes while the realization was hitting hard.
Empathetically Jenni stroke your hair:“Hey, don’t think about that yet.” “It’s hard not to do that.”, you mumbled.  Smoothly she reminded you: “I know that. But it’s in the future.” “And now?” “Now we have to wait for a diagnosis and your rehab.”, the dark-haired woman pulled you into a hug hoping to lift a bit of the weight on your shoulders. Loudly you sighed:” Alright.”
After your ACL injury was confirmed, Jenni proposed her idea to you which you answered promptly:” Moving in with you? But you’re living in Barcelona?” “And?”, your girlfriend gave you an expectantly look.  “And the rehab process can be ugly.. I might say awful things to you. Why are you grinning?”, you listed all the things which could go wrong.
A bright smile appeared on the forward’s face:   “I hope you do say that to me.”  “You’re so weird.”, you laughed. Playfully shocked Jenni repeated: “I’m weird?” “Yes.” “You’re weird.”, she disagreed with your earlier comment. Now it was your turn to react offended: “Me?!” “Yeah.” You pressed on:“Why?”
“You don’t want to come to Barcelona with me.”, your girlfriend pouted. Slowly you admitted to yourself and her, not without a joking tone in your voice: “I do but I’m not sure if you can handle a madridista.” “I’m sure.”, Jenni confirmed sincerely. “Okay, we can do this.”
19 November 2023
FCB Femení vs. Real Madrid Femenino 5:0
Goal scorers: Bonmatí (17), Hansen (43), Caldentey (45+1), Pina (90+1), Vicky (90+3)
It was a sunny and warm November day while both teams were doing their round in the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Concerned you walked up to Alexia:” Ale, how’s your knee doing? You’re not playing?” “No, I’m out.”, she told you with a sad smile on her face. Cheekily you replied: “I’m sorry to hear it as your friend but as a player for Madrid.”
“Don’t worry, I trust my team enough to believe they can still beat you. Even with you back.”, her smile deepened at your teasing words, but the midfielder hinted on the time you both were out with an ACL injury missing out on the Euros in which your team was under the favourites but did not win after all.
“We’ll see about that, more serious you continued, but you’re still joining us for dinner afterwards, right?” She padded your shoulders, showing the warm side of her few people get to see of her:” Of course.”
You gave her another warm smile before turning away to head towards the changing room. While Alexia watched you leave, Jenni who was set to commentate on this El Clasico appeared on her side; “Ale, I’m really proud of how she came back from that injury.“ “You can be, she’s tough.“, Alexia nodded, her gaze now shifting towards the fans that filled the stadium.
Jenni watched her former team mate from the side; “Yes but I’m glad you two had each other during that time too.“ “Me too, trust me. It was a good idea to let her do the rehab in Barcelona.“, Alexia replied, her jaw set as she turned back towards Jenni. “Agreed.“
The midfielder raised her eyebrows at her friend; “But now she’s back in Madrid.“ “And I’m in Mexico.“, Jenni added with a small sigh. “How did you make that decision?“
The dark-haired forward tilted her head pensively; “It wasn’t easy.“ “I can tell.“, her former team mate replied. “You do?“ Alexia gave a short nod; “Yes. But you got to go. Your new job is waiting.“ A defiant smile appeared on Jennis face; “Exciting.“ “I’ll see you after the game. With three more points for Barcelona.“, her friend laughed in reply.
All three of you experienced the game from different places in the stadium. Jenni sat with some journalists, Alexia with her team mates and you were standing on the grass while Barcelona beat Real Madrid with 5:0.
Of course, the Barcelona players were in a good mood as soon as the final whistle blew but Jenni barely had time for some more small talk with Alexia; “If you excuse me, Ale.“ “Hey! Seriously? You’re leaving me for a Madrid player?“, Alexia yelled after her as she crossed the grass.
Grinning, Jenni answered; “She’s my fiancée!“ “You were not supposed to tell her that yet!“, you laughed, playfully hitting Jenni. “Excuse me?“, came from Alexia, more amused than offended. “Just great.“, you mumbled while Alexia caught up with you two. “Why didn’t you tell me that?“ “Before the El Clasico?“, you replied innocently. “Yes!“ Uncertain, you admitted; “Felt weird with Jenni there too…“
A smile spread across Alexias face; “I don’t blame you. I was expecting to hear it from Jenni anyway.“ To your surprise, you felt her arms around you as she wrapped you in a hug.
Simultaneously, Jenni explained; “We wanted to tell you at dinner.“ “That’s way too late!“, Alexia complained, releasing you from her embrace. You smiled at the two friends and took a step back, pointing into the direction of the dressing rooms; “I’ll leave you to it.“
“No, stay.“, Jenni said and grabbed your wrist. But Alexia shook her head at her friend and gave you a gentle smile; “We’ll talk about it at dinner.“ You took this as your sign to disappear into the dressing rooms for a nice, warm shower.
“But you’ll be my best woman right Ale?”, Jenni asked the blonde. Playfully the midfielder told her: “I’ll think about it!” “Don’t you dare saying ACL bonds are stronger.”, the dark-haired woman groaned.  The younger player shook her head:“No, I’m saying I should have known first if you want me to have a special role in your wedding.”
 “Who says there is only a wedding?”, Jenni replied with an innocent look on her face. Confused Alexia furrowed her brows:” What’s that supposed to mean?” “We’ll tell you at dinner.”, the woman who played in Mexico promised. With a pout on her lips the Barcelona player turned away: “I hate you both.”
Freshly showered you came back in time to hear her last words declaring:” No, you love us!” “Not sure about that.”, the blonde chuckled. You threw an eyebrow up:” Do you believe her, Jenni?” “No.”, your fiancée answered. Smirking you agreed with her:“Me neither.”
“She’s just bluffing.”, the raven-haired woman observed. Still pouting Alexia defended herself: “I want to know what you were hinting at earlier!” “Can we go to dinner first?”, Jenni wanted to know. The midfielder shrugged it off: “Sure.”
After you had a delicious dinner Alexia looked expectantly at you both:” So, will you girls tell me now everything?” “Sure, we have the time now.”, you nodded. Quickly Jenny left the table only to return with something which would make Alexia tear up more than an engagement ring could.
You might have lost every el clasico but it brought you closer to the person you fell in love with and for this you were grateful. Although you’d love to win it in the future but it would be on pause for a while because some things were more important than football.

Taste Test
Kim Jennie x Irene/Bae Joohyun x M!reader

Tumblr media Tumblr media
—————
Working at a bistro in Gangnam-gu had two quirks that didn't need explanation: first, the money, obviously; and second, the frequency of being around Korea's rich and famous. It's even come to a point where seeing awarded drama actresses or show hosts was less interesting than seeing some more interesting figures come by: chaebol hierarchs, mid-level politicians, and the like.
Tonight, the bistro is restless; busy, but not packed. And as you wait a table of some tech company management, you're called to the front to escort another set of customers.
"Hey, Table 27. You're assigned to Ms. Kim and Ms. Bae."
Those last names may be very vague at first glance, but you were all too familiar with this duo: K-pop royalty Jennie and Irene. This was not the first time you've breathed the same aromatic-filled air as them in this space, but in those times they had patronized the joint with different sets of guests. This would be the first time you spotted them together, much less served either of them.
Quickly adjusting your collar and trying to swallow the fanboy-sized lump in your throat, you meet them at the receptionist's area.
"Good evening, Ms. Bae, Ms. Kim. Please follow me to your table," you say, as rehearsed a thousand times by now. Nothing to freak out about. The two are busy with their respective phones, but are noticeably missing their usual entourage of managers and bodyguards. And as you lead them to a more secluded and closed off portion of the bistro, you catch them putting their phones away completely. You didn't think idols could be autonomous to this degree, but you set aside the thought as you pass menus to them.
"There's no need for that, dear, thank you," Jennie said with a smile. "I'll just have an espresso please."
"Right away, miss. And how about you?"
"Do you have any teas? Just a pot of whatever you have tonight," Irene replied.
You note their orders and head to your station. The location of the console where you prepare the coffee is just close enough to catch their conversation, but a glass divider mutes it enough that the clinking of spoons on ceramic distracts you away from it. Doesn't seem like anything particularly interesting though; both just seemed to be catching up from a break in their respective tour schedules.
Upon finishing their orders, you bring them over, with the usual pleasantries to exchange. "Is there anything else I can get you, miss?," you ask.
"If you don't mind me asking," Irene chimes in, "are you new here? I don't recall your face."
"Actually, I've been working here for almost a year, miss, maybe almost two," you respond. Staff normally aren't supposed to talk to customers so casually, but you decide that it wouldn't hurt to do otherwise being out of view from the rest of the crowd.
"So why here then? You have quite the face, why not anywhere else?," Jennie asks.
You try to charm your way out of an obligatory, potentially shameful monologue, saying "Well, short answer is, I do it for the money. Don't we all?"
The two giggle, and inside you're running a football victory lap for nailing a perfectly executed quip. You leave them to it and attend to other tables, but you swear you could catch them glancing at you time to time. They call you over a second time about thirty minutes later.
"Good evening again. Did you enjoy the drinks? Anything else I can get for you?," you say.
"It was great, I don't actually think I've tried the tea here. You have good taste," Irene replied., "but yes, we would like some dessert as well."
"Alright, what would you like?"
"How about you put that taste to the test and surprise us. We trust you," Jennie butted in, with a little smirk. While you would normally be fawning over the gesture, you also felt a growing fear of embarrassing yourself. You swallow the feeling, responding with a half lie, saying "I think I have just the thing."
You walk back slowly to the counter as you ponder on what the pair would like. After a few seconds, you had an idea: Jennie might like a light cream-based pastry, and Irene would probably prefer a sorbet or anything with fruit. You find the closest approximations in your menu and bring them over. To your relief, it seems you've delighted them once again.
"Spot on with the choices, I love it," said Jennie. "How about you Joohyun, what's your verdict?" Irene, however, seemed too busy savoring the treat. "Well, I guess that speaks for itself. Three points for you."
"Thank you, miss. I do believe that's all orders complete, anything else I can do for you?"
Irene, having finished her plate, replies, "How about the bill? We have some other plans tonight."
"Certainly, miss. Just a moment."
As you leave, you can overhear them bickering and exchanging whines and banter. Probably fighting over who pays, as is custom. By now the bistro is taking its last set of customers, so the discussion isn't as hard to overhear. As you return, though, it seems an agreement had been settled; you resolved to keep this interaction short to avoid getting told off.
"Here," Irene said as she handed back the holder. "Please hand this to your manager, there's special instructions for how to use the credit card in there. He'll know how to handle it."
"Of course miss. Thank you," you replied, walking to the cashier.
A part of you felt a bit sad that your interaction with the two was coming to an end. Nonetheless, work is work, and you call your manager.
"Sajangnim, I was told to hand this payment to you."
Your manager looked puzzled at first, but opened the receipt anyway, followed by a quick furrowing of brows. Was something wrong? You try not to overthink it, considering he processes the payment in a few moments. He hands you back the receipt, with the same half-puzzled, half-concerned look, adding, "Did you talk to the customers that much? Move to the front end when you're done with this."
Uh oh. Were you in trouble, for casual conversation no less? The struggle to not overthink is getting difficult at this point, but you have no choice but to stomp it down. As you reach the table, however, you notice the pair are missing already.
Panicked, you rush to the front end to ask your colleagues, and it turns out they were just about to ride their car. You rush out and call for them, hoping to return Irene's credit card before you cause a nationwide scandal.
"Miss! Please don't forget your credit card!," you call out.
The next 10 seconds are a blur. You reach the vehicle right as Irene steps in, and before you could try and call for her attention again, a cold hand grabs your wrist and pulls you inside the van. When your brain has processed the situation, you find yourself inside the black van, facing Irene and Jennie.
"I'll be taking that," Irene said, breaking the silence and swiping the credit card you were still holding in your hand. "You've been such a wonderful server tonight."
"That's why you're here with us," Jennie added. "Don't worry, your manager already knows. The whole credit card thing was a lie."
"Hey, it wasn't a complete lie. It's still a special credit card that I absolutely cannot afford to lose," Irene interjected. "Good thing we had you, right?"
The two started teasing each other, probably hinting that they both had a role to play in what just happened. You, on the other hand, are still evidently puzzled trying to process what had just happened.
"Relax. Consider this an early clock out," Jennie reassured. "Because you've been such nice company tonight, we have one last series of tests for you."
"How exactly is kidnapping me and testing me an act of gratitude?," you blurt. The shock starts to subside and you piece some things together, but try not to assume too much nor think too highly of yourself.
"I mean, would you like us to leave you back in there? You could go back to waiting tables, that's fine with us. But," Jennie pauses, placing a hand on your shoulder and leaning in a bit closer, "where's the fun in that?"
You pause for a second, looking straight into both idols' eyes for a few seconds. They looks seem as sincere as their words.
Without hesitation, you reply, "Well, if you trusted me, I'll trust you as well. Please take care of me."
Irene claps her hands before pulling out a black cloth. "Okay," she adds, "let's start with this."
~~~~~
Blindfolded, your ears are a little more sensitive than normal. In the 15 minutes you gave up your sense of sight, you got off the car, were escorted slowly and carefully by the duo across a bunch of corridors, and brought to what sounded like a medium-sized room (on account of how much their giggles seemed to fill the space easily).
You try to ask a question to gauge your surroundings. "Any chance this blindfold is coming off soon?," you ask.
Someone put their finger over your lips, replying, "Shh. Don't think about that just yet." The voice was a bit higher in pitch, maybe that was Irene? Seemed likely.
"So, are you ready for our little game?," a deeper voice asked. That must be Jennie then. "We're not gonna stop you from saying no." The aforementioned sensitive hearing was most obvious as you felt two different breaths whistle from each side of your face.
Nervously, you try and crack a joke. "Hey, as long as neither of you are serial killers, I think I'll be fine."
"Like I said," the deeper voice chuckled, "you're way too cute to be a waiter." Suddenly, a pair of lips peck yours. Now, your sense of hearing might be a bit stronger, but trying to identify a pair of lips from a kiss? That would almost be a superpower — one you wished you had as a softer voice started to talk.
"I guess that's your first test then. If you can successfully guess which one of us is kissing you three times in a row, you get a step closer to removing the blindfold."
Before you could interject with a "But that's impossible!," another pair of lips meet yours, this time kissing you deeper than the last. After a few seconds, you're asked, "so who do you think that was?"
You took a second to try and think, but the mere shock of what happened in the past few minutes alone blinded your intuition even more than the cloth over your eyes. You take a shot in the dark. "Uhh... Irene?"
"Nope. Try again."
Another pair of lips, this time her tongue meeting yours. They feel a bit less plump this time, and after the kiss ends, you're asked the same question. "What's your guess this time?"
"No, that's Irene. I'm sure."
"Please," a different voice replied, "just call me Joohyun. And yes, that was me. Two more guesses to go."
Another pair of lips meets your cheeks, moving down your neck. The sensation shocks you too much to make a more educated guess other than "I think that was Jennie?"
"Oops, guess you're back to square one," a voice taunted. You couldn't explain it, but the two voices started to match each other, yet were somewhat distinguishable. You could tell the one who just spoke was Jennie, so maybe it was Irene that time?
The test proved to be much harder than you thought. The two alternated between light pecks all over your face and neck, deep make outs, or some mix of both. At different points, their kisses sank deep into your skin, causing you to tremble and moan. And for every instance of that or any wrong answers, a couple of giggles follow. It was never actually long enough to catch any hints right away, but about 6 tries later, you actually make it to a second correct answer: you figure that Jennie tends to be a little bit more aggressive, while Irene was softer, but still playful.
"Last chance," Irene taunted. "Ready?" You give a simple nod.
This round's pair of lips go straight for your neck, but move lower to your collarbones as your dress shitt is slowly unbuttoned off you and exposing a bit more of your upper chest, at least what wasn't covered by any undergarments. Without warning, a second pair of lips meets yours, and starts making out with you. Fuck, both of them at the same time? Did they even want to do anything else except play with you?
Both lips stop at the same time, and Jennie asks, "So, who kissed you that last time?," which threw you off guard. You tried to give it serious thought, trying to think of whose lips you felt on your chest.
With a bit of hesitation, you reply, "That was Joohyun. Jennie was the one all over me."
A short bit of silence freaked you out, before being broken by Jennie. "Finally. We thought we'd have to let you go too soon."
"How about you show us how you kiss this time?," Irene says, as she grabs one of your hands and places it on her cheek. You try to hold back, scared of shocking the delicate woman, but another hand – Jennie's – turns your head the other way. "Don't hesitate. You're good," she adds.
They take turns guiding your hands to their cheeks, to signal whose turn it was to have a taste of you. After a few turns, both of them start working your undershirt off you, taking turns on your chest and neck. You weren't the most buff, but you could feel their soft lips cover you little by little. The past however-long-it's-been of teasing has most definitely gotten you hard. A hand glides over your groin ever so slightly, which is enough confirmation for them to continue.
Jennie giggles, breaking the silence. "Looks like you're ready for the second test."
"What makes you say that?," you reply nervously, your breath still rushed.
A hand guides you to what felt like someone's shoulder, down to their chest. You feel a soft handful of skin and cloth fit into your palm; instinctively, you squeeze, and you hear a soft, low moan. That's what that was. When did they even remove their dresses?
"I see you get the idea," said Jennie. "Same thing: three consecutive tries to guess who you're touching, and this time we'll actually remove your blindfold."
"Feel free to do whatever you want to figure it out," Irene added. "You're doing great."
This time, your other hand is guided to a bigger, softer handful. You guess Jennie, and you're correct. The second time however, your hand touches something warm, and your fingers are squeezed tightly inside wherever it currently is. You try to feel around, and you hear a louder moan just as deep as the last.
"Was that still Jennie?," you try and guess.
A voice whispers in your ear, "Nope. But that was good." Irene.
Just like last time, the two take turns having you touch their breasts or through their panties. You never realized how similar their bodies were; with every guess, each groin you touch is hotter and wetter, each nipple poking into your palm more sharply than last. It takes you less tries this time to get to two in a row, about 4, and by then the room felt much hotter – or perhaps it was just you, extremely flustered by the nonstop moaning in your ears that most definitely left you a little bit wet as well.
"Okay," Jennie huffed, since she was the last one you touched. "Another twist."
You feel your pants finally come off slowly, and both of them sit on either one of your thighs, slowly rubbing themselves against your legs. Their hands make their way all over your back and your neck, and you try to respond by reaching out for both their chests to play with their tits. Their moans are a bit too similar now, both louder than before.
You try to even the playing field by trying to remove their bras, and making your way to suck on their nipples. Whoever you were doing that to, their moans got louder. You could feel Irene's more toned body and firmer breasts on your left, paired with a deeper, more throaty moans. To your right, Jennie's higher pitched moaning matched her softer features pressing on you: her thighs, her breast, her arms grasping you.
Struggling to get a word in from the overwhelming amount of pressure, you gasp, "It's... Irene... I mean Joohyun... on my left, and... Jennie on the right."
Moans turn into pleased giggles. "Fuck, you're good," Jennie said under her breath. A pair of arms wrapped around your head, and you could feel the blindfold come off.
After being glared by the single lamp in the room, you can see both idols in full view: both their dresses and bras on the floor, and a pair of frazzled heads of hair and deep lustful gazes staring back at you. You proceed to take turns making out with them again, as you try and stand up to get them off. You find a bed right behind you, and you take them there.
Jennie and Irene are now both spread out on the bed, each trying to catch their breath. "You took care of me, how about I take care of you next?," you said.
You slowly work the panties off Irene, and Jennie sits up to kiss your chest. Irene comes in with a kiss to Jennie's lips, distracting her enough from you to get her panties off next.
"Don't worry, you'll definitely get to do that for this last test," Irene replied.
"Haven't I proven myself enough, miss?," you respond sarcastically.
"Not with tongue of yours, you haven't," Jennie added. "Here's the deal: one last round of being blindfolded. Three correct answers, not consecutive this time. Just three."
"The catch?"
"Just guess who's tasting you," cooed Irene.
"And the reward?"
"I think you know that already," Jennie teased.
Any sense of inhibition has left you at this point. "Surprise me," you reply.
Jennie grabs the blindfold from the floor and places it over your eyes once more. "One last thing," she adds, "if you cum, you lose."
Once more, before you could muster a "Wait, what?", you're pushed down on the bed and a different pair of lips meet yours.
Jennie's warning makes much more sense when you feel two pairs of lips start to work on your dick. Just the sensation alone of both of them working their tongues along its length, giving it light kisses and occasional licks, was enough to get you throbbing.
The pussy on your face is warm and wet, and you feel your cheeks and chin drenched. Every entry of your tongue deeper into it brings out a moan, which while being sucked off brings more pleasure-filled vibrations down to your base. The challenge is getting the one you're licking to make a recognizable sound, but your own stimulation makes it hard to focus. You catch a lucky break however, and you hear Irene's moan with a flick of her clit. "That was Joohyun!," you rush to say, trying to get the two to give you a break.
"Good job," Irene replied. "Two to go!"
You can feel the pair getting off the bed and walking around, likely to throw you off from assuming they'd just switch places. Your face gets sat on once again, while someone rides your thigh like last time. This time, a pair of hands meet at your cock, taking turns to stroke either head or shaft. You could hear their moans, but this time it seems they were making out with each other, because they seemed to be coming from the same area. You reach ever closer to the edge, and you try to focus on the pussy you have to taste. However, you don't find anything in particular to make an educated guess, so you blurt, "Is that Jennie?"
"Nope," she replied, with a light tap to your dick, as if to mock you. "Though Joohyun here is loving all the attention."
The girls get off the bed again, and you notice the one sitting on you this time is facing the other way. No one is at your dick fortunately, but you can hear Joohyun moaning. Something does feel different however, from the taste of the fluids drenching your face to Irene's moans sound a bit too distant. You weren't sure however, so you kept going for a few minutes (to also catch your breath), and you notice Joohyun's moans didn't match your pace. You make a guess again. "This is Jennie."
She lets out a deep gasp, as if she was trying to hold everything in. "That's two," she adds.
"One last," Irene chirps. Same routine, but this time it's back to facing the other direction, while another starts grinding along the length of your dick without getting it in. This was the toughest one yet: not only were the moans muffled with them making out with each other, or simply being right up on each other's faces, but whoever was grinding you was really good at it. You feel yourself ready to burst any minute, so you try to fixate on anything: the direction of the moans, the taste of the squirt, now mixed with sweat, anything. No dice, not for the two longest minutes of your life.
Desperate to not lose, you beg, "Let me guess!," hoping to buy time.
"Go," Jennie gasped.
"Hurry... please..." Joohyun added.
The synchronicity of their moans alone was testing your resolve to the fullest. But you think you've got it, from the taste on your tongue to the way your face was ground on.
"Fuck, get off Jennie! It's Joohyun on my face!," you plead, as you feel cum start to well up inside you.
The two get off the bed, and you remove the blindfold yourself. You're all heaving and gasping for air. You check to see who's closest to you: it was Irene, and Jennie, facing you from the farther end of the bed, looks at you. She stares for a few seconds – her eyes were incredibly seductive – and gives a smirk.
"Looks like... you won. You're good," she said.
Joohyun adjusts to meet your eyes as well. "Guess I guessed right when I said you'd be great in bed," she added.
You look up, staring at the ceiling, still dumbfounded at everything that's happened in the past... hour? Two? You've lost track. But you felt the two women crawl closer to you on both sides, starting to make light, tender kisses all over your neck and chest.
"We're sorry if we went too hard on you," Joohyun said. "We don't usually last this long with anyone... and we certainly don't feel as good as with you."
"Too good to be just wait staff," Jennie repeated. "But, I guess it's time for us to serve you then."
Their hands make their way down to your dick again, stroking it at the right spots to give you chills, but light enough to not bring you too close to the edge. They seem much more experienced than you thought – probably since they were a bit older than you as well.
"You can do whatever you want with us now. No more tests," Irene whispered in your ear.
"This is the best aftercare of my life," you joke.
Jennie giggles by your other ear. "How can you still make jokes?," she sighs, before locking her lips with her yours. Irene meets both of you in the middle, and the three of you take turns kissing each other, occasionally meeting all three tongues in the middle.
The two split away from your face and make out with each other, and you sit yourself up to watch them turn their backs to you as they flash their pussies in front of you. You don't see their faces, but you feel them start to work their mouths over your dick again, slow and steady but enough to lubricate your whole length, bottom to top.
You take advantage of your position, and moving up the bed to lean on the headrest, you play with their clits, much more properly now that you can actually see what your doing. Their light moans were enough assurance you were doing the right thing, doing the same process of sending waves of pleasure all over you.
You don't hesitate to try and please them more, moving between using two fingers and going back to rubbing their clits. The moans intensify; Jennie's moans turn into high pitched screams, and Irene's turn into chest-deep heaves.
Joohyun, unsurprisingly, is the first to buckle. "Fuck! I'm gonna...," she trails off, before holding her breath letting it all out in a single squeal. You can feel her cum all over your fingers, coating it thick.
"Please," Jennie begged, "me too." You oblige, and you use a third finger to try to stimulate her. Fortunately, it was enough to send her body trembling, and a bit of her juices sprayed out and all over your arm and the bed.
Both ladies catch their breaths before turning to face you, and resume blowing you, with a last wind of effort to try and fish out an orgasm from you. They take you in their mouths all the way, and you throw your head back, inching closer to actual release.
"I'm gonna cum," you try and warn them, but the pair stare at you while they do their deed, resolved to make you finish. They clasp their hands together with your dick in between and start stroking you fast. You find yourself moaning to a backdrop of Irene and Jennie begging for your cum, and before you know it, you burst all over their hands and faces.
They seemed to have fun licking each other up right after, sucking on each others' fingers and exchanging kisses to suck up any stray strings. They have quite the bond, managing to giggle and tease even after such a tiring night, up until they lie down by your sides once more.
"So," you break the silence again. "Did I pass your tests?"
Irene puts a hand over your chest. "With flying colors."
Jennie, however, props herself up on an elbow. "Though, I think I'll be visiting that bistro more often. Just to see if you've still got it," she added with a wink.
"Is that a challenge?," you tease.
"Sure," Irene replied, "if you don't mind us upping the difficulty."
"Well," you said, thinking hard about your answer for a few seconds.
"Then what can I do for you, miss?"
A/N: much longer than my usual, and honestly a bit fun to write. hope it didn't drive you crazy with the length, though i'm pretty sure there's longer here.
can i request for a subby gf irene with breeding kink? thank you in advance 🤗
thinking about the babysitter x milf!irene verse again…
i see this as in a near future, you two together and being public for a year or so, and you obviously can’t get her pregnant because, duh, it’s a dildo, but that doesn’t make her less obsessed with the idea? like, she loves the strap that shots fake cum and almost begs you to use it all the time because it feels so good to feel your body against hers while her hole is being filled :(
and it’s kinda ridiculous because she can’t hide how turned on the idea makes her and you know it and are always teasing her for it. smirking while watching how she desperately rides you and her face contorts, running your fingers gently down her belly, asking if “would you like me to make you a mommy again, mommy?” in a mocking tone, laughing at her pitiful whine of an answer and the way her movements get uncoordinated. or when her body basically turns into jelly when you’re taking her from behind and lean down to whisper how you’re “going to fill her pretty pussy”
and her breeding is totally connected to a baby fever, because i see some girls just liking the whole dirty talk aspect but irene? no! she sees you with a baby? her mind goes [static noise]. interacting with her kids?? god, she completely loses it, how you are so good with them and how they love you so much too, she needs to give you a baby, she never thought she would want to go through the whole pregnancy thing again but she wants to now! with you!!!
Your phone started ringing, once again, right on time, your ex calling you exactly 5 minutes after your lunch break starts so you have no excuse to not pick up other than that you don’t want to talk.
You sigh and pick up, knowing the calls will continue to come if you don’t pick up. “Hello….”
As you talk with your ex, telling her the same thing you have been for the past month, you are seemingly unaware of an annoyed stare in your direction, albeit from afar. Irene watches you, an exasperated look on her face. ‘The audacity of that stupid woman to keep calling her y/n’, she thought to herself. ‘Well…not her y/n….yet’. She really wanted to walk over, snatch the phone out of your hand, tell your ex to fuck off, block her and then kiss you. But alas, she couldn’t do that. And that annoyed her even more. Regardless, she was about to get on with her work when her ears perked up at something you said.
“What! What do you mean you are on your way here? I don’t want to see you. I already sa-. No, we don’t need to give it another tr-…..fine, whatever”, you sigh and put down your phone, rolling your eyes in irritation, unsure of what will happen next when you feel a gentle tap on your shoulder. You turn and find that it’s Irene, your coworker. Supposedly she’s the scary one but she’s been nothing but sweet to you so you have always chalked it down to her just being more prompt and serious than the rest.
“I, ahem, I did the….”, Irene begins but trails off when you take the sheets of paper from her, your hands lingering on hers for a second. You smile at her and you could have sworn she blushed. “……I couldn’t help it but I overheard you on the phone…”, she says hesitantly.
“Ugh..yea..my ex…it’s just a mess”, you start, “and yeah I know I can just block or her not answer or whatever but like…I think she won’t let up as long as she thinks she can win me back…”
Irene listened to you, a concerned look on her face, a slight frown forming on her face before her expression softened again. “Y/n….maybe…”, she hesitates, you see her cheeks flushing, “you should tell her you are seeing someone else…or something”, she quickly added at the end.
You sigh, “I wish it was that easy, she’ll keep on pressing me even then, who is it, how do they look, why them etc etc. Thanks for the suggestion though”.
Irene stayed quiet, a bit stumped. That’s when you hear a shout, “Y/N there you are!”. And you see your ex walk up and you sigh. This was not going to be pretty….
She walks right up to you and you can’t deny it, she does look really pretty, “Y/n…”, she smiles, “look I’m sorry for being so pushy lately…but I really think we are making a mistake. Like it’s been a little while now and it’s been difficult for me and you said it’s been hard for you too so why don’t we just make out-up, oops”, she giggled.
Irene couldn’t believe what she was hearing, no way Y/N would fall for this trap right? Like it was so blatantly obvious.
You stayed silent…yes she was not completely wrong, you had been feeling a bit lonely lately and you did miss intimacy but you had been focusing on your job lately and that made it much easier, like for some reason you didn’t feel like working was such a burden anymore. But did you really want to start over once again?
As you considered your options, your ex took a step closer, smiling, her hands reaching for your cheek.
That’s when Irene suddenly stood up, a determined expression on her face as she got in between you two. “Stop. And leave. She doesn’t want you. How many times does she have to tell you before you understand huh?”, she says calmly but also coldly.
Your ex seems taken aback for a moment before she chuckles, “Who even are yo-”
“I’m her girlfriend.”, Irene says defiantly.
Now your ex looks stunned. She gives Irene a once over, a frown forming on her face and she faces you back again, “Y/N? What is she….”
You look at Irene and then your ex and make up your mind, “Yea, it’s true….”.
“You both are lying, there’s no way, I don’t believe-”, she begins again but is cut off.
“Believe what you want but that’s the truth. And none of your business anymore anyway so just go away”, Irene snaps.
Dumbstruck, your ex just stares at Irene who grabs your hand takes you back to your desk, as soon she’s out of sight, you notice Irene is completely red faced and she lets go of your hand slowly, reluctantly…and then glances at you, unsure of what of say when you hug her, “Thanks for that, you shouldn’t have…now she’ll be after you too…”
“I don’t think I should worry about that too much”, Irene replies, seemingly unbothered.
“No…I mean like…I’m pretty sure she’s gonna be at the parking lot when you leave, watching us to see whether we were lying or not…”, you sigh.
“Oh”, Irene says quietly as she realizes what you mean, “I…I guess maybe we just…just pretend abitlongerthenright?”
“Huh…oh..oh!”, you are a bit surprised Irene is still willing to continue with this facade, “S-sure…I guess that works…maybe it’ll put her off for good? But…what do we do?”
“……maybe….you come with me…you know instead of taking the bus…just pretend I’m dropping you home or something?”, Irene says quietly.
You consider it for moment before nodding in agreement and that was the plan.
Hours later as you get in the passenger seat of Irene’s car, you notice through the side mirror that a familiar car was in the distance, observing. You sigh and point it out to Irene who says nothing and begins to drive in silence.
A couple minutes in, you notice that your ex is still following and you once again tell Irene who suggests maybe you both go to her house for a bit so the ex doesn’t bother you and has no choice but to believe you both are dating.
20 minutes later, you are sitting awkwardly in Irene’s living room while she gets some snacks. You both eat a few biscuits and then Irene suddenly becomes really quiet, she looks at you and takes a deep breath, “Y/N…..I have something to tell you…”
You look at her, perplexed and tilt your head, “what is it?”, however as you say it, you suddenly become very conscious of her hand on top of yours, the way she is looking at you right now, how you yourself look at the moment and why suddenly it feels like there’s so much tension between you both.
She hesitates…and hesitates again and then looks away, moving her hand and shifting away looking frustrated, “Nevermind…it’s nothing…my bad”.
“Huh”, you feel surprised and a bit hurt that it seems like Irene isn’t completely comfortable around you, “Come on, just say it, you’ve already said you are my girlfriend”, you say smiling and nudge her, “What could be-”, you falter when you see Irene look back up at you, nervously biting her lip and then suddenly putting both her arms on your shoulders, pushing you back a little and she starts to lean in, as if you kiss you.
Not knowing what to do you just shut your eyes and a moment later you felt her lips on yours. She kissed you and kissed you again and this time you kissed her back and before you even realized you both had begun to make out. A minute later Irene finally pulled back, both of you red faced and breathless, panting, looking at the other.
Irene clenched her fists and suddenly blurted out, “I meant it when I said I want to be your girlfriend”.
You slowly blinked, “what…..”
She sighs in frustration, looking away, blushing, “don’t make me say it again…..”
Unbelievable, was Irene really saying she liked you? What! Did she always like you? Is that why it always seemed she was nicer to you? Did you like her too? You didn’t think so but…at the same time why did it feel so good when she kissed you, why did your heart pound when she said she was your girlfriend….why couldn’t you take your eyes off her when she drove you here…..did….did you like her too? Maybe…enough atleast to be willing to give it a shot with her.
You look at her and she doesn’t meet your eyes but you feel her tense up, waiting for your reply and then this time, you kiss her. Irene gasps but then leans into it, melting into your arms. She then caresses your cheek and begins to take off her jacket, “Y/N…..I want you”
Even though that makes you want you bury your face and squeal, you manage to stay somewhat calm, smirking at her, “what are you waiting for then?”, you say moving back and leaning against the sofa.
As Irene gets on top of you, her eyes full of desire, suddenly your phone starts ringing loudly completely ruining the mood…you both sigh and you pick up….
“Hello….oh it’s you…what now, honestly you are just being really annoying now”, you say, annoyed now that your ex is still calling you. “No, I don-ah!”, you cover your mouth as you almost moaned because Irene just began to kiss your neck. You try to give her a look to stop but shakes her head, “keep talking”, she says smugly while continuing to kiss your neck while her hands begin to undress you.
A few minutes later, you were shivering, almost completely naked, your neck and shoulders full of hickeys and your ex almost crying on the phone as she cuts the call, realizing what was happening.
You take a deep breath and toss your phone away, ready to jump at Irene but she beats you to it, getting on top of you, her hand clamping your mouth shut, “you were so bad right now, couldn’t even be quiet while on the phone…that can’t happen, so I’m going to test you now”, she whispered as her hands began to sink lower and lower, “if you stay quiet….I’ll let you off or else you are going to be edged again and again until I get what I want from you ok?”…….
By the time you and Jeongguk walk through the door to the cabin, Jimin’s party is in full swing, and the host walks you through the crowded hallway into the kitchen where he hands over a red cup full of beer.
“Only the good stuff,” Jimin says, an uncomfortable smile on his face as he glances between you and Jeongguk, “I’d love to stick around and chat, but Luna is probably wondering where I am,”
“Of course,” You say, eager for the tense energy to evaporate. Once Jimin leaves the scene, Jeongguk sips at his drink, glancing down at you with a quirked brow, “What?”
“That guy? Really?”
Your gaze moves from Jeongguk briefly to look over to where Jimin has found his people, his lips pulled into a smile as he chats with a few other guys and a girl who you recognise from his Instagram feed, “What’s wrong with Jimin?”
Jeongguk shrugs, following your line of sight before looking back to you, “He just seems a little…,” he pauses for a moment, like he’s trying to find the words, “He seems like a jock. I just wouldn’t have guessed he would be your type,”
It’s not the first time this thought has run its way across your own mind, if you are being honest. When you met Jimin, he was loud and rambunctious, loving nothing more than playing beer pong or showing off his skills opening a soju bottle in a variety of ways. Once the two of you began dating, you can admit that you maybe toned him down a little. You wanted a boyfriend who matched you, who was your equal, and in order for Jimin to be that, you needed him to cut out a few of the things that essentially would have made him a red flag for your parents. By the time he actually met them, he was a perfectly polished young man; sensible, chic and intelligent.
Now that you watch him laugh with his friends, the sound loud enough for you and Jeongguk to hear in the next room, you wonder if perhaps you had been wrong for doing that. Though, it’s not as if your advice to Jimin didn’t have its advantages - when you met, most people on campus didn’t really know who Jimin was. Now, he’s throwing parties every month and inviting most of your cohort.
In hindsight, Jimin isn’t really your type. But you’ve dated so many different people, you’re not sure what your type is. All you know is how to change them into what you need them to be.
You’re saved from answering Jeongguk’s statement by the arrival of Mina, her slithe form squeezing its way through the people stood by the entrance to the kitchen before she sees you, waving before walking over.
“Y/N, hey!” Her eyes immediately slide over to Jeongguk and her reaction is immediate, brows raised in surprise and eyes wide as she gives you a silent look of approval, “I suppose you’re Jeongguk, Y/N has mentioned you,”
Instantly you feel heat rise to your cheeks, and you can only hope Jeongguk doesn’t get the wrong idea about that.
His voice is laced with amusement, though you can tell he’s smiling without looking at him, “I can only imagine what she’s said,”
Mina just laughs in response, and you’re relieved, eager to move the conversation onto something else.
“Is Irene coming?” You want her to be a witness to your work, to see Jeongguk’s new appearance. Competitiveness runs in your blood, thanks to your father who has made himself known as a ruthless businessman. You are desperate to make him proud, to have him look upon you as his greatest success, and you know the way to do that is to follow in his footsteps. But, for now, you just want to beat Irene at this bet.
“She’s just talking to Yugyeom, you know she has the biggest crush on him,” Mina giggles, eyes wide when she looks at Jeongguk, “Don’t tell her I told you guys though,”
Jeongguk just laughs, and you glance his way, surprised at the sound. You’re not sure you’ve really heard him laugh until now. Your attention is stolen however when Jeongguk’s eyes widen, glancing across the room before his cheeks turn pink. When you turn to see who or what he is looking at, you find that Sana has just entered the party, looking pretty with her dark hair curled down her back, long legs on show in a short pink dress. It’s easy to see why she has the hearts of so many guys, and girls.
Including Jeongguk.
Turning to Mina, you mutter low enough so Jeongguk can’t hear, “Go talk to Sana,”
“Huh?” She says, “Why?”
“I told Jeongguk that I know her, so go and make me sound good. I’ll introduce myself later,”
Ever the obedient one, Mina nods, taking her freshly made drink and walking over to where Sana stands talking to her friends. Once she’s gone, Jeongguk seems to exhale all the oxygen he was holding in his lungs before gulping down his beer.
“Hey, take it easy,” You say, “don’t forget that’s your only drink for the night. I already have to ride on the back of that death wish, don’t increase our chances of death by getting wasted,”
He narrows his eyes at you, tossing his cup in the trash, “I don’t know if I’m ready to talk to Sana yet,”
“You don’t have to,” You say, sipping at your still full cup, “I can just make you sound good for tonight. We can’t rush these things,”
He seems relieved, which means you’re off the hook. If Jeongguk found out that you don’t actually know Sana as well as he thinks you do, this whole plan is ruined, and so is your bet. For the remainder of the night, you need Jeongguk to at least talk to some people, so you tell him to amuse himself while you socialise, chatting to a few people you know from class, as well as a couple guys who could be potential dates once this Jeongguk business is all said and done.
By the time you find Jeongguk again, he’s sat on the steps leading up to the third floor. The second floor is fairly quiet, aside from what you can only assume are a few amorous couples down the corridor leading to the bedrooms. You know the cabin well, and you also know Jimin’s room is down there. You grimace, eager to avoid seeing anything you’d rather not.
Walking towards Jeongguk, you frown, “Did you not want to socialise?”
He startles a little when he notices you, his body slouched against the stairs, “It may come as a shock to you, but I’m not a frequent partygoer,”
You take the step above him, sitting down and leaning against the railing. Jeongguk twists his body so he’s not sitting with his back to you, his long legs sprawled across the lower stairs. His comment is wrong, of course, you’re not shocked to learn he doesn’t go to parties.
“Did you speak to Sana?” He asks, voice quiet though you know he’s anticipating any info you have, which is none.
“Not tonight, no,” You offer an apologetic shrug, “she seems to be busy with her other friends, but don’t worry, I will put in a few good words for you when the time is right. Any reason why you didn’t want to go talk to her?”
Jeongguk looks shy, and despite his non-existent reputation, you are surprised. He never comes across as shy with you, most of the time he’s a pain in the ass, so to see him all pink cheeked and awkward is a whole new side of him.
“I was nervous,” He sounds embarrassed, and you bite your lip to stop from smiling, “She’s really cute, and I - Are you laughing at me?”
You give him a look of mock-offence, a hand on your heart, “Of course not. I just find it ironic that you can’t talk to Sana, but you are willing to ride a vehicle that has a crazy high chance of killing you with no fear,”
He rolls his eyes to that, standing from his seat on the stairs, “You can keep pretending you didn’t enjoy the ride here, but you won’t fool me. I saw that look in your eye once we arrived,” he grins, “I recognise the adrenaline rush, trust me,”
His observation of you has you feeling oddly exposed, especially because he’s right. You did, on some level totally removed from yourself, enjoy the ride on the motorbike. It was out of your comfort zone, and terrifying, but it also made your heart race like nothing else, and you can’t help but crave the feeling again. It’s wholly inconvenient, given the fact you’re never going to buy a motorbike, but maybe you can enjoy this while it lasts.
Standing, you’re a head taller than Jeongguk - a rarity when you’re on solid ground - and you narrow your eyes, “Maybe you should stop looking in my eyes then,”
At that, Jeongguk smiles, a different, softer smile than you’re used to seeing. Most of the time he’s teasing you, or vice versa, but now he looks like he genuinely finds you funny. The look is wiped off his face almost as quick as it came, and he rolls his eyes, stepping back so you can walk down the steps.
One of your favourite past times on a breezy, Saturday afternoon was to visit the movie theatre. A purely indulgent outing, though you do have an ulterior motive of sorts.
Your love of movies has always been present, ever since you were young and you were first treated to a viewing of Clueless as a youngster by your nanny at the time. Of course, if your parents knew you were dedicating time to something as trivial as a trip to the movies, they would be horrified, accuse you of wasting the hours you could have spent on your academic goals. Mostly your mother, more than your father, being that he’s rarely around thanks to work keeping him so busy. The reminder alone makes you sigh as you push your sunglasses up your nose, walking along the quiet street.
Today, you’ve picked a theatre in a…less affluent area in your home city, eager to avoid the hustle and bustle of the centre district, and hoping to save yourself the misfortune of running into any of your friends. Your movie days have always been for you and you alone, and you know your friends wouldn’t come even if you invited them. At most, they would try to lure you to Gangnam for shopping, or to an expensive cafe instead.
The movie theatre is up ahead, and you begin searching in your purse for your ticket, glancing up for a mere second before your eyes are widening to roughly the size of the moon. You lower your sunglasses, ticket forgotten, as you lock eyes with an equally surprised-looking Jeongguk.
He’s dressed simply, miles away from the outfit you’d picked out for him at the party, his simple attire of a dark hoodie and jeans allowing him to almost blend in with the gaggle of people around him. At least he would if he weren’t taller than most of them.
By the time you approach, Jeongguk is appraising you from head to toe as if you’ve just stepped off a spaceship covered in green slime. He waits until you’re standing around a foot away from him before he speaks, “I never thought I would see you here,”
“At a movie theatre?” You respond, continuing your search for your ticket.
“On my side of the tracks, I mean,” He has a wry smile on his lips, like he caught you doing something you shouldn’t, “and in sunglasses too. Wearing a disguise so the rich folk don’t brand you a traitor?”
“You know, I honestly think you’re the most dramatic person I’ve ever met,”
“Now, I find it hard to believe you’ve never looked in a mirror,”
You give him a fake smile, scoffing at his joke even as he chuckles to himself. You finally find your ticket, lodged under your wallet as you join the queue to get inside, standing behind Jeongguk as he steps forward, the next person to hand his ticket to the usher. You don’t catch a glimpse of the movie he’s here to see, not that you’re looking, of course. Wordlessly, Jeongguk stands by and watches as you do the same, giving your ticket to the young boy in the booth before inexplicably moving to join Jeongguk, as if you’re friends or something.
How ludicrous.
You seem to catch what you’re doing, passing by Jeongguk and heading straight for the popcorn stands, groaning when Jeongguk darts ahead of you and glances over his shoulder with a wicked grin.  “You’re a child,”
“Don’t be a sore loser,” He remarks, and you almost think of a comeback, but you startle a little at even the thought of pointing out that Jeongguk is the only loser here. It feels far too much like something Irene would say, and despite your tumultuous friendship, you don’t want to follow in her footsteps.
The line evaporates quickly, people darting off to go into their respective screens; one for a horror flick, another showing an action movie starring Tom Cruise, you think. It’s probable that Jeongguk is going to be heading off into one of those screens once he gets his popcorn, and the thought brings you relief, especially as you’d almost started to sweat a little at the prospect of Jeongguk barging in on your sacred tradition.
The boy in question steps away from the counter with a bucket of popcorn almost as big as you, and you glance at him with mild judgement before stepping forward. You barely open your lips before the teen at the counter begins apologising.
“Sorry, we’re all out of popcorn for the moment. It’ll be a fifteen minute wait,”
You stare dumbfounded at the employee, “But the movie starts in a few minutes,” already your comforting, relaxing plans are going off the rails. Your eyes slide over to where Jeongguk stands watching the display, chewing a handful of popcorn with evil delight in his eyes, “You’re barbaric,”
He shrugs, walking backwards as you walk his way, hoping to get into the screen and watch your movie in peace. And also, thanks to Jeongguk, snackless. It takes several moments for you to notice he hasn’t left to file into one of the other screens with the rest of the crowd, and a small flicker of panic works its way through your middle.
“Aren’t you going to go watch your movie?”
“I am,” He says, frowning when he registers you also haven’t departed, “I take it you’re seeing 10 Things I Hate About You, too?”
“It’s a nineties classic, why wouldn’t I be?” The whole day feels odd, off kilter thanks to Jeongguk’s unexpected appearance. Despite the fact you’ve seen him on campus and at the party last weekend, it feels suddenly strange to have him in your space, as if he’s seeing a part of you that you’ve tried to keep hidden. And there is definitely truth to that, but it’s also because you loath watching movies with other people.
Jeongguk seems equally perplexed at the situation, shaking himself free from his confusion a moment later as if he finds the whole thing idiotic, “This is dumb, we can see the same movie, it doesn’t have to be a big moment where the gap between the peasants and the rich is bridged,”
When he puts it like that, you almost feel foolish for allowing him to think that you’re social status is the reason why you’re reluctant to be with him right now. It would be easy to let him think you’re that shallow - because in the past, you have been - but for some inexplicable reason, you don’t want him to have that opinion of you right now.
“I just don’t like watching movies with people,” You say, “that’s the only reason for my hesitation. I don’t care that it’s you here, I’d be like this with anyone,”
He frowns then, shifting the bucket of popcorn in his arms, “Oh, right,”
“Yeah,”
There is a tense moment of silence where the two of you just kind of stand there, missing the previews that come before the movie no doubt. Jeongguk doesn’t move, and neither do you, not until his lips part and he hesitates before speaking.
“We could sit together, if you want,” Then his devilish grin is back, and all feels right with the world, “I’ll even let you share my popcorn,”
There are a few beats where you consider his proposal, deciding just this once to go against your values and watch a movie with another person. It’s nothing really, just two people who happen to know each other viewing a movie at the same time, eating popcorn from the same bucket. And you really want to watch your movie, and eat the popcorn.
“Fine,” You reply, lifting your chin, “but this is a one-time thing,”
“Absolutely,”
“Don’t talk during the movie or I will be forced to cut your head off,” You begin walking around Jeongguk, heading towards the doors to your screen.
He follows behind, and you notice him nod out the corner of your eye, “Spoken like a true bourgeoisie,”
As always, your conversation with Jeongguk ends with an eye roll from you, and a snicker from Jeongguk.
IVE INKIGAYO STAGE HITS 3 MILLION VIEWS ONLY 6 HOURS AFTER BEING POSTED
Y/N KANG FROM THE KPOP GROUP “IVE” MAKING HER MARK ON THE STAGE
IVE’S LATEST PERFORMANCE EXCITES FANS AROUND THE WORLD
SEULGI’S SISTER, KANG Y/N, PROVING THAT GREATNESS RUNS IN THE FAMILY
INKIGAYO PERFORMANCE BY KOREAN GIRL GROUP “IVE” IS TRENDING #1 ON TWITTER, YOUTUBE, AND MANY OTHERS
all of the headlines were the same. your group’s inkigayo stage went viral. it was no surprise to anyone, especially given how hard you had all been working. the other members would argue that it was you who worked the hardest, especially given everything you were dealing with, but you simply thought of it as doing your job.
which was why, as mentioned before, the only thing better than a good performance was an even better after party.
truth be told, after you had left aeri a voicemail, you deleted her contact entirely. you didn’t have the heart to block her just yet, but only time would tell when you would eventually find the strength to do such a thing.
however, fortunately for you, any thought of aeri was on the backburner. your performance and its success were enough of a well needed distraction for you, especially given the events of last night.
yujin let leeseo stay and enjoy the after party for once, but she was definitely keeping a close eye on her since she knew gaeul and rei would try and get her to drink a little.
there were a lot of other groups there as well, even if they didn’t perform, they were still invited. the energy and music were electrifying. the rhythm from the bass, the alcohol in your cup, and the flashing lights felt euphoric.
for the first time in weeks, you felt happy. your group was successful, your career was at an all time high, and you were slowly pulling yourself out of a hole that once felt like an endless abyss.
“you look good, y/n!” wonyoung shouted over the music, dancing next to you and gaeul. your roommate was relieved to see you coping much better than you had been just a week prior. she was worried about you not being able to pick yourself back up in time for the performance, but you did it. you gave it your all on that stage, and the result ended up in your favor.
“thank you, wony!” your genuine smile made both of your group members feel relieved. all of them could tell a weight had been lifted off of your shoulders since you finally cut ties with the aespa member.
for them, it was obvious that you were much happier without aeri. even your sister noticed it when she watched your performance in her living room. wendy and irene also congratulated you through a quick text, and they both commented on how happy you looked on that stage.
even if they didn’t know the reason why, it was obvious to everyone that you were much happier now.
even aeri herself noticed it.
i saw you dancing in a crowded room
you look so happy when i'm not with you
originally, only the other three members had been invited to the after party since giselle was still “grounded” as she referred to it. but after the company discussed it over, they decided to send her at the last minute in hope of giving her a chance to be seen with her members in a way that would seem positive.
except, aeri didn’t want to be there. she didn’t want to run into you and face the look of heartbreak on your face. your voicemail already haunted her enough.
she watched her phone ring when you called, and was about to answer too, but she was too late once the call icon disappeared. giselle didn’t think much of it at the time, but then when she heard your voicemail?
aeri almost ran to the ive dorm barefoot and in pajamas. but she didn’t.
and now, merely 24 hours later, she could finally see with her own two eyes the truth that she had been running from this entire time.
you truly were happier without her.
but then you saw me, caught you by surprise
a single teardrop falling from your eye
the rapper swirled the shot glass in her hand, watching the chinese whiskey dance around the ice. it was similar to the way aeri was dancing around you. from where she sat at the bar, she could see you perfectly through the cracks in the bodies of others.
your hair was slightly disheveled, but your stage makeup was still perfectly intact despite the thin layer of sweat lacing your brows. you had been dancing all night, quite literally.
she watched you throw your head back in a fit of laughter. it was probably due to something gaeul had said. you often mentioned the jokes she made whenever she had you come over. it was one of her favorite parts about seeing you.
aeri nearly jumped out of her seat when she saw your eyes meet hers. even though it was just for a fleeting moment, she could see the look of heartbreak and disappointment flash in your eyes.
it made her immediately turn her head to the side, focusing on the ever so interesting patterns of the bartop and the way her fingernails tapped against it.
she waited a few moments before turning to look in your direction again, physically feeling her tense shoulders relax when she saw her favorite smile return to your face.
it was ironic, truly. this whole mess started with her not noticing you at a party. and yet here the roles were reversed, with you not noticing her.
the only difference this time was that aeri didn’t want you to notice her.
i don’t know why i run away
i’ll make you cry when i run away
to be quite honest, aeri didn’t know why she ran in the beginning. she wanted to reach out to you and have you explain everything, but her pride refused to yield. her pride and her fear of heartbreak caused her to run.
she ran from her feelings for you for so long, which was why when she had the courage to finally accept them, your confession about your sex life with yunjin felt like a knife to her heart.
aeri wasn’t stupid. she knew when you started falling for her after that night. she noticed it in your touches, in your kisses, in the way you clung to her more. it scared her.
at least, initially it did. over time she reciprocated the same feelings that she had ran from for so long.
however, aeri was tired of running. which was why she had to walk away from you, too.
you could’ve asked me why i broke your heart
you could’ve told me that you fell apart
which was why when she finally got your voicemail, she couldn’t help but cry with you. she felt everything you had felt, but due to her petty actions and stupid mistakes, it ended up with the both of you losing each other.
as she watched you and wonyoung dance to the song currently playing, she felt the ghost of a smile form on her lips.
you were feeling happier than ever right now, but aeri couldn’t feel any more miserable than she already was right now.
at least, that’s what she thought.
but you walked past me like i wasn’t there
and just pretended that you didn’t care
her heart sank to her stomach when she saw you and your group members walking towards the bar. she moved her hair in front of her eyes in an attempt to hide herself, but truth be told, she knew you had seen her.
she knew that she was there. but you refused to even acknowledge her presence as you walked past her, laughing and shouting at gaeul to get you whatever she was getting.
you and aeri had been friends for so long that you could recognize each other from a mile away. and when things got more intimate between you two, you both knew that even in the dark, you had each other’s bodies memorized.
the both of you knew everything about each other like the back of your hands. which was why aeri knew it stung so much for you to ignore her just like that, even if she deserved it.
i made you think that i would always stay
i said some things that i should never say
the night of the date, or rather the argument since the date never really happened, aeri drove back to somi’s place and got absolutely wasted. she was so hurt, and somi was blasting XOXO so loud that she was positive everyone on that block heard it.
she remembered how she curled into a ball on somi’s bathroom floor, crying her heart out because of how much it hurt. however, she wasn’t just hurt because of everything you had told her.
she was hurting because of everything she told you.
it hurt her, to hurt you. except, she didn’t realize that fully until after she had been caught with jeno.
she should have never agreed with him to “get back” at you. but she was so hurt, and drunk on both pain and some japanese liquor that night that she couldn’t think straight. even though the articles said they were both sober, it could not have been any further from the truth.
just like how she wasn’t actually dating jeno either. SM only said that to try and help make the situation look better and deal with damage control. in their eyes, a couple caught having sex looked much better than two single idols being drunk and horny.
she regretted it in the moment, but she regretted it even more when she heard from karina that seulgi was looking for her.
needless to say, giselle had been walking on eggshells whenever she was in the company building.
yeah i broke your heart like someone did to mine
and now you won’t love me for a second time
aeri knew she had broken your heart, but as cliche as it sounds, she broke yours out of retaliation since you broke hers.
it wasn’t intentional, and she knew that, but the cycle of heartbreak began and ended with both of you getting hurt.
and now, the aespa member was well aware that you were no longer willing to have her in your life. not as a lover, or as a friend.
girl take me back, ‘cause i wanna stay
save your tears for another
the SM rapper knew better than to try and fix things with you. you wanted nothing to do with her, and your voicemail was your final goodbye to her.
even though she wanted to run up to you right now, hold your hand and dance with you under the illuminated lights, she knew she couldn’t.
giselle wanted to kiss you in front of everyone, and tell you over and over again how proud of you she was. you had always worked so hard, even as a trainee. it was one of the many things gigi admired about you.
it was the sum of these admirations that made her fall in love with you.
she didn’t want to be the reason you cried anymore. she wanted you to cry over things like winning awards, breaking records, and giving speeches. she didn’t want you to cry over her and her wretched heart.
in her eyes, it wasn’t worth it. she wasn’t worth crying over.
i realize i’m much too late
and you deserve someone better
you felt a tap on your shoulder, and when you turned around you couldn’t fight the smile that crept onto your face.
“hi, stranger.”
yunjin’s arms wrapped you in the tightest hug she could muster up. “you did so good, y/n.” she grinned and pulled back to look at you. she had seen you at your lowest. when you were hurting because of giselle, even from the very beginning, she was there.
you and yunjin had a very long talk the day she slipped under your covers. yunjin had explained herself fully, and also told you why she did what she did. she even told you that aeri had been the one to text first that night.
however, at the time you were upset, but looking back on it, you were sort of grateful she did that. you knew you would have ran back to giselle in a heartbeat, and the vicious cycle would have only continued.
even though you and the american were not together, you had both agreed to take things slowly to see where they went. yunjin had confessed to you indirectly, but you knew how she felt. she was still moving on from chaewon, and you were still moving on from aeri.
but the two of you had each other, and you were willing to see where things with your new “best friend” would go in the future.
“thank you, jen.” the music changed to a more upbeat song, which prompted yunjin to grab you by the hand and drag you more towards her members.
as aeri watched you disappear further from her sight from the bar, she downed the shot in her hand. the bitter taste in her mouth matched the bitter feeling in her heart. but it was only directed at herself, and not you.
aeri knew you deserved better, even though she wanted to be the best option for you. she knew she couldn’t. it was too late for her.
she motioned for the bartender to give her another shot of baijiu. he poured the white liquor into another glass and slid it towards her. with her left hand, she held the glass out and in your direction.
she was making a final toast to you.
“to my best friend,”
she whispered to herself, the music and ambience of the party drowning out everything around her. she caught one final glimpse of you laughing and holding onto yunjin, just like you had done with her in what felt like forever ago.
this was the first and final toast to your friendship, and the shattered pieces of a relationship that unfortunately was never meant to be.
the glass met her lips as she downed the liquor, feeling the bitterness slide down her throat. she wiped her eyes gently, not sure if she was crying because of the alcohol or because of you.
(she knew the reason why. she just didn’t want to admit it.)
“i love you, too.”
save your tears for another day
-
a/n: the end :)
p.s. a toast with the left hand is considered more heartfelt since your left hand is closer to your heart
Last Door  • Alexia Putellas
Tumblr media
Request: “Hey just wanted to say I love ur writing! I was wondering if you could do an Alexia fic where reader and her are a secret and have been for a long time so they live together but no one knows. Barca has a team bonding activity or something at Alexa’s and people keep asking where things are and reader knows where everything is just like it is her house. Also reader won fifa player of the year and it’s in Alexa’s room and someone walks in and finds it and gets more suspicious. They also keep finding things around the house that are readers.The team gets suspicious and asks Alexa and reader about it and you can decide the ending. Thanks so much!”
It’s late in the evening when you finally enter the apartment complex and you tiredly trudge up the stairs. With a heavy sigh you search for your keys in your right pocket but before you get the chance to pull it out, the door is being opened for you. It takes a second for your eyes to adjust to the light coming out through the doorway, you hadn’t bothered with switching on the hallway lights.
“Hola capitana!” a sing -song voice brings you back to reality and you smile at Laia in confusion.
“Buenas noches” you hold back a yawn and the younger brunette laughs in realization.
“Sorry, buenas noches” she lets you into your own apartment and you’re instantly hit with a dozen voices screeching at your presence. Your eyes wander over the place until they connect with your favorite pair of hazel eyes and your face drops slightly.
“Oh shit” thankfully no one hears you muttering the words as Laia and Aitana usher you closer to the team and you sit with them in the living room.
 It doesn’t take long for the girls to get back to the card game they’ve been playing and you lean back on the couch in exhaustion. A warm body presses themselves closer to you and though your eyes are closed you recognize them. A small smile pulls at your lips.
“How was your interview?” Alexia quietly questions, most of her attention on you but she does make sure none of the girls are looking as she leans in more.
You had just come home from a media event you had for Barca. They had you and Frenkie De Jong from the men’s team complete a few challenges with Barca B players while answering questions. It was quite fun and you enjoyed it but it had been a very long day and all you wanted to do was lay in your girlfriend’s arms and have a good night’s sleep.
“Good, good. It was nice and Frenkie’s a real sweetheart, made it a lot easier.” One of the things you and Alexia had in common was your dislike for media appearances.
"Totally forgot about this though" you gesture to the girls and Alexia hums in amusement.
You cock your head to the side as your eyes open and you’re met with a soft smile on Alexia’s face. You reach out to her but before your fingers could touch her she gently takes your hand in hers and moves it onto a pillow on the couch. Your eyebrows furrow and she nods to the left, gesturing to where the rest of the team are and you hold back a groan. The brunette’s beaming look has you melting deeper into the cushions and you smile to yourself as you turn to the girls.
Despite being so awfully worn out you love team bonding and you eagerly join the team in the uno they’re playing. You pair up with Jana since they’ve already started the game when you arrived and you’re in a heated battle with the others when Alexia stands. Your eyes follow her until she disappears into the kitchen and out of sight. Your curious gaze meets Martha and she smiles at you from her place next to Caro.
“She went to get some drinks for all of us” she explains.
“Does she need help?” you ask though if you weren’t trying to hide your relationship with the team’s other captain you would’ve immediately went after her.
“No, Irene went to help her out” Caro shrugs and you nod at the two as you refocus on the cards Jana is holding up.
“Do any of you know where the bathroom is?” Patri squeaks out and Frido looks down the hall.
“Erm that way?” she points unsurely and Ingrid gives her a blank stare.
“Yeah no shit, but there is like…5 doors. I really need to goooo!” Patri is now whining as she throws her head back and the girls laugh at her. Finally deciding the brunette has suffered enough you give in with a chuckle.
“It’s the second door to the right” she thanks you profusely as she rushes off. Asisat eyes you curiously, wondering how you knew when this was the team’s first time at Alexia’s apartment. The others' laughter breaks her stare and she’s distracted by Mapi moaning about the +4 card Mariona just threw onto the pile of cards.
 Truthfully the Barca team has never been to or seen where Alexia goes home to after games and after much persuasion the captain had agreed on hosting the team’s next bonding night. Something the girls were really looking forward to.
It’s well into team bonding when you finally decide to eat and chaos erupts as the girls try to sit down at the table, all eagerly waiting for dinner to be served.
“God you guys are like hungry dogs” Alexia comments with a chuckle, earning a laugh from the others.
“Let me get that, you sit down” you gently tell her and you slide your hand over her waist as you move past her to get the last of the plates. You couldn’t stop yourself, you’ve missed your girlfriend’s closeness. As you hand out the plates a blue hoodie draped over Claudia’s chair catches your attention and your eyes widen. You take the last plate to the shorter girl and with a squeeze to her shoulders you try to subtly pull the hoodie off the back of the chair.
“Oh who’s is that?” Bruna curiously points at the clothing in your hand and you stand there frozen in spot like a deer caught in headlights. A beat of silence passes through the group as they all wait for an answer.
“Mine, it’s mine” Alexia clears her throat, schooling her panicked expression.
“Really? I’ve never seen you wear it before.” Ingrid comments as her eyes take in the navy blue color of the hoodie. It wasn’t one of Alexia’s favorite colors but it did look nice.
“Yeah, it’s new” she answers quickly and shrugs.
“Well, I like it” Bruna nods and as she turns back to her plate you look at your girlfriend. Alexia can barely stifle her giggle at the expression you’re wearing and you playfully shake your head at her, tossing the hoodie onto the far end of the couch.
You’re quick to dig into the delicious dinner Alexia has cooked and the brunette patiently eyes your reactions from her seat across you. A satisfied smile spreads across her lips as you hum in delight and she finally takes her first bite too.
“Where do you keep the spoons?” Ana’s question earns her a few confused stares and she points to the mashed potatoes on her plate. “I like to eat it with a spoon” she expectantly looks at Alexia but she’s got her mouth full and you instinctively answer for her so that she could continue with her dinner.
“Try the cupboard closest to the sink” you try to play it off as a suggestion but the suspicious look in Mapi’s eyes when Ana thanks you and pulls out a spoon from where you ‘guessed’ it’d be, is a stare that makes you shrink in your place.
“You really know where everything is, don’t you Y/N/N?” you swallow a mouthful of water as several of your teammates turn to the defender and you.
“I uh, guessed..?” Alexia lightly smacks her forehead.
“Mhmm” Mapi presses. “You sure this is your first time here? Because I know it is for us and we didn’t even know where the bathroom was, but you, you even knew where to find the cutlery.”
Mapi’s interrogation catches you off guard and you shift in your seat.
“She’s been here once or twice” Alexia nonchalantly announces and you almost drop your knife in surprise.
“Oh how privileged of you” Irene teases knowing just how much Alexia liked her privacy, one of the reasons the team has never visited her place before.
“Not really. Y/N came over to pick up something Barca sent to the wrong address.” That’s a good lie, you had to admit. Mapi doesn’t seem to buy it but she leaves it for the time being.
You’ve eaten yourself full when the team decides to watch a movie to end the night and you hang back as they settle in the living room.
“Let me help you clean up” you wink at Alexia, letting Caro know that she could join the rest of the girls and choose a movie. The two of you wait a second and then Alexia’s arms are immediately around yours neck, her lips capturing yours in a tender but deep kiss. You sigh into it happily, keeping a close hold on her hips.
“Te amo”
“Te amo” she whispers back as you separate and your eyes shine with love under the warm light of the kitchen lamp as you beam at her.
“Was that your mom’s recipe?” Alexia nods at you with a bashful smile and you squeeze her hips. “You’re getting better and better, Ale. It was so good” you reenact a chef's kiss gesture and the girl in your arms giggles quietly. A soft smile is etched onto your face as you soak in the moment.
“Are you guys coming? We wanna start!” Jana and Lucy call out from the living room in synch and you roll your eyes at their antics as you pull away from Alexia who instantly misses your warmth.
“Come on, querida”
As interesting as the film is, you’re dozing off. It isn’t intentional though and Alexia hides her grin behind her hand as she watches your head loll to the side before you pick it up again.
“Where is your bathroom?” Aitana whispers next to the captain.
“Again? Didn’t you just go?”
“No, that was Patri”
“Last door I think” the midfielder’s eyebrows furrow.
“What do you mean you think?” But Alexia is too entranced by the film, at least that’s what Aitana thinks but the brunette is looking at you from the corner of her eye.
With a small sigh Aitana gets up and waltzes down the length of the corridor and slowly opens the door on the far end, almost as if she was expecting for something to attack her.
She lets the door swing fully open and she stares into the room, chewing on her lip as she takes in the sight. In the middle of the room sits a bed that’s way too big for one person and far too many pillows stand at the headboard to not question it. She shrugs to herself nonetheless, Alexia probably just liked to be comfortable and that bed looked very comfortable.
“What are you doing?” a voice has her jumping in place and she holds onto the door post in fright. Patri stands in front of her, the taller brunette giving her a questioning look.
“I- the bathroom?” Aitana stutters out as she tries to calm her racing heart.
“It’s the second door to the- woah that’s a huge bed” Patri muses as she cuts herself off and she steps into the room. Aitana follows her as she convinces herself that it’s because she doesn’t want Patri doing anything stupid and not because she’s just as nosy. The two of them walk closer to the dark shelves around the tv on the wall and their eyes wander over the things lined up on them.
“Oh look! It’s baby Ale with her first team!” Patri enthusiastically points to the framed picture before she picks it up and shoves it under Aitana’s nose. “I always forget Ale and Y/N/N knew each other back then”
“She’s in the picture?” Aitana takes it from her friend as she analyzes it.
“Yeah, see?” Patri points to the figure standing next to their captain, a girl that so happens to be their other captain.
“Wow” Patri is already looking over at the other shelves. Her eyes rake over the many trophies and medals on the lover shelves, a seemingly never ending collection of silverware and she lowly whistles to herself. Aitana smacks her in the back for causing noise and she’s met with a slightly offended look on Patri’s face.
“Do you think she also keeps her Ballon D’or here?” she looks around as if trying to spot where the spherical trophy could be hiding.
“I don’t think they’re allowed to just keep those” Aitana wonders to herself as she looks over the shelf Patri had been eyeing mere seconds ago.
She squints her eyes at certain awards, though she doesn’t question them too much, no one could keep count of how much Alexia has won. Until her eyes stop on a certain trophy and she pulls a face and she starts counting in her head. As far as she knew, Alexia didn’t have so many Fifa best player awards or Fifa best XI awards, not as many as were decorating her shelf.
Her head snaps back towards the bed, now taking notice of the blue hoodie that was draped over the dining room chair. She saunters over and gently runs her fingers over the material until her hand stops. She straightens it as she reads your last name etched onto the front of the shirt and though the letters are small, they’re still visible.
She doesn’t have much time to think about it.
“Come on Tana, the girls are leaving” Patri pulls her out of the room quickly so as to not get caught snooping around their captain’s room. They knew it was wrong of them but they were too curious.
“Are you coming Y/N?” Marta is halfway out the door as she herds the rest of the team out and you meet her questioning gaze.
“No, no. I’ll help Ale tidy up but you guys go” you shoo her away with a smile and she nods back.
“We had a great time girls, have a good night!” Alexia calls after them before shutting the front door closed after saying goodbye. You find yourself wiggling your way into the brunette’s arms and you inhale her comforting scent as you lay your head onto her shoulder.
“Let’s go to bed mi amor” your girlfriend softly coos into your ear as she brushes your hair back from your face and you tiredly smile at her as you press a quick kiss onto her lips.
“They don’t got a clue in the world” you grin and wink at her. Alexia laughs in agreement.
“No amor, we did good” she high fives you and intertwines your fingers as she tugs you closer to kiss your cheek.
“They’re definitely together” Asisat speaks up the second the door is closed behind the team and the girls nod, many giggling at the new found information.
“I told you!” Mapi confidently points out, her victorious smile blinding the rest.
“It’s cute that they think they’re hiding it well” Laughters erupt amongst the team at that, though they had to admit, you and Alexia made a great couple even if they haven’t seen much of your relationship just yet.
Hello mother, how are you? Big congratulations on the 800 followers. You deserve those and more🫶❤️🤗
Also, I don't know if you have already saw the Red Velvet trailer of yestarday, but any thoughts on Red Velvet being a cult manipulating you in joining them just to fuck you?👀🥴
Zazá
Hi Zazá, my beloved friend! 💖💖💖 I haven't answered before bc I needed to watch the trailer first!!
And thank you for congratulating me, you are the best 🥹
And girl??? If I could kiss your mind I would!!
Just imagine them as the heads of the cult, everyone so secretive and collected, always smiling at the pretty girls adoring them. They usually would each one choose one companion, but they all wanted you. Not even Irene could claim you alone because you were so mesmerizing they were all obsessing over you 🫠
So they decide to share.
The first time you were so clueless that they all thought you were the sweetest thing, willingly getting on your knees in front of the five of them, ever so sweet, a proper little lamb.
Irene kissed your forehead, laying you on the table as yeri ever so impatiently pulled your panties down to seulgi open your legs. You were breathing so heavily that you couldn't actually understand who was the one touching you and who was praising you talking sweet nothings to your ear. You felt joy's lips first sucking harshly on your clit as Wendy licked and bit your nipples.
They were the deities, the divine; but at that moment the five of them adored you on their knees.
They all passed you around, taking turns fingering you, humping and licking your pretty tight pussy, your ass...
You felt yourself fighting for your life when they also took turns sitting on your face as one of the others scissored you 🤤🤤🤤🤤
When they were done they cleaned you to put you back in bed as if none of that ever happened, but with the clear intentions of doing it again.
All the other girls asking you what the higher ups wanted with you and you just shilly said "they wanted me to be a good little lamb..." 🥺
Heyy it's me again, lol. Ur criminal minds hcs for Reid were so good!! Thank u for blessing me. 🙌🏻 I was wondering if ud be down to write maybe a one-shot or a drabble of Reid comforting a reader (I almost wrote reider bc I spaced out and like akjsldj) who just had friends leave them when they thought they were really close? I hope that's not too specific!! Thank you sm for blessing the world with ur writing. It literally makes my day so much brighter whenever you post. 🥰
A/N: CUTE!! Reider would be a really cute fandom name for him ngl. Also I’ve fallen out of contact with friends that I thought were gonna be in it for the long run with me but unfortunately it just didn’t work out that way even if we didn’t fall out. ALSO specifics are great with me because then it’s clear what I need to write and what you want me to write so don’t apologize!! Can you tell I don’t know how to comfort anyone?
Tw: some cursing, some abandonment issues, mentions of bullying within the friend group. Isolation, ghosting. Lmk if there’s something I should tag!
Genre: angst, one shot, some fluff
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader (can be read platonically or romantically in think. Also can be read as gender neutral maybe?) if I added pronouns or descriptors let me know!!
Wc:1.3k
Criminal Minds Masterlist
It’s strange when you break up with a friend, even more so when the reason that you breakup is something stupid, something avoidable. It hurts even more when you get abandoned, ghosted by someone you thought would be in your life for the rest of it. No one ever prepares you for friendships ending. You get prepared for romantic relationships, death, and maybe sometimes you drift apart from friends but even then you’re prepared.
You stare at the group chat that had defined your childhood and teenage years. Stare at the names followed by “has left the chat” with a feeling in your heart that is only rivaled by death of a loved one if you remembered correctly. It had been a while.
It was a petty argument that only lasted a day, something about how everyone treated you. You regretted bringing it up on the first day that you had been ignored after sending a message. That day turned into a week which turned into them all leaving the group chat without telling you which hurt more than being kicked out of it. Did you really mean that little that they would ghost you that easily?
You never started arguments usually. You never even participated in them, trying to stay neutral in order to keep everyone happy. Always passive and agreeable and everyone liked you that way. The one time you have something to get off your chest…maybe you shouldn’t have said anything.
You tried to message one of your friends first, you hadn’t known her as long as some of the others in the group, but she was always sweet and didn’t seem like the type to ghost.
You 5:43 pm: Irene what happened? I saw you all left the group chat. Is something wrong?
You don’t get an answer back for an hour. And it makes your heart squeeze in your chest. It isn’t really an answer, but at the same time it answered both of your questions. To her you didn’t really matter all that much and something was really wrong.
Irene 7:01 pm: just leave me alone. You said what you needed to say, if you message me again I’ll block you.
You try again with a different friend. One you have known a little longer. One who had complained to you and confided in you and one that you thought you were close to than this.
He doesn’t answer at all, and neither do the other two that you message. Eventually you figure out that your messages never sent because you had been blocked. Going to their instagrams and twitters, everything is gone as soon as you click on them. Even their TikTok’s have nothing for you to look at.
Soon enough you’re fighting off tears, your chest tight and your stomach swirling. Was speaking up for yourself really worth this? Your head spins and your vision becomes blurry as you click on the last contact that’s available to you.
Your best friend. Having known her for the longest time out of all of them, you’d think she’d say something before doing something like this. You two met in elementary school, and were friends before the group got together. If you think about it more your friendship reminded you of the one in Jennifer’s Body. Except instead of saving everyone, you were being ignored and abandoned by the person you thought was going to be there even if everyone else wouldn’t. The person that you thought you could rely on.
But before you could message her, one came straight to you. The bubbles popping up as she’s typing something else. You can’t really understand the first paragraph, your mind to overwhelmed by the weeks events to be able to read.
Emilie 7:42 pm: I just wanted to message you before you tried anything with me. I’m honestly not interested in talking to you anymore after how you talked to me and my friends. None of us want you in the group anymore, and honestly it’s fucking pathetic that you’re reaching out and asking if anything is wrong when you’re the reason everyone was upset in the first place. Like you said we were shit friends, and now you wanna act like everything confuses you? If we were so shitty to you, why do you want us to still talk to you? I told Jacob, Josh, Irene, and Paisley to block you if you message them because honestly they don’t need you to try to beg and plead with them. You’re toxic and we’re done with you. Honestly, you look pathetic and desperate for attention messaging all of us like this. I’m not even gonna bother blocking you because it doesn’t really matter that much to me and maybe in the future I could be open to being friends again but for right now, I’m over it. Bye. You should do better.
Now the tears fall down your face, hot and burning as they trail down your cheeks and onto the screen of your phone. Going onto instagram to doom scroll your feelings away, you are immediately met with a photo of your friend group hanging out without you. Taken aback, you try to bring yourself to unfollow Emilie, to block her and effectively cut her out of your life while your wounds are fresh and your friendship is newly ended so you don’t have to torture yourself. But that’s exactly what you do, torture yourself. Instead of unfollowing her, deleting all of the pictures of her and your friend group from your feed, you scroll through them, the tears falling faster the longer you sit there and reminisce. You don’t even hear the front door open and close, and the only reason you know it did is because of the weight that causes you to lean towards the new person in the bed. Warmth blankets around you, the feeling of arms wrapped around your body brings you out of your mind.
Turning to look at the man next to you, you see that Spencer is looking at you as if you’re a wounded animal and it makes you burst out into tears. Maybe you really did look pathetic. “Oh no…what happened?”
You tried to explain, but couldn’t properly while you were blubbering. Instead you just throw your phone to him and let your head fall into your hands. He takes a literal second to read, then lets out a gust of air that usually meant he was surprised and didn’t know what to say.
He moves to hug you again, resting his head on top of yours. “You know…they say that it takes 200 hours to form a close friendship with someone. And when that friendship ends unexpectedly, it can cause a multitude of issues in the future with how you trust and open up to people…”
His ramblings weren’t all that comforting, but just hearing him speak made you start to feel better. Of course he would attempt to make things better by spouting facts that one hundred percent would make anyone else annoyed at him. You snuggle into his arms, nodding your head to show that you’re listening in between sobs. “S-so how long until I s-stop feeling like my h-heart is broken?” You ask. It did somehow feel like being broken up with, or having someone die.
“Well, most grief experts think that a year is a good estimate on how long it takes to get used to the loss of someone major in your life…”
“A year?” You whine, letting your head tilt backwards dramatically. “That’s too long!” It’s kind of a joke, the way you say it. But the way he looks at you lets you know that he knows you’re being somewhat serious.
“She was your best friend…of course it’s going to take some time to get used to not talking to her…however long you take to grieve is how long it’s going to take. It’s not a complete science.”
You nod, and hide your face in his chest. While you still felt like the Earth was ending, maybe it’s not ending right this second anymore.
Ancestral Chapter 21
Probably the last one for this month, if not this year. Written for ectober day 27: circus gothica (yes, I am behind).
.
Somehow, Danny wasn’t even surprised at this point.
"Yeah, I, um.  I met the guy, once?"
"Sorry?" said Gwensyvyr.
At the same time, Jazz asked, "Who?"
"Pariah Dark," said Danny.
"He is supposed to be sealed."  Gwensyvyr's form briefly flickered back to her battle regalia.  This close, Danny could see that each of her braids had a spiked chain woven into it, starting low enough down that the spikes would bounce off the back of her armor, not the back of her head.
"He was," Danny hastened to reassure her.  "He is.  He just.  Got out for a little bit.  Last year."
Gwensyvyr leaned back, her elbow phasing slightly through the chair.  She covered her mouth with her opposite hand.  "It seems my suspicions might not be as far-fetched as I thought before.  If he was out at all, they might have–" She stopped.  "You still need to know the whole story."
Matthew's phone began to tweedle.  He snatched it up with a look of panic on his face.  "Sorry!  I need to take–" The panic transformed into a kind of exhausted horror as he stared at the phone.  "Does our honored ancestor know about phones?  I mean…"  He looked back and forth between Danny and the phone, which was still ringing.
"She knows about phones," said Danny, unsure whether to be amused or not.
Matthew seemed to take this as permission, because he answered the phone.  “Yes, did you find it?”  He was silent for a moment.  “No?  Do you know what happened?  Could he have moved it to some other spot?  No, no, I understand.  If possible, please keep looking.  It’s very important.  Goodbye.”  He put down the phone.  “That was Aldryk Wylfred, his father was one of grandfather’s close friends.  He’d been named a Knight of the Key, and given one of the Great Gate Keys to safeguard…  His key is missing.  I’m waiting on the other Knights of the Keys.”
“I had hoped it was not so.”
“Is… no one going to ask why Danny knows someone that Queen Gwensyvyr fought?” asked Leo.  “Or how?”
“Well, he was a ghost at the time,” said Danny.  “But we really ought to…”  He waved at Gwensyvyr.  “Listen.  And stuff.”
Yeah, he wasn’t going to be able to get away with that for much longer.
“Thank you,” said Gwensyvyr.  "But if you met Pariah Dark, you know what he became."
"King of Ghosts."
"He thought of himself that way, yes," said Gwensyvyr.  "It is not something Artyr and I considered, when we killed him.  Nor did any of the ghosts and spirits who haunted him and wanted him dead as badly as we did."
“His name really was Arthur, then,” said Lewis, who had taken out a notebook at some point.  "Your husband."
“In his birthplace, perhaps.  He was named after a famed king of that land, long dead, as I understand it, then and now.  It has made our respective legends rather confused, at times.
"With me, he was always Artyr.  He was trained as a blacksmith, which was why they kept him.  Such skills are valuable still, as you well know.”  She nodded to the ritual knives many of them had set on the table, and then again to the knives Irene had set the table with.  "He made the very first of those.  To kill Pariah."
"Why?" asked Danny.  "Why did you need that?  Wasn't he human, then?"
Gwensyvyr shook her head.  "Not entirely," she said.  "Not anymore.  He had his men desecrate the pool.  Mine was not the only blood spilled in it that day, and they did more than that.  They threw trash into it.  They blocked off the spring.  They did things in it too foul to speak of.  They cut down the tree and burned it.  But not before Pariah and his sons ate every single apple that grew on it that year."
"They were syvyrys," said Danny.  "That's why you needed a knife that could cut a ghost."
"Not like I was and not like you are, but, yes.  They had already had some measure of magic to them - that is how they cut down the nine of us priestesses.  Numbers alone did not do that.  But the apples gave them terrible power.
"They took me and the others they had chosen as slaves - beautiful girls and men with valuable skills, for the most part - back to their homeland.  The islands were not the only place he had taken slaves from, though they were always quite careful not to ever take so many as to be outnumbered.  So, there, I met Artyr.  There, we plotted.  There, I came into my powers.  There, I killed Pariah Dark.
"But to my continuing regret, I did not kill his sons."
"You think they have something to do with all this," said Matthew.
"Or their descendants," said Gwensyvyr.  "They are the only syvyrys I ever knew of who could use blood blossoms like that.  They were always doing some new, terrible thing.  We had more spirits on our side than they did, even with their ridiculous cult, so they spent much of their time making new weapons against them.  They had ways to keep themselves and their spirits safe from blood blossoms that we never learned.  They had ways to imbue objects with their powers.  At one point, they used some alchemy to make this sphere of red glass that could control most ghosts and even tugged on my mind…"  She trailed off.  "You've encountered that, too, haven't you?"
Danny squirmed.  "Maybe."
"How?" asked Gwensyvyr.  "Why?"
"It was–" He looked at the rest of his family.  "It was– This crazy circus ringmaster had it and was using it to make ghosts rob banks and jewelry stores for him."
"Are you talking about Freakshow?" asked Jazz.
"Freakshow?"
"His real name was Frederick Isaac Showenhower," offered Jazz.  "At least, that was his pen name."
"Amazing," said Gwensyvyr.  “We ought to sit down and talk about all of the history you managed to run into despite living an ocean away and under a different name.  But– Showenhower.  That has a German root, doesn’t it?  There was some suspicion that the younger son had fled to that area after betraying his brothers…  I’m getting ahead of myself.
“While Artyr and I worked at cleansing the sacred pool, reviving the tree, and healing the other damage done by Pariah’s attack, Pariah’s sons built up a cult around their father’s ghost.  A group of fanatics that stayed loyal even in death.
“They attacked Avlynys again when I was pregnant with my second daughter, seeking revenge and the power of the sacred pool.  Imagine for a moment, such a battle between syvyrys and spirits.  The sky was shattered with lightning, the air green with power.  Trees uprooted themselves to take part in the fighting.  The dead sacrificed themselves to take up their buried corpses.  I myself fought Pariah in his glory, bolstered by prayers and sacrifice, wearing a crown of fire and a ring forged from the souls of a hundred berserkers.  I banished him through the pond, whose door had been stuck open since it drank of my blood.
“It broke the ground beneath the pond and spring, and the spring sank deep underground where, to the best of my knowledge, it still rests.”
“That’s the portal in Andyr?” asked Danny.  “Just checking to make sure.”
“The pond, yes,” said Gwensyvyr.  “Kyr Argyn was built on the rift - we also used it as a silver mine for a while.  Very useful, for a newly-formed country.”  Her lips twitched up.  “Artyr also enjoyed the chance to learn silversmithing.  I do appreciate your attempts to get back the Kyp Styrryse, Lwys.  It took him a hundred years to get that good.”  She made a face.  “It was also a great aid when maintaining the pool.  Having it again would be very good.”
“Oh,” said Lewis.  “I, well, I’m working on it.  But– A hundred years?”
“Artyr died in that battle, but he did not leave.  We had three more children, after, though they were… strange.  Even now, he has not left, though he sleeps with many of the other spirits of this land.
“After we had driven off Pariah’s sons, we found the pool again.  It took time and a great deal of effort even with magic, and once we did, we were determined that no one should use it for evil ever again, and that even if all of us should die - me, and my children, who numbered three, only, at the time, and my closest friends - it should be safe.  But we could not simply bury it and leave it.  It was not yet clean and still too powerful.  So, we made nine Great Gates and nine Great Gate Keys, to guard all the paths that could reach it.  We pledged our family to the cause of safeguarding it and tending it, and we named ourselves after those gates, those doors, so we would not forget.”
Gwensyvyr paused significantly.
“We’ve done that, haven’t we?” asked Matthew.  “Even before Uncle Leon died.”
“It was a good while before that, too, to be fair,” said Gwensyvyr.  “In truth, I think it started as early as my great-grandchildren’s time.  A hundred years of fighting with the sons and grandsons of Pariah…”  She trailed off and shook her head.  “Alys wanted peace, and thought that both sides were worn down enough that she could get it.  She married her daughter, her only child, to one of Pariah’s scions.  But Kythrin chose never to have access to the sacred pool, or take up her duties to it, and so never to become queen herself.  The throne and its duties went to her cousin, and her husband killed her and took their children to Britain, where he made a pest of himself for the rest of his natural life, despite efforts to end it prematurely.
“One of the children came back.  We were overjoyed, but…”  Gwensyvyr’s face soured.  “Once welcomed, they used the pool to try and call up Pariah once more.
“That is when the pool and the journey andyr Kyr Argyn became so entwined with the succession.  Before that, we had helpers, who came freely.  They were not the priestesses of old, but they had some knowledge, and it made the burden easier for the family.  After… we did not trust so easily.
“Later, many years on, Queen Arynryd saw the danger in this and founded the School of Heroes in an attempt to gather those that could be trusted.  That was the original point of it - not to be a pre-approved pool of heroic suitors to pick from to prevent inbreeding in the royal line.”  She rolled her eyes as a faint susurrus of ohs rose up around the table.  “Although, I will grant that it has been useful for that, on occasion.”
Gwensyvyr shook her head.  “After that incident, though, many of us were worried that Pariah might return, so I and some others went through the pool, and directly into a war.  I am not sure how long it lasted.  Time was strange, there, in the otherworld.  But it was Pariah and his fanatics against all other spirits, and we felt that, as his old enemies, we must join in.
“When Pariah was sealed, we returned, but we found that more than a generation had passed, and Pariah’s brood had made war on us again, and that they had even roused the Normans to do the same.  A whole…”  She paused, looking away.  “While we were gone, a whole branch of the family had been wiped out.  Only the youngest, one too young to go to war, survived.  And though King Ydmynd completed the trials, and as an adult, with a child just born, he decreed restrictions, and that no one should go into Andyr or to the pools except for the Trials.”
Gwensyvyr stared at the table.  “I did not intervene.  I thought it would be enough, as people had children, and those children wanted to take up the family task.  I thought the pool healed enough, and the gates strong enough.  It was not Ydmynd’s fault, mind.  He was young, and he’d had a harrowing time of the trials, with so many of us gone to fight Pariah in the beyond, and all his family dead.”
She paused again, giving Danny time to catch up and think about what that must have felt like, for Edmund.  To think about how every day they seemed to be getting closer to that point themselves.
“There were some benefits to the developments as well.  The decrees were not because of fear, only,” said Gwensyvyr, softly.  “Athlyng Elysyvyt was kidnapped young and educated by the Danes, who wanted to put her on the throne, but without the Trials, she had no claim to it.  We avoided long periods of regency, and the crises that come with child monarchs.  A few times, Pariah’s living fanatics were caught trying to get into Andyr.
“Then, too, not everyone followed King Ydmynd’s decrees, especially after he, in turn, died.  There were strong syvyrys in those years, too.  Even so… even so, we thought it might be best to let the living find their own way, in most cases.  There is a reason I did not stay queen after my death, though I was, clearly, still there and still visible, as magic had suffused Avlynys through the sacred pool far more in those days than it does now.
“There were things to do, regardless.  Even in death, even with the pool behind the Great Gates, we still had to protect the island and the pool from enemies.  And…”  She sighed.  “When there were no more enemies, and we found ourselves growing weary, many of us chose to rest.  Even I cannot be everywhere at once.  I often chose to shadow my family, rather than any greater purpose and as time passed, and the pool wasn’t tended to, its power faded.  I thought that a good thing, that it was finally returning to how it used to be before my first death, but lately we find we cannot even go there, and…  Now we are here.  A thousand years of attrition and inattention later, we are here.”
“And… that’s it?” asked Danny.
Gwensyvyr spread her hands out.  “I am not going to attempt to recount the entire millennia, much less the portions of it that are in living memory.  Although maybe I should.  I always thought the nationalist movement had a little too much in common with some of the things Pariah’s fanatics got up to.”  She tapped her lips.  “And the Germans sent us a remarkable number of curses during the second of the Great Wars, despite how terrible they were at it, and despite hardly anyone being able to do that at all in the twentieth century.”
“We expelled the nationalist movement.  Their whole organization was outlawed, after the Brygytyn attacks.”
“Matthew, you know as well as I that you never entirely get rid of people like that.”
Iris raised a hand.  “So, our consensus here is that our premier pharmaceutical institution is run by deranged cultists who specifically hate our family for killing their, what, their god?  And they might be Nazis on top of that?”
“Not Nazis,” said George.  “Those were specifically German nationalists.”
“There are American Nazis, too,” pointed out Iris.
“I wouldn’t call it a consensus,” said Gwensyvyr.  “But they must, at least, be involved, and I find the timing suspicious, if he was out of that sarcophagus for any length of time.  I would say that the spirit who attacked just now was one of them, likely being punished for failing to kill you earlier, Matthew.”
“So, what do we do?” asked Danny.  He was, personally, all for going out and beating up whoever was behind all this, but he didn’t know who was behind all this.
“The Trials,” said Matthew.  “If we did them, if we got rid of whatever was blocking you, could you…  How many of our ancestors are here, awake?  Could you help?”
Gwensyvyr smiled, teeth sharp, ghostly fangs.  “We would like nothing better.”
familia II Irene Paredes/Barça Femeni x Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 1991
a/n: based off this lovely request here. Thank you for sending us so many great requests !
You loved training camps with the FC Barcelona. They were always loads of fun. The players seemed happy and the weather was great. But this time, you were also painfully reminded how exhausting camp life could be. As the team doctor, you had to be there for their medical needs at all times and the past few days, the players had kept you quite busy. So busy, in fact, that you barely had time for your girlfriend.
In a quiet moment during your lunch break, your girlfriend snaked her arm around your waist and whispered into your ear: “Let’s do something tonight. Only us two.“
There was something impatient in her eyes as you turned towards her. You were glad to hear that she missed your alone-time as much as you did.
“Yes, that sounds great.“, you smiled.
The two of you did not even have the time for a quick kiss as another stumbled into the treatment room.
Patri stopped right in front of you and heaved an annoyed sigh: “Hey, Doc. We need an ice pack.“
“An ice pack? Patri, tell me quickly what happened.“, you urged her sternly.
As a response, the young midfielder rolled her eyes: “Claudias finger got trapped in the door. Nothing happened but she is pouting.“
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that.“, you promised and took an ice pack out of the freezer.
“Thanks.“, Patri said while leading you and Irene to the injured player.
Claudia stood in front of the dressing room, holding her finger. Her brows were furrowed and for some reason, she reminded you of an oversized toddler.
“Claudia. I heard about the accident with your finger.“, you started and held out your hand so she would show you her finger.
While you examined her hand, she complained: “That was Patris fault.“
The older player took a deep breath in an attempt to protest but one look from Irene made her close her mouth immediately.
Her finger seemed fine but still, you could not stop yourself from hugging her: “Oh, Claudia. Do you need some ice?“
She nodded, her big blue eyes widened: “Yes.“
You handed her the ice pack: “You’re welcome.“
“I told you it wasn’t that bad.“, Patri scoffed, slightly annoyed.
“It’ll be alright.“, you promised them both before the two players disappeared into the dressing room.
Irene should have followed but instead her arms wrapped around your body once again. With a fond smile, she said: “Can’t wait for tonight.“
“Me neither.“, you replied happily but someone else quickly caught your attention.
Mapi was on the pitch and tried to do some tricks with the football. One of her knees was still in a brace after her meniscus injury.
Your heart sank for a moment, watching her rather reckless moves: “Mapi, be careful!“
“I’m fine.“, she answered nonchalantly, keeping her focus on the ball.
“Think of your knee, Maria!“, you yelled back at her.
As you had suspected, this got her attention. She stopped and grimaced at you: “Maria?!“
“So, you know I’m serious about it.”, you crossed your arms in front of your chest.
With a smirk on her face the defender tried to reassure you:” Calm down, I’m fine.”
“Please be careful with your knee, okay? It needs a bit more resting time to properly heal.”, you sighed.
She couldn’t help but to roll her eyes at your protectiveness:” Yeah, mum.”
“Don’t mum me, Maria. We’re only two years apart!”, you reminded her.
“Then stop acting like a mum.”, Mapi countered.
Quickly you corrected the football player: “I’m not, it’s my advice to you as a doctor.”
“Sure, mum.”, Mapi responded in a teasingly tone.
You groaned and demanded from her to stop it.
Grinning Irene who you haven’t noticed while having your talk with the younger player joined the conversation:” But our children would behave better.”
“Lies. They would do the same.”, the heavily tattooed Spaniard disagreed.
“I strongly believe they wouldn’t be as annoying.”, you joked as you exchanged knowingly looks with your girlfriend. You were able to communicate with each other without words which was helpful on and off the pitch.
The peaceful moment between you two was interrupted once again by a player, this time it was Mapi: “Yeah, they would.”
Afterwards she promised to be more careful with her knee. You knew how much you asked of her, as an athlete all they want to do is play with a ball at their feet. Every injury was a reminder that their time as football players was short and could end at any moment.
A bit later the rest of her teammates arrived in their training clothes. Watching Keira, you gasped out loud:” Oh my god, Keira. Have you forgot your sunscreen again?”
“Why? What do you mean?”, Keira frowned at you.
Frustratedly you pointed to the sky, the sun was still intense even in the afternoon:” It’s so sunny outside, you need to protect your skin.”
“Your nose is already getting sunburned.” Lucy stated matter-of-factly.
“You English always underestimate the sun here.”, you chuckled before handing Keira the sunscreen which has been in your bag for emergency cases like this.
The dark-haired defender who was half Portuguese protested smiling:” Hey, leave me out of this.”
“You need that sun protection too, Lucia.”, you remarked.
“Here, take it before you get in trouble.”, Keira whispered.
“Ugh fine.”, the older of the English players mumbled.
Satisfied you turned around only to be face to face to Barcelona’s captain who smirked at you:” Happy madre happy life.”
“Alexia not you too.”
“Just here to steal your girlfriend for the gym session.”, she winked at you.
“Alright, I’ll see you both at dinner. Time for me to look at the injured players.”, you announced.
With a warm smile Irene said:” Have fun.”
“You too.”, you answered. Although fun was a difficult wish to fulfil considering you had to take care of the women who were currently out of the game and they needed  extra care physically as well as mentally.
“Come on, Irene, you need to work on your muscles!“, Alexia teased as they walked side by side to the gym.
Irenes jaw dropped open: “Excuse me?!“
Alexia grinned back at her: “You heard me.“
“Go work on your knee instead.“, Irene laughed and playfully pushed her teammate in the direction of the gym doors.
Alexia rolled her eyes: “You sound like your girlfriend.“
“Someone has to tell you.“, Irene shrugged while starting with her workout plan under the supervision of one of the physios.
Her teammate followed suit: “Yeah, I know.“
The two football players worked in silence for a while until Alexia gave Irene an inquisitive look: “Were you serious about the children earlier?“
Surprised by the question, Irene paused her exercise and laughed: “About actual children? We already have you.“
“And?“, Alexia shrugged.
The defender continued to feign cluelessness: “And what?“
“Just letting you know that we’d be there for you two when you decide to have actual children.“
“Thanks. We appreciate that.“, Irene replied casually.
Alexia just smiled knowingly and focused on her workout again: “You’re welcome.“
Dinner was one of the few regular moments in camp when you and Irene had some time for each other. Her hair was still damp from the shower when she sat down next to you. She had the same satisfied expression her face that she always had after a good workout.
“Hi, how was your gym session?“, you greeted her while filling her glass with water, making sure she was adequately hydrated.
Irene gratefully took a sip before answering: “Good, really. But Ale was weird.“
“Weirder than usual?“
She softly chuckled: “Yes.“
“What did she do?“, you asked curiously.
Irene lowered her voice so the other players on your table would not hear her: “She said something about supporting us if we’d actually wanted to have children one day.“
“Wait, that doesn’t sound like Ale at all.“, you joked.
“No, it doesn’t.“
“Strange.“, you commented. Subconsciously, you looked at Alexia on the neighbouring table. A tablet was propped up in front of her while she ate. You assumed that she once again looked at video footage of games and training sessions. “Ale?“
She looked up in surprise: “Huh?“
“It’s not a match day tomorrow. Take a break, you don’t need to overwork yourself.“, you gently reminded her.
“I’m not.“, she protested, her eyes darting back to the screen.
You raised an eyebrow: “Promise?“
She gave a you a small smile: “Promise.“
“Okay.“, you sighed and turned back to your dinner.
Irenes elbow bumped against yours just as you were about to finish eating. She pointed outside the dining room window: “Y/n, want to go to the beach now? The sun is about to set.“
You carefully put your fork down and again glanced over to Alexia who was still focused on her screen: “Sure.“
“Come on, she’ll be fine.“, Irene smiled comforting at you.
After one last look at the captain, you admitted:” You’re right.”
With that said your girlfriend stood up, holding her hand out for you take it:” Let’s go.”
“Coming.”, you reassured her.
Silently you walked to the beach, enjoying each other’s company after a long workday. The sand was still warm underneath your feet even though the sun was about to set. The sky was pink and purple shaded.
Irene was the first to speak again:” It’s nice here.”
“I agree, also the calmness feels nice after such an eventful day.”, you replied, admiring the scenery in front of you.
The defender smirked at you:” Quite busy with our children, right?”
“Yeah, but I’d not change a thing about it. I love them.”, you confessed smiling fondly while thinking about the players.
“Me too. Mostly.”, she responded.
Amused you lifted an eyebrow:” Mostly?”
“They can be annoying.”, Irene shrugged her shoulders.
Slowly you agreed:” Yes, sometimes.”
“But I’d not swap them for anything else.”, your girlfriend replied in an honest tone.
Thoughtfully you nodded to her remark:” Me neither, they are family.”
“They are.”
As the waves crashed to the shore your lips touched for a heartfelt kiss. Afterwards you two still leaned your foreheads together, eyes closed, enjoying the moment.
“If we ever have real children, we’re well prepared.”, Irene whispered.
Hearing her saying this out loud made you yearn for a family of your own:” Yes, they would welcome them in immediately, I’ve no doubt about that.”
“I’m sure.”, she sounded sincere.
“Are you thinking about starting to try for children?”, you cautiously asked her.
Nervously the defender licked her lips:” I mean it’s a nice thought to have children one day.” For a moment Irene paused before adding, would you want that too?”
“I do, yes.”
Your girlfriends face lit up with giddy excitement:” So we’re trying it?”
“Yeah, we’ll.” Suddenly you were interrupted by her teammates who were running towards you.
“What?”, startled Irene looked at them.
Equally confused you wanted to know from the other women:” Girls, what’s going on?”
“It’s time to celebrate.”, Patri declared grinning.
Curiously you continued: “To celebrate, what?”
“Just to celebrate.”, Alexia waved it off beaming.
Baffled Irene turned to the midfielder who she has been friends with for a very long time:” Ale, were you guys listening to us the whole time?!”
“Maybe.”, she answered with an innocent smile.”
“So, yes. God that’s so embarrassing.”, you groaned.
Empathically Marta padded your shoulders:” We especially loved the family part.”
“Agreed.”, Alexia said.
“It’s simply the truth.”, you told them, your cheeks burning red.
“Guys that was private.”, Irene huffed at her teammates.
This made Mapi roll her eyes:” Oh please, nothing stays private during training camp.”
“Maybe we hate you now.”, you teased her.
“No, you love us.”, Patri shook her head.
With a sigh you gave in:” Yeah, fine, we do.”
Because those women were more to you than just people you worked with, they were family.
Is Irene a sub or dom
OH IRENE MY LOVE!!! A few people also asked the same question, so I’ll answer all of it here and I’m sorry it’s a long-ish one.
I think Irene is mostly a sub! She seems to be the type to be able to think for everyone else but herself :( so it’s kinda frustrating for her bc all she wants is someone to decide for her for once, someone who can take the weight off her shoulders for a while.
At first, she’s too proud to admit that her fingers and toys aren’t enough to satisfy her, that she needs you to take care of her. If she’s really pent up, she’d probably get a bit bratty with you! Would say “make me” when you ask her to do anything, makes sarcastic jokes and sticks her tongue out at you, and tries overpowering you in a playfight although she knows it’s a losing battle. It’s her own cute way of telling you she wants you and your dominance so bad! Loves when you lay her across your lap for spanks and edge her pretty cunt till she’s on the brink of tears! Blushes intensely when you tell her, “act like a slut and you’ll get fucked like a slut” and when she’s overstimulated, “c’mon baby, you wanted this right? so take it”. (Has a huge degradation and praise kink.)
She’s a sucker for missionary too bc she wants to see how using her makes you feel good and feels so secure having your hands on her waist to hold her as you fuck her with your strap. Also, a classic romantic at heart too. Sometimes she’ll push you onto the closest chair and straddle a leg just to grind herself on you, wraps her arms around your neck and buries her face into your neck whining as she tells you she loves you so much :( Eating her out would be so wholesome too, she’d probably be at her peak sub space during this since she feels so vulnerable spreading her legs and letting you experience her this closely. Would be the type to hold your head or hands to ground herself as she tries to hold back her whiny moans (I’m sorry I just think she’s so whiny as a sub) , her back would arch so prettily for you, and blushes intensely when you praise how good she tastes. She’d probably admire the hickeys you left on her thighs the next morning and loves how they contrast her fair skin. And always the best aftercare!
Not gonna lie, I can’t see her as fully dominant 😭 but that doesn’t mean I’m against it! I’d love to explore her dominant personality too! She strikes me as the type to edge the fuck out of her partner, wanting to see them lose their minds in a way that no one else but her can see! Maybe not so much into heavy degrading, but loves spoiling you with kisses, praises, and maybe new clothes, jewelry, you know, kinda giving Mr. Grey but just the materialistic stuff lmao. Would lowkey be possessive too, leaves marks all over you and loves seeing you struggle to cover them up. Omg dom Irene does things to me 😣
UGHHH I’m a sucker for Irene and I’m sorry this took me a while. Thank you to everyone who requested this! I had tons of fun writing it!
