How What if...Zombies Spidey gets to the DCU
Here's the second part of this post
This is about how Zombie!Peter (And possibly others) got to the DCU. the third part will be the HC on what he is going to be doing overther, but for now wh need to know how he got there
Also,I accidentally uploaded my original draft for this but it wasn't finished so I had to delete it so I lost all of that writing TnT
-Starting this off with more timeline explanations! Let's goooooooo
Ok so anything that happens on Earth has absolutely no effect on the rest of the universe, that means that all of the guardian movies and Thor Ragnarok happens when they originally did in the OG timeline.
"But Thor and Loki met Strange 3 days before Infinity war" SHhhhhhh, trust and listen. Since Loki really didn't want to deal with his dad, Instead of just sending him to Earth, She sends him to a different reality Earth. How? But studying the space stone of course. Not to mention he spent a good while researching and studying the aether when he was king and before they sent it to the collector. With this in mind, Loki taught himself how to access and travel to different realities (Remember this)
That means that Bruce B. gets back on Earth at the same time he did in the original, in 2018. Infinity war takes place in about a day or so and seeing as Thanos is on Earth by the end of the episode, let's say that the episode takes place over a time period of about 24-48 hours. A weekend if you will.
That, adding onto the fact I made the zombie apocalypse 7-8 months long instead of 1 month changes a few things timeline wise. Not only does it push Ant-Man & The Wasp back many months, It also means that there's a high chance Bucky's brainwashing isn't 100% gone, and that the apocalypse started around a year or so after Homecoming.
Do with that info as you please :D
-What is happening without space friends? Well...
Loki wasnt Fucking Stupid and died like and idiot here!
(Your the god of fucking mischief and yet the only thing you can think to do is a knife?!? A fucking Knife? Not even to the back as has been stated you have done in your own goddamn show, But right in the face where he can very clearly see it you short dumbass!)
N E Ways- Loki did something, yk, smart and joined up with Thanos cause like, Dude the guy was winning! Loki was gonna play a long game and work with him again to get his opening. . .Then they killed his fucking brother! Yeah this has not been a good day for him- He is sent to stalk Earth with the other dudes but he decides to stay on the ship and
Loki looking down at Earth though the ship's surveillance systems: WTF did the mortals do!?!?
Alien helper Loki asked for and somehow got: Would you like to go down there sir?
Loki getting comfortable and changing his clothes into something cozy after a very traumatic day: Norse no, Get me a bigger monitor and some food, I wanna see where this goes.
And then Loki just watches like the agent of chaos he is. (Remember this too)
What about Thor? Well Thor doesn't really die, Loki just sees the explosion of the ship and just assumes. He still teams up with half the guardians and everything still happens like the movie for him until he gets to Wakanda.
AND OH BOY LET ME TALK ABOUT WAKANDA
(The Guardians? Canon. Literally the only difference could be that maybe Peter Q. and Co. die immediately on Titan without the space roadtrip trio.)
-Wakanda? Gone
Okoye Was sent to America and everything went to hell lol.
No but Seriously, The King was gone, Okoye went to look for him, and Wakanda was left pretty defenseless. I say that the country was already compromised before she left, but it only started causing trouble after she left, so she has no clue what happened. the important thing isn't Okoye though, no the important thing is Thor. More specifically, Thor, Rocket and Groot when they get there. I can see 2 things happening.
1-they get infected immediately and all of a sudden you get a Zombified God with an axe walking around with a tree and a raccoon. All there while his brother is watching the man, he thought was dead, truly die. ( he gets the feeling that this is Karma) Or,
2- They fight the Zombies thinking they are part of Thanoses army like total badasses, not knowing what they are fighting or getting infected. All while Loki I absolutely shell shocked watching this from a 5th monster mouth agape. (Ones watching visions base with the king and witch, Twos watching the group trying to get to the base, Threes watching some old guy sitting in a park absolutely unbothered, And Forths could be the other dead people from the last post, idk, the separate continuity for the AU gets a mention lol)}
Loki in ver. 1: Absolute depression
Loki in ver. 2: Slacked jawed as he watches his brother be a complete dumbass
-So, How did they he skip dimension?
Well everything from the episode happens the same. Maybe a bit more emotional because they are closer, but every one we see die, Dies. Why? Uhh duh, angst and plot potential, why else?
and its, Everyone one we see die. Let me explain. Anyone we see get turned or killed on screen, It's death. If a character dies off screen but the situation is bad and impossible for said person to get out of, it's death. BUT, if a character is killed off screen but theoretically they could escape, they can live.
Ex For this rule: Happy is hit by a speeding car off screen that implies death= Death, Reason? He's a normal dude T'Challa is hit by a speeding car off screen that implies death= Can Live, Reason? He has the powers of the Black Panther
You Got That? cool. with that in mind, and what I can remember atm, this is the list of people who live
Peter P.- Scott L.- King T'Challa.- Bruce B.- Bucky B.- Rocket R.- Groot-Thor- Loki. Igs, if you want the guys from the more hero’s Idea to be here then you can add them ig. That's the list of survivor a
(Why aren't there more women? Idk, take it up with Disney for killing all of them)
Why these guys? Simple. Cause they all are on Earth
-Loki, being a god, takes a look at Zombie Thanos and thinks "Oh no...Oh Hellas no" And decides to do something about it.
Seriously, You expect me to believe that anything other stone then the space and reality one can send them to another reality? No, I don't think so. And who did I say studied and used these stones before? hmmm? So my proposition for you today is simple. take our god Loki with his obsession with the space stone and have him cast a spell to have every living being on the planet left, come with him to whatever other reality he's taking them to. and thus the crossover commences.
-Peter and the others are now screwed.
They all travel and end up at the same place they were in their original universe. (Omg I just realized Loki could end up at the watchtower lol)
They could be in different realities, but they all are in the same position they were before traveling
Peter: Is on plane before Dimension hopping
Peter: falling to his death after dimension hopping
Peter: Paink!
And then they get split up...hurray!
That's the end for this post. The other will be more focused on Peter But we needed This one as a way to get to the next world. Will I change some stuff? Sure, maybe later, But for now I'm pretty tired and I don't have much else to do at this point.
With that said, I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you think

idk if you watch mcu films but hear me out; avengers champion au
like infinity war and endgame happens (maybe thanos is Giovanni? Except he just wants to snap the population for funsies and to be evil and assert his dominance or something)
im thinking maybe alder, hau, and Wallace get snapped?
so basically geeta goes for the time stone, steven the mind stone, Leon and iris are a tag team for the mind and space stone (mostly so Leon doesn’t get lost + they get both stones at the same time), Lance gets the power stone and Cynthia and Diantha for the soul stone.
most of them don’t really have reasons for why they get assigned to that stone (except for geeta bc time stone and paldea’s thing was past/future).
Ok time for the big event. So the soul stone requires a sacrifice (someone you’re close to / love). So what I imagine is that Cyn and Dia are at Vormir and get told the whole “soul for a soul” thing, and are conflicted about it. Likely they fight, since neither wants to watch the other die. Eventually though, Diantha is the one who sacrifices herself (listen the fallen angel imagery was too good to pass up), and Cynthia has more trauma lol.
it’d also be painful for lance too, since in endgame the people going for the power stone and soul stone basically went together, dropped the power stone duo off at the location, then headed to the soul stone. Lance is the power stone guy. So he was the last one to see Diantha alive other than Cynthia.
idk much abt Avengers I'm sorry but I know enough and like that last bit hurt me man c'mon I just finished my exams I deserve waffles with this at least😭🤣
But ough
OUGHBCKSHXMXBXND
wait no cause like, what happens next tho fucking imagine they all meet up again and they're wondering where Diantha is and Cynthia just fucking breaks and it causes a rift between her and Lance and he's there low-key going batshit cause what the fuck does Cynthia mean Diantha sacrificed herself
Pls imagine Geeta's reaction😭😭 her moirails is fucking dead and she doesn't know who to blame and she's just fucking vibing she doesn't know how to function properly na she's still processing that her best friend is dead and your honour I am so not okay thinking abt it o w o
But ough cjxnxnd that got me hooked tho if you wanna share more stuff feel free to send another ask abt this hahah

I think with vol 1 Gamora we see her have a slow transition from beginning to end of the film and she softens over time. She had a plan in place to leave Thanos and was ready to risk distancing herself from him. She goes from quick to anger and having almost no trust and fear of vulnerability to letting her guard down a little. We can see her nodding her head to Peter's music and offering him a gentle smile by the end. In vol 2 she's grown some more and is closer to the others and more open, but she still has rough spots and doesn't trust new people easily or read every emotional situation. Then of course by the end there's more growth and deeper relationships to the others. We get to see a solid arc of emotional and mental healing. We're allowed to understand the good and bad parts of her and to connect with her story. In Endgame 2014Gamora is just like vol 1 Gamora. We see how hard she can be but also that she cares and has a good heart. In vol 3 Gamora is very much like vol 1 Gamora only a bit rougher because she's a ravager now. But also she's basically vol 1 Gamora who didn't get to ease into changes. She was thrown into the future, found out she had been killed, was dealing with both 2018 and 2014 Nebula and had to then jump head first into a potentially universe ending battle against her abuser. If that had been me I would have had a nervous breakdown. There's so much that was going on and vol 3 never allows that to be explored. Her entire significant experiences in the future all happened between Endgame and vol 3 where people couldn't emotionally connect to it. The guardians aren't given space to sympathize with her and the audience is left with undefined backstory and no real plot for Gamora in the film.
Lots of people have been deliberating on 2014Gamora and I think the most simplistic answer is they never should have killed 2018Gamora. Especially with only one film left. The contrast between her death in Infinity War and how James Gunn has handled characters deaths with far more agency and dignity stands out a lot. But in vol 3 it's so much more in your face how Gamora was treated compared to the other characters. In Infinity War she dealt with Thanos mostly on her own, was emotionally abused and then just as she's telling her abuser what he's done to her isn't love the movie allows her experience to be silenced when Thanos throws her off the cliff and actually receives the soul stone. Afterwards we are never given a chance in any other movie or show with the guardians to see them all angry or sad about what happened. In vol 3 we see every member of the team openly distraught over Rocket's situation. When he faces his abusive past he's not alone. When he stands up to his abuser his feelings aren't shutdown and he gets to win.
I think vol 3 had a number of nice character moments for Gamora and I was particularly happy she got to stab the villain. There are many aspects to the writing and characterization that are great. But it's hard not to notice Gamora's treatment compared to all the other characters has been pretty awful since IW. I saw lots of people excusing what Thanos did to Gamora after Infinity War or saying she wasn't really abused because Thanos got the soul stone. I now see some of those same people talking about how Rocket's abuser was actually a bad person and what he did was unforgivable. That alone tells me Infinity War should never have happened. Nobody should have been left feeling Gamora deserved what happened or that it was justified. James Gunn has said he signed off on and was okay with how Infinity War went down and I try to respect that but I don't understand him signing off on the message Infinity War sent about Gamora's abuse compared to the message he put out about Rocket's abuser. I don't get allowing a prominent character who was on her way to easily having one of the strongest arcs in the mcu, ending the trilogy the least developed character with the least amount of relationships to a story that she helped shape.
Yes Yes Yes! Great write up anon.
I think there could have been more Gamora stuff in Vol. 3, but it clearly was meant to be a Rocket-centric movie and there was so much going on considering they had to fit in Adam as well, so more stuff with her would have taken away from all that from a writing perspective. Not that that's fair to her character at all, but story/time-wise and knowing that Rocket is Gunn's favorite and this was meant to be his movie (whereas the last one was a little more Gamora and Nebula heavy), it makes a lot of sense.
We also have to remember: the timing of the James Gunn drama may have affected this too. The first time we see the Guardians again being in Thor 4 where it's just supposed to be kinda goofy and short was not ideal. This movie is 3 years late, and there were some changes made to the script (not huge, but probably some side-plot Gamora and Adam related stuff because the movie was further up the timeline now).
One thing I liked in Vol. 3 is they kind of have a moment where they take a jab at the "magic cliff" and how it doesn't make sense. I also struggle with Gunn's decision to sign off on her death. He seems to care about these characters a lot, even if Gamora isn't maybe his favorite like Rocket. It makes me wonder how much say he actually had in all of it, and how much it was just reassuring the fans (I'm skeptical of statements like this having become a Supernatural fan since 2020 lmao). From a writing standpoint, I can see how "Gamora having a big emotional death and Peter fucking everything up" sounds appealing, especially since they were desperately trying to figure out how to incorporate the soul stone and give the movie emotional depth. The soul stone was originally supposed to be tied to Black Panther/Wakanda, but their director wanted the movie and T'Challa's powers to be rooted in Wakanda/Africa (the flowers) and not some weird space thing (which makes sense!). So they probably came up with the Vormir idea and approached Gunn with not a lot of options. If Gunn had been the sole writer of IW/Endgame, I'm sure that even if he still chose to kill Gamora, that the stuff after Gamora's death would have been handled a lot better (as we see with Rocket and his abuser in this film). It's clear that Gamora couldn't have been brought back though because that would have meant Natasha also would have needed to come back, and the Avengers people clearly wanted her to stay dead (and that's a whole other problem ugh). Gunn probably was given story points he had to work with in IW/Endgame and write dialogue for, which I feel like he did a decent job of (Gamora spoke her mind as much as the story allowed and tried to sacrifice herself).
A lot of people have pointed out that sexism probably has some to do with how Gamora has been treated too (like if she was a male lead would it have played out like this). And you know, I don't think James Gunn is purposely trying to be sexist, but the dude is flawed (and admits it) and his writing used to be more problematic than it is now. It's maybe still a blindspot for him.
I'm also potentially processing this all differently because I purposely spoiled myself on some Gamora details last weekend before going into the movie (yesterday) to prepare myself (because if not I can get wayyy too invested and it hurts a lot). So I've had some time to think about all of this at a meta-level before I saw the film. I think I'm generally happy with how it turned out considering what happened happened in IW and can't be changed now. I kind of liked that Gamora had all this growth in Vol. 2, idk what path she would have taken in Vol 3. Everyone had to go discover themselves at the end. Would Starmora have broken up then? Adding the new challenge of making it a different Gamora was kind of more compelling in some ways, although I absolutely hate that that meant she had to die to get there (maybe if it was the same Gamora with no memories that would have been interesting).
I'm also very used to filling in all the gaps of what isn't on screen because that's just how my fanfic brain works, and I feel like Gunn writes such strong characters that it's easy to imagine stuff offscreen (and maybe that's what he wants us to do). So like, just because some of the Gamora / Guardians mourning her stuff happened offscreen doesn't mean it didn't happen. Gunn would probably agree with that. It still sucks that we didn't get to see it though.

Did they watch the same movies as us..? 🤦‍♀️
First, how can they blame Tony for not picking up the phone? After all that happened in Civil War?
- tony found out that his parents were murdered, and saw them die on video in front of him.
- he found out that his friend in whom he trusted knew about it, didn't tell him, and continued to lie.
- he ended up being betean with such hatred that they almost killed him, when they were already the ones who had just hurt him.
- and they leave him alone there with a dysfunctional armor, physically and psychologically hurt.
Plus, Tony was obviously going to call, (otherwise why would he take the phone with him everywhere he went, even when he was just going for a jog with Pepper?)
He just took a few seconds before calling the man who broke him (and never even apologized) Because yes, feelings exist..
And another thing, when will they understand that Tony signed the Accords to protect people? It was requested by 117 countries. Tony listened to them, and understood them. (he didn't feel above them or above the laws, unlike team cap.)
He did what he had to do, even if he was not really happy about it either, to protect the population from collateral damage.
Tumblr media
And how can they compare Tony to Hydra.. If anyone here had anything to do with hydra, I'll just point out that Wanda actually joined them deliberately at one point. (not to mention that she also joined ultron and unleashed the hulk on a city..) And in order to "destroy", when Tony just did everything to "protect."
Finally.. when will they stop blaming his ego?? What ego? All I see is a broken man, who hates himself, blames himself for everything, and always puts others before himself without ever receiving anything in return.
Tumblr media
Since I saw a lot of these antis these days.. here is a little reminder that
Tony Stark is absolutly NOT a villain ⬇️
IRON MAN 1: the first thing he notices when he's captured by terrorists is that they have his weapons and the harm they can do with them. And he prefers to be tortured and die than to do what they want. When he return to the US after months of capture, the first thing he does is to announce that he shut down stark industries because it was more important for him than his health. Then he take responsabity for what Stane did, risks his life to save everyone, and says he's rather DIE than not do that. And, he sacrifice himself to prevent Stane from using his suit.
IRON MAN 2: his arc reactor kills him and using the suit accelerates his poisoning but he continues to help people. he's going to die but he thinks of others, he gives his company to pepper, his collections to kids, and organizes the stark expo, to help science one last time. he does everything to keep his armors and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. and at the end he goes at the expo with a new arc reactor and without a test. not knowing the risk. to get there faster and save everyone.
AVENGERS: he had been rejected from the avengers project but when the shield needs him he comes to help. (and he researches their purpose to make sure he's not helping the wrong people.) + he's the one who doesn't treat banner like a monster when everyone else did. he sacrifices himself again, sending the nuke into the wormhole. and the first thing he does after the battle of NY, is to transform his tower into the Avengers tower (with personalized floors for each of them) to give them a home and a family, and create organizations to protect people.
IRON MAN 3: he saw the aliens and he knows something is going to happen. he sacrifices his health, spending day and night without sleep, making new suits, to protect his loved ones and everyone. when his house exploded he save pepper and tells her to save maya instead of him. he has ptsd, anxiety attacks, nightmares, but never stops fighting, and when the mandarin arrives he goes to stop him. + he doesn't hesitate to remove his arc reactor and suffers to save the kid who bullied harley.
AVENGERS 2: wanda shows him a traumatic vision, his biggest fear, all his fiends dead. he knows that they will not be strong enough alone and wants to stop that from coming true, so he creates ultron/vision. he blame himself and always think he didn't do enough. he says that is the avengers die, he'd rather die with them. he couldn't bear to outlive them, and he sacrifices himself again in sokovia by going under the flying city and blowing it up.
CIVIL WAR: he listens to the 117 countries, he want everyone to be safe and sign the accords to prevent collateral damage. he save wanda bucky steve from jail, offer medical care for bucky and protect wanda from blame. (and he asks vision to stay with her because he knows she likes him). he does everything to avoid the fights and keep everyone together. he's injured, rhodey is paralized, they all betrayed him, but he still goes to help steve. and even after all that he continues to create new things for them, to protect them..
HOMECOMING: the first thing he does after he gets back from siberia, after all the trauma he's been through, is to take peter home. (peter was already spiderman and tony just gave him more protection with a new suit.) he watches over him, protects him, supports him. he asks him to stay away from danger, he takes care of him like his dad never did for him, he made everything he might need in his suit from his own experience, he teaches him to take responsibility. he doesn't want him to go through the same suffering he went through
INFINITY WAR: he did everything to protect everyone, even if they never listen and blamed him. during 6 years he constantly fears an attack, he carries steve's phone everywhere, he made new armors and even implanted a new arc reactor in his skin. he just wanted to live with pepper but when thanos arrives, he goes into space, alone, to face his biggest fear. he face him with his bare hand and he sacrifice himself, begging strange to let him die and not to give the stone for him.
ENDGAME: he's afraid to lose his family and he didn't want to die, but he's still going to help the avengers. even when he finally had a reason to live, when he has a home, a wife, daughter, that he was so close from happiness, he sacrifices all this for a world that doesn't even love him.
tony always did everything for the avengers, he always treated them like family, he made them equipment and took care of them, he did everything to keep them together.. even if they are not there for him, he's always there for them.
Tumblr media
he's always full of attention for everyone like making them smoothies after battle, or remembers little details about them. he pays attention to the feelings of everyone and helps and comfort them. he always makes sure that they are okay.
Tumblr media
he takes responsability for everything, creates organizations and the iron legion, pays to help repair the damage, gives scholarships, always takes care of people during battle, he evacuates the places, and when there's no time he keeps the danger away by drawing it towards himself.
Tumblr media
he's always the one who suffers the most, he has been through the worst traumas but never stop. his priority has always been others. he sacrificed everything, his physical and mental health, his life and his happiness. always ready to risk his life, suffer and die to save everyone.
Tumblr media
how can some people be so wrong about him.. how can they hate the man who does everything for his friends, his family.. who sacrifices everything for them and for absolutely everyone..?
this man has the biggest heart and the best soul 💖💖

ScreenRant Misinterpreting and Not Understanding Loki as a Character.
Disclaimer: I really do not like ScreenRant. This just happened to catch my eye. If you like ScreenRant skip this.
10/10
"Unrealistic Survival"
During the final moments of Thor: The Dark World, Loki became impaled and passed away in the strong arms of loving brother Thor. Dead? Not really. He was back in Thor: Ragnarok. Apparently, that was just one of Loki's holograms and the villain himself was very much okay. However, recent history in the MCU proves that he holograms cannot be touched. In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor even failed in his attempt to throw a rock at Loki’s hologram. But in the death scene, Thor just happens to be holding him comfortably. And given that rocks go right through a hologram, then any other hologram shouldn't have been stabbed either.
"Loki became impaled and passed away in the strong arms of loving brother Thor." I threw up in my mouth. I am going to repeat myself. Thor is not loving. Please stop calling him this. (Post regarding this)
They are not "holograms" they're illusions. A hologram is technology; Loki is not using technology he is using magic.
Why do they only reference Thor: Ragnarok? Loki has used illusions in Thor 1, Avengers 1 and this movie!
"Comfortably"? That's how they describe the scene? They're on the ground, and Loki is bleeding from his chest! How is that comfortable?
On another note, this is correct. How Loki survived does not make sense. I am not suggesting he faked it. This is just an example of Marvel skipping over important information.
9/10
"Poor Attempt At Trying To Kill Thanos"
Before he was made to look incompetent by Thanos, Loki was a very intelligent villain. Catching and defeating him wasn't easy, and this was all thanks (ScreenRant Typo: takes) to his ability to create illusions at will. He used this trick very many times and it always worked. But when Loki is trying to kill Thanos in Infinity War, the only trick up his sleeve is pretending to pledge loyalty to the Mad Titan with secret intentions of stabbing him with a blade. Of course, Thanos stopped him and killed him. Why didn't Loki use a smarter trick? More importantly, why didn't he use his tried and tested illusion trick?
Now they call them illusions.
Please do not completely villain code Loki. He is more than that.
"Before he was made to look incompetent by Thanos" Yes, this scene made Loki look incompetent.
This is a great point. Why did Loki do that? Loki has tons of abilities even outside casting illusions. His IQ is 265, and he pulls this move?! Why?! This not redemption and this not a honorable death. What happened?
8/10
"His Evolution Into A God"
According to the MCU, Loki's parents are the Frost Giants Farbauti and Laufey. Despite his parents not being gods, Loki evolves into the “God of Mischief.” How is this possible, given that he was only adopted by Asgardian parents who were gods, but he himself had no god lineage?
I had to look into this because Frigga is a terrible mother. This is actually something the MCU got wrong. Laufey in Norse Mythology is actually Loki's mother, and Farbauti is Loki's father. Laufey (mother) also goes by the name Nál. Nál was actually considered as goddess of youth and playfulness who also really enjoyed nature. It also says that she was a frost giant, so she could have possibly been a shapeshifter. Her bio is kind of all over the place, and though I have read Norse Mythology, I am no expert. BUT this is something that the MCU should work to clear up. Not me a fan.
7/10
"Blue Hue"
As the son of a Frost Giant, Loki was born with a blue skin tone. When Odin adopted him, he cast a spell that changed his tone from blue to white. However, Loki never seems to have an idea about his true skin color. Given his history of mischief, he has never attempted to change back either. After, Odin’s spell to keep Hela far from Asgard ended in Thor: Ragnarok, his spell on Loki ought to have ended too. Or perhaps Loki has always been aware that he is blue. If so, then the confusion ought to be cleared up.
"Given his history of mischief" What history? Someone explain. If they are talking about the snake story I'm suing. And that doesn't even count since it technically did not happen.
"Or perhaps Loki has always been aware that he is blue." Clearly who ever wrote this did not watch Thor 1. If they did I hope they have a good explanation for this comment.
This also goes along with 8/10 that Loki could possibly be at least 50% Æsir (Asgardian).
6/10
"Mind-Controlling Hawkeye Instead Of Fury"
Loki found himself in the S.H.I.E.L.D. base after using the Tesseract’s portal to transport himself. One of his first tasks involves mind-controlling Hawkeye so that he can use him as security. He also mind-controls Dr. Selvig to make him create the Chitauri portal. But it's strange that he doesn't mind-control the boss ,Nick Fury. If he had done that, everything he wanted would have been achieved more easily. Fury would have been his puppet and he could have used him to make the Avengers make regrettable decisions.
Although minor this is a good point. My only explanation is that Loki may not have been thinking clearly. Especially since judging by the way he looks in the scene, he's evidently sick.
5/10
Thanos Was Too Lenient Towards Him
Long before they became enemies. Loki and Thanos were associated. One of the instructions that Thanos gave Loki was to get the Tesseract as soon as possible, or else. Yes, there were stipulations from Thanos outlined to Loki by The Other. Loki was promised a kind of pain he'd never known before. However, Loki wasn't able to deliver the Tesseract for more than six years, and nothing really happened to him. Given how ruthless the Mad Titan is, it's a mystery why he was so lenient towards Loki.
"Long before they became enemies. Loki and Thanos were associated." When was this? If by "associated" you mean tortured for a year than...sure. I am also confused for why they say "associated", and then talk about him being tortured later in the same paragraph.
Just going by the MCU, Thanos was also looking for the other infinity stones, so he probably figured he would get Loki later.
4/10
Stopping Agent Coulson
During Loki's invasion of Earth in Avengers, he trapped Thor in a cage, and while he was talking to his brother, Agent Coulson tried to stage a surprise attack. Not so fast Coulson. It appears the God Of Mischief is also the God Of Anticipating. Coulson ended up shooting a hologram instead of the real Loki. But how exactly was Loki able to anticipate Coulson's arrival? Can he see the near future? If such is the case, why didn't he see the attack from Hulk coming? Why didn't he use a hologram during the beatdown that left him in a pretty bad state either?
Again with the "holograms"? Seriously!
This is also minor, but all I have to say is that it is difficult so sneak up on, or scare Loki. In the scene prior Natasha did it, and he didn't really react. He may have used a clone as a protection method, since he probably suspected that someone would come once everyone was alerted he had escaped.
3/10
"Hatred For Thor"
Thor has always cared about Loki, but Loki has always wanted to end his brother. During the events of Thor: Ragnarok, a flashback scene showed Thor and Loki during their childhood days. Apparently, Loki did plenty of bad things to Thor. He once transformed Thor into a frog, while he also transformed himself into a snake to fool Thor into picking him up. Thor loved snakes, so when he tried to pick the reptile, Loki transformed back to himself and stabbed Thor. Why was there so much hatred? According to the first movie, Loki used to love Thor. He only started hating his brother when he found out that Thor was going to be the Asgardian king.
This argument is so poor I shed tears. I have a whole essay of why this all of this wrong here. But I'll give you a summary.
"Thor has always cared about Loki" This is not true. The only time Thor has expressed care for Loki is when he is gaslighting him and for 5 minutes after he "dies". "During the events of Thor: Ragnarok, a flashback scene showed Thor and Loki during their childhood days. Apparently, Loki did plenty of bad things to Thor. He once transformed Thor into a frog, while he also transformed himself into a snake to fool Thor into picking him up. Thor loved snakes, so when he tried to pick the reptile, Loki transformed back to himself and stabbed Thor." Plenty? This is two. Like I said prior, and at the beginning if the post I linked, the snake story logically did not happen. This scene is also improvised.
"According to the first movie, Loki used to love Thor. He only started hating his brother when he found out that Thor was going to be the Asgardian king." Loki has never hated Thor. (I really do not understand why though.) When Loki found out Thor was going to be king, he was the only person (even though everyone knew it was a bad idea, and I mean everyone) willing to stop Thor. Thor was not ready. This was not an act hatred but of love, acknowledgement, and honest will. Again, whomever wrote this evidently did not watch Thor 1.
2/10
Takeover Plan
Still, in the first film, Loki began scheming after finding out that he was adopted and he'd never become king. The God of Mischief assisted the Frost Giants in gaining entry to Asgard so that he could destroy the Frost Giant King Laufey before he could kill Odin. Sounds good, but then Thor tried to feud with the Frost Giants too, and this didn't turn out so well for him. In fact, Thor was banished and dispatched to Earth because of this. It is thus strange that Loki thought Odin would like him for doing what Thor had done. Loki also waited for Odin to sleep first before trying to destroy Laufey. Wouldn't it have been better for him to try and do this while Odin was awake?
Wow. This person did not watch the movie. They couldn't have.
"It is thus strange that Loki thought Odin would like him for doing what Thor had done." Loki did not do what Thor did. This is what Thor did. His coronation was interrupted, so he went to Jotunheim to "learn why" the Jotuns had attacked. They reach Jotunheim after everyone around Thor tells him it is a bad idea (note, this after Odin his father told him no), effectively committing treason. Laufey calls Thor princess, and Thor loses it. This breaks the "peace treaty" and starts a war. Asgard nor Odin are in a good state for war. By doing this, Thor has put all of Asgard in danger. Now what Loki did. Loki let Laufey into Asgard as a trick to kill him. Why this is different. The war had already started. Thor's "banishment" (and Frigga's terrible parenting) left Loki to stop the war. Loki kills Laufey and as a result the Jotuns no longer have a leader. The rest of the plan is to wipe out Jotunheim to ensure the Jotuns didn't invade, take over, and possibly destroy Asgard.
"Wouldn't it have been better for him to try and do this while Odin was awake?" No it would not. We see later in the franchise that if you are Loki, you can follow the Asgardian way and get severely punished for it. (*cough* Thor: Dark World *cough*) Odin does wake up at the end of the movie, and he just ends up being Loki's tipping point, causing Loki to attempt to kill himself.
1/10
Not Teaming Up With Hela
Loki and Odin’s abandoned daughter Hela had the same goals, but strangely enough, they didn't team up to make everything go smoothly. Given the kind of unity Loki had seen from the Avengers, he'd have been smarter enough to value teamwork more. When Hela arrived to take the throne and get revenge, Loki ought to have been the first person on her side. Her plan was basically a newer, small-scale version of his own plan in Avengers. Given his nature, it could have been more logical for him to team up with her then destroy her.
If you...do not...know anything...about Loki...DO NOT MAKE POSTS ABOUT HIM, PLEASE. What the heck is this?! I see why who ever wrote this has a job under ScreenRant. I really do. This is irrelevant.
"Loki and Odin’s abandoned daughter Hela had the same goals" What "goals" were those. Loki's goal was to impress Odin. Hela was trying to basically return Asgard back to "normal". "Normal" is explained later as being a consistent state of war and conquering .
"When Hela arrived to take the throne and get revenge, Loki ought to have been the first person on her side." Why?
"Her plan was basically a newer, small-scale version of his own plan in Avengers." Loki was being mind controlled, had been previously tortured, and was fresh out of a cult he had been in for a year! That doesn't count! Hela, who also has valid reasoning, is upset that her biological father cast her out (like Thor) for being too much like him.
"Given his nature, it could have been more logical for him to team up with her then destroy her." This person doesn't know Loki's nature evidently, since they are skipping over the fact that Loki kept Asgard safe from war for 4 years. So, no he would not team up with her since their views for Asgard are completely different.
Gosh, I hate ScreenRant.

Five Years (A Request)
Tumblr media
Requested: @riotmaximoff
Word Count: 1914
Warnings: Descriptions of death and body mutilation, angst
Pairing: Natasha X Reader
Request: Maybe a Natasha x fem reader who can control fire and is also immortal. The reader takes goes with Nat and Clint to get the soul stone and is the one that sacrifices herself. They think she died but she comes back.
a/n: Sorry this took so long! And I still have not seen Infinity war or Endgame so I apologize if this is OOC or doesn't follow the timeline
Masterlist
Standing in front of Red Skull was not how you had planned your morning to begin. But, to save the world, you guessed you would save the grumbling for later.
“One must sacrifice their soul to bring back the souls that were lost.”
Of course it was cryptic and creepy and the stare from the blood red faced man was not helping matters.
It was you, Clint and your girlfriend, Natasha, who were sent to retrieve the Soul Stone. You looked over at your girlfriend and saw the determination in her eyes.
Oh no.
  You knew that look.
Glancing over at Clint, you saw the same look in his eyes.
Stifling a heavy sigh, you internally asked yourself why mortals were so willing to sacrifice themselves. Did they have no sense of self-preservation?
“Clint...you have a family. Laura and the...And the kids need you. It has to be me.” Natasha’s voice was thick, filled with unshed tears that glistened in her emerald eyes.
Clint shook his head, “No. What I’ve done these past five years...it’s nothing short of Villainous. Laura needs a better man. Besides,” Clint glanced over where you stood, “You have [Y/n]. You two deserve to be happy. You finally cleared the red in your ledger Nat. Let yourself have a future.”
You breathed in deeply, and when the two people, your lover and your best friend, were distracted arguing with themselves, stepped towards Red Skull, “Give the stone to Natasha.”
My voice drew the two people’s attention and you watched as Natasha’s eyes flashed with understanding a moment before Clint’s.
You smiled and with a wink, flung yourself over the edge of the cliff. The air rushed past your ears, screaming at you.
Faintly, you heard Natasha’s anguished scream, All you could think was that you hoped she wouldn’t be heartbroken and angry at you for what you did.
With a sickening crunch, your body hit the frozen ground. Your brain short circuited as you took in, mildly, the twisted broken legs, your severed spine, and your crushed skull. Before the world went mercifully black.
Everytime you died, you went to a fold in the universe where you stayed while your body mendes itself. Your mind, or consciousness, you guess, could watch the world around it for a while in bits and pieces.
So you were able to see Red Skull hand Natasha the Stone. You were able to, painfully, and sadly, watch her break down in Clint’s arms over your death.
You mentally kicked yourself for not telling Natasha about what you really were.
You were able to watch as Dr. Strange brought back everyone who was dusted.
You were able to watch with bated breath as Thanos almost killed Thor before Steve came to the rescue.
You were able to watch as Peter stole the glove and Carol show up.
But most importantly, you were able to watch as your team, your friends, your family, won.
The last thing you saw as your conscience began flowing back into your mortal body, was everyone kneeling down before a dying Tony Stark, your girlfriend Natasha trying to be strong as she lost another family member.
You came to with a sudden gasp, coughing at the staleness of the air. Blinking your eyes, you found yourself sitting up by a tree in the middle of a wooded area.
You grinned wryly, your body always chose to materialize in random spots. But luckily for you, you recognized this particular woods. It was the wooded area behind the Avenger Compound.
Standing up, your joints clicked as they locked into place and you stretched, your muscles protesting.
Walking by a stump, you took a moment and paused to look down at where your name and Natasha’s were engraved. You remembered that day. It was before you and Natasha had become official.
Natasha had been teaching you some of her moves, and you had tripped over the stump with Natasha landing on top of you. Once you both got down blushing and stuttering, you dissolve into giggles.
You had suggested carving your names into the stump to commemorate the day, and Natasha had agreed, carving your names into it. Not a week later, she had asked you out on a date.
Still in the outfit you had been wearing when you took a swan dive off the cliff in Red Skull’s realm, you followed the sound of fighting.
The compound looked the same as it did all those years ago when you had joined the Avengers.
“Hello [Y/n]. It has been a while. Your records state your death was over five years ago.”
The smooth voice of Jarvis filled the entrance as you stepped inside.
You smiled and joked, “Well, the reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” But after you giggled to yourself, you sighed, “I know you know what I am Jarvis. Tony made sure I told him so that it could be put into your mainframe.”
The AI made a sound that couldn’t counted as laughter before Jarvis spoke again, “Correct. Shall I inform Natasha of your presence?”
You took a moment before you shake your head, “No. She won’t believe you.”
Jarvis cautioned, “I don’t think showing up unannounced will be the best course of action [Y/n]. Natasha has been grieving your death for years and will think you are a threat, not the real [Y/n] since she does not know of what you are.”
Once again you cursed you past self for not telling Natasha. But you smiled and waved off Jarvis, “It will be okay. I deserve anything she throws at me for the pain I put her in.”
The hallways were familiar as you wound your way to the gym.
Standing in the doorway, you watched as people familiar and unknown to you ran through an obstacle course, jumped through flames and hoops, and sparred amongst themselves.
“Hello. Can I help you?” A young teenage girl asked, wiping sweat off her face as she took a break from the metal suit in front of her on a work table.
Tears sprung to your eyes as you took in those familiar eyes and face. You could still vividly recall the scene of Tony’s death from when you were in the Fold. And this young woman...she looked just like him. She had to be his kid.
She scrunched her eyebrows at your silence and then turned to shout out, “Hey! Auntie Nat! I got a newbie!”
And your heart jumped up into your throat. Time seemed to slow as you rotated and saw a flash of red hair, followed by emerald eyes and red lips, and then Suddenly Natasha, the woman you loved, was in front of you.
She paused for a moment, staring you down. You watched her eyes widened and her mouth open in shock.
You smiled at her sadly, “Hey…”
And then you were thrown onto your back. A grunt and your eyes closed for a second as the air was pushed from your lungs.
A weight and you looked up to see Natasha straddling you with a wicked dagger at your throat.
In those green eyes you had dreamed of in the Fold, you saw pain and anguish and hatred. And it nearly broke your heart.
Screams from everyone else in the training room as they registered what was happening.
A small crown circled you two.
You recognized Scott and Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes and Clint in the crowd, making sure the younger kids stayed a distance away. In all their faces, you saw the shock and pain your presence brought.
“Who are you!? How’d you get in here!?” Natasha’s voice cracked, as a single tear slid down her cheek, she didn’t even notice.
You breathed softly, aware of the dagger on your neck. Staring up into Nat’s eyes, you pushed your conviction and sorrow into your words, “I am [Y/n], Natasha. I’m your [Y/n].”
She cried, a strangled sound escaping, “Lies! [Y/n] is dead! I watched her die! I saw her broken body! What sort of trick are you hoping to perform here!? Making a mockery of the person I loved!”
“Natasha. I was there when you went to Wakanda to meet Steve after the fight in the airport. I held you in my arms when you cried over another family that you felt you had broken. I kissed your lips under the dark stormy sky in Red Skull’s realm. And I promise you, that I am [Y/n] and that I can explain what is happening...once you get off of me and put the dagger away.”
You could see her jolt and hesitate as you spoke of things only the two of you would know about. You smiled up at her and whispered, “Please. Nat. It’s me.”
A sob and your were yanked up as Natasha jumped and pulled you with her. Wrapping her arms around you, chest heaving with the weight of her sorrow and sobs.
You wrapped your arms back around her and murmured in her ear, ignoring the whispers and looks from everyone else in the room, “I’m here. I’m alive. I’m here.”
Stepping away from her hurt you, but you did and spared a glance to everyone else. Scott and Clint were wiping tears away, Sam and Bucky were staring at you, and the kids were watching as their mentors broke down over a strange woman who had disrupted their training.
A chuckle escaped you, before you sobered up at gestured at yourself, “I guess I should explain this.”
A silent nod from the four men. Natasha stepped closer, her eyes as strong and beautiful as you remember.
“I’m not human.” Better to rip the bandaid off.
A murmur ran through the room.
Natasha continued to stare, silent.
Taking a deep breath, you continued, “In truth, I’m not sure exactly what I am except for something very old and ancient. I am immortal.”
Clint piped up, taking a step towards you, “But we saw you die. You were...you were broken.” His voice dipped low as he glanced at where Natasha was standing frozen, staring at you.
You nodded at him, “I can die. That’s true. But it’s only my mortal body. My consciousness goes into something called ‘the Fold’ whenever my body dies and stays there while my body mends itself. Sometimes I stay dead for a few hours, sometimes a few days. This was the longest...Jarvis told me it’s been five years.”
You turned and looked down at Natasha, tears in your eyes, “I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you. I’m so sorry it took me so long to come back to you. I’m so damn sorry Nat. And I understand if, after grieving for me and then seeing me here, you want nothing to do with-”
Your choked apology was interrupted as soft lips slammed onto yours.
A gasp and then you melted into the familiar taste of the woman you loved.
Breaking apart, she gasped, her breath brushing against your face, “Don’t ever die on me again. You hear?”
You laughed softly, hands reaching up to tangle into her red locks, “I promise. And no more secrets.”
She kissed you again, slow and deep. It would be a long road to recovery and gaining back the trust of your family and your girlfriend. But it was something you were willing to do.
