your headcanon about Sailor Venus being the reason the Silver Millennium falls is so interesting!

what's the role of Metalia and Beryl in it? did they work together with Sailor Venus?

I actually don’t really consider Metalia when I think about SilMil and the Dark Kingdom, if i do implement her, she’s usually more of a ‘force’ rather than an entity per se, but to answer your question, not really.

Silmil Venus wants to cause the downfall of the Silver Millennium, but she has no means or interest to interact with the Earth colony. She’s very aware of the multiple rebellions and surges, but it’s more like she uses them to her advantage rather than fully cooperate with anyone. Her main means of manipulation are through the Princess and even the Queen herself, pushing the Queen to take the Earth threats more seriously and thus causing further dismay and desperation upon the people of Earth, accelerating the possible tipping point that could finally cause a full on War. While also keeping secret of the more delicate aspects of the rebellion, such as infiltrators. She knows exactly who’s planning to turn their backs on the Kingdom, but since it highly benefits her, she keeps it a secret.

As for Beryl, Beryl has so much potential, she genuinely has and I do plan on exploring aspects of her character in my version of Silmil. To start she’s not just a random maiden (or witch for some reason), she’s a part of a highly secretive rebellion group against Moon kingdom, who’s goal is to free Earth and its people from the ruthless dictatorship of Serenity. This group includes tons of different people, sort of like a spy network, but at its core it’s composed of Beryl herself, Kunzite, Zoisite, Nephrite, Jadeite, Thetis, Enymion and .. Luna. (If someone is more curious about this one shoot an ask and I’ll explain further, but i rlly wanna focus on Beryl in this).

Beryl’s goals are to infiltrate the Moon Kingdom, steal and shatter the silver Crystal, being aware that that crystal is the center of all power for Serenity and the other Senshi. This information being gathered by Luna and also by a mysterious voice who offers her guidance.

A lot of how exactly the Moon Kingdom falls is still in the writing works, but I basically see Queen Serenity finding out about Luna, executing her and launching what is by all means a missile attack to Earth, destroying and killing thousands of people in the villages where Beryl and the knights reside. This hatred within Beryl causes the mysterious voice to fully come forth and offer her a power in exchange for Queen Serenity’s life, she takes it and a full on attack on the Moon starts. The Queen is obviously taken aback, but she’s also very old and much weaker than she used to be, so she leaves most of the work on Venus. Venus takes it willingly and kills all of the other senshi behind closed doors (which at this point is only Mercury, Jupiter and Mars), looking to find the princess next.

Beryl and the Queen have a one to one, where the queen becomes more and more aware that she’s not making it out alive and at this point she’s not putting much of a fight, it’s the inevitable end of a cycle and her time was about to come soon anyways. The Queen is old and tired, the empire is falling, but a new ruler is going to be reborn regardless and she will start a new empire. She accepts death and lets herself be killed by Beryl. In the meantime Endymion is looking for Serenity, but Venus gets to him first and kills him. When Serenity finds her way to her deceased lover, Venus lies, like she always does, saying he was killed in battle, along with the rest of her guardians and her mother.

By means I still haven’t fully figured out (I will find a way for it to make sense, I’m so determined!) Venus sword has the power to reawaken a soul lying dormant within a reincarnated body if the previous reincarnation was killed by said blade, so she proposes to let Serenity be killed by her so that hers and Serenity’s souls will live on into the next life and will eventually be able to fully reawaken and take over their reincarnated selves. It will be their new life, where Serenity will be able to live happily ever after with her beloved prince, free from the shackles of the will of her mother and any responsibility to have to govern any empire. Serenity accepts and lets her ‘dearest of friends’ Venus kill her. With a smile on her face Venus points the sword toward herself, knowing she will live on, free from the queen and finally being able to kill her princess before she’s able to enslave her again in her next life.

Beryl and the kings return victorious to Earth and live relatively regular lives after that. Skip to the time where the senshi are starting to get reborn and the mysterious voice reaches out for the souls of Beryl and the other kings and Endymion, their job is not done and they must stop the new princess and her guardians from rebuilding a new Empire in the current timeline.

A lot of this is still in the writing works, so stuff might change, but this is more or less how I see the fall of the Moon Kigdom and Beryl’s involvement in it. She’s sort of like the live long enough to see yourself become the villain trope, she was the hero all those years ago, she’s just blinded by rage and power fueled by this mysterious voice.

Ok, I shall start my liveblog rewatch of Sailor Moon Crystal with Act 15: Infiltration - Sailor Mars.

May I just begin by saying it is a BALLSY move of Chibiusa to introduce herself to her past parents by literally falling on them and then pointing a gun in Usagi's face.

The next few arcs go as followed.

The Defenders and Sailor Guardians rescue Mamoru after Ming turns him into a frost person. Zoisite becomes the first of the Four Heavenly Kings to be healed by Sailor Moon with help from Sailor Mercury at the same time as Mamo's rescue.

During an infiltration mission, Jadeite gets healed with help from Zoisite, Sailor Mars and Sailor Saturn.

Then, while Nephrite and finally, Kunzite both get healed during an intense battle, Jedda gives birth to the twins, and Rick and Jedda become proud parents to Christopher "Chris" Gordon and Dale Gordon.

My steps of earth marking each passing of my endless years to come, the endless winters and summers. My past erased as he is locked away, his mistake now my consequence. His friend now my foe.

My rough feet, who only has known solitude and violent bloody floor of the battlefield, paces around the white and clean floors of a prestigious place. Like i wasn’t capable of tainting it in snap of my fingers. Unworthy.

He smiles at me, with a falsity that seems mocking. Smirking like a Cheshire cat, his purples eyes reveal nothing but power thirst: moving us around like paws in his chess game.

Friends in variety, the soberness before inebriety.

You cup my face as you tell me you will never leave me. You are my home for all seasons. You are my sun to my glacial winter, as I am your moon to your fiery summer, I am your fall and you my spring. Because just like to the galaxies to simplest of systems in our world, we are the seasons of our years and the years of our life’s but together we are a entire universe.

OKAY, well, combined with his name, that skull and crossbones on Mozu’s picture sure is ominous. Did an assassin/murderer infiltrate the squad? Or was he chosen for the squad because the government is THAT fucked up? or maybe that’s supposed to indicate he was raised from the dead, who knows with this manga.

Sailor inner Senshi redesign first form. Can be Used in own art if you want so contact me on tumblr first for permission. I wanted to make My own version of the Sailor Senshi so I started with the inner Senshi. I based them after insparations from Sailor och from deviantart. They all have brooches and own crystals that are in the same powers as Silver crystal. It had always pissed me off that they are weaker then Sailor moon when they are suppose to be powerfull Sailor Guardians. In the first season and later in Changes to diffrent jewellry. So Here is My ideas. Sailor mars: I based Sailor mars after her prototype design and a knight. I gave her red jewel tiara instead of a normal and armor because of her planets god and her priestess trainning. I also gave Rei weapon which are based after pgsm which is a pair of daggers. She gets the bow and arrow later in the series. Her powers are over Fire, mind and balance in the first season. Sailor Mercury: Based after her prototype form But more futuristic. She has only on me glow which has her computer on. Its No longer a hand computer But instead a hologram. Mercury has a hairband with a zoisite colored rosett from the silver millennium. Her weapon is also based after PGSM which is a curved dao sword. Her powers are Ice, mist and intelligence in the first season Sailor Jupiter: Also based after her prototype form and street fighter/ military. Her tiara is based after a Oni horn from the myth of raiden and has golden brass nuckles which she uses in short and long ranged fights. Her weapon is also based after pgsm which is a spear with a lighting shaped head. Her powers are Thunder, rain and tree’s in the first season. Sailor Venus: heavily Based after her Sailor V outfit and models. She has bigger glowes which she can use as energy shields. She can change her Apperance to infiltrate her enemies and manipulate them into her biding (Except for other Senshi) Her weapon is based after pgsm which is a golden chain whip. Her powers are light, Metal and shapeshifting. More Will come and so with the outer Senshi

Feb 1-28  Sometime during this month or the following month, a few sailors create a disturbance at a small Polynesian nightclub in Honolulu. The bouncer throws the leader out and the others follow. B:  What was the first fandom you read fic in?  Which was the first you wrote fic for?

Harry Potter and Sailor Moon (not in that order, I wrote fic for myself before I read any/knew what it was). :)

E: What character do you identify with most?  Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

I have...a lot of characters I identify with. Willow is a big all-time winner, so I guess if you want to read me being most critical of myself the fic I wrote earlier this year “Where Do We Go” would qualify. I also write a lot of myself into my Annie bc I identify super hard with her. But I think I pretty much have to identify with a character on some level to enjoy writing them....because egocentrism.

Haha sure. I mentioned that Veronica Mars/Community fic that I...may write in some form sometime. Maybe. I also still have a couple of Annie/Abed ideas that may come into fruition sometime...a Picture This AU, for one. 

R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing?

Hmm, I really don’t know! I read voraciously as a kid (like, hit the literal limit on public library checkouts most weeks, read them all, and came back for more), so I feel like I absorbed a lot from a lot of different sources. I think in recent years the Buffy style has definitely infiltrated my writing (although I think it had indirectly before then), so even non-Buffy fic has a lot of the Buffy Speak happening.

Just in case you thought the conspiracy theory that Russia secretly controls  the US government is exclusively an affliction affecting the Democratic  party, Sen. John McCain’s recent performance on the floor of the US Senate should  disabuse you of this optimistic notion. Responding to Sen. Rand Paul’s blocking  of a vote in favor of the accession of Montenegro to NATO, the failed former  GOP presidential candidate let  it all hang out:

“I note the senator from Kentucky leaving the floor without justification  or any rationale for the action he has just taken. That is really remarkable,  that a senator blocking a treaty that is supported by the overwhelming number,  perhaps 98 – at least – of his colleagues would come to the floor and object  and walk away. The only conclusion you can draw when he walks away is he has  no justification for his objection to having a small nation be part of NATO  that is under assault from the Russians. So I repeat again, the senator from  Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin.”

What’s “remarkable” is that this kind of lunacy is tolerated in the US Senate:  I recall that Sen. Elizabeth Warren was rebuked – and  silenced – by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell because she read a  letter from Coretta Scott King that called into question the motives of Jeff  Sessions, then a Senator and a candidate for the office of Attorney General.  Surely McCain’s outburst was an even more egregious violation of the  rules than Warren’s, and yet McCain was allowed to proceed uninterrupted.  Perhaps this is an example of “warmonger’s privilege.”

In a  later interview, Sen. Paul sought to explain McCain’s behavior as an indication  of the Senator from Arizona’s advanced age: perhaps, he suggested, McCain is  “past his prime,” and, by the way, “this is a good argument for term limits.”  Well, yes, but in the current political atmosphere – where Vladimir Putin has  been elevated to the status of a virtually omnipotent force who has the power  to change election results and infiltrate the highest reaches of Western governments  – it’s no crazier than anything else we’re hearing out of Washington these days.

Be that as it may, ordinary Americans may have a few questions about this bizarre  incident, starting with: What the heck is Montenegro?

A tiny republic in the middle of the Balkans, Montenegro has a population equal  to that of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a military force of around 2,000 soldiers  and sailors. Up until the break up of Yugoslavia, it was never a unified independent  country (except for a few years early in the twentieth century). Today, it is  even less unified, beset as it is with rival factions that routinely battle  it out in  the streets. It’s former  President (and, alternately, Prime Minister) Milo Djukanovic, is a former  top Communist official who came to power in 1997 in an election marred  by allegations of fraud and violent protests, and is known as “Mr. Ten Percent”  on account of his reputation  for corruption. Although “retired” (this is, I believe, his third “retirement”)  he is still the real nexus of power in the country.

Formerly a bastion of Serbian nationalism, Montenegro  has undergone demographic changes since the end of the Yugoslav era, with a  large incursion of Albanians – who have initiated a  campaign to create a “Greater Albania” by merging  the southern portion of the country with Albania proper. Aside from that, however,  there is the question of whether Montenegro will join NATO and the European  Union, a project dear to the heart of Djukanovic, and opposed by the former  Serbian majority which still remembers how the country was bombed under NATO’s  rubric during the Kosovo war.

The recent elections, billed as a referendum  on NATO membership, yielded ambiguous results for Djukanovic’s party: the hope  was that Djukanovic’s Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the successor  to the old Communist Party, would win an outright majority, thus enabling  the pro-NATO forces to push NATO membership through parliament without having  to resort to a referendum. The DPS ended up winning 41 percent of the vote, not enough to form a government,  although an alliance with smaller parties – not all of them pro-NATO – gave  Djukanovic a parliamentary majority. The opposition parties are now pushing  for a popular vote on entering NATO, and recent polls indicate that voters are  split almost exactly down the middle on the issue.

That doesn’t deter Djukanovic, who, with the  help of the Western media, has managed to replicate the anti-Russian hysteria  we are seeing infect our own politics. According to Djukanovic, a Russian plot  to attack the parliament, kill members of the ruling party, and take over the  country was narrowly averted when a number of “plotters” were arrested. The  New York Times describes these sinister “plotters” as  follows:

“Mr. Djukanovic and his officials initially provided no evidence to support  their allegation of a foiled coup attempt on Oct. 16, the day of national elections.  They said only that 20 Serbs – some of whom turned out to be elderly and in  ill health – had been detained just hours before they were to launch the alleged  putsch. Nonetheless, Mr. Djukanovic insisted it ‘is more than obvious’ that  unnamed ‘Russian structures’ were working with pro-Moscow politicians to derail  the country’s efforts to join NATO.”

After months of searching, the alleged weapons cache that was to be used in  the coup attempt has yet to turn up. But, hey, who needs weapons when you’re  part of the vast Putinite Conspiracy? Oh, those Russians – stealing elections  from Michigan to Montenegro! Is there anything they can’t do? The alleged leader  of the “plot” has been granted a plea deal, and is now spinning a tale of intrigue  so murky that light cannot penetrate its depths. One version has it that Russian  “special forces” “disguised  as a Cossack folk band” arrived on the scene to “recruit” those plotting  to off Djukanovic. Those are some very special forces indeed. Oddly,  the alleged “plotters” have all been released, including the supposed ringleader.  Meanwhile, leaders of the anti-NATO opposition are being arrested for “ties”  to the “plot.”

This is what Sen. McCain was talking about when he claimed that Montenegro is  “under assault from the Russians.” It’s the Montenegrin version of the same  line of baloney he’s been pushing here in the US: that the Russians “stole”  the 2016 presidential election, and are “subverting” American democracy.

Sen. Paul was right to block approval of Montenegro’s accession to NATO: that  country is the perfect backdrop for an international incident that would drag  us into a conflict with Russia. In accusing Paul of “working for Vladimir Putin,”  McCain is limning the tactics of Djukanovic, who is busy framing up and arresting  his political opponents on similarly phony charges.

The alleged “Russian agent” Mike Flynn, forced to resign as National Security  Advisor because of his nonexistent “ties” to Moscow, reportedly recommended  that the Trump administration approve Montenegro’s bid to join NATO.  I guess he didn’t get his directive from Putin in a timely manner. On the other  hand, the Montenegrin  opposition is  petitioning Trump advisor Steve Bannon to urge the President to veto it.

Montenegro’s accession to NATO would plant yet another tripwire that could  easily lead directly to a collision with Russia. At the very least it would  cause substantial internal turmoil in the country, perhaps ending in an all-out  civil war such as happened in Ukraine.

President Trump was right when he said during the campaign that NATO is “obsolete.”  It is also dangerous in that it pledges us to go to war in defense of member  nations. With Turkey, a NATO member, moving rapidly into Syria, and now face-to-face  with Russian and Syrian soldiers, and with British troops now entering  Estonia, where a make-believe Russian “threat” is supposedly being thwarted,  our membership in NATO could very well drag us into a conflict on two fronts.

How is this putting “America first”?

Wow, in the crane machine there a Sailor V doll (which is obvious, she is very popular), Sailor Mars and Tuxedo Mask dolls (wow, someone has seen them too? And they saw them good enough to make very accurate plushies), Some blue-haired pink-uniformed non-existent Sailor senshi (which also is expected, maybe someone saw Mercury, but not clearly. maybe the toy-makers just make more since rumours about sailor senshi are popular). 

But then there is a Queen Beryl doll! And there is no way anyone on earth has seen Queen Beryl. So it’s definitely the job of one of the shitennou! I just wonder who...

Zoisite is petty, but not like that, I don’t see him making plushies to make fun of her. So Jadeite or Nephrite? And I think it was Nephrite. The “I’m gonna infiltrate the human world as a rich young businessman with a sports car and a mansion in the forest” guy. He has resources and he has the proper amount of disrespect and lack of fear.

Infiltration, Sailor Mars

I had just finished my script for Chapter 73 of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger. I decided to take a walk through Stroller Park. I ran into Usagi and Mamoru, who were sharing a moment. Suddenly, a mysterious girl, about 10 years of age, landed on Usagi. It turns out this girl was also named Usagi. She pointed a pistol at my sister and demanded for the Legendary Silver Crystal. I could tell this pistol was just a toy. This “chibi” Usagi fled and we, along with my other fellow Powerpuffs and the Mane Six, later found her on a swing. All of us then went to the Tsukino household, where “Chibiusa”, as we’ll call her, hypnotized the Tsukino family into letting her stay with them. Usagi was enraged by this, but I told her to save her anger, as I feared that a new enemy would arrive and that I would need help from my fellow Powerpuffs, the Mane Six, and the rest of the Sailor Senshi in order to take it down. A few hours later, I spoke with Luna and Artemis about this new enemy and they proceeded to equip Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako with new transformation devices and new communicators. I suddenly sensed that the first member of this new enemy was at T&A Girls’ Academy, the same school that Rei attended. I immediately rounded up my fellow Powerpuffs and the Mane Six and we set off for T&A Girls’ Academy. Shigeru, Dexter, Koji, Takashi, and I had to transform into schoolgirls in order to blend in. I found Rei, who immediately saw through my transformation. I began to tell her that a new enemy had arrived at this school before finding her. She was Koan, a member of the Spectre Sisters, which were part of the villainous Black Moon clan. Meanwhile, Rei discovered two droids disguised as nuns. She transformed into Sailor Mars and used her Burning Mandala attack to destroy them. Koan unleashed her identity and trapped Sailor Mars in a flame barrier. Usagi saw this and transformed into Sailor Moon. She tried using her Moon Tiara Action on Koan, but it just bounced right back. Koan sent out more droids, but then, Sailor Mercury showed up and used her Shine Snow Illusion to destroy them. Just then, Sailor Moon got a new Moon Stick, called the Cutie Moon Rod, which was born out of Usagi’s and Mamoru’s romantic affections for each other. Sailor Moon immediately used its attack, Moon Princess Halation, to kill Koan. However, Sailor Mars was still trapped inside the flame barrier and suddenly disappeared. I could tell that Sailor Mars was abducted by the Black Moon clan, which were going to be much more dangerous than the Dark Kingdom was, so I decided to train excessively to set myself on equal footing with them. The Gotokujis and Mane Six decided to do the same.

Maybe I should have kept watch We were infiltrated in the night, by some tortured form. A half-man, half television hybrid. It looked kind of cool, you ever see Videodrome? Metal cords going into flesh, and a remote fused to a hand. It wasn’t carrying a weapon, but it almost killed Lucas. It did some mind-control buisiness, and got Lucas to belive that he was in a happy land of everything being fine, and convinced him to eat a novelty oversized lolipop.  In reality, Lucas was being confused into sucking on his own sword, and cut himself up really bad. Avram took care of it, and neither of them seemed to want to talk about it after. There was a lot of blood. I decided it would be best to kick the corpse around a bit, and we packed up. We have a long day ahead of us. Weylinn was still totally out of it, so I guess I’ll have to wait to yell at him.  We travel, for just as long as it took our feet to hurt and reach the Jewel. Everyone’s gathered in the main square, as Rialto has killed the hero hunter. He was absolutely radiant, and was too busy shouting at Solar over his cell phone (Paladins have cell phones now) to notice us. When we finally did get his attention, he was apprehensive as always. We were informed that someone finally found what King was up to. A sorcerer found him, saved him from his assailant, King returned the favour by being baited with a set of wind chimes, and trapped in a mask. So now we need to track down this sorcerer, and take his lunch money. Just find the guy who can capture a genie for fun, and try and overpower him. Should be impossible. We didn’t have time to argue the point, really. We thanked Rialto for the information, and a sandstorm swept into town. We protected our stuff, and huddled off to a sort of shelter for the afternoon. It was dank, dark and sullen. Everyone crowded together and looked sad for a good long time. It wasn’t that we were miserable, just bored. Everyone was there, or at least anyone without a home. We just didn’t have anything to talk about. Now, we could have been in there for hours, or up to a day. So naturally I claimed a seat at the only table, by laying out a blanket, and working on my carving. I’ve been meaning to make a set of Liar’s Dice. Just a memory of home. I like games, and I like people. So having a game anyone can play, and anyone can wager on would be beneficial. I wanted them to be special, so I’ve come up with an Underground sort of way to distinguish the numbers. It was calming.  I needed to be calmed, really. Weylinn was lead into a corner and sat down, still in shock. Every time I looked up at him, I flared with rage again, and every time I looked to Stuart, I felt elated. It was a weird mixture of emotions. The silence was broken by Anna, who wanted to buy a brewery. That somehow lead into a conversation about Jules wetting the bed. Anna asked how Jules can even wet the bed, if she’s a doll and Jules responded in her classic childish way. It felt normal. I dunno, she felt normal. Like, despite everything that’s happened, and she’s been through. There’s still a child in there. There’s still someone’s innocent little girl in that doll, and she likes the same things she always liked.  But she’s also a kid. Which means she’s got to be scared. I mean, that was absolutely abhorrent what Weylinn did, and now he’s totally unresponsive. She’s gotta be blaming herself, or just confused. I don’t know what to say, so I put away the dice and started working on something for her. This part of her, that we found used to be The Tar. Basically, the part of Jules that liked superheros and anime became a force for justice, just like in her cartoons. That was why Weylinn could so easily get her to sign up to be a... whatever you call it. By saying she could fight for justice, be a Magical girl. and that’s the story she latched on to. Trying to convince her she isn’t a magical girl will get us nowhere, and it could be more useful enforcing it. Weylinn can’t use her to do anything hurtful, if she believe she’s a force for good. So I decided to encourage it, with a custom made Sailor Moon wand. It shouldn’t be too hard, I pulled up a reference and got to work. Asked her what her favourite colour was, to try and get a feeling as to who’s wand it was supposed to be. Her favourite colour’s pink, of course. Which lead to a discussion where everyone gave up their favourite colours. Suicide’s was White, which is interesting. He and Jules had an argument about it for a while. 

Goldie loves Yellow, Anna loves Purple, I’m partial to red. So I started preparing for a Sailor Mars wand, as red was all I could do. Goldie got me good on that one. Pulled out all the stops, to hurt my feelings. Asked me to like his roots, because my shit taste makes good fertilizer. I need to stress again how weird it is having a real conversation with people, like how friends act. Not talking about strategy, or how we’re going to die. Just “Fuck you, your favourite colour is terrible.” I like it. Lucas even did something nice. He heard me complain that Stuart didn’t have a leash, and made one out of silk. It was nice, to help me out like that. It’s just too bad I couldn’t get the guy to wear it. He just won’t be restrained. I guess I spoil him. After getting a couple scratches from him, I decided to back off. Stuart was still riled up, and decided to take it out of Lucas. He mightily took a stance, and charged off the end of the table at Lucas, but didn’t quite stick the jump and tumbled onto his belly. Lucas responded with belly rubs, and it sort of worked it self out. That guy’s going to be dangerous one day.  Both of them are The Pathfinder mummy came in from the sandstorm, and Anna went to go speak with him. I finished the base of the wand, and spotted Hoodie hiding in a corner. I don’t know anything about what he does, but I know he has a hand in everything magical around here. So I confirmed he knew what Weylinn was up to, and I got him to look into the sorcerer we’re after, and sat down again. Anna went and talked to the Pathfinder, who told us to go see the plasma skeletons. So I guess we’re going to go find Cortez, I’ll be honest, I was mostly focused on the wand. The head came together, it was sanded well. I built it sturdy, because there’s no way she wouldn’t use it as an excuse to hit people. I even managed to stain it, with the berry win. Of course, now it smells like alcohol, but I hope that airs out. It needed some bedazzling, to fit into theme. I cut out some silk strips from my veil, and tied them to the head of the wand, and asked around for glitter. Turns out, Suicide had glitter. He carried it to see how far drops go, since it’s useful. Never really thought of it that way, but it works out. It was funny to think about, suicide jumping off a cliff while holding craft supplies. He seemed to get some enjoyment out of it. We bonded over how silly it would be to turn to dust, and be covered in glitter. Anna stepped in, to remind us that suicide is bad and Suicide shouldn’t have done it. Suicide started back into his “Well I want to kill myself” routine, It was going somewhere bad pretty quickly. I had to turn it around, and quickly. We had such a chill going on, and now we were going to ruin it. So, I improvised. I looked Suicide right in the (Closed) eyes and told him to watch something undeniably good happen, as a result of him being around. And I gave the glittery, twirly, sturdy wand to the nine year old girl. She was ecstatic, truly happy. It was probably the most uncomplicated, joyful thing any of us have seen in a long time. It even made Suicide smile. Jules struck a pose, to show it off and I managed to grab a picture. It was heartwarming, we all felt a little better. Nobody had anything to say until the end of the sandstorm, and we all filed back out into the Jewel. I exchanged my carving tools for a better set, and met the party back at the wagon. Weylinn had come to, and was settling into his new life as a... whatever you call him. I had planned to rip him a new one, but after the touching moment with Jules I just wanted a break from everything. I started to work on my liar’s dice, to keep calm. But Weylinn wasn’t very interested in keeping me calm. He started a conversation, to clear his head. He apologized to me. He told me he knew how I felt about losing Paladin status, and that he was sorry he ignored me earlier. I’m not totally proud of how I handle the situation from her one out, but he was making a solid effort to piss me off in new and exotic ways. He promised to come clean about what he heard from the Ghul, and gave a shit excuse in under a paragraph as to how bad we should feel for him. I wasn’t having any of it. I was livid. It wasn’t a blind rage, or a hot fury. It was pure, cold anger. I need Weylinn to understand how badly he’d fucked up, and I needed him to hurt for it. So, I walked him through what had happened. I walked him through how he lied to us, for no reason. How something good came out of it, with Suicide joining us. I made sure to insult his intelligence a bunch. I never gave him what he wanted. I just made him sit there, burning up. While I walk him through each sin he made, one by one. SO that he clearly understands he is a bad person. Anna was actually getting upset with me. Just a few hours ago she called me a nice person, and now she was upset with how I was handling Weylinn. I carried on, to stuff he forgot to mention. Like how the scarf came from the Ghul, and how we don’t know what Violence did in his head. Weylinn started lashing out, with frustration. I made him start yelling at me, in the square.  I guess this is the most anybody’s questioned him, for a long time. It didn’t take much. I just denied him “We did good enough”, and he fell apart. I robbed the only excuse he had, and it angered him. We go through what it means for Jules to be a servent, or whatever she is. Basically, she’s connected to the negative plane, and can use that to travel to any plane for spells. Weylinn doesn’t have to do his own magic anymore, he can just ask Jules to risk her lfie stealing magic from an entity in another plane, and bring it back. Fucking great. Really, throughout it all I just pissed him off again and again. My goal was just to hurt him, because he was already vulnerable. As long as he understood what he did was a bad thing, I could feel better. And he did. Anna defended him, said he was only doing what he thought was right. And he corrected her. He admitted what he did was selfish It was a brekthrough, a moment of vulnerability. And I capitalized on it "Your situation is that you're a bad person. Given a second chance by an equally bad person." "You put all of us at risk, and tied a nine year old's soul to darkness for person gain." "And boo hoo, it cost the heavy price of being reminded what a shitty person you were." "or are, considering this is the second time you've used Jules for your own gain."  "Don't fucking tell me you know how I feel.” It’s probably the meanest I’ve been to anyone in a long time. And then communication broke apart. We both yelled at eachother for a while, and then Weylinn did the thing where you pretend to have the moral high ground by ending a conversation early, and walking away. We all felt bitter about the exchange, but I don’t know what to tell you.
