YAAAAAYY I've finally finished these so I can post them all together!
If you're having a hard time reading my handwriting, I typed everything in each image description.
Anywho,
The dib files! Notes on dib. I made these just for funsies. I'm not planning on making a full blown story for him or anything, but people seem to like my iteration of Older Dib, so I took that as an opportunity to indulge and delve into him more with these drawings. Ironically, I started this with the intention to solidify the more subtle parts of his design, and since I started this over a month ago, I feel like the way I draw him has changed. OH WELL 😭
(Full disclosure: I basically stole the "zim marks" in the third page from mushy-madness. I saw a drawing of theirs and said "well that HAS to be the case, ain't no any other way")
If you want to see these as full res images, so you can zoom in and see all the little dibs in all their texture-y glory, they are on my patreon! I posted each one of these to patreon after I drew them, most of these were on there for over a month. So uhhh, early access and stuff. I HAVE to plug my patreon ok, don't look at me like that eeuuughgkhlhl :'D
Zoox Anthellae - India ink drawing on watercolor paper, 14" x 21"
I've been working on this for... quite a while. I listened to all of death blart while working on it and still had more to go. I've found a love for ink and also a hatred for choosing to stipple. But mostly I had fun working with the textures and choosing marine organisms to feature in this piece.
