Frank Zappa: Outside Now
If you haven't heard Frank Zappa before, you're missing out on some delectable weird shit mixed with masterful guitar work. Here's a live track from "Joe's Garage" sung to great effect by Ike Willis with a bitching solo by the Zapper himself who contacted me in a dream and specifically told me not to call him that.
Song Score: 1700/10

Song Review: Frank Zappa - “Outside Now” (Live, May 3, 1980)
Frank Zappa’s small show with his small, 1980 band is part of a forthcoming two-concert archival set.
Due March 3, Zappa 80: Mudd Club/Munich chronicles the quintet’s May 3 and July 3 gigs from the titular year. It’s previewed with “Outside Now” from the former show. And the recording, with ample crowd noise and Zappa’s two guitar solos overwhelming the rest of the band, captures the cramped, sweaty ambiance of the 240-capacity Mudd Club splendidly.
That renders Ike Willis’ refrain - I can’t wait to see what’s it’s like on the outside now - particularly apropos given Zappa’s ability to fill much-larger venues at the time, as evidenced by the German arena show also featured on Zappa 80.
The track comes to a full stop on Willis’ vocal, leaving the crowd response - no doubt euphoric - for the album.
Grade card: Frank Zappa - “Outside Now” (Live - 5/3/80) - A

What if modern AU Will would do something in theatre
Yea no he would. One of his favourite subjects was drama because well
It’s Will
Later when he got a job at the theatre he invited every person of the friend group to watch the show with him
To then surprise them by not showing up and preforming on the stage
He’s a little dramatic goose and you can’t convince me otherwhise
