Video game I saw in a dream. It was in this low poly style like an older video game. You play as this character I think was meant to be a lamb, or maybe a weird mix of a lamb a mouse and a rabbit, (while not really looking like any of those things) and you’re running away from a wolf. Your objective is to last as long as possible before the wolf catches and eats you.
The house you’re running in is endless and bizarrely put together like most building interiors in dreams are (like the infinite toilet dream dimension on Reddit lol) the layout of the house is pretty detailed, you can stop and hide in places like closets or bins while the wolf looks for you, you can go up and down stairs and into rooms etc.
You never actually know where the wolf is or how close it is to you until it appears in your line of sight, it makes no noise and the game gives you no way of knowing where it is, and it’s pretty unpredictable it doesnt move at a consistent pace. When the wolf catches you there’s an animation showing it eating your character

I'm probably missing some good ones but I ran out of space. Play Aconite.
Edit: added funger and that is the only change I'll make. I do not care about what your personal definition of an indie/horror game. This post includes psychological horror cause it's horror.

Horror movie/game sequels that use the same character are so funny to me because it's like, I went through the horrors, it'll probably haunt me forever, but I survived...I survived. And then a couple years later: fuck, shit, the horrors again?! Are you kidding me?! Alright, I guess we're doing this

im reading this manga abt this divorced woman who falls in love with her neighbor and i really love the artists style because the way the artist draws her makes it apparent that theres not only something deeply wrong with her but it veers into looking like a horror manga at points
this lady has a schoolgirl crush and is a total crybaby and she looks like a creature from a junji ito manga

Somewhere in the AFTG universe there is a horror movie called The Butcher. It is very much based off Nathan Wesninski and its a mixture of a documentary and a horror movie.
One day at a fox movie night some poor freshman puts on their favorite horror movie not realizing who its based on. Eventually they get to the part where the Butcher tries to kill his wife and son (that's what everyone assumed happened till Neil popped up). And Neil who has been sitting in slight horror and fascination just goes 'fuck I hate when these depict my death like that, that's totally not how he tried to kill me.'
And everyone at the same time (baring Kevin & Andrew) realize exactly what this movie is about. Someone scrambles to turn it off but Neil just waves them away saying he wants to see what else they got wrong.
He (with Kevin's help) spend the rest of the movie listing everything they got wrong. There's even a scene where the butchers son and a couple of his friends are forced to watch him murder somebody and they both look at each-other and go 'wtf how did they know about that??'
Anyways that's how the foxes find out exactly what Neil and Kevin watched at evermore and suddenly they both make a lot more sense and at the same time not at all.

love how Solar Opposites started out as a sitcom about two aliens who can't stand each other, stuck with their teenage clones (whom they also can't stand) & a toddler antichrist (whom they view as a sort of self-sufficient free-roaming hamster?) on a stupid planet they can't stand
and 4 seasons later it's a sitcom about a family of genderqueer aliens, headed by a gay couple in a happy & horny open marriage (with a graphic off-screen sex life, despite their canonical lack of genitalia?) teaching themselves to be okay parents to their 3 kids (whose Sci-Fi Antics now slightly-less-frequently revolve around wreaking havoc on human bystanders, and slightly-more-frequently revolve around alien-clone-sibling-bonding*), to the point that the central plot point becomes "We need to provide our toddler antichrist with a stable home environment."
(also the grumpy alien husband is too busy ingratiating his family with their suburban neighbors to even remember whom or what he dislikes. what is this show)
