Others: What are you planning to do on these… ‘camps’. They’re just a waste of time if the children aren’t learning anything.
Harry: Well, I thought that each year we’d run a big project, in and around other, more fun focused, activities. I’ve got a few in mind for the first couple of years.
Others: Oh? And what are they?
Harry: The first year I thought we could try to breed a kind of invincible, but not immortal, rooster.
Others: ….why?
Harry: Well, I wouldn’t want to breed immortal roosters. That’s just cruel.
Others: Right. And why roosters?
Harry: Oh- *waves hand dismissively* in case of rogue basilisks.
Others: 😰
Others: And the other years?
Harry: We’re going to study Dementors, learn the Patronus charm, and learn why it’s a very bad idea to mess with your soul.
Others: …..
Others: Didn’t you say you were accepting 11 year olds to this camp??
Others: those sound like very...specific lessons
Harry: do they? i hadn't realised, i just do what the voices tell me to

Kanera college au hehe
Hehehehehehehe here you go (SO sorry it took so long inspiration was a little karker):
“Hey, Kanan? My new teacher says she knows you.”
Kanan lifted his gaze from the book propped against his knee and frowned at Ezra and Sabine, who were standing in front of him. “How did you get into the teacher’s lounge?”
“Unimportant,” Sabine said, waving a hand dismissively. “How do you know Hera Syndulla?”
The book nearly slipped through Kanan’s fingers, and he just managed to snatch it and return into the safety of the nearby coffee table. “Hera’s here?”
“So you do know her,” Ezra said, grinning. “She was SO shocked to know you were here. Any idea why?”
“Probably because I didn’t act like I spent much time on studying,” Kanan managed, his mind spinning. Hera Syndulla was here. Hera, musical education major, incredible pilot, and— if Kanan was being honest— woman of his dreams. He’d flirted with her through his entire senior year, until he’d had to drop out after his mom died.
After finishing his degree online, Kanan hadn’t spent a whole lot of time looking for the friends he’d had back then. Hera was an exception. He’d kept an eye on her, watched her find a good job and be just as incredible as he’d always thought she would be at it.
Which meant this was the last place he expected to find her. Lothal was a tiny city that held nothing really special to outsiders. It was also Kanan’s hometown, and there was a small part of him that wondered if she remembered that.
Don’t be stupid, he told himself. If she remembers anything, it’s how much of a pain you were in college. This would be a decent chance to make a better impression, though, and he wondered if she’d changed at all.
“Uh, Kanan?” Sabine snapped her fingers in front of his face. “You okay?”
“Fine,” Kanan said, batting away her hand. “Yeah, Hera and I were friends in college. I haven’t seen her in a while, though. Any idea why she’s working here?”
Shrugging, Ezra pointed at the doorway. “Ask her yourself.”
Following the gesture, Kanan felt his heart nearly stop in his chest. Hera Syndulla was standing in the doorway, her arms folded as she studied him with mild curiosity.
She looked a little older, but largely the same. Beautiful green eyes and dark hair braided back from her face. Kanan couldn’t help but feel a jab of pleasure when he saw the tips were still dyed green. “Kanan,” she said, and a shiver ran over him at the sound of her voice. That hadn’t changed.
He allowed himself a grin. “Well, if it isn’t Captain Hera. Good to see you again.”
