In honor of boop day, let me tell you about a tiny cute interaction I witnessed at my daycare job recently

so we had this baby, like literally only just learned how to walk, crawling around near some slightly older kids (maybe 4-5 years old). he gets pretty close to one of the older boys who’s playing with a toy castle, so I keep a close eye on them because I don’t really trust the older boys much around babies (especially when the babies try to grab their toys - they just get reactive sometimes). the baby stares at the boy, and the boy stares back at him, and after a moment the boy just reaches out, gently boops the baby on the nose with a smile, and calmly goes back to what he was doing.
