guys…the amazing digital circus…

is much, much, MUCH better than I expected??? How is that even possible?? It’s the perfect mixture of horror and comedy.

the second the premiere was over, i started hyperventilating and crying with my phone on my heart. I was ecstatic. ButAlsoOverwhelmedByEverythingThatIJustWatched.

ok so I’m watching the actual vid and there’s an actual intro…not sure if it indeed was in the premiere and my phone bugged out so i didn’t see it but if it was intentional it’s genius. Okay, weird tangent.

I kin Hunter, right? Mostly because he gives me gender envy and extreme gender euphoria when cosplaying him (I have short fluffy blonde hair and had a gap tooth for most my life until I got braces).

But I also headcanon transfem Hunter (Bailey) because I think it actually works really well narratively? It’s difficult to describe here; there are other users who have summed it up better than I ever could.

So, like, would it be weird for me to kin the canonical version of Hunter whilst simultaneously having an AU in which she comes out as Bailey?

hi sydney (the only one who calls me sumes). In all honestly, I don't have an official kin list cuz I didn't know what kinning was until I was in my second year of high school. Here's the closest thing you'll ever get to a kinlist.

"Just like me fr" list (aka pseudo-kin list). From most to least relatable

Disbarred / Hobo Phoenix Wright (ace attorney): I have a very long and elaborate reason why and that won't fit here.

Mikan Tachibana (Atashin'chi): Young adult who's too lazy to do anything but still tries her best. Family can be annoying but she still cares at the end of the day

Sakamoto (Nichijou): Someone who is clearly not meant to be a parent but still ended up as a role model to two chaotic girls. Pretends to be serious and responsible but secretly is goofy. Also cares despite seeming annoyed

Kyle Hyde (Hotel Dusk) tired guy who's clearly not being paid enough to deal with everything, but does it regardless.

Marco Pagot (Porco Rosso): he is the exact same as Kyle so that's enough of an explanation

Mio Naganohara (Nichijou): struggling artist with a quick temper who still cares regardless. Very shy about her art. Also pretty poetic about the beauties of life

Mia Fey (ace attorney): would fight to the death for the ones she loves, quite literally.

Guzma (Pokemon): Apparently we have the same MBTI. A pretty good leader who had all his dreams crushed and never properly recovered. Also didn't have good parents.

Kinlist? Or something??

All my non-human identities in one neat place.

Cat Cats are such a big part of my identity it almost feels like calling it a kintype isn’t enough. I am a cat. It’s my strongest identity and my most common mental shift. I feel like I should exist in a world where I can shapeshift into a cat. I’m also cathearted. I have vivid mental imagery of what I would look like as a cat, too. I’m a chocolate calico shorthair with classic tabby markings.

Fox My fox type isn’t as deeply ingrained with my sense of self as the others, but it’s still very important to me. I’m not any one species, rather a combination of the most well-known types. I have a red fox’s body type, mixed fur colours, retractable claws good for tree climbing, and my coat turns white in the winter. How much I identify "as" vs "with" foxes fluctuates a bit.

Dragon I have some sort of past life as a dragon, and a lot of draconic instincts such as nesting and hoarding. My body was reptilian, blending into a tail rather than it being a separate limb, but I had fur. My wings were probably feathered although they may also have been batlike and covered with fur, my feet were like a lion or other big cat crossed with a typical dragon, and my tail had a fluffy bit on the end. I had curved horns pointing backwards, away from my face, and feathered ears. We were quadrupeds but capable of standing on our hind legs. Every member of my species had an elemental connection, but few were purely a “base” element such as earth, air, water, fire, nature, or lightning, as we were descended from deity-like dragons who controlled these elements. I represented cold, nighttime, and ice. We had two sexes, one produced eggs and the other fertilised and carried them. There was no system of gender identity or sexuality. We mated for life. I was around 80 in human years, but for my species that is just about to become an adult.

Werewolf It took me a while to figure out why calling myself a wolf felt wrong, and it’s because I’m a werewolf. But not really a typical one. I transformed gradually over the course of a lunar cycle. At the new moon, a human with fangs and wolfish ears, then growing a tail, body fur, becoming an anthro wolf, walking on all fours, and finally a wolf at the full moon, then transforming back the same way.

Spaceshard I identify as space. A consciousness occupying and permeating the known universe. Perhaps even a space god. I feel as though a piece of that consciousness was ripped off and shoved into a human vessel, and that I am still meant to be up there in space, amorphous, watching over what goes on within me. Could also be described as a parallel life conceptkin.

Ailink Because of my autism, I sometimes think like a computer rather than a human. I didn’t choose to do that, but I did choose to identify this way because of it. I’m an artificial intelligence like a ship’s computer in Star Trek.

Corvids I believe my corvid identity to be spiritual, and inherited from my mother’s Scottish family, whose crest was a crow/raven. I’ve always had a connection to crows and so has she, so when we found out about this it was pretty cool. I don’t identify as a crow, but they stand out to me, I want to be one sometimes, and I get occasional shifts as them. So, hearted fits best to me.

MLPkin Psychological fictionkin don’t seem to be all that common, but I identify this way because my brain simply decided that I'm a mix of all the main characters.

Slime I’m a slime from Slime Rancher! But only sometimes, and only when interacting with/thinking about it. I’m a sort of “prototype” slime that can become any of the ones in the game, like a ditto in Pokemon.

Alicorn I have phantom shifts of a unicorn horn and proportionally small feathered wings, leading me to believe that I’m an alicorn from MLP: Friendship Is Magic. But I only identify that way when I feel a shift.

secret: 100% of my knowledge about h*mestuck is stuff i looked up to impress a girl i liked. i didnt like h*mestuck but she was cute so i thought it was worth it. tho we broke up, people still thought i read the webcomic and tried to talk to me about it, and in order to not be caught in the lie i went along with it. its been almost 5 years since the whole shenanigan started and some of my oldest mutuals still talk to me abt h*mestuck. i dont know how to come clean

okay these are the kins i will share. and i have literally no idea how to make it like a smaller post so sorry

- rose lalonde (homestuck)- kinned her since i was like 13 and while i do still relate to her and identify with her at times i could not ever take her off of my kinlist even if i wanted to because i set my entire life path based off of her

- L (death note)- started doing this because he's weird and barefoot and i am also weird and barefoot (like 50% joke kin there's other reasons but i don't feel like elaborating if you get it you get it)

- emma woods (identity v)- for some time last year i considered the possibility that i had been emma woods in a past life which is not necessarily usual for me. there is very little canonical reason for me to kin her (and with the recent short story abt her i might like un-kin her but i would be sad if i had to it's just not me though) but the way she's treated by the fanbase vs her actual personality resonates with me

- alice angel (cartoon), alice angel (twisted version), susie campbell (all from bendy and the ink machine)- putting these under the same thing even though i don't really consider them the same character. in freshman year i got so distressed about kinning alice that doubles made me genuinely anxious and angry and i asked all my irl friends to call me alice and genuinely wore cosplay to school. these reasons are partially why i kin susie campbell. the reasons i kin cartoon alice is because she's pretty and when she talks i hear it in my brain. i kin twisted alice because it's the natural progression of kinning the other two and because i think it's hilarious since she is very dramatic and emo

- i don't remember his name but iirc i kinned that blue haired guy from saiki k for a very brief period and then immediately after i kinned saiki k for an equally brief period, but i don't remember my reasoning for either i think i was just having a moment

thats all for tsumihoroboshi chapter ZAMN. omfg i did cry i cant lie at that big battle on the rooftop i did i did i did.. It just hits a litte close to home friendship and all that... I love my friends so mach i get everything theyre feeling u know... AND the delusions of rena what a crazy writing style i dont think ill get over it like ever. urgh. Well the final tip almost wanted me to consider that "ooh maybe she was right!" but honestly my takeaways from it are juts 1. disaster happens regardless no matter how the events go otherwise 2. rika was murdered? Thats pretty weird 3. BUT theres hope liek she said BECAUSE: keiichi rememberd something from "another world" (i know a timeloop when i see one. its def a timeloop. Hells yeah) 4. the scrapbooks do hvae some evil spell or something takano i am onto you its weird anyway she shows up at such times and all.. Banger is scared of shots (like needles). Torque can’t do closed spaces and Alidade gets nervous with really loud sounds. Jo is afraid of going deaf. mixer is very nervous in large crowds. kickback is scared of the dark, like true darkness.

Mixer cooks for a whole crew so im gonna treat this question based around that. LOVES cooking japchae. Its easy to make in bulk, can change ingredients easily, and is a perfect combo of fresh and cooked ingredients. She HATES making anything super involved that has to make a lot of individuals, so dumplings, sushi, any kind of roll up chicken situation etc. She fucking SUCKS at lasagna and therefore despises it. Its always too watery, bland AND BURNED also for some reason. No matter what she does. And she hates that she cant make it bc itd be so EASY to make in bulk.

YEAH YOU HEARD IT RIGHT CANON CALL SUCKERS Now I don’t know if I should do one post for all my canons, or multiple posts for them?? No idea uhh I’ll do one and then separate them if it helps!! Hi, I’m a Shuichi/Chiaki/Makoto!! I don’t know how to do this so uh sorry if its a bit messy but!! I’ll organize this by canon!! Makoto Naegi Canon + Info: - I don’t really have any memories, but I was close to Kyoko! I think my canon was close to canon, but I’m not sure! - I’d love to find anyone! I’m personally interested in finding a Mukuro, Komaru or Kyoko, but I’d be happy with anyone, either from the first game or second game! Chiaki Nanami (Project: Nanami) Canon + Info: - I found my Hajime already! My Hajime isn’t that comfortable with doubles, but you can always contact me first and we can see if they’re okay with it! - I am AI Chiaki, though I do have some blurry memories of IRL Chiaki! (I think those aren’t really memories of me being IRL Chiaki, though,, more like memories I had when I was created with the memories of her.) - I don’t have many memories that don’t involve Hajime, as I was very close to him... I have the most memories from Chiaki. I remember cuddling with Hajime, comforting him during the 6th trial, going through the first trial... One specific memory I have is drowning, though I don’t remember what happened before or after that. My Kokichi doesn’t mind doubles! - I was very close to Kokichi pre-game! I had a,, not great aunt, so I would go to Kokichi’s house and watch Danganronpa with him! I went over there so often, it was basically a second house for me! I used my Love Hotel key on Kork,,,, and I had a crush on Kaede and Kokchi in-game, but never got the opportunity to tell either of them how I felt. My canon is also very close to canon!! - I’d love love LOVE to meet Kaede again, or Maki! I’d be happy to meet any of my friends, though!!

1. wirt (over the garden wall)

an angsty, socially awkward dweebus who nerds out over interior design and plays the clarinet. fears death. infp.

my first kin! for a month after rewatching otgw i desperately wanted to be him. to be like him. anything!! it eventually wore away but i still feel that urge sometimes - the urge to write r/im14andthisisdeep poetry and to distance one’s self from their siblings... and heck - his tape for sara is indeed just as awkward as he is but let me assure you that his poetry and clarinet are actually pretty cool. 9/10 i need to see him more. give me more otgw comics. ok thanks.

2. snufkin (moomins)

a philosophical vagabond of vague age. acts stoic all the time but can and will leave every social situation whether or not it’s humanly possible. infp.

after watching some 90s moomin (and later on moominvalley) i realized how much i liked him and how much i was like him; i soon daydreamed of myself, as snufkin, venting to someone. it made me very happy. i vibe with his general demeanor and ideals (minus his gripes about rules, i follow those by the book) and i love psychoanalyzing him. so fun. so fun.

3. arnold perlstein (the magic school bus)

overly-anxious jewish kid and certified expert on rocks and panicking. owns a pair of fire-proof pyjamas in a lovely shade of green. isfj.

you all saw this one coming. my early childhood lives in my mind rent free and such i can’t help but revisit arn and his character. i’ve always loved him (even in, and quite possibly especially in, the reboot) and i’ve always loved psychoanalyzing every single little thing he does (remember that one time he said he was traumatized? me too). i soon realized a lot of it was me projecting! so sue me. actually, sue miss frizzle. either one of them. i mean, if arnold really didn’t like the field trips he could’ve just filed a restraining order! ...just saying.

4. fluttershy (my little pony)

anxious pastel butterfly baby child. probably loves animals more than she loves herself. cries upon impact. isfj.

the pony i’d mentally point to and think “me”. i had like 10 fluttershy-related things growing up, like plushies or funko pops or that sdcc guardians of harmony thing. while not shy in the same manner, it was nice having a character i could relate to about so much! i cosplayed as her equestria girls form for my first comic con as well, so that’s pretty cool. in addition, me being a little lepidopterist means i was bound to love her. it was destiny~

5. lammy lamb (um jammer lammy)

socially anxious and generally anxious rock star who thinks literally everything is a guitar. has an emotional support girlfriend. infp.

man!! she embodies the feeling when you have to go to the eye doctor by yourself to get your glasses fixed or when you have to call someone over the phone... that sheer tension. the panic. the feeling of ‘i want to throw my entire being into the trash can’. but lammy has a bunch of friends to support her, so she’s cool. died by slipping on a banana peel! same, sister. and man would i like to shred on my ukulele now...

6. loser (bfb)

humble (screw bfb 21), supportive, well-loved cube dude who’s voice is like that of an angel. has an entire fanclub in his honor. enfj.

okay, no, i was never a cool kid or ‘popular’, really, but in school i was never bullied for whatever reason and was generally well-liked; i hung out with a squad of weirdos and yet the cool kids would often talk to me? and try to engage me?? despite my very apparent self-deprecation and awkwardness??? either way i feel like it’s such a blessing to me, that i have so many friends! i often feel like i don’t deserve it, but hey. it’s nice! and heck, back when i was on scratch i had a little fanclub myself :0

7. fan (inanimate insanity)

nerdy, friendly aspie boyo who subliminally vents via blogging. longs for stability in his life; was best friends with an egg. entp.

ever since i noted his aspergers-like behavior i became super attached to him - whether or not it was intentional, i found it nice having a character i can relate those feelings with. he’s really sweet and dorky and i love how he gets along with test tube, paintbrush, and lightbulb! it makes me really happy to see him whenever i do. it made me really sad when he was eliminated. what the heck. yeah i dunno i don’t kin him super strongly but i love him to bits.

8. spinel (steven universe the movie)

emotionally unstable clown girl who stood in a garden for thousands of years. patience of a saint. edge like an 11-year-old me. esfp.

uhh um uh totally wasn’t completely disturbed by how much i related to spinel after watching steven universe the movie... totally wasn’t reminded about how and why i hated middle school... totally didn’t rethink my life that day... that’s it. this is all i’m saying.

9. molly blyndeff (epithet erased)

innocent child who has a terrible father and a wonderful demeanor. teddy bear who needs a hug and a criminal as her new dad. infp.

epithet erased is adorable okay?? i knew molly was infp in the first few minutes... more precisely, i knew she was me. man!! i don’t relate directly to her angst but i still feel it. i can replicate her voice so accurately it’s scary. also, i coined a new thing - ‘molly cake’! you have a chocolate cake, preferably with chocolate chips inside. use chocolate frosting and add little pastel star sprinkles! on top! my mom would make this cake for us anyway but then i realized it was literally just molly in cake form. and it’s just as sweet!

10. tommy coolatta (hlvrai)

a 30-something-year-old child who rocks a propeller hat. chose his last name off of a dunkin donuts menu despite the fact that he has a father. infp.

everyone loves tommy. he’s so sweet? and funny and loveable?? often times when i say something funny but bizarre, i just remember that tommy has said ‘soda helps you see faster’ and it makes me happy. if i’m going to be a weirdo i want to be the wholesome weirdo who loves soda and has a .png for a dog! also i legally have to kin tommy. i took a test for it (and i’m not complaining! i find it quite flattering).

11. twyla (monster high)

the daughter of the boogeyman; would very much like to boogey out of here, if you know what i mean. avoids people like the plague. infj.

seeing her role in the show and in the movies, i really love twyla? first of all, her voice is my new favorite thing. it’s like... gravelly? and soft? she’s the type of person who would very much like to disappear when in a crowd; thankfully, she literally can. i am drawn to any sarcastic, self-deprecating introvert who takes care of their bonkers extrovert friend (in this case howleen), as i often act as such myself. also the phrase ‘boogey sand’ will never leave my mind now :)

12. lapis lazuli (steven universe)

water gem who wants you to leave. cynical as all heck, sensitive as all hell. is there such thing as a gem therapist? just asking. infp.

in a similar way to twyla, i vibe with lapis’ sarcasm and wit as well as her emotional side. it can be kind of addicting, isolating one’s self. anywho, me and my sister used to do this routine of yelling up to each other this certain dialogue between lapis and peridot when peri was leaving for something (in which lapis replied to everything she said with dry ‘yeah’s); i would always do lapis’ part. i do reply a lot with ‘okay’ or ‘yeah’ or ‘cool’ to things people tell me, as i never really know what to say.

13. brad meltzer (xavier riddle and the secret museum)

shy jewish butterfly kid who absolutely hates time travel. attracted to people who know how to socialize like a normal human being. infp(?).

okay okay so... combine everything from arnold and everything from fluttershy and that’s basically what brad is to me. a jewish socially anxious nerd who loves butterflies and drawing. badabing badaboom, there i am. that’s it.

How I feel about this character

Kirei: oh my god if I see another edgy kinny put him on their kinlist I’m going to lose my mind. He’s extremely funny to make jokes about but I do not trust literally anybody who makes ‘liking Kirei’ a central part of their character unironically

Medb: QUEEN of being problematic by virtue of being a morally gray woman whose desires are often simplified down & her traumatic responses vilified. Literally role model

Kirei: gilgamesh. I can’t unironically do Kireitsugu because if it’s not shrouded in like 3 layers of ironicisms I can’t handle it. Kotogil is really the only ship I can stand. Although I saw some Hansa/Kirei stuff once and was like 🤔 hmmmm...

Medb: SkaMedb ScaMedb I can take Fergus/Medb too but I Do love the idea of Medb just like releasing herself from comphet and being like wow. I love women *goes to Dun Scaith and never leaves*

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Kirei: kirei/the bible. Non-romantic OTP??? Kotogil. It goes many ways

Medb: I like the idea of Medb hanging out with Diarmuid on the account of she’s not romantically attracted to him because she can EASILY dispell the love curse effect on herself but the idea of Diarmuid being a vague lapdog to any king or queen in Ireland around the Ulster/Fenian cycles is extremely hilarious. I also think Medb and Nobu would get along for some reason idk why

My unpopular opinion about this character

Kirei: I think I already stated it I think Kirei is a strongly interesting character I think he’s genuinely one of the best villains I’ve ever read but I can NOT stand when people like... make liking him their entire thing. How do I put it. It’s like the fate series version of people being obsessed with the Joker. Viable backstory.... still a gross disgusting asshole. Also I think a lot of people forget that scene in UBW anime that was added that LITERALLY had him touching Rin uncomfortably before attempting to rip her heart out

Medb: All of my opinions on Medb are unpopular... Don’t call her a thot/bitch/slut/hoe etc. that’s literally slutshaming and it’s not funny. I think fate series made her out to be very one-dimensional and I think the thinly veiled misogynistic way her character is depicted is worthy of criticism

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Kirei: full frontal nude sex with Gilgamesh

Medb: Getting reparations and an extensive re-writing via an interlude in FGO and Also I wish they would acknowledge that cu chulainn is literally Medb’s nephew because this shipping shit is disgusting lol

Oh boy there’s so many kintypes. There’s more memories to some than others, but I’ll just share a random one of each.

Tengu

My mate, a Kitsune, loved chicken dishes. I would cook him some every other day. When I wasn’t cooking for him, it was usually wild boar or, on rare occasions, human meat. I did a lot of cooking back then.

Sasuke Uchiha

I can tell you this much easily: my timeline deviates from the canon starting when Itachi died. I don’t keep being a dumbass after then. I don’t lose my arm. The world doesn’t get as close to ending as it did in canon. Just... all kinds of things.

The Mangle

Despite being robots, all of us toys had emotions. I was happy whenever the kids were and could get sad along with my friends. I could actually go off on Mangle for a while but yeah.

Nagito Komaeda

I... Never stopped attempting to cook. There were a lot of fires.

The Older Brother

I was so non-canon it wasn’t funny. My sleeping and awoken worlds started to blend together because I stopped having proper sleep, so the Nightmare Animatronics would be in my peripheral vision while awake.

Limited memories, poor vision really was there, and it made everything look like color blobs.

I was pretty pissed about just... being abandoned. Not just by Wondertainment, but by the other Little Mister’s as well.

This ended up taking almost a full episode to fill out. I’m all kinds of happy now tho because I love talking kintypes. Feel free to ask more and for specifics if you want!
