I need to stop watching creepy videos before I go to bed

#I got into bed and heard my mum get up complaining that I hadn't turned the hallway light off #which I swear I did #but I was like whatever I must have just forgotten #then got up to go to the bathroom about an hour later #came out and the hallway light is on #nobody else got up or I would have heard them #maybe I accidentally turned it on on the way to the bathroom without thinking?? #but I don't usually turn it on because it's just a straight walk down and I can do it in the dark #and the hallway light is just generally really weak so I rarely use it unless I'm going up or down the stairs #and I don't remember noticing it being on when I went into the bathroom #like everything was dark like it usually is when I get up in the night #ahhhhhh I'm so freaked out now #the freakiest part is there's a second switch for the hallway light downstairs #please say nobody has broken in and is messing with the light #I've been watching so much true crime and horror stuff I'm freaking myself out
