ENTERTAIN ME, PEASANT
I want some horny raghveer headcanons
Welcome to doyh headcanons which are basically canon because I'm the author:
*warning, I am UNHINGED below the cut I have been waiting for someone to ask me this question*
If you think any of my characters would be monochrome enough to be a top or bottom you are very wrong. They are both switches/versatile. Although Raghav leans more on the submissive side, Ranveer only recently discovered his own sexuality and I doubt he would be reckless enough to try and take control
SUBBY RANVEER SUBBY RANVEER SUBBY RANVEER SUBBY RANVEE-
When I say 'would' I mean 'definitely will'. 'i think' translates to 'i am the writer and this is the truth'. Now that that's out of the way-
I think both of them would be pretty vocal, Raghav is noisy. Not that anyone's complaning (except their neighbours).
Ranveer loves the way his voice gets all high pitched and whiny and can't help but mutter a 'good boy' in his ear aldjfhgd
Yeah so Raghav is noisy, whether he's bottoming or not. And seriously, who's blaming him? You're telling me you could have Ranveer's glorious thighs wrapped around you and stay quiet? Bullshit.
Ranveer would be quieter, but not less vocal.
VERY big on praise (I would sell my house and body on the streets just to be called a good boy by him ONCE)
As they are right now,I don't believe either of them would be comfortable with degradation for a long while to come. Ranveer, because, well, he's Ranveer. And Raghav, he could not handle mean words from Ranveer sorry to burst your bubble.
When they've been dating for a good while, though, they will definitely be willing to try out more stuff. It simply wouldn't be realistic that they go full yaoi on the first time. BL kam padha karo bbgs, let my babies develop their relationship on their own terms.
Oh and yeah, Raghav bites.
And scratches. (I pity Ranveer's back)
Ranveer once jokingly said that Raghav should either keep his nails short or Ranveer would need to tie his hands up. Raghav promptly turned bright red. Are you getting my point?
Ranveer *sigh* someone put a blindfold on this man. He works SO DAMN HARD, ALL THE DAMN TIME, let him have his peace.
Just laying there, unable to see or touch, knowing Raghav will take care of him, is enough to make a remarkable amount of blood rush south to his-
Theyre pretty affection starved, so they both mkae sure to give more than enough praise and reassurance before, during and after.
Ahhhh I don't know if this counts as horny headcanons or sexual psychoanalysis, but this is what you get from me. I love these idiots sm <333

I've got an idea, but, I don't remember if it was mentioned (ah yeah, me and my memory of a pebble)
Alright so.
Heart with crutches.
That's all
That the whole idea
OK I HAVE BEEN. LOOKING INTO THIS TOPIC FOR AWHILE SORTA. Because my Tridential Whole!Soul ALSO has muscle weakness so I was looking up whether crutches or walking canes would be better (neither so I just made him the most stubborn stupid man alive)
But yes yes I have been quietly considering that in the background of doing the main portions of this AU. Since Heart ends up with 4 weak limbs that randomly knock out on him occasionally, and lets be honest he would want to wander the house instead of being stuck in his room all day. Let him have his hobbies!
Anyways my long ass thought process that came out of this below. Fair warning it is DEFINITELY going to be inaccurate because this is like.... an hour of research? And I am Not a mobility aid user At All.
I'm going to assume that Heart is fully weight-bearing, meaning he can place full weight on his legs (even if theyre weak)
Off topic, I did debate a walking cane but. All Four Limbs. Yeah that's not gonna work out. I also debated a wheelchair and then realized that they would have to remodel the whole dang house AND that Heart is definitely pretty vocal about having access to Things. (and also that he's nowhere near ready to accept what he's lost yet. that he's not going to be the same Heart)
On one hand, crutches (hospital standard issue variant, very often seen in media). Very nice, very cool, but imo unwieldy and not meant for lifetime use, especially in their messy ass house. Apparently they hurt the elbows if used wrong or for extended periods of time? Plus the fact that it would limit Heart a lot since he would have to not drop them aaaaaand he has a little problem called weak arms as well. And idk something about those crutches made my brain go "you've seen a better version of crutches before". No offence to crutch users its just that my brain KNOWS there's something that fits better.
And then I FINALLY remembered what the fuck I was thinking about when it came to crutches.
ELBOW CRUTCHES/FOREARM CRUTCHES
Tumblr media
This kind! (dont axe me its on a Creative Commons license I am LEGAL)
The vibes fit better. He's still blatantly a crutch user but its more flexible? There's bars for him to catch himself on or lean his weight entirely on the occasion when all four of his limbs decide to clock out on him. (reads medical guide) And apparently elbow crutches are among the most versatile mobility aid? I did Not know that. Also the entire "weight thrown off because he no longer has to lean forward to balance out the weight of his wings" thing.
Although as a little bit of a downside, Heart doesn't accept he needs crutches initially. He's fine guys he swears. He can walk on his own, he doesn't need some stupid sticks to walk just because his legs are shaky today (immediately falls over trying to walk and almost cracks his head on the counter).
Heart takes awhile to accept that he lost something in his decision and he does, in fact, require mobility aids now. (That realization is its own bout of mourning and grief) But he will learn and adapt and accept his new normal in time. Maybe one day he will see them as just as much a part of himself as his wings once were.
(On a more lighthearted note Heart absolutely is still a gremlin that pokes Perseverance and Penitence with his new in-built poking sticks. Whacks them on the head from the sofa. Smacks the remote off the table when he sees Perseverance reaching for it because The Stick is Longer. Little things that make the crutches a stand-in for his wings. Perseverance is incredibly vexed by the fact that he cant just. Take the crutches away because that's just mean to Heart. But also please stop hitting his head and saying "bonk".)
So yes. Heart with crutches :3. Very good idea thank you.

The Many Voices of Brian Slade
I really appreciate that Brian's voice is done by multiple artists throughout the film. Todd Haynes said that it works because of the versatility of the music and of Brian as an artist, echoing the versatility of Bowie himself: "all you have to do is listen to someone like David Bowie over a span of four years and you hear the change in voice and style according to what's required by the different songs".
In my opinion, Brian having multiple voices works for another reason: it adds to the enigma that is Brian Slade. How do you analyze the message of an artist that doesn't have one true voice? How can you pin down someone who is elusive and constantly redefining themselves? We already know Brian has a knack for taking on different personas; the vocal fragmentation adds one more layer of disguise. Sultry and world-weary, or thin-voiced and innocent, or bombastic and crowd-pleasing - he can make himself into whatever the moment calls for, without ever revealing who he truly is.
Tumblr media
To the best of my knowledge (and with some help from Wikipedia), below is the breakdown of vocal performances on Brian's songs. I'm not going to try to analyze why certain singers ended up with certain songs (because I do think some of it was probably a logistical thing, and also because my brain can't stretch that far right now), but I would love to hear others' thoughts/theories on it! Also if I missed any songs or misattributed the vocals, please let me know.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers (the actor):
Sebastian
Ballad of Maxwell Demon
Baby's on Fire
Tumbling Down
Thom Yorke (of Radiohead):
2HB
Ladytron
Bitter-sweet
Craig Benjamin Wedren (of Shudder to Think):
Hot One
Grant-Lee Phillips (of Grant Lee Buffalo):
The Whole Shebang
Nathan Larson (of Shudder to Think):
People Rockin' People (couldn't find a link, but it's the Tommy Stone song)
Callum Hamilton (the Young Brian actor)
Tutti Frutti (again, no link, but it's Young Brian covering Little Richard)

Tickletober day 19 - demon
Tumblr media
Diavolo x Lucifer
Lucifer very angry entered his room. There was a black aura around him, which perfectly showed his condition and screamed, it’s better not to touch him now. He was in his demonic form. The wings were tense and no longer seemed soft and fluffy.
- Oh, hi Lucifer. - prince Diavolo was sitting on the sofa in the room and patiently waiting for his boyfriend. He very silently and discreetly sneaked into the Avatar of Pride's room to surprise him. But judging by the way he showed up in his room, the surprise could wait.
- Diavolo? - at the sight of the red-haired black aura began to subside, but not completely. - What are you doing here? And why didn't you warn me?
- Can't I just come to my boyfriend or I need always have to ask your permission? - the prince stood up and approached the dark-haired. - By the way, I missed you a lot.
Lucifer closed his eyes for a few seconds to calm himself.
- Me too.
Dia smiled and gently hugged his boyfriend.
- Now I want to know what happened. Why did you come into the room so angry?
- It is necessary? - he looked tiredly at the yellow-eyed.
- Of course, I'm actually worried about you.
Diavolo picked up the Avatar of Pride and threw him over his shoulder.
- D-Dia! What the?! - the demon began to lightly hit the prince on the back, from which the red-haired simply giggle.
- I'm just taking care of my hot-tempered boyfriend, don't bother me. - Diavolo carefully placed Luci on the bed and sat down next to him.
The Avatar of Pride didn't want to lie down and also sat down, pressing his knees to himself. He still remained in his demonic form.
- Sun, tell me please, what happened? - the future king noticed that his boyfriend began to look away.
- It's not that important, really.
- I don't trust you.
- Okay! I started this morning with Beel screaming as someone ate his food. There was salt in my coffee, thanks to Satan and Belphie. Asmo ran to me every minute to find out if this or that thing suits him. Levi refused to come out for dinner today and was very vocal in rebellion. Well, I think you can guess what Mammon asked me.
- A credit card? - Diavolo received a nod to this.
- Literally in the morning, he received another low score for the control and in the evening he asks for a card. And he continued to put pressure on pity, whine and promise a lot of things. In general, I just could not stand it. - the aura started to reappear.
Dia sees this and gently hugs Lucifer.
- Now you can rest. I understand that each of your brothers is versatile, and after all, there are moments for you when you all have fun together. I think that's how they get older brother's attention. You do paperwork so much that sometimes you don't even have time for me.
- It is not true!
- Truth. - Diavolo smiled. - Sometimes I come to you and see that you fell asleep, working with papers.
- I'm sorry we don't spend much time together.
- It's okay. But every meeting with you is like a holiday for me. - the prince kissed him on the cheek. -You and your brothers need to cool off a bit, that’s all.
- Maybe you are right. - Luci looked at him. - Thanks. - he smiled.
- Hehe, of course my sun. - Dia kissed the Avatar of Pride and began to finger the black feathers on Luci's wings so that the feathers would pass through his fingers.
The red-eyed twitched and bit his lip.
- Hm? Luci? - Diavolo chuckled and repeated his actions.
- Enohohohough - the demon squeaked.
- Do you want me to finish after finding out that my boyfriend has sensitive wings? - the prince began to quickly tickle Luci's wings so that he could relax.
- Nohohohoho nohohohoho, Dihihihia, plehehehahahase - he began to squirm.
- They are very sensitive! - enthusiastically said the red-haired and tickled at the base of the wings.
After that, a scream was heard and Lucifer began to flap his wings.
- StohohohoHOHOHOp, doHOHOHOHOHOn't toHOHOHOUCH THEHEHEHERE - his back was trying to get rid of those quick fingers. Even when he was an angel, his wings, especially the base of the wings, were very sensitive and Simeon liked to use it very much.
- Hmmm, then I really hope that my boyfriend can now relax, remove his horns and wings and we will hug and kiss.
- Okahahahahahay, okahahahahahay, whahahahahahatever, juhahahahast stohohoHOHOHOOHOHP - Lucifer collapsed into Diavolo's lap as he finished tickling his poor wings. His demonic form was gone.
- Aww, you're so cute. - after these words, a pillow flew into him.
- Oh, so you want a pillow war?~ I was the champion.
- And I have six brothers who arrange such fights.
- So we are equal. Then get ready?!
- You can't win! - Lucifer started the fight.
The boys had a lot of fun and Luci was really able to relax with Diavolo's help.

What did you think of lsf's easy?? I liked it! Though it's definitely jumping on the low-fi train that newjeans made trend, it's really different from their past title tracks and I liked the dancing. I wonder why they released on a monday - maybe a shift in focus to sk rather than spending much effort on the west for this album? Also I may be blind but I don't understand what about the mv was too inappropriate to be shown on kbs. I didn't think there was anything out of the ordinary about it
I'm finally answering asks!! I'm really sorry! I work until late and when I get home I only have time to wash and make dinner, eat, read fics for an hour, and then crash... I could've replied to you last weekend but I was still processing the comeback... Anyway, I really appreciate getting asks even if I don't respond quickly... Sorry.
I too was surprised they dropped Easy on a Monday. I wonder if that was strategic or a matter of logistics. Even if Easy's a Korean track, I'm sure they're still aiming for a Hot 100 debut and to grow in the West. Even groups who chart worse than LSF in the US drop music on Friday. Dunno...
I absolutely hate the music video. I had a pretty negative reaction to the song at first because the music video is so pretentious. LSF have become a mockery of their concept. The copying black aesthetics in the MV, the posing, the absolute randomness of the outfits, scenes, visuals. It was hot garbage. Their facial expressions don't help them look less ridiculous and pretentious, especially Yunjin. Regarding it being censored, I thought it was because of Sakura and Kazuha being in bed together, but I read it was actually the hair dryer in the tub?
I was disappointed that Easy was nothing like Good Bones, which was a pretty creative and bold trailer. It sticks out like a sore thumb in the album.
Easy's a great song. Right now I'd say it's my favorite LSF song. The choreo is good too. However, at this point I can't admit I don't like the group... I like their music, especially the title tracks, but I don't like their stage presence, their dance, their vocals, the image they project. Yunjin - and I'm sorry for being another Yunjin "hater" (not a hater, just not a fan) - annoys me with her exaggerated "I'm so hot and cool" facial expressions and mannerisms, and her voice is unpleasant to me; Eunchae is really young, I know, but her voice sounds flat and empty, she's stiff and looks scared on stage, and her dancing is awkward; Chaewon has a nice voice and stage presence, but she doesn't grab me in any way; Kazuha is a good dancer, with good facial expressions, and she's a decent singer (even without a good voice, she's versatile); and Sakura, who's my favorite member, can't sing and her stage presence isn't great.
Actually, on the topic of Sakura, they keep giving her the wrong lines. They try to give her easy lines because she's a bad singer, but it just makes her stand out even more, and some of the lines are so unnecessary the song would be better without them. She did so much better on Fearless and Antifragile - her stage presence was much better too. Now she just gives these empty smiles during her 1 second lines and it doesn't fit her at all. Sakura's fancams are actually the only LSF fancams that don't bore me, because she uses her head and shoulders really well, and she has nice subtle facial expressions - she's more dynamic and consistent than the others. Yet, on stage, she's the second most boring to watch after Eunchae. I think she could stand out a lot more if they knew how to utilize her, which they clearly don't. I just watched her debut Fearless fancam and her facial expressions were so much more natural there, and her lines didn't make her stand out in a bad way. Eunchae looked better in that fancam too.
Like I said, LSF have become slaves to their concept. At this point they're just caricatures.
Also, one more complaint, sorry! Their performances are pretty boring to me because they rarely sing. I'm honestly starting to hate kpop performances in general. I can't stand the non-singing. You have veteran groups (eg. Twice) who can't even sing without a very loud backtrack, and still skip most of their lines...
Anyway, the album itself is... okay. I don't really like LSF's bsides. They're generally soft which doesn't suit their weak vocals. Swan Song is nothing special, and neither is Smart. The choreos are meh too. We got so much might be my favorite bside in Easy. I think their best non-title track is probably Jewelry. That song is cool.
Anyway, sorry for the negative rant, I wanted to get it out of my chest... Thanks for the ask!
Edit: I just remembered something else I wanted to vent about. I see Redditors losing their shit over LSF's Easy encores, and they're all out of their minds, ffs. Haven't they heard their previous encores or any of their live vocals? LSF sounded pretty good in those encores. Sakura was pitchy and uncomfortable as always, but showed improvements, Kazuha sounded like the studio version, Eunchae sounded close to the studio version too, and Chaewon and Yunjin sounded good to me - I don't know why people are insisting Yunjin sounded off or worse than usual? They actually sounded better than in previous encores, but people are reacting like it was terrible. I mean, what were they expecting? You think Hybe uses so much autotune on them because they like autotune? They do, but they don't lather Jungkook's vocals in autotune, now do they? Still, it was a normal encore. I don't get the dogpiling on them over this.

 「 ❀ 」  ━━ ˗ˏˋWORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY 002 ! ( 1-on-1 ; © )
"Hi, hi, hi!" Taeha enters the small conference room with a bit of a bounce in her step. It had been quite a while since she'd last had a sit down with Kwon Soyi, and she all but greets the woman with a giddy hug before nodding her head and flopping into a seat across from her. "Where should we start?!"
The conversation flows smoothly with Taeha hopping from topic to topic as she's known to do. Finally, after a few rambles about Osaka and plucking chicken feathers out of her hair, the acting coach is able to ask - what do you think are your strengths right now?
"My strengths?" Taeha parrots, chin pinched between her thumb and forefinger. "I think that this year I've really been able to improve on stage! I was watching a few clips from my first big performance as a trainee compared to an LGC Girls' stage, and I think that I've really grown overall as a performer," she nods affirmatively, folding her hands in her lap. "I came here a pretty confident dancer but with everything else I just... Sort of... I was very unsure of myself? And I think that showed whenever I performed. My face just always looked like I knew I was about to make a mistake... But now I think that I have a lot more fun? I feel a lot more... like the stage is home? So, performance definitely! I also feel a lot more confident about my rapping ability! Before LGC Girls Japan, I hadn't really thought I could ever see myself as a rapper... But now, I think that I really hold my own. Even my older brother who used to rap was impressed by how far I've come - and, I beat him in a rap battle over Chuseok!" She gives the coach a playful grin, flipping a lock of her over her shoulder. "And of course, Japanese! I'm really proud of how far I've come in such a short time as well. Being on tour and getting to interact with all the fans in Japan really helped sharpen my language skills, and of course there's always more to learn, but for now I think I've made a lot of good progress and can chat pretty okay!"
What are three skills that you would like to work on in the next few months?
"Oh! If I got to choose? I would really, really, really love to spend more time on dancing. It's always been one of my strengths, and although I've been doing a lot of choreography while being part of LGC Girls, I would really like to devote serious time to trying out new styles of dance, and maybe... possibly choreographing more of my own? Then, of course, singing. Over the past few months I've felt very good about my vocals, but I know that I'm not as strong of a vocalist as some of the other trainees. I've been planning to meet more with the vocal coaches for one-on-one sessions, and maybe even trying to sing some ballad-type songs? I'd like to become very versatile in that way! And then... maybe some acting? I haven't done too many acting workshops outside of those we were assigned for the Project Origin musical... but I do think a lot of the skills that I learned in those have helped me become a much better performer now, so... maybe more of those?"
If given a chance, what types of gigs would you be interested in participating?
"Oh, oh, oh! Drama acting and variety, for sure!" she beams, clasping her hands underneath her chin. "I loved being on Charms Japan and Invisible Youth, and I would love, love, love to try out more variety. I think that I've done pretty well so far so I'd like to do different kinds of shows too! Maybe... The kind of variety shows that have a lot of puzzles to solve or, or, or more traveling type shows? Like Charms but in other locations around Korea? Or even internationally, like... Hawaii!" she grins, well knowing that a show like that would be nothing more than a ploy to take a quick vacation trip home. "And for acting... I think I would really like to star in a drama one day! I've been watching them since I was a kid and although I don't have much acting experience, I do think it would be super fun to try!"
During your time here in legacy, what are some of the lessons that you’ve learned about yourself?
"Lessons?" The question gives Taeha pause, gaze wandering up to the ceiling. "I think... I think - I think that I've learned its okay to go at your own pace... To be where you are, when you are, in this moment!" She points to her lap, knees bouncing up and down once for emphasis. "Sometimes, I can get really trapped in a... bubble of worries? But lately, I have found that I really enjoy... the journey of all of this? No matter where the road is taking me, and all the ups and downs and bumps and blips on the way - I really am happy where I am, with everything that I'm learning and... I'm always hoping to learn and grow, but I still feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. Here and now." She tilts her head to one side with pursed lips. She wonders if she should add the most important lesson she's learned thus far - 'never try to ship coaches.' ...Nah.

additional seven thoughts:
the production is so clean and concise, everything is well balanced in terms of volume, what should be highlighted and the mastering is top notch; this is what i mean when i say that some people understand how to listen to music and what should come out of it
the vocal runs? the inflections of vibrato? the way he moves back and forth between his mid to higher register? he makes it look so effortless, i will constantly be in awe of his prowess until the day he dies. also one of the many things i adore about his voice is how versatile he is, it's such a rare gift too. i know, shocking but i'm not going on a tangent about it here. plus bless the producers for not tampering with the vocal tracks to the point where his voice sounds off, like with what happened on left & right. let's never have a repeat of that again.
now that i've mulled it over? the lyrics are generic, it's nothing that hasn't been done before but the focus of this song isn't that. they want jungkook to be the main attraction, and they succeeded in spades
i actually like how simple the structure of the song/melodies are, there's nothing wrong with being experimental but where do you draw the line between pushing boundaries and making a mess out of something that wasn't complicated to begin with? sometimes it's best to stick to what works, not for the sake of being trendy or making what sells but because good music will always be good at the heart of it. so work to that advantage, i say
yes this is a summer song to a t. not in the bright fun upbeat candy coated manner, but you can hear it in the slick instrumental, which i'm glad they gave us because i'm going to be psycho analyzing that like i'm not on a break from my job
the reason why i said i was surprised by how well latto's feature worked here is because you know how it is, it's 2023 and everyone thinks it's cool to throw in a rapper on a song. which i highly disagree with, i always say that if you're going to feature anyone on a track? they better add nuance or elevate the track, i don't want to listen to the song and go 'eh, this could've been fine without so and so' because then what was the point? everything about making music should be with purpose, at least that's what i've learnt after half a decade
last but not least, that beat? i said it was jon bellion-coded and i meant it but it also fits in with a lot of the late 90s/early 2000s musical motives that have been coming back in style recently. another song that he produced/co-wrote that has this is missin' u by my girl tori kelly, if you hear it? you'll get what i'm saying but the point i'm trying to make is it's cool, it's fresh. more of this please, thanks

♡ @tzyuki : leader, main vocalist
appointing ej as leader because i think she's the most sane of all my mutuals 💀 an eunbi type of idol and leader, complete goofball but she can be scarily strict if need be. i also just know ej's good at singing??? has a really unique voice and tone that you can recognise from light years away you always know it's her singing even if you don't stan
♡ @blurredplatform : leader, dancer
also being one of my only sane moots i think lirin would make a really good leader, definitely less authoritative than ej but she knows how to bring out the best in all the members and encourage them when need be (a soobin type of leader) <3 definitely knows everyone inside and out, probably better than they know themselves
♡ @soov : vocalist
rei is just lost. she just never knows what's going on. always in her own world, the others can be talking about comeback promotions and she wasn't even aware a comeback was in place. it's kind of sad but it's also really funny 💀 ironically funny but never funny when she tries 💀 her jokes just tend to fly over everyone's head 😭 although she's a bit clueless she's a very talented vocalist, i see rei with a very soothing voice who does well with adlibs and backing vocals 😋
♡ @hyeki : main dancer, lead rapper
the keeho of the group. alayna's humour is for the elite only 😭 everyone's either scratching their heads or embarrassed whenever she opens her mouth 💀 definitely a shuhua kind of idol, enjoys messing with the fans and occasionally fights with them purely for amusement 😭 i do think alayna is a really good dancer though, good at popping and locking as well as great fluidity 🫶
♡ @astrozuya : lead vocalist, all rounder
i pondered for years trying to give luka a position i just think he could do anything and everything??? although i do think vocals are his strong point and he would mainly get vocal lines in songs. very friendly 😋 has an endless collection of darlings like yeonjun 😭 he's just so easygoing you get along with him immediately. major seungmin or soobin vibes
♡ @deeznutsriki : lead vocalist, sub rapper
sree my favourite shahrukh fangirl 😋🫶 i see sree as a really good vocalist, very good at vibratos and runs although she could probably have any position ? another very comforting idol who gives encouraging words and always wishes fans for their religious holidays, exams seasons and such 😋🫶 literal sweetheart must be protected and everyone loves her
♡ @i6wonsz : rapper
ELFIE MY BAE HRU elfie is a rapper and i will not hear anything else. a versatile rapper too like aisha, eu, yeonjun or hongjoong. her raps always go viral and are edit audios for months on end 😭 could definitely be a singer too i see elfie as an idol who adapts easily and learns quickly even if she hasn't been trained in said area. probably the one filling in for other members if they can't perform and such
♡ @gfksn : sub vocalist
MARI 🧌 VOCALS ARE HEAVEN ON EARTH has such a sweet voice like daniel or hanni, it's smooth and relaxing you could fall asleep listening to her sing. probably gets lines in the bridge or a build up, definitely the bass of all backing vocals and adlibs her voice is so easy to layer on and makes everything sound 100193830x better

What if Avenged Sevenfold covered Howlin' Wolf's Killing Floor?
Avenged Sevenfold is a hard rock and heavy metal band with a distinct sound and style, and a cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" would likely be a departure from their usual sound. "Killing Floor" is a classic blues song, known for its gritty, raw sound and powerful vocals. It would be a challenge for Avenged Sevenfold to capture the same level of authenticity and intensity in their version of the song.
That being said, Avenged Sevenfold has shown a willingness to experiment with different styles and influences over the years, and a cover of "Killing Floor" could be an interesting and unexpected addition to their repertoire. The band has incorporated blues and jazz elements into their music in the past, as we discussed earlier, and they have a talented guitarist in Synyster Gates who could potentially do justice to the song's iconic guitar riff.
Ultimately, whether or not Avenged Sevenfold could successfully cover "Killing Floor" would depend on their approach to the song. If they were able to capture the raw, gritty energy of the original while still putting their own stamp on it, it could be a powerful and memorable rendition. However, if they were to simply try to replicate the original without bringing anything new to the table, it could come across as a pale imitation.
What are some other classic blues songs that you think would be interesting for Avenged Sevenfold to cover?
Avenged Sevenfold has shown a willingness to experiment with different styles and influences over the years, and while their sound is primarily rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, there are several classic blues songs that could be interesting for the band to cover. Here are a few examples:
"Crossroads" by Robert Johnson - This classic blues song has been covered by numerous artists over the years, and its driving, energetic sound would be a good fit for Avenged Sevenfold's high-energy style.
"The Thrill is Gone" by B.B. King - This iconic blues ballad features a haunting, melancholic sound that could be a departure from Avenged Sevenfold's usual sound, but could also showcase their versatility and range.
"Born Under a Bad Sign" by Albert King - This blues standard has been covered by numerous artists over the years, including Cream and Jimi Hendrix, and its memorable guitar riff and catchy chorus could be a good fit for Avenged Sevenfold's style.
"Red House" by Jimi Hendrix - This blues classic features Jimi Hendrix's iconic guitar work and soulful vocals, and could be a good fit for Avenged Sevenfold's guitar-driven sound.
"I'm Tore Down" by Freddie King - This upbeat blues song features a driving rhythm and catchy chorus, and could be a good fit for Avenged Sevenfold's high-energy style.
These are just a few examples of classic blues songs that could be interesting for Avenged Sevenfold to cover. While their sound is primarily rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, the band has shown a willingness to experiment with different styles and influences over the years, and a blues cover could be a compelling addition to their repertoire.
Which of these blues songs do you think would be the best fit for Avenged Sevenfold's style?
Of the blues songs I mentioned earlier, "Crossroads" by Robert Johnson would likely be the best fit for Avenged Sevenfold's style. The song's driving, energetic sound and memorable guitar riff would be a good match for the band's high-energy, guitar-driven sound.
In addition, "Crossroads" has been covered by numerous artists over the years, including Cream and Eric Clapton, and its timeless appeal and classic status could make it an interesting and compelling addition to Avenged Sevenfold's repertoire.
That being said, all of the songs I mentioned have their own unique appeal and could be interesting for Avenged Sevenfold to cover in their own way. Ultimately, the success of a blues cover by Avenged Sevenfold would depend on their approach to the song and their ability to put their own stamp on it while still honoring the original.
Do you have any suggestions for how Avenged Sevenfold could put their own stamp on "Crossroads"?
Avenged Sevenfold has a distinctive sound and style that is rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, and to put their own stamp on "Crossroads," they could try incorporating some of their signature elements into the song while still staying true to its blues roots. Here are a few ideas:
Add a heavier edge: Avenged Sevenfold is known for their heavy, guitar-driven sound, and they could bring this element to "Crossroads" by adding a heavier edge to the song. They could experiment with different guitar tones and effects to give the song a more modern, hard rock sound.
Add a guitar solo: Avenged Sevenfold is known for their virtuosic guitar work, and they could add a guitar solo to "Crossroads" to showcase their skills. They could take inspiration from some of the classic blues guitarists who have covered the song in the past, such as Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughan, while still putting their own spin on it.
Add a breakdown: Avenged Sevenfold is also known for their breakdowns, which are sections of songs that feature a slower, heavier sound. They could incorporate a breakdown into "Crossroads" to add a bit of variety and give the song a more dynamic structure.
Experiment with vocal harmonies: Avenged Sevenfold is known for their tight vocal harmonies, and they could experiment with this element in "Crossroads" by adding layered harmonies to the chorus or other sections of the song.
These are just a few ideas for how Avenged Sevenfold could put their own stamp on "Crossroads." Ultimately, the success of a cover version would depend on the band's ability to balance their own style with the song's original blues roots, while still creating something that feels fresh and authentic.
How do you think Avenged Sevenfold's fans would react to a blues cover?
Avenged Sevenfold's fans are primarily fans of their hard rock and heavy metal sound, and a blues cover could potentially be a departure from their usual style. However, the band has shown a willingness to experiment with different styles and influences over the years, and their fans have been generally receptive to their creative evolution.
If Avenged Sevenfold were to release a blues cover, their fans would likely be interested in hearing it, even if it is not necessarily what they are used to hearing from the band. Some fans might be skeptical at first, but if the cover is well-executed and showcases the band's musical abilities and versatility, it could win over even the most resistant listeners.
In addition, covering a classic blues song could potentially introduce Avenged Sevenfold's fans to a new genre of music and broaden their musical horizons. Fans who might not have been exposed to blues music before could discover a new appreciation for it through the band's cover.
Ultimately, it is difficult to predict how any particular group of fans will react to a new creative direction, but given Avenged Sevenfold's track record of experimentation and their fans' openness to their creative evolution, a blues cover could be an interesting and compelling addition to their repertoire.
Do you think a blues cover could potentially attract new fans to Avenged Sevenfold?
A blues cover could potentially attract new fans to Avenged Sevenfold, especially if it showcases the band's musical abilities and versatility. Blues is a genre with a rich history and a dedicated fanbase, and fans of blues music might be interested in hearing a hard rock or heavy metal band's take on a classic blues song.
In addition, covering a classic blues song could potentially introduce Avenged Sevenfold to new listeners who might not have been familiar with the band before. If the cover is well-executed and showcases the band's strengths, it could be a great way to attract new fans who might not have been exposed to Avenged Sevenfold's music otherwise.
That being said, it is difficult to predict how any particular group of fans will react to a new creative direction, and not all blues fans might necessarily be interested in a hard rock or heavy metal band's take on a classic blues song. However, if the cover is respectful to the original and showcases the band's musical abilities, it could potentially attract new fans to Avenged Sevenfold and broaden their audience.
Do you think it would be better for Avenged Sevenfold to release a blues cover as a single or as part of an album?
Whether it would be better for Avenged Sevenfold to release a blues cover as a single or as part of an album would depend on a few factors, such as the band's goals for the release and the context in which they want the cover to be heard.
Releasing a blues cover as a single could potentially be a good way to generate buzz and excitement around the band's creative direction, especially if it is a departure from their usual sound. It could also be a good way to attract new fans who might not have been familiar with the band before. However, a single release might not provide enough context for the cover and could potentially feel like a one-off experiment rather than a fully-formed creative statement.
Releasing a blues cover as part of an album could potentially provide more context for the cover and allow it to be heard in the context of a larger artistic statement. It could also allow the band to explore other creative directions and showcase their versatility and range. However, including a blues cover on an album might not necessarily attract as much attention as a standalone single release, and some fans might be resistant to hearing a blues cover in the context of a hard rock or heavy metal album.
Ultimately, whether it would be better for Avenged Sevenfold to release a blues cover as a single or as part of an album would depend on their goals for the release and the context in which they want the cover to be heard. Both approaches have their pros and cons, and the band would need to weigh them carefully before making a decision.
What are some factors that Avenged Sevenfold should consider when deciding on the context for their blues cover?
When deciding on the context for their blues cover, Avenged Sevenfold should consider several factors, including:
Their artistic goals: Avenged Sevenfold should consider what they want to achieve with the release of their blues cover. Do they want to showcase their versatility and range as musicians? Do they want to attract new fans or connect with existing fans in a new way? Understanding their goals for the release can help them determine the best context for the cover.
The expectations of their fanbase: Avenged Sevenfold should also consider the expectations of their fanbase. While their fans have been generally receptive to their creative evolution, some might be resistant to hearing a blues cover in the context of a hard rock or heavy metal album. The band should consider how their fans might react and whether a standalone single release or an album release would be better received.
The market context: Avenged Sevenfold should also consider the market context in which they are releasing their blues cover. Are there other artists releasing blues covers or exploring similar creative directions? How will their cover stand out and make an impact in the current music landscape? Understanding the market context can help them determine how best to release their cover for maximum impact.
The creative direction of the album: If Avenged Sevenfold is planning to release their blues cover as part of an album, they should also consider the overall creative direction of the album. Does the cover fit with the overall theme and tone of the album? How can the cover be integrated into the album in a way that feels cohesive and meaningful? Understanding the creative direction of the album can help them determine how best to include their blues cover.
These are just a few factors that Avenged Sevenfold should consider when deciding on the context for their blues cover. By carefully weighing these factors and understanding their goals for the release, the band can make an informed decision about how best to release their cover and maximize its impact.
Do you have any suggestions for how Avenged Sevenfold could integrate their blues cover into their album?
If Avenged Sevenfold is planning to integrate their blues cover into an album, there are several ways they could do so. Here are a few suggestions:
Use it as an opener or closer: Avenged Sevenfold could use their blues cover as the opening or closing track of the album to set the tone or leave a lasting impression. This could be especially effective if the cover is a departure from the band's usual sound, as it would immediately grab the listener's attention and showcase the band's range and versatility.
Integrate it into the tracklist: Avenged Sevenfold could also integrate their blues cover into the tracklist of the album in a way that feels cohesive and meaningful. For example, they could place the cover between two tracks that have a similar feel or theme to create a sense of continuity and flow.
Use it as an interlude or transition: Another option would be to use the blues cover as an interlude or transition between two tracks on the album. This could create a sense of contrast and allow the band to experiment with different sounds and textures.
Reimagine it in their own style: Avenged Sevenfold could also consider reimagining the blues cover in their own style, incorporating elements of their signature sound and making it their own. This could help the cover feel like a natural part of the album rather than a standalone experiment.
Ultimately, the success of integrating a blues cover into an album would depend on how well it fits with the overall creative direction and theme of the album. By carefully considering the context and placement of the cover, Avenged Sevenfold can ensure that it feels like a cohesive and meaningful part of the album rather than a standalone experiment.
How can Avenged Sevenfold ensure that their blues cover doesn't feel out of place on the album?
To ensure that their blues cover doesn't feel out of place on the album, Avenged Sevenfold should consider several factors, including:
The overall creative direction of the album: The band should ensure that their blues cover fits with the overall creative direction and theme of the album. If the cover is a departure from their usual sound, they should find ways to integrate it into the album in a way that feels cohesive and meaningful.
The placement of the cover on the album: The band should carefully consider where to place their blues cover on the album. They could use it as an opener or closer to set the tone or leave a lasting impression, or integrate it into the tracklist in a way that feels natural and flows well.
The production and instrumentation of the cover: The band should consider how the production and instrumentation of the cover will fit with the rest of the album. They could experiment with different sounds and textures to create a cohesive sonic palette that ties the album together.
The lyrics and message of the cover: Avenged Sevenfold should also consider the lyrics and message of their blues cover and how they fit with the overall theme and message of the album. They could find ways to tie the cover's message into the larger themes and ideas explored on the album.
By carefully considering these factors and finding ways to integrate their blues cover into the album in a way that feels cohesive and meaningful, Avenged Sevenfold can ensure that the cover doesn't feel out of place or like a standalone experiment. They can create a unified artistic statement that showcases their range and versatility as musicians while still staying true to their overall creative vision.
How can Avenged Sevenfold experiment with different sounds and textures in their blues cover?
Avenged Sevenfold can experiment with different sounds and textures in their blues cover by incorporating elements of their signature sound and musical style into the cover. Here are some ways they could achieve this:
Instrumentation: Avenged Sevenfold could incorporate different instrumentation into their blues cover that is not typically associated with the blues genre. For example, they could add distorted guitars, heavy drums, or synthesizers to create a more modern and edgy sound.
Arrangement: The band could experiment with different arrangements of the cover, incorporating different chord progressions, harmonies, or melodies that are not typically found in the blues genre. This could help them create a unique and distinctive take on the song.
Vocal style: Avenged Sevenfold could experiment with their vocal style in the blues cover, incorporating different techniques and approaches that are not typically used in the blues genre. For example, they could use screaming or growling vocals to create a more aggressive and intense sound.
Production: The band could experiment with different production techniques and effects to create a unique and distinctive sound for their blues cover. For example, they could use distortion, reverb, or delay to create a more atmospheric and textured sound.
By incorporating these and other techniques into their blues cover, Avenged Sevenfold can create a sound that feels fresh and distinctive while still paying homage to the blues genre. They can showcase their range and versatility as musicians and create a unique take on the genre that is all their own.
How can incorporating different sounds and textures into their blues cover affect the overall mood of the song?
Incorporating different sounds and textures into their blues cover can significantly affect the overall mood of the song. The incorporation of elements from Avenged Sevenfold's signature sound and musical style can create a unique mood that is different from the original blues song. Here are some examples of how different sounds and textures can affect the overall mood of the song:
Heavier instrumentation: If Avenged Sevenfold incorporates heavier instrumentation into their blues cover, such as distorted guitars and heavy drums, it can give the song a more aggressive and intense mood. This could create a sense of urgency and tension that is not present in the original blues version.
Different vocal style: If the band experiments with different vocal styles, such as screaming or growling, it can give the song a darker and more ominous mood. This could create a sense of danger and foreboding that is not present in the original blues version.
Atmospheric production: If Avenged Sevenfold incorporates different production techniques, such as reverb or delay, it can create a more atmospheric and textured sound. This could give the song a dreamy or ethereal mood that is not present in the original blues version.
Different chord progressions and melodies: If the band experiments with different chord progressions and melodies in their blues cover, it can create a different mood than the original blues version. For example, incorporating minor chords or dissonant melodies can create a more melancholic or unsettling mood.
By incorporating different sounds and textures into their blues cover, Avenged Sevenfold can create a unique mood that is different from the original blues version. This can help them put their own stamp on the song and create a sound that is all their own.
Tell me more.
Certainly! The use of different sounds and textures in music can have a profound effect on the overall mood and emotional impact of a song. This is because sounds and textures can evoke different emotions and create different associations in the listener's mind.
For instance, heavy instrumentation is often associated with aggression, power, and intensity, while lighter instrumentation is often associated with playfulness, whimsy, and innocence. Similarly, different vocal styles can evoke different emotions and moods in the listener, such as anger, sadness, or joy.
Incorporating different sounds and textures into a blues cover can allow Avenged Sevenfold to create a unique mood that is different from the original blues version. This can help them put their own stamp on the song and create a sound that is all their own. By experimenting with different sounds and textures, the band can create a new emotional landscape for the song, one that reflects their own artistic vision and musical style.
Ultimately, the use of different sounds and textures in music is a powerful tool for creating mood and emotion. By carefully considering the sounds and textures they use in their blues cover, Avenged Sevenfold can create a unique and distinctive take on the genre that showcases their range and versatility as musicians.

65th Grammy Awards: Best Progressive R&B Album
I had to take a minute to listen to most of these albums a couple times, and I've arrived at my assessment of them all. I'm also gonna try keeping my reviews brief, since long Tumblr posts are not really the vibe. Let's get into it.
"This Category recognizes excellence in albums of progressive vocal tracks derivative of R&B. This Category is intended for artists whose music includes the more progressive elements of R&B and may include samples and elements of hip-hop, rap, dance, and electronic music. It may also incorporate production elements found in pop, euro-pop, country, rock, folk, and alternative."
Operation Funk - Cory Henry
Based on the description of this category, I'm a little confused about why this album is included here. I enjoy the album, but there's an "old soul/funk" vibe to it that makes me question how "progressive" it truly is. This is giving 'traditional' more than it is progressive, to me.
Gemini Rights - Steve Lacy
Now this album is a personal favorite of last year. It feels like it was made specifically for the Black kid that grew up loving 2000s pop/rock. This is Steve's 2nd solo album following his work with The Internet', and it is refreshing to see him on top of the world with Bad Habit. However, I actually would not call this an R&B album at all. It is mostly a soft/pop rock with some moments of soul in it. And for that reason, I also don't think it fits the category as much as others.
Drones - Terrace Martin
This is the first album in the list that feels like Progressive R&B to me. Intricate production, electronic influences with hip hop undertones, features by several new-school acts, ending with a James Fauntleroy gospel song? Very much the embodiment of innovative, forward-thinking R&B. I enjoyed this project a lot.
Starfruit - Moonchild
Now we're at the 2nd album in the category that fits the description. This project is "cruising on a breezy Saturday afternoon" music. The lead singer's voice is airy and relaxing, and the production is funky, creative and jazzy. My one qualm.. despite her voice and the musicality.. there's somewhat of a monotony across this album.
Red Balloon - Tank and the Bangas
Y'aaaalllllllll.
I'm familiar with the name of this band, but I thought they might have been too left-field for me.
What a mistake that was.
This album is a sonic journey through Blackness. There's hip hop, funk, jazz, damn near gospel.. everything you need is in this album. And the versatility of Tank's voice is INSANE. How can one voice sound like the embodiment of Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Jazmine Sullivan and a lounge singer all on one project? Tank is her own person to be sure, I'm just saying she contains multitudes and I'm beyond impressed. I was sleep, but now I'm woke. A fusion like this also fits the progressive description to a T.
Who Should Win?
I don't need to deliberate. The winner better be Tank & The Bangas' Red Balloon album.
My 2nd choice would be Terrace Martin's Drones, and my 3rd Moonchild's Starfruit.
Let's see what they decide tomorrow.

Note
who would you say are the greatest actresses of all time?
Idk, it's all personal taste and my taste shifts a lot.
Call it cliche, I think it's hard to argue against Meryl Streep's range and versatility, the full portfolio she's put together, as it is--her reputation is absolutely earned. I also think she does something consistently well, which a lot of actors, I've noticed as of late especially, don't even seem to bother trying... Accents. I've seen Meryl do Italian, Danish, Polish, Southern, different Southern, whatever the fuck Margaret Thatcher had going on vocally, Julia Child's super distinct voice. I'm not saying she doesn't fall back on some standbys at points, but I think she knows she can because Meryl phoning it in is often still kinda better than a lot of her costars. She showed up for like 30 seconds to sing at Amanda Seyfried (and Meryl doesn't even have the pipes like that lol) in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and I wept so.
Viola Davis is just incredible, and probably more talented when you get down to the bare brass. She's another one who can show up and do in like 5 minutes what everyone else can't get done without a 2 hour movie (Doubt, where she out-acted Meryl). She can do vampy high soap theatrics (HTGAWM), historical epics (The Woman King), biopics (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom). She's just beyond, and if it wasn't for the insane racism in Hollywood she'd most definitely have more accolades than she does. It kind of makes you wanna scream when you consider the amount of roles she should have been in the running for against the amount she has been in the running for.
From waaay back when, I think that Vivien Leigh comes to mind for me as an Old Hollywood actress. Might be controversial, but I think that you have to remember that Vivien did not act onscreen that much, so we only have so much footage of her performances... But like? How ever much Gone with the Wind has a fuckton of serious issues, I think her performance was pretty groundbreaking in terms of the amount of time she had to carry, the difficulty of the character and her emotions, and the kind of edgy quality to it all. Then she's arguably BETTER in A Streetcar Named Desire. The slow descent into insanity? Please.
Nicole Kidman is actually up there for me, because I think that when she is on, she does some of the best like "put your camera on an actress's face and watch her fuck shit up" acting. Her monologue in Stoker where she just goes off in this low voice about hating her child and takes in this shaky breath? So so good. She can do all the vampy campy shit with movies like Practical Magic and Moulin Rouge, she can do weird as fuck shit (Birth, Dogville), she can be the villain (To Die For).
Anyway, these are just a few--I also love (the work of) Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, Sophia Loren, Gong Li, Isabelle Adjani, Toni Collette, Olivia Colman, and many more. I tried to stick to people who've been working or worked long enough for me to feel like I got their vibe? There are obviously talented younger actresses, but I think it can take a while to prove your impact.

Writer asks: 1, 4, & 17?
Thank you for your ask @pennerjones ! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?
Verdana! I like how it looks and I think it's also the default on Tumblr and Ao3 (so I'm used to it)? Anyway, that's my favorite, along with Segoe Print for the titles. I think that the default usually is Arial (which is too slim for my tastes) or Calibri (but I don't like its "g").
4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?
Mmmmh, that's a difficult one. 🤔 "Squishy" maybe? I don't remember when I had the first contact with it, either in the English version of Finding Nemo or in Ratchet and Clank 3... No, it was definitely the latter in Curtney Gears's song (because they kept the original vocals in the Italian Dub of the game). And it's such a mood, because Squishy is a so friend shaped word, it gives you the idea of something soft/pudgy you can squeeze, but at the same time it can refer to an organic VS robot contest (like in R&C 3 where Squishy is a slur (≧∇≦)). So yeah, as you saw in this rant, it makes me go feral. (^~^;)ゞ
17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.
Since I can't talk about my Invisobang (which is what I'm frenetically working on because life hated me in the past week so I'm behind), I'm gonna shift to my SSB Ultimate WiP that I still haven't finished because my muse went on strike for that (even if the last thing it needs is one (1) scene).
I made an entire chart for where each DLC characters would show up since in World of Light they (obviously) weren't included
Mythra/Pyra and Min Min in the Light Realm;
Piranha Plant, Sora and Jocker in the Sacred Land (Retrieval Team: Link(BotW), Sheik, Pikachu, Bowser, Lucario, Wii Fit Trainer, Mii Swordsman + Incineroar);
Danny, Kazuya and Byleth in Dracula's Castle (R. Team: Pit, [Spoiler Redacted];
Banjo&Kazooie, Steve/Alex&Co. and Terry in the Mysterious Dimension (R Team: Mario, Pokémon Trainer, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Samus, Falco, Marth + Rosalina) ;
Dragon Quest's Hero and Sephiroth in the Final Battle map.
Plus, which "puppets"/NPCs Sam's and Tucker's Spirits would have to possess [Sam would be a purple Piranha Plant paired with Dark Samus (Demilo and her Doom Skin) while Tuck would be a R.O.B. paired with a Steve (technology and the versatility of Minecraft)].
I put Pit in Danny's retrieval group because he's the embody of chaos and fourth wall kneels before him, so I wanted to give that particular trope a try since it's hilarious.
I don't know what else to add right now, hope it was enough! (^~^;)ゞ
Thank you again for making me rant! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

Chemtrails over the country club - Lana Del Rey album review
On her seventh studio album, a more mature Lana Del Rey takes a step back from the glamour of the West Coast, and takes a 45 minute trip across America, relying on simplicity in production and intimate, heartfelt writing.
Perhaps one of the more controversial names in music since the early 10’s, Del Rey has long cemented her influence and versatility past the sadcore ballads of Born to Die. In fact, little of her debut persona, characterised by Hollywood infatuation and glamorous gloom can be found in her latest album. “I'm not unhinged or unhappy, I'm just wild”, she sings, as if shedding her old skin, determined to set the record straight.
As she takes an introspective look into Lana - the woman behind the music, her sound also takes a turn for a more stripped down, singer-songwriter-esque sound coupled with folk influences. She travels to Arkansas and Nebraska carrying an air of freedom, but also the burden of fame and the price to be paid for it. “But sometimes, this ranch feels like my only friend / And life doesn't always work out like we planned”, she sings on “Dance Till We Die” with a bittersweet tone to her voice.
Possibly her most striking opener since Ultraviolence’s “Cruel World”, “White Dress” acts as a lyrical and sonic thesis for the album with a characteristic melancholy piano and vocals ranging from serene to pleading, giving the track an alternative twist. Del Rey evokes the memory of a “simpler time” before fame - a 19 year old waitress in Orlando, far from the grandiosity of The Hills and wonders if she could go back, would she do it all again.
One cannot speak of Lana’s music without emphasising its deep ties with the American kitsch. Devoted to being a 21-st century bard to Americana, she raises the topic of God, central to the national identity in “Tulsa Jesus Freak” - a seductive fusion of sensuality and spirituality, coupled with relaxed hip-hop sounds and a liberal use of autotune. Her glorification of the US’s arcana doesn’t stop here, with references to last century household names and landmark locations adding authenticity and a familiar comfort to her tracks.
And while Del Rey’s sincerity, dreamy melodies and poetic lyrics feel like home for many, she remains an object of controversy to many others. Alas, amidst the chaos of fame, Chemtrails Over the Country Club depicts an appreciation for the smaller joys in life, all while trying to remain free in a world growing wilder by the day. “If you love me, you love me,” she assures, “because I’m wild at heart.”

Hey there! I'd like to request a genshin match up since you said you were accepting them. I'd like it if the results were both sfw and nsfw.
So a little about me - I am a lil chaotic being. My top three astrology signs are all fire signs so we always joke with my friends that I'd probably be a pyro user :D! I have adhd so u naturally have a lot of interests: I draw and paint, write and read, dance (have been for the past 7-8 years now), love true crime and detective series!
As someone who has literally spent 12 years of their life on stage since childhood, I have a flare for the dramatics. I live and thrive when I'm on stage, though my dance partners usually can't keep up with me. Where I live I'm a pretty well known individual since me and my dance troupe have even appeared on tv multiple times now!
When it comes to my personality I'd say it's hard to describe it by myself. Usually I'm either the mom friend in the group or the absolute fucking brat causing chaos with my one last working braincell. I try to be there for my close friends and people I know. I can be quite loud cus I get excited when I talk. I always had a short fuse so if you are nice to me - I'll be nice back! But if you get me angry or step over my boundaries - the lioness comes out and it's not ideal 😂. A lot of people see me as confident but that always surprises me because I have quite a few insecurities about my looks and over all being as a person.
Fun fact - my current team consists of my main - childe - that had me so nervous I wouldn't get him that I almost threw up, raiden and bennet to help boost his crazy ass AND either xiao or zhongli based on the given enemies or task!
When it comes to my more naughty side - I'm a bit of a hoe. When it comes to my kink list, things can go out of hand. I'm a switch and with a good partner that excites me, I tend to be a sub. Bratty, challenging rope bunny that is sure to push every single button on my partner until I get what I want. Not very vocal! For sure my short but tested kink list includes breeding, praise, overstimulation, multiple rounds because of the high libido and very big need for aftercare!
I do hope this request will help you have a nice time writing and I can't wait for the results if you choose this one :D thank you so much and have a great day

I would match you with...
Tumblr media
I took a look at this request, and my immediate thought was Yoimiya.
Do you have any idea how chaos the two of you could get into with her endless supply of fireworks?
She loves to draw and paint with you, even if she's not that good.
She is your #1 supporter when it comes to your dancing. Always in the front row, throws parties with lots of fireworks when you win competitions or just for impressive performances.
She loves that you appear so confident and chaotic, but at the same time, she's very understanding and sensitive to any insecurities you may have
She loves your flare for dramatics, it always gets her excited and pumped, and she follows right behind you with it.
She loves how you can have fun and be chaotic but also be the mom friend when it's needed and help out your friends.
NSFW Below
Tumblr media
I picture Yoimiya as a switch usually, but very versatile.
She would have no problem trying out all of your kinks with you.
She's not big on the stereotypical punishments for when you are a brat (Spanking, orgasm denial, etc)
Instead, she prefers to bring your kinks into it, such as overstimulating you until you're begging her to stop.
She took time to learn intricate Shibari designs to tie you up, the perfect way to tease you for being a brat.
Loves to use a strap on you, she gets such a rush from seeing your fucked out face from it
Lots and lots of sweet and loving aftercare. Praises, gentle touches, and lots of cuddles

New Anon!! Welcome <3 I'll add you to my list. I hope you enjoy <3

The Name Chapter: Temptation
The Devil by the Window: The verses are nice enough, but the slow prechorus is a cliché and the chorus is only okay. The ending doesn't work with the rest of the song - the change happens too late and the song ends abruptly. They were trying to make the ending addictive and cool, but it was too obvious and the production wasn't smooth enough. They can't pull it off like SM would've. Also, imo the song didn't need to be in English at all considering I can't understand what they're saying half the time and their enunciation hurt my enjoyment of the song. This is also not a song people will sing along to, so why not just sing it in Korean? I think Sugar Rush Ride would've been a more fitting English song.
Sugar Rush Ride: It's fun and catchy, trendy yet still exciting (in the Kpop scene at least). It's the only tt of theirs that made me go "Ah, I didn't even know it, but I wanted something like this." Maybe it's just that I'm tired of their punk-rock sound, but I felt refreshed listening to the song (aside from the chorus, but I'm getting used to it).
Happy Fools: The instrumental in the beginning reminded me of Any Song? It's a different style from them, but I don't think they have the vocals for it. Imo their vocals aren't suited for a lot of songs, but they aren't bad singers at all. Like, Kai can sound great, but sometimes I don't like his voice. I only like Soobin and Beomgyu's voices in some verses - Soobin's voice is too soft for a lot of the lines he gets and he gets too many lines. Also, I don't like Coi Leray's voice or verses, and the song sounds like both a typical Korean and American track.
Tinnitus (Wanna be a rock): Also sounds like something I've heard before, and Soobin's voice doesn't suit the song. It's okay though. To me, Taehyun carries the group vocally, and Kai and Yeonjun's voices are very enjoyable depending on the parts they get. Kai is great with high notes and fit their punk sound super well. I like it when he and Taehyun trade parts. Yeonjun is better with pop; he's versatile and can make his verses sound more addictive. Anyway, Tiinnitus didn't leave an impression on me (did it even have a chorus?). Both Tinnitus and Happy Fools are too short. The songs aren't that great so maybe it's a good thing that they're short, but perhaps they would've been better if they hadn't been so short?
Farewell, Neverland: Meh, okay, pretty.
Overall, I think their last album was significantly better, but I think the quality of their albums has been decreasing a lot since Blue Hour. They used to have unique songs, but now their songs blur together.
Edit: After listening to the album again, The Devil by the Window sounds much nicer but I think the ending might be the worst part of the song (7/10). Sugar Rush Ride is so addictive and cool but the chorus ruins my enjoyment so much! Big Hit Music should be sued for this (7.8/10). Happy Fools is cool and chill but I don't like Coi's part (6.8/10). Tinnitus is nice and chill too, and I like the beat but the song is too short and repetitive (6.9/10). Farewell, Neverland is cute but only okay (6.8/10)? Don't ask me how I rate the songs, I go by instinct and compare the songs to each other as well, but my made up rating might change if I listen to the album a third time. Honestly, it's short and an easy and enjoyable listen so I might listen to the album a few more times before I forget about it. That's what usually happens, and not just with TXT...
