Superbat parenting babies would be a breeze in my humble opinion. Bruce's medically well-versed enough and immune to even enhanced interrogation levels of sleeplessness, and loves kids and would probably be happy reading them stories to sleep every night.

And Clark could always tell if the kid swallowed fridge magnets/batteries/something else. Also, tell me which baby wouldn't enjoy Clark's presence and calmness. They'd be like little hamsters cajoled by the steadiness of his hold.

I'm rewatching Hunter x Hunter (watched a good portion of it when I was pretty small), and I am pleased to conclude yet again that I only enjoy my favorite anime more as I age. I have more developed taste and more literacy to appreciate my media with. The new delights far outweigh the slight fading of some of the other aspects that used to draw me in.

#i am trying so hard to try to balance out who is getting a focus and who is Next Up to get a focus but i feel like. im not doing a good job #like. we move at a pretty slow pace so we end up spending a Lot of time around some characters while others just dont have the same literal #connections to the NPCs and the world around them from their backstoreis #backstories* #so it ends up feeling kind of unbalanced #but the only way to Balance it is to Keep Going #and im pretty sure my players trust me that I'm not ignoring any of them and want to make them feel special and included and featured #but i do have to like. be better about Picking Up The Pace i think and making sure everyone gets some screen time #i dont THINK people are feeling left out and I think they'd tell me if they were. but yeah. just some DM thoughts

#the whole berlin thing is so annoying #but what's more annoying to me personally is the gradual watering down of Pina's writing (at least regarding lcdp) #I know he's not writing prestige tv and I'm not saying only 'violent' writing is good #and it's not even particularly about Violence or the lack of it. vol 1 was the most violent and the worst writing of his I've seen lmfao #it got insanely stereotypical with his main characters losing their edge #Martín becoming a big no revenge softie in the span of one season #Bogotá becoming a twitter ally #whatever the fuck is happening to Berlin now lol #like compare all of this to the first part of lcdp which had this cold sharpness to it. genuinely uncomfortable scenes that left a bad taste #in your mouth even with no violence #and it was pretty balanced! it did have its fair share of heart and laughter and love and nice vibes #but it was sharp and the characters seemed very real and multidimensional and people seriously capable of harm #they were actual hardened criminals. which is the only thing that makes sense lol.
