WE'RE FINALLY BACK!!

Okay okay, I KNOW it's been a bit, and I KNOW I said I would be able to watch more now that summer break is finally here, but I've also been working a lot this summer, and I KNOW what this episode entails, and I KNOW what it kicks off, and I had to make sure that I was truly emotionally prepared to start the last leg of the season, and I HAD to make sure that I would have time to more or less binge it in the next two or three days, because I KNOW I won't be able to handle the inevitable cliffhangers and all of the emotions that will come with them.

That said....

I have LITERALLY SEEN THIS OPENING SCENE!

I have seen it SO MANY TIMES!!

ENOUGH TIMES that I could practically SAY THE LINES along with Scott and Stiles.

But that DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER!!!

MY HEART IS BREAKING AHHHHHH!!!

The absolute fear in Stiles' voice, so close to tears, but he's trying so hard not to actually break down and lose it.

The absolute panic and worry and concern in Scott's voice, desperate for answers and for his best friend to be okay and not knowing what to do.

The way he calls out for Isaac IMMEDIATELY, and Isaac just comes running in, and the immense concern in both of their faces when Isaac asks him what's wrong and Scott says "I don't know."

The way Stiles is so desperate to not involve his dad, but all the while so terrified and needing comfort so badly.

The way Scott is just aching to help him and make sure he's okay and is almost as scared as Stiles is, but all the while trying so hard to keep his cool and come up with a plan so that he can get his best friend out of there and home safe as soon as possible.

The way he finally processes that Stiles is whispering, and the expression that he makes when Stiles answers with "because I think there's someone down here with me".

I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!

BUT I ALSO LOVE IT!!

MY HEART IS CLENCHING!!!

The scene I HADN'T seen before was the Lydia and Aiden scene, and while I still think they're kind of fun, and the sexy flirting is kind of adorable, I still 100% ship Stydia, so her hearing his voice and standing up ramrod straight to listen and then realizing it's Stiles is beautiful and GOD I HOPE SHE CAN HELP SAVE HIM!!

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.
