This is eating me up inside, I genuinely want to know why is Steve so okay with putting himself down and everyone just thinks it’s fine? Like no one questions why he thinks so lowly of himself even though he’s done a lot to prove that he’s more than what the show let on. I think it’s weird how in a conversation he’ll slip in comments about himself that are negative. I also think it’s so gross that he can’t have a moment of confusion without being disrespected and I know it’s supposed to be funny but at a certain point someone should really ask “is Steve okay?” I can bet money that the answer won’t be yes.
I also want to add how come Eddie (someone who doesn’t even know Steve from a can of paint other than school) find something nice to say about him and not put him down. This also adds to my list why I think steddie is real but that’s for another time

i’m soooo sick of how buying concert tickets works these days. because it doesn’t work. the system isn’t broken—it was designed to swirlie people out of their money by pitting them against bots and adding exorbitant fees. ticketmaster *could* make the system better, but they won’t. because making it better wouldn’t benefit them. it’s just a prime example of how capitalism ruins shit. concerts are supposed to be places people go to celebrate and enjoy the music of artists they care about or, hell, even artists they’ve heard about in passing and are interested in hearing. but they don’t build community anymore. it’s just a competition for who can actually get tickets, and how “good” the tickets are, and what “special things” happen at their show. the whole process is miserable. i don’t even want to try to get tickets bc the process makes me feel like shit. even if i had the money, that wouldn’t guarantee me a ticket in any way because of the competitiveness of the system!! i’m sick of it!!! i don’t even want to think about trying to go to concerts!!

As an addendum or sequel to THIS post, here’s this.
Words of wisdom from a so-called fandom elder.
RESPECT. YOUR. FUCKING. CREATORS.
The fastest way to kill your fandom space is by being an asshole to the people writing, drawing, and otherwise creating within it. That smarmy comment telling someone you didn’t like their work? That anon ask being rude and demanding more content? Giving unnecessary criticism when none was asked for?
It’s all like Raid for fandoms - it kills them dead. If you’re really unfortunate, it can set up a domino effect which makes other creatives less likely to post content. Makes them anxious and afraid when it should be giving joy. In fact, I’ve been in a really small fandom or two in which that very thing happens.
It fucking sucks to watch someone, who has put their heart into something and usually for free, have their joy of creation stolen because someone chose to be an asshole.
If you ever have the desire to be negative or demanding about the gift that is fandom remember this - the back button is free, finding something you do enjoy instead is free, not being an asshole is FREE. But being an asshole has repercussions.
So, in summary, BE FUCKING NICE TO YOUR CREATORS OR KEEP YOUR NEGATIVITY TO YOURSELF.

The problem with this age of fiction is that EVERYTHING is a deconstruction of the genre.
“This is a deconstruction of the fantasy genre, or it’s a deconstruction of Sci-fi. Ain’t it all just so meta!?”
The problem is for something to be a GOOD deconstruction, the people writing it need to understand what made the genre and it’s tropes fun in the first place. They need to be able to construct the genre and trope.
Everyone thinks that it’s just pointing out the trope and mocking it. That’s not what it is. That’s not deconstruction, that’s mindless destruction. It’s shallow, it’s not thought provoking, it’s not clever!
Fuck the meta commentary! Fuck the Deconstructive destructive bullshit. How about try and do a classic iteration of a genre or trope. Hell, make something new. Just do something that’s not just meta bullshit that only shows how we’ve decayed as a society.

Confession seeing someone calling a fat person “huggable” angers me. It’s hard to explain but it feels like, that’s all you can say? “oh they’re so huggable” idk calling something huggable is like something you’d call a dog or a teddy bear not a person.
Something about this compliment towards fat people specifically sends me into a RAGE. Idk do yall feel the same or am I crazy?
Like come on just call them hot, attractive, cute, beautiful, ect. Saying huggable just feels like, a cop out for an actual compliment.
Idk I’m not fat but seeing people call fictional fat characters and real fat people “huggable” makes me murderous. Don’t be a pussy, call them HOT, ATTRACTIVE, BEAUTIFUL CUZ THEY ARE. FAT PEOPLE ARE FUCKING HOT AS HELL AND DESERVE MORE RESPECT.
I don’t know, I’m probably not qualified to talk about this due to the fact I’m not a fat person myself but what I’m saying is I wouldn’t call a fat person “huggable” it feels just feels patronizing, but that’s just what I think. Idk am I crazy for this?

Just because you came into my server underage and I had to kick you out for literally breaking one of the rules (lying about your age) does NOT give you permission to start sending s****de replies on my posts.
That is not only immature and attention seeking, but triggering to people actually struggling with those conditions. Please grow the fuck up, and stay off my blog.
