It’s sad that Max fans are now taking digs at Max for being loyal to that hold Man who nearly lost his integrity for getting a literal child into a racing car. He got so much criticism for his actions “he’s getting senile” I know Helmut isn’t liked by many RB fans but the job he did for RedBull was fantastic. Credit where credit is due. We as fans can’t deny what he did. Especially for Max, Max is where he is now because of Helmuts actions. And I know some of you think he’s stupid for standing by his side but Max hasn’t forgotten. And I bet it’s incredibly difficult for him rn because he also knows what Christian did for him. What this team did for him. But it was Dietrich’s and Helmuts decision to go with Max. It’s sad to see what happened to RedBull now that Dietrich isn’t with us anymore. He wouldn’t have let this happen and I bet it would make him super sad to see in what direction his dream is going now.

I think I gave up on trying to find an explanation bc nothing makes sense😩 Like if he could avoid seeing the kid in person for 3 years, why did he suddenly decide/was told/pushed to do it? If all those sighting were planned for him to talk about them in interviews later (like the la show) then what’s the point alskjs Like you said it does absolutely nothing for his career, it doesn’t push his music out there. If they want to maintain his closet there are other ways to do it, e is right there, talk about her all you want. And I’m not even gonna entertain the theory he’s bringing it up to remind people he’s a dad before ending it bc this is so unnecessary and it’s so inconsistent too, like he mentions it in some interviews then doesn’t in others. Idk, I have no clue what they’re doing and what they’re trying to achieve here but I know they’re playing a very dangerous game bc if one day something happens and this whole thing gets exposed, it’s going to be a lot harder now for Louis to say he was coerced into it (the beginning of course, but how will he explain what he’s doing now when the kid actually understands what’s going on around him?)

not to be controversial bc I know this is like…not in line with shifting opinions on fanfic comment culture but if there’s a glaring typo in my work I will NOT be offended by pointing it out. if ao3 fucks up the formatting…I will also not be offended by having this pointed out…

‘looking forward to the next update’ and ‘I hope you update soon!’ are different vibes than a demand, and should be read in good faith because a reader is finding their way to tell you how much they love it. I will not be mad at this.

‘I don’t usually like this ship but this fic made me feel something’ is also incredibly high praise. I’m not going to get mad at this.

even ‘I love this fic but I’m curious about why you made [x] choice’ is just another way a reader is engaging in and putting thought into your work.

I just feel like a lot of authors take any comment that’s not perfectly articulated glowing praise in the exact manner they’re hoping to receive it in bad faith.

fic engagement has been dropping across the board over the last several years, and yes it’s frustrating but it isn’t as though I can’t see how it happens. comment anxiety can be a real thing. the last thing anyone wants to do is offend an author they love, and that means sometimes people default to silence.

idk where I’m going with this I guess aside from saying unless a comment is outright attacking me I’m never going to get mad at it, and I think a lot of authors should feel the same way. ESPECIALLY TYPOS PLZ GOD POINT OUT MY TYPOS.
