What keeps me up at night? Thinking about how Kit went along with Ty’s plan to raise Livvy and never showed Ty he had an issue with it. Then, out of nowhere (for Ty at least), declares his love for Ty in the middle of an intense spell, and decides to run away to England after something Ty says in a moment of extreme stress and heartbreak. Leaving Ty to effectively lose two of the most important people in his life in one day while feeling like the worst person in the world. Yeah, that thought makes the nights long, not gonna lie.

mmmm. more hw thoughts to distract myself. tsukasa’s good at cooking and packs lunches for his siblings and himself ofc, but once he meets rui he also starts bringing homemade lunches to school for him. and also sends stuff back with rui for nene so neither of them are eating nothing but frozen meals or not eating at all. eventually once the group is closer and they start having sleepovers tsukasa brings food for all of them every single time. its a game to guess what he’s going to bring now. in general i like to think one of tsukasa’s love languages is acts of service and it very much applies to hw. no one is ever starving w/ chef tsukasa around. he loves his friends <3

anyways i think dean WOULD hate his younger self (at first) because he DOES see his younger self as both HIMSELF (so it doesn’t count !!) but also as a stranger he doesn’t recognize anymore (esp if it’s a pre-hell version of him) and feels a lot huge cocktail of shame / guilt / jealousy for ruining the future for his younger self AND for the fact that his younger self still hasn’t made HIS mistakes and he’s still pure and good and better than older dean thinks he’ll ever be. and also, sex work for survival and being a victim of sex abuse can make you feel shame / regret and older dean (who has neverrrrr had a chance in the narrative to deal with ALL the trauma he’s faced) likely would still carry some negative feelings toward his younger self for making those choices (even if they weren’t really choices ! even if he was often the victim !) bc older dean, even being in his 40s, has not yet learned to cope and process and heal and untangle the complex feelings of those experiences (also hell trauma and Michael possession trauma definitely retriggered and added to the trauma he already had re: his body and autonomy). And I think it’s just much more complex than dean meeting his younger self and just seeing a kid to protect. I think it can be both that AND he’s also grappling with a lot of internalized self-hate and guilt and shame. And I think exploring those themes is fun and good and narratively interesting.

#sorry is this causing drama? i just. i don’t mean it in that way but. i just think these things should be nuanced #and are not just cut and dry black and white #there are shades of grey. esp when it comes to the complex way dean views himself and all the trauma and things he’s never beeen able to #properly deal w/ and unpack #and I think it also depends on what version of late seasons dean you have meeting a younger dean #if it’s post canon and he’s happy and been to therapy then yeah he’s gonna love the kid #but before that? he’s got soooo much shit and conflicting issues w/ himself and his past to unpack #and most of the fics that have him being shitty (at first!) are abt him dealing w/ those issues #and coming to terms with himself both who he is and who he was #and learning to love and forgive himself #anyway these are all themes that I’m personally interested in exploring and I love when dean gets to heal by learning to love himself #vic.txt

Mayblade day 1: Past

I may not be able to do all the prompts for the month, but I can sure as hell trY to do sOme. I didn’t originally know what to do with this piece, but I knew I wanted it to be a little more somber and dark. I don’t usually draw Kyoya, but it felt fitting for this piece. Kyoya often gets stuck in the past of his lost battles and reflects too harshly on the things he could’ve done better, so now that I think about it, this prompt is pretty fitting for him. If anyone can not tell what the scar if supposed to mean (the big purple one I mean), it’s supposed to be a scar left over from when L-drago friCkin’ cAbObbEd Kyoya. I’m super happy with the coloring on this one. Slowly but surely I am making progress with the field of dIGitaL arT.
