synopsis. relationship headcannons with 3 of my fav csm characters (strictly fem reader for quanxi, gender neutral reader for the rest)

cw. suggestive in quanxi’s part, im just absolutely in love with her lol, mentions of vomit in denji’s part, implied modern au in aki’s part

note. my writing may be a bit different, because i’m trying something new.. i apologize 😭. i also made this half asleep.. time check 4:11 am

denji (デンジ)

to be real, denji has no clue about healthy relationships. that’s putting it mildly, right? the only ‘relationships’ he’s had were all about manipulation and brainwashing.

but hey, he really does put in the effort for you! denji’s going to do whatever it takes to make you happy, such as going bankrupt for the sake of a gift.

despite being in a relationship, denji still feels awkward around you. his shyness towards you was evident from the beginning, and now it has only intensified. please bear with him, he’ll come around eventually!

but when he does get comfortable.. denji forms a deep emotional connection with you. he’s faced many challenges, and all he’s ever wanted is to feel loved. you have become that source of comfort to him, and that means the world.

at first, his kisses can be awkward, unsure of where to put his hands, and he might even keep this eyes open. you might need to show him how to kiss properly, which can be even harder if he’s your first kiss.

he always craves cuddles, day in and out. he’s a true cuddlebug. he likes feeling the steady rhythm of your breath against his skin. whether if he’s the little spoon, or the big spoon, his sole desire is to sleep while being in physical contact with you. he finds it impossible to sleep without you.

on those days when you’re super busy and can’t cuddle with him, denji gets all pouty. it’s quite dramatic, really, how he gives you the side eye and ignores you when you try to talk about it. but, he can’t stay mad at you forever. eventually, he’ll give in and cling onto you like a koala. he’s not letting go, by the way.

he is keeping you away from power at all costs, even if you two are friends. if she ever found out that denji has a partner, she will not leave him alone. power will definitely embarrass denji in front of you, telling you about all of his flaws while he tries to stop her from saying anything else… he was never able to stop her.

on your birthday, aki attempted to assist denji in preparing a meal for you. unfortunately, it was a complete disaster and the food turned out to be unappetizing… despite aki’s desperate attempts to persuade denji not to serve you his charred creation, denji, being denji, stubbornly refused to listen. when you took a bite, the taste was so revolting that your stomach couldn’t bear it any longer. you regurgitated the ill fated meal… it’s the thought that counts, right?

overall, he’s trying really hard to be a good boyfriend, please appreciate him.

aki hayakawa (早川アキ)

this man…. phewww…

aki is the epitome of a respectful boyfriend, always seeking your consent before engaging in any action, be it a simple kiss or a gentle touch.

if you happen to be someone who tends to be disorganized and messy, rest assured aki will gladly take on the responsibility of tidying up after you. regardless of the severity of the mess, simply tell him, and he will promptly begin cleaning it up, without any judgement.

bathing together has become a regular routine for the both of you, a frequent occurrence that follows a long day of hunting devils. aki, in particular, finds comfort in sharing these type of moments with you. the soothing warmth of the bathwater coupled with the gentle sensation of your hands massaging shampoo into his hair, while he rests against your chest, brings him a new profound sense of relaxation. it’s not always about being sexual, but rather the feeling of closeness with you that brings him a sense of tranquility.

aki is like a dad sending text messages. when he’s not around, he would text you to ask if you need anything from the store. when he receives your response, he replies back with a simple “👍” emoji. that’s it.

aki is all about being the big spoon— it’s just who he is. aki has experienced too much loss and he can’t bear the thought of losing you. he holds you tightly in his grasp, afraid that if he loosens his grip, he’ll lose you, even though that would never be the case. your presence alone brings him a sense of security, and all he wants is for you to be safe.

every morning, this man never leaves for work without giving you a gentle kiss, even if you’re still groggy. you’re the sole reason he can maintain his sanity while battling devils all day.

to aki, you’re like his home, his safe space. you are the one he can confide in, and shed tears without any guilt, and that is one of the many reasons why he loves you.

aki is tall, standing at 190cm (6’2). every time you talk to him, he lowers himself to your level so he can hear you more clearly. sometimes, you think he’s doing it to make fun of you, but in reality, he just wants to be close to you.

aki has a reputation for being aloof, but in reality, he is the complete opposite. he’s a dork. a dork who can’t help but smile whenever your name comes up, a dork who finds himself captivated by your every feature, analyzing them with great interest. a dork who’s madly in love.

quanxi (クァンシ)

quanxi has a deep admiration for her girls’ body, and it’s no secret - especially to you, who has personally felt her touch. every inch of your body is your favorite, from the curves of your breasts to the softness of your thighs. she revels in worshiping every aspect of you, leaving you feeling loved.

when someone utters even the slightest offensive remark towards you, quanxi’s protective remarks kick in, particularly if it comes from a man. she wholeheartedly defends you, regardless of whether you were in the wrong (gotta stand up for your girls), she becomes so defensive she almost resorts to physical confrontation, refusing to let anyone disrespect under her watch.

i like to think that when quanxi gets drunk, she gets awfully needy and with you. she enjoys holding onto your arm and leaning against you, gently nibbling your ear, while softly expressing slurred compliments about your beauty.

quanxi is your ultimate protector, in every sense of the word. facing a menacing devil? before you can even blink, quanxi is by your side, fearlessly slaying the creature. your girlfriend takes pride in being your number one protecter, regardless of your strength.

making out sessions happen 90% of the time you two are together. quanxi simply can’t resist when you give her that irresistible look, with your lips appearing soft and pouted!

𒅒 Pick a Reading: The Next Chapter 𒅒

This group is certainly well acquainted with the *idea* of opulence, although I think most have yet to experience it or have it for your own. I think for most of you, it’s a dream that seems far too out of reach. The idea of it is nice, but when you look at your immediate surroundings, it seems too entirely impossible to manifest so that dream is cut short. There is also an energy of comparing yourselves to others, focusing on the things you don’t have. What you really want is stability, predictability, and security (and something to show for it as a bonus). When you take a look at your past and/or your present reality, I feel there is a sense of chaos, disorganization, and a “mess” to clean up. Whether this is a metaphorical mess or a physical one, you realize that this is a reflection of your inner state of being. This causes a lot of stress, and in turn, you become paralyzed. When you become paralyzed, nothing gets done and the mess becomes even harder to manage. I’m getting that those who chose this reading grew up in a situation that did not allow for free spending/financial flexibility. There is now a desire to curate that sense of flexibility for yourself. I’m hearing that there is a “creative block” for some of you who create/market something for a profit. When looking into the next chapter, I’m seeing that the dream is not as far out of reach as you may think. The problem lies in the fact that you are thinking TOO long-term right now when you should be focusing on the actionable steps that are already accessible to you in the moment. What is available to you in the next chapter is more than material stability, though. I’m seeing that the more you focus in on what is in alignment with you and your small-term goals, everything else falls into place. Not only am I seeing financial abundance, but a stable partner to share that abundance with. God is truly paving the way for your emotional, spiritual, and financial abundance. However, the message here is to persevere, accept the past, and move forward in a way that is not going “against the grain.” I’m hearing “move like water.” I feel that some of you are in a paralyzed, “stuck” state while the other half of you are trying TOO hard to force a square peg into a round hole. Regardless of where you’re at, allow things to come to you and focus only on what you can control. God will open the doors, all you have to do is walk through them.

My #2s are funny. I’m hearing someone say: “I’ve sworn off men.” (Same) Some of you are feeling like there’s no point in trying anymore. And honestly, you might be right. I only say this because I’m also hearing that what is meant for you will FIND YOU! There is really not much for you to do right now other than staying in your own lane and living your best life. However, this doesn’t mean that you should stay inside all day if that’s all you’ve been doing. Get out there, you never know what might happen. Some of you need to focus less on relationships/finding “the one” and focus more on your friendships. I’m seeing that for some, you might even meet a new person while hanging out with your friends. Whether you are actively looking for love or not, there is an energy of feeling so in your head that you can’t seem to get out of it. Even when you are doing your best to get out there/socialize, you feel super distant or like you’re trying to keep up with everyone else but you just don’t have the energy. In this next chapter, I’m seeing that you will find that cerebral energy transmuting into more action. I’m seeing a lot more mental clarity and you holding more space for love as a result. There is also a need for balance and trusting in your intuition. Yes, you should get out more, but you also need time to rest and to rejuvenate afterwards. Take care of yourself and you’ll have a better grasp on what’s to come. You’ll find that you have more energy to actually do the things you want to do for yourself. What’s funny is that this makes you SO attractive as a result. You won’t even notice it when love comes knocking on your door because you’re so focused on leveling up. A glo up is definitely in order, babes. Keep slaying.

First of all, if you’ve been feeling depressy lately or just emotionally all over the place, I am sending you nothing but light and love. I feel that this group is struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a bit hard to explain, but some of you are almost afraid to see the light. You’ve become so familiar with keeping yourself in the dark that any kind of movement/change seems unbearable at times. While I do see change coming in, I feel that God is working with you at your own pace. I am getting very strongly that these changes will come to pass in a way that is digestible enough for you that while it will add to your growth, it’ll happen in a way that makes some actual sense to you. You’ve been living in this weird state of confusion and I’m getting that a lot of you tend to gaslight yourselves/doubt yourselves enough to feel like giving up completely. Some of you may be relying on certain coping mechanisms to get through the day. I’m mainly seeing someone sleeping a lot just to take a break from reality. The thing you need to understand is that what you’re going through is a kind of “initiation” for the next chapter. The things you are processing through now will serve as a guidebook for what is to come. If you feel hopeless in any aspect of your life, I am here to tell you that the pieces are falling into place. I feel that you just aren’t noticing it because you’ve been living with blinders on. For some of you, there is a need to connect more with your religious and/or spiritual side. I’m hearing: “I’ve lost my spark.” I feel that taking the time to pray/meditate while also balancing that with physical activities will really help you navigate through this particular period of time. As things move forward, I’m seeing you grow into an energy where you are more receptive to what life has to offer. There is a focus here on work/career/life purpose. If you’ve been feeling stuck in these aspects, I’m seeing that there is a need to collaborate and to connect with the people you work with/look up to for advice. I’m hearing: “It’s not what you know, it’s WHO you know.” Someone out there can offer you some real guidance and/or connect you to some great people/opportunities. For those of you lacking faith/hope in your situation, just remember that this too shall pass and opportunities are coming your way. Nourish yourselves, listen to your bodies, connect with God.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Okay, in public or in front of like literally anyone, he’s not super affectionate. He’s still nice to you and will occasionally reach for your hand in front of other voltron members. He just doesn’t like PDA very much. He doesn’t like the attention it draws to him. Behind closed doors tho…omg this boy is like so clingy. He just wants to hold you for the rest of his life, you’re so nice to hold. He likes to show affection physically rather than emotionally. He’s kinda dumb when it comes to this romance relationship stuff, he has a hard time explaining his feelings so he’d rather show you how much he loves you with hugs and kisses and cuddles and gentle touches.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

You guys had to have clicked right away when you met. I’m sure Keith is difficult to befriend let alone date so he probably really enjoyed your company and support as a friend to keep you around. He probably felt really safe and at ease with you, like he could be his true authentic self around you. You guys really lean on each other. And because he feels so himself around you, you fall for the purest version of Keith, the real Keith. And he falls for your loyalty and kindness and faith in him.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

KEEF LOVES CUDDLES WITH U OMG. Like I said, he’s emotionally constipated and has a hard time voicing his love for you so he shows it instead and due to your busy schedules, you only get alone time at night before bed and early in the morning if you’re both up before your alarm. So every night before you both doze off and every morning about an hour before your alarm goes off, he’s stuck to you like a koala on a tree branch. It’s the best couple hours of his entire day, everyday. He will cuddle you in any way he can. He’ll be the big spoon or the little spoon, he’ll hold you while you’re facing each other, if he’s in a good deep sleep he’ll lay his head on your chest or stomach with an arm slung over you as he snores. He just wants to be touching you. He needs the physical contact.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Yes and no. Keith definitely wants this war to be over and he wants to go home and have a normal life with you but he’s also never going to give up on helping his friends protect the universe. If he had to, he’d stay in space forever just to protect all of it. But he does occasionally daydream about you and him living together somewhere in the desert or the country maybe where there’s not a lot of people and it’s quiet. Keith is a mess in the kitchen, please keep him away from the stove. He can help you cut stuff up or make the salad but other than that, he’ll burn everything and anything you ask him to cook. Cleaning on the other hand, he can do that. Just imagine this…Keith wearing old scrappy clothes with his hair pulled back by a headband or bandana and he’s deep cleaning your whole apartment/house with those big yellow dish gloves on. Omg hes ur housewife. Sure he can be messy and disorganized at times too but he’ll roll up his sleeves and deep clean when it’s obvious it needs to be done. Just plz cook for him and he’ll clean for you.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

If Keith had to break up with you, I seriously feel like he would still want to be your friend. As much as Keith blows up and loses his temper, the break up would be soft and slow and gently. He wouldn’t want to lose you completely so he’d ask you to be his friend still. So things didn’t work romantically…it’s fine, just don’t leave him behind. He still has love for you. He’ll always care about you.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Keith ain’t the marriage type. He’s just one of those people who thinks marriage is stupid and pointless and too expensive and dramatic. He doesn’t need a big fancy ceremony or a piece of signed paper to prove his love for you. Screw it. He’s gonna call you his wife/husband/partner/spouse no matter what anyone else says. If you really want to get properly married tho, he’d agree and go along with it to make you happy. But he’d be in charge of the guest list…which will only have like 10 people on it bc he also doesn’t like crowds or big parties.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Physically, he’s so gentle with you. He’s always worried he’s gonna hurt you or make you uncomfortable. He holds you so tenderly, he kisses you so lightly. Keith spends most days fighting off training bots, sparring with Shiro and often engaging in battle with an actual enemy. When it comes to you, he treats you like a one-of-a-kind piece of stained glass. You’re the one person he’s soft with. Emotionally…he’s stubborn and short tempered and easily overwhelmed. He’ll snap at you every now and then, he can’t help it. He’s never mad or annoyed with you, it just comes out in his voice and his gestures are harsh as he speaks to you. He tries very hard to be patient and understanding with you. He’s really trying. Give him a break plz.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Keith loves your hugs, it’s one of the most comforting things you can offer him. He likes to hug you a lot, he’ll just randomly hug you throughout your day. But when he’s upset or frustrated or feeling stressed and scared, he’ll hug you really tight and for a while. He’ll just hold you close, arms wrapped fully around your torso as he hides his face in your neck or shoulder. Hugs make him feel so much better, they remind him that he is real and has feelings and that someone cares about him.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

I think Keith would wait a while to actually say it to your face. He would be really nervous and wouldn’t want to rush things or make you feel like you have to say it back. In the meantime, he often slips the phrase to you sneakily and without grabbing your attention first. He’ll mumble it to himself after you finish a good round of training with him and he’s glowing with pride at how amazing you are. He’ll whisper it softly when you fall asleep next to him. He’ll mouth the words as he hugs you tightly, imagining how the words would sound if you said them back to him right now. He just needs time…

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Keith gets extremely jealous but not all the time. He sees you talking to some cool alien or even joking around with Lance, he’s whatever about it. He trusts you so he’s not worried. Now if another galra tried to approach you, oh boy is there gonna be a fight. It’s just a galra thing, he feels that they are more of a threat bc he is also part galra. One time, another member of the blade was standing just a little too close to you and Keith didn’t know what he was saying to you but he just had a bad feeling about it. But he wasn’t trying to flirt with you at all, he was actually asking about Keith and how long you’ve know him, just small talk. Keith stomped over and straight up pushed you behind him, glaring at his teammate in front of him. You had to explain that it was all innocent chit chat and calm him down. Yeah, he’s dramatic asf when he wants to be. He’ll kill a bitch for you, no hesitation.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Kisses with Keith are always soft and slow and lingering. He doesn’t move at a fast pace, even when making out. He takes his time and enjoys it and cherishes the moment. He’s also not sure exactly how to kiss so he goes slow and follows your lead. It’s not often that you two kiss, only in the privacy of your room when you both know you won’t be interrupted or occasionally you’ll share a lingering gentle kiss in the hangar in front of the team after a long and scary mission. Keith loves kissing your lips, he likes that he can feel you kiss him back. He’ll kiss your cheeks and forehead sometimes but he craves the feeling of your lips returning the gesture, ya know? He really likes when you kiss pretty much anywhere that’s not his face. Kiss that boy on the shoulder, neck, back, hands or arms and he’s a flustered mess. Not that he minds face kisses from you tho.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s so awkward omfg. He is kind of on the fence about kids. He likes them but he’s unsure how to act around them. He mostly just listens to kids ramble about stuff and he smiles and nods along and offers the occasional “oh really? Wow. That’s crazy.” He would like a kid of his own one day but not anytime soon. He needs time to learn and mature before he has his own kid.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Pretty much every morning with Keith is spent the same way…he’ll wake up earlier than the alarm is set just to cuddle and love on you before you have to go about your busy day. This (and at night before you guys fall asleep) is the only time you two can really spend quality time together. Fighting in an intergalactic war leaves very little time for you two to hang out and bond. So he loves sleepy, early mornings with you where neither of you talk, you just hold each other and place soft kisses on each others face.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights go pretty much the same way as mornings. The first hour that you two are awake and the last hour or so before you two fall asleep is spent in silence while you just hold each other close and cherish the moment. You don’t get much time to be clingy and romantic so bed time is the best time. He’ll plop into bed with you and wrap you in his arms as you’re both dozing off.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Keith would take some time to fully open up to you. I’m sure he probably took a while to open up to Shiro too. He’s just a closed off, secretive kind of person. He doesn’t want his business on display for everyone to know. As friends, he probably told you about his home life and his dad but it wasn’t until you two had been dating for a while that he finally let down his walls and told you all of the things that weigh on him. He trusts you with his life now.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

👀 boy has a very short temper and gets very easily annoyed and over stimulated. He’s definitely snapped at you before and he will most likely snap at you again. He’s always quick to apologize and try to explain himself. He just loses it sometimes, there’s a lot going on and he has a hard time coping. He’ll bottle everything up and stay quiet until it all boils over and explodes out of him. He snaps at pretty much anyone and everyone, don’t take it personally. He’s even yelled at Shiro before. He’s working on it tho…he swears.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Both??? He’ll definitely forget things every now and then, sorry he’s got so many thoughts in his head at one time, sometimes the things you tell him go in one ear and out the other. BUT he does remember a lot about you too. He’ll never forget the gorgeous color of your eyes and your favorite food and your favorite color. He’ll remember many cute moments throughout your relationship but also if you mention that one time that one thing happened, he’ll be like “I did? Oh…okay if you say so.” He might forget an anniversary or your birthday too, don’t be mad. He’s really sorry…just remind him and he’ll make it up to you, pinky promise.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Keith’s favorite moment in your whole relationship is when you first kissed him. It wasn’t on the lips, you had kissed him on the cheek when he was frustrated with not being able to beat a certain level on the training simulator. He was just having a moment, shouting out in anger as he flopped down on the floor. As he tried to catch his breath, you approached him without saying a word and sat in front of him with a sweet smile. He watched you for a second before you leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek then followed it with the words “Don’t give up. He felt so stupid and ugly in that moment of weakness and anger but you showed him unconditional love anyways. He’ll never forget that.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Keith is very protective of you, especially when you are out in the middle of battle with the team. He often insists that you and him stick together regardless of what Shiro or Allura have to say. He’ll protect you by keeping a close eye on you and having your back when you need him. You do pretty much the same for him. You watch out for each other always.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

As far as dates, anniversaries and gifts, Keith’s terrible. He’s never been in a relationship before so he has no idea what to do. If you give him ideas and share what you are planning to do for him, he’ll take mental notes and learn from you and then he’ll try his best those things. With everyday tasks tho, Keith is the sweetest and most attentive partner ever. He asks you how you slept every morning, he’ll ask you if you’ve eaten yet today, if he hasn’t seen you around all day he’ll go searching for you just to check up on ya. He’ll bring you water in the training room if he’s not already there with you, he’ll kiss you every morning and every night, he’ll play with your hair and gently scratch your back when you’re stressed or upset, he’ll listen intently when you need to rant or when you’re excitedly explaining something you like to him. He’s a great bf, he’s so involved with you. Such a sweet pea ❤️‍🔥

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Keith loves to shut himself off from you, especially when you’re having a bad day yourself. He feels like a burden sometimes, like he’s damaged goods that you never asked for. He knows he can trust you and confide in you but he worries that he’ll only make you more overwhelmed and stressed if he tells you how he’s feeling. Most of his bad days are spent avoiding you in hopes of not burdening you with his moody attitude. You always end up finding him and convincing him to open up to you. Once he gets it all off his chest tho, he feels soooo relieved. He just doesn’t want you to ever feel like his feelings matter more than yours.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

NOT AT ALL. He doesn’t give a fuck, especially with you. I mean…you guys are already dating and he’s never been super into his appearance so ??? why would he start worrying about it now? He has other things to worry about. He’s clean and well kept so …what now?

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yesssss, he’s a wreck when he’s away from you for too long. It’s one things to be away from you all day, but when missions are going on for days or weeks at a time with the blade of marmora, he gets so depressed and also so much more irritated. You’re the light of his life so when he can’t see you for several days in a row, he starts to unravel. You just bring him so much peace of mind, without you he doesn’t know how to cope with his emotions. He has no one else to talk to…💔

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

HE SLEEPS SO FUCKIN GOOD WITH YOU IN HIS BED NEXT TO HIM!!! You’ve walked in on him sleeping before and he’s pretty quiet, but whenever you sleep beside him, bro snores like a bear as he clings to you. Sometimes he wakes you with his loud ass snores and his aggressive snuggling but he’s having the best sleep of his entire life rn, you can’t bring yourself to wake him. One time, you gently nudged him awake and whispered “You’re snoring so loud. Turn on your side.” And he straight up went “Huh? Oh…okay.” then fell right back into his loud snoring a second later. Sorry but you kind of signed up for this.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

The only turn off for Keith is a liar. If he can’t trust his partner, he doesn’t even want to be with them. He wants you to be able to tell him anything and he wants to be able to trust you with everything. Just don’t ever lie to him and there’s nothing that can tear you two apart.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Not only does this mf snore loud as hell and suffocate you with his cuddles but he also drools sometimes. One time he drooled on your face and the grossed out scream that came from you startled him awake. He apologized profusely but you just had to tell the rest of the team about it the next morning. He’s never gonna live this down, it’s just too funny.

Makoto & Nagito’s Survivor’s Guilt

i have many thoughts ab why makoto and nagito would have an interesting dynamic but today i’m thinking abt how their history parallels a little (like a lot of things ab them. they’re foils of each other i cld write an essay about it)

this is just a very long (kind of disorganized) tangent about lucky duo’s traumas and how they shaped their mindsets (and how they might understand each other better than people think at first)

i kind of get nervous anytime i put my analyses out there for people to percieve, but that’s okay. we’re facing fears today. LOL

i don’t think many people think about how makoto probably understands the survivor’s guilt nagito deals with better than anyone could, because he also has the mentality that he didn’t deserve to survive the things he did, and that his luck had a lot to do with his survival. they cope in very different ways, but at the core of their emotions they both feel that same “i don’t deserve to live” guilt.

Makoto’s Survivor’s Guilt

makoto doesn’t attribute as much of his trauma (which is the killing games he went through) to his luck, it doesn’t factor into his thinking as much as it does for nagito. junko says it at some point in the anime: makoto’s luck isn’t like nagito’s! he wouldn’t ever be able to utilize it like nagito can, because it isn’t consistent, it comes and goes super randomly. it keeps that mf alive and that’s IT 😭

(/j. it does more for him than that but im not talking ab his luck rn so BACK TO HIS SURVIVOR’S GUILT.)

he leaves the first killing game with this huge unofficial responsibility. he lost 10 of his classmates and it’s said that he was able to get his memories back after leaving, so that means he remembers the two years he spent with them. they were his friends :,)

and some of them did more than him to contribute to surviving. i know it’s for comedic effect in the game, but makoto is kind of consistently told by byakuya (and sometimes kyoko & others) that he’s stupid or unhelpful. + he already struggles with feeling like he’s not interesting, memorable, or unique in any kind of way (mr. “i’m average at being average”)

but nevertheless, he survives the games, (after basically convincing his remaining classmates to NOT sacrifice him. a second time.) and when he does get out, he joins the future foundation, where his nickname as the ultimate hope starts to push him to do as much as he can. and because he’s so determined to save as many people as he can, he opposes the foundation’s plan to kill the remnants, and takes them to jabberwock island. he’s so determined to do as much as he can because he feels like if he doesn’t, he’s wasting the life he was given. it’s implied a few times that he would have killed himself if he didn’t feel guilty throwing away the life that was taken from his friends! people don’t talk enough about how makoto is NOT as endlessly optimistic as everyone thinks

he isn’t completely immune to despair. i honestly feel like his main motivation in helping people and spreading hope isn’t that he lives by it, it’s that he has to do as much as he can to to spread it to OTHERS because if he doesn’t, what is he doing with the life he has that his friends were robbed of? i could get into the nuances of makoto’s character and how he isn’t just “hope enthusiast #1” but that’s more fitting of a makoto exclusive character analysis. coming soon/hj

the point of that is that he wouldn’t be alive if he didn’t feel like he had to make something of the fact that his classmates died and he didn’t. that’s what motivates him to try and save everyone, no matter who they are or how terrible they are (him saving the remnants, trying to save junko even though he hated her for what she did, and trying to save the future foundation members in the second game, even though they want him dead)

and when he already has this mentality, he goes through a SECOND killing game, where one of his closest friends (i forget if it’s canon they were dating or not, but you get the point) dies as a DIRECT result of him surviving. and instead of breaking down and giving up, he takes it and becomes more determined to end the game. but his despair video shows that he feels so guilty that he survived, even if he doesn’t ruminate in that feeling.

but nagito is the polar opposite

Nagito’s Survivor’s Guilt

most of nagito’s character revolves around two things:

His self-loathing

His twisted perception of hope, and his obsession with the concept

putting aside the fact that he has been diagnosed with dementia that definitely warps his perception of reality as it is, when you look into his backstory it makes sense why he thinks the way he does. his childhood pet died in a car crash when he was a little kid, then, when he goes on vacation with his parents (still in elementary school), the plane taking them back is hijacked, and then those hijackers are killed by a meteorite that also kills his parents right in front of him.

he has no other living relatives, so he’s given all of their inheritance, and is said to be free to live on his own. so he’s been alone since he was a kid, and then during middle school, he’s kidnapped by a SERIAL KILLER that held him for ransom, and then let him go after realizing no one was going to come for him. (which is actually so distressing to me like r u kidding me that’s so SAD HE HAD NO ONE WILLING TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE HE WAS MISSING?? UGH. ANYWAY.)

any chance at happiness Nagito has had was ripped from him in that cycle of good and bad luck. he starts to become fixated (and eventually, unhealthily obsessed) with the concept of hope, so that he could try and find some meaning to his life beyond killing anyone who'd ever shown him any kindness or cared about him. and then after ALL OF THIS, in high school before hope's peak, he gets diagnosed not only with CANCER, but also DEMENTIA. Which, typically, only affects people over 65!!!! he was probably not older than 16 when he got diagnosed!!!! he's then told that he probably has less than 6 months to live. he tells hajime this whole speech about how he realized all he wanted his entire life was to be loved by someone, and he didn't want to die alone, but then says that he was just quoting something, curious to the sympathy it would get him (i don't really believe that, but THAT is a nagito analysis topic. back on topic again…)

then he gets invited to hope's peak. he tries to refuse, but they insist, and so he finally agrees. but then, during his second year, junko starts to ruin things, and yet ANOTHER person he started to care about is killed right before his eyes (chiaki). of course, then, he goes on to bring as much pain and despair to anyone he can under junko’s brainwashing

he's fully convinced that he's a curse, and that he's not worthy of living.

"ok….. what’s your point??" you didn’t ask???

the difference between nagito and makoto is that makoto took his grief and made it into motivation, while nagito took his grief as a personal reflection, and spiraled down into a mental decline.

i think the main reasons for this difference is that, first of all, nagito's trauma has been his entire life. since he was a little kid up to even currently (when he's around 21-22), all he's done is cause or witness death anywhere he's gone. watching your childhood pet AND parents die before your eyes has to impact development in some kind of way (not to mention he was entirely alone since ELEMENTARY SCHOOL)

makoto had a very average, but nice life to that point. he had nice parents that were together and happy, his little sister that he's super close to, and while he didn't have any super close friends, he wasn't on particularly bad terms with anyone (as shown by his reaction to seeing sayaka, and sayaka's reaction to knowina him). all of the trauma and death he experienced happened to him when he was an adult (even though he thought he was 16-17 when the first killing game happened, he was most likely 18-19 and junko can erase memory but not alter brain development. so.)

second of all, makoto had support from his friends! he had the other 5 survivors, and then during the second game, he had kyoko and aoi to support him and get him through it. nagito grew up experiencing all of this grief and guilt and trauma entirely alone, even during the killing game he was in. his classmates treat him awfully even before he has his mental break doing incredibly unhinged shit like blowing up the gym (it's so. hard. to defend him sometimes.)

i still haven’t gotten to my point oh my god i talk a lot. BUT THE POINT IS they cope extremely differently, and arguably have different levels of trauma, but they experience the same survivors guilt. both of them feel like they don't deserve to be alive, and that others around them deserve so much better than they do. i really feel like makoto would be able to empathize with nagito's struggles with survivor's guilt and self worth, because he feels the same things! clearly, not to the same extent, but again, that goes back to the support makoto got during his experiences. it's one of the many MANY reasons i think makoto and nagito would be able to help each other heal, instead of being unhealthy like a lot of people say. (of course it depends on when because obviously, servant nagito meeting ff!makoto would not be healthy. that man would skeeve makoto out MASSIVELY but that dynamic is also an interesting one to explore.... ANYWAY.)

nagito's obsession with hope would give him an unhealthy attachment/idolization of makoto at first, but i really do believe that after he recovers a little more from junko's influence, a few days with the guy would make nagito realize that they're way more similar than he thought and that respectfully, makoto isn't as amazing and godly as he thought LOL

TLDR: they have very similar experiences, the only difference between them is that makoto had support that reminded him he wasn't to blame for the deaths of those around him, while nagito was isolated from EVERYONE from a very, VERY young age, and it led to his mental decline. i really believe they would be able to help each other heal a lot and that's why i love them so much :(

side note: genuinely nothing makes me as sad as nagito and his dog 😞 every time i mention them i get so upset

AngelicaASMR’s current change

This post only about any info posted as of 7/25/2023 (will update in future if needed).

Ok so I’ve been following the Angelica Asmr shit pretty closely (don’t expect me to comment on gwen gwiz too because that girl is a grifter from the start). And as a mental health worker it REALLY freaks me out for her. I worked in a rehab for awhile. For people quitting drugs, but many of them also had bipolar, ptsd, schizophrenia, and similar diagnosises (some people also had the behavior due to being in crisis as well due to loss, recent homelessness, police brutality, etc.). So I know what psychotic breaks look like. I won’t armchair diagnose anything specific because I am not her medical provider, but while I can’t say she has anything for certain - she has a history of manic episodes in the past.

As someone with ADHD, a history of sexual and religious trauma, and c-ptsd like Angelica, I can honestly see how she fell into this. As someone who is also anti-capitalist, I can see why she thinks finding community would be beneficial (not sure why she would choose the Catholic Church instead of something from less individualistic, Eastern philosophy doesn’t make sense to me personally though...) to finding growth in an online era of isolation following a personal loss in her life. It seems weird how she went from talking about her Jehovahs Witness trauma from her youth...to going full on Orthodox, but I’ll get into details on why mentally this is actually super common in a minute.

I can also see how she would become a SWERF after having done OF, since as a former sex worker myself (camming, porn, fssw) who quit doing it after being raped - I can safely say that I myself am neither pro or anti sex work. I’m pro-decriminalization to keep workers safe, but also do feel a bit sick sometimes that MOST fssw on the streets are marginalized people. It is a complicated issue with nuance that non-sex workers have no business taking a side on. However, she is very hateful recently and anti-sex in general. Which is an issue.

She originally joined OnlyFans during a manic episode. So she HAS a history of mental illness and making major life decisions during mania.

She went from pro-lgbtq to anti-lgbtq. Deleted her old progressive videos. Claimed to be a victim of MKUltra. Started making up delusions around the Catholic Church being anti-capitalist (Catholics individually can 100% be leftists, but the Church itself is VERY Capitalist). She posted homophobic and transphobic tiktoks where she would yell practically incoherently. Lots of staring. Inability to talk without looking away and laughing (she is normally a skilled actress). Posting WAY more frequently than ever(she reposted 3 deleted videos last night and deleted them by this morning). She posted a video and lots of shorts and is way more active on Instagram.

The worst breakdowns I saw working rehab mostly always cycled through 4 topics: fame/self importance, inconsistent political and religious rambling, and sex. Always. Angelica has shown inconsistent spiritual beliefs (she has been mixing up Catholic, Orthodox, politics, and other religions). She has been focusing on sex in the context of trauma and posted a short of her in a bathtub on youtube again. She has been posting and immediately deleting content that has even positive comments on it.

Some medical signs of possible mania and/or psychosis that she is exhibiting:

Paranoia, trouble talking in a clear way/rambling, withdrawing socially (posting more often/online more but also alienating from her former fans), Confused speech, trailing off/lack of focus in videos, Generally disorganized way of thinking, no sign of restraint in expressing self, racing speech, goal-directed activity (seems to have a new anti-sex work goal), distractable/trails off topic, random giggling at nothing at camera like it is a person she is conversing with...etc. Tbh the amount of red flags I’ve seen are alarming.

I hope she gets support and help. And it is one reason I can’t blame her as hard as I would most, because she seems clearly unwell. It isn’t an excuse. At all. And I don’t blame people for not supporting her going forward, but I plan to keep an eye on the situation for now and am hoping that somehow she can pull out of this shit, because I’ve seen this shit happen to a LOT of people with hard lives. Hell, I’ve even lashed out in smaller degrees and been delusional during my own ptsd breakdowns too, but when people are as far gone as Angelica is...I don’t usually see them come back again to the same state they were in previously. I’m hoping for the best, as a former fan and as a social worker, but Idk.

The Aburames (Shino x Reader)

You could usually tell when a squad captain was new, especially when you and Shino ended up on the same team. It was an oversight that you would always try to correct ahead of time, but bureaucracy didn’t always work in your favor.

“Eh? What do you mean?” Arata’s glasses had fallen crooked on his face as he stared up from his disorganized mission notes. You and Shino exchanged glances, both of you with your arms laxly crossed over your chests.

“We can’t use our jutsu at the same time,” you said sheepishly, at a loss for what to do or how to explain the clear mistake that was made. While you hoped that you could’ve sorted the team roster out before you were standing together at the village’s gate, you supposed there was no time like the present.

“What do you mean you can’t use your jutsu at the same time?” Arata turned his attention back to his notes in a panic. He flipped through them, even turning the whole ensemble upside down as his eyes darted across the pages. “Aburame utilizes an insect jutsu, and you use plants—”

“Carnivorous plants,” you swiftly corrected with a sigh. Arata gaped up at you, not entirely understanding the problem. You cleared your throat. “Plants that eat bugs—” Arata’s mouth formed a round shape as he studied his notes more closely. —“We’re also married, so people don’t usually put us on the same squad. You might want to refer to us by our first names.”

“Aw, jeez,” Arata huffed with a drop of his shoulders. “And here I thought I was being clever.” Your hands hovered in the air as you instinctively moved to give him a reassuring pat. You recoiled your touch at the last second. No matter how young your temporary leader was, he was still your captain.

“No worries, Captain Arata. I’m sure there’s time to switch one of us out!” You glanced at Shino, making eyes at him to signal that he should say something. He grunted, nodding to himself.

“Yes, these things happen.” He continued to nod.

“Actually…” Arata trailed off. “There were only enough people for the minimum amount of squads this period. That’s why I put the two of you together when we made our picks because I assumed with the bugs and the plants…” He buried his face in his hands, rubbing his eyes under his glasses.

“At least he didn’t add Ōtori,” Shino muttered. You gave him a sharp nudge.

“We’ll make due, don’t worry, Captain.”

“Please don’t call me that…”

Arata looked as if he’d be sick any moment.

Only when you reached your destination did the green in Arata’s face seem to fade—poor thing. You remembered leading your first squad, although you couldn’t say you were as much of a wreck as Arata. He was hard to watch. He could hardly get a word out even as he met with your clientele. You wondered if he knew all he had to say was that you were in town to do the requested work. Clearly not; he said everything but that.

The three of you sat together on a tree branch overlooking the small trading town. Shino had sent his beetles out into the night. With their superior surveillance and tracking capabilities and nocturnal abilities, you sat back and allowed Shino’s hive to smoke out your target.

“You guys look like you’ve done this before,” Arata remarked, staring down at the lit lights of the houses below. Ironically, it had been Arata’s order to station the beetles across the rooftops. You leaned against the tree trunk, admiring how the quint village glowed warmly in the moonlight. Stalls lined the streets, lighting up the night with pleasant lantern light. A small group of children shared an oversized confection below.

“Unfortunately, bandits hit these villages a lot,” you mused. Shino nodded. “Lots of people come through here. Lots of trade, lots to steal. Serial thievery from one place doesn’t surprise me.”

“It’s the geography,” Shino said curtly.

The streets below you continued to bustle with life. Even into the night, trade continued throughout the small town. Arata’s eyes widened in awe, an apparent brightness in them as he listened.

“Ah, I see,” he hummed, standing on the branch to survey the land. “Can I ask a personal question?” You couldn’t help your slight expression of surprise, a hint of playfulness and curiosity swimming in your face as the corners of your lips tugged into a gentle grin.

“Shoot.” You nodded. Shino hardly said a word as he stood at the end of the branch. He shoved his hands in his pockets, pretending not to listen. You were always the talker in the relationship anyway.

“You’re married, right?” Arata glanced between you and Shino. You offered him a gentle and slow bow of your head in acknowledgment. “How do you live together if, you know, your plants eat… you know.” Your laugh was light and resounded nicely through the breeze that ruffled the treetops.

“We make do.” You bent a knee, holding it close to your chest as you assumed a more comfortable position. “The Aburames are known for their Destruction Bug Implantation. I’m sure he could tell you more about it than I could—” You craned your neck to look past Arata at Shino, who continued to pretend he wasn’t listening. Arata followed your gaze. —“It’s a permanent summoning, I suppose. Mine is more traditional, so keeping them apart isn’t too difficult when there’s a dimensional rift.”

“I suppose that makes sense.” Arata chuckled, scratching at the back of his neck. “I guess I just assumed you’d have a few lying around the house. I know a lot of people like to keep their summons close.”

“Sometimes I like to go back with them to tend to them in their own realm.” You held a finger up to your lips with a wink. “But you didn’t hear that from me.” Arata held his expression of awe but didn’t have time to be impressed for long.

You heard shouting below. The crowd filling the streets at various stalls parted like a crack in rock. A woman fell, pushed to the ground as a few men gave chase to a figure you couldn’t quite see.

“Theif!” one of the men cried. They made for your direction. The thief could escape into the forest within moments at the rate the men were chasing.

“Shino, can you grab him?” Arata barked. Shino grumbled, gritting his teeth as he labored, straining the muscles of his arms as he conducted his swarm.

“Too bright, too many people… I won’t make it!”

Arata called out your name.

“Your plants!” he called out, his voice sputtering as he struggled to grasp his words quickly. “While Shino’s bugs are far enough!” Despite the lapse in communication, you knew precisely what his orders were.

“I got it!” You jumped off the branch as the invisible thief grew closer. The blood you drew from your finger sailed into the air, falling with you. “Summoning Jutsu!”

Several snapping heads shot out from the white cloud of smoke that flooded the forest's underbrush. The traps snapped as the petioles weaved around the treetrunks, following the vibrations of footsteps on the leaf litter on the ground below. Arata had stationed himself at the forest’s entrance, arms held out as he stopped the pursuing men from getting caught in the crossfire.

You heard a sharp cry, one of our traps rising into the air in your peripheral, a pair of legs kicking against the teeth before the trap was sliced cleanly in two. You gasped in horror as the whole trap shriveled, turning crispy and brown down the petioles. The thief left into the darkness of the forest.

With the fight over, you ran to the rhizome, taking out your tantō to cut the dead head off the rest of the plant. The other traps surrounded you, shaking.

“Aww, poor baby,” you cooed. “That must’ve been so hard. I’m sorry.” One of the traps thrust itself into your arms, nearly knocking you to the ground. You gave it a few gentle pats. “I’ll give you attention soon, I promise.”

The plant disappeared into another puff of smoke just as Shino’s swarm passed overhead. The beetles traveled together, covering the forest like a blanket as they blotted out the moonlight. Arata, who had been running toward you, stopped in his tracks as he watched the swarm pass.

“Are you okay?” he yelled to you.

“Yeah! I’m alright,” you sighed. He walked over to you in defeat, hands on his hips as he looked deep into the forest's darkness.

“Well, so much for catching him.” He frowned. “Sorry about your plant.” You shrugged, glancing over your shoulder toward your husband, who trailed a short distance behind you.

“It’ll be okay. That one’s just a big baby, really.” You walked forward into the dimness, as did Shino, much to Arata’s surprise. “It’s actually a good thing. The scent from the trap is a real good insect attractant.” You shot Shino a cheeky grin. “That’s how I trapped you, isn’t it?”

He hummed, knowing that a lack of acknowledgment would’ve spurred you on even more. You pivoted on your heel, walking backward deeper into the trees as you waved for Arata to follow.

“C’mon, Captain Arata. This was your plan, wasn’t it?” Arata’s face wrinkled in confusion for only a second before he perked up in surprise. He ran after the two of you.

“Right! My plan!”

Fun facts about the piece if that’s something you fancy: “Arata” means fresh/new. I feel like married couple Shino and Reader would have worked out how to battle together, but I’d imagine it’s stressful for the bugs. Not to mention Reader’s plants may shut prematurely, causing the plant to use up energy.

Reader Ōtori is also the bird user from my very first (very bad) Shino series. She has Shino in an alternate universe, I guess haha. I think aside from the Uchiha!Readers, she’s the only one I gave a last name (and a gender). Let’s keep it that way haha.

I don’t usually picture what Reader looks like, but I do on maybe 1/8 of my works. I pictured Reader to look like Pieck Finger and Arata to look something like Floch Forster or Izuku Midorya. Not that it matters who I picture. Shino is just... Shino haha. Always Wedding Era Shino though.

heizou knows what you’ve been doing. he knows that you like to follow him around whenever he does anything, knows that you have a habit of taking his things without asking, knows that sometimes, when you’re sure he’s not home, you go into his room and lay down on his bed while cuddling into his blankets. he thinks it’s adorable, really, though if you were anyone else he might not take as kindly to it, he always feels slightly giddy whenever he looks over the security camera footage in his home and sees that you’ve come over and taken another small, easily replaceable thing from his desk, or another piece of dirty silverware from his meals. he just loves all your sweet little tendencies.

he knows that you have some secrets he hasn’t yet too, and he’s determined to find them out, which is why he’s picking your lock and quietly letting himself into your bedroom in the middle of the night. he knows it’s risky, that even stepping on a single creaky floorboard could be enough to wake you up and blow his cover as the nice, charming detective that would never commit any crime, but he just can’t resist. he’s getting curious about that little notebook you always seem to be writing in, and he needs to find out what’s in it that you’re so protective of.

he’s careful not to walk too loudly as he makes his way over to your desk, his eyes lighting up when he sees that you already have the notebook he’s looking for set out on the surface.

you just make it so easy, don’t you?

he slowly reaches for it and gently paws through the pages, his eyes widening at the hastily scribbled, almost maniacal words that covered every page. he noticed they started out like how a schoolgirl would write about her innocent little crushes, but the longer time went on the more obsessive the entries looked. the first one stood out to him in particular, he could remember it as the day he finally gathered the courage to talk to you and become friends.

“february 2nd, 2020.

valentine’s day is coming up! i can’t wait to give out treats to everyone. someone new talked to me too! i think his name was heizou? whatever his name is, he’s super cute. i think i’ll try to get to know him better later.”

heizou kept flipping through the notebook entries, coming across one with a picture of him taped in it. he took note of how much more disorganized and frenzied the handwriting seemed.

“september 20th, 2020.

today i saw heizou eating in the park, he looked at me and waved and i almost fainted, he actually looked at me! he likes me enough to recognize me! i’m sure he feels the same way as i do.”

he felt a smile creep on his face. why would you want to hide this from him? he thinks it’s so cute how much you love him. unable to resist, heizou keeps flipping through the pages, around the halfway mark he notices that they go from slightly crazed, but still mostly innocent, ramblings to much more explicit, detailed wishes. he also notices that you stopped dating them at some point. he makes a mental note to ask you about later.

“heizou went to a new coffee shop this morning. he got a different order than what he usually gets, i wish i had managed to hear what it was, but the barista was being too loud. she didn’t deserve to talk to him. she took his presence for granted. if i had the chance to make heizou a drink i’d be much more grateful than she was. i hate her.”

he laughed to himself. you’re just so cute. his smile was replaced by a look of shock at the contents of the next entry.

“….i would give anything to be with heizou. i belong to him, everything that i am is entirely his. i wish i could tell him that, but i don’t want him to think i’m just a creepy stalker. what i’m doing isn’t stalking, i’m just making sure he’s safe! i’m sure he wouldn’t mind if i told him.”

heizou had finally found the incriminating evidence he needed. while it wasn’t the point of this trip, he couldn’t deny that he felt himself getting worked up at the thought of finally having you to himself. and judging by your journal entries, you’ve been waiting just as long for him.

he quickly walked over to your bed, notebook still held tightly on his hands, and gently shook you awake.

“what- heizou? what are you doing?” you looked up at him in dazed confusion, your voice slightly groggy with sleep.

“would you like to explain what you wrote in this little notebook? stalking is a crime you know, i could have you arrested.” heizou reached over to cup your cheek as he spoke, laughing at the shocked expression on your face.

“i- i just really like you a lot and i didn’t wanna tell you cause i was scared y-you wouldn’t like me too and so i started following you so i could find out more about you and th-then it got kinda out of hand but i didn’t wanna stop cause i like you so much and i’m so sorry please don’t hate me!” you squinted your eyes shut, waiting for him to reject you while trying your hardest to ignore the burning feeling on your face.

heizou hummed as he examined your features, the tears threatening to spill past your waterline, the way you leaned into his hand on your cheek, practically cuddling it, the embarrassment he could almost see radiating off you in waves. “do you wanna make it up to me?”

your eyes snapped open. “yes! i’d do anything to make it up to you, please let me!” he cooed softly at how eagerly you begged him, unable to deny how much he liked being in this position of control over you.

“if you wanna make it up to me you have to do everything i say without asking questions, ok?” heizou moved his hand from your cheek to firmly grasp your jaw, smirking to himself when he felt you try to nod against his tight grip. “good. get on your knees on the floor.”

as you were moving positions he sat down on your bed, spreading his legs to make room for you in between them. he reached for the waistband of his pants and released his aching cock from the tight confines. “now, you’re going to suck my cock, and if you do a good enough job, i’ll forgive you. got it?”

you vigorously nodded, already leaning in to press a light kiss against the head. you opened your mouth and slowly started to take him into it, making sure to use your hands on the parts you couldn’t quite get to with your mouth yet. you felt his hands come down on your head, harshly pushing you to take him even deeper and making you gag and choke around him, tears starting to bubble up in your eyes.

hey myst fandom its me! back with some art!

this is a concept that literally will never happen (and only appeals to me) but for a while i’ve been thinking of a myst x sky cotl collab season called season of ages!!! above are a few concept designs for cosmetics can you tell exile is my favorite game in the series

SO its a very loose concept with very scattered ideas so far (and if you are both a sky and myst enjoyer PLEASE feel free to add ideas and also be my friend?????) and im sadly not super well versed in myst lore so this is going to be VERY surface level

a VERY basic concept of the season would be collecting pages across the realms to restore linking books, but this feels kinda boring. i’m also not sure how the spirits would relate to the myst characters, if there even would be spirits? and should each realm have a new area in it that resembles an age in one of the games that gradually get unlocked as the player completes quests? i have no idea!!! idk about yall but i would LOVE to fly around myst island

i know for sure that an ultimate gift/iap cosmetic would be a linking book. what i’m undecided on is if the player would just get one book that would allow them to link to a chosen area (it would be a wearable cosmetic, kinda like the art book), or would completing the season unlock a special place in vault of knowledge that gives the player access to multiple linking books? if it were an iap cosmetic (like all collab seasons have), it could be a linking book to a room of linking books? idk

i really want to be able to pay homage to all of the myst games by incorporating at least one element from each game (ie a whole age, an object in an age, a cosmetic that resembles something a character wears, etc etc). i also really want there to still be a puzzle element , but like. super easy puzzles. people play sky to chill, not be frustrated hdkshsskkh

This is gonna be disorganized but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it so I wanna share it before it gets proven/disproven, I’ll tidy up later with details and sources

Jujutsu Kaisen theory: Yuji Itadori has a heavenly restriction like Maki Zenin (pre-powerup)

Spoilers for some amount of the manga ahead:

We know that itadori is crazy strong, to the point that megumi claims he could physically beat maki during the planning for the exchange event. (Plus casually breaking world records and all that) Jujutsu techniques are often passed down from parent to child, and I have two theories as to how this could’ve happened, yet he seemingly has none at the beginning.

Theory 1: kenjaku is the source of his power

Kenjaku had possessed yuji’s mom from some time prior to his conception to some time after his birth. We don’t know the details of kenjaku’s technique so it’s possible he passes it down. Gojo states that when someone is possessed by a cursed object the cursed techniques are slowly etched into the host body, which means there’s already a possible in universe basis for this idea.

Theory 2: his mom is the source of his power

Every person who we have seen kenjaku possess (ex: Noritoshi Kamo & Geto) has been 1. notable and 2. a strong jujutsu sorcerer. Except itadori’s mom seemingly, who we know almost nothing about yet was for some reason his choice even during a very important time period. Imo this suggests that there is more to her story and she most likely was a sorcerer or at least from a sorcerer bloodline.

Either way his creation involved a powerful and/or important sorcerer which if passed down to him would explain several things, such as why he could withstand eating sukuna’s fingers and why he learns so fast. Learning rct in <3 months and black flash in like half an hour of trying is unheard of, especially because both were within a year of gaining cursed energy and one was despite no longer being sukuna’s vessel.

I feel like there’s more I’m forgetting, but I’ll double check everything later. Also sorry if someone has pointed this out before, it’s entirely likely I’m not the first and just missed it bc I’m not super active in the fandom. Idk if you know anything about attachment styles but I was just thinking about them in regards to my fanfic and I’m very curious what you think Bucky’s attachment style is in IAAFYF and maybe what Brock and Steve’s are too.

Bucky is sooooooo disorganized it's almost funny. He kind of has this mentality of "I'm not good enough to be loved so I immediately distrust anyone who likes me." He's always afraid of being alone and unloved but he also doesn't feel like he deserves love?? And so he sort of vacillates between pulling people closer and pushing them away.

I would say Brock has an anxious attachment style? He's super sensitive to criticism or questioning, he's jealous, and as much as he would never admit it, he absolutely needs to feel needed. Instead of being super withdrawn and quiet about it, though, he takes it all out on Bucky and tries to trap him so he'll never be abandoned.

Steve is avoidant, I would say. He feels very alone and feels like he can't rely on others so he would rather never get attached than get attached and hurt. But he has worked towards being more secure, especially in his communication.

headcanons/idk what splurge about mcd aaron & aphmau BECAUSE I SAID SO.

i need to talk about them because i just do. my thoughts on them need to be heard.

btw!!! typing this at work during my break so thoughs WILL be completely disorganized and there will be constant run on sentences!

first i’m going to talk about aaron because OH MY FUCKING GOD.

he could’ve been such a interesting character if he wasn’t reduced to aph’s love interest once again and if jess and jason could’ve shown more of his character.

i truly believe that jess was trying to do some shitty indirect characterization and flesh out his character by not outright saying it, but she done a really shitty job; the only reason why being her target audience at the time was younger and she didn’t want to expose them to more “mature themes” or some shit.

aaron is not a well written character at all and tbh all i see him as is “woah, ‘sexy’ (not really) mysterious man” who has absolutely not character depth. i wish jess could’ve delved more into him being a lord, a father and husband, and his vendetta against zane to give us more insight of his character. jess gave us little crumbs and pieces about him (like him being a broken human or some shit like that??? would’ve been cool if she incorporated some magic shit into that). he’s just so bland and boring and he needed so much more character development than he got.

time for aarmau…

SO. first off, aaron and aph’s relationship came out of fucking no where. it literally feels like jess pulled that straight out of her ass hole because of how random it was to me when i was younger. once again, i believe that the reason for it that is that jess is really bad at foreshadowing and shit, so the relationship came out of nowhere (also bc jason is really weird but we’re not going to talk about that…). it’s just so weird that jess made their relationship such like, a secret thing, in s2 but gave it so much more light on s3 like we knew everything about it?? which i guess i can kinda excuse because she didn’t even like how she was taking it, but it’s still super weird.

ok, done with that rambling…now for headcanons about aaron and aarmau :3

aaron is in his late mid to late 30s, possibly early 40s

he is BUFF. like buff buff.

and tall, super tall. like tbh i think he’d be like 6’5-6’6

SCRUFFY!!! he has a little beard that he doesn’t have time nor the energy to shave off

actually kinda shy—he’s only seems so mysterious bc he’s traumatized and also pretty shy

they were never in love.

aph was stressed w/ lillith, garroth still being in the irene demension, laurance struggling with the calling, the phoenix alliance, and the whole weird goddess powers shit that she needed comfort in someone

aaron was the one she chose

he understood loosing everything in less than a day, he understood her feeling if loss, so she latched to him

aaron on the other hand, was reminded of his late wife by aph; they acted so similar and there was just a touch of resemblance that drew aaron to aph

all of this mixed together led to and accidental kiss and hookup in the woods that night it was “took dark to go back”

the kiss right before aaron’s sacrifice was not one of love to aph, but one final kiss to his wife that he wished he could’ve gave to her

aph struggled with his death because she didn’t love him like a lover, but because she had lost one of her closest friends while garroth and laurence were gone: the only one who she believed could truly understand what she was going through

so sorry that was a lot 😭
