im seeing the humanity and personhood of characters specifically created and designed to be subhuman and inhuman, btw. probably because the ways they're coded to be subhuman directly mirror a long history of dehumanization and demonization of IRL people.

I have thought long and hard about the concept of an entire species being denoted as inherently Evil, and how if there is even one who breaks away you cannot write off the entire species as inherently evil because it is proof that they DO have choices and are NOT all Evil, they're just brought up that way, or are being controlled. you fucking dunce.

I am one of those less-than-human people who's movements and thoughts and speech they are modeled after, though I'm certainly not the most obvious case. and I see you uncritically marking them down as subhuman and unworthy of consideration. and I am judging you. btw.
