“Y/N! Need a copy of this report please!”
“Sure thing!”
“Hey! Is my handwriting sloppy ? I’ve always wanted to know”
“Well all I will say is ...maybe try writing slower”
“Argh! knew it”
You were full of soft giggles as you typed away in your typewriter. The phone rang with much gusto until you finally picked it up.
“Colorado Springs PD, how may I help you?...” you answered. With habit, you quickly took your notepad with one hand as you listened to the caller, “Uh huh...” you muttered, whilst writing down, “...sure. I will relay the message to him. Thank you for calling!” You said before you hung up.
Apart from the nonstop sounds of countless typewriters being utilized across the whole room, your ears were always brimming with requests, inquiries and complaints from all. Be it officers, detectives and civilians. Why wouldn’t it be? You were a secretary in the Intelligence Division.
Being mostly surrounded by the detectives in the precinct, you were in the company of quite an interesting bunch.
“Y/N?” Especially One person in particular. “Yes Flip?”
Cheerfully, you greeted. Wearing one of his signature flannel shirts, Detective Flip Zimmerman stood in front of your desk there with his partner Jimmy Creek. “...Could you help me draft a letter to the sergeant, please?”
“Sure thing Flip...” you said, flipping into a new page in the notepad, “I’m just gonna need some details” you continued, “What is this pertaining to?”
“It’s about my resignation”
The pen suddenly dropped out of your hand.
“Your WHAT??“ You yelled out. Never did you think you’d be this loud as you were just now.
Finally unable to contain himself, Jimmy burst into laughter, forcing Flip and the others to join him. Upon realizing their scheme, you scowled.
“Not funny gentlemen” you said sternly, getting up from your chair. “Awww...you should have seen the look on your face” “Well, good for you Jimmy!” You said sarcastically, with your arms folded, watching Jimmy reenact your reaction to the rest of the gang. Shaking your head, you smiled eventually, finding the humor in the situation as you sat down. These men may be detectives, but the inner child had never left their bodies. “Sorry about that” Flip said softly, making you realize he was still standing by your desk. He sounded remorseful, you could tell from his voice. “It’s alright” you replied with a chuckle , before you began to type again.   “Didn’t think you’d be so surprised though” he said, watching you work while casually leaning against the desk. “No it’s just-” looking up, you quickly paused upon seeing his face, “....well you’re a good detective. And...it would be a mighty shame to see you go” you said.
“Thanks” With his eyes never leaving yours, he headed over to his own desk.
When it came to the matters of a criminal investigation, withholding information was a resounding no. But when it came to the matters of your heart, you knew it was best to withhold the most intimate details that lingered within. Especially when those details included your deep, affectionate feelings towards Flip Zimmerman.
It was obvious, You were drawn to him from the very first day. Being the first one you’ve encountered in Colorado Springs PD, he left a lasting impression. You could never forget that first day.
“Why are you staring like that?” He said that day, upon finding your eager eyes staring at the Colorado Springs PD signboard outside the building. Blushing with embarrassment, you struggled to answer. “It’s just that...I’ve never worked for Police before. It’s just unbelievable”  You remembered yourself mutter shyly, looking at the tall figure next to you. “Well...believe it. You’re one of us now”He said, before walking away.
You remembered that small smile he gave. The way he made you feel inclusive with just one line. And the way he looked out for you in the precinct without making you feel you were a pity party.
The silent working hours allowed you to appreciate the handsome man he was. The flannel, the hair, the mustache certainly grew on you, to the point where maintaining eye contact was a difficult task. Possible but difficult.
Jimmy’s laughter did not seem to fade, causing Rookie detective Ron Stallworth to enter the room with curiosity.
“Morning Everyone” he said looking around.
“Ron...” Jimmy cried out, “...you just missed something hilarious” he said, still in the midst of sniggers. Ron looked quite confused.
“Really?” He asked with a chuckle, “And what is that?”
“My embarrassment...”You answered, shaking your head, inciting more laughter from everyone in the room.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“You always have it up”
“Huh?”
Confused, you looked at Flip from your desk. Running his fingers through his raven hair, his inquisitive expression remained unchanged.
“Your hair...” he said, “It’s always up. Why?”
Feeling your high hair bun on the back of your head, you understood what he meant.
“Well...It’s proper. Isn’t it?” You said.
Being in a workplace, you never intended to look like a distraction. For it was easier to be one as a woman. So you wanted to be far from one. Hair bun, white shirt tucked in a navy blue skirt, you were the definition of proper.
“Y/L/N...” Sergeant Trapp came out of his office. You liked Trapp. He was kind to you.
“I know this isn’t your usual rodeo but...do you mind staying back tonight for some overtime? Gotta hell a lot of paperwork to finish up”
“Of course sir...” you answered in an instant. You’d rather slave away and finish up the work than leave it hanging for later.
And so you did. Two hours into overtime, you noticed the detectives haven’t left office. Huddled around Stallworth’s desk, Zimmerman, Creek and Trapp were engaged in a serious conversation while Ron was on the phone. From the chatter collected in the room, you were well informed of the current investigation about the clan, the organization. You could not forget Ron’s daring attempt that started the case, and grouped the detectives together.
“Oh Mr. Duke I’m so glad you asked” Ron said out loud, as he played his redneck persona, “What happened that day, it just boils my blood just thinking about it. Who do those colored folk think they are? Am I right?” Watching the others laugh silently, you could not help but stifle a grin.
“My sister?”
Ron began, suddenly in the mist of thinking, “Pamela? Oh she’s doing great ...” he said, making you furrow your brows with confusion, “In fact, she is dying to talk to you, Sir!” Just like the others, you were very confused. Even more so when Ron was looking directly at you. “You would?” He said, “Aww that would be mighty kind of you sir, let me just grab her” Covering the phone, he sat up, forcing everyone to direct their attention to you.
“Get over here” he mouthed at you. Your eyes widened.
“What?” You mouthed back. Snapping his finger, Flip finally understood what Ron was trying to do. You finally got up as you watched him walk towards you.
“Do it!” Flip said softly.
“Do what?” You asked with genuine confusion while walking with him to Ron’s desk.
“Come on! We’ve seen you do that impression” Ron whispered. He was right. To kill boredom, you would occasionally do an impression of Pamela, Ron’s imaginary sister who claimed to have been accosted by coloreds. You only did it for fun. Never did you think for once it was an audition, and now you were offered the part.
“What? But that’s just crazy” you said.
“This...would be perfect for us. This is gonna help us a lot” Flip said, looking at you. His words did not pressure you. Instead they gently convinced you to see the logic behind all this. Ron’s eyes gleamed as you sighed and took the phone.   “H-Hello?” You answered with a raised voice, “Oh my word...is this really Mr. Duke?” You feigned surprise, letting out an excited laughter. You played along in this game with an unexpected confidence. And Duke seemed to have bought it “Can I just say what an honor it is to hear your voice, Sir!”
Excitement was evident in Ron’s face, while the Sergeant looked surprised. But none of that mattered to you when you saw Flip’s look of admiration, hidden in his face in the form of a small smile.
Grabbing the phone from you, Ron gave you a thumbs up, as he continued the conversation.“Mr. Duke, this is Ron again...” he began, “As much as my sister would love to talk, she’s busy making dinner. Hehe...yes sir...” he said, his voice growing softer “... women sure do belong in the kitchen”
He added, shooting a teasing look at you, watching you roll your eyes and the others silently snigger. But halfway through, you saw Ron’s eyes widen.
“Oh! Really?” He said, “Wow I’d be honored sir. Thank you! Alright, You have a lovely evening too”
Hanging up, everyone held their breath until he finally spoke.
“Well...the big guy’s even more impressed, thanks to you” he said, pointing at you, “...Walter’s gonna give me a call with the meeting details for tonight...Flip, get ready for a Cross Burning” Ron said, setting his gaze over at Zimmerman, who merely nodded. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Y/N...what are you still doing here? Go home. I’ll drop you“
Jimmy may have teased you earlier, but he always had cared for you like a sibling. Hence he was surprised to still find you at the office around midnight.
“No Jim it’s okay...” you said, whilst stifling a yawn, “...got some reports to finish up anyway”
Truthfully, with your experience, finishing up paperwork was easy as pie. But the reason that kept you from leaving had no relation to any form of paperwork whatsoever.
With Flip and Ron out meeting the clan for the Cross Burning, you could not help but worry for Flip’s safety. Tonight especially, more than you ever did before.
Sure, Ron would be there to look out, for him. You knew he had his back. But worrying was never correlated with logic.
With Paperwork completed, You searched for petty excuses to hang around. Anything to keep yourself occupied until you could see him walk in through the door, alive and well.
With your eyelids getting heavy, you were tempted to close them, drifting into sleep. Maybe just 10 minutes, you thought. With your head on the table, you let the exhaustion take charge.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The subtle creaking noises of furniture woke you. Opening your eyes slowly, you sensed that morning had dawned already. The office was empty.
And Flip was standing before you.
Relief washing over you like cool water over one’s face, you quickly covered  your mouth to wipe away any form of saliva you had. Embarrassingly, you greeted him with a sleepy smile. “The burning went well I’m guessing?”
“Yep...” he said, “although too much burning for my taste”
You sniffed the hot coffee in the air, which got stronger as he handed you a cup full of it.
“Figured You’d need a good wake up” he said, as you accepted it. “Yeah I do, with the accidental sleeping” you chuckled, taking a sip.
“Yeah, plus you...snore” Flip said, finally giving up to sniggers. You dropped your jaw in shock. “What? I do? Oh no...”You cried out frustratingly, laughing alongside him,  “...was I loud ?” You asked in a whisper.
“No...” he said, sitting on your desk, “...of course not”
“Oh good” Shaking your head in disbelief, you casually took off the hairpins off your messy head, letting the cascade of hair flow over your shoulders.
“Wait...” Flip said, “...you got uh...” Reaching out, he casually brushed a strand of hair off your face, which did not alarm you. For all the times you’ve waited for him to do this, you were secretly ecstatic. The moment eyes locked in each other’s, his hand did not leave. Instead his thumb grazed over your left temple. The way he stopped by your cheek, seemed to be a physical way of seeking permission. And your unaffected silence was your consent.
His touch comforted you, and for a man of his stature he was as gentle as he could be. As much as you were silent and welcoming, you wanted to make your intentions clearer. You took a daring risk the moment thumb brushed over your mouth. Pressing your lips against his finger, you embraced it with adoration, making sure he could feel it to the inner core.
And within seconds, your risk was deemed worthy the moment he moved towards you, quickly kissing you on the lips.
A sense of unrealized fulfillment came over you as you kissed Flip Zimmerman. You were excited, invigorated and intoxicated at the same time.
Pulling away, deep breaths were exchanged as foreheads were placed together. “Pretty...” Flip blurted out shyly, “....you look pretty with your hair down” he said, with his fingers tangled in your loose hair. You chuckled. “Thanks...” you said, placing the coffee cup on the table, “....you should see me in my normal clothes..” you joked, “I look much better “ you added with a smile. Flip’s eyes grew warm.
“Yeah I should...” He smiled back, “...maybe when we grab a bite sometime...”
Overjoyed, you kissed him once again with even more enthusiasm, grateful for the overtime work shift that made all this possible. ——————————————————

You’ve Got A Friend In Me
Tumblr media
Request: Hi! I was just wondering if you would make a sibling Harry Potter imagine (post I dunno what y’all call it) where the reader is a younger sibling ( maybe to Harry or whoever idk you choose) and they have always been the outcast of the family, always feeling like they were in their siblings shadows. They are shy, quiet, introverted, and work really hard (but never ask for help). Maybe they can be in Ravenclaw (if their in the timeline maybe besties with Luna?) Please tag me! I love you byee!

A/N: Sorry this took so long. I hope you like it. I feel like I could’ve done so much more with this but it was getting long. Hopefully, this is similar to what you wanted. Thank you for putting up with my disappearance for a while. It’ s nice to be back.
I had always lived in the shadow of my older brother. I expected it though, why wouldn’t I? He had survived an attack from Voldemort when he was just a baby. Sure it hurt that I got overlooked all the time but Harry was the chosen one. Sure I was basically a miracle baby since my mom had been pregnant with me when she was killed and I by sheer luck and magic had been able to survive. However, not many people knew that. Most thought that my parents, James, and Lily Potter, only had one child. I’m not gonna lie it sucks knowing that there are very few people that know I exist but that also means I don’t have to worry about everyone talking about me. I’ve seen what it does to Harry, the constant pestering, and asking to see his scar. It is a lot for him to handle, so I guess I am kind of glad that I don’t have to deal with that.
Living with Uncle Sirius had its ups and downs too. I loved him because he was one of the few people I had left but he did tend to overlook me too. It was something about how Harry looked so much like our dad that Uncle Sirius would get distracted and lost in the memories of the good old days. Back when he had all of his friends around him and did not have so many burdens. Not that he ever saw Harry or me as a burden but raising two kids is a handful. I know he still loves me just as much as Harry but sometimes I can tell he just prefers to spend time with Harry.
While I was overlooked at home and in public I hoped that it would change when I finally went to Hogwarts. This was my chance to finally be someone. To have my own friends and someone to talk to. The day had finally come I was off to finally start my schooling. I felt the nerves bubbling inside of me as the platform approached. Harry and Uncle Sirius stopped in front of an unmarked pillar between platforms nine and ten.
“Okay, so we just run through here and then our platform will be on the other side,” Harry tells me. I give him a nervous smile before turning my gaze back towards the wall.
Uncle Sirius had our cart with our trunks and Harry’s pet owl stacked on top. He decided to take the lead and run through first. Watching him make it through safety had reassured me but I still felt my nerves running wild. As Harry made a move to enter the platform I grabbed his hand. With a slight squeeze of my hand, he took off towards the wall. We both made it to the other side and a smile broke out on my face. I was finally doing it, I was going to Hogwarts.
However, my smile faded as Harry dropped my hand in favor of going to meet up with his friends. I know that he didn’t mean to leave me behind, that he was just excited to finally see his friends but it stung. My brother had left me to figure out this on my own. Much like the rest of my life, I would be doing this alone.
I waited next to Uncle Sirius until Harry finally came back to say goodbye. I followed his lead and soon enough I was following him onto the Hogwarts Express. He had rejoined his friends and they were chatting away as I trailed behind. Soon enough they ducked into a cabin that was already filled with a few other students. I stood by the doorway for a moment and noticed that there would not be a seat for me so I nodded to Harry and made my way down the hallway.
I stepped into the nearest empty cabin and pulled out a book. I let the words pull me from my sadness of the first day of school. I let the story wash away my anger towards my brother for leaving me to handle myself again. Before I knew it I was whisked away into a new world where I could feel happy and included.
I pulled myself away from the book as someone sat down across from me. She appeared to be around my age and had striking blonde hair and a faraway look in her eyes.
Whispering slightly she introduced herself, “Hello, I’m Luna.”
I introduced myself and before I knew it she was in her own world again. I turned back towards the book set in my lap and indulged in the thrilling pages once more. It wasn’t long into the trip when Luna spoke up once more.
“I’m quite excited for my first year. I do reckon it’ll be much fun.” Her eyes never left the window but I didn’t mind. It was nice to have someone to talk to for once. Most of the time at home I’d sat idly by listening to Harry and Uncle Sirius talk and never giving any real input.
“I’m a first-year too, I hope I’ll be able to make some friends.” I confide in her. As the words leave my mouth she turns to me. Her stormy gray eyes meet mine and she wrinkles her forehead.
“But I believe you’ve already made one. And if I’m not mistaken your last name implies that you are related to Harry Potter so you have him too. Don’t you?” Her voice is light and airy and it makes me feel dumb for thinking I wouldn’t make any friends.
“Thank you, Luna,” I say.
She looks even more confused, “What for?” She asks.
“For being someone to talk to and for being a friend.”
“Well, you can always talk to me as long as the pesky nargles don’t take up all my time.”
“Nargles?” I ask. The word sounds strange and I can’t even begin to imagine what strange magical creature they might be. However, before I can dwell on it too long she’s started telling me all about them.
The train ride ends faster than I expect and as we all head towards the castle Luna stops once more. This time in front of the carriages. She reaches up and places her hand in the empty space in front of it. When I realize that she is no longer walking with me I turn.
“What are you doing?” I ask.
“Can’t you see them? They’re beautiful.” She whispers.
“What are you talking about there’s nothing there.” I watch Harry and his friends pass us and he shoots me a questioning look. I shrug in response before turning back to my friend. My friend what a weird thing to be able to say. It brought a smile to my face to think that I wouldn’t be so lonely anymore. Not that I was ever that lonely, but now I can talk to someone. I can have a deep meaningful conversation with someone and not feel as if I am wasting their time.
“I wish you could see them.” She says before turning and catching up to me.
“Why do you think you can see them and I can’t?” I ask while trying to see if I can make out where my brother is among the crowds of students.
“I believe I’ve read about them before. I think they are called thestrals. From what I remember only those who have witnessed death can see them.” She tugs at her earring a little before turning towards me. She gives me a look and I can tell she knows what I am going to ask.
So I state it simply, “Who?” It almost feels wrong to be asking such a personal question so soon.
“My mother, I don’t remember much since I was young.”
“I guess we are in the same boat then.” I joke trying to lighten the mood. She cracks a small smile and we spend the rest of the trip up to the castle in silence.
After the sorting ceremony, Luna seems to appear out of nowhere. She grabs my arm and spins me around to face her. The smile on her face is the largest I’ve seen from her.
“We’re both in the same house, new friend.” She says the last part in an almost mocking way which makes me laugh. My words from earlier seem so ridiculous now.
“I can’t believe it. I hope my family isn’t upset. My parents, uncle, and brother are all in Gryffindor.”
“Don’t be silly it doesn’t matter. And besides, at least it isn’t Slytherin.” She grabs my arm and leads me towards the Ravenclaw common room.
Before we can make it out of the great hall another hand is grabbing at my arm. This time it is Harry. His friends are no longer following him.
“I’m so proud of you little sis. I know it’s not Gryffindor but at least you’re not in Slytherin.”
“Hey, that’s exactly what Luna said you would say.” I laugh.
“I know you’re gonna do great. You’re so smart and are capable of anything.” His words make me smile wider and my cheeks start to hurt.
“Thanks, it’s so nice to finally hear someone say that.” I know I should be riding out my happiness but I can’t help let one little jab slid in.
The smile falls off his face and he looks at me. He wraps one arm around my shoulder and pulls me into him. I watch Luna walk-off to give us some space.
“I know I was a pretty awful brother but now that you're here I promise I will spend more time with you. It’ll finally be just you and me for once.” I like the sound of it but I know it won’t last long.
“It would be nice to finally spend some time with you,” I say.
“Plus my friend Ron has a little sister who is a first-year too. I think you would like her.” He bumps my shoulder and I give a small shrug.
“Maybe,” I say.
“Just meet her and see if you hit it off. And if you do then we would get to spend even more time together since our friend groups will overlap.” His smile is dorky and I can’t help but laugh at him.
“You’re the only one that I know who thinks about things like that. It was nice talking to you big bro but I gotta go find Luna.” I give him a wave and head off in the direction of the common room.
I find Luna sitting on one of the chairs near the fire starring off in the distance once more. It’s a usual occurrence to find her lost in her own thoughts. Sitting down next to her I let my thoughts wash over me as well. I finally feel happy with life. I’m in a new place with new people. I’ve already made a friend, plus a possible new one, and Harry is talking to me more. Maybe Hogwarts was what I needed all along. It finally gave me a place where I felt like I belonged. It’s the new start I needed and I know this is bound to be a great first year of school.

Hogwarts Mystery Survey!
I was tagged by...well, a few people actually! Sorry, I know it took me a while to get to this, as it always does with tagged posts. Nevertheless! This was created by the epic @carewyncromwell So go check out her blog!
I shall now signal @missnight0wl @electricslytherindog @nostalgiaslithersin @ladyluckqueen and @treebels Unless you’ve already done this, of course. But otherwise square up! Y’all have been tagged :)
Let’s do this!
Favourite Gryffindor:
Oh, I’m not going to make many friends with this choice...
But my favorite Gryffindor is Patricia Rakepick. Look, even if she turns out to be completely evil with no plot twists about her loyalties...at least they gave us a genuinely evil Gryffindor, right? I’m sorry, I just...really want to believe we don’t know the whole story. Because Year 5 gave us so many great moments with Rakepick, as well as her bond with MC. The Potterverse has never had a character quite like Rakepick before, but she’s just as interesting as Snape or Dumbledore. She’s infinitely complex and it’s such a waste if she amounts to nothing more than the Cabal’s lackey. Honorable mentions: Jae Kim. He is such a mood.
Least Favourite Gryffindor:
Did you think we were done talking about Rakepick? Oh no, because right now she is my least favorite Gryffindor too, for reasons that are much more obvious and don’t really need to be explained. She’s done terrible things, and she needs to pay for her crimes...and on a personal level, she broke my heart. I don’t want this to be how her story ends. I don’t want to hate her, but with what she’s done, what else am I supposed to think?
Favourite Hufflepuff:
You can tell that the Haywood sisters were the main project for Hufflepuff, and while I find both of them to be quite interesting, I just have a real soft spot for Beatrice. I love the way she went from being a tiny Penny to being anything but. I love how she went from being little more than a plot device in Year 5 to forcibly carving her own identity in Year 6. I like the parallels between her and MC and Jacob. Both sisters are interesting, so you can consider Penny an honorable mention, I just like Bea more.
Least Favourite Hufflepuff:
Sorry to any of his fans, but...it’s got to be Diego. I will fully admit that we do not know enough about him right now to judge fairly, but that is, in some ways, the problem. When I first saw him in Year 5, he gave me the impression of being a total sleaze who would be weird toward the other students (particularly the females) because he was into them. And while the scenes he eventually gets haven’t really given credence to that...they haven’t disproved it either.
Favourite Ravenclaw:
Let me tell  you a fairy tale, everyone: Once upon a time there was a fascinating and compelling character, a queen of pranks, who had a curious history with the girl who was the game’s antagonist at the time. She had a great bond with MC and a cool backstory...but the developers soon forgot she existed, and removed her from the dating quests even though she had already been there for the first two. This is the story of the underrated flower. The tale of the toad-keeper. This is the story of Tulip Karasu.
Least Favourite Ravenclaw:
Probably Andre. For similar reasons to why I don’t like Diego that much, I just don’t think his character was handled very well. Don’t get me wrong, he had a promising start....but then they didn’t do anything with him. Furthermore, his personality just isn’t my favorite. He strikes me as being a little self-absorbed and not especially nice to other people, at least from the vibes that I get.
Favourite Slytherin:
Let me tell you a fairy tale, everyone. About the toad-keeper’s true love, the song of the shadows...Merula Snyde. Okay, okay, no more fairy tales. But in all seriousness, she’s a a real contender for being my favorite character in the game. Right up there with Rakepick. I just find Merula to have so many layers to her character, she has so much history influencing her actions. And yeah, she’s frustrating as all hell, but that’s part of it. And while she may be an acquired taste, I know I’m not alone in thinking that she can be positively adorable.  She’s a character that I hope reaches her full potential, a character I just wish I could rescue and get her the therapy she needs.
Least Favourite Slytherin:
This one is genuinely tough for me. None of the Slytherin characters in this game are badly written, and none of them are that unlikable. Do I pick Ismelda, for her stunt with the Love Potion? Well, even in spite of that, I find myself hoping she can learn from her mistakes. Do I pick Barnaby, because as sweet as he is, he’s normally kind of one-note? Well, even in spite of that, I always love it when he’s onscreen. Could go for Felix, but he’s actually my favorite Prefect, and choosing a Prefect for a least favorite would feel way too easy anyhow. No, let’s go with Liz. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Liz. But she’s extremely under-utilized and we just don’t know that much about her.
Favourite Quidditch Character:
This one, on the other hand, doesn’t require any pondering at all. It’s Orion. I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this lonely sage. He deserves the world. He deserves a hug from his Quidditch family. Every time he’s onscreen, passing on his wisdom, I just get a big goofy smile on my face. He’s basically all the best parts of Dumbledore, and he’s a better big brother to MC than Jacob could ever be. Also, his hair is fantastic and I can’t wait until I get him to LV 10 because I want it.
Least Favourite Quidditch Character:
This one is purely a matter of choosing someone by process of elimination. It’s not Orion, of course, and if you’ve been on my blog for a while then you know I do not hate Skye Parkin at all, so it isn’t her. I also quite like Murphy, so...the only character left, who we still don’t know that much about, is Erika Rath. In this case, “least favorite” is a default term. I like Erika and I will gladly defend her...just, not as much as the team trio.
Favourite Teacher:
My immediate answer is Flitwick. Even though McGonagall is one of my favorite characters overall, from the original books...when it comes to HPHM, she hasn’t been as involved. Flitwick on the other hand, has gotten fantastic development as a character and some genuinely great moments of bonding with MC. He was one of the nicest surprises about this game. There are so many little things - like him realizing, without MC needing to say anything, that they are going to keep pursuing Beatrice’s rescue no matter what he says. Another moment I love comes in Year Three, when he’s the only Head of House to show any sympathy to MC about banning them from Hogsmeade. Unlike the other Heads, you really get the sense that Flitwick doesn’t want to do so, that he’s being overruled by Dumbledore. An honorable mention could go to Rakepick, but....eh.
Least Favourite Teacher:
I’m gonna get a bit out of the ordinary for this one. Sure, I could say Snape, but in this game he’s miles beyond his usual quality. He’s much more tolerable and even pretty funny sometimes. Sprout is kinda boring to me, I suppose, but she’s not that bad. I don’t know if Dumbledore technically counts, and Filch certainly wouldn’t. Rakepick, despite everything she did, was technically a good teacher. No, for my least favorite teacher, I’m gonna go with Madam Hooch. I’ve never liked her. Not just in this game, either. One moment she says “I don’t believe you, but I don’t have any proof you’re lying.” and then five seconds later, “Don’t ever let me catch you in a lie again.” I’m sorry, what do you mean again? Not believing someone is not the same thing as “catching” them in a lie, you arrogant bludger.
Favourite Non-Teacher Adult:
Both in the books and in the game, it is Hagrid and it will always be Hagrid. He is the biggest cinnamon roll and I would gladly eat his rock cakes no matter what they do to my teeth. Friends are more important than teeth! Just let MC take a break from all this Cursed Vault nonsense and go off to the Reserve with Hagrid to pet some nifflers.
Least Favourite Non-Teacher Adult:
Folks, here’s a fairy tale about-no, we’re not doing that again. It’s Dumbledore. The punch line is Dumbledore. Setting aside all of the terrible things that he does in the books...HPHM sees him constantly rewarding MC’s dangerous behavior and once again stuffing the ballot for the House Cup...only to abruptly change his tune at the end of Year Four and give MC a year’s worth of detentions for doing what he previously encouraged, and only MC gets these detentions, not their friends. The very next year, he sanctions Rakepick’s apprentice team and they continue where MC left off. Not to mention that post Portrait-Vault, Dumbledore appoints himself as MC’s makeshift therapist and keeps talking like he understands MC’s feelings, like he knows what’s best for them. The game fucking forces you to tell him about your feelings, and god damn it where is the option to say “None of your business.” Like UGH.
Rate Rowan on a scale of 1-10, 1 being “Why are we even friends?” and 10 being “BFFs for Life!”:
100,000,000. What’s that you say? I went well over the cap? Nonsense. I simply gave Rowan a score as high as they deserve. I know we are all appreciating them a lot more now, for obvious reasons...but I can recall back in the day when most people didn’t spare them a second glance. (Though to be fair, MC didn’t either, some of the time.) Not me though. I was always loyal, thank you very much. I always knew this adorkable cinnamon roll who would have taken a bullet for MC (and...pretty much did.) deserved more love. They deserved the world.
Rate Jacob on a scale of 1-10, 1 being “You’re dead to me” and 10 being “Love you forever, big bro!!”:
A solid 5. I believe that’s the only score I can fairly give, because there’s still so much of Jacob that is uncertain and hasn’t been explored. But the character we released from the Portrait, assuming it is the real Jacob...has been kind of an asshole since he got back. On the other hand, he was sealed in a Portrait for five years. Five times longer than even Beatrice was. That has to mess a person up, right? So perhaps I should be more forgiving. I honestly don’t know.
Rate MC and your similarities on a scale of 1-10, 1 being “MC is nothing like me” to 10 being “MC is ttly a self-insert lol”:
Is this just like, MC in general? Or our own personal MCs? Because with Gail...I’d have to say, maybe a 4. She does inherit some of my qualities but she’s primarily inspired from one of my friends. Luca, though? Luca is easily a 9. After all, when I first created them, I used a file that was once my “personal” file. So it was that they inherited a lot of them-self from me.
Favourite Side Quest:
You’re all going to think that I’m weird, but my favorite quest, at least right now, is the Comet TLSQ. I like it for a lot of the reasons that people hate it. I think that it’s an interesting and amusing story. How can I not love a quest that ends with a whole field of cruppies? Beyond that, if was during this quest that I really grew to love the Quidditch characters as a team. And, yes, this quest only made me enjoy Skye as a character all the more. What can I say, I just had a big smile on my face during the whole ordeal, especially when the three Quidditch characters were together. Honorable mentions: The Frog Choir TLSQ. I’m a major Tulula shipper, enough said.
Least Favourite Side Quest:
The one that immediately comes to my mind is the Knighthood TLSQ. I’m sorry but the whole thing just felt incredibly pointless. Why does MC even want to be a knight? Couldn’t they be doing something better with their time, like pursuing the next vault, doing some homework, practicing Quidditch, playing Gobstones with friends or....basically anything else? Sir Cadogan is funny in small doses but he gets old really quickly. He has that in common with Lockhart. Oh, and Penny is shoe-horned in. Again. Big surprise.
Your Ideal Ending for Patricia Rakepick:
-Sigh- Okay, you all know what’s coming. I don’t really want Rakepick to die. I don’t want her to go to Azkaban. I’m convinced that she probably will die no matter what, but that isn’t what I want. First and foremost, I want her to be a double agent. Working for Dumbledore or otherwise. I want Rowan’s death to have been staged - not just because it would absolve her of the crime, but also because it would mean Rowan comes back...and that the forest scene would actually make sense. There’s no explaining away her torturing Merula, other than her stalling for time, which isn’t an excuse but it would be enough to return her to being the “ruthless good” that she was before. I want her to sacrifice her own life for MC and Merula, but she need not necessarily die in the process. She could be saved. On the other hand, a death might be more poignant. But if not that, she could go on the run. I mean, she did cast an Unforgivable on a child. I’m not sure even Dumbledore’s protection could get her out of paying for that. Either way, I want her to blindside R the same way she blind-sided us in the Portrait Vault.
I made it to the end! And somehow, I managed to praise Beatrice, Merula, and Skye...along with bashing Dumbledore...and insisting that Rakepick is secretly good, all in one post! This is like...the ultimate trailer for my blog.

the ilvermorny exchange (3)
part 3 | index | masterlist
summary: you’re an Ilvermorny student, and you’ve applied to the International Magic Student Exchange Program to attend your sixth year at Hogwarts instead. You and your friends are excited to go to school overseas, but a certain blonde prefect has decided to personally make your exchange year suck. You decide to give him a taste of his own medicine. (draco x reader, enemies to lovers, female reader) words: 5,382 (omg) warnings: cursing A/N: okay everyone buckle up... it’s time. and again just as a reminder this is a no-voldemort AU! otherwise some things won’t make sense. Also, sorry if your Ilvermorny house isn’t horned serpent. i just used that to make the scene easier! taglist: @tragically-cordelia @mhftrs @2pumpkin-pasty @gingerlouisgirl @seriouslynotfunny @clockworkherondale @cherrie511 @songforhema
◈◈◈
As the December holiday approached, all the Ilvermorny students were getting excited to head home for the break. You were sitting your common room with a few of the other students, talking about your plans for break.
“I’m so excited to go home and have some fucking grits, dude… this porridge shit they eat here? Absolute trash.” Jason lamented.
“I KNOW! I just want a real buttermilk biscuit with some jam for the first time in four months,” you agreed. “A cracker is not a biscuit! It’s a fucking cracker! Also I want coffee in the morning, not tea.”
“Y’all talking bout breakfast, bro I just want some barbecue,” Kenny piped up. You all moaned in unison.
“A hamburger… literally anything besides these fucking meat pies. I’m over it. At least the dessert here is good.” Alex sighed.
“Do they let students cook here? Maybe I should ask my mom to send me back with some recipes.” You gazed up at the American flag which was hung over the mantle in the common room, charmed to always be fluttering as if in the wind, daydreaming about your mom’s homemade bread.
“I hear the Hufflepuff dorms are right near the kitchen, I can ask Madeline about it tomorrow,” Sarah offered.
“We should make some of our friends here some American food.” Alex said. She and Chris were playing mini gobstones on the table in the center of the room, and she waved her wand to make her move.
You sat up with a start. “Ohmygod, guys. What if we threw a Christmas party before the break? We can make a bunch of American food, invite our friends…”
Alice and Sarah exchanged a glance. “That’s a great idea, y/n!” Everyone else agreed.
“We can play them some American Christmas music!”
“And do a gift exchange!”
Ideas flew across the room. Chris and Sarah went off to get the other students who were in their dorms to come to the common room, and the fifteen of you planned it out together. Everyone got to invite two new friends, since the Ilvermorny dorms were small and probably couldn’t hold that many people. Sarah and Alice would find out about using the kitchen and created a menu of six American Christmas staples. Alex volunteered to procure illicit substances. You and Chris were on decorations with a few other people.
“Alex, want to split our invites? We need to invite the trio,” you said after all the planning was done.
“Sure. I don’t really want to invite anyone else, so I can take Ron and Harry. You use your invite on Hermione and someone else. I know everyone loves you.” Alex said.
“Okay, if you’re sure.” You thought-- maybe you could invite Mari from magical creatures class? Or Noor, who you often saw in the library… did she like to go to parties?
You mulled it over the next day, the square of parchment with the day and time written out on it folded neatly in your robe pocket. You saw Mari at class, but she was busy and you realized you didn’t know her really that well. You didn’t see Noor in the library.
Two days before the party, you and Chris were in the common room making paper snowflakes and charming them to float near the ceiling. “Who’d you invite?” You ask.
“Emi, from my astronomy class. She’s in Slytherin, but she’s really friendly to me. Didn’t use my other invite,” he said. The scissors he’d charmed levitated in the air next to him, snipping away at a piece of paper. Chris took it and unfolded it, guiding it up to the ceiling with his wand to be with the others.
“Couldn’t think of anyone?”
“Nah. You?”
“I haven’t used my other invite either,” you confessed. “I want to, but I don’t really know anyone else who would want to come to this party.”
“Maybe you should invite someone who wouldn’t want to come. You never know, maybe they’ll have a good time,” Chris said.
“Hm, maybe you’re right.”
On the day of the party, the Ilvermorny common room was buzzing with excitement. To contribute to the American Christmas theme of the party, you’d put on your Ilvermorny house sweatshirt and a santa hat you found in Hogsmead last week. Sarah and Alice were bringing the food up from the kitchen with the help of the elves, and Alex was carting out cases of firewhiskey from back in your dorm where she’d been storing it. Someone had got the record player going, and Frank Sinatra’s Christmas album is already playing.
Around six o’clock, your guests started arriving. Emi, was one of the first to arrive. A tiny asian girl, Emi was absolutely hilarious. She tried and loved all the food that had been set out, and was excitedly asking you and Chris questions about Ilvermorny. She and Chris apparently didn’t talk near as much in class as he’d let led you to believe which you found very funny.
More people you knew began to trickle in- Ginny, Ron’s sister, who Alex had a crush on, and someone had invited Neville which made you very happy. The trio showed up soon after, and you gave each of them a hug.
“Merry Christmas you guys!”
“Merry early Christmas!” Hermione squeezed you extra tight.
“Thanks for coming.”
“Of course,” said Harry.
“Hey, where can I get one of those?” Ron pointed to the firewhiskey bottle in your hand. Hermione whacked him across the back of the head.
“God, Ron, you’re so rude!”
You just giggled. “It’s fine. Here, follow me.”
After getting Ron and Harry a drink, you all sat around in the chairs and chatted. Alex and a few other friends came over and completed the circle. You all laugh as Ron tries various American foods from his loaded plate.
“What’s fhis called again? Pasta and cheese?” Ron mumbles around the food in his mouth.
“Mac and cheese,” Alex laughs.
“It’s bloody felicious, fhat’s what if is! ‘Mione, you’ve got fo fry if.” He slides the plate in front of her, covering his mouth as a piece of pasta tries to escape. Hermione just rolls her eyes.
Tapestry-Isolt appears on the side of the cloth that faces into the common room, making a gesture. Alex jumps up from her spot on the floor. “Someone’s here.” Your hastily take a big drink from you bottle of fire whiskey.
Ron continues to prod Hermione to try the mac and cheese. You hear people raising their voices at the door. Everyone quiets down, looking to the doorway. Alex is barring the way, but you can see Malfoy’s shock of blonde hair over her shoulder.
“Dude, get out of here.”
“I’m telling you, Huckabee, I was invited.”
“By who?”
“By me.” All eyes in the room sweep to you. Alex whipped around, her jaw slack. Malfoy crossed his arms smugly. “What?” You held out your hands. “Shit gets kind of boring when he’s not around.”
The only sound in the room is young Michael Jackson’s voice coming from the record that’s playing.
“For Christ’s sake,” you sigh, standing up. People turn back to their conversations and you walk across the common room to the door. Alex gives you a look. “Give it a rest, okay?” You say, crossing your arms.
“Okay.” She suppresses a smirk and walks off.
You turn back to Draco. “You want a drink?”
He looks at you skeptically. “Sure.”
Draco moves over to an empty spot on the wall and you return with a bottle of firewhiskey for him. He takes it and has a sip, and you lean back on the wall beside him. “So,” he begins, looking out across the room. “Did you invite me so we could get in a shouting match, I can slap you and you can punch me in the nose, and then I can leave? All because you’re bored?”
“No,” you say defensively.
Draco raises his eyebrow and looks at you out of the corner of his eye.
“I was just… being nice.” You say hotly. “Chris told me to invite someone who might not enjoy parties. The Christmas spirit, all that bullshit.”
“You? being nice?” He smirks.
“I’m actually very nice, you’re just never lucky enough to get to see it.” You stick your chin up and sip from your bottle.
“Right,” he says with an eye roll. He pulls a square of parchment out of his pocket, and you recognize it as the invitation to the party you’d slipped into his robe pocket during potions two days ago. “I knew it was you. No one else I know has handwriting this atrocious.”
You slap his arm, and he chuckles. You snatch the parchment from his fingers. “My handwriting may not be that great, but it still says right here ‘festive holiday party’. I don’t think all black counts as festive.” You point to the words on the parchment, and then at his outfit.
Draco reaches down and tugs up his pant leg, exposing a green sock-clad ankle. “What do you call this then?”
“A weak attempt,” you shoot back. He lets out a small laugh and shakes his head. Your current conversation reminded you of the time up in the tree outside the courtyard. You didn’t entirely hate talking to him like this.
“What’ve you got on? It’s quite ugly.”
“My festive, American outfit.” You straighten the collar of your pullover. “This is my Ilvermorny house sweater, and it’s not ugly.”
Draco takes in the green fabric with his eyes. “What’s your house at home?”
You’re a little surprised by his interest. “I’m in Horned Serpent.” You turn to the side, and point at your house crest that’s stitched on the left breast.
“So… is that like Slytherin here?” He asks.
“I’m not sure.” You furrow your brow. “I think it would maybe be Ravenclaw. Horned Serpent favors the mind, and scholars. But I don’t really think I would be in Ravenclaw if I was sorted here. Sometimes I don’t even think I should be in Horned Serpent at home. At Ilvermorny, sometimes you can be sorted into two houses, and then you get to choose. I was sorted into Horned Serpent and Pukwudgie. I picked Horned Serpent.”
Draco was quiet as he considered this. “You can fight with the Sorting Hat here, but you can’t choose your house. Our first year, we all watched Longbottom argue with the stupid thing for almost five minutes.”
The side of your mouth quirked up. “You? How long did it take the Sorting Hat to figure out you were a Slytherin?”
“Almost immediately,” he said smugly.
“How surprising.”
In the center of the room, Alex, Chris, and the trio were watching the two of you talk. Ron was still shoveling mac and cheese into his mouth with fervor.
“God, Ron, how can you stand to eat and look at them at the same time?” Hermione said, looking slightly disgusted.
“What exactly is going on?” Harry asked, genuinely confused. “I’ve seen them fight since they day you all arrived. They can’t stand one another.”
“This is what I was fucking telling you guys! The sexual tension.” Alex slammed her hand on the table. “All she does is talk about how stupid his face is. I think she has a crush on him and doesn’t know it.”
“The other day, I told her to invite someone she didn’t think would enjoy parties, just to be nice.” Chris said. “I didn’t realize she’d take it so literally.”
“Oh, look, they’re going at it now…” Ron gestured with his fork over toward you and Draco, who were now arguing.
“What are we talking about?” Emi returned to the circle with more food and sat down next to Chris in front of the fireplace.
“How Malfoy and y/n are eye-fucking.” Alex stated.
Emi wrinkled her nose. “Whatttttt?! Her and Draco? Never. He hates her guts-- All I ever hear him talking about is how stupid her face is.”
Alex threw up her hands. “WHAT DID I SAY!”
“Here, let’s find out.” Emi put her cookie back on her plate, and waved her hands around. “Draco!”
The trio frantically tried to tell Emi to stop, but it was too late. Draco walked over, with you trailing a bit behind. “Oh, hello Emi. I didn’t realize you were coming here.”
“Yeah, same to you.” She patted the empty spot on the ground next to her. “Come sit, we’re playing a game.”
Draco awkwardly sat down, looking across the table at the trio in disgust. You walked behind them to sit on the hearth between Alex and Chris. “How did you even get here? Did you lie to Snape?” Draco asked his housemate.
“I have my ways.” Emi stated, picking her cookie back up and eating it in one bite. “How did you get here?”
“I’m the Prefect, I can go wherever I want.” Draco said, taking a sip of his firewhiskey.
Emi nodded approvingly, then brushed the crumbs off her fingers. “Let’s play truth or dare, I’ll go first. Y//n, truth or dare?”
“Uh, truth, I guess,” you said.
“Have you ever thought about kissing Draco?”
You nearly spit out the sip of firewhiskey you’d just taken, and next to you, Alex burst out laughing. You felt your face getting hot. “Uh, have I ever thought about it?”
“Yeah,” Emi said, completely blank faced.
You paused, and looked off into the distance for just a moment. “Sure. I’ve thought about it.” You took another sip from your bottle, avoiding eye contact with anyone.
Emi seemed satisfied. “Alright. Your turn, then.”
You bit your lip, then turned to Draco. “Hey Malfoy, truth or dare.”
He narrowed his eyes at you. “Truth.”
“Have you ever thought about kissing me?”
Draco didn’t miss a beat. “Have I ever thought about it?” He echoed you from moments ago.
“Yeah.”
He took a drink of firewhiskey. “Sure. I’ve thought about it.”
Hermione flopped back into her chair, looking defeated, and Ron’s mouth was open. Harry looked nearly green, while Alex’s eyes were glinting dangerously.
Emi looked pleased. “Well, there we are. I’m adjourning the game.”
“Emi, you can’t just do that.” Draco frowned. “You: truth or dare.”
“I don’t have to play, I just adjourned the game.”
“Mmm, you started it so you’re automatically playing.” Draco poked her arm. “Truth or dare?”
“Fine,” she sighed dramatically. “Dare.”
“Dare you to go eat all the rest of that disgusting-looking pie.” Draco pointed across the room to the perfectly normal looking apple pie on the table.
“Hah! Jokes on you Malfoy, this American food is delicious.” She turned to Chris on her other side. “Chris! Go get it for me.”
“Damn, what happened to please?” Chris said, but he was already getting up. Emi patted his leg as he walked by.
“Ooh, now it’s my turn again. Hm,” she tapped her chin, looking around the circle. “Hermione, truth or dare?”
Hermione grimaced. “Truth, please.”
Emi drummed her fingers together with a look of great concentration on her face. “Tell us something about about Hogwarts we don’t know.”
“Emi, that’s a lame truth,” Alex laments.
“What? She’s smart, you lot don’t know anything about here, I’m curious.” Emi takes the pie from Chris, who has just returned, and she takes a bite.
Hermione takes the compliment in stride. “Hm, well, there’s a legend that there’s a secret room underneath the girl’s bathroom on the first floor. No one ever goes in because that’s where Moaning Myrtle lives, but the times I have been I haven’t found any evidence of it. There’s loads of other secret passages across the whole castle, I’ve used the ones near the Charms room to get to class in the Towers on time before. And the Room of Requirement is supposedly somewhere on the fourth floor.” Hermione rattles on.
“What’s the Room of Requirement?” You ask.
“What it sounds like,” Hermione explains. “You go, and if you really are in need of something or a space, a door will appear. When you enter, the room will be suited to your needs. I’ve never heard of anyone going there, though.”
“I’ve been.”
All eyes turn to Draco. “What? When?” Hermione says, shocked.
“A few times. None of your business.” He shrugs.
“Mmm! I wanna go!” Emi swallows a bite of pie and throws her fork down.
“Yeah, Malfoy,” you prod. “Take us.”
Chris and Alex chime in with their agreement. Draco looks skeptical.
“Why should I?”
“Because it’s the Christmas spirit, asshole.” You get up and walk to the door, shoving your santa hat onto Draco’s head as you walk past. “Everyone! We’re going on a field trip!” You announce to the whole party. Draco glares at you, and you grin back. “Let’s go, sunshine. You lead the way.”
The large group of you troop through the halls, Draco leading the way. “I look better in this than you.” He leans against the rail of one of the moving staircases, gesturing to your hat.
“At least you’re looking slightly festive now.” You lean back on the railing opposite him.
“Sexual tensionnnnn,” Alex hisses loudly from a few steps below. You and Draco cast her matching sneers.
“You two are the ones who admitted to thinking about kissing one another, so stop looking like that.” Chris said, putting his hands up. Emi giggles, grabbing onto his arm.
“Key word: thought!” You cried. “It’s hard not to think about something when someone brings it up.”
“Oh, so you hadn’t thought about it before tonight?” Draco teased.
“NO.” You said indignantly.
The staircase slid into place and Draco sauntered off into the next corridor, shooting you a look that said ‘right, sure.’ You run up beside him and whack him on the arm. “Dick! I do not waste my precious time thinking about you.”
“Hey, that hurt!” He reaches out and shoves you sideways.
“For the love of Christ, STOP FLIRTING!” Alex yells.
“We are not!” You and Draco yell back.
You turn the corner and Draco leads everyone to what seems to be a blank wall. “Is this it?” You ask.
“Yes, now shut up so I can concentrate.” Draco closes his eyes, and everyone becomes quiet. For a few moments nothing happens, then the stone wall slowly starts to shift. Swirling lines curl around the shape of large double doors, and a round handle forms in front of Draco. He opens his eyes and looks at the doors, satisfied. “This is the room where people come when they need to hide something.”
Draco tugs the large doors open, and everyone gasps as they look in. The room seems to go on forever, stacks of objects piling up into mountains every few feet. Thin aisles weave between the piles for people to walk between. Everyone files in, going their various ways down the different paths. Draco seems pleased by everyone’s amazement.
“What’s that sound?” You ask, coming to stand beside him again.
“There’s probably a record player in here somewhere. It’s always playing when I come, so it must be broken.” Draco says.
“How often do you come here to hide stuff?” You tease.
“I told you, none of your business,” he shoots back.
“C’mon,” you gesture for him to follow you. “Let’s see if we can find it.”
Draco follows you without much question, and the voices of everyone else fade away as you go deeper into the Room. You turn various corners, trying to follow the sound of the music. “There’s so much stuff in here,” you muse aloud, letting your fingers brush over the dusty surface of a long-forgotten desk.
“It’s thousands of years of useless junk, since I assume people have been hiding thing here since Hogwarts began,” Draco answers.
You turn another corner where there’s a slightly more open area. There’s a huge shelf that’s filled with broken teacups, so many they look likely to spill over at any moment.
“I don’t think we’re getting any closer.” Draco’s voice is softer than normal, and right behind you.
You turn around and find yourself only a few inches away from his chest. “Yeah, the music, uh, sounds about the same,” you say, your eyes flitting up to his face. You can’t help but catch sight of his lips, which look incredibly soft and inviting up close.
You both move toward each other at the same time, but you also both stop just a fraction of an inch away from one another. Draco’s head is tilted down, and you can feel his gentle breath on your lips. “Draco, what are we doing?” You whisper.
He swallows before answering. “Can we just not think about it?”
Your heart feels like it’s going to flutter out of your chest. “Okay.”
Draco’s head dips down, and he captures your lips with his. At first, the kiss is soft, but it doesn’t take long for the usual fire between you to flare. You’re kissing like you argue, one of you always trying to best the other. One of Draco’s hands comes around the small of your back, his fingertips brushing against your skin, while the other flies to your neck and rests on your racing pulse. You dig your fingers into his hair, knocking your hat off his head and pulling him down towards you. He groans into your mouth.
Together, you take a step backwards so you’re up against the shelf. Your back hits it harder than you meant to and you let out a small gasp. China rattles above you.
“Y/n, is that you?”
Your lips separate with a pop, and Draco’s eyes are wide. Someone is coming.
Alex pops around the corner a few seconds later, and sees you mending the teacups on the shelf. “Oh, yay, it’s you. You all good? I thought I heard something about to break.”
“Nah, just the cups,” you say, waving your wand again to repair another.
“Cool. I think the rest of us were gonna head back now, you coming?”
“Uh, I’d like to stay here a little longer. I think this place is dope.”
Alex looks skeptical. “Alright, just don’t get lost. Hey, where’s Malfoy? I can’t find that bitch either.”
You shrug. Alex raises her eyebrows. You sigh and lower your wand from the shelf. “Jesus fuck, there’s nothing going on between us, okay? I don’t know where he is, he probably left already.”
“Alrighttttt,” Alex sings. “Uh-huh. Sure. I definitely believe you. One hundred percent.” She turns on her heel and walks off.
After her footsteps fade, Draco reappears from around another corner, a stupid grin on his face. “Honestly, I’m hurt you consider that nothing.”
“Oh, fuck off.” You guide a repaired teacup back to its place on the shelf.
“I can show you some more, if you’d like?” His arms wrap around your torso and he places a kiss on the side of your neck, making you giggle.
“Okay, okay! But not here. We’re liable to break something for real.”
His eyes glint mischievously. “I know just the place.”
The tapestry has barely fallen into place behind you before you’re being pushed up against the wall in the tiny alcove behind it, Draco’s lips meeting yours with passion. “Draco… what exactly… are we… doing,” you ask again, between kisses. You part, breathless, dim light from the torches in the corridor filtering through the tapestry, illuminating Draco’s face just enough to see the flush on his cheeks.
“I dunno,” he says, lips descending onto your neck. “Can we not talk… about it... right this moment.”
“Ugh, fine.” Your hands thread into his fine hair again. “But we have to talk about it tomorrow.”
Draco’s face reappears in front of yours again. “God, you’re so difficult sometimes. I love it.”
He lifts you up the wall so your faces are more in line, putting one of his legs between yours to stabilize you. Your toes barely brush the ground, and for the first time you’re truly aware of how much taller he is than you. One of his hands slips under your sweater, and you sigh in delight as his fingertips skate across the skin of your hip. “Mmm, someone’s eager.” He gently nips at your lower lip.
“‘S been a while,” you mumble.
Draco’s mouth cracks into a smile, ending your kiss. You pout and he laughs. “I know I’m good but, seriously, how long’s it been.”
You hope he can see your eyes roll in the dim light. “I thought we weren’t gonna talk about anything right now.”
“Yeah, but now I’m curious.” Now his fingers are gliding along the small of your back, and you arch away at the feathery touch, which just amuses him more.
“Like… maybe a year and a half.”
“A year?” Draco’s mouth drops open, and you hate the look of arrogance that’s taking over his face at being the first to kiss you in such a long time. “There is absolutely no way.”
“I’ll leave, you know.” You threaten, taking your arms off his shoulders and crossing them.
Draco suddenly grabs onto your upper arms. “Please don’t.”
“So then stop running your mouth and kiss me, you idiot.” You uncross your arms and grab at Draco’s collar.
“Luckily for you, I’m excellent at both of those things.”
It had been… a long time. You’d spent the better part of an hour in the corridor on the third floor, and now you were making your way back to the Ilvermorny dorms much later than you’d have liked. You tried to tell Draco Alex would only get more suspicious, but he was… very persuasive.
“Greylock,” you said to tapestry-Isolt. She stepped to the side to let you through. The party had dwindled to most of the Ilvermorny students, the trio, Ginny, and Emi, who were seated by the fire playing a card game.
“What’s up?” You asked, plopping down into a chair. All you received were stares in return. “Uh, hello?”
“You were gone for a while.” Alex says, leaning back against the hearth Ginny’s legs settled in her lap.
“Yeah, I did end up getting a little lost. That room was huge.” Everyone continues to stare.
“Got you hat back, then?” Alex gestures to your head.
FUCK. “Uh, yeah. I saw Malfoy when I was leaving, asked for it back. I guess he was just wandering around, too.”
“Uh-huh.” Alex can’t keep the smirk off her face.
“I literally just happened to see him and all I did was ask for my fucking hat back, okay? Hop off my dick.”
“What’s on your neck?” Alex points, and you feel the blood drain from your face.
You don’t say anything to that. Alex throws her hand of cards to the side, deflty sliding out from under Ginny and onto your chair. “Ah! Alex, get the fuck off me!’ You cry, desperately holding up the collar of your sweater as Alex tries to pull it down.
But Alex wins in the end. She yanks down the left side of your collar, revealing the forming bruises across your collarbone. “HOLY SHIT YOU LET MALFOY GIVE YOU A HICKEY.”
“NO I DID NOT.”
“I’M LOOKING RIGHT AT THEM, BITCH!”
Your cheeks are flaming, and you let out a muffled scream into your hands. Emi is losing it with laughter.
“You let that git’s lips touch your face? More than your face?” Harry stuttered. Ron made a gagging noise.
“Y/n, I cannot believe you did that!” Hermione wailed.
“OKAY, everyone chill out.” You put your hands out. “It doesn’t mean anything.”
“How do you know?” Alex cries.
“Because I explicitly asked and he said, ‘let’s not talk about it right this moment,’ quote.” You punctuate your sentences by punching your fist into your palm.
“Uh-huh, cos he was too damn busy sucking on your neck like a fucking leech.” Alex poked at your collarbone and you swatted her hand away.
“Oh my gooood, that’s such a Draco thing to say to someone he’s totally into.” Emi drawled.
Your blush flares back up. “What? He’s not ‘totally into me’.”
“Uh, absolutely yes,” Emi shoots back. “Tomorrow you’ll see.”
As it turns out, tomorrow’s ‘we’ll talk about it later’ begins in a similar place as last night. Draco’s hands are gripping at the back of your uniform shirt as you tug on his tie, his lips already attached to the sensitive piece of skin behind your ear. You can’t stop the moans rolling out of your mouth.
“I like how much you like this,” his voice rasps against your skin.
“Yeah, and I’d love to give you some payback for last night but we have something to discuss.”
“Can’t we just do this a little longer?” He nearly whines against your lips.
You grab the front of his shirt and spin him around, so he’s the one with his back to the wall. His eyes open in surprise at your aggression. “Do you like me or not?” You get straight to the point.
The edge of his mouth quirks up. “I definitely like it when you do that.”
This gets him a quick slap on his cheek. “I’m dead ass serious, Draco. I’m not the kind of girl who just goes around kissing whoever, alright?”
“Yeah, I sort of figured that when you said you hadn’t been kissed in a year and a half.”
You let go of his shirt and turn to leave. Maybe he really was just using you since all he still wanted was to tease you.
Draco’s hand closes around your wrist. “Wait, Y/n, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make fun of you.”
You turn to face him again. “But that’s all we ever do, Draco! Everything I know about you is stuff I tease you about. There’s no point in this, I’m bad at not catching feelings. I know myself.”
“Me either! Listen, I know you know me well enough to at least know I’m not actually stupid. I wouldn’t have kissed you for no reason.”
“Oh, you totally would have.”
“Okay, fine, I’m an arse but I’m still a gentleman. There’s a line I don’t cross. To answer your question, yes, I do fancy you. I like being around you. I look forward to potions everyday. I might not know much about you but I do notice things about you that I think are utterly adorable.”
Your cheeks heat up at his compliment, and you throw yourself against his chest in a hug.
Draco rests his hand on your hair. “I tease you because you’re the only one who can keep up. I love your wit, I think it’s one of the most attractive things about you. If you want to try… being together, we can do that. Just maybe not tell anyone because that’d be a bloody mess.” He adds quickly.
“I like those things about you, too.” You say, turning your head so he can hear you clearly. “You’re smart, and I happen to think you’re pretty cute also.”
“Just cute?”
“Nah, your jawline is pretty hot. And your accent.”
“I knew there was no way you actually hated my accent.”
You pull away and playfully slap his chest. “Okay, boyfriend,” you smirk. “Can we get to kissing, because I go back home tomorrow and I need my fix before Christmas.”
“Ugh!” Draco groans, throwing his head back. “I forgot about that.”
“Yah-huh.” You give an exaggerated nod.
“I think kissing just might make waiting worse,” he says playfully. “Let’s find out.”
Several minutes later you return to the Great Hall to catch the end of the lunch hour. Everyone’s expectant eyes are on you as you take your seat and casually start eating.
“Well?” Alex pries.
“Huh? Oh, we talked.”
“Okay? And?” Ron urges.
You shrug noncommittally. “We both agreed it was probably a bad idea. A one time thing.”
The trio sighs in relief, while Alex crosses her arms and huffs. “Ugh! You’re so boring.”
You just put another bite of food in your mouth and give her a mock-sad face. “Sorry to disappoint.”
Across the Hall, Draco enters and heads to they Slytherin table. He shoots a quick wink your way before sitting down with his own friends, careful to not look over at you again for the rest of the meal.

Do all the drinks you don't like! >:) Mwuaha
Oh my God. I can not have any form of carbonation due to a surgery I had, and tbh I never liked soda even before so y’all about to get a whole lot...blame Xan! I also just cannot stand Kool-Aid or Yoohoo sooooo those are getting added.
Root Beer- Who’s your favorite author?
- I’m a big fan of Adam Silvera and Maggie Thrash. They are phenomenal writers and I was lucky enough to meet them at a conference last year and get to talk to them a bit about helping LGBT youth.
Coca-Cola- What’s your full name?
- Nope. Megan is all you’re getting. I hate my middle name with a burning and fiery passion. It is the absolute worst. Can I just give you some nicknames? @loser-hobbs calls me Sugarplum and @ayyyymichele calls me Megatron, and they are my favorite nicknames ever.
Pepsi- What’s your favorite song?
- Sway by Blue October is currently my favorite. Kip got me hooked on it as a Reddie song, and honestly I just want my life to make me happy and feel like this song does.
Cream Soda- What is your relationship with your parents like?
- I am super close with my mom, she pretty much raised my sister and I on her own and I tell her *almost* everything. The past year and a half of my life has been a complete hell and I wouldn’t have made it through if it weren’t for my mom. My dad and I’s relationship is...interesting. We are closer now then we used to be, again it factors into how rough my life has been, and going to Orioles games with him is actually one of my favorite things to do now.
Orange Soda- Dream date?
- Something different and/or adventurous. Something like zip lining, museum hopping, or like a murder mystery game are so much more exciting than just dinner and a movie. Cut the whole small talk and go right into real conversations as well.
Grape Soda- Favorite animal?
- Mmmm bears, I guess. I love all animals, but my nickname from birth has been Miss Meggie Bear. My dad took one look at me when I was bor and called me Miss Bear, not sure if thats a compliment.
Sprite- Any pets?
- I have my furry baby Pippa Louise who is really more of an alien than a dog, but she is my world. Y’all don’t even understand! I want to be a better person so I can be a better mom for her.
Cherry Fanta- Height?
- 5′9″
Cherry Coke- Eye color?
- Blue
Cherry Pepsi- Hair color?
- It’s currently a dark burgundy/purple but that needs to change as soon as possible. It’s naturally blonde.
Peach Soda- Favorite color to wear?
- Any combination of blacks and pastels.
Sierra Mist- Hogwarts House/Faction?
- I am a Ravenclaw through and through, and the last time I took a faction quiz I was divergent.
Mountain Dew- Patronus?
- When I took the official Pottermore I got a...Polecat. It’s somehow related to a weasel I believe, and I have no idea what it symbolizes or means.
7-Up- Favorite quote?
- “Stay Gold” from The Outsiders. But I’ve also really been feeling the lyrics “And If I fly or if I fall, Least I can say I gave it all, And If I fly or if I fall, I'm on my way, I'm on my way” from RuPaul’s Sissy That Walk recently too.
Dr. Pepper- What’s your favorite school subject/topic to learn about?
- I liked all subjects, to be honest I just really like being a student. Which is great since I’m about to go back to get a different degree. I think that science is probably my favorite, again this is good because I am going to be a nurse.
Kool-Aid- What is something that makes you smile?
- When people talk about things that are super important to them. So whether that be a certain someone telling me all about Danny Sexbang and the other Game Grumps or getting previews or projects that people are working on, it makes me smile. I just like supporting people, okay?!?!?!
Yoo-Hoo- Do you think that there is a God
- I believe there is a higher being, but I’m just questioning exactly what I believe in. I’m uncomfortable with labels right now.
OOF. This took forever, but I am finally done!

a short hogwarts AU as prompted by @acuriosityinajunkyard. (she also requested brotzly & farana, which works great for me. also, in order to be able to include amanda, her & todd’s age difference has to be smaller than it is canonically. I’d say everyone else are last years & amanda is like a 3rd year.)
hope this is okay!
~
The audience roared as the young players swooped through the sky on their brooms. Quidditch game days were one of the most exciting on school grounds. Days before the games were filled with excitement, school spirit and house pride. The days of the games were about triple on all of those.
Most of the school was watching the teams compete once again and the air was filled with loud cheers. Loudest of them all being the ones coming from one Tina Tevetino. “YES FARAH! GO GET ‘EM GIRL! YOU’RE SO GETTING LAID TONIGHT!” She screamed as her girlfriend, Farah, scored again for Gryffindor.
Todd laughed awkwardly at Tina’s overenthusiastic and slightly inappropriate cheers. He was used to Tina’s lack of filter in every and all situations, having been friends with her since their fifth year at Hogwarts. However, not all the audience members seated near them were and kept glancing at Tina, who was not discouraged even a little bit by the looks. “She’s gonna kill you, you know!” Todd raised his voice over the noisy crowd. Todd knew Farah would scold Tina if she heard some of the cheers she’d come up with. “No she ain’t, she loves me! YES FARAH! THAT’S MY GIRLFRIEND!” Tina screamed back and quickly got distracted by Farah flying past their section of the audience. Todd laughed.
He had never been big on PDA or announcing his feelings for, well, anyone, and Farah was similar to him in that sense. Of course, having fallen in love with Tina, who had no problem letting people know how she felt and what she thought, had changed things a bit. Todd could tell by the blush on Farah’s face when Tina declared her love and other, ahem, intimate feelings towards her, that her feelings about the gestures weren’t all negative. Todd sympathized with Farah. Being in love changed people…
Todd looked around the audience, suddenly remembering that his sister was supposed to be there already. “Tina! Do you have any idea where Amanda is?” Todd asked, getting a bit worried about his little sister.
“Oh, yeah, I saw her at the common room. She told me to tell Farah sorry she couldn’t make it. She’s got plans with the Rowdies.” Tina replied without taking her eyes off the game.
Todd’s mouth flew open. “Rowdies? You mean the butch 6th and 7th year Gryffindors?” He asked.
“Yeah!” Tina replied.
“Why the hell is Amanda hanging out with them! She’s a 3rd year!” Todd squeaked.
Tina laughed. “Yeah. A 3rd year that could kick the Rowdies’ and your ass any time of the day. With a wand or her fists. You heard about her giving Friedkin a bloody nose, didn’t you?” Tina said.
Todd sighed, less than thrilled about that particular occurrence. “Yeah. Sure did.” He said.
“So, don’t get your panties in a twist. She’s one tough chick.” Tina said, finally turning to look at Todd.
Todd rolled his eyes. “You Gryffindors… There’s a fine line between brave and stupid, you know?” Todd remarked.
Tina punched him in the arm. “You shut your Slytherin mouth!” She laughed. Todd laughed too.
For some, their friend group was strange. Three Gryffindors, A Slytherin and a Hufflepuff. A lot of people made their closest friends within their houses, so their little group was special. But weirdest of all was Todd’s presence in the group.
In his first years at Hogwarts Todd had been… Well, he had been an asshole. He’d made friends with a few boys from his house, whose favorite past time was picking on others and making trouble wherever they went. Todd still felt his heart get heavier when he thought about his first four years at Hogwarts and how he had acted. Back then, he wouldn’t have even interacted with kids from other houses. Then, on his 5th year, Amanda came to Hogwarts. She was sorted into Gryffindor, quite rightfully so, and was absolutely disgusted with how her brother and his ‘friends’ were acting. She refused to talk to him for weeks. That was when Todd realized he had to change his ways.
He cut the so called friends out of his life and basically begged for Amanda to forgive him. He apologized to anyone he’d offended before and tried to be nice to everyone he came across. Amanda eventually stopped her silent treatment, but she still didn’t let him off the hook easily. He still had to work on being a better person, all his motivation coming from his little sister.
That is, until he went and fell in love with the eccentric Hufflepuff.
In his 6th year, he’d ended up in a class with Dirk Gently, who he’d only ever previously known as the weird Hufflepuff boy. True to his word, Todd tried to be nice when he interacted with Dirk, which seemed to encourage him to talk to Todd every chance he got. Which was often. Sometime during that semester, Todd found himself not repressing eye rolls around Dirk anymore, but repressing smiles and blushes. Neither of them went home on Christmas break that year (Todd was behind on school work and Dirk didn’t have a great family life) and they really mostly spent time together. They’d been together ever since.
Everyone that had known Todd before his 5th year would stare at them holding hands in the hallways and making eyes at each other. Todd Brotzman with a Hufflepuff? Todd Brotzman with Dirk Gently of all people? But for the first time in years, Todd felt content. He had Dirk, and he had his sister back.
Amanda loved Dirk. Todd was pretty sure a big part of her letting Todd back into her life properly was because of Dirk and his influence on Todd. Amanda introduced Todd (and Dirk by extension) to Farah and Tina since they were in the same house and so their little group was formed. Amanda, being 13 now, wanted some space for herself, so she had her own friends as well, but she still made sure to see her brother every once in a while. Todd understood. She no longer avoided him, this was just a normal preteen independence thing.
Todd had gone from a bully, who really didn’t enjoy anything in his life, to a guy who’d do anything for his sister, his boyfriend and his friends. Thanks to Dirk, Todd had gotten better with school and had started planning his future. Todd smiled as he reminisced on the people he cared about most and how they’d changed his life.
As if she could read his mind, Tina spoke up. “Where’s your badger?” She asked. Todd rolled his eyes. Dirk being the only Hufflepuff in their friend group, Tina loved to make jokes. One of her classics being calling Dirk ‘badger’ and especially ‘Todd’s badger’, since she’d really gotten to know Dirk through Todd. Todd had told her to lay off the jokes, but since Dirk himself didn’t mind, they didn’t seem to be stopping.
“He said he’d be here.” Todd replied, looking around the rows of seats filled with excited people. Then, as if on cue, he spotted a familiar grin and blue eyes.
“Todd!” Dirk’s excited voice carried through over the cheers.
“Hey Dirk!” Todd replied as Dirk made his way to them.
“Sup badger?” Tina said.
“I’m wonderful, thank you for asking!” Dirk replied and sat down next to Todd, leaning in to place a quick kiss on Todd’s lips.
Todd smiled against Dirk’s lips. “I missed you.” He said, quietly enough that only Dirk could hear him.
Dirk grinned. “I missed you too.” He said not at all as quietly as Todd and leaned in for another kiss.
“Y’all are sickeningly sweet.” Tina said and turned towards the game again.
Todd blushed but Dirk seemed unfazed.
“How’s the game?” Dirk asked.
“We’re winning!” Tina squealed.
“I’m happy for you!” Dirk replied. Gryffindor were playing against Ravenclaw, so it was easy for everyone to support Farah and Tina’s house. Though, Dirk would of course be happy for his friends even if they were playing against his house.
After the game, Todd, Dirk, Tina, Farah and Amanda who had joined them to celebrate Gryffindor’s victory, sat around the courtyard. The air was chilly, but surprisingly warm at this point of the fall. They all sat down on the grass and talked in loud, excited voices.
“And when you did that- that thing with the thing!” Tina, with her arm around her girlfriend, excitedly explained her favorite moments of the game to Farah, who blushed at all the compliments.
“You really were magnificent!” Dirk chimed in from his position on the ground, sitting between Todd’s legs and leaning against his chest. Todd started to lose feeling in his arms which were holding both him and Dirk up, but he would rather not feel any of his limbs than have to tell Dirk to move.
“Isn’t my girlfriend the coolest!” Tina exclaimed and Farah closed her eyes. “Tina…” She whined and then changed the subject. “Where were you for the first half of the game, Dirk?”
“Oh, turns out my hunch was right: I figured out who stole the ingredients from the potions class so I went to talk to the headmaster.” Dirk explained. “He was very grateful.”
Todd looked down at his boyfriend. “You figured it out?” He asked.
“Yes. It made quite a lot of sense once I had all the information.” Dirk replied, looking up at Todd.
Todd smiled. “I’m so proud of you.” He said.
Dirk blushed. “Thank you, Todd.”
Amanda groaned. “One day I’m gonna have a boyfriend or a girlfriend and I won’t have to be the goddamn fifth wheel with you people anymore.”

I went through your Vol 10 reaction and could you do any (doing all would be asking too much) of the following, Metal Bat, Darkness Blade, Stinger, Red Muffler, maybe King and Fubuki or Zenko, please? (psst especially Metal Bat *flutters lashes*)
One Mbat comin’ right up!Metal Batgeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would bang| he’s cute but he’s seventeen y’allhogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: I adore what a big softie he is around Zenko and Tama.worst quality: Chill, boy.ship them with: Garoubrotp them with: Hmm, this is something I honestly never thought of? I mean dude doesn’t seem to do much outside of hero work and taking care of Zenko, so I never really stopped to think of if he has friends or not. He doesn’t really seem like the type to try and rub shoulders with any of his fellow heroes if he can help it. I’ll have to give this a little more consideration.needs to stay away from: Amai Mask. Actually, everyone needs to stay away from Amai Mask. But especially Bat, unless he’s going to beat his head in.misc. thoughts: Metal Bat is honestly so good? I am the hugest sucker for yankii characters who look all big and bad but are really sweet and caring on the inside, even though they can beat the shit out of you if they need to. Plus, he has a cat. A cat! And he loves the shit out of that cat! And loves the shit out of his baby sister! Unapologetically! He doesn’t even try to hide that he really cares about the things closest to him! He’s gonna grow up just fine, I think.Bonus Stingergeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: Everything.worst quality: Nothing.ship them with: Lightning Max! And occasionally I throw him and Max into a big polyamorous cuddle pile with Mumen.brotp them with: Lightning Genji, first and foremost. But then also Bushidrill and Okamaitachi, Red Muffler, Death Gatling, Darkness Blade…honestly, I can see him being really good friends with all the guys who aren’t total jerks in the Hero Association, and even some of the ones who are. He’s a friendly sort of guy.needs to stay away from: Things that hurt him. Please stop getting hurt Mr. Stinger.misc. thoughts: I just love this guy a whole lot, okay? Stinger is a very pure character despite the fact that he runs around wrapped in bandages and nothing else all day (I miss that little belt and vest combo thing Murata gave him for a little while, that was the cutest). He’s really skilled and really popular and he knows this, but he’s very obviously not in the Hero Association solely for the fame. He enjoys the accolades, yes, but he still readily does the work involved with being a hero even when it’s unlikely to earn him any recognition. I feel like his cockiness is pretty deserved, and the way he genuinely cares about helping people more than makes up for that. Stinger is a Good™, y’all.

Thank you @dickie-gayson for tagging me :)
Rules: Answer the questions and tag 20 blogs you want to get to know better
Nicknames: Lockey, Katie, Kate, Kat, or any variation of Katherine.
Star sign: Capricorn
Height: Either 5′3" or 5′4″ - I’m not exactly sure.
Time right now: 5:05 PM
Last thing you googled: How to get a rook piercing out, my sister’s has got infected and it needs to come out.
Fave music artist: I ... can’t. I’ll explode if I choose. There’s so many and I’m way too lazy to list them all.
Song stuck in my head: FUUUKKKEEEEN LIMBO BY DADDY MOTHERFUCKING YANKEE.... every since SOMEBODY (*glares* you know who you are)  introduced it to me.
Last movie I watched: Finding Dory
Last tv show I watched: Lucifer, I think? Pretty sure that was on the other night. The last show that I watched FULLY was Free!
What I’m wearing right now: Batman onesie, because I’m a mature adult who likes to dress up as batman and scare my family members by hiding behind things in the dark.
When I created this blog: This blog is really quite new, about a year or so? I’ve been on tumblr for a while. I deleted my first blog because it was a fowl reminder of my teenage years, I had a spiritual blog for a while, and then decided that I’m a complete nerd and just wanted to just reblog nerdy stuff.
The kind of stuff I post: I mostly reblog shit from whatever fandom I’m part of at the time. Batfamily is the most frequent, Supernatural is also a big one, various animes. I sometimes post my fanart, but that’s once in a blue moon. Because college.
Do I get asks regularly? I’ve never received an ask, I’d quite like to but I’d probably just scream tbh. I’m not great at communicating, but I am more than happy to if y’all every get bored.
Why did I choose my url: Well, Locke is my last name. Our whole family gets called Lockey - it seemed like a good idea at the time. It’s pretty boring.
Gender: Cis Female
Hogwarts House: I’d probably be Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, I don’t really know. It changes depending on what mood I’m in. (I’m going to Harry Potter world next month and I am SO EXITED)
Pokémon team: I joined the red one, I think? Valor? I haven’t played Pokemon Go for ages. Can’t I just be part of Team Rocket? For nostalgia. Or team galactic? For the hairstyles.
Favorite color: Probably blue or purple
Average hours of sleep: Probably 5, very disturbed hours of sleep a night is normal for me. I’m a really light sleeper as well, so I tend to get more sleep if I’m in the house by myself.
Lucky number: 14, I don’t know why but I’ve had an infinity with that number since I way small.
Favorite characters: THE WHOLE OF THE BATFAMILY! Seriously, just point me in the direction of anyone with daddy issues and they’re my favourite.
Dream job: Um, an illustrator but I have 0% confidence in my drawing abilities, and college is making it really hard for me to find time to practice. I’m training as a graphics designer, so I’ll probably end up doing that instead. To be honest I would be okay with doing most things, as long as I’m capable at it.
Number of blankets I sleep with: The more the better, same with pillows. I like to bury myself in them.
Following: 347
How the shit am I going to tag 20 people?
Here, it goes: @super-batgirl, @graysonshine, @all-my-fandom-babies, @ibats, @plagued-by-batman, @inbatfamhell, @mellenabrave, @tardis--dreams, @midnightsilver, @emanationman, @bemyrobintimmy, @blueflamebird, @drissen, @katiekatxoxo123, @batdad, @nekonoheya, @dem-gabriel-tho, @those-denim-wrapped-nightmares, @high-functioning-time-idjits, @mojojojopicksthemusic
You guys really don’t have to do this if you don’t want to!

Your Harry Potter au is wonderful and I love it to pieces :D Do you have any ideas for Wendy?
@raioseucliffe-cheney replied to your post “Yet another HP FT AU”
sounds interesting. what about sting and Rogue?
OK so I hope y’all are ready for this. I maaaaaay have expanded on a few others lmao but I just get obsessed with things lmao
Wendy:
she is a Hufflepuff with Natsu. He acts like her big brother bcus her mom was part of the team with Igneel, and he grew up with her as kids. She’s two years below them
side note: overall ages are that Laxus is four years Natsu’s senior, Erza, Cana, and Mira are a year above Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Levy, and Gajeel all are in the same year as Natsu, Sting and Rouge are a year below, and Wendy and Chelia are two years below.
Her favourite classes are Potions and Transfiguration, her least favourite is Defence Against the Dark Arts
Wendy excels in potions and takes after her aunt and the Potions prof, Porlyuscia, who is her mother’s twin.
If anything bad happens to Wendy, read; making her cry, the student ‘somehow’ finds their potion going wrong.
No one can prove it, so Makarov can’t do anything about it
Why would anyone pick on Wendy anyway like??? how heartless can you be?
Best friends with Chelia and may or may not have a crush on her Slytherin best friend.
She 100% has a crush on her Slytherin best friend.
Gets adopted into Natsu’s friend group bcus of how advanced she is due to Porly’s homeschooling and natural talent.
Has 0 prejudice about the houses bcus Grandeeny was a Gryffindor, Porlyuscia is a Slytherin, and she views Lucy as a big sister.
tbh she doesn’t really get the house separations, but she will get decked out in 100% yellow and black for quidditch. Both she and Chelia eventually try out for their respective teams and both get the Seeker position. They become known as ‘The sky sisters’ bcus of how far above the court they chase the damn thing when playing against one another. They are unstoppable on their brooms like
damn
Her pet is a white fluffy cat that Natsu enchants to shapeshift like Happy. Bcus he’s had a few years to practice magic he is better and Charla is able to shift into a human for brief periods of time.
The Hufflepuff headboy/girl is on the verge of a nervous breakdown goddamit Natsu stop inventing spells?? It’s not okay we don’t need a girl with CAT EARS sitting in the common AREA WHERE ANYONE CAN SEE HER. WHAT IF THE MAGIC COUNCIL FINDS OUT? Also the elves are complaining that Happy is stealing fish again I stg if I heard a bang come from your dorm jsut now I wi ll
idk who has that hell job yet but pity them.
Pity. Them.
Wendy does
Gajeel (bcus why not):
transferred from Drumstang with Juvia, grew up like a cousin to Natsu but went to his father’s country’s school after Metalicana went missing. He was an outcast bcus Metalicana had gone to Hogwarts, so Gajeel had to act extra tough to make up for it.
He’s put into Gryff and just shrugs and moves along. Everyone else is beyond surprised that this tall, muscular, pierced boy was sorted into the ‘good’ house.
He takes another year or two to settle into his house, but he’s kind to the elves and animals, even if he might sneer at anyone who tries to sit with him for the first few months
Levy does not care, determined to overcome her nasty experience with a group of Drumstang wizards and witches from her past.
He gets attached to this little Ravenclaw who will talk his ear off or sit quietly with him for seven hours straight researching data for a one line reference.
She is the only reason he doesn’t fail his first year there.
Lucy coughs loudly in the background, as she also helped him with his studies, but wey
Gajeel’s favourite class is also Magical Beasts but the animals either love or fear him. Never respect lmao.
He’s best at Defence Against the Dak Arts like Natsu, but his least favourite is Astronomy. He just doesn’t care about fate, or whatever. It can go fuck itself. He especially hates Proff Aquarius.
Ten points from Gryffindor for language, Mr. Redfox
And now it’s twenty. Care to add anything else?
WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU LITTLE P U N K
His pet is a cat that he himself enchanted to shapeshift. Lily can hold his humanish form for hours.
Gajeel is Proud
Likes hiding in his room but somehow Natsu always finds him and drags him along into some absurd prank war? He’d never admit it but he likes being surrounded by all the chatter and he has a soft spot for Lucy, who he dubs ‘Bunny girl’ due to a misfired hex from Natsu that gave Lucy bunny ears and a tail for a week.
She is also his confidant when it comes to a certain blue haired Ravenclaw. If he ever thought Lucy was too sweet and innocent for Natsu, that idea was thrown right out the window when she offered to hunt down the room of requirement, hex it open, and shove Levy and Gajeel in it alone together.
He may also be slightly terrified of Lucy, more than Erza even
Rouge and Sting:
Look up to Gajeel and Natsu respectively
Both went to Beauxbaunt but transferred for their third year (the year after Gajeel and Juvia) to Hogwarts. Were placed in the Ravenclaw for Rouge and Gryffindor for Sting.
Both boys were upset to be in different houses than their Heros, but at least their year the two houses were in classes together.
Follow Natsu’s influence and become the school mischief makers. Bcus they’re found with one another so often and can understand what the other is thinking people call them twins, and because of how opposite they look the term stuck ironically
Both have cats and tried to do Natsu’s enchantment, but were only able to produce wings and the ability to talk.
Frosh wanted to be a frog very badly though, and so Rouge made them a frog suit and has been working extremely hard in Transfiguration to find a spell that can grant their wish.
Sting’s best subject is DADA and worst is Muggle history.
He has a bit of an elitist streak and thinks bcus of his pureblood lines that he’s more adept at magic naturally. Is unaware of his own prejudice until Lucy all but screams at him and accidentally reveals that Gajeel’s mother was a muggle.
His adopted father (head of Sabertooth) is very racist and will use ‘mudblood’ as a slur constantly. He runs away with Rouge and stays at Hogwarts permanently at age 14.
Rouge’s best subjects are Transfigurations and worst is the Singing class he has to take for an art elective.
The boy sounds like a dying whale
But he can’t join the frog choir or Frosh will cry bcus they are not a frog
Rouge would rather fail a class than make Frosh cry
Struggles with self-esteem issues and will trail in Sting’s shadow.
Doesn’t know his mother and was adopted alongside Sting after the accident with their dragon expert fathers, but he does know he isn’t pureblood. He overheard his adopted father speaking about how much of a disgrace Rouge was and the ‘contamintion’ inside him.
Never told Sting for fear of being abandoned (even tho Sting would never and it would have fixed his views on bloodlines long before Hogwarts)
It was his idea to run away after seeing how accepting and loving Hogwarts is their first year there.
They share their first kiss in fourth year a The Three Broomsticks during Christmas
Sting says it was very gay and he loved it
