little mha ocs info

I'm bored so here's a bit about some ocs of mine, mostly focusing on Akumu Bousou and Yatsude Bousou (don't think I ever mentioned Yatsude but he's Akumu's twin) but I'll also talk about Kokoro Maboroshi, an oc I haven't mentioned before

Akumu Bousou:

Kokoro is cisgender male he/him she/her he's aroace he's class 1-B he's 16 his favorite drink is honey milk his favorite food is strawberry yogurt he prefers salty snacks he enjoys folk-pop and piano rock I haven't really decided on many outfits or aesthetics for him except for his main outfit which is a turtle neck with a sweater over it and gloves and also angelcore. the main reason he wears such warm clothes is because of his quirk quirk: his quirk is Ghostly Presence, he can do ghost things like become intangible, vanish, go through walls, etc but the drawback is that he becomes really cold and if he stays ghost like for too long his senses get all messed up rest of this is to be continued when I finish him no playlist right now! Shae Weekend 2022 Day 4: Happy Birthday Shae! 🌱

Seeing as I didn't finish the fic I was going to post today, I instead decided to share my Shae playlist! (My shae-list)

I love you Shae! Happy birthday!

I'll paste a tracklist and a bit of what I was thinking when I added each song under the cut :)

Track 1: Country Life - The Watersons

It's just the strongest Shae vibes, both the lyrics and the folk-y sound

Track 2: Candy - Paolo Nutini

This one is less about the lyrics and more about the vibe of the music

Track 3: The Bones - Marren Morris ft. Hozier

The core of an MC x Shae relationship is pure, strong love. They don't need anything more than your love, and other problems that you might face together are small potatoes, because you are strong and united and can face anything together. You can rely on each other.

Track 4: Bloom - The Paper Kites

The vibe of the music is incredibly soft and sweet. Some of the lyrics are about the singer's confusion on how to articulate their love. Additionally, there's plenty of nature metaphors - cottagecore Shae :)

I feel like this reflects Shae being confused or unsure about how to show their feelings. They don't have much relationship experience, and they're a bit confused about what to do with their feelings

Track 8: Toothpaste Kisses - The Maccabees

Again, the vibe of the music is so strong. Additionally, I think that MC and Shae are the type to get very domestic really quickly, so brushing their teeth and then sharing 'toothpaste kisses' feels very appropriate

Track 9: Heartbeats - Jose Gonzalez

This is all vibes babey

Track 10: Featherstone - The Paper Kites

The Paper Kites are very Shae / Cottagecore vibes. This one I'm going with it is just musical vibes, because this song is about being in love with someone who doesn't love you back and I simply refuse to admit of that being a possibility for the lovely Shae.

Track 11: Put Your Records On - Corinne Bailey Rae

Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely Sipping tea in a bar by the road side (Just relax, just relax) Don't you let those other boys fool you Gotta love that Afro hairdo

Again, this song has a lovely and soft feeling, which sounds like how I imagine being loved by Shae feels. It captures the vibe of a strong but low-key love, punctuated by daily gestures of love (making two cups of tea instead of one, saving your carrots for your partner because you know they love them, staying up to make your SO's lunch for them) rather than needing dramatic big gestures

Track 12: I Don't Know - Lisa Hannigan

i mean i think people just have different interpretations and personal associations with different songs lol that’s all

im so sorry to be mean anon but sometimes.. interpretations can be wrong. like i understand the concept of different interpretations and personal associations with songs you do not have to try and introduce that concept to me. but also sometimes it is annoying to see certain songs get misinterpreted and overused in situations where it doesnt fit. im allowed to be annoyed that songs with very specific and clear meanings are sanitized into nothing but songs that are just on any ol fandom playlist

i know the example i used of hayloft may seem a bit harsh but im also thinking of things like mitskis music, where white people have sanitized her music into just being about general white depressed queer experiences. im thinking about artists like hozier that were mentally put into fae cottagecore boxes. even past songs, there are so so many times where people just do not know how to engage with art. a lot of songs and art Are personal already, to the artist.

not to discourage interpretations of art, or saying people cant have ~personal associations~ or whatever, i just think it is insane that even such a specific song like hayloft got applied to any old character that a lot of depressed daddy issue riddled people relate to or whatever. im saying this As a depressed person with daddy issues. i can promise that there are so many songs that arent hayloft

my point wasnt that people cant? relate to certain songs or have different interpretations because art is subjective and shit but like. sometimes.. youre just wrong. sometimes you gotta branch out. nothing wrong with going hmmmmm maybe this song doesnt fit every character ever. let me bitch in peace lol it is not a personal attack to say maybe some 16yr old with lying problems stuck in a killing game where his personality is potentially manufactured in an attempt to appease to sickos who want to see teenagers kill each other on live television is maybe not who hayloft (again, a song about teenagers/young adults having sex with the girls sexist and oppressive father hunting them out so he can kill her boyfriend) was made for. at that point i think youre just bad at analysis

if you’re in gryffindor you think you’re more “refined” than everyone else, and if you’re in ravenclaw you think everyone’s a stiff

this is the person with the braincell! let it be known that they have it, but refuse to use it

they have to be a little chaotic because they know what consequences are but disregard them

these people call themselves ambiverts but it really just means they won’t talk to you if they hate you

and i say that lovingly

okay, but if they do talk to you??? best people to talk with - they can hold an interesting conversation masterfully and it’s all because their enthusiasm is off the charts

let them ramble, it’s very endearing.

and physical touch is probably their love language so cuddle with them, too

they’re sci-fi and superhero nerds change my mind

now their loyalty is really interesting because gryffindors are really loyal where as a ravenclaws are individualistic and prioritize #1, so i feel like they are very much on guard

kind of reminds me of 50′s moms who seem perfect on the outside but have existential crises while making a roast in heels

they don’t necessarily want to be “known” - they probably feel like that definition is changing all of the time, so it would scare them to put themself in a box

i guess they’re kind of free spirits - maybe more like the aunt who does yoga with baby goats and collects crystals and pretty shells

they are great at conflict resolution, yes, but don’t expect them to be your therapist (that’s the hufflepuff/slytherin)

they have absolutely no idea when it comes to deep feelings - they barely understand their own

probably paints, tbh, or at the very least loves to go to museums w/ really abstract art.

they actually have the braincell! they keep it a lot of the time and can be stingy with it.

they either wake up really early in the morning or stay up until the sun rises because it gives them “clarity” or something.

ravenclaw/slytherin:

they’re definitely the blunt friend who will just say things as they see them

yeah, tact is lost on them

they also love to claim that they “don’t need” people, so they butt heads with the hufflepuff/slytherin and the ravenclaw/hufflepuff a lot

they have quite a bit of stratagem up their sleeve, so people can be weary of them

their attitude does nothing to solve this, but it could also be that the slytherclaw has this idea that flattery gets them nowhere

they are so divisive in their individualism,,, good luck befriending them

but if you do befriend them, you have a powerful friend in your corner.

they are 100% that distant relative that you think hates you but you aren’t sure if that’s just the way they are

but let me tell you a secret,,,, their love language is words of affirmation and if you stroke their ego they’ll grow soft

while slytherclaws may not be very persuasive on their own, they actually work really well in teams. they know everyone’s strengths are are unafraid to take charge and tell people what needs to be done and how

they’re also really good at logical thinking, so you definitely want to be lab partners with this one

and schoolwork? they do it and they take good notes. a really great student

and their ambitions and competitiveness means they are unafraid to go far, and they will do it in style, too

this is the epitome of dark academia.

and there is very little that is chaotic when it comes to them - the slytherclaw is an excellent planner

maybe they desire more out of life - they never feel like they are quite getting what they want

they are cynical, but they they have such high hopes for this world

when they are let down, they’re not surprised but disenchanted nonetheless

they ponder the meaning of the world and what this world could be far more than they ponder their own life

they tend to see a bigger, more sweeping picture

100% they love the odyssey and definitely think it’s better than the iliad

they adore high fantasy with every fibre of their being and can really get into period dramas

i would say that a gryffindor/ravenclaw would be a good friend for them - we all know a gryffinclaw can talk, and sometimes a slytherclaw just needs to hear someone else’s take on this world

and, of course, it helps when anyone shows appreciation

okay, but they love sweets - chocolate, liquorice, peppermint, caramel... it’s one of the few childish things they allow themself to have.

they are actually relatively quick to trust? the fastest slytherin, actually

they keep their group small, but they get vibes about people and once you show them loyalty they trust you entirely.

i suppose they guess you don’t have any games because they don’t have any

ooh, but if you betray them??? they are a mess, emotionally, and will not hesitate to lash out.

but they are caring in their own way, and will do little things like reminding you to drink water or bringing you toast if you haven’t eaten and it’s very sweet

hufflepuff/slytherin:

so i know we have this idea of the slytherin sweetheart, but a slytherpuff is so much more than that

one of their strongest traits is the intersection of ambition and hard work - they will not stop until they are the best (in their mind at least)

it’s almost a petty form of competition. a bit of schadenfreude when they win.

and everyone’s immediate thought is that a hufflepuff/slytherin would be the most trusting slytherins but no.

not even close.

slytherpuffs are guarded at first, while holding a secret soft spot for you in their heart. but they won’t act on it until they are 100% sure you won’t hurt them. they are suspicious, but really want to like people.

it takes a lot to break down their walls, but when you do they already have a steady foundation for your trust to grow on, and it’s the strongest thing in this world

because of this they can often come off as cold or distant, but once you’re in their circle, oh yeah. there’s the hufflepuff qualities you were searching for.

a good contender for the mom friend position, but they aren’t overt enough to be so.

they’re not getting into your business or being slightly invasive like real mom friends, but if you need advice or a hug,,,,, this is the friend to go to.

they’re like the nice aunt. vvv comforting, but only if sought out.

oh, they have the strongest moral code i have ever seen - it cannot be shaken or swayed.

but! it can often go against the rules, so you do have a bit of chaos working beneath the surface.

i 100% believe that their love language is quality time, and most of that can be spent quietly, just sitting in the other’s presence.

i feel like 90% of their conversations is hand gestures or subtle facial expressions, so it make take a while to be able to read them, but it also means they are soooo good at reading other people

seriously, if you need a therapist in the group, this is your person. they know people so well. their intuition is off the charts.

BUT ALSO,,,, their levels of introvertedness are sky high. i feel like this is a given, but they can be in your orbit for 5 months and speak to your twice and think that is a decent amount of exposure.

please get them an extrovert. they need the exposure.

sEcReTS??? this slytherin probably has some, but you have to be like at level 50 to unlock their tragic backstory

they also have academia vibes and do really well in school work, but whether or not it’s dark academia or light academia is disputed. maybe grey academia? (is that a thing?)

they struggle with wanting to be known and yet wanting to hide parts of themself they find unattractive or unwanted

probably feel like they’re pulled in too many directions and overthink their choices just a bit too much.

everyone knows they have the braincell, but whether or not they use it is unsure

it’s so easy for their friends to coax them, they probably give it to someone else and never ask for it back even though they should be in sole custody of it

I love her a lot, but if I had to pick a least favorite thing it would probably be that she’s such a push over sometimes. It bothers me that she continually dealt with Zelda’s bs all the times she killed her and resurrected her. I wish she would’ve stood up for herself sooner.

random headcanon

She bakes for everyone. I mean everyone. If she met someone once she continually bakes for them. And Sunday specifically is her baking day. As long as there aren’t any funerals to arrange she puts on her apron and bakes nonstop all day. Sometimes it’s pies, maybe cookies or muffins. Ambrose never joins her in the actual process but he usually sits nearby, feet kicked up reading a book. Mary Wardwell joins her whenever possible, she loves baking with Hilda especially because there’s something so magical about it.

Personally I believe Hilda is bisexual. Though she doesn’t like to make a big deal out of it. That’s my interpretation of her character at least.

Had my ears pierced when I was ten-ish. Let them close over due to poor care. I have a tatt on my upper right arm of a skeleton bird that I got two years ago. If I had money spare and better self-care, I’d get at least one industrial ear piercing and be tempted by at least one helix. If I had those things plus more imagination, I’d have way more tattoos. Longing to find the right one for my right shoulderblade. Tempted forever by large back tatts, especially wing types.

emerald: if you had the option, would you choose to move and live in another country? which one?

I would not currently choose to live anywhere other than the UK. I might be convinced to live in Ireland if they had national healthcare, I think it’s a decent place and Dublin is great as cities go. I’d be tempted by the US if it was like 500% less outrageous.
