I just remembered that up until 5th grade, all of the sports teams I was in weren't separated by gender. I played basketball and baseball with boys. And we did just fine.

It wasn't until 6th grade when they segregated it by gender. It didn't make sense to me. I was now in softball because of baseball, because "softball is for girls" and "baseball is for boys" (which confused me bc my dad was on an adult softball team).

Now, my brother's all-male team didn't win a single game. My all-girls team won every single one.

They presented the boys' team with this HUGE trophy, and if you wanted replicas of it, they were $30 each.

My team was presented with a very small trophy. Extras were $5.

That's when I decided gender-segregated sports were bullshit.

#my mom went off on my brother's coach for that #said that it wasn't fair that my brother's team got to celebrate more than us despite actually winning #(it was through the same sports program)#she said she wasn't gonna pay $30 for a trophy whenever he was a horrible coach #bc the boys he had when they were on my team with my coach did just fine #their coach was this horrible egotistical guy who would scream at tbem for not doing good enough #when he didnt even KNOW HOW TO PLAY and was just there bc his kid was praying #my coach was this cool ass dad that was very calm and gentle with us #the coach was like ''oh so you don't think your son deserves to celebrate?''#my mom was like ''he should but he needs to learn that he can't be rewarded for losing while #my daughter is barely rewarded for winning and i don't want to teach him that gender inequality is okay''#(my mom is cool af sometimes)#we both quit playing after that

An interesting little fun thing with team 7 is that you assume that Sakura's gonna, like, woobify and simplify Sasuke by putting him on a pedastal,cause her goal is centered around him and shes a 12 y/o fangirl so like of course her understanding of him is skewed cause she doesnt see him as a person, just an object of affection, right? She's can't get Sasuke, can't imprint on and/or traumabond with him like Naruto and Kakashi do. They don't see him with rose tinted glasses, because they've lived through their own Horrors and empathize with Sasuke's experience.

......right?

WRONG lmao!! They have too many ghosts!! Naruto's single-minded codependent ass won't get out of his own way long enough to see Sasuke for who he actually is, only able to empathize with the parts of his trauma Naruto relates to and not really capable of understanding him outside of the context of himself (because Sasuke is. His other half). And Kakashi is far too jaded to be fair to him!! He can't decide if Sasuke is gonna end up as a mini-him or a mini-Obito or maybe a mini-Itachi, but either way he ALSO is too traumatized to see Sasuke AS SASUKE.

meanehile SAKURA'S autistic ass may have dogshit empathy, but you know what she does have? A special interest in sasuke. Nothing better to do then give herself a degree in Uchihaisms. She can write character studies about him. she can read his soul. Whenever she says something about him she is right. Every fucking time! She is RIGHT!!!!

As much as I love overwatch, I am so sick of people being mean. It seems like 90% of games whichever losing side either blames their tank or support when 90% of the time it's definitely not either. Also I only play quick play games so these don't even matter. I can understand being upset if you're playing competitive but people still don't need to be rude. Quick play is supposed to be fun. I usually get people commenting on me being a one trick but if I play anyone else then I get told I suck. How am I supposed to learn new characters if I get bullied from trying them? And especially now that there's only one tank I constantly see "tank diff" in the chat. Like grow up. It is very rarely only one person's fault that a game is lost and that's usually because they leave or they are literally not trying and just running around saying hi to the enemy team. No way was it all the tanks fault. And it's literally always the damage players complaining about it. Like maybe you're losing because you keep saying rude shit in the chat and you're bringing morale down and nobody wants to play with you.

#idk if the age group is just super young or if its literally just assholes that play but they need to do something about it #i feel like in the old overwatch it was easier to report people #but im also still new to this so maybe i just dont know how yet #and i mainly feel bad for the other people that have to play with them or when someone says something about my teammate #like i dont give a shit what people say to me personally #being a mercy one trick will give you a thick skin lol #but like i cant help but think about the next healer they play with #because it still does suck #like i get over it and continue like i dont see the comments but i wouldnt blame someone for stopping from healing them #any time someone on my team says something mean about our other healer i make sure to be extra aware of that healer and keep them alive #and ill take care of the asshole if they stop because i dont expect them to put up with them #the best though is when you start with a really toxic person and youre losing so badly that it genuinely hurts #and then they leave and all of a sudden you win #like yeah it was totally everyone else dude #overwatch

Designed a dress I want to make heavily inspired by Merida from brave and then I decided to draw it on Merida.

#I've been big on costume design ever since sophomore year when I was on our play's costume team and I like to think I'm good at it #In 11th grade I got a superior at districts competition for costume design so #Unfortunately I didn't get to do it again in 12th grade #I think my into the woods antebellum Red riding Hood and my regency Rapunzel would have gotten high scores but whatevs #Oh yeah! I also gave her archery gloves. I wish I had archery gloves it would save my hands so much pain #I have money I should get some #This had got to be one of my only dress designs without a million pounds of tulle #I like tulle heavy dresses lol #Like my Cinderella from into the woods design. Or my Juliet and Clara dresses (I admit I do name the dresses I design with people names #I know a lot of people do that and I think it's better than saying 'oh that one pink dress' like babes which one #I still need to properly draw my tinkerbell dior dress design #Basically the skirt is just like that one door dress. The one that looks like it's got flower petals. But it's green #And also very tulle heavy #For this dress I was trying to figure out a way to incorporate tartan in the design and as I was looking online for teal velvet fabric I #remembered how hard it is to find that exact shade of fabric (my dad made me a merida dress when I was little and it took forever for him t #find the exact shade) and then I realized I could just use blue and green tartan (which is way easier to find they've got plenty at Joann's #And I'm pretty sure my dad already has some I could use) instead!#I want to get a few simpler sewing projects under my belt before I attempt this #But my mum suggested I make a matching dress for my dolls and like. Literally amazing idea.#I've got a tunic I need to make for a convention so that's how I'm gonna start. When I started playing the new Final Horizon update I was expecting pure fun playing as Amy, Knuckles and Tails all while getting new story and a better final boss.... I wasn't expecting I was signing up for extra hard mode that made me feel very drained despite my setting being clearly set to normal difficulty.

Wildest thing supernatural ever pulled was the “two prophets can’t exist on earth at once” thing cause it results in a malformed prophet and..something something balance of the universe..something like that..I can’t remember. Look I don’t mind Gojo dying and I love the whole afterlife scene, but also what. an entire month of planning just to completely wing the fight and die before throwing another overpowered sorcerer in the fray?? Yuuji better have the most wild jaw-dropping plan to save Megumi because what was the point to them watching Gojo fight to the death and doing nothing. My only relief is that this makes it seem more likely Megumi and Nobara could be coming back, but I’m really just a little baffled at the thought process with Gojo’s fight and what happened over that time skip. What was all that about gege.

I’ve seen some posts talking about how gojo needed to fight/confront kenjaku and i don’t really agree, since Geto’s gone and this was Geto and Gojo meeting again. Never expected to actually know geto’s last words either. So he’s definitely dead. I’m honestly mixed on his death. It’s sad but the means to getting there were SO questionable. If we got a chance to see at least parts of their planning before the fight, I’d feel better, but it seems like they really just threw gojo in without any strategies or backup. Hurts just a bit. I’m ready for Yuuji to be the star again soon—he’s the glue holding me together

Persona romance routes are all pretty bad but damn they really hit rock bottom with p3p femc route like the misogyny is very blatant and it’s almost hilarious like look at the Shinjiro romance. When you do his social link he’s like very clearly respectful of Kotone as a leader and explicitly says stuff like "oh yeah you’re clearly the best fighter we have, I don’t really know much about fighting like you do, I hope I’m not dragging you down, you’re doing a good job as leader just remember to take care of yourself, everyone looks up to you I know you can rely on them" etc. like he has faith in her leading abilities. But then when you romance him he’s like got dialogue like "bwah bluh i gotta look after you because you’re a GIRL and you need to stick by me, a big strong MAN so you don’t get hurt" and "don’t wear that revealing outfit in front of other guys 👺" and it’s like. Does he respect her or not and also like it doesn’t make sense for him to look down on her for being a girl cuz he literally has never not been led by a girl leader during his time in sees and Mitsuru in particular really has her shit together when it comes to being responsible and a good fighter and she’s always known the most about Tartarus

It’s also like. Idk maybe its just me I’m not a girl so FUCK IF I KNOW but to me the appeal of romancing Shinji is the fact that he’s sweet and sensitive and gentle and has respect for you despite the fact that he acts all scary. That’s like, what made me like this character in the first place. But the writers seem to think what women want is for a BIG STRONG MAN to protect them because they are just DELICATE WOMEN who are inferior in every way it’s like. Shut upppp thanks
