I’ve tried like 500 times to articulate my thoughts about nonwhite superman and how much that adds to his childhood of loneliness and every time I hit a stumbling block because the topic makes me too insane to think but please hold my hand and imagine this little boy trying to grow up in rural Kansas and being the only person he’s ever known who looks like he does. This little boy who never has a proper answer when people ask where he’s really from, and even once he knows the truth of himself he can never safely share it. Please imagine him fighting every single day to belong and never being able to no matter how hard he tries because people will always find something questionable in the very way he looks. A lot of the superman mythos is dependant on Clark’s ability to assimilate but when you take that away what is left?? He’s just a kid fighting so hard for a belonging he’ll never have a hope in hell of being handed. Oh it hurts my heart

I very much understand why Nick is always so receptive to Boston cajoling him with sex.

They are super compatible in bed and Boston particularly is a very passionate and attentive lover. Compare him fucking Top and Gap to his sex with Nick: I would say that the sex he has with Nick is intimate to say the least.

And Nick craves to be loved by Boston, even if he's understood that he can never get it, what he IS getting is true affection so it's no wonder to me why he "gives in" every time.

i actually really like the jonelias dynamic that i have made up in my mind where it has the potential to turn into such a twisted and wicked relationship where its only driving force is desire. fucked up desire, but desire nonetheless. elias sculpted jon into exactly what he wanted, a god to be worshipped and heralded as the most important being in the universe. he made him into that. and jon will rest his head on elias's thigh and feel love coursing through them. is it for each other? they can't say. but it feels good.

if the cards had fallen a different way, i don't know. maybe jon wouldn't have resisted so much. maybe he would grow to enjoy it. another one of my made up desires: a jon sims who is just utterly accepting of the monstrosity that made him "other" in the eyes of his friends. he doesn't care. he'll take from people whatever he wants. he'll enjoy the act of feeding. which also goes hand in hand with the kind of pseudo cannibalism that tma had going on when jon was feeding on people's statements. the dangers of consumption. consuming another person and their fear. scarring them for the rest of their life. is it really so bad to feed and be healthy? jon didn't want to stop, not really. he felt bad, sure. but. it feels bad at first and then it doesn't. maybe, he only needed one more person to take the leap into a never-ending hunger. i wanted to see that.

so much potential here! jonelias on their knees for each other. jon is kneeling so that he can be praised, worshipped, loved for his monstrosity, not despite. elias is kneeling because jon is the closest thing he will ever get to god and he is beautiful and one day, he'll bring the beauty in fear out of the dark and everyone will see.

I have a lot of cool stuff that I thi #nk people into similar styles would want to buy. and I always need money to fund art and healthcare expenses and eventually moving to a diff #erent place someday. replacing broken electronics. etc. etc. So a wise decision is 'well sell a lot of the old clothes you have'. It is so #difficutl with my specific functioning issues though since it's such a long process and also packing things up. taking them to the post offi #ce etc. takes timing since I always have to be driven by roomates and stuff. etc. etc. #I think the way I was considering getting around this was to sell clothing in 'packs' like.. A pack of 5 or 6 matching items the same shade #of pink. or all green items with flowers so it's the same 'nature theme'. Or even selling full outfits or something. so that way I can kind #of bundle items. Instead of the effort of photograohing and listing literally 50 individual items. Turn them into 5 packs of 10. Or 10 packs #of 5. etc. ? But I think I never got too far with that because I was uncertain how that'd actually go over in terms of whether people would #buy groups of items instead of just individual. Especially whole outfits or something like. I think you'd get a wider audience giving people #more individual choice to choose seperate things instead of putting them together and going 'this is just what you get' or etc. #but I could also see it being cool. You already have some guaranteed stuff that matches. They have a theme. Especially if it's something you #like. I was talking with one of my friends just a bit ago about the book and in particular about Kimmuriel, and there's just SO many elements of his death that are like... equally tragic and funny.

And yet another one is how when they first start heading toward Menzoberranzan they run into some enemies, and Kimmuriel possesses one during the battle

and Drizzt is just absolutely horrified and he's like "wtf Kimmuriel, I thought you were a changed man who wanted peace and tolerance and butterflies and rainbows"

and Kimmuriel's like "well yeah but I'm not gonna be stupid about it, let's save the mercy for after we've won the war and people are done trying to murder us all"

and then later on Kimmuriel uses this same trick again to level all of House Armgo, getting them the hell out of there and saving Braelin.

Drizzt's gotta be just like... 'well I really can't say shit now, can I?'
