For the record…
… Yes, okay, guilty as charged, I’m not personally sure how I feel about Red as he was presented in the press conference. But that is my personal first impression—and I am absolutely certain that he will grow on me, probably very quickly.
And that’s all I’m gonna say on the subject. That I’m not not sure how I feel rn. That I need to see more to form an actual opinion.
This does not mean I hate him already or think he’s a bad character. It’s a really jerky thing to do to start hating on a character from just a short press conference/trailer. Please don’t be jerky, guys.

Inadequacy - Soda Imagine for Anon.
Anonymous asked: "A request for Sodapop where he thinks your ashamed of him??"
Warnings: swearing, fighting?
a/n: I hope it makes sense lol, I really tried my best but I started writing one thing then it turned into another but I think it’ll make sense eventually... hopefully
also can we just talk about that gif. Actually, we dont have to talk. Just look at it. Perfection.
Sodapop loved his girlfriend, even though she was a soc. Most girls, greasers and soc’s alike thought Soda was too handsome for his own good, but he didn’t think a soc would actually consider dating him. That was until (y/n) came along. She was everything he wanted in a girl, and he’d be a fool to let her slip through his fingers so easily. So he took a chance and asked her to a movie at the drive in, and they’ve been going strong ever since.
But Soda had his doubts sometimes. He would never admit it, but he was always worried she’d break up with him for someone smarter, more handsome, and wealthier than he was. He only expressed this to her once or twice, only when he was having a particularly bad day and it felt the world was crashing down on him. The stress would cause his emotions to run wild and he expressed these fears to her. But when he did, she’d kiss him and reassure him that he was the only one she wanted. And he was grateful.
Though the feelings of inadequacy lingered at the back of his mind, waiting for the next emotional downfall to make their presence known again.
Everything had been going well between them. They hadn’t argued in months, aside from small disagreements here and there, but that was to be expected in any relationship. They got along well, and Soda even saw himself spending the rest of his life with her. That was until a small series of events caused him to spiral emotionally again.
He was having quite a bad week. His workload at the DX increased due to a co-worker taking some time off. Then, Darry and he had been bickering because he accused Soda of slacking off more around the house, even though Soda was doing just as much, if not more work when Darry wasn’t around. Then to top it off, he and Steve got into a small argument that they hadn’t made up from just yet. He was quite on edge to say the least, and when he was on edge, he was much less agreeable than normal.
He and (y/n) had seen each other most nights all week, and she noticed a change in his demeanor. He was much less talkative and more distant, and she was worried about him. She decided to stop by his house on his day off to hopefully talk about things.
Soda had been lounging about the house all day, moving from the porch, to the couch, and then eventually to his room. He laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling, drowning in his thoughts.
“Soda?” a soft voice called from the door. He lifted his head to see (y/n) standing in the hallway.
“Hey, doll.” He said, inviting her to lay down beside him. He wasn’t expecting to see her today, but it was a nice surprise. She walked in the room and crawled beside him on the bed, wrapping herself in his arms.
“Pony let me in.” she said. He hummed in response but didn’t say anything else. They were silent for a moment, he still staring at the ceiling, and she trying to find the right words to say. “Is everything alright? You haven’t been yourself lately.” She said quietly.
“I’m okay.” He said flatly.
“You know you can talk to me about it, right?”
“I’m fine, (y/n). I don’t want to talk about it.” He said flatly again. They sat there in a long silence again until she eventually pulled away from him.
“I’ll see you later, Soda.” She said, beginning leave the room.
“Where are you going?” He asked, sitting up in his bed. His tone changed from apathetic to worried.
“I’m just gonna go home.”
“Just because I don’t wanna talk about it doesn’t mean I don’t wanna spend time with you.” He said to her
She sighed and turned to look at him. “You’re just gonna be moping around the entire day like you have been the past few days. I don’t wanna be around that.”
“Fine then, just go.” He said, laying back down with his arms crossed behind his head. She left without another word.
Soda felt guilty but didn’t run to stop her. He felt the damage was already done and she most likely didn’t want to talk to him. Best let the situation cool off.
Later that evening, Soda had patched things up with Steve. He was beginning to feel better already. The gang decided to go the Dingo for a coke and some fries. Soda was having a good time with his friends until he heard the jingle of the door opening. He turned to see who it was out of curiosity, but his stomach dropped when he saw (y/n) walk in with her soc friends. It wasn’t so much the fact that she was with her friends, it was one of the boys that was part of the group that walked in with them.
A soc boy named Ray. Clean cut, handsome, wealthy. Everything Soda wanted. If there was anyone he felt threatened by, it was Ray.
They sat down at a table across the diner. (y/) had no idea Soda was there. She was laughing and getting on with her friends. Jealousy erupted inside of him, wondering why she had never introduced him to her them.
Steve noticed Soda’s change in mood. “You okay?” He asked. He looked over to the group Soda was looking at and it all made sense. “Aw, Soda don’t worry about it. She’s just out with her friends.” He said, putting a hand on his friend’s shoulder.
Dally was sipping on his coke across from Soda. “That’s what you get for dating a soc, man.” He said nonchalantly, playing with the paper that his straw came in.
“Shut up, Dal.” Ponyboy piped up.
“What?” Dally jeered. “If he weren’t dating a soc he wouldn’t have to worry about shit like that all the time.” He said nodding over to the table.
Without another word, Soda stood from his chair and made his way over to the group. Ray was the first one to notice him. His smile quickly turned to a frown as he noticed Soda eyeing him down as he approached the table.
(y/n) noticed the the sudden absence of noise from the table and she turned to see what everyone was looking at. She smiled when she saw her boyfriend standing behind her. “Oh, Soda-“ she said, but he cut her off.
“Come with me.” He said. She was taken aback by the coldness in his tone.
“Oh, okay.” He said hesitantly but followed him out of the restaurant anyway.
Ray’s eyes darted over to the gang, immediately locking eyes with Dally. “Dal, don’t do anything stupid.” Two-bit warned.
“If this guy wants a fight, I’ll give him a fight.” Dally said rather loudly.
“Dal don’t” Ponyboy said, backing up Two-Bit.
Dally kept his eye locked on the soc, like a predator scouting his prey, not faltering for a second.
-
“(y/n), I told you how I feel about that guy!” Soda said, pacing slowly back and forth in front of her.
“Soda, what am I supposed to say to him? He’s part of my friend group I can’t just stop talking to him.” She said. Her arms were crossed as she leaned against a car outside the Dingo. “I don’t know how many times I gotta tell you this. I love you. If anything was ever gonna happen between me and Ray, it would have happened by now.” She explained, trying to contain her anger.
“How do you know that, (y/n)? What if he tries to pull a move on you?” He got closer to her.
“Soda, do you hear yourself right now? Are you asking me if I’d cheat on you?” She was hurt, she would never do that to him.
Soda kept pushing on, trying to catch her slipping up to prove he was right all along, because in his mind he was.“Well why didn’t you invite me out tonight then?” He asked. “Why haven’t I ever hung out with your friends?” She was about to speak but he continued. “There’s only two possible explanations. Its because you don’t want me to see how you are around that guy, or you’re embarrassed of me.” He said.
She was confused, where did that come from? “What?” She asked. “Embarrassed of you? What are you even saying?”
“You don’t want me around your soc friends because I’m a greaser. I’m poor, and I ain’t going anywhere in life. You’re ashamed of me.”
She stood here astonished. She didn’t know what he was talking about. “Soda, stop pulling these accusations out of your ass and listen to yourself. Why would I be with you if I was ashamed of you?” She took a step closer to him, letting her arms down, trying to be sympathetic. “I didn’t invite you tonight because you seemed upset earlier, I thought you didn’t want to see me. And, I don’t invite you out with my friends because I hear how you and your friends talk about them. I just thought you wouldn’t wanna have anything to do with them.” She explained.
Soda stared at the ground avoiding eye contact. He was starting to realize how much he overreacted. He felt like a fool.
She grabbed his hands in her own, leaning back against the car and pulling him a bit closer. “I ain’t ashamed of you. I don’t ever want you to think that, not ever.” He looked down at her, finally making eye contact. “I love you, Sodapop.” she said with a smile.
“I’m such a fool, (y/n).” He said quietly. “I’m so sorry, I’ve just been so stressed the past week. Everything’s just getting the better of me. I realize how stupid I sound now.” He admitted, dropping her hands and pulling her into a tight hug. “I’m so lucky to have you.”
“Don’t apologize, Soda. I just want you to come talk to me when you’re feeling like this. I’m here to listen always.”
He pulled away from her and looked into her eyes. He placed a large hand at the back of her head and slowly started pushing her closer to him.
They were interrupted by two people getting shoved out of the diner, a large crowd following behind them. They looked to the door to see Dally and Ray having it out, Dally having a tight hold on his shirt, clearly having the upper hand in the fight. Ponyboy was close by, trying to stop Two-Bit and Steve from jumping in to help him. Johnny stood from afar, trying not to enjoy the sight of Dally beating up a soc too much.
Dally threw Ray on the ground and punched him right in the nose. There was a wild look in his eye as he pulled his fist back, winding up for another punch.
“Oh shit.” Soda said, running over to the gang. Steve pushed past Pony to help Soda drag Dally away from the fight. (Y/N) followed close behind them.
“We gotta get outta here before the cops come.” Pony said. Dally was shouting at Ray who was being helped off the ground, no one paying attention to what he had to say.
The gang quickly left before anyone could stop them. Soda and Steve let go of Dally but kept pushing him forward, trying to stop him from turning around to finish what Ray started.
They finally reached the Curtis house, everyone going their separate ways as it was already getting quite late.
“You wanna stay over tonight?” Soda asked (Y/N).
“Sure,” she smiled. They entered the house, Soda grabbed some blankets and threw the couch cushions on the living room floor to act as a makeshift mattress. (it would have been weird if two of them slept with Pony in the same bed.) She sat down on his work in the middle of the living room as he grabbed blankets and pillows. He gently tossed the pillows at her, hitting her in the face.
“Hey!” she laughed. He unfolded the blanket before jumping beside her and covering them both with it. They giggled under the covers as they snuck small kisses between each other. “I’ll fight you.” She said.
“You wanna fight?” he teased. “It’ll be like swatting a fly away.” She jumped on him and they play fought for a bit, laughing loudly like young children.
“HEY!” a voice shouted from the other room. “KEEP IT DOWN, I HAVE TO BE UP EARLY TOMORROW.” Darry bellowed from his bedroom. They snickered as they kept taking jabs at each other, laughing quietly. Eventually their energy ran out and they laid beside each other, enjoying the silence.
Soda wrapped his arms around her and sighed deeply. “I love you (y/n), I’m sorry for all the shit I put you through.” He said, pulling her close.
She moved her head into the crook of his neck. “I love you too, Soda. You mean everything to me and don’t think anything less, ever.”

Hi please have some Fire Emblem: 3 Houses thoughts because I JUST finished part 1 and it’s time for bed (my switch died on me too, playing on mobile mode, long story) and I’m CURRENTLY FREAKING OUT so I need to get this out somehow so I can friggin sleep---
Major spoilers for the game (all over part 1 and very beginning of part 2) under the cut!! I’m playing Blue Lions route but I’m sure this goes for all:
- Well THAT’S what happened to Dimitri. No sleep to the point he thinks he sees the ghosts of his dead family wanting revenge. *facepalm* or does he really see them...because that is really concerning...but yeah there goes his sanity. Byyyye Dimitri’s sanity. DX You were such a sweet boy...I’m sure he;s still under all that trauma........
- Felix: I KNEW IT I KNEW HE’S A MONSTER HE LOVES TO KILL but also is he ok who do I need to fite (I laugh because Felix is a jerk but he does care in his own way and it’s kinda adorable in a very Felix way)
- Byleth’s hair is green now?? Ok let’s roll with it, it IS a pretty color. Hey so green hair usually = dragon in FE lore, so like?? Dragon powers now or????
- I...did see Jeralt/dad dying from like a mile away. The whole “I have something important to tell you...AFTER THIS REALLY BIG FIGHT” just screams “parent/mentor gonna die” to me >.< It was more heart breaking that even time travel couldn’t save him...
- I did NOT, however, see it coming on who the flame emperor would be O.o Man I REALLY gotta play the Black Eagle route soon, what is the justification for THAT. Also. What is Claude up to...is he okay...?
- Side note, the ballroom scene, Claude insisting on a dance with Byleth no matter the gender (I figure the scene is the same for male!Byleth) is just...so pure, what a good man <333
- SligHTLY bitter Byleth didn’t get a small dance with Dimitri tho???? C’mon. Let Byleth dance with her precious students...!!!!
-ANOTHER side note I’m so SO glad romance is so much less of a focus in this game. It makes me enjoy the relationships alot more actually!! Do you even marry anyone in this game at all? I see S ranks possible but does that actually mean marriage like the other games? Because if it isn’t I am more than fine with it *shrug*
- I recruited Bernadetta because she’s adorable, you can never have too many archers, and I wanna help her with her social anxiety...she has a hedgehog!! How cute!!
- I also think it’s really cute you can sometimes find the gifts you gave some students in their rooms! For example, I’ve found the birthday flowers I gave to Caspar in his room once and like BOY you’re not even my student, awwwwww!!! That’s a really nice detail in the game!!
- Anyway, seeing Dimitri’s rage build up to mental instability just broke my heart all over...I kept having Byleth invite him to tea parties with camomile tea specifically, even if I know it  doesn’t really change anything just...*sigh* I both wanna smack him and hug him, revenge only makes things worse baby don’t!!!! Don’t!!!!!!!
- Ashe is still a sweetie-pie over here I love himm...Annette, Ingrid...also any Dedue stans out there?? What a good, very tall egg <33
- Back to story stuff: BIG DRAGON OUTTA NOWHERE OH K AY
- Byleth falls to her apparent death but not really because green hair powers...got it....ALRIGHT ASLEEP FOR 5 YEARS TO RECOVER seems logical, I too, would like to take a 5 year nap sometimes?? Because that’s normal...
- Oh oh this is what people mean by the time skip! I’ve avoided spoilers but I have seen that mentioned...On to part 2! So um. More sad stuff to come I’m guessing, that’s normal for act II’s in plays...
- Yeah alot can change in 5 years, like your star student going completely feral and thinks Byleth is a ghost too! Boy, Dimitri always needed a haircut but this is ridiculous...they started to talk but then my switch died then, which I took as a good signal to go to bed but aaaaaaaAAAAA this game!!! Is so much better than Fates!!! The story is so much better thought out and engaging, I’ve gotten so much more attached to the characters than I ever did in Fates?? I love a couple from Fates, but I have some level of attachment to all the students in this game, even the ones not in my class!! And they’re all so different too, wow, how did they pull that off...
- Also please let me hug Dimitri.
- While we’re at it, all my students. Are they safe?? Where?? Are they?? What the h e ck???? Why isn’t there a hug option in this game???????? My biggest complaints!! No hug option and you can’t pick up/pet cats or dogs!! That’s about it haha
Whew...there’s alot I wanna draw for multiple fandoms now...but that was alot. It helped though! It was more for my sake but maybe someone got something out of that *shrug*
