#I know Alluka and Nanika just know I’m not referring to them when I’m always trying to defend Ki

Hello....Do you mind if I ask, cause you also love HxH. Your top 5 (or top 3) fav JJK characters will be besties with who (in your opinions) if they were in other universe, with your top fav characters from HxH? Hope my questions are not confusing. Thanks if you want to answer....
Well this isn't exactly what you asked for but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway XD Thank you for this ask <3
When I started to think about this, my brain went places. Not all of these are my favs, some of these characters I dislike but the headcanons kept coming.
Yuuji would befriend 3 out of the main 4 of HxH easily. He’d be into Gon’s Jajanken, Gon’d love to know about the Black Flash. Gon’d drag Yuuji on adventures, because Yuuji needs someone else to set the course and Gon’s great at that. Yuuji would geek out with Killua about pop culture. He’d feel great compassion for Kurapika but Kurapika doesn’t do friends so it’d be just that. Leorio would love Yuuji because he’s overpowered but very kind and less intense than Gon. I’m sure Leorio would go do karaoke with Yuuji.
Alluka and Nanika would instantly love Yuuji. They would also try to befriend and fix Sukuna. They’d think that surely he has good in him, like Nanika, and if only they manage to reach him, he can form a loving bond with Yuuji and others too. It was likely them who introduced him to Hello Kitty, he was never the same after that. Alluka would also love Kirara, see her as a mentor and I think Kirara would love her back.
Apart from Yuuji, Leorio would also like Nanami and Higuruma. He’d respect Nanami for choosing to help people and be happy that Nanami could choose a life not ruled by money. And Higuruma wanted to work the system from the inside and Leorio wants to do that too, maybe he could reignite the hope in Higuruma. He wouldn't be sure about Toudou but then again Toudou wouldn't mind his masturbation references XD.
Canary is very clever and can manipulate others so she’d respect Kenjaku’s plots and enjoy their personality. She would also like Maki, they’d train together with various weapons.
Nobara would judge Kurapika on their stuck up personality and lack of concern for others. She’d find Leorio cringe. But she’d be friends with Canary, because quick lesbian friends. With Gon, Killua and Alluka she’d initially be like meh, brats. But she’d warm up to them. Gon’s as driven and independent as she is, and she already has a sweet bff in Yuuji, so she likes that type. And Killua and Alluka she’d adopt as younger siblings. They want to escape the oppressive confines of a closed community and creepy traditions, she’d sympathise with that. Plus she’d bond with Killua about clothes. It’d take time with him, because they are both so petty but as soon as they’d bond on being petty about something together, they’d be inseparable to the despair of everyone around them.
Megumi would become distinguished rivals with Kurapika. They both know that the group can’t fit more than one pretentious over intellectualised teenager with a lot of trauma. But Kurapika doesn’t really want to hang around so Megumi would win that spot by default of not having a doomed revenge to drive him. He’d likely warm up to Gon and later to Leorio. He’d initially think Leorio is a bit like Gojou but then he’d learn that Leorio is a far better, actually reliable person and he’d grow to respect him. Killua would grate him because Killua is as knowledgeable as Megumi but far more talented and his relationship with Alluka and Nanika would always remind Megumi of how he fucked up his own relationship with his sister. He would try to play cool but envy’d be eating him inside.
Initially I thought Hisoka would like Mei Mei. But tbh I think that their creepy shared interest wouldn’t bring them together, more like they’d be territorial about their “toys”. He’d likely vibe with Mahito, they both love to mess with people and murder them for fun, and Kashimo who’d be Hisoka’s buddy and rival, I think they’d keep a tally of who won with a larger number of strong opponents.
I think if Bisky was transported into the JJK world, she’d think she ended up in heaven. So many hot men, like from her magazines. She’d try to score with as many as she could. And so many poorly trained but amazingly talented kids, so many gems she could polish to shine brightly. She could maybe even reform Sukuna, show him what true mentoring is about. He really wants to teach others but kills them in the process, that’s not very efficient. Kinda sub par mentoring. And she'd likely become besties with Yuki.
Uraume would bond with Pitou, they both are non binary, both have a sense of humour and they both loyally serve overpowered men who think they are very smart and who eat people.
Illumi would study the 3 clans, he doesn’t do friends, but he might find new inspiring methods to apply to his own family. He'd be also weirdly drawn to Chousou though he wouldn't approve of how Chousou enacts his brotherly obsession, he doesn't try to control his brothers enough. Chousou would obviously despise him.
Now Ging and Kenjaku would have a similar and dissimilar relationship Ging and Pariston have. Similar because Ging would want to study Kenjaku under a microscope, like he wants to do with Pariston. And I suspect they’d both respect each other’s curiosity. Though Ging has some semblance of morality so Kenjaku’s methods and possibly world ending goals wouldn’t fully vibe with him. But they’d be sharing parenting tips and successes. Like look at my overpowered kid I made as an experiment and then abandoned to just gently nudge his life this way or that way so he’d excel. Ging would be fascinated with Kenjaku’s baby making methodology and Kenjaku would go to Greed Island with the sole purpose of getting the pregnancy stone card.
Gojou would follow Pariston around begging him to reveal his secrets, how did Pariston manage to have the whole Hunters Association dance to his tune. How did he learn to play these political games and win? Gojou sucks at that so much. How is Pariston so effortlessly glamorous on a level Gojou could only dream of?
Ijichi and Beans would form a support group.
So would Palm and Yorozu.

Adultrio with an autistic partner? :3
Hey and thank you for the request!
I personally don't know anyone who has autism and I'm basing this on things that I've read and that my mom told me about a friend's son who is autistic. If there's anything wrong/offensive or that could help educate me better for future reference and just general knowledge (good resources like online books or sites, for example), please let me know.
I've included one thing that this person's son has done that I've been told about in each character's headcanons, just so you know. Maybe it's going to help others understand autism a bit better, at least I hope so.
Also, none of them would treat you any differently because you're wonderful just the way you are and they love you all the same! It's just something that makes you you! ❤️
I hope you enjoy this! 🙇
Chrollo
so, Chrollo would actually read quite a lot about autism, because: 1. He likes reading and 2. He cares about you
he'd always speak gently and calmly to you and try to keep you close to him, especially when you're outside and if he knows that loud noises and crowds may bother you and seem like too much
Chrollo always leaves your things alone and where you put them because he's seen how upset you were when someone sat in your usual seat on the bus when you went on a date and he had to ask the person to move so you could sit down peacefully (thankfully, he didn't have to try intimidating them or anything more drastic, this time at least)
if you're ever upset about something and he wants to comfort you, he always, and I mean always asks if he can touch you or come closer to you and depending on your answer, he'll do exactly as you say to help you feel better
even if you don't want him to hug or even come close to you, Chrollo's always willing to talk to you to better understand what caused you to feel this way and help you better
he will always make time to go to therapy with you no matter what and always wants what's best for you and your well-being
will always admire your memory, especially after seeing you gather several things that he's stolen and laid out to examine them (only telling you to be careful and not hurt yourself), only to see you come back after quite a few minutes and putting them exactly where they had been
Chrollo and the Troupe always take care of you and learn on the way and with your help and explanations on how to better help you
and may God have mercy on whoever says or does anything bad to you because, simply put, they're fucked, with Chrollo always dealing the finishing blow
he always brings you presents and always looks for the best doctors, therapists and medicine if you ever need any
hell, Chrollo would probably even steal the moon for you (he'd try, at least)
Hisoka
Hisoka would be a bit weird because he's never had to confront with something like this before
but that's only in the beginning
our colourful magician will definitely read about autism and ask you about it, particularly after you got upset because someone insulted you that day and you refused to let him touch you
so he just sat somewhere farther away from you and played with his cards while talking with you in a much quieter voice than usual (that's reserved just for you) about whatever you wanted
also, he killed that person when he asked you what they looked like and you told him everything you could remember
just like Chrollo and even Illumi, he'll do his best to take care of you and your needs, whether you need something in particular or just another doctor's opinion on a new treatment
he's using Bungee Gum to keep you close by, even if you don't feel it, after you left the house one day and came back several hours later without Hisoka knowing where you were (he panicked, even more, when he saw that you left your phone on the couch)
but he literally felt like a weight was off his shoulders when he saw you unharmed, saying that you were bored since he left on some business in town
one of the few times when he hugged you and it was so quick and surprising you couldn't even complain
calmly told you that next time, call him, no matter what, because he'll answer anytime you call
Hisoka never gets angry when it comes to you, no matter how infuriating it might be for other people who are just too narrow-minded to understand that it's not your fault
it's part of you and he cares about you as a whole
also, fuck those people, he'll be right back he says as he kisses your forehead and draws out a few cards
Illumi
again, another weird one in the beginning, but it's Illumi, what did you expect?
always asks you if he ever wants to understand better what autism means and what it entails, especially in your case, because you know yourself best
will definitely look for the best doctors and therapists in the world for you
no one is allowed to say anything negative to you about your autism (or anything, for that matter), not even his family, mostly because they respect you and they know that you're strong enough because you are yourself and not only accepted that, but made Illumi fall for you too
you'll always have whatever you want and need, no matter what and no matter what the price is
always asks you how you're feeling, no matter what time of the day it is or even if you're not together at that moment and you're on the phone
since he is pretty honest and doesn't really joke around, you can rest assured that you'll always know what Illumi says without fearing that you misunderstood something
I have a feeling that you'll, at one point, meet Alluka and get along with her the best, even with the risk of Nanika coming out to play
but, surprisingly, she'll always treat you nicely and never ask for much if you ever wish for something
Illumi is slightly paranoid that something might happen to you, but you know that there's nothing to worry about
because of this, Killua will most probably also like you a lot and become your friend, which would mean you hanging out with him, Illumi and Gon, maybe even Kurapika and Leorio sometimes
may ask, also maybe prompted by Killua, subtly, to ask Leorio about advice and whatnot if he ever feels as if he needs to know more
you just need to know that you'll always have Illumi
and everyone else who managed to see what an amazing person you are and become your friends, by your side, supporting and loving you
and also that no one will ever mess with you unless they want to deal with that large amount of bloodlust

Unpopular HxH opinions
Alright so, here’s some of my “unpopular” hxh opinions. I’m not meaning to offend anyone, these are opinions and I am perfectly accepting of other points of view, by stating them I am not impliying in any way that your are wrong.
Also, please keep in mind I’ve only read the manga (once), never seen the anime, which from my understanding further develops certains scenes. I also went in after a month of lurking in the fandom and had certain expectiations, which may have spoiled my experience at times.
In the manga, white backgrounds and closeups are fine (in certain parts). When characters are talking in transitional scenes, it’s fine. You’re reading quick dialogue, a more complex panel would be wasted with the short reading time. Although I believe Togashi does go overboard at certain points, he (almost) always uses different shots/backgrounds for the more important parts, the one that the eye will spend more times on. There’s exceptions, but readers should understand that panels of characters saying stuff like “yeah/let’s go/ok/etc.” should be simple, it’d be a waste of drawing time otherwise.
Pariston is kinda... boring, at least in the manga. The fandom hypes him up a lot, and I do like the idea of him, but when it comes to the actualy story, to me he only shines when interacting with Ging.
Also, Anime Pariston is prettier that Manga Pariston.
Greed Island arc is good. It’s fun, it has many moments that cement Gon’s lack of self worth and his relationship with Killua, and it serves as a nice break between two dark arcs, thus making the CAA more impactful.
Regarding the fandom, I’ve had the impression people will just claim that the darkest arc is the best? I could be totally off here, but sometimes it feels like fans are just repeating popular ideas, without thinking why the arc is good.
My favourite arc is Greed Island, but I do recognize that the CAA is masterfully written and it has some of the best scenes and characters of the manga (like Shaiapouf). It is better than GI, but I still prefer the other: for once I like the “happier” one.
Shaiapouf is an amazing character and reducing him to “annoying and crazy” is just ridiculus. You can find him that, but it has to be recognized that his characterization is outstanding.
Shaiapouf is more interesting than Pitou, whose character development wasn’t executed as well, at least according to me. While with Shaiapouf we get a few, subtle hints to his development, Pitou just says an extablishing phrase (”What the king wants is what matters”) and then, once Meruem asks them to heal Komugi, they have that key moment. But that’s kind of it? I don’t know, perhaps I’m just biased because I hate cat people and loved Pokkle. Super open to debate about this one!
Youpi is interesting, although less than Shaiapouf. His changing ideas about honor and conflict were cool.
Chrollo and the Phantom Troupe are wasted potential, not bad characters. Ok, listen, I know that I diss them a lot, but. In the York Shin Arc there was this whole setting up about group dynamics and how living in a disfunctional society impacts people: the Spider is composed of people who’ve found their purpose in the group. It has the potentiality to be interesting, how they value the idea of the spider more than the memeber. And yet, this is ultimatly left undeveloped, which is a pity.
Of course, when I talk about development I am referring to a characterization that doesn’t justify their actions, but simply makes them more well rounded characters.
Chrollo was literally set up to be a man going through an identy crisis, but in the end he’s just a pretentious, edgy asshole.
Why is Shalnark popular? He has little to no appereances in the manga. I get that he’s pretty, but still... Does the anime develop him more?
I love the idea of Killua/Gon, but if the manga were to focus on their friendship I’d be fine with it too. To be honest, sometimes I feel like the reason certain interactions come off as romantic is due to their codependency - however, I guess it could be both.
Wether they end up as friends or “lovers” (using the term loosely ‘cause they’re kids), first they need theraphy. Mito, do something.
On the topic of shipping... I like Leorio/Kurapika, but the manga doesn’t really seem to be going for it? Only when they met after the Election Arc there seemed to be some implications. I dunno, I guess we’ll see. Togashi come back please.
Why do people portray Zeno as the sane one of the family? He allowed Silva to abuse all of his children. He is a bad person. You can like him! But don’t claim he’s sane, he just doesn’t like bullshit.
Kalluto supremacy. (may not be controverial, but needs to be stated)
And last, but not least, my most controversial opinion.
Let me start off by saying that I love the idea of Alluka and Nanika. I love what they represent and I’m truly happy that so many people feel represented by these characters. However, I couldn’t help to find Alluka a bit... dull, at least in the manga. She’re mostly there, looks cute, does nearly nothing... that’s it. She has a lot of potential and I hope she’ll get more development in the future. From my understanding, the anime fleshes her out a bit more? Also, let me reiterate that I like her character, just think there’s room for improvement (in the way she appears in the plot). There were some great scenes, my favourite being when Alluka “defended” Nanika: I really liked the methaphor and would love for more stuff like that.
I’m also concerned by her dynamic with Killua. I am afraid that having to take care of someone else will only fuel Killua’s codependent tendencies. I hope this relationship will actually be an healing experience for him.
...that’s it, I think! If you made it this far... wow. Thank you! Would love to hear your opinions, I’m always open to debate.

OKAY SO I know ghost hunters au is a leopika au buT I HAVE TO ASK - how did Gon develop a crush on Killua before Killua did on him??? Is there ever a point in the series where the viewers think they might be together like they did with leopika or nah? And do they ever start dating??? AND DOES ALLUKA EVER MAKE A GUEST APPEARANCE ON THE SHOW WITH NANIKA (Sorry for all the questions I’m just so curious bfkakakqksk)
no don’t be sorry! ask away! questions are fun :D And also killugon is my usual zoneroni so of course I’ve thought about them too lolol
1) Gon’s crush – Killua knows Gon is hot from the moment they meet because hello, he has eyes, but it takes him longer to shift from “oh no he’s hot” to capital-F Feelings. This is largely because Killua is a disaster gay and a doofus about feelings (or, perhaps, a doofus about people having feelings for him...). The two of them definitely hit it off right away and even hang out with each other outside of working on Spooky Hunters, which is probably how Gon comes to realize that he’s developed a huge crush on Killua. :3 I haven’t made any official decisions yet but I’m thinking that maybe Killua drops by Gon’s apartment for a movie night and doesn’t think it’s weird that Gon had an extra video game controller out in case any intangible visitors got interested in poking the buttons, and Gon’s heart does a little flippy-floppy and he’s like “Ah.”
This makes a lot of sense in retrospect once Gon learns about Alluka, of course – and when he meets her AND Nanika he talks directly to Nanika as well and comments that she’s really nice and yes Killua knew he would do that but watching it happen has him like ❤️__ ❤️ so what I’m saying is that’s probably when his feelings smack him in the face and he falls totally in love with Gon lmao
2) The viewers – As it happens Gon and Killua are almost never on camera at the same time (as cameraman Gon is pretty much always behind it and never in front of it) so the viewers don’t notice the increasingly obvious feelings between them. And Leorio and Kurarpika aren’t going to ruin it by pointing it out, because they have a bet going on how long it will take for the two to finally get together. It’s probably for the best that the viewers don’t see this though because Killua manages most of the social media (once they finally think to make some accounts) and he would DIE.
3) Do they ever start dating – Yes! And Kurapika wins $20.
4) Alluka & Nanika guest appearance – Alluka is pretty secretive about Nanika with most people, for obvious reasons, and Killua doesn’t want his sister to be harassed by strangers on the internet, nor does he want his more spectral sister to be (accidentally) harassed by his friends. So if Kurapika suggested bringing her onto the show Killua’s response would amount to “lmao i think the fuck NOT you trick-ass bitch.” 😂 He’s also established that if Leorio or Kurapika ever reference on-camera that his sister has a ghost, he will edit that shit out SO fast that they’ll get real-life whiplash.
They do get the chance to meet her in person one day though! There aren’t any ghost shenanigans because Nanika is shy (conveniently for Leorio) but Alluka herself is a lovely young woman, and somehow much nicer than Killua even though they clearly have the same snark.

Killugon fanfic recs~
So I got super sick about two weeks ago and in my suffering I decided to try and read some newly posted killugon fics to distract me. And I found some really really good fics! I wanted to make a post about them bc I feel like there’s been a drought of good killugon fics lately and these pple deserve more love and attention for their hard work ^-^
-
1) Quintessence (their tumblr: @storybookprincess)
this author is just.......amazing. like seriously.
writes both one shots and small multi-chaps
very good at descriptions and writing emotions that feel like they’ve punched me in the chest
they keep all characters really on point so when you read their fics it feels like you can hear the characters talking
they have like 9 killugon fics and 1 leopika? and they’re all stellar
my fav fics by them are:
where the wall meets the floor
rules and exceptions (an incomplete list)
stare down demons, come back breathing
the mood for you
good reasons to freeze to death
anyway just read their stuff you won’t regret it
-
2) You’re Breaking My Guard by peachiinari (their twitter: @peachiinari)
this is like a crazy long multi-chapter fic. seriously, it’s at 108k words AND IT’S STILL UPDATING???
the updates are super quick and super long. I’m amazed that someone could write this much and this well.
the plot is super cool. It’s a college au, modern au, fight club au. why wouldn’t you want to read it???
it’s slow burn but not so slow that you want to pull your hair out. Gon and Killua’s relationship feels very natural and they go through the normal stages of meeting, crushing, going out, being serious, fighting, etc.
there’s a ton of extra characters in this. Alluka, Ikalgo, Zushi, Mito, Knuckle, Bisky, Morel, and Hisoka just to name a few.
I love this fic. Pls read it.
-
3) Green and Tender Magic by AutumnPen (their tumblr: @autumnxsunflower)
this is not a new fic but I just started reading it yesterday and I’m already up to chapter 14 so it’s new to me lol
autumn is this veteran hxh and killugon fan so I trusted this fic to be awesome before I even opened it AND I WAS RIGHT
this fic is also a crazy long multichap fic which I love. It’s currently at 70k words and still going!!!
it’s a magic au with a veryyyyyy cool world built in. it feels totally original when you read it and yet it’s not hard to grasp the language used to refer to specific magic-y items
this fic is also slow burn but not too slow if you know what I mean. there’s enough development in each chapter that the way Gon and Killua’s relationship progresses is very natural
it’s so well written. like, seriously. grammar is perfect, the ratio of description to dialogue is perfect, the dialogue is perfect.........it’s a perfect fic
each chapter is crazy long and so interesting. each chapter could be it’s own stand alone fic I think because of it’s length/plot. it draws you in and I always get so excited to click the next chapter when I reach the end of the current chapter I’m on
there’s a lot of characters in this fic too and they’re all very on point: Bisky, Alluka, Nanika, Palm, Mito, Illumi, Kalluto, etc
it’s just such a beautiful fic. really. I cannot praise it enough because it’s just about amazing and captivating in every way? the plot is engaging, the writing style is beautiful, the world is amazing.........it’s just so freaking good.

why is alluka gender an issue like half the fandom said she actually an boy but wants to be refer as an girl but half said she always been an girl but her family disown her for being an monster
Oh boy oh boy.
(just a note, i use a general “you” in that answer, I don’t talk to you directly nonny, it’s just easier for me to word what I want to say)
Alluka is a girl. There is no debate to have about it. she’s a girl, she identifies as a girl, and the only people refering her as a boy are the same people who refers to her as a monster and abuse her, so they shouldn’t be taken into consideration when it comes to the well being of their daughter/sister.
The narrative is rather clear that she’s a transgirl. A lot of people can talk about it better than I do, but it’s rather clear she was dmab (especially since in the flashbacks she is refered by male pronoums). The treatment by her family, mostly toward Nanika but honestly toward everything Alluka is in general, is really symbolic of a lot of trans people living in a family that would reject them.
So when she says she’s a girl, it means she’s a girl.
Killua is the only member of her family who loves her and respects her, and with the narrative being clear that the family doesn’t know about Alluka at all while Killua knows everything, and Killua had been one of our main characters, a good judgement for the whole show, who’s thoughts had always been as honest as possible, someone we’re supposed to trust. So if Killua says Alluka is a girl? She’s a girl.
If the people who calls her “it” or a monster, who don’t know anything about how her powers work, who isolate her, who are scared of her, who tries to force a narrative on her that isn’t hers, who are a clear parallel to transphobic families, tells the audience she’s a “he”, how the fuck do you want to trust them?
So no, there’s no debate to have about it. None. Alluka is a girl. She’s a transgirl. The narrative is clear about who you have to believe, the narrative is clear that it’s what to do to respect her. And if that wasn’t enough, all the symbolisms go in that direction as well.
So for people saying “she’s a boy who believes she’s a girl”, there’s two solutions: Either they are extremely uneducated on this topic and had a harmful understanding of this kind of situation, or/and they are transphobic.
The manga didn’t spell out the fact Alluka is a transgirl. Because it makes sense and the reader should put it into consideration by themselves. They never say it ontext “by the way she’s trans”, but it’s rather clear in every other aspects that she is.
So for someone who’s not educated, say, a really young person, or someone who had never been even made aware of the existence of trans people, and if they never had a proper education on how to react in those circumstances, I suppose they can’t know.
But that doesn’t mean they can actually call her “he”. It means they need to educate themselves.  (If you are in that situation i would bring you to this essay that was written about Alluka’s gender.).
And there is the case of people being downright transphobic. And for that I don’t have any answer that isn’t incredibly mean, but just fuck off. The narrative is being clear that people who misgender Alluka are antagonists and abusers. If that’s what you want to identify as and be tone-deaf about what people tell you, it’s a problem.
One last thing: no matter what gender you think someone is, if they tell you they’re another gender, you listen to them and you use the appropriate pronoums. It’s none of your business to judge someone over what they tell you they are or not, no matter how hard you believe it. It costs $0 to actually adress the person as the way they want to be adressed.
If you believe “she’s a boy who prefer to be identified as a girl”, that’s transphobic, but also it’s not your place to say what their gender is. It’s what they say that matters.
And a lot of people discussed it, especially people who can connect to Alluka’s storyline better than I do. Listen to them. Understand their points. Open your mind.
And if people still refer to her as a “he” while knowing all of that, just fuck off.
EDIT: something I forgot to adress bc i forget I have to adress it, is that sort of “but maybe Alluka was dfab but her parents wanted her to be a boy/deshumanized her so they called her a he” - I’m p sure it was confirmed she was dmab (kinda in a tactless way by Togashi, but still did), and more is explored is the essay i linked.
So please don’t.
Take care nonny!
