I don’t remember if this was canon or just fanon, but there was something about Mei and putting trackers on her friends? In the TMKATI-verse, this could be her way of dealing with her parents, to know where her family is. Some keep them on them for her sake.

But what if it those trackers also had cameras and could record sound?

And it recorded the moment Mr. Star Lord of Fire hit Li Jing with his car?

I am only saying this because it would make for Nezhas favorite video clip ever.

And him showing it to Canon!Nezha would be good too. He’d get a human world phone just to have this video with him, I think.

May or may not show it to the rest of the canon group – many reactions ensue, at least a few snickers to a cackle.

But imagine, later – Li Jing for some reason has arrived and has to tell the canon-gang something (can be anything, not important). The Eclipse twins are placed a in a hastily made nest from the scarves/capes and given a phone with a video playing as distraction, while the grown ups deal with that a-hole.

And he’s talking.

And talking.

And talking.

Man’s posturing more than saying the very important thing somebody high up in the Celestial Realm sent him to say. It’s very annoying. The 30 minute video the cubs were watching has ended already and they are now randomly jumping from video to video.

Until the algorithm manages something magical.

The next video they play, is the cucaracha car horn.

It is loud.

Loud that the gang instantly stiffen and desperately stone their expressions to not burst out a laugh.

Probably doesn’t help that the ‘huh’ sound Li Jing made was almost similar to the sound he made when hit with the car.

At least that got him to finish the message and leave.

Cackles ensue. The twins are confused but okay with the hugs baba is giving them.

Mei does in canon have trackers on the rest of the Monkie Kid gang as mentioned in "Noodles or Death", it's how they're able to find out where Pigsy and Tang are; apparently a camera is attached to Tang's glasses.

The canon series doesn't really expand upon it much afterwards beyond being an easy way for the crew to find out where Tang and Pigsy went.

Baby Mei def had attachment issues - her dragon parents knew she was the new Ring of Samadhi, and they didn't want to "get too attached" (especially with a warning from Ao Guang about something big going down), and after the whole "batman-ing" happens...

Cue a baby dragon with separation anxiety who screams if she isn't in the presence of at least one of her caretakers. Like she'd start crying if someone went to the bathroom without her.

Mei got better as she got older, but she always had very bad anxiety regarding her family members even as an adult. She started to worry about the ways her adoptive family could be hurt and unable to contact her. An Incident where MK got himself into some hero-nonsense as a kid and couldn't answer his phone for many hours, Mei had a straight up panic attack, worried that her little brother had gotten hurt.

The trackers/cameras came in as a compromise to Mei clinging to MK 24/7 after the incident. It really helped to put her anxiety at ease and allow for her and MK do their own things as teenagers. As someone who grew up with anxiety, its kinda hard to learn to just "go do stuff" on your own.

Pigsy thinks the cameras/trackers are a bit creepy, but Macaque and Wukong are like; "How is it any different from us using our powers to keep tabs on you guys?" Pigsy in turn argues that the monkeys don't have a chance of catching him in the bathroom ("I use Gold Vision all the time during work to see if you're in the can or not."). Eventually the arguments peter off until the adults just agree to keep the trackers on their phones/personal effects.

MK in turn is very meticulous on keeping himself findable for Mei.

MK: *is being kidnapped by Villains of the Week* MK: "I wanna warn you guys, I swallowed an air tag." VOWs: *shared looks of confusion*

And ofc due to at least one family member at a time having a camera on them, especially during missions...

He’ll be confused about why you want to film in the first place but when you explain it’s because you want it for memories. 

He’ll lick the camera lens a few times too. 

He’ll borrow the camera to film him doing the dumbest stuff. Like he’ll film himself going on rants about like anything and probably film him trashing stuff around the house or whatever. 

This would be a good time to get to know his past. He’ll let his guard down and open up about how he got here. 

The Sawyer brothers

Chop Top will show off a lot of random rats he has in his room that he keeps as “pets’. Nubbins will show off his animals bones and hides. Bubba will show a lot of the clothes he makes and his masks. 

Bubba freezes up on camera in the beginning but Nubbins and Chop top most of the time forget it’s there so they just yell a bunch and like swear and say a bunch of gross stuff to each other and Drayton. 

They’ll love to watch back the tapes a lot and Chop Top will keep them with his horror movie collection. 

Drayton even might join in a few times too. If you want to learn more about the family this will be a good time to ask him about it. He feels like this is a good way to keep the memory of the family alive. He’ll suggest having grandpa in the videos and answering questions about him. 

Brahms Heelshire

He’s never really been around a video camera so he’ll act very formal around it. He’ll want to do a lot of answering questions and showing off stuff around the manor. 

He will never take his mask off on camera. He only takes it off alone or when you get really close with each other, you. 

He’ll want to film you a lot. Teach him how to use it and he’ll capture a lot of moments. 

He likes you filming him doing something he’s good at like playing the piano. He might do a tour of the manor too if you have enough space on the card to do that. 

If you have a computer to edit the videos he’ll want to watch you do the entire process. He’ll ask a lot of questions and might learn how to do it himself. 

The Sinclair brothers 

Lester’s gonna the the first one to really volentarily be on camera. He’ll show off a lot of his stuff and probably the animal pit. He’ll ask for lots of videos of Jonesy and will love to take a tour of the town and the House of wax. 

Vincent will come along next. He’ll be camera shy and if you film him working he might be a bit stiff, scared to mess up. You’ll have to assure him no one outside the four of you will see it and that you can always delete it. Over time he’ll get more comfortable on camera and might steal it from you to film you or some of his victims. He might even film his process of making the figures too. 

Bo will make appearences on the camera but it won’t be until he’s a bit drunk until he really is the main focus. After that he’ll slowly appear more and more and act natural on camera. He’ll ask you to film a lot of the figures in town and all the work they do. He’ll tell you stories about his parents and from his childhood, a good amount of them being about Lester and how he often brought home animals. But he’ll keep all the stories positive, telling you to turn the camera off if he wants to get more serious with what he’s telling you. 

A lot of the videos will be of Lester talking or watching Vincent or Bo work. Bo might even do a video showing how he lures people in and well you know what he does next. 

Bring the Camera when everyone is with each other doing something together. I feel like every once and awhile they all play pool or cards together. I like to think there’s a lake nearby Ambrose where they went swimming a lot as kids so one or all of the brothers will take you there and maybe come back to swim again.

Hi ! I read your blog and really admire your observation skills. I want to bring your attention to some things I personally observed

1) During JK's live where he listened to letter. So he was playing songs from YT, right? And he searched up "지민"(Jimin) in the searchbar and scrolled down on recommended searches ("Jimin- jaman- jimin") till he found " 지민 pyeonji" or " 지민 편지" which weverse translated to dear.ARMY. Now if you search "지민 편지" on YT, the 3rd video that pops up is the FMV made by elisssa which is a beautiful Jikook compilation with thumbnail of Jimin piggybacking on Jungkook after a show. When he scrolled down, he saw the thumbnail and smiled at 0:10. (https://youtu.be/OM2EH_VKxW4?si=_mbBZqLzVxdztL7Z). I am absolutely sure this was the reason for his smile. Finally, the video he ended up playing was the lyric video that shows up 2nd for the search. He didn't play the Dear.army live clip as many claim. I know this because I pay attention to music and the one he listened to didn't have acoustic instrumentals like in the live clip. He reacted to the original song.

So my conclusions are:

Jungkook now knows that there are jikook FMV/compilations to letter with above 500k views. And his reaction was just a cute smile. Infact i have never seen jm and jk mind their ship or mentions of the ship.

He didn't play the live clip for whatever reason but maybe because it was too much for him to watch the live version? especially after crying about army's songs? He was in an emotional state after all.

Phew..

2) The JK bday post made by JM on Instagram. I'll just say it- Jimin's pants are sketched. Badly. With a phone editor. While JK's pants/trousers are clearly visible with cloth texture and everything, Jimin's are just plain dark , 2D, with a wobbly waistband. Lol. Even if you change image settings, nothing changes. As someone with decent amount of photo editing knowledge, i am 100% sure of this. Reminds me of the jkk selfie from that exhibition where Jimin's black shirt was clearly sketched. So what do we do with this info? Lol. Maybe jm was in underwear. Yes.

I will never say with 100% confidence that jikook are absolutely dating but their bond is definitely for the history books. Have a good day/night.

Hello dear. Thank you for passing by my blog leaving such an interesting ask and also the little compliment you made me, I appreciate it so much. I have been looking in detail at the things you’ve pointed out and my observations about them are the following:

1) The video search. I have to say that I’ve search “지민 편지” from different accounts and the video edit you said doesn’t appeared in the first ones. Maybe it’s because now there’re trendier ones but you have to scroll down to see that specific video. It’s possible that Jungkook saw it that day or maybe he saw something else that made him smile like that. Maybe he was just smiling at Jimin in the thumbnails of almost all of the videos or he was remembering a fond moment. Whatever it was I’m sure it was Jimin related and was a really sweet gesture. You can see the man melting looking at him in the screen.

About Jungkook having knowledge of this kind of content I think we can be sure that he knows about it pretty well. I mean he watched a video of bts teasing Jimin, is obvious that he has been watching compilations in YouTube and is almost impossible to not cross by to one of this type. The same goes in twitter, Instagram and tiktok. The boys must know everything we’re into as a fandom so I wouldn’t be surprise if they had searched for fanarts and other stuff before. Jimin and Jungkook don’t seem bothered by fans shipping them together in general, at least they haven’t expressed themselves like Tae has done with taekookers so probably they are okey with it. Although I have to say that I feel like Jimin is trying to keep it low this year and doesn’t want to talk about Jk that much and the things that they have going on for some reason. Maybe it’s because the military service is approaching, maybe is because of the breaking into his apartment and his private life… I can not tell the motives behind this decision but I think is pretty obvious that he has been protecting his private life with more tenacity than before, and that includes Jungkook, and that decision alone speaks volumes.

2) The birthday photo. I have to say that I didn’t notice this and is pretty interesting!! You have an amazing eye for the detail anon!!! I’m not sure if only the top part of the pants are drawn or the whole thing. Maybe he was trying to hide his underwear showing or he was plainly in something more compromising. Maybe we’ll see the behind the scenes of this photo in the program that Jikook has recorded, who knows. Whatever it is I’m sure Jimin is comfortable enough to be just in underwear in front of Jungkook, I mean, we know that he usually goes naked at home and this guys have been living together for half their lives. And if we want to be more delusional, we know that in their Tokio trip the bathroom of their room had a huge window. So, yeah, no privacy whatsoever for Jikook.

On the other hand, being more objective, what makes me think that maybe he was just on his swimming trunks and there’s no reason to panic is because obviously there was other people with them, somebody else took the photo for them so probably the staff was there too, I don’t think they would be in underwear or something “compromising” if other people were around.

Although my answer wasn’t maybe what you were waiting for Anon I hope you continue to send me this type of asks because I enjoy them so much. I love to look into the details and try to put everything coherently together. Jimin and Jungkook have an unique and wonderful bond in which we don’t need to exaggerate or create things in order to find something extraordinary between them.

Admitting I Was Wrong

Modern sports punditry, as with everything else in the modern news cycle, exists in a 24 cycle where there is a constant need for more content. Often, this is fine because there are enough sporting events to talk about (there is almost always a sporting event happening which someone who likes sporting events will be happy to talk about), but sometimes there is a brief lull which still needs to be filled.

So you have pundits and presenters filling dead days with hours of inane chatter, predicting and repredicting the same things over and over again in an industrial-sized chucking-shit-at-the-wall machine.

If you run that machine for long enough eventually some things are going to stick (that's the whole point of the industrial-sized chucking-shit-at-the-wall machine), but at the same time there is an inordinate amount of stuff which doesn't. However, no one seems to care, because the cycle moves on at such a pace that by the time you've noticed one mistake another one comes along to take its place, and by the time you notice that mistake...

Its why Gary Neville can say Liverpool will win the league one week then flip-flop to Man City the next week. Its why politicians seem to be able to get away with similar flip-flopping on almost every major issue (and of course they are allowed to change their mind, but you get what I mean). There is no accountability for anything that anyone says because the content factory comes along to bury it under another mound of tasty soundbites and out of context ten second clips.

But I am here to change this, and change starts at home.

A few weeks ago, I predicted that Open, Trinity, Manchester and Imperial would make the semi-finals. Open were eliminated last week, but my prediction was already in the mud when UCL qualified a week before that. So I am here to acknowledge my fallibility as a pundit and all round University Challenge dogsbody.

I got it wrong, and that's okay. But you needed to know.

Before we start, you can watch the episode at this link (I've actually done this so quickly that I've beaten Cosmic Pumpkin to the punch, but you should be able to find the video on that channel, if not at that exact link), and I'm going to double down on my prediction by saying Manchester will take this.

Here's your first starter for ten.

Christ Church's avocado mascot has given birth to a smaller version of itself (which is what generally happens when something gives birth, I suppose), and one of these (probably the small one) influences the Manchester skipper to buzz in incorrectly on the opening starter, allowing Wotton to win the first points of the match.

There is another early buzz from Senehedheera, but this time he is right (no luck for mini avo this time round). A hat-trick of bonuses tied the game, and Grady gave them the lead with King Kong. A second neg from the Manchester captain, with an amusing guess of boogie-woogie (just because its a fun word, not because it was a stupid guess), gave Christ Church the opportunity to level the game, but they couldn't take it, and Senehedheera moved to 2/4 on the following starter to extend the Northerners lead.

Another from Senehedheera wins Manchester a bonus set on surnames of philosophers which can be found within other words. Agonisingly, they come up with Coelacanth and guess Kant, but the answer is Lacanth. Then on the next one the answer is Kant but they miss it. Mercifully they get the third, with John Locke.

Some more brilliance from Wotton gets Chirst Church going again, and Dean takes the next question too to bring them within 5 points. They would have tied it, but went Ella Fitzgerald rather than Billie Holiday on a question about Strange Fruit.

No matter, the chief avocado wrangler is back, and he gives them the lead after both sides drop the music starter. They don't get any of the music bonuses though, and Grady quickly snatches the lead back with gravitational waves.

I'm losing track of how many starters Wotton has got so shall we just say its five? Actually, its six now (Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, or Mecklenburg Pomdragon, as I frantically typed after hearing him say it once). He can't be stopped.

Lowe takes the second picture starter to put an end to his captain's dominance, not that his skipper will mind - their lead was up to 35 points.

To demonstrate just how fickle we pundits are, I had forgotten that at the start of this very post I predicted a strong Manchester win, but they'll need to pull their finger out if they harbour hopes of the semis. Kullmann and De Los Reyes White duly oblige, with back to back starters which give Manchester the lead.

Their little run has rattled Christ Church, and Dean apologises to her teammates after a premature buzz. A neg from Senehedheera follows hot on its tails, but no one picks it up, allowing him to take the replacement question with Lucien Freud.

Aggression on the buzzer continues with a neg from Wotton, but again no one from Manchester can capitalise and he makes up for it immediately, closing Christ Church to within 5 points.

There's only one question left. Whoever gets it wins.

As close a game as you can get, coming down to the last few words of the last starter. Christ Church's Dean says that she was buzzing at the same time as Grady, but he pipped her to the post. Fine margins.

And I guess I can claim some serious credit now, because I knew Manchester were going to win this, didn't I? My faith in them never wavered once, did it?

What a game, though. Well done to both teams, especially Wotton who very nearly dragged his team into the semis. I'll see you next time for the last quarter final (which I predict will be won by Trinity), but for now its goodnight.

Here, take these miscellaneous headcanons I have for if the seven main pets were human that I thought of at like 2am.

I hope you enjoy.

-Pepper's a smoker, and she does it more often when she's stressed out, causing the icky smell when she's nervous. She tries not to when Vinnie's around, because he has asthma. 

-As stated in the hc before, Vinnie has asthma. He has a bad habit of forgetting to use his inhaler(s), which has led to plenty of asthma attacks, usually caused by overexerting himself while dancing. Russell always carries an extra, emergency inhaler for him, and he keeps a "make sure Vinnie uses his inhaler" checkbox on his checklist.(and yes, he does call him every morning to remind him.) 

-Sunil likes to wear dresses, skirts, makeup, etc. He simply likes to feel pretty sometimes, and he's comfortable enough in his masculinity to do so without shame. Zoe absolutely loves to give him tips on outfits and makeup, and they've become super close because of it. 

-Russell has a super long playlist consisting of only folk music. He plays it when he does deep cleaning in his house. 

-Out of all the movies they've watched together, Vinnie and Sunil's favorite is 'Killer Klowns From Outer Space'. They can oftentimes be heard quoting the movie. ("ANOTHER DOOR!?") Vinnie's favorite Klown is Shorty, and Sunil's favorite is Rudy. They watch it every Halloween as tradition. 

-Minka is an absolute indestructible force in laser tag. Not even Russell's strategic plans are enough to defeat her. If they're playing in teams, everyone tries to convince her to be on their side, but if they're playing solo? Every single person is teaming up against her(they rarely succeed) 

-Vinnie has a few piercings; he has a labret, tongue, both nostrils, and multiple ear piercings (double helix and a conch on his left ear and an industrial on the right). His jewelry is mostly green, black and silver. Penny has a septum piercing, and she wears a lot of super cute jewelry on it, mostly clickers. Zoe has a navel piercing. Her favorite jewelry is silver with a baby blue gemstone in it. (This is definitely projection bc I have a lil bit of a piercing addiction bUT-) 

-Pepper has a playlist full of the most horrendous songs known to man. Half of them aren't even songs, they're just voice clips of some guy screaming with faint music in the background. After many times torturing the others with this, she's lost access to the AUX cord. 

-Yes, Penny does listen to upbeat, cute pop music a lot. But she's also a huge fan of hard rock and other similar genres. She's also capable of screaming, which shocked everyone during karaoke night, because she usually defaults to softer music out of fear of judgment. 

-Adding onto the hc above, I firmly believe that Minka, Vinnie and Sunil would also listen to similar ish music.(once I figure out specifics I'll elaborate further)

-Every year, they go to the local fair. Russell and Sunil spend a lot of time looking at the clothes and crafts at booths, Pepper spends too much money on fair games, Penny gets emotionally attached to every farm animal she sees, Zoe's probably flirting back and forth with some guy at one of the food stands, and both Minka and Vinnie have whiplash from being tossed around violently on some ride that should've been shut down for safety violations. It's absolutely chaotic, and they always have the best time.(I might eventually do a full headcanon post for this one, or even write a short fanfic. Depends on inspiration i guess) 

Zoe will video chat people in the middle of the night just to gossip or something, but no one's ever doing anything normal when they pick up. She's witnessed so much concerning and potentially illegal stuff while on these calls, but she's genuinely so unfazed at this point that it doesn't register as concerning anymore. Vinnie just burned his eyebrows off because he tried to bleach them? That's normal. Minka just stole a street sign for some abstract art project? Completely fine.

spoilers for the game Her Story. like I’m literally talking about the solution to the mystery here, don’t read this if you’re intending to play it

So I knew Hannah and Eve were two people going in. What I did not know was, uh—okay, a lot of people talking about it, tvtropes, even wikipedia, seemed to come away thinking it was “ambiguously” a case of two personalities rather than two people. Which, after actually playing it, flabbergasts me, because the points you’re likely to notice that might make you think “is this a different person played by the same actress?” are concrete, physical pieces of evidence. Like aside from multiple personalities being a trite and harmful trope, I think it would be difficult to fake an old tattoo after not having one the previous day. And the key evidence in the case is the police proving that she was in two places at once. I mean maybe I was more conditioned to accept the premise because it’s shared with a certain book/famous movie, but I’ll be honest: if ambiguity was Barlow’s intention (which again, I don’t think it was) it wasn’t conveyed successfully.

I kinda think people just didn’t like the solution to the mystery? So they’re coming up with something less outlandish that doesn’t actually work? TBF I was so-so on it. I mostly just liked the character of Eve enough that I didn’t care too much. Emily Short’s analysis of it as “gothic” rather than “forensic” won me over, though. Yeah, I guess it is operating in that space rather than a police procedural.

(Actually the ending ambiguity I’d really like to discuss, and why I was looking it up at all, was what happens to Hannah at the end. It sounds like she wasn’t arrested. Did Eve kill her? Did she run off and let Eve take the fall? Did they both agree that Eve should take over the Hannah identity, since her fingerprints wouldn’t match the crime? etc.)

I also wonder how many people actually saw the sixth interview with Hannah, because certain things people say, like “you can tell who is speaking by whether their hair is up or down” and some timeline stuff are disproven by that one. (Though I guess if you thought that was true you might just assume it was Eve?) Which, like, we also had trouble finding it and only got one clip by cheating with a line from the trailer. I think there’s one obvious keyword someone might search from it, but we didn’t watch most of it until we went through all the videos chronologically. Short and not a lot of monologuing/content.

Side note: It was funny when we realized you could just go through the videos in chronological order. I think this was intentional rather than a mistake—like, yeah, you can do this if you want. It’s the most time-consuming way to do it, and doesn’t have the “I’m a genius” factor of making a good database search that gets you a meaty video. But you can.

Jisung and Mark were revealed as SM Rookies at the same time. It's always a bit stark remembering that Jisung basically did things at the same pace as the rest of Baby Shinki, except he was 2-3 years younger than them, and it really puts into perspective how YOUNG he started.

Jisung mentioned this before, that he was so shy when he was a kid and that's why he was encouraged to try dancing.

Awww thank you!!! You're too kind!!! Unfortunately The Phandom on here is very cult of personality gatekeepers and years ago I pissed off the gatekeepers, who till this day swear they aren't gatekeepers. However the whole Phantom Italy experience just proved to me they are gatekeepers or try to be. None of them went to Italy, yet they were the first to post every single photo or video clip here on tumblr. Being involved in Phandom on other sites showed me where exactly they got that stuff, yet they act like they own it and control it on here.

Then later on and up till now I have the nerve to have nuanced political views and we all know you can't have those on the internet. And people in Phandom can't be seen hanging out with me while I have those because it means you agree with those things because that's how the world works. /sarcasm Though seriously I had friends on here get hate mail just because they were friends with me and they had to be like "Bonnet has been nothing but kind to me and has explained her stances to me" and yet they still harassed them.

Then the ultimate thing I did to piss some of them off was I jailbusted the London Post Changes "Love Never Dies" Boot. Several of the gatekeepers had but would never trade or sell it because the master of it marked it "not for trade" but then dissapeared from the trading scene. I spent a lot of time trying to track the master down to no avail. I then spent a lot of time going to various places and I finally tracked it down outside of these gatekeepers (I won't reveal how) but once I had it, I put it up for anyone and everyone to download. I was like it's a 10 year old boot nobody is going to get hurt. I got hate mail for it but I got way more love and thanks from people who wanted to see it.

And as my recent posts have showed I just got doxxed on another site for just advertising I was going to show this. Like IDK. And this doesn't even touch the drama that happened in my once popular Phantom Discord server. But those people involved will probably never even admit my Discord server was the place to be after the tumblr porn and nudity ban but I could bring screenshots if I wanted to.

My goal with my Italy boot is to do what I did with that Love Never Dies boot. As someone who got into boot trading, I know what happens with rare boots, traders hoard them and those are the ones people want to see and then never do. However because I have these idiots on that other site yelling copyright I'm going to hang low on it for a little while. Plus so far I'm the only person I've seen admitting to having a full boot And I know that must be really pissing off the gatekeepers. I'd be lying if I didn't admit pissing them off added joy to my making the boot.

He didn't have anyone to teach him how, so he loves seeing how other people do it so he can copy and take the bits he likes. He will order weird shit for his nest sometimes though. Beel - Yes, he watches food Tiktoks and then eats more than normal, so Lucifer bans him from it.

Levi - He spends so much time on Tiktok, I can't even say. He loves it, but it also triggers his envy when people have better cosplays than him or better anime collections and set ups. So, maybe it's best to limit him sometimes.

Asmo - Easily Devildom Tiktok famous. He loves the app and showing his adoring followers his beauty routines and sex toy collections makes him happy lol.

-WHY BTS'S "RUN" MUSIC VIDEO IS SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE-

Find the music video here. To new watchers I reccomend watching once without subtitles and once with!

Now, hopefully you've watched it atleast once to understand the rough idea. Before I start, if you are unfamiliar with the members I have created a quick guide image so it is easier for new watchers! (Please note these are their STAGE NAMES not their real names. In this post I will be using their stage names to refer to them)

The music video opens with a snippet from a different song called "Butterfly" and band member "V" leaning into a pool? To be 100% honest i'm not sure what he falls into but we can assume it's a pool of some sort. The music at this point is a more ethereal take of their song only using vocals and an echo effect. We then see RM on screen in his shipping container home.

-For those who don't know, "Run" is one of a few music videos that consist of a story line that has taken place from 2014 to present day and has many BTS fans theorising daily.

The logo for the album "The most beautiful moment in life part 2" shows up and the screen fades to black, signaling the end of this intro. Shortly after, the music starts to play and again, we see RM walking across the train tracks alone, this is most likely a call back to the "I need u" music video where all 7 boys are seen walking down the tracks together.

RM knocks on another shipping container and Jimin opens it for him. Here the watcher is bombarded with warm colours and a misty-looking atmosphere. 3 of the boys greet RM as they walk down the small hallway. This conveys a welcoming not just to RM but the watcher too. The next few cuts are the boys partying and messing about. These particular shots are messy and busy this is done to create the effect of perhaps urgency as in the story line as a whole there's a theme for staying young forever but knowing that it won't last.

A clip of V is then shown of him falling into water but because of the angle that he falls in, we can assume he was pushed. Jin is then pushed up against a wall and has an 'X' spray painted on him. For those who follow the story line, obviously this is big lore reveals ect but today I will be focusing on the cinematography and why the MV is so pretty however, to explain some things in the MV I will have to reference it a few times. We then cut of to V and RM together, spray painting a garage door. The police catch them and they start running. (How ironic). Not surprisingly, running in this music video is very common. The running could symbolise running away from responsibility and following the theme of "Young Forever" as RM and V are doing childish things such as vandalism even though they're adults in the story. V also takes a few seconds to mock the police, further linking to being childish.

We then switch to Jin finally finishing his house for cards on to be taken out by V. Again, this could link to their song house of cards which is about building up a relationship. V taking out the house of cards could symbolise that he broke them apart or could even link back to being childish.

The camera cuts to Jin eerily staring into the camera. This is called "breaking the fourth wall". Doing this gives an effect of awareness of the character and intrigues the watcher. Then we see V in the water before it cuts off to a clip of the 7 boys running. Then we get another clip of Jin staring into the camera. If we skip a few seconds, we see Jimin in the middle of a road by the entrance of a road cutoff screaming in anger. In this first chorus we see stuff starting to go downhill for the boys. Eg, V and RM getting caught, we also see J-Hope and Jimin in what looks to be a hospital ward. A beautiful transition takes place where J-Hope throws a pillow around Jimins face but then cuts off to all the boys having a wholesome pillow fight. We also see RM pick up a Butterfly Ace card, this nods to the song heard at the beginning of the music video.

After that, we see SUGA and JK fighting. Now it is believed that in this story line they are in a relationship together, making this fight scene even worse. The shots are fast paced and slightly out of focus to convey how fast paced it is. SUGA then throws a chair at a mirror which allows the song to cut off. Again, this references the storyline as everytime glass of some sort shatters, it signifies Jin has failed to fix things and he must start all over again. To support this we see the house of cards fall again representing the relationship of the 7 boys falling apart. We then see all the boys partying together as the camera zooms onto JK who is on the floor. It then hovers for a few seconds and then zooms out to see the rest of the boys gone.

Shortly after we see a wholesome moment of the boys in photobooth posing for pictures. Then the bridge of the song starts and J-Hope is seen falling down to his hospital bed. Then we get a zoom out clip fo the boys lying in a field. These series of clips shows how close the boys are a perfectly demonstrates their relationship together.

A cutscene of the boys in a tunnel takes place where they vandalise cars and mess about conveying practices of being youthful and not caring. Jin drives the truck as the boys run away.

Now throughout the whole music video a warm tone of colours has been used but as Jimin opens the door to a different room the colours are cool. It cuts back to Jimin where he is infront of the warm toned room. He then gets dragged into the bathtub and soaked in water as they all mess about together. The cool tones could represent being reserved however the scene itself tells a different story creating a juxtaposition. As the music video comes to an end, everything starts to work out for the boys. They seem to have fun, RM and V run away from the police, however we see that V is in a panicked state in the water and nothing is changing. The song ends and cuts off to the boys walking in a line but JK stops and looks into the camera. This could represent in the storyline when he was hit by a car. Finally we see V lift up from the water and the end credits play.

Overall, in my personal opinion (probably biased because Run is my favourite song) I believe Run is a gorgeous music video that depicts the hardships of being young as well as not wanting it to end. Being forever young is what so many people want and if you look close enough, I believe that this music video manages to create that nostalgic feeling for the watcher even though I haven't don't half the things in this music video. In other words it does an amazing job and making the watcher feel sorrow and miss the feeling of adrenaline. (I know I definitely did).

I came across this wonderful site - DailyMotion.com. Although I'm familiar with this website well but it wasn't the most popular of the three video websites at the time that video was first introduced - Youtube. Vimeo. Dailymotion. Here are some things to be on the lookout for when visiting Daily Motion. First of all it's full of live news broadcasts, and anything that isn't mainstream, C-Span kind of broadcasts, it all ends in DailyMotion. The majority of popular journalist work is displayed prominently on their homepage. This makes it seem as if they're trying to promote the political aspect. Since Periscope was shut down, and Twitter trying to displace live streams of the political I'm assuming they're trying to do the same. It seems that even their current slogan Dailymotion The home of videos that are important, is already pointing towards political issues. While my videos of hilarious cats are important but you'll also find stories about shootings from recent weeks, as well as other life-changing stuff that makes it seem as Daily is now a major news source for political issues. There are numerous shows and broadcasts that focus on sports. They're usually of poor quality video, yet nevertheless if you watch on your phone, it's good, and all the world's watching on mobile.. Video quality is either acceptable and so mobiles look great, or very good extremely perfect 4K HDR and it's too high for mobile, and needs a super awesome fresh TV that's size of dinner table just so you can enjoy all the information about the video on screen. However, sometimes I come across links that take me to Dailymotion pages. Dailymotion has episodes from India (Argentina), Korea, and many other countries. It's incredible how much content you can find on Dailymotion. You can search for it and enter your favourite show now! Big Brother Canada? You can look up the show on Google and discover over 300 episodes available to stream or watch on Dailymotion. In these situations, I go to this site again and download a few episodes onto my smartphone and watch them on my way to travel. The quality of the videos isn't always ideal, but it's great! around 10-11 minutes into the newest off topic episode (#325), trevor and a few other members of the AH crew (matt, joe, and ky) start talking about the transition to the new office and traveling in general, which led to trevor bringing up that the group at large were having a conversation earlier that day about “the schedule and how we come up with content.”

i thought it was an extremely engaging portion of the podcast. usually, i’d get a clip from the video version and sum it up as best as i can, but because it went on for a while, i needed to change how i format things this time around. what i’m going to do here is rewatch the discussion (since i watched it live first, and my memory isn’t too good) and put all the most interesting parts in a bullet point list with timestamps! everything within quotation marks is said verbatim, and everything else, especially in parentheses, is my personal take/quip or said in my own words :)

11:00- trevor: “without ahwu (rip 😔🙏), we don’t really have that vessel with which to speak to you all listening at home on what’s going on with achievement hunter, and like, the creative- and how we come up with the schedule and stuff, so i just wanted to take a little- be here on this show to talk about that, just so we can kinda forecast some of the maybe, changes that are coming up.”

11:24- trevor: “’cause right now, what we’ve done is: we’ve fallen very much into a strong, like, an old routine of like, every monday: this, every tuesday: that, every wednesday: that, and what that does, especially coming out of quarantine, we’re realizing, is that it really limits our creativity. there’s a lot of times where we’re like “oh, i really wanna do something, this thing, but like, oh, we have to do a gta, or we have to do...” like, there’s only so many slots in the schedule.”

11:47- trevor: “and so one thing i kinda wanna forecast to you guys in the audience, to break the fourth wall a little bit, is that we’re really trying to tear apart our schedule, and try to like, not remove consistency, but try to make more room for flexibility. when people have little passion projects that they wanna work on, opening up the doors to make that happen. i mean, that’s how red web, face jam, f**kface, you know, all those shows got off the ground in the first place, was just finding time to carve that out.”

12:15- trevor: “and so, you know, over these coming weeks, you might start to recognize that the schedule is going to feel a little different, and it’s going to be hard to kind of just say “here’s what the new schedule is” ‘cause we’re not going to be in a situation where every monday is this, every tuesday is that. you’re going to see some consistencies like gmod, still gonna fall on a similar day, challenge accepted is still gonna fall on a very similar day (woo!), but other than that, we’re trying to like, figure out series and takeover weeks, and like, series like raft that continue down certain columns of the schedule, and just like... i dunno! i just wanted to talk about that a little bit.”

after this, joe sums it up, saying that the schedule will be “just as consistent in regards to uploads, but that there will be more variables to it,” with trevor adding that it’ll be “more reflective of our passions and our creative efforts now, testing and trying more things, and putting more things out there, and to have more fun with what we’re doing, rather than feeling beholden to what we’ve always done, which can be a recipe for falling into a really high level of burnout. just doing the same thing over and over, there’s no room to iterate or change.”

trevor then adds that the reason he’s said all of this to both the audience and the other people at the table is because we’re eventually gonna recognize and see it, and the crew hopes that we’re along for the ride with them, and that we’ll see the benefits it provides to AH’s creativity and stuff like that.

after a non-serious, but passionate discussion about vanilla ice cream and condiments that i can’t even try to explain or summarize, around 17 minutes in, trevor brings up that one ready set show episode where he and jeremy dehydrate various foods, and then after that, trevor sees the live chat blow up with excitement after he mentioned ready set show (rip 😔🙏), and says that they’ll bring back those vibes in future content.

he doesn’t go into specifics, but ky brings up that she has a concept/idea for something involving her, BK, trevor, and jeremy, with BK having to decide if she teams up with ky (team friendly fire) or trevor (team b-treh, meant to be pronounced almost like the word “betray”). with that, joe was told by trevor via text that the two of them are team machete in reference to danny trejo (pronounced like treh-joe, with the J no longer being silent.) this was brought up in relation to them wanting to play some indie horror games while the rest of the crew was out filming sponsored content. if the game isn’t completed, “something happens.” what that something is seems undecided for now, but they’re considering bringing back the taze fist as a punishment (oh god). this part wasn’t as huge an announcement like the previous parts, but i thought it was funny enough to put in the post :P

here, they just trail off to other stuff unrelated to content creation and scheduling (i guess this is why it’s called “off topic”), but they then come back to it around 44 minutes in (wow!), with trevor saying that he likes the idea of AH getting out of their own way, and notes that the live chat joked that we would still get minecraft, gta v, and gmod weekly. trevor then points out gta in particular and says “we’re not closing the door on it” and that they’re planning “a big hurrah, last kind of big splash weekly gta idea,” and they’re seeing if they can “really pull it together before AH live happens (the first day of the tour is march 31st, by the way), because we want to make sure we put a lot effort into that.” after that, they’re planning on letting gta rest as a weekly series (again, not stopping gta altogether).

trevor states it’s because “honestly speaking, when it comes to gta, we’re just really exhausted. it’s the same game with very little added to it over the years, and there’s only so much we can do before we feel personally that we’ve tapped the limits of the game, and before you guys as the audience kinda get tapped with it as content to watch. and so, we’re trying to be more self-aware with that kind of stuff, and we’re going to try to broadcast more of any shifts we make, ‘cause like, i feel like that’s something that, during quarantine, we kinda got bad about, where we just kinda lock in and fall back on streaming and what we’re doing so we can stay alive, and we’re very grateful to be able to do that during quarantine.” now that they’ve gone back to the office, they’re currently waiting on BK to start moving from new york to texas within the next couple of weeks.

right after this, with how excited trevor says he is, he also reiterates that “we’re getting out of our own way, we’re trying new shit, we have a lot of ideas like, in development, and right now, it’s just like “how do you start developing new things when you got so many of the old things in the way?” and so... you have to start somewhere, right? you don’t wanna start to like, overwork yourself, so it’s a snowball effect.”

finally, he asks the audience to keep them (the AH crew) informed as we watch their content, and to tell them how we feel about it, and just engage with the content in general with supporting the videos we like. ky points out how happy she and BK are with the very positive responses on their team friendly fire videos, and she believes that’s what trevor’s point is: anytime her and BK are together, they’re “just vibing, just enjoying each other’s company, and it’s just fun,” bringing up the freddi fish video they recorded in particular.

joe, sharing his perspective as the newest AH member, says that he (and the group as a whole) have thrown around many ideas that couldn’t come to fruition because of their commitment to other existing series that AH has done for years, with matt agreeing, saying that it’s been like that for a long time, having ideas that they can’t do. trevor says the newer members have been challenging the old guard with, alongside contributing with new ideas, asking questions and revitalizing the group, and that “being in the office has exacerbated all of that excitement.” they’re planning on balancing what the audience is watching with what the group wants to do by trying new things as they go.

last thing: there’s a big gta idea ky mentioned that she, lindsay, and matt are working on; it’s going to be, in ky’s words, “a femme heist.” it was originally going to come out this march since it’s women’s history month, but they haven’t had the time to do it because of Ye Olde Schedule. this marks the return of heists in gta v! (woo!!!!!) ky also says this heist will bring back a lot of old faves from the fake ah crew, and stopped herself from giving out more information, but she says (and shows lol) how excited she is!
