I'm mentally so exhausted. I had a flu only some four weeks ago and I feel like I'm getting ill again, and I'm not ready for it this soon. It makes me think. Has my constant worrying about the past and future, and eating unhealthy food because of anxiety and sugar addiction ruined my immune system?

Coleridge's accent:
His dialect was described by Joseph Farington in 1804 in a letter as "what I should call broad Devonshire, for a gentleman."
Carlyle dwelt specifically on the was he would pronounce specific words, saying in his The Life of Richard Sterling (granted, this is a work of fiction, but Coleridge appears in it and Carlyle had spent time around Coleridge by then, so unless he was just flat out lying for some reason I trust his depiction) that Coleridge "...sang and snuffled [the words object and subject] into 'om-m-mject' and "sum-m-mject...'" which might have bled over into other words. Carlyle also noted that Coleridge would pronounce the L in words such as 'could,' 'talk,' and 'would.'
This is kind of just speculation based on just various regional accents, but Coleridge was born in Ottery St Mary, which is in (east) Devon, he lived in London for long periods, and he was in Grasmere in the Lake District for a long time, so his accent was probably very influenced by those places. Also, he grew up vaguely middle class, drifting between upper and lower middle class, which would have further influenced how he talked. Granted, accents change over time, but this is close enough.
This is more very specific, but apparently he would pronouce his name something like "Cauldridge" but was really inconsistent with it. He did rhyme it with 'scholarage' at least once so that's probably a general idea of how he said it.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
