childhood friend just called me "basically an honorary jew at this point" i love her
#anna truly is the blueprint. the jewprint if you will#im not at all observant and haven't been to church since i was 8 but i was baptized christian#im just a christian whose friends and family just happen to be overwhelmingly jewish#my uncle and cousin. my childhood best friend (multiple). every favorite teacher or good friend ive had just turns out to be jewish#i went to a jewish preschool and a jewish girl scout troop and in anna's words 'have been to like everything' holiday wise#like shabbat is permanently intermingled with my childhood memory of a sleepover. bc i would go to anna's on fridays and spend the night#ive been to passover w like 3 different families#i would feel very strange about converting because i personally just cannot find it in me to believe in god#like it fundamentally makes no sense to me#(oh yeah i did choir for 3 years in a synagogue. just remembered that one.)#(not like with a choir in services we just used the building.)#and i have been to. at least 3 bar and bat mitzvahs i think#but yeah anyways i would just feel weird about converting. even though i know a lot about and have a lot of love for the jewish community#because i saw so much love and respect for god and believing in one true god growing up. and i dont have that#it makes me pretty sad and sometimes i wish i did but i just can't really believe in god#and converting without having that at the core of it just feels. disrespectful#long story short not jewish but i do believe in their beliefs#.txt#coreyposting

the closer i get to having to lay down in bed the worse and worse my mental state gets </3 even though i would love being asleep and resting were it not for the horrors.
#teddyposting#id love to sleep on a couch or a chair or maybe even the floor#anything but a bed. man#i hate having to sleep. because it starts to feel like having survived is a punishment for me in and of itself somehow#to where everything is painful and all things come up that i wish would stay down and away#and i hate having to force myself to lay down and rest because it is very cruel#i can never convince myself well enough that it is safe and okay. and so it ends up being#making myself go into the worst thing ever. in the feel of it#and then i have my nightmares and wake up feeling exhausted still.#and that is nearly every night since before preschool.#i do not think i will ever have restful nights. it has been stolen and cannot be recovered i am pretty sure#sometime tomorrow when the sun is up and there are lovely things and all of this is back down and away#i will not feel that to survive is a punishment. but right now it is so terrible#and so all-consuming. it drowns out everything else and cannot be soothed#and i have to lay down to rest anyhow. even though i am not the one who did wrong i am the one to carry it#i am the one who carries the shame of it the burden of it the othering of it made into something and not someone#the fear and the restlessness and the pain of it. in every way#even though i am not the one who did wrong. i am the one to carry it and i am the one to be thrown#maybe what is the worst thing is how he had not been lying to me. even though#that is the kind of thing any predator would say to try to convince you not to tell to keep his secret. for my life#it was not a lie: nobody was on my side. nobody is still. my family hated me for it. hates me still.#i was left abandoned for it. i have no good family. he was not lying at all#csa ment#to survive is not a punishment. it only feels that way

there are a lot of posts out there that are positive and healthy coping mechanisms for handling the holidays. this is not one of them :)
i think there's like. going to be times in your life you will be stuck in a social situation that you cannot escape from gracefully. i do not know why the internet doesn't believe these times exist. it's not always just that your physical safety is at risk - sometimes it's legit like "i just don't currently have the energy or time to put in the effort of responding to this." sometimes it's a coworker you hate so much. sometimes it's just like, fine, you know? like you know you can handle your aunt when she's cheerily horrible, but if you actually set a boundary around her, it's going to be weeks of fallout with your father.
i don't know why people think the answer is always just "cut them out!" or "don't let them get away with that!" because ... the real world is tricky and complicated. i think kind of a lot of us have an internal "radiation poisoning" meter for certain people. like - i'm talking about the ones who are absolutely giving you gradual ick damage. like, you can handle them, but you'll be exhausted.
and yes. you absolutely should listen to your therapist and the good posts about handling others and set good boundaries and take care of yourself. prioritize peace.
HOWEVER :) ...... since im often in a situation with a Gradual Sense of Ick person i cannot just "cut out" of my life (without losing someone else precious to me) - i have sort of developed the most. maladaptive form of mischief possible. because like, if i'm going to have to listen to this shit again, i like to have a little bit of private fun with it.
now! again, i am physically safe, just mentally drained by this man. you should only do this with people you are not in danger with. which leads me to my suggestions for when your Unfortunate Acquaintance shows up and says oh everyone pay attention to me.
my favorite word is "maybe!" said as brightly and happily as possible. whenever the Horrible Person starts in on a topic you do not want to go further with, particularly if they make a claim that you know to be inaccurate, do not respond to it. you and i have both tried to actually argue with this person, and it hasn't gone well, because this person just wants the drama of an argument. however, "maybe!" gives them literally nothing to go on. it is incredibly disarming. they are used to people having some response. they know they can't prove what they're saying, and maybe! treats them like the child they are. it dismisses them in the politest way possible.
i like to say maybe! and then, in their stunned silence, immediately change the subject. this is because i have adhd and i will have something unrelated to talk about, but if you can't think of topics fast enough, i recommend just pointing to something and saying, "isn't that lovely?" because fuck you let's bring in some positivity.
by the way. that second trick - of pointing to something and stating an opinion about it? - that just works on its own, like, 70% of the time. i picked it up from teaching preschoolers. it's an intentional "redirect". it stops children crying and it also stops grown adults from finishing their explanation on why women belong in kitchens. dual wielding!
keep it silly for yourself. i absolutely do not care if people think i'm fucking stupid (it's more fun if they do) and as a result i will purposefully misunderstand things just to see how long it takes them to realize i've completely removed them from the subject at hand. when they say "women aren't funny" i get to be like. "which women." "all women." "all women in america?" "no in the world." "like the mole people? the people in the world?" "what? no. like, alive." "oh are we not counting the mole people?" "what the fuck are you talking about." "you don't believe in the mole people?"
similarly, i play a personal game called "one up me." my Evil Acquaintance literally knows this game exists (my family & friends caught onto it and now also play it) and it always fucking gets him. i don't know why. you have to be willing to be a little free-spirited on this one, though. the trick is that when they make one of those horrible little bigoted or annoying comments they are always making, you need to go one unit weirder. not more intense, mind you - just more weird. "you don't look good in that dress." "yeah, actually, my other dress was covered in squid ink due to a mishap at the soup store." "you shouldn't wear such revealing clothes." "wait, what? oh shit. sorry, your son tears off strips when no one is looking and eats them. i swear it was longer before we left the building."
the point of "one up me" is to completely upend this person's narrative. we both know this person likes setting up situations where you cannot "win" and then they really like telling other people how badly you handled it. in a usual situation, if you respond "please don't say something that rude", you're a bitch. but if you let it happen, you're letting yourself be debased. they are not usually expecting door number three: unflappably odd. because what are they going to say when they're telling everyone how badly you behaved? "she said my son eats her dresses" ".... okay?"
if you can, form an allyship with someone whomst you can tagteam with. where they can pick up on your weird "soup store" story and run with it.
the following phrase is amazing and can be deployed for any situation: "oh, be nice :) it's the holidays!" i do not know why this works as often as it does. i'll say it for the most random shit. i think this is bc most of the time these people know they're being impolite, they just like to fight.
godbless. when in doubt, remember that you could always start stealing their pens.
the whole point of this is - if you can't escape. maybe see how long you can just be. like. a horrible little menace.

synopsis: Satoru Gojo gets emotional witnessing his child go to her first day of preschool contents: tooth-rotting, extremely sweet fluff.
a/n: here's the long over-due fluff that I promised you guys!
Tumblr media
"Satoru Gojo, why are you crying?"
"Shut up!! I'm not crying it's just..,.."
You turn to Gojo who is watching their daughter run towards her school entrance, literal tears pooling up in his beautiful aquamarine eyes.
"She's growing up so fast."
"I know...."
Tangling your fingers with his, you wave towards your daughter as she turns back to give you one more wave.
It was her first day of pre-school and gojo was getting a bit emotional......
Actually, he was getting really emotional.
"I feel like its only been a month since we saw her first steps...."
"I know, i know, love. Time flies, huh? Soon she's gonna be a teenage girl with boyfriends and girlfriends, go through the angsty 'everyone hates me' phase and grow up."
Sniffing and wiping away the final tear, he waved back to their daughter, watching as she disappeared behind a door, and he turned to you with a small scowl.
"She better not get into a relationship. I'll kick their asses-"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, you protective lunk."
"How dare you!"
Shaking your head with a small smile, you turn around to head to the car, with Gojo pausing so that you can hold onto his hand, swinging your hands together like the teenage years.
"We'll have to get used to our child growing up, 'toru. You know that time goes by faster than you think. We can't start over and make another child."
"who says?"
You roll your eyes stopping in front of the car to aim him with a deadly look.
But he didn't seem to be phased, and he stared at you with his beautiful blue eyes, a smirk crawling up his face and a husky undertone entered his voice.
"since our child is at pre-school, we'll have a lot of time together, am I right~?"
"Shut up before i drive this car and leave you here to rot with the pre-school children."
"But think about ittt!! It would be fu-"
"For you!! But you're not the one getting pregnant!!!"
"Please y/n!!! Just think about it!!"
You did think about it.
And two years later, another gojo joined the family.

Time moves faster since Francesca arrived, squalling and twisting her way from her mother as Frankie looked on in terrified fascination. Since her birth, he’s barely had a second to breathe. He thinks he wouldn’t mind the world moving so fast if the price of it was anything but her getting older at exponential speeds.
It feels like yesterday she was in diapers, and now she walks and talks and has her own opinions. Wherever she got this big brain of hers hadn’t come from him, of that he was sure. Now she’s old enough to notice; to be affected by his shitty moods or arguments with her mother or even when he’s late to pick her up.
This year, though, there’s you.
You are a complication he couldn’t have foreseen in his wildest fucking dreams, but you’re here, and he’s tried his best for months not to let his feelings affect you or Franny.
None of it’s your fault, of course; you’ve done nothing but be professional and caring and kind toward his daughter, and it makes this distant asshole act of his even more difficult.
And goddamn, the holidays do not help.
It’s his own goddamn fault he hired someone he was attracted to the second you came into his life. He’s tortured himself with this crush for months now; this totally inappropriate crush that haunts his every waking moment, despite his best attempts at distancing himself.
Frankie had been reluctant to get a nanny. Nannies were for wealthy families with four kids and vacation homes, not single fathers in two bedroom apartments and a preschooler.
It was easier when she was in daycare—he could drop her off there in the morning and pick her up at six, but preschool threw the whole damn thing off. Preschool ends at noon, and he couldn’t leave work every day to go get her. He didn’t want to ask Franny’s mother for help, too afraid she might use that as some kind of evidence that he wasn’t stable enough for 50/50 custody.
He didn’t think she’d be that vindictive, but it was a possibility. So he’d sucked it up and asked around, taking your number from Franny’s very enthusiastic preschool teacher who said you’d worked for a number of families in her classes.
He was, of course, fucked the moment you’d walked into that coffee shop around the corner from his building, smiling brightly as you sat down and stuck your hand out to introduce yourself. You’d worn a suit, clearly tailored to your form, and handed him what he was sure was an impressive resume from a leather portfolio. He’s more than ashamed to say that he’d barely glanced at it, hiring you just a few minutes later.
“Parents usually want to run a background check first,” you’d said, a little alarmed.
“Oh, uh—it’s okay. Franny’s teacher told me how highly recommended you are by all the parents from her class. The ones you worked for,” he’d said, tongue twisting over every word, but praying he’d covered his blunder. “And I need someone soon.”
“If you insist, Mr. Morales,” you’d said. “But I should meet her first.”
With that, he’d completely agreed.
Tumblr media
He tried to stay as cool and calm and professional as you were, giving himself a stern talking to in his truck on the way home from work, and it took him all of three fucking days to cave.
You greeted him at the door on your third day, and he wondered if that was a normal part of having a nanny. It felt wrong, being ushered into his own home, but he’d liked seeing you there looking so soft and comfortable with Franny.
“Pick up went great, she knew exactly where to go. Miss Nicole and I are friends, obviously, so she’d have gotten her to me anyway. We ate all our veggies at lunch—”
He liked the way you said “we” instead of “she,” but he’d be damned if he could explain why.
In the middle of your report, you swooped down to pick Franny up and away from her puzzle to hand her off to Frankie, whose arrival she was wholly uninterested in. It wasn’t the first time you’d done it—you said it made for a good transition; a signal to her that the day was over and it was Daddy’s time with her now.
Frankie’d been working on his impulse control over the last few years, but all that progress seemed to fly out of the window the moment the v-neck of your t-shirt gaped just enough to see a lacy black bra. He bit the tip of his tongue just to keep himself from groaning.
“Daddy!” Franny admonished, reaching for him from your arms. “You not listening!”
“I’m sorry, baby, I’m a little tired. What’d I miss?”
You shrugged, and he kept his eyes firmly on your face. “She’s got some sniffles,” you said. “I didn’t wanna give her anything for it without you here, but I thought you might wanna keep an eye on it.”
He nodded, taking in the rest of what you had to say as you gathered your things to go home. “I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to start dinner, but I can certainly do that going forward,” you’d said, and his mouth had gone dry as he imagined you in his kitchen cooking for him.
For Franny, he had to remind himself.
“I…sure, I mean, you can—uh, I don’t usually plan ahead?” He stuttered, too focused on not choking on his own spit.
“No problem. I’m happy to do meal plans for you two,” you said. Does he pay you enough to do meal plans? “Just let me know.”
You were on your way out the door when he found his voice.
“Did you have, um—how was your day?” He asked. You stopped and turned back, a shy smile on your lips.
“It was really good, Mr. Morales. Franny’s a good kid. Thank you for asking,” you said. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
He watched you walk out, eyes glued the sway of your hips.
Tumblr media
During your second week, a heat wave hit. Franny was miserable stuck inside, all the excessive heat warnings making it too dangerous to play at the park after lunch. Even the balcony wasn’t shaded enough, and you had to bring her inside after twenty minutes.
“She’s been a handful,” you told him that Friday. “But that’s hardly her fault. She’s just restless.”
He could tell you were tired, though, and he worried you’d decide not to come back in two weeks when Franny came back from her mom’s.
It was so hot outside it crept into the apartment despite the central air, and your shirt clung to you, damp with sweat.
He wanted to do something for you.
“Do you like ice cream?” He asked, taking off his cap and running his fingers through his damp hair as he watched you microwave Franny’s dinner.
“Sure. Why?”
“I thought—if you’re not busy—after she eats, maybe we could get ice cream?”
You crossed your arms and grinned at him. “Is this some kind of bribe?”
“Not a bribe,” he said. “I…just want to take you for ice cream.”
“Ice cream?” Franny’s voice came from the living room, and you laughed.
“What you think, mija?” Frankie asked. “We all get some ice cream after you have your dinner?”
“Yes!” She exclaimed, clapping her hands.
“Guess that settles it,” you giggled. “Come eat your dinner, Franny.”
“Er—you don’t have plans, right? No boyfriend I’m keeping you from?” Frankie asked, settling her into her booster seat.
“Not these days. My social calendar is pretty dry lately. Ice cream sounds good. I won’t even charge you for my time,” you grinned, and Frankie’s heart thudded in his chest.
No boyfriend.
The ice cream shop was just around the corner, right next to the coffee place he’d interviewed you, but he almost regretted walking there in the goddamn heat. The air conditioner was on full blast, and he had to force himself to look away from your now-stiff nipples.
Franny chattered about something he couldn’t pay attention to and you entertained her in between slurps of your ice cream cone. The outside heat infiltrated the small shop every time the door opened, despite the frigid air conditioning, and the vanilla ice cream slid between your fingers.
Frankie watched your tongue dance across your knuckles, not wanting to waste your treat. He couldn’t help but imagine what else you might lick up so enthusiastically, regardless of how fucking wrong it was.
All you were doing was eating. He shouldn’t have been so fucking turned on by something so mundane. Not here in public, not by the woman who cares for his daughter.
The ice cream kept melting, messy and sticky and dripping down your fist, and he gritted his teeth, nodding every now and then to the words coming from your gorgeous, hot mouth.
Deep breaths, in and out, it’s fine, just eat your ice cream—
Something crunched in his fist, and he looked down to see his stretched-white knuckles covered in chocolate ice cream, his grip so tight he’d crushed the cone. Franny laughed, and you laughed, and he laughed, too, praying his scarlet cheeks weren’t too noticeable as you grabbed napkins and cleaned the mess before he could even react.
He loved that, though, the way you take charge; how you know exactly what to do.
“Hold still,” you ordered. He obeyed, watching you throw the crushed cone away and wiping his hand down with a wet wipe from your bag. You dried him off with a napkin, running your fingers over his skin to make sure you got everything.
“Thank you,” he murmured and you smiled, squeezing his hand and lingering there for a second longer than he expected. Electricity jolted through his body at your caress, and on the way back, he racked his brain for reasons for you to stay.
He found none, of course, other than the real reason—to make you come as many times as you’ll let him—so he let you go home.
Later that night, when Franny was asleep and he found a second of peace in the shower, he braced the tile wall with his forearm and wrapped his hand around his aching cock, pumping himself as he thought of you and the ice cream dripping down your knuckles and your stiff nipples and the way your soft hands felt on his. He let himself imagine your taste, what you’d sound like as he devoured you, what your hot, wet pussy would feel like on his face, around his cock—anywhere, he wasn’t picky.
He hadn’t wanted anyone like this in years. Not that he hadn’t had flings or attempts at relationships since he and his ex split, but his desire wasn’t like this. Frankie closed his eyes and imagined what your tits looked like under your shirt, if you knew he could see how cold you were. He choked back a loud groan at the thought of you wearing some thin little bra on purpose, just to fuck with him, just to see if he’d get on his knees for you.
Frankie squeezed the base of his cock, desperate to draw this little fantasy out a bit longer, but his body betrayed him. He came too quickly, breathing hard and murmuring your name as his spend spattered against the tile. As he pushed himself off the wall, the guilt washed over him while he watched his come circle the shower drain.
What the fuck was he supposed to do?
Tumblr media
Two weeks later, he’d  told himself he was over it. Franny was with her mom, so he hadn’t seen you, and it was just a fluke—you were beautiful and new, and he just got overexcited. It wouldn’t be a problem now that he’d gotten over his little crush.
Sure, the first week consisted of him jerking off all over his apartment when he looked too long at something you touched or sat on, or when he scrolled your socials for a while, or thought about you, but that didn’t mean anything. Guys jerk off a lot anyway.
The second week he slowed down, only touching himself once while he listened to a voicemail you left about needing to leave a few minutes early one day next week. And then again after he called you to let you know that was fine.
He was starting to wonder if he could run out of come. He hadn’t masturbated this much since he first discovered he could do it.
On the Monday you returned, he was much too tired from work to be nervous about seeing you again on the way home. It wasn’t until he pushed open his front door to find you in the kitchen, stirring something in a pot, barefoot in a pair of leggings with Franny on your hip, that he remembered how fucking out of his mind you made him. His mouth watered.
You turned around at the sound of the front door, setting Franny down so she could run to him. He greeted the both of you, your bright smile disarming him as he scooped Franny up.
All that progress he told himself he made on his stupid, ridiculous crush evaporated
“Hi, Mr. Morales,” you said, tapping the side of some spice jar into the pot.
“Frankie,” he said, against his better judgment. “Just Frankie is fine.”
“Frankie,” you said, testing the word in your mouth. “I like that name, you know.”
“Thank you,” he said, fighting the strong urge to wrap his arms around your waist and kiss the back of your neck.
You declined his invitation to stay and eat the dinner you’d made.
“I have a date,” you explained, and something ugly clawed at the inside of his chest. He ignored it because you were allowed to have dates, and he couldn’t say a fucking word about that.
Franny calls him out the moment you leave.
“You love herrrrr,” she said from her booster seat, artfully arranging the broccoli on her plate. He stared at her, dumbfounded.
“And what’s that supposed to mean, little miss?” He asked. She looks up at him, exasperated, as though it’s a hassle to repeat herself.
“She’s pretty, so she’s the princess,” she said. “And you supposed to love the princess.”
Frankie laughs, always impressed with the perception of his three-and-a-half-year-old. “All right,” he says. “Eat your broccoli, mija, it’s almost bath time.”
She was not as excited about that.
“Do you need me Monday?” You asked him Friday evening. “It’s Labor Day, so—”
“Oh! I guess it is, isn’t it?” Frankie laughed, suddenly pleased about his three-day weekend, as if he hadn’t known about it before. That quickly turned to concern for you, though, because that certainly meant your pay would be short, and Frankie knew all too well what that was like. “Technically, no. Do you have plans?”
“No,” you sighed. “Just hoping I can pick up a shift at my other job.”
“You have another job?” He asked, but it seemed silly as soon as he said it.
“Well, of course,” she grinned. “You pay well, Frankie, but there’s two whole weeks I gotta supplement.”
“What’s your other job?” He asked.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” You winked, and God, were you flirting with him?
You were flirting with him.
“What if, uh—we’re going to the lake with some of my friends. What if you come with us and watch after Franny, and I’ll pay you double for hazard pay.”
You raised your eyebrows. “What’s the hazard pay for?” You asked.
“Putting up with my idiot friends,” he said, and you laughed. He really loved making you laugh.
You chewed your lip, thinking it over as you put your shoes on. He told himself it would be a big help to have someone to help with Franny, and ignored the fact that she had three overprotective uncles with plenty of experience reining her in.
In the end you agreed, and he was mostly successful at keeping himself from seeming too excited about having you with him at the lake where he could, maybe, get to know you a little better.
And it all went well. It went beautifully. The guys loved you, he learned where you went to school, where you grew up, how you got into nannying, what your second job was.
He learned that he was your favorite client, and you weren’t just flattering him. He wasn’t as stuffy as the others, you told him, which was nice. He made you feel less anxious.
His chest warmed at that—he wanted you to feel comfortable.
But then there was the fucking sunscreen.
He forgot all about it, of course, but you let them use yours. You slathered yourself in it on the way there, some fancy organic SPF 100 shit that smells fucking heavenly, adding a second coat to Franny halfway there and asking him, so politely, to put it on your back when the three of you arrived.
Your skin was so soft—he felt like such a fucking creep as he lingered over the base of your neck, stroking you with his thumb and squeezing your shoulder when he’d finished. You were so beautiful that day—you always were, of course, but in the sun, splashing around the lake with his friends and his baby, it felt right.
Like you were supposed to be there; like you should have been there all along.
He dropped you off that evening and you kissed his cheek, and he grinned like an idiot all the way home. He tried to tell himself he was imagining things, but what if he wasn’t?
What if you liked him?
For the rest of the week his truck smelled like that sunscreen. He’d get to work, completely unable to concentrate and tucking a boner into his waistband, contemplating asking you where you’d bought it just so he could get some and jack off with it.
He was losing it over you.
This was bad. It was bad.
He saw how much Franny loved you and how much you loved Franny, and he had to figure something out. What if he made you uncomfortable enough that you left? Even if you were friendly, even a little flirty, what if he crossed a line? A month and a half in, he couldn’t lose you.
That Friday, when he got home and found you making Franny eat carrots—she’d never eaten carrots before—he made himself put a stop to it before he did something completely stupid.
“Frankie!” You called from the little breakfast table. “Did you have a good day at work?”
“Yeah, uh, can we talk? Over here?” He motioned to a further corner of the living room, away from Franny’s ears.
“Everything okay?” You asked, stretching your arms over your head. He almost lost his way then.
“Fine, fine. Look, uh, I think—” He cleared his throat. Why was he so fucking nervous? He’d killed people; how was giving the babysitter instructions so difficult? “I was thinking, we maybe should go back to some less informal interaction. I’d like for you to call me Mr. Morales from now on, please, and we should probably not be so…casual.”
Hurt ghosted over your features, confusion following them for the briefest second. Your posture changed; you stood straighter, your arms down by your sides as you pulled your shirt to cover yourself more.
He wasn’t expecting that.
“Oh! Sure,” you said, swallowing harshly.
“It’s nothing—”
“Personal. I understand. No problem at all, Mr. Morales,” you said, looking away from him as you gathered your bags. “I should probably get going then. I’ll see you Monday, sir. Bye, Franny!”
You scurried out of the door like you couldn’t leave fast enough, and he stood there as Franny chomped on her carrots, feeling like the biggest asshole in the world.

This wall he’d put up is the best thing for his daughter, though, and you’d taken it in stride. He counts himself lucky—thinking with his dick could’ve led to him hiring someone much less professional. But not you. Your recommendations hadn’t been so glowing for no reason.
You always look nervous when he comes home now, though, like you’re waiting for him to find something to be upset about. It weighs on him sometimes—you’d told him he made you feel comfortable, less anxious, and he’d pulled the proverbial rug out from under you just a few days later.
But it’s right. Overall, it’s the right thing to do.
It doesn’t mean he’s over you, though, and this current situation he’s found himself in might be the death of him. Or your job. Maybe both.
The logistics of equal custody can get a little tricky around the holidays. Franny’s with her mom this year for Christmas, and Frankie’s leaving early to visit with some family. His flight leaves at six in the morning, and his ex couldn’t get the day off.
It was like a word problem on a standardized test, and he’d been bad at those in school.
You’d come up with the solution on your own—you’ll just stay the night and through the next day until her mother gets off work, and that way he gets to spend as much time with Franny as he can before she leaves for a week longer than usual.
It makes sense.
He’s behaved himself for months now, but here you are in his apartment, having a mini-Christmas with Franny. You’d pulled him aside when you arrived, looking more nervous than he’d ever seen you—he thought you were about to tell him you were quitting after this.
“I just wanted to check and make sure before I give it to her, but I got Franny a present. It’s nothing big or noisy, I promise,” you assure him. “But would that be okay, Mr. Morales? I didn’t wanna cross any lines.”
You take better care of his kid than he does, and he’s made you feel like you can’t even get her a Christmas present. He wonders if that was the norm in the other families you worked for, the ones you’d told him that day at the lake that it was nice to have a break from.
“Of course it’s fine,” he says softly. “She’ll love that. Thank you.”
You give him a sort of lop-sided smile as you open your bag and pull out a neatly wrapped box with a big silver bow on top.
Franny squeals over her early present—a pink camera with a unicorn on the front, small enough for her little hands to hold and simple enough for her to figure out how to use within a few minutes. She runs around the apartment for a long while until Frankie tells her it’s time for dinner. At the table, she takes several pictures of her macaroni and cheese, of him, of you making silly faces.
He didn’t even know Franny liked taking pictures so much.
“How’d you know she wanted that?” He asks later as you empty the dishwasher.
“Oh, she’s always stealing my phone and using the camera. I keep finding pictures of Barbie dolls and tea parties. I thought she might want one of her own,” you say. “And I won’t panic about my missing phone, like, five times a day.”
“That little thief,” he says, and you laugh.
“She’s just curious. Much better than my last charge, who flushed my phone down the toilet twice.”
Frankie’s mouth falls open, aghast. “On purpose?”
“On purpose,” you smile. “Franny’s been a breeze.”
Frankie leans against the kitchen island, and when you turn around you’re dangerously close to him. He should move, he thinks, get away from you, but the lights from the Christmas tree are dancing in your eyes.
You clear your throat. “Should we make some cookies? Franny was asking earlier.”
Frankie clicks his tongue, looking at the refrigerator. “I don’t know if I even have cookie dough.”
“I can make cookie dough,” you say, standing on your toes to rifle through the cabinets. “Bet you have everything in here.” He takes you in like this, greedy for you as your ass jiggles every time you jump a little to grab something else you need. A sliver of skin shows between your jeans and top, and his hands twitch as he tries to keep himself from curling a finger through your belt loop and pulling you against him.
“Butter, sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, hmmm…oh! An egg. Are these eggs good?” You ask over your shoulder, and he pulls his gaze from your ass.
“Should be,” he says, the back of his neck burning like he’d been caught ogling you. “Made eggs this morning.”
What the fuck is wrong with him?
Franny sidles up next to him, peering at you with interest. “What you doing, Daddy?” She asks.
“We’re making some cookies,” he says. “You want some?”
“Yes, please!” She says, snapping another picture and toddling off to the living room to take pictures of the TV screen.
You pull out a mixing bowl and a cookie sheet, setting them gently on the little island. “Hand me the measuring cups,” you order, and he does without a second thought.
“And the flour?”
“Yes ma’am,” he says.
He watches you work, waiting for any instructions you might give. It all feels so natural, slipping into this rhythm with you, and his cock stirs every time you nod at him with approval. You’re more relaxed than you’ve ever been around him.
Everything you do turns him on, and it’s a fucking nightmare he doens’t want to wake up from. By the time you get the cookies in the oven, you’re covered in flour and the kitchen’s a mess again. He catches you before you start cleaning up, insisting you go take a shower and let him do it.
“It’s the least I can do,” he says.
“Thanks, Fran—um, Mr. Morales,” you say, and his heart thuds at the slip up. You slip away before he can change his mind again and tell you to disregard what he’d said before, call him Frankie, or Frank, or Francisco, call him whatever the fuck you want to call him.
He almost chokes when you walk out in a pair of sleep shorts and a tank top, a fluffy robe thrown over your shoulders. He takes a deep breath, his attention now on making sure Franny doesn’t try to eat every cookie on the plate.
They’re amazing—obviously they are, because you made them, and everything you do is amazing, and he doesn’t know how much longer he can go without telling you that maybe he doesn’t just have a crush, maybe he isn’t just a pervert, maybe he just really, really, really fucking likes you.
But it won’t be tonight, so he needs to relax.
He gets Franny to bed by eight, miraculously, and when he comes back to the living room it’s just the two of you. It’s almost never the two of you, and he can’t tell if he’s just imagining it or if the air in the room’s gotten thicker.
You’re wrapped in that fluffy robe, legs tucked under you as you scroll your phone, so comfortable on his couch, in his home—goddammit, he wants you in his home all the time. How can you make him hard just sitting there, just existing?
“I’m gonna jump in the shower,” he says, and you nod, not looking up. “You’re welcome to watch whatever you want.”
“Okay, Mr. Morales,” you say.
He is a weak, weak man.
“You can—look, I’ve been thinking. I don’t think the Mr. Morales thing is necessary anymore. Just…call me Frankie.”
You smile softly. “Not gonna change your mind again?” You ask, and he can hear the uncertainty in your voice. “I don’t mind…I’m used to strict boundaries. It’s okay.”
“I won’t change my mind,” he says, and you nod. You don’t call him Frankie, but you don’t argue with him, either.
He’s proud to say that he doesn’t jerk off in the shower, not with you right on the other side of the wall, no matter how insistent his cock is.
Frankie digs out the one pair of pajama pants he owns and a white t-shirt, foregoing his usual tank top and boxers, tucking his dick under his waistband and hoping you don’t notice anything.
“Great British Bake Off?” He asks, nodding toward the tv as he sits on the other side of the worn leather couch. You’re stretched out over the other cushions, a blanket covering your bare legs. He wonders what you’d do if he pulled it off of you and crawled between your legs.
He doesn’t.
“Mmhmm. Old episode, though,” you say, getting up to hand him the remote. “I’ll just—”
“You going to bed already?” He asks.
“Yeah, I didn’t wanna be all in your space, you know?”
But he really, really wants you to be all in his space.
“We could watch a movie. If you want.”
You smile.

Frankie tosses and turns on the couch—this’ll be hell on his back in the morning, but he’d wanted you to be comfortable.  And it’s not just the position keeping him in discomfort—he’s so fucking horny he thinks he might die.
He rolls over on his stomach, smushing his cheek into the pillow and sighing. He tries not to think of you asleep in his bed, all vulnerable and soft. He tries not to think of your tits spilling from that tank top, of the shorts riding up your thighs and exposing your pussy. He tries not to think of you having a dirty dream, whimpering in his bed and rubbing your thighs together, hips moving on their own and searching out friction in your sleep.
Fuck.
It takes him a moment to realize he’s doing that—moving his hips in search of friction, pressing down into the worn leather couch. It feels…good.
Frankie picks his head up, peeking around the room to make sure all the doors are closed. He turns the volume up on the tv to cancel out any noise and grinds his hips down.
His fist clenches around the pillow under his head as he presses up and down, back and forth, his foreskin doing most of the work. He should stop this, but he doesn’t know how he’ll get to sleep without some relief. He pulls his pants down and shirt up, trapping his cock between the soft leather and his belly. You were sitting right where he’s rubbing, and he can almost smell your soap. Precome pours from him as a hard shudder runs through his body, biting on the pillow to keep himself quiet.
It feels so good, so wrong—he shouldn't be doing this out here where you could walk right out and catch him. It would be humiliating, wouldn’t it, if you found him like this, fucking against the couch that smells like you?
But that only spurs him on, sweat accumulating on his temple as he rocks back and forth, grunting as quietly as he can. He keeps his eyes open, scanning the room, wishing now that you’d find him like this. He can almost hear that quiet giggle of yours as he humps faster, his eyes finally closing as he feels himself nearing his peak.
How wet would your pretty little cunt get, watching him humiliate himself for you? Would you like that? Would you spank him, ride his cock, put your fingers inside of him—what would you do?
His eyes fly open at a sudden noise, and there you are, standing still, your mouth slack and eyes wide open.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
Tumblr media
You can’t sleep.
Of course you can’t sleep, not in Frankie’s bed, even with the sheets smelling like fresh laundry. The scent of him is still embedded into the mattress, baked into the fibers of his pillow. You try not to think about what he does in here when he’s alone, or even when he’s not—how many people have felt the scratch of his patchy beard between their thighs; his thick, calloused fingers roaming their bodies? How many people have fallen apart around his cock? Was he rough? Was he soft? Did he talk them through their orgasm?
Did he let them talk him through his?
You’re not sure which would be better, but you’ll take whatever he’s willing to give.
Not that he’s willing to give you anything.
This was stupid, falling in love with a client. It complicates everything, makes it so much harder to be objective. And it’s not permanent—one day they won’t need you anymore. Leaving a kid is always hard, but this one? This one’ll hurt if you don’t get it under control.
Sometimes you think there might be something there, but it’s always a fleeting glance here or there, a touch that lingers a little too long. He’d made it very clear months ago he wanted a professional relationship only, and that was totally fine. He didn’t want anything else.
Right?
You toss and turn a little longer, the TV on the other side of the wall a bit too loud for comfort. Surely he’d fallen asleep by now.
The door opens without a quiet creak, and your eyes adjust to the relative brightness of the living room. The tree lights are still on, twinkling like little stars. Movement from the other side of the room catches your attention, and it takes a moment to work out what’s happening on the other side of the room.
Frankie’s all lit up by the tree lights bouncing off his warm olive skin, but it’s his hips you're mesmerized by. His eyes are closed, a thin sheen of sweat glimmering from his exertion as he grinds himself against the couch—the exact spot you’d been sitting in earlier—panting quietly, allowing himself a weak whine every few seconds.
Holy shit.
It briefly occurs to you that you should turn around, afford him this private moment he might desperately need before a stressful trip, but how private is he being, really? How’s this your fault?
You could’ve come out at any time, but here he is. In the middle of the living room, doing…that. Wetness pools between your legs, as if you weren’t already aroused enough, wrapped in his sheets and fighting with yourself about stealing one of his shirts.
He looks so beautiful in those lights. His mouth hangs open, hushed groans starting to pour out with each new thrust of his hips. A particularly bright flash comes from the TV screen and you catch a glimpse of his cock trapped under his belly, and you’ve never wanted to be a couch so badly in your life.
Frankie Morales has a huge dick.
You knew it.
When his eyes finally open, he blinks a few times, and everything moves in slow motion—his eyes go wide and panicked as he stills, pushing himself up to stop the cant of his hips, but his cock doesn’t seem to care what’s happening.
In fact, his cock seems to like it an awful lot.
He tries to cover himself but seizes up before his hands make it to his waistband; instead he gasps, crouching over and grabbing the back of the couch; he squeezes the cushion with one hand as his eyes close again and lets out soft, needy grunts. Your eyes slide back down to his throbbing cock, unable to look away from the ropes of thick, pearlescent come splattering onto the couch, his hips thrusting into nothing.
“Oh, fuck,” he whines, and you have never, ever seen anything hotter in your life. The sound of it landing rings in your ears; you can barely hear his apologies. “Shit, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
You hover in the hallway for a moment, trying to decide if you should go to him or disappear, but he’s looking at you with his big eyes, his chest still heaving with effort.
“It’s okay, Frankie,” you say, taking a chance. “I’m not upset.”
He frantically stuffs himself back into his pants, pausing as he takes in what you’ve said.
“You’re not?” He asks through ragged breaths, looking around for something to clean up his mess.
“No,” you murmur, grabbing the remote on your way to him and turning off the TV. “Not at all. I…liked it.”
Frankie doesn’t move as you settle in front of him, doesn’t recoil at your fingers finding the hem of his shirt and tugging up. He raises his arms up and lets you pull it over his head.
“You made a mess,” you whisper, and he nods, transfixed as you use his shirt to clean it up.
“I’m sorry,” he murmurs, looking up at you through long lashes and groaning as you run your fingers through his sweaty hair. “You liked it?”
Frankie puts his hands on your hips, a shaky finger curling into your waistband and tugging. With the TV off, the lights glitter in his eyes, and the little halos bouncing off his glistening chest are angelic and sinful at once.
“Yeah,” you murmur. “Sit back.” He listens, no questions, and you straddle him, both knees planted firmly against his outer thighs. “What were you thinking about, baby?”
He sighs, squeezing your hips as you explore the breadth of his chest all the way down the swell of his belly.
“You,” he admits. “Always you. I think about you all the fucking time, I’m so sorry, I know it’s not—”
“Shh,” you soothe. “It’s all right, Frankie. I think about you, too. All the time.”
He runs his hands over your waist, hovering at the hem of your shirt and searching your eyes for permission. You nod, and he slides his hands up your shirt, thumbing at the sides of your breasts. You rock gently against him, waiting for his answer.
“You don’t think I’m a…pervert or something?” He asks.
“I didn't say that, did I? I think you were being a bad, bad boy out here. Thinking about me, fucking yourself where I could walk right in here,” you chastise, and he shudders underneath you.
“I’m so—”
“Why don’t you apologize properly, hm?” You purr. “We can get comfortable in your room. If you’d like.”
He nods eagerly, but before you climb off, he wraps his big hand around the back of your neck and presses a kiss against your lips, pulling a soft squeak from you. You melt against him, almost forgetting you’re in charge, but his lips are so soft and needy you haven’t lost any control.
How long has he wanted to do this?
Why hadn’t he done it before?
“Frankie,” you murmur against his lips, and he pulls back, letting you guide him to the bedroom.
You lean against the pillows, his eyes darkening as you spread your legs. He makes himself at home between them, pulling off your tank top and stripping your shorts in two quick motions.
“You were bad,” you murmur again, and you don’t just mean earlier.
“How can I fix it, bebita?” He asks, eyes softening, and you think he gets the message.
“You wanna make me come?” You ask, and he nods eagerly, pressing himself against you. He’s already stiff again.
“I’ll give you anything. Please,” he begs.
“You can eat my pussy to apologize,” you order and he whines, crashing his mouth to yours in a sloppy kiss. He trails down your chest, licking and sucking little marks until he gets to your cunt, tweaking your nipples between his thumb and forefinger.
You thread your fingers through his hair and tug; he shudders and buries his face in your cunt, teasing your clit with his tongue.
“Fuck, I knew you’d taste good, I knew you’d taste so fucking good,” he growls. “Open your legs a little more for me, please, baby, lemme see you.”
He inhales, nudging your clit with his nose and circling your hole with his tongue. “Smell so fucking good, too, goddamn. Knew this little pussy would be so—fucking—good—”
Frankie Morales is relentless with his tongue, grunting like an animal as he takes his time to figure out what feels good and moaning in satisfaction when he finds something you like.
Pressing firmly with the flat of his tongue, he licks long, languid circles as his fingers dig into the meat of your thighs. It feels like heaven, like you’ve needed this your whole life, and you clench around nothing as your orgasm nears.
He notices.
“You want my fingers, bebita?”
“Please,” you sob, forgetting you’re supposed to be in charge. All you can think about is his soft, wet tongue and the way his hair feels between your fingers. He slides one thick finger inside of you, hooking it upward and curling, brushing against something that makes your toes curl. Your hips thrust up so high he has to lay his forearm across your belly to hold you still.
“Think you can take another one, baby, gonna give you one more,” he says, and you have to bite your fist to keep from crying out as he pushes the second finger in. He strokes you insistently, fingers working in tandem with his persistent tongue and your whole body tremors as you inch closer and closer.
“Frankie,” you whimper. “Frankie, Frankie, Frankie, please—”
“That’s it, just let it happen, come on, don’t fight it, baby, come for me, come f—” You fall apart around his fingers, mouth open as you gush so hard you push his fingers out of you, and he lets out a long, guttural moan, praising you with soft murmurs. “Oh fuck, fuck yeah, so good, baby, did so fucking good, look at all that you gave me—”
You throw your arm over your face, sobbing quietly as it just keeps going, your legs shaking and twitching as he rubs your outer thighs. “Fuck, Frankie, Frankie, feels so good, feels so good,” is all you can manage.
You lift your arm to find him looking up at you, eyes glazed over and his face dripping with you and he’s so, so beautiful. You don’t think he knows how beautiful he is, and you wonder if anyone’s ever told him that.
He crawls up your body to meet you, kissing you fiercely, still hungry for you. “Am I forgiven?” He asks. You smile and slide your thumb over his bottom lip.
“No,” you murmur, and his sweet, eager face falls with disappointment. Your reach down and wrap your fingers around his cock, closing your eyes to savor the way it pulses in your hand. “You still need to fuck me, don’t you? Because I still need your cock, Frankie.”
“R-really?” He asks.
“Unless you don’t want to,” you say, giving him an out. “But I would really love you to fuck me with that big, pretty cock.”
“Yeah. Yes, ma’am, please, let me—”
He clamors for his bedside drawer, fishing out a condom.
Responsible. You like that.
He rolls it down that pretty cock of his and starts to line himself up with you, but you have something else in mind.
“Wanna ride you,” you say, switching positions with him. His eyes rove over your body as you swing your legs over his thighs, and he scoots up to a sitting position against the pillows.
“Wanna kiss you,” he says, groaning as you sink onto him. “Think about this all the time.”
You breathe as you adjust to his size, the slight stretch disappearing quickly as you start to move. You wish you could feel his cock without the barrier, wish he could come inside of you and watch it leak out of your spent pussy, but the way he’s looking at you, worshipful and earnest, more than makes up for it. He pulls you to him, all teeth and tongue and need as he pants into your mouth.
“Shit,” he says. “Shit, I don’t know—don’t know how long I’ll last. You feel so fucking good. Wanted this for so long.”
You moan at his confession, your pussy clenching around him and pulling another groan from him. “You gonna come that fast, baby? When you just came? My pussy feels that good?” It’s too easy to tease him. He wraps his arms around you, like can’t get close enough to you, and whimpers and holy fucking shit, you love that noise.
So you keep talking.
“It’s okay, Frankie. I won’t be mad. You’ll still be a good boy for me if you come fast, you can’t help it if it feels good, right?”
He shakes his head, grunting something that sounds like “no” as he starts to thrust up into you. He slots his arms under yours, his fingers anchoring over your shoulders from behind, and all you can do is hold on. Not exactly riding him, but this is really fucking good, too.
“Fuck me like you need to, baby. Wish you could come inside me, Frankie. Wish you could make a mess inside me, I’d make you clean it up, lick it out of—”
“Wanna come in you, wanna come in you so bad,” he says. “Wanna keep you, wanna—fuck—wanna make you my little woman, want you to boss me around, please, baby, fuck, I’m gonna come—”
Frankie lets out a long, quiet groan, shuddering like he had in the living room, and you whisper encouragement in his ear.
“Sorry,” he moans. “Sorry, sorry, sorry.”
“It’s okay, baby, it’s okay,” you murmur, not entirely sure what he’s sorry about. He doesn’t let you move from him, your foreheads pressed together, lips molded as he comes back to Earth.
“Hey,” you murmur. “You okay?”
“I’m…oh, fuck,” he says, kissing you all over your face. “I’m amazing.” He kisses your nose. “You’re amazing.”
“Yeah?”
After he takes some time to breathe, you’re able to move from his lap, his softening cock slipping from you. You could’ve kept him in there all night, you think.
He ties off the condom and throws it away, throwing on boxers and says he’s going to check and make sure Franny’s still asleep.
You make your way into his bathroom to clean up, putting your clothes back on and dreading whatever post-orgasm clarity conversation was about to happen. His mumbled apologies seemed like a bad sign, and your stomach churns.
He’d also said nice stuff, things you know better than to take seriously if men were in the heat of the moment, but you don’t think you’d mind bossing him around if he let you. As you open the door, you take a deep breath and find him sitting on the bed with a glass of water on the nightstand.
Dammit, he’s so pretty.
“Hey,” he says softly. “We should probably talk—”
“Look, I get it,” you cut him off, trying to get ahead of him. “I’m still fine to stay here through the day tomorrow. I can give you some good referrals to other sitters—”
“What do you mean?” He asks, frowning. “Why would I need that? Are…you’re quitting?”
“No, I mean—I thought you’d want to remove any complications,” you explain.
“You’re not a complication,” he says, holding his hand out. You look at it warily, taking it with suspicion. “I wanted to tell you I’m rescheduling my flight so I don’t have to leave tomorrow.”
“Really?” You ask, and he nods, handing you the glass of water.
“You thought I was gonna fire you? After…that? Right before Christmas?” He asks.
“I’ve heard plenty of stories, Frankie,” you murmur, taking a drink of water.
“I wanted to spend time with you. I want to take you on a date, if you’ll let me.”
“I’d love that,” you say, the constriction in your chest dissipating with his sweet smile. “I just…”
“What?” He asks, cupping your cheek. “You can tell me.”
“You don’t like me,” you say.
“What?”
“You don’t like me! You did, and then—and then you didn’t anymore, back in September. And you were apologizing when we—”
“I was being an idiot. I wanted to do what was best for Franny and I thought if I came onto you it would fuck everything up,” he says. He rubs the back of his neck and gives you a sheepish grin. “And I was apologizing because I came so fast. You just felt so good.”
“Oh,” you say, letting this information wash over you with another swig of water.
“Oh?” He asks, his eyes all big and round and worried and sweet and how can a grown man be so cute?
“It’s a good ‘oh’. I’m glad I know. I like you, Frankie. I always have.”
“I like you, too.”
You fall asleep tangled in his arms, talking late into the night, and in the morning you wake up to the noise of a camera shuttering and several bright flashes.
“Why you both in here?” Franny asks, clicking away like a miniature paparazzo. Your mouth opens and closes with all the grace of a land-dwelling bass fish, and blessedly, Frankie wakes up before you can answer.
“Come here, mija, let me see that,” he says, and Franny climbs in bed with the two of you, presenting her camera to Frankie for inspection and successfully distracting her as you slip out to put your robe back and start breakfast.
They come out of his room a few minutes later, and Frankie comes up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing the back of your neck.
“Merry Christmas,” he says.
“It’s not Christmas yet.”
“Close enough,” he says.

PART TWO IS OUT NOW.
Why was Jeon Jungkook at the Communications building?
He had a red and white leather jacket on top of a white shirt, jeans, and his black combat boots. His long hair was a mess, which you guessed was due to his helmet, and when he saw you walking down the steps of the building, he perked up, smiled, and waved at you.
At first, you weren’t even sure if it was you he was waving at, so you were a bit stunned, and looked over your shoulder. But then, you heard your name called by him. You and Jungkook were not friends. Sure, you exchanged friendly nods at each other whenever your paths would cross, but that was the end of it. In fact, the only reason why you even exchanged those friendly nods was because of Taehyung—your cousin who also happened to be his best friend since preschool. If it wasn’t for him, you and Jungkook would just pass by each other without so much as a glance.
And so, it was only natural that you were confused and surprised when you saw him leaning against his motorcycle in front of your college’s building, apparently waiting for you.
“Y/N, hey,” Jungkook greeted with a smile on his handsome face once he was near you.
Still confused, you returned the smile, adjusting the strap of your backpack hanging over your shoulder. “Hi, Jungkook. Is everything okay?”
He nodded. “Yeah, everything is—everything’s fine,” he said. Then, he cleared his throat. “Do you have time like right now? My treat.” He asked, his doe eyes piercing into yours.
You could not believe what you just heard. “What?” Was all you could reply.
Jungkook chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with his gloved hand. “I know. It’s a shock, right? Believe me, I am too, but I just really need to talk to you about something. I wouldn’t bother you if it wasn’t so important.”
“Is it about Taehyung? Is he okay? Did he get into trouble?” You asked, alert. It was the only logical answer why Jungkook waited for you and why he wanted to talk to you. Taehyung was the only person connecting the both of you.
Jungkook shook his head. “No, no, it’s not about Taehyung, but he’s fine. He’s in his class right now. Look,” he sighed deeply, licking his lower lip with the tip of his tongue before staring at you once more. “Yiseul, I just really need to talk to you. In private.”
You debated whether to go with him or not. This was Jeon Jungkook. Despite his tattoos, broad shoulders, piercings, and big bike—he was harmless. He was your cousin’s best friend, and even though you two weren’t friends, he looked like he needed one at the moment. Besides, you wouldn’t deny that a part of you wasn’t curious as to why he needed to talk to you. That and the fact that because you had been in love with him since you met him when you were thirteen, how could you say no to something that you had only imagined in your wildest dreams?
“Okay. Okay, let’s go,” you agreed, heart beating rapidly. “Where are we going?”
Jungkook’s smile widened when you agreed. “There’s a basement cafe twenty minutes from here. It’s called Seven.”
The both of you began making your way towards his motorcycle. “Just how private is this conversation going to be?” you asked supposedly only for yourself, but accidentally, you said it out loud.
“I guess you already have an idea on how private it needs to be considering the location,” he chuckled. “But don’t worry—I promise you’ll get home in one piece.”
Jungkook handed you his extra helmet, and you were thankful that you didn’t wear a dress that day. After placing your backpack in front of your chest, you wore the helmet. “Can you give me a hint on what it’s about?”
You couldn’t help it. You were curious.
“I remember you always being curious, Y/N. Glad you haven’t changed at all,” Jungkook said, mounting his motorcycle. “In twenty minutes, you’ll know. If you ride now, you’ll know in fifteen minutes.”
You thought he looked so attractive as he smiled and waited for you on his motorcycle. His smile was so infectious that you couldn’t help but to return it. “Alright, fine,” you say. Then, you mounted his motorcycle, placing your hands on his firm shoulders.
“Ready?” Jungkook asked, placing his key into the ignition, briefly glancing at you.
“Yeah, ready,” you replied. He started the engine and you held onto your backpack for dear life. You had seen Jungkook drive his motorcycle before and the only way you could describe it was fast.
“Alright. Let’s go.”
Jungkook drove off.
Tumblr media
As promised, fifteen minutes later, you arrived at Seven. It was indeed a basement cafe, secluded from the busy city streets and tucked in between fruit stands and ready-to-wear clothes inside an alley. You were the first to get off his motorcycle, taking your helmet off. Shaking your head, you took in your surroundings while Jungkook took his motorcycle garments off.
The alley was alive with mostly elderly people buying fruits and high schoolers buying the RTWs. The tangerines stood out due to their bright color against the setting sun. You wondered when and how Jungkook came to know the place, if he frequented it, why he chose this place over all other cafes.
“Y/N? Let’s go inside?” Jungkook asked, gesturing to you to enter the cafe first.
You nodded, entering Seven. As a basement cafe, the first thing you noticed were the windows placed near the ceiling. A permanent sepia hue covered the entire establishment due to its yellow orange lights. The walls were painted gray, tables and chairs white. There were only a few tables and chairs, and Jungkook led the way to the one at the very back.
He pulled the chair out of you which you thanked him for, and you sat down. Jungkook followed afterwards, placing the helmets on the table between the both of you.
“What do you want?” He asked, pulling his chair closer to the table.
“Honestly, I’m more curious on why you want to talk to me than have any drinks here,” you told him, placing your backpack on the floor beside your chair.
Jungkook chuckled, leaning his back against his chair. “Alright. Should I just say it?”
You nodded.
“I was hoping that you’ll pretend to be my girlfriend to make Haemin jealous,” Jungkook said so casually that you were completely and utterly stunned. Did you just hear him correctly? Upon seeing your reaction, he continued, “She broke up with me a month ago, and to be honest, I saw it coming already. We were getting into a lot of meaningless fights, always finding faults in one another, and just overall, being toxic to each other. So, when she broke up with me, I did not put up a fight, and just let her be,” Jungkook scoffed, shaking his head lightly. “Then, I learned that she was seeing Han Riyeo, that fucking bastard from Yongsan, behind my back for three months, and I want to get back at her.”
His explanation did not help you grasp what he just said previously. You were still stunned, but you managed to ask, “Why me?”
“For reasons I still don’t know, Haemin was always jealous of you,” he confessed.
Now, that was a surprise. “What? You and I barely had any interaction.”
“I know, but I suspect it’s because you’re there whenever I hang out with Taehyung,” Jungkook shrugged his shoulders, then ran his fingers through his hair. “So? Will you help me, Y/N?”
“This is pretty childish, don’t you think?” you told him, eyebrows furrowed.
Jungkook crossed his arms over his chest. “I’ll pay you. I know you need the money. Taehyung mentioned you’re saving for the deposit on this apartment you want to rent.”
You stared at him, trying to find any trace of mischief in his eyes and body language but found none. Jungkook was serious. A part of you knew that the logical answer would be to decline his offer. It was childish, as you had told him. It was a nuisance and it would do nothing but bring problems and complications in your life. Your life was complicated enough, and you didn’t need to add Jeon Jungkook’s fake girlfriend to your list of complications.
But this was Jeon Jungkook. The person you had been in love with since you were thirteen. The person you supported, cheered on, and loved unconditionally from afar because it was all that you could do. You would be lying if you said that you did not imagine yourself being his girlfriend—going to every game, wearing his jersey, riding his motorcycle, going on dates, taking lots of photos and videos of him, hugging, and even kissing him—because you did, countless times. You would also be lying if you didn’t think that you could love him better than Haemin ever did.
They said love makes you do crazy things. You didn’t think that applied to you. You loved Jeon Jungkook, and you didn’t think that that love would fade anytime soon. So, even though you knew that this was pretend and paid, you said, “Okay. I’ll do it.”
Tumblr media
After your orders arrived, the both of you continued your conversation.
“So, how will this work?” you asked, sipping your iced chocolate drink.
Jungkook put up a finger, chewing the cheeseburger he ordered, and afterwards, he replied, “We act like a couple. Go on dates, post them on social media, and all that.”
You were never someone who did things half-assed. If you were going to get paid to fake date someone, you might as well go all out. Also, perhaps, a part of you just wanted to make the most out of being Jeon Jungkook’s fake girlfriend.
“I don’t think that would be enough to make Haemin jealous. If you really want that, we should do the things you either only did with her or promised to do with her,” you pointed out.
Jungkook nodded. “I see. You got a point.”
“So, what are those things? The things you did for her and the things you promised to do with her?”
He inhaled deeply, scratching the side of his nose as he thought. “Well, I pick her up everyday. Take her out on picnic dates, study with her, and I go to her recitals.”
You nodded. “Okay. Then, you should pick me up everyday, take me out on picnic dates, study with me, and well, I don’t really do any recitals.”
“Alright. I’ll do that,” Jungkook grinned. “As for the things I promised to do with her—the first thing that popped in my mind was that I promised I’ll take her to my brother’s wedding.”
“We shouldn’t involve our families in this. Me being Taehyung’s cousin is complicated enough,” you remarked.
“Okay. How about this? We made plans to go out of town during winter break. Do you wanna do that?”
“Where?”
“My sister-in-law runs a small resort in Busan. It’s by the beach,”
You pressed your lips together, nodding. “Okay. That could work.”
“For my part, you have to go to my games. That’s pretty much all you have to do, and of course, the dates.”
“That’s already a given,” you told him. “I’m assigned to cover your games this season.”
“Right. You are the News editor of the Times. I’m honored,” Jungkook placed a hand on his chest, bowing his head at you.
You chuckled, shaking your head. “I have a question.”
“Go for it.”
“What will happen when Haemin gets jealous? Will we “break up” and the two of you will get back together?” you asked, cautiously, but also curiously.
“I have no plans of getting back together with her,” Jungkook answered. “But when she finally gets jealous and tells me about it, then revenge is served. I guess then we’ll break up. But don’t worry, I’ll pay you handsomely every time so you could move into that apartment of yours. It’s the least I could do after you agreed to do this with me.”
It shouldn’t have stung the way it did. After all, this was only paid and pretend, but it did.
“Alright,” you said. “We should shake hands on it.”
You extended your hand toward him and Jungkook sealed the deal with his firm handshake. “Starting today, you’re my girl, Y/N.”
Tumblr media
You would be the first to admit that looking after Kim Taehyung was something you did out of debt of gratitude toward his parents. After your father passed away when you were only eleven years old, your mother couldn’t afford to send you to school, so his parents financed your education since then and until now that you were in college. You lived with Taehyung at the condominium they bought for him near the university and since you were on scholarship through your membership at the official student publication of Jamsil University, The Jamsil Times, they only paid for your miscellaneous fees every semester.
Because of these, you felt like Taehyung was your responsibility. You had to take care of him, look after him, tutor him, make sure he did all his school work, attend his classes, and be there every time he asked you to. It felt like when it came to him and his parents, you couldn’t say no because if you did, you could easily lose your housing and education.
It didn’t help that Taehyung seemed to attract trouble wherever he was. He even gained a nickname for it in high school which followed him in college, “Trouble Taehyung.” You couldn’t remember the times you apologized on his behalf, woke up in the middle of the night from a call from one of his so-called friends asking if you could pick him up as he was drunk and bruised, and ensured none of his troubles reached his parents.
Tonight was no different.
You woke up from the sound of your phone vibrating against your desk. You didn’t realize that you had fallen asleep, studying for your upcoming midterms exam, and when you woke up, you could feel the soreness of your neck and lower back. With one eye open, your vision adjusted to the bright light coming from your phone, and saw Park Jimin’s name flashing on your screen. Immediately, you knew why he was calling you. There could only be one reason: Kim Taehyung.
“Hello?” your voice was hoarse, groggy from your slumber.
“Y/N? I’m sorry I woke you up, didn’t I? It’s—,”
“Taehyung, I know. What happened this time?” you sighed deeply, rubbing your face with your free hand. “Where are you guys?”
“He got into an argument with this guy, and well, it led to a fight. He’s bruised, bleeding, but he refuses to go to a hospital, but—,”
“Hey! Is that Y/N? I told you not to call her, Park Jimin!” you could hear Taehyung’s voice in the background which made you sigh once more. Moments later, it was Taehyung who was on the call with you. “Y/N, sorry. Don’t worry about me. I’m fine. Jimin’s just a worry wart.”
“Taehyung,” you were tired and it was evident in your tone. “Go to the hospital if you’re bleeding. It might get infected.”
“I can’t,” he replied. “Mom is going to find out. It’s a small world, you know that,” his tone was low, cautious, as though he did not want anyone else hearing him. “I’m fine. I’ll put on some ointment and band-aid and I’m good.”
You wished you didn’t give a shit about him. But you did. Whether it was out of debt of gratitude or not, you wouldn’t be able to sleep if you didn’t help him. Perhaps, you had gotten so used to it that it had become a part of you already, like a hobby, like a memory.
“Where are you, Taehyung?”
“Y/N, seriously, I’m—,”
“Taehyung, just tell me where you are,” your patience was wearing thin and Taehyung knew that.
“We’re at Jungkook’s apartment,” he muttered.
Even the mention of his name was enough for the butterflies in your stomach to go crazy. Even by just hearing his name, your irritation seemed to slowly fade away.
“Okay. I’ll be there in a while. I’m gonna use your car, okay?”
“Okay. Y/N, I’m sorry,” Taehyung apologized and you could hear his sincerity.
“Don’t be,” you told him as you stood up from your chair. “See you. I’ll hang up now.”
Just how deep does blood run?
Tumblr media
You were at Jungkook’s apartment minutes later, thanks to no traffic and him only living fifteen minutes from Taehyung’s condominium. When you rang the bell to his unit, you already expected that he would be the one to answer the door. You just didn’t expect that he would be wearing gray sweatpants and a white loose muscle tee showing off his toned tattooed arm. Seeing him in that light, you couldn’t help but feel more attracted to him. Jungkook was truly a sight to see.
“Hey,” he greeted you with a smile. “Come inside.”
“Thanks,” you told him, entering his apartment. It was simple, neat, and smelled of vanilla. You took off your shoes by the doorway, placing a hand on the wall beside you. “Where’s Taehyung?”
“Kitchen,” he replied behind you. “Y/N,” his hot breath fanned over your exposed neck, making you shiver. “I’ll linger around you, alright? That way, they could get a hint that something’s going on with us. Is that okay?” he whispered.
His low tone was simply mesmerizing. “Okay,” you breathed out. Thank god you had your hand on that wall otherwise you would have literally fallen.
“Okay,” he chuckled, and led the way to the kitchen.
“Y/N!” Taehyung exclaimed when he saw you. He was sitting on one of the stools in the kitchen island while Jimin looked through the refrigerator.
You gave him a tight-lipped smile and made your way toward him, placing the plastic bag you hand in your hand on the counter beside you. Taehyung jumped off the stool he was sitting on, instantly giving you a squeezing hug. He was always an affectionate boy growing up. You weren’t so you found it uncomfortable at first. But the more Taehyung did it, you got used to it.
“Let me see your bruise,” you guided him back to the stool, and began taking out the first aid you bought along the way. The bruise wasn’t as serious as you thought it would be. You were expecting that he would have a black eye, a deep cut that would need stitches, but it was manageable by you. Jimin was overreacting, you concluded. “What happened? How did you get this?”
As you began to clean the cut on Taehyung’s cheek, Jimin sat down across from your cousin while Jungkook made his way near you.
“One minute I was dancing next to some girl, the next, her boyfriend landed a punch on my face. I didn’t know she had a boyfriend—she told me she was single,” Taehyung explained.
“Didn’t know my ass,” Jimin scoffed. “Everyone knows Heejin is with Taemin. Everyone also knows that Taemin’s a crazy jealous bastard. You were just looking for trouble, as always.”
“I was not,” your cousin retorted, throwing the medical tape you bought at his friend.
You clicked your tongue in annoyance. “Stop it, you two,” you hissed, pressing the cotton ball a bit harder against Taehyung’s bruise. He winced. “Is that true?” you asked him.
Taehyung didn’t answer. You sighed.
“You knew it was wrong, and yet, you did it anyway knowing it’ll just get you in trouble,” you muttered. “Why did you do it?”
Taehyung sighed deeply. “Because Taemin’s a piece of shit.”
“You’re also a piece of shit,” Jimin snorted. “Both of you are the biggest pieces of shit at Jamsil.”
“Do you wanna get punched?”
“Let’s go right now,”
“Hey, stop it. You’re so fucking loud,” Jungkook reprimands the two bickering men. “You already woke me up from my sleep by going here. Don’t wake up the entire fucking building.”
Moments later, you finished tending to Taehyung’s cut. “All done. Come on, let’s go home.”
Taehyun didn’t protest. You began to clean up your mess, placing everything back into the plastic bag. Silence filled Jungkook’s kitchen. The three of you weren’t close so there were no conversations where all of you could participate.
“Let’s go,” you bowed your head at Jimin as a farewell which he returned. Then, your eye caught Jungkook’s gaze. You weren’t sure what to do. Fortunately, Jungkook was quick-witted.
“I’ll walk you guys out,” he said coolly, pushing himself off of the sink he was leaning against.
“No need. Just go back to sleep. Thanks for letting us in,” Taehyung shook his head, patting his best friend’s shoulder as he passed by him.
“I insist,” Jungkook responded.
“Can I stay here tonight?” Jimin asked Jungkook as he made his way out of the kitchen.
“Yeah sure,”
You followed Jungkook and Taehyung out of the former’s apartment. As you and your cousin slipped on your shoes, Jungkook waited outside his apartment.
“Are you mad at me?” Taehyung asked, meeting your gaze. “I’m sorry, Y/N.”
“I’m not mad at you,” you assured him. “But you have to stop involving and getting yourself into trouble, Tae. Sooner or later, you’ll end up getting really hurt.”
“I will, I promise,” he smiled at you and you nodded, exiting the apartment.
The three of you walked down the hallway; the two boys walking on your sides. You weren’t sure if Jungkook was consciously doing it, but it was making your heart pound. Whenever your fingers brushed against his, there was an electric shock that flew through your body. And as you reached the end of the hallway and in front of the elevator, and when the doors opened, Jungkook placed his hand at your lower back, gesturing you to enter the lift first.
You looked at him, and there was a knowing smile plastered on his face that made you blush. “After you,” he said.
You were fucking lovestruck.
Tumblr media
Championships cast a spell in your school. Jamsil University’s premier sport was basketball and with an all-star lineup this year—it was not even up for discussion that your university would be one of the teams playing out to become this year’s champions.
To say the least, sports were not your thing. While you understood the basics, it wasn’t something you were interested in. Your father had enrolled you in a tennis class once but after witnessing how, simply out, awful you are at the sports, he dropped the ‘I want my daughter to be athletic’ narrative he was going for. That being said, you rarely attended any of the games Jamsil athletes participated in. But seeing as you were assigned to cover the basketball games this season, you had no other choice. Besides, your “boyfriend” was playing.
That’s how you found yourself at the gym of Jamsil, stressed as you took pictures and typed down the game on your phone. Frustrated, you sat on the bench behind you as the bell rang, signaling the end of the first half. As you read the draft on your notepad, you shook your head at the numerous times you used the word ‘tackle’—in your defense, it was all that you could see during the game. It was a particularly brutal game which made you wonder, was the game something more personal for the players? You only heard rumors, after all.
With a sigh, you made a mental note to fix the notes once you’re home. Standing up, you placed the phone inside your jeans’ back pocket and readied the Times’ camera to capture the ‘Half-time huddle’ that Bang Chan, the Sports Editor, had specifically asked you to take. As you made your way towards the basketball team, you took some shots of the audience as well as the Jamsil’s Cheerleading Team performing in the middle of the court. The blaring music and loud cheers from both schools as the cheerleaders performed filled the entire gymnasium, unconsciously making you smile. It was not everyday that you saw some sort of unity at your uni.
You focused your camera on the huddled team of Jamsil but dissatisfied, you tried another angle. Bang Chan’s words play in your mind: “The half-time huddle is one of the most important shots during these games, Y/N. The play they’re setting up will either make them or break them. Make sure you capture it.”
Then, the idea hit you. You hurriedly made your way on the other side of the team, hearing Coach Song’s booming voice telling his players the game even with all the screaming and cheers. You moved the towels and water bottles on the bench aside, then you stepped on it and placed the camera above the huddled team. Smiling, you knew you found the perfect angle. Making sure that the camera was focused, you inhaled deeply and as you were about to click the shutter button—a face turned to face the lens and a gasp escaped your lips, shocked and you felt yourself losing balance. Bracing for impact, you clutched the camera tightly against your chest and closed your eyes with one thing in mind: If this breaks, I am so screwed.
It felt like eternity as you waited for the impact. Opening your eyes, you see a pair of round brown eyes, staring at you in concern, eyebrows furrowed. Your breath hitched in your throat as realization hit you. Around your waist, you felt strong arms supporting you; hot breath fanned your face and you felt something liquid dripping on your forehead.
“Y/N, are you okay?” When he spoke, you immediately snapped back to reality and you wriggled yourself out of his grip—flustered and ground-swallow-me-up embarrassed. Your cheeks were burning as you collected yourself. “Y/N?”
It was as if the entire gymnasium had their focus on you and Jungkook.
“Jeon, what the fuck, get back here,” Coach Song hissed.
Fuck me, you thought as you cleared your throat. “Thanks,” you whispered to him.
Jungkook smiled—the boyishly charming smile that made you fall in love with him all those years ago. Then, he did something that made you fall in love with him all over again.
“Wish me luck, babe,” Jungkook said before wrapping his tattooed arm around your waist and placing a kiss on your cheek. “The game’s on, Y/N. No turning back now.”
You wished this was real. His kiss was real. But even if it wasn’t, indeed, there was no turning back now. The game had begun.

You and Me Got a Whole Lot of History - LN
Summary: Giving up a relationship that felt completely perfect for both of them was hard, but Lando moving to Monaco and y/n getting her dream job. They realised that they have different life paths, but sometimes fate just has different plans. Only this time fate is pushed and shoved into Lando’s plans when he decides his path has to cross with y/n again.
Just for context reader works for Burberry which is obviously a very England based brand.
Tumblr media
They broke up in November of 2021 when Lando finally decided on a place to live in Monaco. Y/n realised she couldn’t hold him back from moving and he realised that she wouldn’t give up her dream for him. So while it hurt them both, they gave each other up.
The two of them had been friends since preschool and their parents are still very close.
They even moved on and have started dating other people. Hell, Lando has been with a couple others. Though his fans don’t know about them and he has noticed they miss y/n maybe even more than he does.
“Oh I almost forgot. Do you know who I ran into in the airport before I left London?” Max questions as he sits in Lando’s driver’s room.
“Who?” Lando hums as he checks his new Quadrant helmet, made to fit the stealth theme for the Singapore race.
“Y/n, she’s dating some big lawyer now. They were heading to the French Alps to go skiing.”
“She hates the cold.” Lando scoffs immediately before having to remind himself that he’s got no right to be annoyed. He also doesn’t want to see Max’s smug face over mentioning it purely to provoke Lando’s true feelings. “But skiing is fun. It’s nice she’s branching out into new experiences.”
“You think so?” Max questions earning a nod from his friend. “Well she definitely seemed happy to see me, it was nice to catch up and see how she’s doing after nearly two years.”
Has it really been almost two years? That suddenly feels like so long ago.
It’s not as if Lando doesn’t keep checks on her, and he likes all her posts on his burner account and watches all her stories. Hell, he even got a LinkedIn account just so he could see what she’s up to at work since she’s active on there.
Truth be told, she’s thriving. Glowing with a smile that just radiates how happy she is.
No doubt that’s how Lando appears too, but he knows that his happiness is genuine and he’s not so cocky that he believes hers is a facade.
“It’s not a crime to admit you miss her.” Max states making Lando’s head whip around.
“Look, she was an amazing girlfriend but I can get any woman I want-“ aside from y/n who was the one who really ended things after telling him that she couldn’t and wouldn’t choose him over her career “-and she is clearly very happy with her boyfriend. People break up and move on from each other, Max. I think you’re the only one here stuck on the break up.”
He even feels like an asshole lying to his best friend like this about something that Max is completely right about.
“Did you come here for the race?” Lando questions making Max take the unsubtle hint that Lando doesn’t want to talk about his ex-girlfriend and how she is in a happy relationship with a rich man who clearly spoils her and can set aside time for her. Not to mention the new man apparently isn’t moving to another country because of taxes.
-
After the Japan race, Lando has finally had to accept that he can’t stop thinking about y/n.
So he did what any man in his position would do. He goes home to visit him family in England in the hopes he can find a way to run into her.
“Max has told us what you’re doing home already.” His mum states earning a sigh from her second oldest child. “The man Max saw her with isn’t her boyfriend…he’s a friend from work, and her mum told me that Max caught them on the way to a work retreat. Apparently she mentioned that Max was your friend and he decided to play into a role as a new boyfriend.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.” Cisca scoffs shaking her head at him while. “You always loved her. From the moment the two of you met, there was a spark in your eye, like you found a piece of yourself that you didn’t even know you were missing…Ever since she told you that she wouldn’t leave with you. You lost that spark. As soon as you told us that you were moving I knew she wouldn’t leave after finally getting the internship at Burberry.”
“We’re still friends.” Lando lies since actually he hasn’t spoke to her since the start of the 2022 season. “I do miss her.”
“Have you told her how you feel?”
“It’s…been a long time since I told her anything.” Lando admits, wincing at his own words because he hates to say that the one person who had been in his life before Max is now his biggest loss in life. “Do you ever meet up with her family and have dinners like we used to?”
Cisca looks at her son knowing exactly what he’s asking of her and knowing that she has to help or the love of his life might really be lost for good.
“Fine, I will arrange something. But don’t waste my efforts in vain if I do this for you.”
“I won’t. Thank you, mum.”
-
It took some time but Cisca arranged for the y/l/n’s to come and made sure that she encouraged for y/n to be there. So of course they agreed that y/n would be in attendance.
When the family arrive, y/n looks borderline annoyed to see Lando is there. But remains polite and smiling sweet, Lando can read behind her eyes well enough that the facade doesn’t work on him.
They sit down and unsurprisingly, Lando and y/n are placed next to each other but she does everything to avoid one on one conversation with him.
“Sorry, if you’ll excuse me a moment.” Y/n smiles part with through the meal.
The moment she’s gone from the dining room, y/n’s mum speaks up.
“If I’m going to be used as an opportunity for you to finally make things right, then don’t waste an opportunity to speak to her alone.” Y/m/n sighs looking at Lando who can’t hide that he feels caught.
“Go Lando.” Adam nods, not usually one to involve himself in such things but on this occasion he wants to stop Lando from being so stupid to let her slip out his fingers again.
Lando practically stumbles up to his feet and rushes from the room, bumping into her as he moves around the house to try and find her.
“Hello.” Lando smirks making sure he doesn’t appear as nervous as he feels.
“Lando, I know what you’d trying to do…actually I know what you’re all trying to do. But I just want to know why you’re choosing now to do this and put us both through what was already such a hard situation.” Y/n frowns crossing her arms with the same expression she had when Lando told her he wasn’t going to try very hard with his school exams because he had a career he was pursuing and didn’t need them. “It’s been nearly two years.”
“That’s why…I realised how long it had been.” Lando states while she swallows thickly then stepping back, putting more distance between them. “You mum mentioned you work from home now, you must have a good position if you can do everything from home.”
“I can’t do everything from home. I have to attend meetings-“
“We didn’t even try long distance.” Lando states cutting in quickly while she sighs. “ I just mean that you made up your mind that things wouldn’t work from the get go, but you never considered other options…We could figure it out-I could figure it out if you let me.”
“Go on then. Give me an example.”
“You work from home, so you can come out to races. You could spend like a week every month over in Monaco with me, travel out for races with me. Then I’ll spend a week here and come see you whenever I come to the McLaren headquarters which is all the time. I’ll get to see you when I’m over here seeing everyone else.” Lando lists, and he even surprises himself with how much he’d really already thought out. “I don’t want to get in the way of you career, but I also can’t keep pretending that I can live without you.”
Y/n bites her lip looking what can only be described as incredibly sad. A shaky breath escapes her lips before she suddenly moves forward quickly, catching him in a kiss that he doesn’t realise is like a breath of fresh air filling his lungs.
He feels completely in awe of the feeling of her kiss, something he genuinely didn’t know he missed to such an extent but now he doesn’t know how he lived without it. He certainly didn’t appreciate her as much as he should’ve when he had her last.
His hands move up to her face, cupping her jaw to deepen the kiss as he gently pushes her back into the hallway wall which she really doesn’t bother to fight him on.
“Is that your way of saying you think everything I said is genius?” Lando questions breaking the kiss to slowly kiss down her jaw and neck while she leans back and takes some heavy breaths. “I love you and I’m not being so stupid that I let you go. I was stupid to think you meant that little to me, I knew you didn’t but I thought if I told myself I could just find someone else then I wouldn’t hurt so much at the thought of you moving on or being so happy without me.”
He stops to look at her then frowning and moving his thumbs to rub her tears away.
“I love my job, but…when I’m home at the end of the day. It’s like I’m stuck wishing I was with you…it got a little easier the longer time passed. But then sometimes I’d see a post about you, or my mum would mention your parents or an update about you and it felt like I was back to square.” Y/n admits before sighing. “I’d rather try long distance and do everything you said than go back to missing you like that.”
“I’m so glad you said that, because our parents were all rooting for us to get back together.”
“I actually think they might have arranged our marriage when we were kids.”
“I arranged our marriage when we were kids.” Lando corrects before sighing. “Thank you for taking my dumbass back.”
“It’s more for me than you.” Y/n murmurs before he grins and leans down kissing her a couple times.
“Fucking hell, I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” Y/n whispers then laughing when he scoops her legs up to wrap around her waist. “We still have dinner to finish, genus.”
Lando grumbles but doesn’t put her down.
“They’ll get over our absence, I’m sure of it.” Lando declares while she rolls her eyes at him but doesn’t argue because she knows this whole meal was a ploy just to get the two back together after nearly two years of enduring the two being split up.
Honestly, the break up was hard on the families too who were incredibly close after years of having raised their children to be so close. Even going on holidays together through the years, unbeknownst to them that’s what allowed Lando and y/n to end up drunk and losing their virginities to each other. But now, thanks to effort from all parties those awkward moments will be a thing of the past.
At least for now.

Satoru Gojo

You’re not exactly on the best terms with Satoru when your vacation comes to an end. You try to act like you’re fine, but you can’t stand even looking at him. Perhaps you shouldn’t have asked for the reason why he left if you knew you couldn’t handle the truth. Everything with Satoru was doing great until you decided to ask that question. You knew you should’ve left it alone, but curiosity got the best of you.
Satoru knows that he messed up, he knew so long before but now you’re… Even colder towards him. He never really thought that was possible, but you’ve proved him wrong. Maybe it’s because now that he knows that you have a son together, you should communicate more, yet, you don’t talk about anything that doesn’t involve Ren.
Lately that’s the only topic of conversation that he can have with you without you outright ignoring him– And about work of course. Satoru can’t even be mad at you for ignoring him because he knows that he fucked up badly. He thinks that maybe he shouldn’t have told you the truth, but if he keeps hiding stuff then your relationship will end up nonexistent.
“Hey.” He grabs your arm when you’re about to walk past him without saying a word. You glare at him, your look giving him a warning to let go of you. He does just as your eyes tell him. “My mom… Invited you to dinner.”
“Are you crazy? Why would I?” You don’t hold back on giving him attitude, he deserves it and you know he won’t do anything about it. You click your tongue, “You’ve lost your mind.”
“She just wants to see Ren.” He says, but it doesn’t change your mind about anything. You don’t care what she wants to do, she has to learn that she’s not entitled to your child.
“I love how you forgive her so easily. I know that if I was in your situation…” You begin but you end up biting your tongue. He made the right decision. “What does she even want? She can stop by the apartment if she wants to see Ren so badly. The woman is unemployed, she has time.”
“I think she wants to talk about getting a tutor for Ren.” Satoru shares, and you sigh. She’s brought up getting a tutor for your son and you’ve turned her down. Ren is going to start school soon, you just want him to enjoy the time he has left before going to school daily. He knows everything that’s necessary, at least from what you’ve seen.
“Can you tell her to drop it?” You respond, and Satoru takes a deep breath. He doesn’t really want to get in between your issues. He also doesn’t see a downside to a tutor so he can’t really agree with you.
“Why shouldn’t Ren have a tutor? I mean, since you didn’t send him to preschool then–” He says, and you have to cut him off. He’s irritating you more than ever.
“Ren is fine without one, Satoru. I’ve made my decision. This conversation is over.” You tell him, and he clenches his jaw. You walk away, and the man curses under his breath. You hear it though, and you just tell yourself that if he dares stop by, you’ll slam the door in his face.
Tumblr media
“Daddy!” You hear Ren yell. A sigh escapes your lips as you stand in the kitchen. The plan was to not let him in, but you forget that this is his mother’s apartment and he obviously can get entrance easily. You shouldn’t be upset, Ren is happy to see his father… But you really don’t want to spend more time with Satoru.
Perhaps you should consider having split custody but the thought of not having Ren by your side at all times hurts. It’s selfish, but you think you have the right to be selfish after everything. Satoru can’t be the only selfish one here.
You turn off the stove and wipe your hands before walking out of the kitchen. You glare at Satoru as he picks up Ren from the floor, and he begins to talk to his son. Satoru looks at you briefly before looking away. For a man that wants your forgiveness, he sure loves to piss you off, at least that’s what it seems.
“It’s nice to see you, Satoru. Next time send a message.” You say to the man, who smiles at you. You roll your eyes at him, and Satoru bites down his bottom lip. He mutters an apology, but you pretend not to hear it. “I made dinner for two, seems like you’ll have to sit this one out.”
“It’s fine. I’m not hungry.” He lies. He hears his stomach growl but it’s not like he was expecting to have dinner with you and Ren. You do usually make extra though. He doesn’t know why he was expecting differently since he’s not in your good graces right now.
“Are you hungry?” Ren asks, and Satoru shakes his head. However, Ren hears Satoru’s stomach growl again. When you walk away, Ren puts his ear around Satoru’s ear, bringing his little lips to Satoru’s ear, “We can share my dinner.”
“It’s okay, baby. You’re a growing boy, you need it more than me.” Satoru grins. His son really is an angel sent from heaven– Well maybe not that, but he’s certainly sweet. “I’ll just order something, and get you a dessert too.”
“Can it be ice cream?” Ren looks at his father with puppy eyes but Satoru isn’t too sure that getting ice cream delivered is a good idea.
“We’ll see.” Satoru says before putting Ren down on the floor. Satoru puts his hands in his pockets, awkwardly watching as Ren goes to your side. The food you’re making smells so good, and his mouth is salivating.
“Ren, take a seat, baby. I’ll give you your plate.” You tell the boy, and Ren nods in response. He makes sure to grab Satoru’s hand and drag him to the dinner table. Satoru can’t help but notice how Ren grew an inch. That almost brings a tear to Satoru’s eye because the kid is growing up too fast.
It’s awkward to have Satoru sit at the dinner table while you and Ren eat. But Satoru wasn’t invited so he shouldn’t expect to have a plate. Especially when you’re mad at him.
“Can daddy sleep over?” Ren asks you, and you shake your head. There’s no space for Satoru in your home.
“He has his own home, and he has to say hello to his mom and his wi–” Satoru cuts you off before you can get the last word out.
“Yeah, I have to go back home before my own mommy gets worried about me.” Satoru chuckles, and he can’t even believe the words that leave his lips. He doubts his mother would get too worried about him. Only God knows how badly he wants to stay the night, he misses staying under the same roof as his son, but he knows you’d be too uncomfortable. He wishes he could go back to your vacation.
Ren pouts, and you take a deep breath, knowing what’s about to come. However, you’re proven wrong when Ren decides to stay quiet. Instead, he asks for something different a few minutes later, “Can I stay with daddy?”
“As in?” You respond. You have an idea of what he means, but you don’t really want it to be what you’re thinking.
“Can I go to his home and sleep over?” His words hurt your heart but you can’t say no. You don’t feel like you have the right to say no. In the end, Satoru is still his dad and Satoru should be able to have him spend the night.
“If Satoru wants.” You respond, putting down your utensils because your appetite dies down. Satoru smiles at his son and nods, making you take a sip of your drink. You clear your throat and say, “I’ll go pack your bag.”
“I can help–” Satoru begins, but you don’t want nor need his help.
“I’m fine. Just watch Ren.” Your voice is a bit harsher than you mean it to be. You don’t mean to sound mad or upset, yet, that’s what your voice emits. Ren looks at his father, about to ask if you’re upset but he decides to stay quiet.
“Are you excited?” Satoru rubs Ren’s back, smiling big at his son. Ren nods in response. He wonders where his dad lives, and how he lives. He’s not remember his grandmother’s big mansion, plus his father is a grown man, he ought to live separately from his grandmother.
“I don’t want mommy to be upset.” Ren comments, and Satoru sighs.
“She’s not upset, if she was, she wouldn’t have let you go with me.” Satoru claims, and that makes a lot of sense in Ren’s mind so he allows himself to be happy about it. Ren stands up on his chair, looking at the hallway where his bedroom door is. When he knows the coast is clear, he gives his plate to Satoru.
“Since you’re hungry, you can have my leftovers.” Ren says when he sits back down. Satoru laughs before kissing the top of Ren’s head. He really can’t thank you enough for Ren. You’re not even talking to him though, and he has to think of how to fix that because showing up unannounced at your apartment isn’t going to.
“Ren… What’s a gift your mommy would really like?” Satoru can’t believe he’s asking his four-year-old (who keeps reminding everyone that he’s almost five) what to get for you. A couple of years ago Satoru would’ve known immediately, but you’ve changed. The person that knows you better than anyone is your son.
“A puppy.” Ren doesn’t waste a second. Now, Satoru doesn’t know you as well as he did, but what Ren answered sounds like something that Ren wants and not you. Satoru crosses his arms and raises his brows.
“Really? Is that something mommy wants or something Ren wants?” Satoru says, and Ren purses his lips together. How the hell is he supposed to know what you like? Satoru ends up sighing. He’ll figure it out.
He makes sure to finish the food quickly before you get back, putting the plate back on Ren’s side. Satoru ruffles Ren’s hair and stands up to go to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water. Satoru hears,
“Here’s your bag, Ren. Listen to whatever your daddy says.” And Satoru almost laughs at how stoic you sound.
“We’re not leaving yet!” Satoru yells from the kitchen before walking back. Satoru doesn’t really like being in his home for too long, why would he immediately leave? He’s still going to pester you, even if you’re mad at him. “How about we watch a movie here?”
“I mean, it’s not like I can kick you out. You have a key to the place.” You answer. “Knock yourselves out– Hold on, Ren’s plate is too clean.”
“The boy was hungry, what can I say?” Satoru and Ren have been caught red-handed.
“Yeah, little Ren that barely touches his carrots finished them all?” You click your tongue, and Satoru scratches the back of his neck.
“We’ve got a growing boy…” Satoru chuckles, and you roll your eyes.

A little baby blurb for you all <3
______________
Emmeline had a tight grip on your hips as you swayed her exhilarated figure across your chest. You had finally gotten out of the house, a Spiderman backpack adorned by your side, and your daughter babbling on about the day the two of you were about to have.
Despite popular belief, being a single parent was the greatest gift you had ever received. You had Emmeline just shy of three years ago, and she quickly became your best friend through everything. Your daughter was a spitting image of you, but the contributions of your past partner still took over her brown, beady eyes, and gorgeous skin.
Emmeline was shy. She was personal and dainty, and only said what she could in phrases of mumbles to people she wanted close to. In many ways, she was a ray of sunshine, willing to stand out and be bold with friends and family. But she was your baby, your darling girl since you had found out you were pregnant, and she was your biggest priority no matter what.
When you first met Niamh, Emme was the one to tell you that the two of you were meant to be.
The English woman was patient and willing, even when she first found out you had a child to love and care for over her. If anything, she found you all the more endearing. Niamh would take her out for cafe dates, and walk her to and from preschool on the way to training. Emmeline would rant on and on about how Niamh would give her the best tickles, and when your baby was near, Niamh was always not far behind.
Your daughter undoubtedly looked up to the footballer. The first Chelsea game you attended was in the general admission seating, amongst the bustle of enriched fans and excitement radiating through cheers and screams. Niamh spotted the two of you in the crowd, offering you a nimble, modest wave, resulting in Emme giggling into your neck and pointing to the woman, rambling on about how she “wanted to be smart like Mummy but fast like ‘evie.”
Emme had trouble properly pronouncing her words. ‘Niamh’ was proven to be among the difficulties she endured, and all her little mouth could muster was ‘evie.’ It was short, and abbreviated, but full of love and adoration all the same.
After a few more games, watching the girl you were quickly falling for, people began to piece together the subtle clues of your relationship with the Chelsea player.
It all started with a fan taking a photo with Niamh after a game, and you were in the passenger seat, casually looking down at your phone oblivious to the photo being taken. At first, people brushed it off as you being a friend. But then, two weeks later, the same thing happened, but with Emmeline nuzzled underneath Niamh’s puffer jacket, her curly brown hair and reddened cheeks poking out from her collar.
Fans were reeling to piece together who this child was, and why you were all of a sudden showing up to games. The funny thing was that the two of you hadn’t even started dating yet. It was when Emmeline started asking when her Evie would move in, and whether she would ever stay to read her a bedtime story before going back to her place.
It was from there when you spent your weekends covered in a blue jersey with your girlfriend’s last name across your shoulders, forever wrapped around her finger with the warmth of your love and your daughter’s affection.
“Mummy— mummy! Will Auntie Guro be there?” Emmeline was wiping her nose on her sleeve, cradling the soft plushy toy in her arms as you held her closely to your chest. “Auntie Guro, I need to tell her.”
The walk through Chelsea’s facilities were long to say the least. The buildings seemed to prolong for miles, and you knew that if the baby in your arms was to be walking, she wouldn't be in the same, happy mood as she was now. “I'm not sure, Emme baby. Why, what do you want to tell her?”
“Talk about something, Mummy. Haven't seen Auntie in ages.” She dragged out, looking around the corridors in search of anyone she knew. “Will we be able to see Aggie as well? I wanna talk to her too, Mummy, please.”
“They might be busy with the cameras, darling girl.” You answered, finally hearing the familiar laughter of the team.
Today was media day, meaning spouses were allowed to roam the grounds at their own discretion. Emme was feeling good when she found out that she was coming to Niamh’s work with the rest of her aunts to talk to. While this didn't necessarily mean she was free to interact with any of them at any time, Emme was more concerned about simply being in their presence, and this was shown when she caught sight of Niamh sitting on a lounge in front of two interviewers, while none other than Guro sitting next to her.
Immediately, Emmeline squirmed in your grip but knew better than to sprint over to your girlfriend. This wasn't the first time the two of you had made your special appearances during Media allocations, so the girl knew that she wasn't permitted to leave your side and wander off in case she was caught with some unwanted attention.
You were fussed with the media involved in Emme, but you wanted to keep the engagement less on her and more on football. You knew people loved Emme, believe you. But there was sketchy stuff over social media, and you wanted to make sure that even with your daughter spending time with Niamh and her teammates in front of the public eye, it was minimal and harmless. There was never a time when someone would ask you to put her in a video or tell you that people wanted to ask her questions or put her in a position where you couldn't be there to aid and support her. On top of these precautions you implemented, Niamh was also significantly protective over the toddler.
If she was taking photos with fans, and Emme was on her hip, she’d either face the girl away from the camera or hide her in her jacket. You would oftentimes keep Emme with you when the two of you were in the football community, but there were a handful of times when people caught you off guard, and Emme was where nether of you were holding her.
Most of the time, people were accommodating in your rejection of interaction. Sometimes, they’d wait for you to keep Emme by your side before asking for a picture or question. Other times, Emme would latch onto your leg, hiding herself away from the strangers, acknowledging that she wasn't looking for attention.
“Wanna see them, Mummy,” Emme whispered, drawing excited circles along your collarbone. You combed your fingers through her hair, strolling over to where you were behind the cameras, looking to where your girlfriend and your daughter’s favourite Auntie found you in an instant.
Niamh instantly stood up off the couch, bending down to beckon Emme over. You bent down and let her go, laughing at the potent stomps echoed through the indoor establishment and the squeal she let out when falling into her arms.
“If it isn't the main character herself!” One of the interviewers said, the other smiling in adoration as Emmeline wrapped her legs around Niamh’s waist instinctively, making your girlfriend tuck her skirt under her legs, sitting the girl on her lap with her arms encircling the girl’s figure.
“Looking bright as ever, Y/N!” Guro waved brightly towards you. “How are you?”
“Yeah, good. Busy morning with this one.” You replied, a collective laughter ricocheting through the room. “She’ll knock out soon. She’s just had a hot chocolate, and the sugar rush will end.”
“She's so cute.” The Norwegian stated, moving down to make close eye contact with Emme, who was already giggling at the woman’s presence. “Aren't you, vakker? Jeg er din favoritt, ikke sant?” I'm your favourite, aren't I?
“Ja, jeg elsker deg, Auntie Guro.” Yes, I love you.
Guro blushed and cooed at that, kissing your daughter’s nose and pinching her cheeks with a loving smile plastered across her face. Niamh took the jacket off, the warmth of Emmeline’s body heating her enough. You watched the teammates continue their interview, smiling at the subtle wink Niamh sent your way.
They had asked Emme a few questions indirectly, asking you before if it was okay. You agreed, finding Niamh’s prompts completely adorable.
Emme would ramble about stuff that wasn't even related to the question, but Niamh would subtly steer her back in the right direction. If Emme was getting ditsy, she’d bounce her thigh in jitters, sending the toddler back into a relaxed, comfortable state.
As you predicted, Em fell asleep fifteen minutes later, quietly snoring, relishing the patterns Niamh drew on her back, gripping onto Guro’s hand absentmindedly. You had taken a seat behind the set, replying to some emails, half listening to the questions being asked in what seemed to be a podcast of sorts.
When they finished, Niamh and Guro invited you onto the couch, letting you take Emme from Niamh with a peck of her lips.
“If you ever want to spend time without her, I would happily take her,” Guro announced, rubbing the child’s cheek. “Oh, she's so cute. I'm jealous of you, Charles. An adorable baby and a hot girlfriend.”
Niamh shot the woman a testing look, shaking her head at the laughter you let out in response.
“You would give her too many sweets, Reiten,” Niamh replied. You felt a blush creep onto your cheeks when her arms fell across your shoulders. “You wouldn't be able to say no to her.”
Guro scoffed. “Who would be able to say not to such a beautiful baby?”
Niamh chuckled. “Point proven.”
That was the last of Niamh’s duties for today, meaning that the two of you were homebound after a few more minutes of talking with Guro.
You both thanked the crew and other members of staff on the way out, trying your best to be quiet in order not to wake the baby up.
“Where’s your car?” Your girlfriend asked, searching for your keys in the spiderman bag.
“We walked.” You replied, taking Niamh’s keys out of her jean’s pockets and handing them to her.
“No wonder she's so tired, baby. I could of picked you up.”
“She only walked halfway, Niamhy, baby.” You rolled your eyes, sighing. “She's gotten the expectation that someone will carry her whenever she feels like it.”
You threw a pointed glare at the woman, smirking at her guilty face.
“She's a princess.” Niamh retorted. “If her feet are sore, I’ll carry her.”
“She's becoming very demanding, I think.”
“She's a good girl.” She answered, watching as you buckled the sleeper into her seat. “Don't act like you're not demanding at times.”
You scoffed, climbing into the passenger seat with a prominent, joking scowl. “And when have I been demanding, huh? I don't recall asking you to carry me round everywhere.”
“Oh, I can,” Niamh responded smugly. Your eyebrows creased in confusion. “Don't you remember the other night? Acting very demanding and ended up not walking properly the next day… had you begging and shaking for me to—”
“—Yep, okay, thank you.” You snapped, crossing your arms across your chest. “I doubt that if you just had edged for four consecutive orgasms you’d feel inclined to walk around.”
“If you had been good, then you would've just had the orgasms, not the edging.”
“Let's not talk about this with the baby in the car.” You muttered, trying hard not to think about the events of a few nights before.
“Alright, darling. Just remember that good girls get rewards.”
You sighed, your cheeks heating up. “You're a tease, Charles.”
Niamh didn't reply, keeping her hand on your thigh all the way home, making sure to keep her complacent countenance noticeable until you made it home.
“You love me for it.”

im home from work!!!! im never gonna work with jack again apparently so adam = best and favorite coworker. he deserves it
#adam is the new guy not as new as our new delivery driver but new as in a month ago#and jack’s two days off are going to be tuesday and sunday from pretty much now to infinity#it had already been a couple weeks since i saw him until i worked yesterday which is a day i dont normally work#but yknow what it’s okay. because jack was 26 and kept asking me for relationship advice#and i friggin love jack but adam on the other hand is my age and has never asked me for relationship advice. two good traits to have#(as a potential best and favorite coworker)#anyway adam was awesome and the best all night tonight like he got me stuff that i hadn’t even asked for yet and he wrote out my own order#so that it would be ready by the time i had to leave tonight cause i was still a little busy#AND he listened to my bands ep and he said his favorite song was ode to mo and that’s the one i sing and he didn’t even know that#so. there’s a lot of points in favor for adam being cool and awesome and my favorite coworker#that being said jack is still my favorite coworker to the same degree but just. im never gonna see him again#also throughout all this im just not counting alex because we work together once in a blue moon and been friends since preschool#two things that make our relationship very much not one of coworkers. not a fair metric to score them on#but yeah i’ll be working with adam once a week which is so great#also if he ever gets a day off at the same time as me and alex (very doubtful but maybe?) i’ll schedule our next concert for that day#and then put him on the guest list. he very much deserves it he’s like. my third biggest fan#anyway im going to go see my family and maybe go for a walk? but i’ll keep you all posted#sorry did i just say i’ll keep you posted? i probably won’t be able to pretend i didn’t say that#idk i’ll keep you posted if i can but yeah idk i have to go shdhdf bye#but yeah in conclusion adam is best coworker. ok bye#me. my post. mine.#friends only#delete later
