really love that nobody in a position of power at my workplace gives a fuck about covid anymore so they have someone who fully still has covid working today and putting everyone else at risk and we’re all expected to just be cool with it 😁 and my disabled and chronically ill coworker is out with covid now too 😁 and coworkers with immunocompromised family members are ready to walk out because nobody feels like this job is worth putting their loved ones at risk 😁

Why I don't mask (AuDHD rant!!♾️♾️♾️ cw:serious topic, mad tone, might not wanna read if yr having a bad day)

1. I literally can't I dont know how BUT with that being said I wouldn't even if I could for reason 2

2. What it essentially does is force me to both deal with the symptom itself as well as accommodate the people around me. Had a therapist who had a rule, I had to make eye contact during sessions. Something about how it shows your listening, he knew i was but he was trying to teach me to get into that habit. That guy gave me shit about my "fidgeting" too.

He didn't understand that eye contact makes me so uncomfortable I could cry, it was something that needed to be "treated" to him but not accommodated for.

My hardships as an autistic person make neurotypical people uncomfortable because it goes against the social norm and thats not new information, but tell me why the hell i should have to suffer through my sensory issues and be uncomfortable in public all the time as a disabled person for nondisabled people because they dont understand my disability???

Thats not to say I'm against masking, I know why others do it, but for me personally, never (its not like i could if i wanted to tho 👁👁)

Hngh, might have to finally get my passport, pop over the border and go get my tubes tied or removed finally. Can't find anyone fucking willing to do it on a childless person anywhere remotely nearby, AND I can't afford the 15k+ for it, given no insurance.

Got a quote for 1800 for a ligation just a bit ago, well reviewed hospital, too. Hell, it's technically CLOSER to me. Fuck, I can make a vacation out of it, and still likely be able to cover nearly all of it with my damn tax return this year.

I'm just... so fucking terrified in this day in age. I've already got a serious pregnancy phobia, and now with no means of termination here and the current way things seem to want to go, it's only making things worse. I don't want to ever give someone the chance to do that to me.
