A/n: Hello hello readers! As said before, I decided to write Giyu this time :) Please note this is purely my thoughts on Giyu, you may or may not agree, but that's okay! The next post will most likely be next week on Friday.

Giyu. Oh, Giyu.
Just imagine Giyu being so gentle with you.
He's a gentleman fr.
he knows how to treat you right.
memorized all your favorite places.
Giyu, who'll wake you up with kisses on your head, his arms wrapped tightly around you just to stay longer in bed with him.
He adores everything about you, your features, your personality, and you as a person.
Despite his cold appearance, he isn't the loudest at love but it's just perfect.
Acts of service is def his love language. He knows you so well.
He doesn't have to overlook to know something is wrong, he immediately knows. frankly, its almost scary. but he just wants to make sure you're alright.
he tends to do the smallest things that makes your heart do flips.
he likes to keep all the things you give, whether that be A ROCK. a bracelet? hes wearing it. a hair tie? hes using it. a note? hes keeping it.
he doesn't know why, or how he's gotten so attached to you.
There's something about you he can't get enough of. It's probably the way you treat him, like a normal human being. Not everyone can be so kind to Tomioka. You're just one of the few he can actually be himself.
He's a listener than a talker. You guys can sit and talk for hours and he would honestly want more time to talk with you. He can never get tired of you.
Giyu loves when you rest your head on his shoulders. He'll take your hand in his, holding it as he listens to your voice. All the stories you'll tell him. He doesn't open up as you thought, but he can still give you advice or even tell his own stories.
He's your best friend, boyfriend, husband, Giyu is the whole package tbh.
definitely sees you as his future wife.
he wants to see you in a white dress, walking down the aisle as he promises to himself to protect you.
he wants a family with you, only just one tho lol.
one mini you or him, he doesn't mind.
tho if he really had to choose, he'd want a baby girl.
loves to stay up at night to have convos with you.

he loves hugs from the waist.

he doesn't show his playful as much- but he's a tease.

Giyu set his phone down his desk. He only needed 20-ish more minutes before he can clock out. He didn't respond to your message for a good 2 minutes because, what are pads? He looked around his surroundings, making sure no one was looking. With so, he went onto google to search 'pads.' He'll admit, you occasionally bring up being on your period every month but he didn't want to question the whole process so he left it at that. But now he had to go buy some.. pads? Oh his cheeks were clearly a light shade of pink, embarrassed he even had to search up such a thing. Nonetheless, he knew if he did this once it wouldn't be such nerve-racking. He'll know the next time.
"Oh Tomioka, DO NOT get those." a voice behind his ear scoffed, Giyu turned to see a smirk forming on his lips.
"What?" He questioned the other, "I said don't get those. The ones you're looking at are far too big. Look, it says overnight." Giyu turned his back at his phone and realized, 'fuck.'
"Well.. I don't know what size she is.."
A loud laugh left the other boy lips. "SIZE? You're joking Tomio. C'mon you been with y/n for how long and you still haven't bought her pads?" Giyus head shook, he quickly realized that this is something he should know. After all, he listens to you complain how uncomfortable it is sometimes. "No Sanemi. I have not. Care to help since you know so much?"
Sanemi shook his head with a wide grin at the foolish boy. "Nope. I would love to see you get this wrong."
Giyu rolled his eyes and turned the opposite side to continue scrolling, he just sighed. He only needed 10 more minutes and he can just make a quick stop at the store to buy you what you asked.
His shift was over, it was time. Time to buy pads.
Y/n: Hey baby, can you get the overnight ones too if you can?
Giyu: Of course. See you soon.
He shoved his phone in his pocket, tugging at his tie in nervousness. He was infront of what seem to endless counts of pads. He read each one he can carefully. Soon enough, he found a pack he recalled he might've seen once at home. It was risky but he grabbed it. Along with the one he saw online, the overnight ones. 'It'll do.'
Giyu: On my way love.
Y/n: I made dinner before we leave for tonight's party. :))
Giyu thumbs up the message and drove off back home. To you, where he can sigh in relief he managed to buy you pads. In hopes he didn't fuck up. Through the whole car ride, he swore he'd listen to you explain what the fuck pads, a period, everything! he cursed under his breath as he thought of what Sanemi told him earlier, "That damn asshole."
he comes home with a bag, placing it on the table and calling out your name.
you knew what you did. purposely sent him out to buy pads knowing he knew NOTHING of it.
while he was worried, you were clearly in excitement to see what he bought.
To your surprise- he bought both of what you use.
You hug and thank him, that was all he need to sigh a relief.
He managed to do it all himself without the help of his annoying coworker.
He plants a kiss on your head and whispers, "lets go get ready love."
With that, you both arrived at Kyojuros party. :)

Tiny break from my regularly scheduled fanfic art to draw up some STRQ parents, featuring the Ooblecks.
Strangely enough, it was this post about snail color dyes that made me be like... I need a blue, snail-man named Tek in this story right now... but where?! I never named Bartholomew's dad, and they've got slime-based Semblances, so BOOM! It was all downhill from there!
Spoiler-free versions of my character notes for these guys under the cut:
Phyllis “Merryweather” Xiao Long:
Tai’s mother.
Is kind of the unofficial community leader of Patch's social circles.
Her maiden name is in reference to the fairy from Sleeping Beauty.
Her first name is a RvB reference that started as a joke placeholder and accidentally became permanent. 🤣
Yichen Xiao Long:
Tai’s father.
Ran a dojo on Patch.
His name is based off of Chinese characters “Yi” 奕 , meaning “great: and “Chen” 辰 meaning “early morning/ sun/ dragon of the Chinese zodiac… which is in reference to Taiyang’s own name meaning “great or little sun dragon” (—buuut IDK Chinese so all this is speculative Google searching on my part).
Sheila Oobleck:
Bartholomew’s mother and Phyllis’ best gal pal.
She loves gossip and wears yellow. She crashes any car she gets behind the wheel of.
Her name is PURELY and INTENTIONALLY a RvB reference! Semblance is strictly cosmetic, like Bakugo's mom.
Tekhelet “Tek” Oobleck:
Bartholomew’s father.
Archaeologist, studies ruins. Wears Blue.
Semblance would probably be related to the slime from snail trails. His name is a color Blue, based on a stray tumblr post (see above) I saw about blue dyes, Tyrian purples, snails, and Jewish historical fun facts.
Zariyah “Gale” Rose:
Summer’s mother.
She was kind and gentle, had an angelic singing voice, and baked a mean batch of cookies.
Her Semblance was akin to a “gentle breeze”.
Both her names are a reference to “wind”.
Ryley Rose:
Summer's father.
His Semblance allowed him to grow seeds into flowers just in the palm of his hand (though they died shortly after). If used on seeds in the ground, his Semblance instead helped the vegetation grow stronger and healthier than it ever would have on its own.
His name means “rye clearing” in homage to his Semblance and “growing crops” as a farmer.
Heron Branwen:
The twins' father.
He is the leader of the Branwen bandit tribe.
His Semblance is "Positive Outlook" - a precognitive ability to alter probability and bring about the most beneficial outcome through visions of differing scenarios.
Ardent:
The twins' mother.
She was said to like tea and birdwatching; had red eyes, an explosive temper, and was good with a sword.
I always thought her Semblance might have something to do with shadow-based teleportation.
Her name is one I use in fics sometimes because it's unique-sounding. It means "burning; enthusiastic, passionate" and I believe is also a shade of Red.

Sundays With A Twist
Summary - Mark Lee is just another college student who wishes that his Sunday goes according to plan, but what happens when he disappears in a cloud of blood red smoke?
Genre - Mythology
Warning - None, except bad jokes
Normal Sundays do not end up with you being in the midst of demons and wild creatures, but hey you're Mark Lee, normal is just not your cup of tea.
Sundays were Mark's favorite. Sundays were everything he was not - calm, collected, peaceful, stress-free. As usual he woke up at 4am, did his morning routine, almost slipped on Haechan's discarded clothes and left home to be done with his new song before the weekend gets over.
Humming his new song, Mark strolled the streets, on his way to the studio. He expected to do a lot of things today:
1. Finish the new song
2. Buy a new notebook (after Haechan spilt coffee on the last one)
3. Pick up his guitar from the shop (which Haechan should have payed for)
4. Submit his assignments
5. Actually get eight hours of sleep (probably not possible because someone keeps shouting and smashing keyboards at 3 in the morning!!!!!)
Wow, Haechan was a menace, but unfortunately there’s nobody else other than his childhood best friend to split the bills with. If there was something not included in his schedule, it was to be whisked away in smoke by a couple of teenagers.
In the middle of the streets of New York, Mark started turning into smoke. Not just regular, white, dustless smoke, but a blood red one.
He shouted, cried and screamed for help, but the pedestrians just walked through him, like he wasn't there.
Mark evaporated into the air and traveled as nothing more than just atoms and molecules into the depths of the earth. It was all too much for him. Like seriously? Does sleep deprivation really make you hallucinate this much? No, right? But, who knows? Maybe he should Google it.
After about what felt like a milli-second, Mark became human again, in the middle of a red, endless dessert.
Looking around, Mark slapped his face once, twice, thrice. Yet, he didn't wake up.
"Dude, why am I not waking up?" Mark questioned, slapping his face a couple more times.
"That's gonna bruise after some time," said a voice he didn't recognise.
Mark looked around, searching for the owner of that meek voice.
"You'll need to apply some ointment on that," said a short boy with impish features who emerged from the shadows.
"Hi, I'm Renjun, sorry for summoning you"
"Yeah, sorry for summoning you, we didn't know what else to do" said a taller boy with flaming orange hair and a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, what the heck?"Mark questioned
"Where am I? Why am I here? Who are you? What do you mean summoned? And what is that foul smell?"
"Could you go slower, we're not fluent in human language, yet" said a tall, muscular guy with spotless white hair.
"Yeah, what he said" voiced two new boys, one who was tall, lean and had pink hair and a boyish charm and the other, who was shyer, taller and looked like he hadn't eaten for days.
"Excuse me, can you wake me up? I've got a lot to do and I'm not wasting my time hallucinating. Hellooo, God?" Mark called out, looking up, thinking that God was up there somewhere saying "This is what you get when you don't sleep"
"Is this a good time to tell you that God kind of went on vacation, he won't be back till the spring fest."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,VERY FUNNY!!" Mark laughed, "Now , if we could speed it up a bit, I would like to wake back up"
"I don't think he understands us,"said the shy one.
"You’re Mark, right?" asked the orange haired boy
"If you're going with my English name, then yeah..."
“Great, you just need to help us with this programming and then you'll be sent back“
"You're kidding, right? 'Cause computers and I don't go anywhere near each other, I don't even know how to shop online, bro!" Mark exclaimed.
"You are Mark from facebook, right"
"Excuse me? No, how would I be Mark Zuckerberg? I'm not even American, dude!"
"Huh?" they all collectively said together.
"Just a minute please" they said and disappeared into thin air.
What was with the obsession with disappearing into the air lately?
"Sooooo" they said, reappearing.
"So?" started Mark.
"We may or may not have accidentally mistaken you for someone else and we can't send you back."
"Sorry for the trouble, but hey we can be friends," said the shortest one.
"Yeah, I'm Chenle, son of Hermes," introduced the boy with green hair.
"Hi! Jaemin, son of Aphrodite. Welcome to the club, dude!" Said the pink-haired boy excitedly.
"Nice to meet you, I’m Jisung, son of Hermes," the shy one mumbled.
"I'm Renjun, son of Athena, Goddess of wisdom and warfare, and that's Jeno, son of Ares, God of War," said the shortest one.
"Well, I'm Mark Lee, a college student who survives on a lot of caffeine and watermelons. Nice to formally meet you, I guess?" Questioned Mark with raised eyebrows.
"So, is there any way you can teach us about programming?" asked Jeno, who Mark assumed must be their brawns.
"Yeah, if you have fulfilled the purpose we called you here for, then you're free to go, that's how the magic works" explained Renjun, who obviously was the brains.
"Well, I might know someone who's currently studying programming in college"
"Really? If he can help us out, then you both would probably be free to go"
"Let's summon him now, what's his name?"
"Lee Haechan," smirked Mark, knowing that this would be enough for all the times Haechan stabbed him in the back and annoyed the living daylights out of him.

Okay fine I’ll do one of these (because I like to talk about myself hehehe). Thanks @roboobin for tagging me B)
A very long ‘get to know me’ post below…
Last song: Apparently it was ‘Two Time’ - Jack Stauber, according to Spotify? I’ve also been relistening to a few tracks from Falsettos all day, for some reason. ‘I’m Breaking Down’ got stuck in my head somehow. I’m not super big on musical theater, but I LOOOOVE Falsettos and especially Trina :) You can probably tell I have a certain type of favorite characters/media lol.
Favorite color: Light greyish blue (or white, grey, silver, orrrr light greyish green?)
Last movie: I actually have no idea. Maybe Nimona with my IRLs a few months ago? I almost NEVER watch movies in full because I get bored of them easily. Sorry I know that’s so lame lololol
Currently watching: A commentary YouTube video to use as background noise while I do my writing assignments lol. Like I said, I don’t really watch a lot of movies or TV :/
Currently reading: Nothing, unfortunately! I haven’t read any books/stories in an embarrassingly long time :( I am so ridiculously busy and haven’t had the time/motivation to read and get invested in new characters. I have a bunch of series I want to reread for nostalgia purposes, though. I’m also strangely tempted to read the Animorphs series? LOL. I looked it up on AO3 for the first time a few months ago while in the kids’ section of the library with my IRLS and we were assessing the popularity of kids’ books based on the amount of AO3/Wattpad fics (btw, there are a shockingly low amount of Geronimo Stilton fics in the world). I wasn’t expecting there to be an Animorphs fandom, but there IS? And the fics are really GOOD even though I don’t know the source material? Anyway. Tempted to read it because I like putting teens in situations /lh. Also I want to read more short stories! Send me recommendations, if you have any.
Last thing I googled: This is so embarrassing. ‘Bathroom cruising’ LMAOOOO. I was just writing a funny bit, but I wanted to make sure it was accurate, okay? T_T Other recent searches include my voice lesson Lieder, various areas I’ve felt pain recently (because I’m a hypochondriac /lh), and a vlog I had to watch for my job… I was writing an article about it.
Sweet/spicy/savory: Savory. Every time. I love savory foods, and they’re basically the only types of food I ever crave. Then I would go with spicy, but only if it’s spicy in a flavorful way (and not just a painful way). I don’t like sweet foods except for chocolate—and, even then, I am infamous among my friends and acquaintances for only liking SUPER dark chocolate… like 70% cocoa or more. I would say my favorite flavor profile is bitter! :)
Current obsession: I think y’all already know :^) I am incapable of having more than one strong interest at once, soooo DnDads has quite literally been occupying my brain since liiiike October 2022… almost a year ago now! o_o Holy shit. I’ve been really busy with work and school in the past month or so, so I haven’t done basically anything else in my free time. I’d like to start cross stitching again because I have some projects to finish, and I got some of my late grandmother’s jewelry-making supplies recently, so I’ll toy around with that, too.
Currently working on: Like, right this second? Discussion post replies for my Writing in Digital Environments course :p In general? As far as hobbies go, the beginnings of my next longfic chapter! As far as work goes, I’m working on article about a mural. I have to drive like 30 mins to get a features image for it tomorrow ugh. At least I get to kill time on the clock :’)

With a gentle voice and an even gentler hand, you place your fingers lightly on the shoulder of the mutant sitting beside you in your office, offering reassurance to them. Now was the opportunity you had been searching for, they were confiding in you, and they were beginning to trust you.
And they didn’t know it yet, but they would follow you to the ends of Alternia, too, in due time.
“I’m grateful that you felt comfortable enough to tell me this, it must have been difficult.”
“Y-yeah… yeah, it was, but… well, I know you wouldn’t judge me. Us mutants always have each other, right?” Their wide, hopeful eyes look up and into yours.
“Of course,” you reassure, “you will always have support with us here. I would never turn my back on you.” You offer them a small, kind smile.
A twitch of their own smile flashes across their features in return to yours and their shoulders slump visibly, as if hit with a wave of relief by the affirmation.
These trolls are always the same; different packaging on the same core components. Well, some of them had bells and whistles, so to speak. You were always especially pleased when those ones would follow your lead.
No time to waste with inner musings though, the train of thought passing you by in a matter of seconds.
With a hint of purple glow falling upon their face, you start the process of rooting yourself in their mind. Nothing like the thrill of control.
“I think, after everything you have told me, we can both tell that even your friends are a danger to you, as sad as it is to admit.” You sound sorrowful, as if your heart were breaking for them while you stated this fact.
Their features slacken, just a touch. “My friends... Are a danger?”
‘Open to it, but not sure,’ You observe, ‘Another nudge then it is.’
“Only someone close to you could have hurt your lusus in such a way, my friend. If they came for your custodian, they may come for you.” Reassuring and soft-voiced, as if you don’t want to upset them. “Going home could very well put your life at risk.”
A slow, dazed nod, “Yeah, you’re right Null… I don’t.. want to get hurt. I deserve to live.”
They haven’t broken eye contact since you started your manipulation. They’re already struggling to form thoughts you haven’t instructed them to and they hang on your every word.
As expected, this one was very vulnerable. Weak-minded.
“Then stay with us, you will be safe here.” Your eyes have gone to their fully natural color, deep black, and vibrant purple.
“I’ll stay with you, so I’m safe.” they agree, without hesitation.
“You trust me.” It's a fact.
“I trust you.” They confirm.
You snap your fingers and they blink a few times, coming back to themself. They trust you implicitly now.
“Thank you for letting me stay here, Null, it means a lot.”
You smile again, “Happy to help, my friend.”

WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 MOST USED APPS ON YOUR PHONE?
"Ahh..." His voice trails off, reaching for his phone inside the pocket of his leather jacket. "I don't know if I should answer this honestly, or pretend that I'm a chronic cell-phone user. Am I too boring?" He unlocks the phone screen with ease, swiping through the pages where the applications were positioned next to each other. "I had a conversation with a friend about how it's frustrating when an application accidentally moves on the screen and your mind either recalls where the application was before, or takes a bit to get used to the new placement." He presses his lips into a firm line, thumbing the power button to lock the screen. "But that happens in a while because I've been using my phone less. I would say... I use KakaoTalk the most, Melon comes second, Youtube is in third place, Naver or Google will be fourth, and sadly, my university application will be in fifth place to submit my assignments two minutes before midnight." He softly laughs, straightening his posture for a moment before relaxing once more on the stool. "I would recommend moving the applications around on your phone. It becomes apparent which applications you should start using less."
WHAT IS THE MOST RANDOM NOTE IN THE NOTES APP?
"I'm probably not the only one that opens the notes app, writes something, and then forgets about it, right?" After his facial identification declines, he unlocks the phone with the passcode, scrunching his nose slightly whilst he scrolls through the first few notes. "If I'm not carrying my journal with me, I tend to use the notes app to write ideas that come to me or unfinished lyrics." He skipped through all the late-night musings he had, especially the ones he wrote when he was barely awake. He didn't want to embarrass himself. "I have a recipe for how to make rice without a rice cooker. It's all over the place... I don't think I've ever tried to make it, and this recipe doesn't seem to be useful. Wait— did I even write this?" Maybe it was best if he deleted it unless he wanted to set his dorm on fire.
WHAT WAS THE LAST MESSAGE OR CALL YOU’VE RECEIVED AND WHO WAS IS FROM?
"The last message I received was from my father. His contact profile is saved under '사장님.' I was letting him know that I wouldn't be able to pick up any more work shifts for the rest of the year. He answered that he understood and a 'thumbs up' emoji. He is not really talkative over the phone." He nods his head, crossing his arms over his chest while he switches focus without being prompted. "My sister called me after the concert and was teasing me about being on stage for the final concert. It's her way of saying I looked cool on stage. She asked me if I could get signatures from the V&A members and I hung up the call. Sometimes, it's best to keep sibling moments sweet and short, you know?"
WHAT WERE THE LAST 5 SONGS THAT YOU’VE LISTENED TO?
Finally, a question that he would enjoy answering. His facial features brighten when he unlocks the phone to search for his newest playlist. "I have a playlist for pretty much anything, but my playlist for when I commute anywhere is my favorite. The last five songs that I listened to on my way to the company were: 'joke!' by Se So Neon, 'Diamonds + And Pearls' by Hyunbin, Shin, and Seohan, 'MIA' by Gemini, Camo, and Woodz, 'Anemone' by Lee Youngji and Layone, and the newest addition is 'Rush Hour' by Crush and J-Hope." He beams at the person in front of him, slightly tilting his head when he sways on the stool from subdued excitement. "I would recommend any of those songs if you want to spice up your playlist, especially the one by DBSD members."
WHAT WERE THE 5 MOST RECENT ONLINE SEARCHES?
"My most recent searches were: guitar lessons because I've been thinking about learning an instrument on my own, fleece jacket is self-explanatory and not exciting, LGC Family Concert—" He pauses, lifting his hand to scratch at his cheek before a soft laugh escapes past his lips. "I wanted to see if videos were uploaded of the performances I took part in. I promise that I'm not narcissistic. I was just proud." He gives the other person a one-shoulder shrug, glancing back down at the phone screen. "Also, I have searched yaksha: ruthless operations, and do mosquitos die after drawing blood. The last one is a myth, but I had a bet with my brother that they didn't die. He owes me a coffee whenever we see each other."

Move follows criticism of #ElonMusk after #ThereIsHelp feature disappeared from searches

#Twitter has restored a feature that promoted #suicideprevention hotlines and support groups after its CEO #ElonMusk was criticized over their removal.
The feature, known as #ThereIsHelp, placed a banner at the top of search results for certain topics and listed contacts for organizations in numerous countries related to #mentalhealth, HIV, vaccines, child sexual exploitation, #Covid-19, gender-based violence, natural disasters and freedom of expression.
Reuters reported on Friday that the feature was taken down a few days ago.
Twitter’s head of trust and safety, Ella Irwin, confirmed the removal and called it temporary. Irwin said: “We have been fixing and revamping our prompts. They were just temporarily removed while we do that. We expect to have them back up next week.”
Irwin said: “Google does really well with these in their search results and are actually mirroring some of their approach with the changes we are making.” She added: “We know these prompts are useful in many cases and just want to make sure they are functioning properly and continue to be relevant.”
Musk, who did not initially respond to requests for comment about the removal, had tweeted: “False, it is still there.” In response to criticism by #Twitter users, the billionaire also wrote that “#Twitter doesn’t prevent #suicide.”
The initial removal had led some consumer safety groups and #Twitter users to express concerns about the wellbeing of vulnerable users on the platform.
Eirliani Abdul Rahman, who had been on a recently dissolved #Twitter content advisory group, said the disappearance of #ThereIsHelp was “extremely disconcerting and profoundly disturbing”. She added even if it was only temporarily removed to make way for improvements, “normally you would be working on it in parallel, not removing it”.

Musk has previously said that impressions, or views, of harmful content are declining since he took over the company in October and has tweeted graphs showing a downward trend, even as researchers and civil rights groups have tracked an increase in tweets with racial slurs and other hateful content.
