Sort of!! The skirts that I liked were a couple sizes too small and there weren't any denim jackets I liked, which is a bummer. However!! I did find some knick-knacks!! I don't have good pictures right now, but I got:

2 different bunny statues !! One is a little bunny girl sitting on a fence, the other is two bunnies on a tree swing!!

A mug that says "I love you beary much", that my mom made me pay the 2$ for since she found it so tacky she refused to pay for it

A tray with an old Vogue magazine cover print on it, that will go wonderfully with my lightswitch cover (which is pinup art of two shirtless sailor men arm wrestling)

A small carnival mask that hangs on the wall!! It is very cute!!

I did have to buy one skirt since they didn't have change rooms and it looked like it would fit me, but sadly it was too small :( It's so cute though!!! It's a pastel green plaid and I love it so much that I might hang on to it and try to resize it!!

Finally made the cacao into a smoothie w red pepper flakes, cinnamon, couple slices of ginger, cornmeal, and an apple banana and it is so good omg

Tried first without the banana and was great too, but far more rich and savory to drink more than a few sips before full lol basically in comparable tier to like ceremonial matcha, so figured it'd help to round it out into something a bit more casually drinkable

#also found out apparently the single serving blender i got from goodwill awhile back is trash lol the spokes to spin the blade broke off #after like 20 seconds of blending. and then my immersion blender's motor's apparently given out now too #thankfully the full pitcher blender is still fine it's just so much more annoying to pull out and to clean for literally 1.5 cups lol

the allergy i am seeing grow up around small talk in any form is troubling to me. do you know how to make friends with people in your physical environment? it typically starts with small talk. do you want to live in community? small talk. do you want to have the type of relationship with your neighbors where you can run over and borrow a battery for your smoke detector when it starts beeping at 10pm? small talk!! do you want leeway from your coworkers when you fuck up something small? you gotta be able to build a relationship and that's small talk, baybeee.

"but i don't need friends and i don't care about community!" okay, lone ranger, what about the people in your community who need you? "but i have social anxiety!" me too, bud! we simply must soldier on. making up lists of questions to ask people helps. and people are predisposed to be generous, i've found. even if you make some kind of mistake, what is this but the natural give and take of human interaction? nobody is perfect.

you were not put on this earth to live by yourself and then die. you need people and people need you. treat those around you with curiosity and generousness of spirit and you will gain so much goodwill in return.
