The Loki series isn't just about romantic relationships and shouldn't be seen as so. However, there is a lot of subtext. Maybe this ship is not canon, but it was intended to be seen as so by the fans.

If Lokius isn't canon, then why were the last two shots of the series showing Mobius and Loki?

If Lokius isn't canon, why would there be so much touching and scenes so physically close to one another? (believe me I know they're friends. that just offers a solid base for something more)

If Lokius isn't canon, why is there an OFFICIAL track named like that?

Why is said track played or incorporated in different scenes of the series? like

-the first McDonalds meeting with Sylvie,

-the back-in-time conversation with Kang

- the ASCENSION to the throne?

Why is the Sylvie and Loki kiss never mentioned, by the producers, in the series per se, or even in the season 1 recap?

Why is Mobius the only one looking at Loki when he leaves down to the temporal loom?

And the other way around, why did Loki only make eye contact with Mobius in that scene?

Why is Mobius the only one to notice there is something wrong when Loki is still trying to fix the Loom?

Why did Mobius/Don on the original timeline, mention he's single, trust a complete stranger, invite him for a drink, AND offer to sell him a quite personal jet-ski?

Why did Loki, the LITERAL GOD OF MISCHIEF stutter and fix his hair and coat for no one else but Mobius (who by the way is just a jetski salesman on that timeline)?

Why is the timeslipping Loki had to go through directed to Mobius twice, him being the the only one he doesn't need a TemPad to "recruit"?

Why would Loki bring up Thor and Jane if it wasn't to mirror him and Mobius? (because, as he already was talking to Sylvie, he certainly wasn't implying it's about her. They were arguing, AND Mobius was implied in the conversation. Loki defended him in front of Sylvie, in case you forgot.)

Why would Mobius's voice be the one to echo back to Loki on his throne? let time pass time pass time pass

Why the RAINBOW?

WHY DID LOKI LOOK AT MOBIUS RIGHT BEFORE THE FAMOUS LINE "IT'S ABOUT WHO"? (important mention: Sylvie was behind him when he said that. why didn't he just turn around when saying it? nope, they know what they're doing)

Why is the shot cut to Mobi after Loki's "it was more about what I wanted" line?

Why the shot where 7 characters could've been showed (Mobius, Loki, Sylvie, B-15, Casey, O.B., Victor Timely) there are only 2: Mobius and Loki?

Why is Mobius the only one to tell Loki he can be someone good, and the first one Loki actually believes despite his tendency to do the other way around in the past?

Why does Mobius finally find insight, and reinvent his whole life at the TVA because Loki helped him do so? (they're not even the first Loki variant he faced, but something clicked this time)

Why does the bloody sleeve, representing Loki being hurt by Sylvie just because he "wore his heart on his sleeve" disappear on episode 2? (because he finally understands who he needs to be next to)

Why did Mobius risk his life on the first episode?

Why did Loki go to past Mobius for the final advice, not to the present one, not to Sylvie?

Why did Loki ultimately sacrifice his life for the ones he loves?

And why is Mobius left alone, with the door locked, after Loki leaves in the Loom's radiation?

Why would there be so much endearing looks, and smiles at each other, if not for a conscious acting choice?

Why why why why why if it isn't canon?

Nothing is for nothing. Especially in television, where everything counts from the light to the angles and the way the lines are spoken.

We don't need to see two characters kiss to know they are made for one another. In fact, I think implied canon is so much better for now, because it leaves free interpretation for the fans, and nothing to strike on for the haters.

Of course, that doesn't change the fact that the ending is still tragic, although it holds its sweet from bittersweet. But remember: there aren't tragedies without love.

Why Lokius Should Have Been Canon

This is a sort of combo of two metas that didn't quite get point my across. Some parts will be copied directly, but there's a lot of original content. I will discuss the ship between Loki and Mobius, their place in the show, and the MCU at large. My focus for this meta won't be parallels or motifs, because these things border on well-written friendships. But there will be some of that.

Romance in the MCU

There are a lot of straight couples in the MCU. (Almost) Every main hero is in some heterosexual relationship, Loki included.

(That's not all, not remotely).

But in the LGBTQ+ department... uh.. I think it was mentioned that Valkyrie had a girlfriend... uh... America Chavez had a pride pin... and Loki:

One line. Queer experiences are never a focal point of a show/movie the same way heterosexual experiences are. And that needs to change.

Romance In the Show

Wrong, toxic, or unsuccessfu romantic love is a recurring theme in the show.

Sylki

Sylki was an icky relationship right off the bat. They are the same person. I can't find the post at the moment, but someone has pointed out in their post that them being the same person is referenced in every episode in season 1 (edit: here it is), which is when the romance took place. This made their romance uncomfortable for many viewers.

(Some consider Sylki a toxic relationship, but for this post, the topic is too large to handle with the nuance I'd like to handle it with).

When he's drunk, Loki compares love to a dagger, stating that it hurts you, but when you try to find strength in it, it's not real.

Which is exactly what happens. Sylvie pushes Loki into a portal and they never get back together.

The Love Triangle

In 02×03, Ravonna Renslayer is infatuated with Victor Timely, but he leaves her behind and betrays her when Miss Minutes told him to. One episode later, we discover that they were indeed an item, and established the TVA together. He Who Remains deleted her memories and they never rekindle their love.

Later in the episode, is the best example of "wrong" romance in the show. Miss Minutes, the AI clock, confesses her love to Viktor Timely. He, obviously, freaks out and shuts her off. Nothing ever comes of this.

Brad and Dox

This one is small, but a big indication to romance being a theme. In 02×01, we're shown this:

The gap in the age of the actors is uncomfortable, and a character in universe has this reaction to it. It is never mentioned again.

So what does all of this leave us with? Not much. None of this properly ties to the finale, or anything really. If I were to write the show I would cut a lot of this out, since it serves no purpose. But it does make you keep romance and its shortcomings in mind. The writers want it to be there, in the back of your head.

Loki and Mobius

Finally! I got to talk about them. The two people in question. First things first, who are they, together? They became really supportive, close friends.

Fans even drew parallels to Chaos & Order, which is a very important theme in Loki. But I'm not here to unpack them. These things don't necessarily make them in love. So what does make them in love? I'll present you my evidence, and you ask yourself,

Would it be valid to suggest romantic implications if a man and a women are:

1) Extremely thouchy with each other.

2) Riding on a tandem bike together.

3) Willing to suffer a fate worst than death for another.

4) Falling on each other after that^

5) Literally the Interrupted Declaration of Love trope. (Ex)

6) Being framed in a circle.

7) Waiting & giving permission to attack.

8) Fixing themselvs before seeing the other.

Of course yes. Maybe you think some of these are a strech, but ultimately, people would point out romantic connotations across the board. And I'm here, pointing them out right now. Some scenes between Loki and Mobius have romantic implications.

Conclusion

Loki is a queer protagonist in the MCU, a universe that lacks representation of queer experiences. His show constantlty reminded us of romance, sometimes for seemigly no reason. In the second season, they wrote him and his best friend with romantic implications. And then, nothing. It should not have been nothing. Lokius should have been canon.

Victor, my boy. He is trapped in that town since he was a kid, but it is also his home. He lost his mom, his sister, but he is trying, he is trying as he did but failed all those years ago. And people think that he has something wrong with him but he is trapped in his memories- but he forgets and so he draws and it is all so heartbreaking.

Randall can go fuck himself.

Jade is an asshole, selfish fucking prick, but I love him and he screams at haunted dolls and wears kitty t-shirts and has hallucinations of soldiers and dead men :3

Sara is the tortured oracle but she did pull a knife on a kid, following the instructions of those voices and I know being trapped in a town that won't let you leave will make you desperate but yeah...i haven't been able to look past that.

(She is desperately trying to make up for it and she feels so guilty and so much pain...maybe next season I will warm up to her again)

Elgin may you have the strongest plot armour.

Yeah totally, season 1 was more structured. I think in trying to mount horrors upon horrors, they over did it. It could have been the night creatures + something about the dream dimension. Or night creatures + the mystery of the forest. But they went creatures + lighthouse+ radio + dreams + ballerina + dolls and + and + and + and +....

It didn't really settle. Hoping season 3 would be better.

3. a character that fandom has helped you appreciate

Carlo from TO München. Now, to explain: after watching maybe two or three episodes of the München team at random, I pretty soon jumped into watching the full scope of them chronologically. Which means, nearly my first taste of Carlo was his absolute worst: Carlo in the early 90s was more often than not written to be unnecessarily rude, lazy, racist, or downright creepy about women - I think he mostly served the purpose of giving Franz and Ivo the chance to look positive by contrast. So I initially didn't like him all that much. Since then, I've come to appreciate his later developments and the moments when he's the one who shines in comparison. Sorry, Carlo; you're a good guy. You just served as the writers' trashcan early on.

4. say something nice about a ship you don't ship (it can be another ship in your fandom, a mutual's OTP, etc)

I don't quite manage to ship Emilia Alvarez / Nika Banovic because I enjoy Emilia's on-screen presence as the hottest Mrs. Robinson around who leaves a string of heartbroken younger men in her wake, and Nika strikes me as more of a monogamous kind of gal. But I will admit that they have a very nice canon chemistry and are definitely the collective voice of reason in comparison to Mr. I-won't-talk-to-my-coworkers-and-if-it-literally-kills-me and Mr. Impulse-control-whomst.

8. you hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

I wish more people were aware that Charité has three seasons, not one. Granted, season 2 is also my unchallenged favorite because I think it does by far the best character work, but I still like every season on its own merits. No 1 purpose of Charité as a show was telling medicine history, and I think it's better for telling different parts of it.

9. a ship that isn't your OTP but that you enjoy

Thorsten Lannert / Victor de Man from Tatort Stuttgart is really steamy, okay? I don't want to see Thorsten with Victor in the present; I want him to get over that smug douchebag and smooch Sebastian silly already, but the fucking sparks the very second Victor shows up on screen for the first time. It's really fun to watch, I'll give them that.

So, I have rewatched Bia...

Some good news: I liked it way more than the first time! It's something with dcla shows, they need a rewatch to be appreciated more.

They do a lot of things right in this show and I see how much they cared and what they were trying to achieve with it. But, there big thing is that a lot is left unanswered. There's so much left to explore.

I think there's been a plan to have a third season, but due to the pandemic, it wasn't possible, so they had to wrap up everything quickly. But... they just did so weirdly!!

The Helena situation reminds me a lot about the Angie situation in S1 of Violetta. We as viewers know the truth the whole time, and we just wait for the characters to know. The difference here is that, Violetta finds out in season 1, and then is aware Angie is her aunt for the rest of the show. Watching S2 you almost forget she ever kept it a secret. But in Bia... she doesn't know until literally THE LAST TWO MINUTES. Again, I think the plan was to make a third season, and in that season they'd explore how it is now that Bia knows, plus Helena telling everyone else.

But it doesn't take away the fact that

PAULA HAS NOT FOUND OUT LUCAS WAS DRIVING!! Sure, Victor DID tell her and she didn't believe him. But if he told her again, or if anyone else told her, she'd probably believe them that time.

What was up with the last scene of Victor and Helena??

"Whatever happens, I love you" to Thiago is so odd too, if Helena wasn't gonna leave anyway

So much else I can't remember with right now!!

With Bia, for me, I feel like there's always a buildup to "bigger" events. Bigger events that never end up happening. It feels like a lot of the time I felt like "that's it? That's all they're gonna do?"

At the same time, there's a lot of good ideas here. Bia does fix a lot of problems previous shows had, and that's good! But despite doing that, I don't feel as entertained as I am with the other shows. I've discussed before that I feel like the humor in this show is more planned. They SAY stuff that sound silly and funny, but they don't act on it. And when they act on it, it's for a video where they do a challenge, where it's planned humor, where you expect someone to get cake in their face or decorate a guitar in a silly way. And maybe this makes the show more realistic - absolutely. But... I don't know, for me, I just didn't find it as funny as previous shows.

I also think that, just because a show "fixes the problems of the previous ones" does not automatically make it "better". Sometimes, a show can be TOO perfect, and then it can almost become boring because what's there to discuss? It's weird, because, of course I don't WANT stupid decisions, but... sometimes characters need to act a little stupid for something to happen. And when they act stupid here, it's either due to a pretty reasonable reason, or not so stupid as they first find it to be, or it's solved quickly.

I also do not think social media plots are that interesting. It IS relatable, because we all have seen youtubers like the ones at Laix, for example. Youtube drama like this happens. But I just don't find social media plots as interesting. I never found the social media plots as fun in the previous shows, either. The only thing interesting is that, watching the shows in chronological order, you see how social media evolves.

With all of this said, I need to say I think a majority of the characters are really charming and fun to see. They have great chemistry with each other, and I root for almost everyone to succeed. The characters I don't like are characters you're supposed to not like, and even then, they humanize most of them so you can see why they act the way they do.

Ships wise, I'm not as invested as in previous shows, but I do find most ships cute. Binuel is the most healthy main character pairing and they are adorable. Thiana has my heart, I love their progression. Daisy and Pietro are really cute, too. I think Pixie is a lesbian, but I like the dynamic between her and Luan.

I'm sorry to say, I do not like Chiara and Guillermo. I don't know what the general thought about them are, since the Bia fandom is significantly smaller than the others, but I get uncomfortable with their age gap and I didn't really feel it between them at all.

I don't think any relationship Alex had was that fun either. Carmín and Mara should've dated each other, thank you.

So... this was how I felt about Bia after this rewatch. A lot of missed potentials that I am not sure if I could blame the writers, because I think they WANTED another season but couldn't. IF they had another season, I think all plots could have been solved, nothing would have felt rushed and they could have brought everything together in a nice knot. As I mentioned, I always waited for something bigger to happen, and then I never felt like it did. But it's still a very sweet show and I can see the love they put into it!

Episode 1: Welcome to the new world

Quick description: This is just my idea for sequel of season 1. This is just my idea of it and I tried to make them in characters, so there will be no shipping here.

Any critique in the nice and polite way will be accepted.

I hope you enjoy it :D

We begin where we end the last episode in season 1. They were driving at very high speed something that was almost impossible. Kay who was a leader of the fastest train in Train world looked already tired.

It was the hardest challenge he had to face. Behind him was his companion and friend Duke who also seemed to be tired despite didn't showing it. However that doesn't stopped Kay to give up already, he failed once and his friends and all other trains count on him. They were almost close, since they saw a tunnel which means end of this Intercontinental Railroad. 3... 2... 1... Boom!! Kay and Duke finally reached the new world... Their mission was finally over.

- We did it Duke... - said Kay relief - WE DID IT!!!

He screamed that the new world would heard him in that distance.

The black train looked at the blue companion and surprisingly to him, he smiled.

- Kay, we... Better energize ourselves. We already wasted almost energy to the Intercontinental Railroad.

- Right!

They kneeled down and energized. During the energizing, Kay got a contact from one of his friends.

- Kay? Did you two reached the new word? - said a female voice on call

- We did it Selly! - Kay happily said to her

- Really?! We will be almost there. Hang on.

- You better energize yourself before you get here - said Duke interrupting the call - This almost costed us all of our energy, you would lost all it before getting there.

- Got it! - said Selly - Thanks for the warning.

Selly hang out and we cut out to her and the rest of robot trains waiting on the Plaza.

- Kay and Duke called. - she looked at them - They reached the new world.

- Yay! Kay finally did it - Duck was happy and all trains gathered here also cheered happily as him.

- I'm proud of them, especially of Kay - said Jeffrey and in his eyes even tears appeared full of proud.

- But don't forget about Duke - said Victor - After all, Kay wouldn't succeed without him

- Of course - said Jeffrey

- Speaking of Duke - said Selly - We need to join them in the new world, but before that let's energize ourselves

- Why?

- He said that we would lost all of our energies if we reached the world. The Intercontinental Railroad was very long and we need to gather lot of energy

As soon as Alf joined them when he checked if everything was okay with clock tower as he remembered what happened back then when Area A was shut down. Selly instructed all of them and soon all of them were ready to drove into the unknown. At the same Kay and Duke looked around the new world. The sun was shining and the breeze blew in the face.

- I wonder If this world had the inhabitants as Jeffrey said - the blue looked at black train - Do you think there are some trains here?

Duke denied that question. Kay was wondering If this is that new world Jeffrey mentioned once. Suddenly they saw the orange and yellow train with a glasses who was not far away.

- A Train? Hey Duke, maybe we could ask that train about this world

Once they energize, they transformed into train mode and drove to the train with a glasses.

- Excuse me - said Kay

- What If I - said the train - No no... mixing four energy balls would be dangerous.

- Hello?

- After all they are mine creations... But I don't know what to...

- Hello! Can you tell us about the world

- Why do others can't understood, when I, genius Genie when I have storm of ideas, shouldn't be disturb.

The train named Genie left before Kay could ask

- Hey, Wait!

- Kay, don't follow them. She is too focused on the project.

- Right, what are we gonna do?

They were thinking about that when the ball rolled to them.

- A ball

- Where did it came from? - said Kay picking the ball

- Hey! Could you roll ball to Maxie? - They saw white and pink robot train waving at them

Kay and Duke looked at each other

- A new robot train? She's acts like a child?! - said Kay quietly

- Kay, maybe she knew about this world than train Genie - Duke tried to make sure that Maxie never heard it - Let's give her to ball

When they stopped, Kay rolled to the Maxie.

- Thanks - said Maxie happily - Wanna play?

- Well... We...

- Maxie can we ask you a question? - Duke interrupted him

- Yes! You can ask Maxie any question!

- Where are other trains and where do you live?

- Oh, there are lot's of friends and they are Maxie's friends. It's nearby from here and you can follow Maxie.

- Maxie, are there other robot trains here? Or just you and Genie?

- There are me, Genie, Sharon, Jose, Jack and Gary so there are 6 of us... Wait... Are you robot trains too?!

She checked them very excited at them

- Yeah! I'm Kay and this is Duke. We opened the Intercontinental Continent... I mean very long way to here. We also have other 5 robot trains here and they were coming here.

- Woah!!! - Maxie was over excited to see them

- Kay!! There you are!! - said a voice that belonged to Selly

Both He and Duke looked at the direction where they heard her and saw their friends driving toward them.

- Hey guys! Welcome in the new world!!

- Oooohhh!!! - said Maxie when she saw them and run to them looking at each one where she asked the questions

- Are you Kay and Duke's friends?! What are your jobs?! What is your world?! Wanna be Maxie's friends?!!

Some of the trains were confused, but all of them found her adorable and so sweet.

- Nice to meet you. - said Selly who broke the silence

- Kay did you meet other trains than her? - asked Jeffrey

- We meet Genie, who also apparently is robot train too but she was very much close minded.

- She's probably a scientist - said Selly

- Anyways Maxie could you show us a way? - asked Victor

Maxie didn't answered that since at the same the white train was touching the hearts with curiosity which made Selly laugh

- Oooohhh what are those? - she asked her because she never saw these

- My glasses - said Selly while giggling at the white train's cuteness

- Maxie, could you stop playing with the Selly's heart glasses and show us the way?- said Alf politely demonstrating that he is possibly good with kids

- Oh there you are Maxie - said a female voice where they saw a train who also transformed into a robot

- Huh, Sharon?!

- Genie asked me to check if you're okay... - said yellow and purple NY robot train when she saw Kay and his friends - Oh hey, looks like you have a guests. Hi, I'm Sharon! Nice to meet you all! I'm what you can call leader of this world and looks like you know Maxie already.

- Nice to meet you Sharon! - said Kay who decided to introduce himself and others to her. - My name is Kay. I'm also leader too. Meet Duck, Alf, Selly with her assistant Becky, Victor, Jeffrey and Duke.

Everyon expect Duke greeted at once. He just bow his head as a response.

- Come on, let's go Tower! You need to meet Genie, Jose, Jack and Gary. - said Sharon - They are also robot trains too, like me and Maxie.

- Okay, Let's go - said Kay

She transformed in the train mode and the trains left in the way towards the tunnel. None of the heroes saw two Robot Trains watch them a far of them.

- Let's report to Train X - said one of them and they left them unnoticed

We then see a glimpse of mysterious place when two robot trains blue and green got to the place ready to report it to their boss, A mysterious figure appeared.

- We saw a new robot trains Master X and they are very tough.

- And also very vurnable with their past. - he said - Which is our advantage in this case

- But how do we gonna do... Sharon and her friends are very strong and now they have an allies

Due to their surprise a train they called Master X smiled

- No worries... But I have some ace in the sleeve and I know someone who can help us achieve it.

The episode end with a zooming shot of the Duke as he drove with his friends while X laughed evily.

funniest character: Also Klaus. This is basically a Klaus endorsement post. I also like Five's humor.

favorite season: 1, probably, but I did like parts of 2.

favorite episode: Oof, idk them really well enough to pick a specific episode. Whichever one has Klaus leaving the cult and giving them those lyrics.

favorite romantic ship: Klaus/Dave I think his name was? The fact that he found love, the fact that it was during a war, I just have many feelings about them.

favorite family ship: This feels like a dangerous question in this fandom.

#this is about to be some l*ve v*ctor salt #(asteriks to keep this post about of tags)#anyways benji ain't shit imo #I didn't ship him and Victor in season 1 #I thought Victor had better chemistry with Mia and I was holding out hope they would have Victor realize he's bisexual #(of course I loved Mia and Andrew in season 2)#but the point is I always thought Benji's character was super flat #and that his characterization seemed to begin and end with 'hot guy'#and in season 2 he and Victor were just never on the same page #it wasn't a healthy relationship for either of them #and it's wild to me to come onto to tumblr dot com and see people bending over backwards to defend this bland at best toxic at worst charact #*character #people talk about him and I'm mystified #like they've invented all this deep characterization that just #isn't in the show????#anyways long story short Benji sucks and Victor can do WAY better #I know he's at Benji's door but....vahim slow burn endgame maybe??

Some Fackts everyone knows but I want to share:

Nina is the only girl in the house who never kissed Kaya

Felix is the only person in the house who never had a relationship during the show.

Mara has changed her beds the most. From the left bed to the attic to the right bed

Daniel is the only one from the house who didn't do anything during the Karaoke. Nina, Lotte, Luzy, Mara, Magnus and Kaya sang, Felix moderated and Delia organized it.

Both Delia and Mara who dated Kaya cheated on him with one of the chaotic duo ( Magnus and Felix) ofc for different reasons

Kaya is the only person who never heard anything about the Club. ( Lotte knows there is a secret club and she knows Sibuna)

Mara had the most boys in the house liking her at some point. ( Magnus, Felix and Kaya. Altough Magnus still does.)

Mara and Magnus are the only couple who said " I love you." to eachother. Daniel said it to Nina in the end of the movie. But she didn't said it back. ( I don't really care for Danina but Nina could have said I love you to Daniel when he was in coma. Like the show was for kids. And back then I remember i used ship Danina alot more than Maranus. And kids love Nina and Daniel more. )

Mara is the only girl who isn't in the Club.

From the girls. During the timeline of the show Delia has been Single the longest time.

Mara is the only one who dated someone in Season 1, 2 and 3.

Luzy is the only one we never saw a family member of or even just a voice ( We just hear the voice of Delias father.)

Mara and Magnus are the only couple who slept in one bed together (only them)

Nina and Daniel are the only couple who shared atleast one kiss in all 3 seasons.

Magnus had an argument or somekind of beef with every member of the house.

Magnus birthday is on the 12. April, so he's an Aries. That seems to be quite right lol.

Luzy is a Scorpio

Kaya and Lotte are the only ones who have never been in the cellar.

Kaya is the only member (beside Victor) who had a birthday party

Victor is most likely a Scorpio.

Daniel×Nina and Mara×Magnus are the only couples who have dated for more than one season.

MHA: Kiyomi x Todoroki Relationship Timeline (Part 2)

Here is the second part of the full story of my canon x OC ship, Shoto Todoroki and Kiyomi Aida. This will run through how they first met, became friends, and fell in love. I'm only gonna go through Season 1 to Season 5 (at least up to the Endeavor Agency arc), as well as cover the two films. As I am writing this, the third movie isn't out yet, but I will explain what their relationship status is at that point. :3

This particular post will be about how Kiyomi and Todoroki during Season 2. A lot of it will focus on the Sports Festival, which will be when they become friends.

Note that this is canon in my BNHA OC storyline, which is just the canon My Hero plot if my OCs were in it. (I didn't want to make a lot of drastic changes like with TMNT 2012 to fit my OCs)

SPORTS FESTIVAL ARC

After the Sports Festival was announced, Kiyomi became very nervous because she feared that she would not do well. She has also noticed in the school days leading up to that point, Todoroki has been more cold and distant and becomes determined to confront him at the Festival.

After qualifying to the Calvary Battle, Kiyomi creates a team with Alex, Kana and Asuka (in this storyline, the Top 50 students who make it participate, and the other eight and some of my OCs). During said match, she notices Todoroki nearly uses his left side and grows curious. This, unfortunately, cost her team the round.

As the students prepared to go out on the arena, Kiyomi is angered with Todoroki's "declaration of war" and yells at him for acting like a jerk. After Midoriya breaks the tension, Kiyomi regrets her impulsive action immediately. She worries that it hurt Todoroki's feelings, but he only brushed it aside (like with Kirishima's attempts to calm down the situation).

During the lunch break, Kiyomi decides to find Todoroki and talk/apologize to him. She hears him talking to Midoriya from outside of the arena and overhears the conversation (starting when Todoroki tells Midoriya about some of his past). Kiyomi is horrified to hear what had happened to Todoroki and realizes why he acts the way he does. She runs off before Todoroki could notice her and decides to speak with him later.

Kiyomi watches the match between Midoriya and Todoroki in the final round. She is nervous and unsure who would win, but is then amazed by seeing Todoroki activate his left side. Uncertain what Midoriya had said, she was amazed and in complete awe to see this side of Todoroki.

After the match, Kiyomi races down to the locker rooms and finds Todoroki. She apologizes for what she had said to him and for accidentally overhearing his conversation with Midoriya.

Todoroki tells Kiyomi that he forgives her but is unsure what happens next. She responds by offering him her friendship, which he accepts. Kiyomi also tells him that she'll be rooting for him to win the Festival.

During the final match, Todoroki vs. Bakugo, Kiyomi shouts words of encouragement alongside Midoriya. She, like several of her classmates, are shocked to see that Bakugo ultimately became the victor.

While watching the Awards Ceremony, Kiyomi's gaze has been fixed on Todoroki and sensed that he still feels uncertain, just like after his match with Midoriya. She made a promise to herself that she'll help him anyway she can.

VS. HERO KILLER ARC

On their first day back to school, since the Festival, Kiyomi approaches Todoroki to see how he's doing. After a brief conversation about what he's done after the Festival, Kiyomi gives him her phone number if he wants to talk with her outside of class. Todoroki also asks if Kiyomi would sit with him during lunch, which she accepts.

After learning that Todoroki has the most internship offers, Kiyomi also congratulates him, but also tells him that the number may not have to do with his father.

Kiyomi finds out that Todoroki chose to do his internship with Endeavor and tells him to not let his father get to him.

After finding out about the Hosu incident, Kiyomi texts Todoroki to see if he was doing okay and was relieved that no one was severely injured.

When the students returned to UA after their internships, Kiyomi noticed how Todoroki was at first a bit distant of her. He worries that his "Hand Crusher" curse would affect Kiyomi, which made her laugh and assure Todoroki that he's not "cursed".

Kiyomi defended Todoroki from Goku, who teased him about how Endeavor took the "glory" for handling the Hero Killer.

FINAL EXAMS

Kiyomi and Todoroki's friendship developed more, and to prepare for the written exams, they did some studying together. One time it was at Kiyomi's home

Todoroki meets Kiyomi's Dad, who was accepting of his daughter's friendship with him (and made him promise to "take care of his girl").

During the practical exams, both watched the other's matches (Kiyomi was paired with Mio and they had to fight Hound Dog) and seen how much they've grown since their first day.

After Todoroki's final and before Kiyomi's final, they both had a talk about how they feel about their efforts in the exam. Kiyomi also mentions that Todoroki is inspiring her to push herself to be a hero.

This is all I have to offer for them during Season 2. Next up, Season 3, and that's when things start to heat up between these two future lovebirds. Prepare to see some sparks starting to fly!

Episode 201: Stay (I Missed You) - Details

Episode Summary:

Torn between the heartache of Max’s (Nathan Parsons) sacrifice and the joy of Rosa’s (Amber Midthunder) resurrection, Liz (Jeanine Mason) suppresses her grief to focus on moving out of Roswell with Rosa. Meanwhile, Michael (Michael Vlamis) copes with Max’s death in his own self-destructive way, while Isobel (Lily Cowles) focuses her attention on honing her alien powers. Finally, Liz makes an alarming discovery after Rosa begins experiencing mysterious side effects from her resurrection. Michael Trevino, Heather Hemmens, Tyler Blackburn and Trevor St. John also star. Lance Anderson directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie.

DETAILS:

They left Noah's body by the cliff near the turquoise mines

Max tells Liz specifically that Noah called him a savior, and that the victors would be coming for him, and specifically the term alighting.

2 weeks later...

A guy is seen trying to scrub graffiti off the wall. The graffiti is an alien saying to a ghost "I don't believe in humans." Rosa's?

Arturo is working on his citizenship paperwork.

"...the occasional face mask selfie..." Once again, like in the pilot with the reference to the border wall, Carina writes a line that she had no idea would be quite so relevant on the day that this aired. Maria is referring to lab face masks, not medical face masks, but given the current state of things it's still quite the on point line, politically.

What Arturo says to Liz in Spanish: "Para que te cuide en el camino." Translates to: To take care of you on the way.

The photo Isobel looks at is a shot of Max, Isobel, and Noah at what appears to be their wedding.

Isobel is the one hiding Max's death. Liz and Michael are helping, but Isobel wanted him put in the pod. "...we'll make up a story, okay? We'll send text messages from his phone. We'll say that he left town."

Sheriff Valenti tells Isobel that she's "Roswell PD family", but in season 1 they were very consistent about using Chavez County Sheriff's Department, not Roswell PD.

Another reference to the graffiti... Again, Rosa?

Liz had to prompt Isobel to tell at her at the wake, meaning this is them implementing Isobel's "story" on why Max left.

Liz told Rosa "everything except that the whole town thinks she's a murderer."

Rosa's first nightmare... She walks into the Crashdown, plays STP, reveals the handprint, the jukebox sparks and distorts, hears Isobel's voice, and Noah appears.

"They're not going to come after you. They're going to go after the people you care about." - Noah said this to Max in 107 in reference to Wyatt Long's lawyers.

Rosa's necklace that she and Liz argue over is the turquoise bead necklace that Liz wears throughout S1, including in the pilot, So Much For the Afterglow,

Mimi Deluca...

Quoted from Aliens (1986) "I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit."

On Rosa's death a decade ago: "Not always. Sometimes it happened just yesterday. Sometimes it's been a century."

Rosa started on oxy. But according to Kyle's scans her "frontostriatal loop is fine." And she produces "normal noradrenaline". Basically, Max healed all damage to her body including damage from her drug addiction.

Alex is listening to Next Time by All the Brightness on his headphones. Thanks @michaeldeluca for figuring it out!

Alex says that most of the Caulfield files are encrypted so there's not much to go on, but he was able to break Project Shepherd's encryptions in the bunker in S1, which again implies that maybe Caulfield is a bit bigger than Project Shepherd.

Michael's mother was marked N37. Her intake form was datestamped Oct 12, 1948, which is almost a year and a half after the crash (June 14, 1947).

Liz and Michael both didn't get handprints from Max, only Rosa. Liz's initial handprint from Max (in the pilot) lasted only a few days. Rosa's hasn't faded at all in 2 weeks.

Isobel's been practicing for 2 weeks and she showed signs of both Michael and Max's powers in this episode (possibly? exploding the lights in her house and blowing up the bowls could both be Michael's power if it was just telekenisis in both cases and not channeling electricity a'la Max)

Mamma Ortecho is "shacked up in Nebraska with some white guy named Dirk."

Michael says that he fixed the old (junked) ultrasound machine after Max died. That they did scans initily while Isobel was in the pod and they were working on the antidote. He had a scan of Max's healthy heart. Now "there's a void".

Michael says Max's heart was damaged before he "lassoed lightning" to kill Noah. He died of a heart attack. His heart is "shredded".

Rosa's 2nd dream: running from Noah and calling Liz to help her.

Noah says: "Strange creatures with familiar features. The alighting! They're coming for us Maximo!" All things he said to Max in the cave in episode 113.

Liz theorizes Rosa's dreams are the result of a psychic connection through the handprint to Max, that Rosa is seeing fragments of Max's memories.

Which means that Max's brain isn't fully dead. Liz explains to Rosa:. "if there's a part of his brain with coordinated electrical signaling, if there's consciousness, that means that there's oxygenated cells...if the connection to you kept his brain alive there's hope."

Cremating an alien body releases toxic fumes (according to Project Shepherd research from after the 1947 crash).

Flint was taking Noah's body to Area 51...where he has clearance and Alex doesn't.

Flint says: "There's a chain of command in this family."

Flint Manes was in the same grade as Rosa (meaning he's two years older than Alex).

During the dissection:

Liz: "It could be some kind of organic phosphorus?

Michael: "It's an unknown chemical compound. A distant derivative of phenyl-2-propanone. I could never figure out the 21st compound. But apparently it's the key to their nanotech and their biology. Our biology. I always thought it was synthetic but if it's organic the tech itself could have neural activity."

Liz: "Wait, you're saying you think these organs are part tech?"

Michael: "In human terms, I guess."

Liz: "That's good 'cause in the human world, broken tech can be fixed."

Translation: The alien organs (and the ship pieces) are part organic and part tech.

Rosa's 3rd nightmare...she is in the gazebo looking at her and Izzy/Noah's drawings from 2008 (episode 110), Noah approaches and she fights back this time. And then Noah uses his powers to choke her.

"All those books and you haven't figured religion out." When he approaches.

"Ophiuchus!" Yelled as he chokes her.

Max appears and lightning-lassoes Noah to free Rosa.

"I've been trying to get to you. I'm sorry to put you through this. You're the only one I can reach. Liz can't bring me back to life. Do you understand? No matter what it takes you have to stop her."

so what do we think they will do in the show for Victor and Jayce in season 2+? (Spoilers for potential future events based on lore below)

We know from the lore that they have a huge falling out. I've seen a couple of versions of this and their backgrounds as to how it happens, but the most common is that Jayce takes credit for one of Victor's inventions that he created to help the Undercity. Another that they have a disagreement about ethics, something about Victor wanting to use machines in order to protect the lives of divers, idk. Sounds like a mix of the two is the most canon so far. Maybe Victor makes an invention to help, and Jayce not only doesn't use it for the undercity but also takes credit and uses it to help the elite instead.

What do you think they will do in the show? I think Jayce somehow, perhaps naively and even accidentally, takes credit over Victor's creation, and perhaps now that we've seen he sees the undercity as more 'us versus them' he could deny Victor the opportunity to help the undercity. Maybe Mel's influence and guiding hand will also have a hand in this because it would be a conflict of interest. Jayce being more against the undercity after the attack on the council we ended on in s1 could explain him being more ready to be against helping.

I can definitely see Victor proceeding with more daring experiments on his body the most he feels like Jayce is moving away from 'him' and their scientific dream, and the more desperate he becomes to stay alive. I can even see him doing the step that goes 'too far' on changing himself after feeling completely abandoned and betrayed by Jayce, and shown to be a desperate move motivated by hurt.

I see the shipping potential, and I'd also definitely believe it if they make it clear that Victor has an unrequited, now tired love for Jayce. While I didn't see much 'material' while watching the first time, I'd definitely believe it if you told me that Victor was written to be in love with Jayce, though without taking any steps to get a response for many reasons that a lot of character analysis videos on him talk about. It'd definitely be nice if they switched it around and showed that Jayce is perhaps also interested but also did not act on it and then just moved on with Mel who he was also attracted to. I'd give huge props to Arcane/Netflix if they gave us another lgbt couple. Maybe they didn't want to go ahead and have two lgbt couples that take the spotlight in season 1 to avoid too much backlash? Just thinking outloud on this part.
