Spike's favourite cuddle position is this one.

Having his partner rest on top of him, especially if their free arm pulls him closer, is heaven for him. He prefers it with more chest to chest contact and some light jaw nuzzling.

This is one of the few positions he has a preference for giving. He loves being able to protect and care for the person he cares about. It makes him feel needed and strong. It makes him feel wanted.
