Little moments that I love in Red White and Royal Blue. PART 3.

Like... did you see him in this scene? You simply cannot script something like this, you just can't. Yeah you can write things like "Alex watched Henry lovingly as he played the piano" but it isn't good enough, is it? His look here is kind and loving and soft and attentive and admiring and I could go on and on. Henry is so lucky to be on the receiving end of this 😩😍

Oh and don't miss Henry's reaction to this tho

You can't tell me he didn't feel the butterflies 🦋🦋😏 l mean, look at that shy smile 😍

And then they both start giggling. I love how grim Henry was like a moment ago (crumbling on the stairs) but now he is just happy to be with Alex, like the weight of all the dark things he was carrying within himself have been lifted. Just like that.

These two are so cute in the piano scene that I feel giddy everytime I see them 😩😍 no matter how many times I watch the scene

But wait, there are more from here. The "heyy they still love you" and the hand on shoulder. And to think they shot this during reshoots 😩🤧 they truly are chemistry professors.

It doesn't even look like there is a 4/5 months gap (they wrapped production in August 2022 and did reshoots in January 2023) between this shot and the previous one.

Henry looking at his boyfriend and saying "your speech was beautiful" 😍

I love how relaxed Henry looks with Alex around even though they are still unsure of what the future holds. And Taylor's currlss 😍 I'd look at him the same way.

I know this doesn't get talked about much but I think Taylor's acting was brilliant here. Alex was so worried, so stressed, so afraid he cost his mum her election (the first US female president ever), you can tell how much this means to him. His "I'll breathe when we win" 😭

Then he sees the graphics on the news and goes to check on his mom only to find her working on her concession speech and he feels even worse

he immediately calls Henry to be with him. We get another loving hug. Alex truly looks like he is so so happy to have Henry by his side. He looks like he is finally breathing 🥺 like nothing else matters as long as they are together

And then Ellen is elected for a second time (by winning Texas) and we get this moment 🤧 and Ellen's "thank you" ❤️

Here's another scene done during reshoots. How do they make looking at each other so couple-y. Look at Henry here, like he knows Alex, he just knows what Alex is thinking. He is like "I see you babe, I hear you, no matter what I will be with you" without even uttering a word lmao what even

I just love NVC so much and I cannot stress how much I’m obsessed with the pinky touch of Miguel and reader, it’s been stuck in my mind on a loop since I read it and I needed to do something.

I ‘dusted’ off my Anatomy drawing classes to try to make the hands, although I hate to do hands better if you hide them in drawings it was something I needed to do to scratch the Miguel slowburn itch off my mind, also I had a 4 hour trip on a train and this helped me entertain myself, along listening to the Spider verse soundtrack.

I have gotten a few requests for this so I have decided to finally do this!

Aemond SFW Alphabet

A - Affection (How affectionate are they?)

Aemond is not a very affectionate man, I'll say that right now. He has maybe two people he is affectionate to behind closed doors before he meets his S/O. He is never going to be comfortable with PDA, but when alone you see the softer more genuine side of him. Aemond feels like he needs to put on a mask, as well as an eyepatch, whenever he is in public. As the second son who has had to shoulder the responsibility of the firstborn it is not easy for him to relax, especially since he overcompensates for the sake of his elder brother.

B - Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend?)

Aemond would be a wonderful friend to have in your corner. He is exceptionally loyal, however keep in mind his family will always come first to him, so long as your ideals align with theirs you and Aemond will get along splendidly. You would often find yourselves studying together in the library, sharing interesting aspects of what you two have been reading. Aemond likes to feel like he's the mentor, so he will be more than happy to teach you anything you wish to know whether it be sword fighting or the history of dragon riding.

C - Comfort (Are they good at comforting you when you’re down?)

Aemond would rather exact vengeance on whoever did you the wrong to cause your distress. He doesn't feel as comfortable being the shoulder to cry on, though he will take on that role if it means making you feel better. He is a very good listener, however, and will make you feel validated and understood.

D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Hahaha-ahem-sorry. Aemond doesn't cook nor does he clean, for obvious reasons. If you ask him to do either he will give you a long look and say "no". He wants to get married, though he fears he will never find someone he trusts enough to give his time to much less his heart.

E - Ending (If it had to end, how would they take it?)

Aemond is a very possessive individual. He would not take it well if the relationship was nearing an end. Aemond isn't the type who would enter a relationship until he is absolutely sure of the other person to begin with, so if something happened or if his S/O became disinterested Aemond would very much take that to heart and shut down for quite a while.

F - Fiancee (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Aemond needs someone who will commit fully to him, and he expects nothing less. Therefore, again, it is extremely difficult for him to find someone and usually means he needs to be good friends with that person before considering them as a romantic partner. Therefore, he doesn't strike me as the type to get married super quickly (unless it's arranged of course) though he does deeply wish for it underneath the cool mask he wears.

G - Gentle (How gentle are they?)

Aemond is not gentle, he is brazen and bold. He has an arrogant air that he puts on to mask the pain suffered in his youth. He is only gentle to his S/O, his mother and his sister. Usually Aemond will be soft only behind closed doors because he does not want to be perceived as weak. As the best swordsman and rider of the largest dragon, he has an image to maintain and I cannot stress this enough but Aemond feels like he needs to compensate for Aegon's lack.

H - Hugs (Do they like to hug and cuddle you? How often?)

Again, behind closed doors Aemond is all yours to cuddle and hug as you please. He will melt right into you. He likes to hold you against him, feeling the reassurance of your warmth.

I - I Love You (Who said it first? What was the situation?)

You would have said it first, the sentiment being echoed back to you but not in those exact words. It is hard for Aemond to say "I love you" as it is the admission of the utmost vulnerability. He would say it once he is sure you are without question as in love with him as he is with you.

J - Jealousy (Do they get jealous easily?)

I wouldn't say Aemond gets jealous easily, but once he does it is a sight to behold as he does not bother to hide how he feels nor does he balk at intimidating whoever is the object of his ire.

K - Kisses (Are they a good kisser? What are their kisses like?)

Aemond's kisses started out as hesitant and brief, his lips brushing yours chastely. He is a very fast learner, and pays attention to how you respond to certain caresses and how his lips move against yours. He enjoys peppering your face with kisses, especially kissing the tip of your nose when you do something particularly endearing.

L - Little Ones (What are they like around children? Do they want some of their own?)

Yes he loves children, and has had practice being the best of uncles to Helaena's kids. I think we have established that Aemond would be a wonderful father and he would find purpose in making sure he is the father to them that Viserys never was to him.

M - Mornings (What are mornings like with them?)

Aemond would almost always be up before you, just as the sun is cresting the horizon. He would linger under the covers, watching your sleeping face before giving your forehead a kiss and smiling as you scrunched up your nose in your sleep and shifted closer to his warmth. It is hard for Aemond to leave you during these sweet moments but often duty calls him elsewhere before you wake and it is to an empty bed you open your eyes.

N - Nights (What are nights like with them?)

Cozy. Curled up together, each reading a book, or talking about the events of the day. This is the SFW alphabet so I'll stop there haha

O - Open (Are they open with you? Did it take long for them to become open with you?)

It took a very long time for Aemond to fully open up to you, he has a lot of baggage that it pains him to unpack. And he does not trust easily at all. But with perseverance and love it is possible and he will be yours until the world crumbles away if you consider him worth the painstaking process of getting close to him.

P - PDA (Do they like to show you off in public? Are they into public displays of affection?)

Oooh yes I did already answer this one! He is not down for PDA, especially towards the beginning of your relationship. If you are more settled together, married with kids (lmao), he will hold your hand in public or guide you with a hand to the small of your back.

Q - Quizzes (Do they remember the little details about you?)

Yes. Aemond is very studious and very clever. That is actually how you first were clued into his feelings for you. He would remember little details about you or something you'd said that perhaps you had even forgotten. It endeared him to you and caused you to be more interested in getting to know him as well.

R - Remember (What’s their favourite moment of the relationship?)

Aemond's most fond memory would be the first time you touched him. An affectionate brush of your hand against his skin, he had given no outward tell but inside his heart had nearly stopped. That is when he had known how badly he had fallen for you and that it was now his purpose to claim you.

S - Security (Do they feel safe around you? Do you feel safe around them?)

Once Aemond is yours, you will certainly be his place of refuge. He will guard you with the fierceness only a Targaryen could provide in return for how you make him feel. Yes, you both feel extremely safe around each other. When either of you are in distress you seek out the other immediately.

T - Trust (Do they trust you? How long did it take for them to trust you completely?)

Hahaha-again Aemond doesn't trust easily and it will take a long time to gain it from him. Once gained, if trust is broken Aemond will close off completely and it will be impossible to regain what was lost.

U - Understanding (How well can they read their partner?)

Perceptive is Aemond's middle name. Aemond Perceptive Targaryen. He reads you like a book, even when you try to hide your emotions it's like he is inside your mind. Especially the closer you two become the better he is, almost as if he can also feel your emotions. This is something he prides himself on.

V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Aemond takes great pride in his long Targaryen hair, it is evident by the way it gleams and falls perfectly down his back. He is a prince as well and so is well groomed and bathed, smelling of leather and smoke whenever he enters your vicinity. Aside from that, he is not overly vain. He still sees his face as something that has been disfigured and it is a reminder of his insecurities, therefore he will never look too long at his reflection.

W - Wild Card (A random headcanon.)

Aemond likes to play chess with you, so I hope you like chess haha He loves activities that work his brain and when he isn't studying, training or riding Vhagar he likes to spend leisure time engaging in various games such as chess to practice strategy and critical thinking.

X - Xylophone (What’s their song?)

Y - Yearning (How do they cope when they are missing their partner?)

He is very unhappy when he's missing his partner, becomes more moody and prone to outbursts more than normal. Aemond just turns into someone who is downright unpleasant when he's missing his S/O.

Z - Zeal (Would they go to great lengths for their partner?)

Aemond would burn Westeros to the ground for his partner. He is the kind of person who it is hard to become close to but once you do, once you are someone who matters to him, he would do anything for you.

The being simped after shit is genuinely uncomfortable. People push limits with that shit and it gets weird and intrusive reaaally fast. I hope you don't have to deal with that BS on top of how I've seen other people treat them already, I'm also glad you've been on a break from youtube, don't do shit that stresses you out unnecessarily. Also i suppose it's on topic but I hope people have stopped being a bit weirdly violent towards saturate, I don't really remember if that was something that ever discomforted you but I guess it got pushed really far a lot. I hope that people have like either leaned back on doing that or well. Stopped. It's weird to do that to someones. Like 12? Year old character. (I genuinely cannot remember. Damn it and my jokes.) -🧨🎖

I wish I could say I don't have to deal with that sort of thing, I really do. But for some reason videos seem to be the medium where people suddenly find it acceptable to treat people like content machines, or their creations like the next hit media all the kids are getting into.

Suppose that former bit is a side-effect of the animation meme community churning out flashy slop for every breakcore song n' conditioning kids to think they're owed it just.. *because*. But that latter part goes deeper in personal experience. Crazy to think some people think its normal to go to some total rando who they know but the rando Doesn't Know Them to tell me they think one of the characters I project issues onto is "kinda....... 😍😳."

Generally I'm really put off by romance for a variety of reasons so it's kind of like getting spat in my face. I'd prefer to let the people get distracted by the next "suggestive" ""16+"" animation meme than to entertain a crowd of people who can't listen to save their lives. Maybe i'll make something really boring for good measure.

As for the violence jokes about Saturate (13)? I'm pretty *shaky hand* ehh on it but I think the less I know the person making them the worse it is. I admittedly used to be similar when I was a young teen when I was in a community with next to no good adult guidance in it so I never really grasped the severity of that sort of thing at the time (or realized that ocs tend to be an outlet or projection of sorts! I realized that a little later).

People I know used to do it, but as we matured we kinda realized it was a bit shit. And having realized it I'm more prone to giving the stink eye to people who make child abuse jokes about her (especially when Greyscale is involved. crazy the balls some people have to be like that to total strangers).

😘 - Oh man. This is tough. I wish he weren't currently away on official business so he could tell you himself. He knows how bad I am at this. 😂

1. He secretly loves the fact that I can see through his nonchalant act. He's wanted someone to really *see* him his entire life, despite the mask he puts up, and while it took him some getting used to, I think he feels safe with me now too.

2. He loves how much I crave his touch; in every single way possible, both sexual and non. I love holding his hand, or when he drapes his arm around me in public. I love brushing up against him or leaning on his shoulder to take a nap. I love running my fingers through his hair when he's laying on my chest, I love it all. And I think he really loves that I love it.

3. He loves my smile. He's said that a lot. He once said, "Even if it took me quitting the prince business and moving with you to some barren wasteland, I'd do it all to see you smile." He's the sweetest. 🥺 Course, I'd never ask him to quit being a prince, I know how much meaning it gives his life, and I'm not sure barren wastelands are either of our styles. 🥴

💚 - We both do, depending on the situation. But in all honesty, I'm worse about jealousy than he is, given some of my past ~experiences~. But to my credit, I'm not the one that has beautiful people of the opposite gender accosting me wherever I go. 🙄 I cannot tell you how many times I have had to say, when Jin was distracted or off getting us something, "No, I'm his REAL wife, it's not role-playing. No, you can't "have a turn" after me because I'm his WIFE." I never blame him, even though he does always apologize profusely and - ahem - generously make it up to me later. But the women who won't take no for an answer get exhausting. Lol

🌟 - He's worse in the teasing department now. I used to be just as bad as him, but that's usually how I start out when I'm not comfortable enough to be vulnerable. But once I got comfortable with him and felt safe, the teasing act dropped for the most part. I'm still a tease, but not in the same way I was. His is different too, although still just as prominent. Lol I know if he were here, he'd want to tell you the story about the time he nearly made me squeal aloud at a ball, but he's not here so I won't get into it. Haha Besides, he tells the story better than I do. He can tell you when he gets back.

💞 - We're both very touchy feely people. We have BOTH been reprimanded by Sariel for PDA because we can't keep our hands off of each other. And why would we want to? We're each other's safe person. So often when I'm stressed, I find myself reaching for Jin, and he always *always* reaches back. He'll give me a massage, or pet my hair, or even just run his hands up and down my sides, and it'll calm me. Same with him, if he's had a really rough day, usually he'll end up in my lap or laying on my chest, and I'll run my hands through his hair until he falls asleep holding onto me. We talk about things, of course, but usually only after we've calmed down in each other's embrace. We also love washing each other off, even in a nonsexual way. He washes my hair and body, I wash his, and we just sort of relax into those moments with each other; the level of vulnerability and trust we've come to have with each other is astronomical. I really love him, and I couldn't be more glad to have him in my life.

hey i'm still alive

👀

uh so. how's it going. thought i'd give a little life update in case anyone was curious or interested >> tho probs not ;lajdfk;l

yeah i know i've been mia for like. a long time now, and tbh there's no particular reason why. i know i've lost some followers because i've been so inactive and haven't written anything in a long ass time. i do apologize for that. a lot has happened in the last few months and i guess i just wanted to give my friends and follows a brief little overview of what's been going on in my life and to prove that i am indeed still alive lol.

so most of you all know by now that i finally landed a good paying remote job yeah? and at first it was amazing. now? not so much. the schedule sucks ass, the management is balls, and the actual work sucks even more. i'm not happy there anymore so i'm currently looking for a new job. and im so desperate to get out of there i'm looking outside of remote jobs as well.

right now i'm waiting to hear back from an office technician job right here in my town that pays $27 an hour. TWENTY. SEVEN. guys that's $8 more than what i'm making right now ($19 an hour.) oh my GOD if i made that money i'd be able to finally move out of this god awful house with a flea problem that i CANNOT get rid of (my poor babies :( i've legit tried everything, even fucking professionally treated this house with orkin to get rid of them, had both of them get flea baths by a groomer and STILL i cannot get rid of the damn fleas. it's so fucking stressful y'all you cant even begin to imagine), finally get new tires for my truck, and live comfortably with extra spending money without having to worry about paying rent or buying groceries for the month. i'm PRAYING i get this job. even if it's not remote that pay would make it SO worth it.

anyway. moving on.

i've also gotten into a relationship with someone i was desperately in love with, then got my heart broken because he ended things. it hurt a lot. i got over it though, with the help of some pretty amazing friends, and one of my best friends. and right now, i'm currently dating that best friend lmao. so i'm in another relationship, and i'm very happy with him. our relationship began at the end of june, i believe. (i'll never forget the day he asked me to be his. y'all my hearT MELTED 😍😍)

it's a long distance relationship as tom lives in canada, but he did recently come to see me as evidenced by the photo above. i love this man y'all. he's amazing. there is one thing i'm kinda worried about with our relationship, but i won't get into that because thinking about it upsets me. but anyway he makes my very happy. ❤️

so that's pretty much what's been happening. i just haven't really been inspired/motivated to write at all lately, and i do apologize for that. it's just been a very overwhelming few months, with dealing with this damn house, ending a relationship and starting a new one, stress from a job that i'm really beginning to hate, trying to find a new one, and just a few other small things that aren't worth mentioning.

i do hope you all know that this doesn't mean i've abandoned writing or abandoned any of my stories. it's just been difficult to write anything lately but that doesn't mean i don't want to. i still love inuyasha. it's still my favorite anime. i still read fanfic (on occasion, when i have the time as i'm pretty much in a 24/7 discord call with tom except right now because he's at a dentist appt which is why im taking the time to write this -3-) and i still do think about my stories. hell, sometimes i even get an idea for a good oneshot and think to myself "shit i need to write that down" but then i forget about it and hate myself for the next 24 hours -_-

so yeah. that's what's been going on. i'm still around. i still get on here and reblog a few posts, mostly the ones i'm tagged in or some nice fanart. i do miss y'all and i hope my absence hasn't upset anyone or made them think i'm done with the inuyasha fandom. i'm most definitely not. it's just...sort of taking a backseat for now until i sort some things out in my life. definitely not preferable, but it is what it is, y'know.

my dear readers, followers, and friends, i love you all so much and i'm glad you've stuck around this long even though i haven't been around. you're the reason why i'm still here, why i want to someday get back to writing and giving you more content to enjoy and gush over. thank you for your patience with me and still giving love to my stories after all this time. i still get the occasional review for one of my stories, and trust me, i read every single one of them and they make my entire day. it's so nice knowing people are still reading my work and enjoying it. maybe it's selfish, but i hope you never stop, because reading those reviews gives me a huge boost when i'm feeling down on a particular day and it makes me feel like i haven't been forgotten, though by every right i should have been.

okay i've rambled long enough. in short, i just want to say thank you. you're all rockstars. i love you all. ❤️

I like the idea that neither Cherie or Elias fully grow up when they're in each other's vicinity. Much like Percy immediately hiding from his sister even though he's a grownass man with a title and two children, he can and will run away from her if he feels she'll confront him.

Cherie and Elias are the same, specially in high tension moments, Anthony has no idea who is more scared when Cece goes into labor. She eventually gets fed up and tells both of them to go wait outside, and there's only Anthony left:

"Cece-"

"Stop.Talking."

"Understood. I just think you should-"

*scuffing and muttered curses heard outside*

"This cannot be happening. How did my mother do this-"

"You'll be alright. The doctors are on their way and-"

*french yelling, a vase breaking and a surprisingly unmanly yelp Anthony recognizes as his best friend's*

"Would you mind if I-"

"Go."

And Anthony steps outside and his wife's hair is ruffled, Elias' is rubbing his cheek with one hand and attempting to hit her back with the other even though she has a death grip on his shirt.

The servants are resolutely looking away.

"What on earth is wrong with you two?!"

"She hit me!"

"He started it!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"That's my wife in there, you shouldn't even be here!"

"Excuse me?! If it weren't for me you wouldn't even be married to her-"

*gasp* "How dare you-"

"Enough! Both of you!"

Soooo I just saw a gif from these scenes, and it made me think a lot about why I love Patrick, and honestly I think why I like..... rewatch these scenes obsessively is because everything I love about Patrick is exemplified in them:

The first thing he does when David walks through the door is make fun of him. because he’s a little shit.

He gets a request from David to do something because David is being lazy and also avoiding an awkward situation and he is like “fuck no I’m not doing that” but in a way that is like... simultaneously saying “grow up and do the difficult thing you baby” while also so clearly saying “god I enjoy you so much even when you’re being a fucking baby”

The whole interaction up until 1:15 has been David being whiny and also talking about how he’s having a stressful day and Patrick’s amazing brain goes “a) I am in love with this whiny baby and b) wouldn’t it be SO funny if I told him this, knowing it would stress him out, because he’s having a little tantrum right now and I would find it funny to make it worse.” like. That is some King shit right there.

His stupid Mariah Carey thing which is so funny and he says it so serious (he would be the worlds best deadpan snarker except he’s more of a tonally-deadpan-but-facially-😍 snarker) cause he also knows it will LEGIT move David to tears

His little face when he thinks David might tell him he loves him back

But then he is so kind about David not saying it back right away

But he still watches David leave because a) he likes looking at his stupid boyfriend and b) it is embarrassing David and Patrick is, I CANNOT emphasize this enough, a little shit

And he also has his little “well that went well” moment which I appreciate because look at him having normal relationship anxieties even though he is a perfect facade of calm and mature while David is around

His FACE when David DOES say it back!!!!

But then he turns RIGHT AROUND and is a little shit AGAIN! David has NEVER said this to another person and he is like “Okay...... so this is the love of my life.... and he was just ground-breakingly emotionally vulnerable... and I am so moved right now.... AND this lil bitch didn’t bring me tea and I CANNOT let this ribbing material go to waste”

Literally I will never not be obsessed with how Patrick is a little shit to David 110% of the time and how a lot of that is in response to David being kind of immature or prissy or a lot but his FACE and his VOICE are literally just exuding “I love you I love you I love you I lov-” the entire time. and it isn’t just “I love you” it’s “I love you for the objectively ridiculous and over the top personality traits I am teasing you about” god I’m obsessed with him and them

Carla is such an irritating character. I know they want to sell her as a strong independent woman who takes no shit from anyone but all I see in her is an arrogant and entitled one who thinks the world revolves around her. No matter how much shady avery is, as his wife she is a total bitch to him. Youe husband is in a critical financial condition which he might have hidden from you because of embarrassment and inferiority complex (he clearly has one because of the more attractive and daring ex-husband 😆😆), you should understand his stress and try to sit together and talk about it rather than kicking him out of the house and bitching about him with your ex-husband 🤣🤣🤣 Her whole attitude is like- you lied to me, now you have to win me back by worshiping me day and night else I will open the option to go back to my daughter's father who is clearly a better one. Like- I really want her to learn some lesson at the end.😅

Seeing the scene between Avery and Carla gives me the idea of what might had happened between Beau and Carla. Something like this:

(Beau lying in the couch depressed, a half-empty bottle of whiskey in front table, eyes puffed, unruly hairs all over his face, looking terrible (and incredibly sexy 😍)

Carla- So this is it, you won't get up and drink the whole day? Till when it is going to continue?

(Beau ignores her)

Carla- I know you are sad, but you can't do it all day, you are setting a bad example to Emily. Get your ass up and go to work.

Beau - Just... Leave me alone.

Carla (taking a huge breath, folding her arms, wearing a typical bitch face) : Okk. If that's what you want, Emilyyyy pack your bags, we are leaving.

Emily- Wait what?

Beau ( jumping up) - Wait what?... That's not what I meant... Hey hey where do you think you are going?

Carla (Extreme bitch face) : Look, I get it... You are hurt, you can't forgive yourself and all... But I cannot stay here all day watching you sulking. I feel strangled here. I need space from you. Emily needs a dad who takes care of her well-being and not drowning in bottle. So I need to leave.

(Beau continues staring in shock as Carla goes away dragging Emily, to see a man with more money, enthusiasm and attractive career because she deserves better)

Sorry for writing this mindless essay but you know, could not resist.🤣🤣 I would like to see some flashbacks of Beau's past although not sure if it is a plan of the makers. There is a lot to unveil on Beau and without that he keeps on being an underused and lazily developed character which is introduced only to increase the charm factor.

Gonna put my answer under a cut cause I ramble a bit! 😆

I agree with most of what you said here. Carla does seem incredibly self-involved. I feel like the scenario you presented (very well, btw! 👏👏) is probably quite close to what actually happened between her and Beau. And likely she saw it as "tough love", but sometimes tough love isn't love at all, just a way for you to not have to care.

I think though, that part of the reason she's being the way she is with Avery (who, I can't really feel sorry for no matter what - hated him from the moment he let Emily wander off on her own at the end of Episode 2!) is because she's starting to realize just how stupid and short-sighted she was to walk away from a man like Beau just because he was going through a bad time. So, those feelings combined with Avery's duplicity and general skeevy-ness is making her realize her mistake.

I disagree though that the writers don't plan on giving us more backstory on Beau. I definitely think they will. It's only episode 10 this week after all. Then they're going on winter hiatus until January 4! And I just KNOW they're gonna leave us HANGING ona giant cliffhanger!! 😭😭

But, I digress! 😄

We have been getting more and more info about Beau's past as we've gone along, including the info that Emily found last episode. I'm sure the writers just don't want to give it all away at once. I can appreciate that.

And I think Beau is already much more than just a character that's there to increase the charm factor. 😊 I mean, he's definitely charming, that is a part of his personality. *Swoon*

But he's also shown himself to be a bit of a badass, without being an asshole who goes in guns blazing every time. He's shown compassion for criminals, and friends alike. He's a father who obviously adores his daughter and admires her intelligence and independence, but is desperate to keep her safe.

There are lots of aspects of his character that have been revealed. We just gotta be patient to find out more about what he's been through! And like you - I'M DYING to learn more!! 😍😍

i brute force everything. that is my only method of getting through anything, i just. any time i am frustrated i kinda just howl 'DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!' at it and make it my mission to remind it that it cannot best me.

it really just comes down to what is stumping me. usually what is stumping me is i feel that the words cannot do the picture in my head justice. and so i say, okay, and let the okay wash over me. the goal is not for the story to look the way it does in my head, the goal is for the story to be told. and if it's just that i feel i can write it "better" when i am inspired, then i will write the bad version now and fix it up when that inspiration strikes.

but i do not believe in writer's block, or writing when you are "inspired" and no other time. i have several disorders that make inspiration fickle and i do not have time to write only when i am inspired. i would make absolutely nothing if i did wait.

i would rather have 100 mediocre stories told than 1 really good one, because i feel like i am bursting, full of story ideas, and if i don't get them all out i will start to grow mold.

I know you're deep into AA at the moment (and I'm loving all the things I'm learning by osmosis, I swear I'll play/watch it eventually 😍) but do you have any ideas for any future pokeani fics some day?

waugh i generally write things the second i think of them fdhfdghfg i think the ONLY unwritten pokemon fic i had ideas for was a fucking hanamusa sickfic

oh! but my friend phoenix really wants to write a story about ash and jessie, and i want to help co-write it, and we are still in the LOOSEST planning stages and both very busy with sicktember/work but i am like so !!!! about the prospect of writing it eventually.

Do you format your italics in your writing as you go or do you go back and edit them all later?

i actually edit italics OUT when im posting/editing because i italicize words too much fjsdlhgsfdgjklsdf. i type them as i go and then i drop about twenty as i'm editing. literally i have a problem.
