Trigun Road Trip Week - Day 1 - Flora Looked up some flowers that meant Protection and found two I liked, the Aster and the Calendula The Aster (purple one) is a symbol of protection and Love while the Calendula (orange one) is a symbol of Protection and Healing Seems fitting for a man so desperate to protect people who both needs a lotta love and a lotta healing ;;v;; and also somewhat poetically ironic given the uh... healing kool aid

I really love that Natsume little by little is seeing Seiji as "human being" ..

That there's more to him the more he meet him unlike the very first impression he had of him ..

That even he too has many issues and problems to deals with ...

That even if he doesn't agree with him and still wary of him overall, he now little by little realize that he's more than this one part of him that he so hate ...

He saw his unexpected childish side, his family issue, the real burden of being a Matoba leader etc ..

Natsume slowly but surely seeing him as simply "Seiji" more than "Matoba" ...

Which's what Natori failed to do in the past, I mean Natori was stubborn and prideful to admit or face Seiji for who he really is that he simply run away from seeing any part of him that "humanize" him and cling to a certain impression he had for a long time .. not to mention even when Natori tried to see past that and reached out to him, Seiji wasn't very helpful in that regard 😅 (both of them is just killing me uuugh)

Thus I think Natsume unlike Natori won't run away from such facts or something even if he too doesn't agree or trust Seiji at all ... one of Natsume's strength is his ability in being empathetic and kind .. as this helped Natori and many characters whom met him, I love to see how'll that might also helped or changed Seiji too ... actually some changes might've already happened slowly but surely :)

Even the current Natori start wanting to trully face Seiji properly because of Natsume's influnce ..

I could write an essay about all of this because I just love seeing how those relationship develop overtime and how it'll affect the story moving forward ...

Genuinely I cannot choose, I’d love to see either Cody from the Hades AU or the Cowboy Clones please, whichever you feel like sharing!!

Cody is not looking much for the Hades AU for the time being…. Which is unfortunate (and very frustrating) because I would really like him to be done by the end of the month by CoDay.

So the way the Hades drawing process goes is that I scribble around a lot trying to find a pose that I like: it should have enough drama and flow to match the game’s aesthetics, but it is also unfortunately a static kind of standing pose from the top of the thigh up, so the movement really comes from flowy capes and robes and whatnot. And we know that Cody doesn’t have any swish on him in general. Traded his kama in for a jet pack or something. While I managed to come up with a solution for that (he’s getting Rex’s poncho look from TBB, I will just have to make sure his armor is visible enough underneath it) I’m not too hot on these two preliminary sketches either. I don’t want him to resemble Rex too much (and I’m already courting that with the helmet under the arm thing), and I also don’t want to just copy an already existing pose from the game or any other art (the one that I liked here is from an official-ish action figure pose of him I believe), and so I’ve been talking myself in and out of having him hold Obi-wan’s lightsaber (unlit) because he is unfortunately stuck in Achilles’s spot from the game… but I don’t want his whole thing to be about Obi-wan, you know? He’s a whole individual without his general too, but it would fit so well narratively, and maybe I can get away with this little detail just this once?

I’m still stuck brainstorming and sketching here, is the point ^^;

Now the cowboy clones are really something I’m real fond of :D they are stuck in this rough sketch stage because when I scribbled it out I was madly trying to come up with a concept for a cowboy event I had signed up for last year (and then failed to deliver), and I hadn’t yet figured out how I liked to draw clone faces but this is very firmly still in the Wip pile! It was going to be Cody and Rex, I just wanted them to hang out together :3

Soooo, this has been sitting in my WIP folder for ages. Here's a little sketch of Encanzo and Queen Sychorax from Cressida Cowell's the wizards of once series. Did this on one of my hour-long train rides to uni, back when I was listening to the audiobooks. I hadn't seen any of the illustrations at that point and was going completely off of the books' description (which really doesn't give you all that much to work with), so forgive me if it's a little off haha.

Was trying to come up with ideas for the fic I’m writing featuring the Mini’s, and thought about how on earth the rest of the Miniatures manage to get around the museum like Jed and Octavius can. 🤔

Like, I get the two have their car and what-not, but what about the rest of them? They could take their own horses and chariots, but that would require having multiples of those, and I doubt their exhibits have enough for each of them.

Another idea I had is that they simply walk, but don’t initially get out of ‘The Hall Of Miniatures’ often due to the fact it is a big museum where anything could happen to them, and that Larry doesn’t like the idea of all of them being out at once (McPhee can notice even one Mini out of place, much to Larry’s dismay, which has gotten him in trouble on multiple occasions. Especially during his first night from when everyone was still fighting.).

So…this leaves me to an idea that I’m not certain anyone else has already came up with at this point, but I’ll just spill it out anyways.

The Westerns manage to build a train route going through the inner walls of the museum, thus allowing anyone aside from Jed and Octavius to roam about the museum as they please, so long as they return to their rightful place by sunrise. Not entirely sure yet on how they do this, I’m working on the details and hoping it will come out good when finished. When it comes to explaining things, I’m not exactly the best at it (it always seems to make more sense in my head compared to on paper. Or in this case, Google Docs. 😅)

Hope you all like it! I’m planning to make a little preview for the story I’m making and post it on here. I’ll post the entirety of the story on ‘Ao3’, but maybe I’ll post it here as well. We’ll just have to see.
