Orym had such an epic takedown of the Juggernaut. Three attacks, three superior dice to make it a pushing one. Action Surge and repeat. I was so invested when I watched.
But I want to take a look at it from a role play standpoint.
Orym is usually the protector, the one who will make himself the target with his goading attacks. Or to do bait and switch and put himself in between the enemy and his friends. He does attack too quite often actually but when he does it’s usually to try and be fast.
In this case, it was fast but it was also angry. He used all his superior dice just to keep trying to push the Juggernaut into the lava despite it already taking 6d8 damage.
Fearne was right there. Held captive, across the lava from him. But he was angry and he chose to fight instead of to protect like he usually did. You see that realization on his next turn when all he could do was run and yell out Fearne’s name.
He used everything to kill that Juggernaut. But it left him with nothing to save his best friend.

The most romantic story I've ever heard is the Jewish Hassidic story about the king who went to his close friend and advisor and told him that he saw in the stars that next year's crops will be tainted and anyone who will eat from them will lose their sanity.
The advisor told him that they could save up some of this year's crops for themselves so they can remain sane for the next year while everyone else would not.
The king responded that if they did that, they will be considered the insane ones amongst everyone else, despite knowing the opposite.
The king went on to say that, since they can't save up good crop for everyone, they would also eat from the tainted crops but while doing so draw a sign on each other's foreheads so that whenever they look at each other at least they'll know together that they are both no longer sane.

do yhink theres like a life where bill accidentally 'kills' himself and isnt able to get to Dipper in time?
so dipper is just there thinking like no one will love me 😔😔💔 with no memories anf bill is just floating around pissed off
then BAM dipper remembers and comes to bills rescue somehow. then it cuts to dipper making fun of bill 🤭
A Fine concept! Alternately: A Dipper who still doesn't have his memories stumbling across Bill, and the subsequent shenanigans.

Night Dream Episode 3!
I'm really loving this series so far. I'm a sucker for best friends to lovers, and if you throw in best friends reuniting after separation? 😍
I think that they managed to do this drunken make out session without ever properly kissing on the lips? Which if so, is impressive, and great for Dream's continued pining after Night <3
I also really loved the very beginning of this because I legit thought their mouths were touching and then Night moves to kiss his cheek 🤔 Or maybe their mouths did touch and i'm just way over thinking 😂
And I'm such a fan of the tender hand on the back of the neck
I think this is as close as they got to properly kissing on the mouth:
Before Namwan breaks up the party, and Dream just rolls Night off of him lmao
And then Night wakes up looking at Dream like this the next day, even though he (at least allegedly) doesn't remember anything. (look at that beaming face!)
And poor Dream tries to play it off. You were so drunk last night, bro. But Night asks what happened, and Dream ends up like 👀😳🫠
*turns away* "It's better that you can't remember" 😭💔
But the real question is, is Night conscious of his love of and desire for Dream? Half the time I think no, but the other half, I think yes. I mean, there was this whole exchange in the past, where Night was having their, isn't x beautiful; yes, you are, moment.
Oh, best friends to lovers, I never tire of you.

Could you say more about what you know/like about each OBX director? I know their names but that’s really it, and I’d be curious to know more to form an opinion myself :) thanks in advance!!
Just now getting to this (I know we’re all shocked).
I’m not actually super knowledgeable on filming and the true line on who does what and where the combo is so I’m probably at least 50% talking out of my ass when I mention the directors. Just for warning haha. However, I have noticed that a lot of the most obnoxious cut offs of things I want to see happen in Darnell’s episodes, and sometimes I find some weird angles/motions are in her eps. It’s not that it always looks awful on screen but for fan content creation it can be really annoying.
Jonas tends to give a lot of the iconic pogue scenes. Valerie is AMAZING and thoughtful and I want her back on another major Jiara episode instead of wasted on Stopper. Gonzalo gave us these beauties… and they are wide and cinematic and so pretty!

the toxicity of hika/kyo and kyo/kao existing in the same timeline though is so funny to me too. kyoya and kaoru dating and hikaru being like wtf why, how could kaoru's taste be so different to mine...how could he like this dumb bastard accountant he's not even THAT hot.
lying awake at night glaring at the ceiling, fists clenched. absolutely furious about it. dreaming about kyoya kissing him in the moonlight. oscillating wildly between being SO MAD ABOUT IT and being like oh god i'm a terrible brother kaoru's going to hate me forever for my dreams about his freak boyfriend doing my tax returns...but like in a hot way ig
