Incoming ramble I wanna hear you’re thoughts on this cause it’s been on my brain for a little bit and it’s got me in my feels

K so I forget if it’s in the step 3 prologue or in the Drive moment but either way when on the topic of Cove leaving for Nevada every now and again and choosing how your MC feels about it there’s the option to choose that it makes you sad and nervous specifically because the little 8 year old in you (who remember was probably HORRENDOUSLY lonely) was scared that Cove was gonna leave and never come back

Now that option alone already gets to me (cause I relate to it hard cough cough) but just imagine the MC actually confessing to Cove about that fear!! Obviously the MC doesn’t want to make Cove stop going cause yknow he’s literally going to see his own mom but MC also can’t deny that there’s that sad lonely little kid inside their head who just doesn’t want to be left alone again so they’re kinda just stuck in the dilemma. But soon enough after feeling well enough to admit it they finally tell Cove about it and get to actually work it out!!!

We're not clowns anon we're not! She will be back I know this. This isn't a very long post but I'll still put it under a cut so I won't clog anyone's dash. Here's my take on how Nobara can, and hopefully will, be important in the series going forward. (Spoilers up to ch 199)

Right, so I do mean her cursed technique as a way to injure Sukuna! Nobara's been stablished to be able to hurt souls before, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if she does come back understanding the core of cursed energy better, as she was trying to do, she should be able to pinpoint where exactly Yuji's soul ends and where Sukuna's begins. IF and only if she is able to see this, then nothing stops her from just doing this to Sukuna:

There are a lot of caveats though, Sukuna is immensely strong, for one, and the damage from Resonance really varies depending on the strength difference between Nobara and her target, so we'll need a way to bypass this and maybe have someone else weaken him. Now if we're talking about saving Yuji, the latest chapter gave us a new problem, since Angel says 99% of the times trying to separate a vessel from a cursed object will end with them dying, but it's not a 100% chance! This may just be Gege's way of foreshadowing something with that 1%. And if Nobara does have anything to do with helping Yuji that would make it twice she beat these silly percentages, as Arata said her survival chance "was low but not 0%" :)

Oh, and while writing this post it just occurred to me that Resonance may be a sure-hit type of attack, similar (but not the same) to Kashimo's lightning. Makes me wonder what would happen if Nobara were to use it on one of Sukuna's fingers. She can disable cursed tools (Momo's broom) so maybe she is also able to disable cursed objects like the fingers, and I'm using the word disable because cursed objects can't be destroyed, but who knows maybe affecting the soul of them actually could destroy them, since now we know per chapter 198 inanimate objects have souls as well. There's still the power difference between her and Sukuna, but his fingers are another way she could reach his soul without necessarily "seeing" it.

I do believe Nobara's return will have her more involved with the plot (copium) so this could be a cool way of doing that. I don't have more theories regarding this or how she could get to a level to actually hurt someone like that, but the setup is really there imo, and killing Sukuna's soul does seem like the easiest way to get rid of him while keeping Yuji alive.

OK, SO I HAVE THOUGHT(S).

HA. now, i kinda feel bad about him. he’s really making efforts to win their friendship back. but, again, he deserves it, you know. he needs to try harder, work more. feeling bad about him now doesn’t really compare to all the things he put her through these past few months.

i think, so far, jimin didn’t really do anything to jungkook—well, besides being cheeky and full of mischief and just overall jimin as his sexy self—for jungkook to be so huffy with him. i think jungkook’s just acting on his feelings towards oc right now—feelings we still don’t understand what really mean—that’s why he’s easily provoked by jimin’s presence.

He read your favourite book? That doesn’t make sense. He would never pick up a book. No matter how many times you’ve wanted him to read one of your favourites.

But as you flick through the book you see all the little notes he wrote with his black pen on the side of the pages. Sometimes there were sticky notes attached when his thoughts were too long to write next to the paragraphs. It’s a thick book as well, so you’re stunned to see almost every page marked with his black ink.

ANNOTATED BOOKS ARE SO PERSONAL !!! at least for me; i annotate my books as if it’s my diary. and if i ever give it to someone, that someone must be a person i truly trust and comfortable sharing my private thoughts with. so seeing jungkook do that to miss oc..... *emotional noises*

i feel like i truly grasp the idea of why you wrote that part, why you made jungkook’s gift her favorite book. most importantly, the gesture is more meaningful because jungkook is not a bookworm. and if you made a non-bookworm read your favorite book AND annotate it with full details, that’s some kind of a personal achievement! they really come as best friends first and foremost 😭 i love this pair so much, angsty hidden feelings and all.

fine. i’m kinda moved now by his little action. all butterflies and giggles for now, like what oc is feeling 🙄 i’m very moved by it, yes, but do we forgive him? a little. like 0.5%! but still... he has a long way to go.

also, i don’t want to get my hopes up. jungkook doesn’t show much growth from his dumbness still. he might do something after this and disappoint us all over again, and i’m sure he will.

hi caly im back after reading moc41 and just... mind: blown. tears: none left. throat: sore after screaming into my pillow so much. emotional stability: basically gone from the amount of damage made in this chapter. but all that aside I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

and i cant even talk too much about wooyoung and yeosang it pains me and it even GETS WORSE OH MY GOD?!! but apart from that, i’m also super curious about the thing yeosang said to y/n too. i have a tiny theory basically about that part, but when i first read it i thought it sounds like y/n was part of the slave group wooyoung was in when yeosang was still prince??? like yeosang was somehow gonna choose y/n in that group, but ended up choosing wooyoung instead. or even if she wasn’t actually in the slave group it’s something about wooyoung beind chosen in y/n’s place, and yeosang already met her before she joined the crew. and y/n seemed so confused because she got brainwashed so she’s couldn’t remember all that (?)

then... wooyoung and yeosang 😭 the most painful part for me as well tbh ahh yeah god damn !!! there's a lot to it and a lot in it and a lot of pain and layers of course! i can't say much but you are on the right track indeed with your theory and that's all i can say 🤐 but we have to remember that y/n lost her memories not once but twice! before joining the military and when jisung went in too! so there's definitely a lot of possibilities in there!!

There's nothing worse than a lacklustre final match, but this one was a mix of boring (girst half) and nerve-wracking (the rest of it). Mbappe living up to his Ninja Turtle persona, I mean they really needed to have a talk cause ☠ I don't pay much attention to PSG, but I'm surprised they're not doing better, I remember they didn't make it to quarter finals last season, but then Barcelona didn't even left the group stage so 🤔

I was never a huge fan of Messi (I know he's good he just annoyed me like most Barca players ajhdiajsjsnsjdhsjsj not as much as Pique or Busquets 🔪) but then Neymar happened and he took the annoying crown. But yeah I know they're both talented, I just don't like watching them 😅 even though they're out of Barca
