His Eyes

Looking into his eyes was like looking into a deep forest

Where the sun rarely peaked through the thick canopy of leaves and branches

And the trees created a mirage of every shade of green and brown known to man

Looking into his eyes brought me peace

It made the world around me disappear as if I was in an enchanted forest with only him

I felt safe and loved

The pure, unadulterated adoration and tenderness made me weak in the knees

Thawing the frost from my once broken heart, melting me from the inside out

The warmth from his gaze radiated through me like a summer breeze flowing through the branches of a willow tree

It was singlehandedly the best felling I've ever felt

Well, that's at least what my mind imagines it would feel like

The truth is I've never experienced this with him

Only through the screens and cameras of our phones and pictures he'd send from across the world

The ocean that separates us is my worst enemy

But it's hard to be upset when his love travels to me and through me from afar

The universe is cruel

Making me fall in love with a man with whom I've never met

Sending me into spirals of joyful euphoria

I yearn to feel this again

Not with anyone else

Just him

another supernatural brain rot fueled post incoming! after a lot of these supernatural music videos on youtube. as much as i am against the last seaosn for various reasons, but realizing something along the way. that it took dean fiteen years from the moment we are introduced to him on the show. to find a semblance of hope in his life. to realize that after all of his setbacks, losses, pain, and anger. that he can be happy. that their is something in the form of a ' decent and happy life ' he can have at the end of season fifteen. that he isn't the cold killer that chuck said he was, one point rowena too, and even crowley. that he doesn't want to be what people think he is. what he has been. because he's thrown everything at the supernatural forces of this world for love, for family, and then what he fought hard for more then a decade is swiftly ripped from him as the writers killed him off. it's why i don't care for it. though that same realization that he learns finally at the end of the series is important to my interpatation. season fifteen doesn't exist in a few ways until i find a way to retcon it. the journey of self realization dean goes on however sticks. he is loved and can love and he can have what he thought for so damn long was unobtainable to him.

#maybe i'm missing the mark for dean sometimes #but i think the most present theme #is no one at any point #has ever hated dean more then himself #that when he thinks he gets to a point #where he's content #they are secure #and ahead of whatever threat of the year #just for a setback to happen #and then he retreats and relapses back #i strive hard to try to break the mold and make dean my own #but conform heavily to the themes i know i can easily write for dean #such as the father issues #and more #dean is kind of a comfort character #as an older sibling #i wanted to be like dean in his devotion #his love #for his family
