⭑ There’s many plants and the windows are always open - and one time someone broke in, and Steve uses that to always get you and Eddie to CLOSE THE GODDAMN WINDOWS.

⭑  YOU GUYS HAVE AN AQUARIUM, or like a medium-sized tank with a bunch of goldfish (because you guys can’t afford all the stuff for the other fish and you all agree that you don’t want to buy those other fish and watch them die.)

⭑ There is so much fun - someone is always suggesting to go to the beach, or the arcade, or the mall

⭑ Eddie’s room is a mess, but an organised mess

⭑ Steve’s room is SO organised. Everything has it’s spot, and he knows where EVERYTHING is. Which astounds Eddie utterly and completely 

⭑ There are posters in the living room, kitchen, and hallway. It’s not a huge apartment, but it is pretty spacey (renting was good in the olden days)

⭑ Steve gets a job as school teacher, while Eddie works on his music and ends up working at a car shop. 

⭑ Maybe you’re still finding yourself and you work in hospitality? Either way, no one is pushing you to find your career

⭑ Oh and obviously you’re all out of school

⭑ Robin is over A LOT 

⭑ She’s practically a roommate 

⭑ And so is Dustin

⭑ He’s usually on the couch, with a bag of chips and a soda 

⭑ But no one minds, he’s like an adopted child 

⭑ The threat of the Upside Down is still there, and sometimes someone wakes up from a nightmare and can’t get back to sleep

⭑ Or there’s a big bang and a panic attack ensues 

⭑ But there’s always a shoulder to cry on, and big arms to keep you safe 

⭑ Eddie forgets to lock the front door all the time 

⭑ And there’s a spare key underneath a pot plant at the front 

⭑ You probably adopt pets - but they’re strays. 

⭑ It started because you felt bad about an older cat who looked so hungry. So, you left out some food for the ol’ guy. 

⭑ Then another cat came

⭑ And then you realised that it wasn’t an old cat... it was a pregnant one. Who only looked old because she was a month from giving birth and she was waddling around. 

⭑ But she was malnourished 

⭑ And you told Steve that you couldn’t let anything bad happen to this mum cat or her babies 

⭑ And Eddie agreed wholeheartedly 

⭑ Eddie is definitely a himbo wife 

⭑ Steve is the ‘I’m in charge blah blah blah’ but really, you’re in charge. And he folds with one stern look from you.

OKAY I JUST FINISHED THE IKEPRI PROLOGUE (finally it felt so long) but here are my thoughts!

Leon seems really nice! He's very charming and I love that he always cares about what MC thinks? Sweet good guy vibes

Chevalier is acting like a bitch but I can already guess he's actually a big softie, tho it takes me a long time to warm up to prickly characters

Yves is the prickly porcupine of the game, mozart ieyasu equivalent, so I'm sure I'll love him after I play his route but rn he just seems childish to me😃

Nokto feels too flirty??? which is so weird bc I love Arthur??? Man idk he doesn't feel as charming as Arthur idk😭

Licht seems interesting but honestly I know nothing about him, would like to play his route tho

Clavis seems fun! He looks like the teasing type but he feels like Mistuhide from ikesen, so I am kinda interested in him

Jin seems kinda plain idk, his eyes are also kinda small🫣 not as aesthetically pleasing as others

Biweekly Media Roundup

- Trigun (Anime) - Still hyperfixated, there’s some pretty good fics coming out for this fandom. 

- The Vampire Dies In No Time (Anime) - I don’t have anything new to say about this one, it’s stupid but in an endearing way, John is adorable. 

- Love Is War (Anime) - Now completely caught up, I definitely see why this is one of the top ranked romance anime, its very funny with super likable characters and creative setups for comedy. There actually seems to be quite a lack of fanrt for it though considering the size of the fandom, strange. 

- Tengoku Daimakyou (Anime) - I’m not sure what to expect with this one which is a good thing, it’s got some genuinely interesting worldbuilding so far. Also a trans lead, which is pretty cool. I’m really interested to see where this goes, it’s been a while since I’ve gone so blind into a mystery like this. 

- Dr, Stone (Anime) - Glad it’s back, the bread baking concept was fun, and I still love Senku as a protagonist. 

- Oshi No Ko (Anime) - Well this show is. Interesting. I saw it trending pretty high on my anime list which I thought was strange given that idol anime rarely break out of their specific idol-loving fanbase, but then I read a summary on the first episode and yeah I get it now. There are some...weird elements to the story that I really don’t appreciate but the main plot is pretty engaging, and I’m really enjoying all the behind the scenes entertainment industry info and acting drama-Makes me nostalgic for Skip Beat!.I need more time to grow attached to the characters themselves but if they keep up the acting drama this could be a favorite for the season.

- Campfire Cooking in Another World (Anime) - Finished the first season of this relaxing cooking anime. I think it succeeded in being exactly wanted it wanted to be, and I can respect that. I hope it gets a 2nd season, as I quite like this little monster family and want to see their low stakes adventures continue. Also it made me really miss Japanese food with how good they made it look. I want katsudon so bad. 

- The Locked Tomb Series (Books) - Well the end of Gideon the Ninth made me feel many emotions. I’m making my way through Harrow fairly slowly but the Ianth/Harrow interactions have been a blast. I miss Gideon though TT_TT Please let me see my lesbian himbo soon.

- Resident Evil 4 (Video Game) - Most of the way through 4 now, we’ve been watching the cutscenes with stupid outfits on Leon and Ashley which really changes the tone of them I’ll tell you. I forgot how short of a game it is but it’s been a ton of fun. Might buy it myself to replay a few times.

As usual I’m also keeping up with The Greatest Estate Developer, Land of the Lustrous, The Vampire Dies In No Time, and The S Classes that I raised.

Abbacchio would be different. He can just tell where Giorno inherited his self-righteousness and do-no-wrong personality from and its this guy and he fucking hates it. The man literally GLOWS with righteousness. This is not okay. Jonathan is a good man, but he can only take so much perfection in one household.

Joseph

Himbo king. Not very smart, but he means well. Won’t ever shut up about whatever’s on his mind, but there’s some kind of weird charm to that.

Bruno could care less about intelligence and thinks the man gives good hugs. He’s a very persuasive and warm person and sometimes Bruno just needs to like—sit on the roof and let this big beefy 20-year-old man wrap his scarf around him and tell him that things are gonna be fine. :) Oldseph is nice to him and his kids and shows them weird Hamon magic tricks. What is there to hate?

Leone is annoyed beyond fucking MEASURES because he didn’t think that someone in their 20s could still act like they’re 11. Honestly, he’s a bit jealous that he can never be that childlike again. Surprisingly though, he latches onto him pretty quick because Joseph reminds him of his kids :’) Oldseph is one of the only people who can make him laugh, though. The fact that he’s survived so much bullshit and can still act so witty gives him a shred of hope for his own life.

Jotaro

A man of few words. Is somehow both awkward and confident at the same time. Can’t sit on couches properly because of how tall he is. Isn’t the best at showing his feelings, but he always means well.

It’s almost impossible for Bucciarati to dislike someone, but he just,,,feels threatened whenever Joot is in the room. Maybe it's because he’s a 6′5″ 181 pound man that’s spoken maybe 4 words since he’s entered but he gets this air of intensity whenever he’s around him. He learns later after a few beers that the man is just the most socially awkward and emotionally constipated person on the planet. He wouldn’t say they become friends, but he finds that he doesn’t have to keep his guard up around him anymore.

Abbacchio loves silence. Abbacchio loves Jotaro. The man is like a godsend compared to everyone else in this house. Quiet, reserved, polite, doesn’t take shit from anyone,,,the list goes on. The two of them could sit outside for hours and never feel awkward about it. And the fact that marine life is his entire job keeps the kids occupied enough for him to actually do shit. Jotaro is a winner in his book.

Josuke

Like his father but actually has a filter. A true bro. Daddy issues but who doesn't? Is the definition of wholesome content. Stand looks like bubblegum ice cream. Is baby.

Bruno loves him. He and Giorno bond over healing and he’s literally the sweetest person Bruno’s ever met. Soft boy needs hugs. Soft boy needs parental figure. Soft boy will get both immediately and it WILL be from Bruno. If he knew that Joseph was his dad, you best believe there’d be some mega scolding going on. Long story short, yes yes. Yes.

Leone will hate the kid upon meeting him but then learn some more stuff about him and think “hey, this kid actually isn’t that bad.” At this point Leone’s just like fuck it there’s another kid here and doesn’t think much of it because Josuke isn’t exactly annoying per say, he’s just there. Which is fine as long as Josuke doesn’t become annoying. Which he probably will :)

Relationship headcanons for: Leon, Raihan, and Piers

Since I plan on writing for these nerds I decided to make a small list of what they were like in relationships so I can remember for later use. Decided to share because hey, why not? I still have more characters to do, so I’ll either add to this or make a new post. Leon:

  Kind of cocky but not too much, 100% will flaunt his title to impress his S/O, who in turn would find it adorable but probably call him a himbo for it. 

He’s not jealous easily but will get protective over his S/O if need be, and doesn’t really like others taking advantage of him always working to get close to them. 

If his S/O can handle their own (or even beat him) in a battle, he’s going to be absolutely stoked and probably constantly challenge them to battles in his free time.

He’s big into spending time with his S/O and despite the busy schedule will make time for them, even if it’s only to meet up for lunch or come home for thirty minutes and cuddle while watching horrible TV shows. 

He’ll make the time for his S/O, but if for some reason he is too busy he’ll send a message to his S/O and let them know.

Raihan:

He’s known as kind of a player and has definitely been with a couple of people in the past, but once he meets his S/O it’s all over for him. 

He’s going to pull every trick in the book to make them like him, and hopefully have them reciprocate the feelings. 

Will invite them out and take tons of photos if they let him, maybe even live stream. 

Will make his announcement that they’re together as flashy as possible if his S/O is cool with it. If not he’ll just post about it on social media so people know what’s up. 

He’s pretty protective over his S/O and will get jealous, but tends to try to stuff the feelings and talk about it later. After all, he already won and trusts his S/O to not hurt him. 

Still, he’s not the best at hiding his obvious jealousy and will occasionally flash those fangs of him to get others away. 

He won’t do it if his S/O looked a bit peeved at the behavior, but if this happens his S/O will have to make it up to him by telling him how much they love him later on.

Piers:

This man is one of the kings of bear hugs, he doesn’t look like it but he is.

 With how tall he is, it’s very uncommon for his S/O to be larger than him, but even if they are it won’t stop him. 

He will also shower his S/O in compliments and telling them how cool they are. 

He’s a huge tease and if his S/O doesn’t like PDA and he wants to rile them up, he’ll do something adorable like his their hand or the back of their neck, sending them into a blushing mess. 

Piers loves an S/O who will be in the crowd for all his concerts as well, cheering him on. 

He’ll often steal glances over at them during his show, making his S/O melt. After the show, if his S/O was there, he’ll drag them into the back room and spend time with them. 

He needs a supportive S/O that’s also pretty independent though and doesn’t want them to rely on him for everything. 

He likes confidence so if his S/O isn’t, they better be prepared for him to work on boosting them up so they can see just how wonderful they are.

Rusted Sword AU 2.0

remember the original Rusted Sword AU? canceled. here’s the new and improved version.

okay so Excalibur is iron. when it’s thrown into the lake it becomes tarnished, which is where the AU gets its name.

most of the basics are still the same: 

Gwen and Leon are part of a secret pro-magic resistance

Elyan left because he has magic

Uther is the main antagonist & physically abusive toward Arthur/Morgana

Balinor was able to hide in Ealdor until Merlin was ten, at which point he left to protect Merlin. Merlin thinks he died until he meets Kilgharrah

Ealdor was attacked by bandits and burned. everyone was killed except for Will, who later died from his wounds. he and Merlin were traveling through the forest trying to get to Gaius.

Merlin gets arrested while burying Will’s body because Camelot Patrol thinks Merlin killed him, which is how Arthur and Merlin meet

Merlin is basically an accidental arsonist. his magic is directly connected to his emotions, so when he gets upset, things light on fire.

the ships are still Arthur/Merlin, Gwen/Morgana, and Elyan/Gwaine/Percival. Elyan, Gwaine, and Percival’s lovestory isn’t really part of the main plot but it’s happening in the background while everything is going on.

also,,, the timeline of this makes no sense, but just ignore that lmao

NEW STUFF:

Nimueh is the Lady of the Lake, not Freya (Freya has her own role, don’t worry). when she left Camelot, she used her magic to create a safe haven for herself in the lake. she ended up raising Lancelot. she has no idea how she ended up with a son with such a strict moral code.

when Lancelot rolls up to Camelot, he’s not only lying about being a noble, but ALSO that his mother figure is. y’know. one of Camelot’s top ten most wanted. he doesn’t actually have any magic but he IS sensitive to it so he can easily recognize sorcerers (i.e., Merlin). Merlin knows he was raised by a sorceress, but he doesn’t know anything about Nimueh (until later)

Lancelot is trying to subtly find out more about the resistance so he and Nimueh can help them. he and Gwen immediately flock to each other (they recognize the “responsible with a love for hijinks and tomfoolery” personality type) and Gwen goes. “hmm. yeah alright i could use this himbo” and BOOM, Lance and his secret sorceress mom are part of the resistance.

SIDE NOTE: the resistance’s thing isn’t just fighting Uther. they also help those with magic/those who have been accused of magic get out of Camelot. this is how Freya fits in. she’s one of the people they help escape. SHE SURVIVES and goes to live in the lake with Nimueh. Nimueh can’t undo the curse, but she CAN give Freya free will. so now Freya’s in control over her actions when she transforms.

Merlin still decides to teach Morgana about magic. at first he’s trying to set up actual lessons like Balinor did with him (remember, Balinor left when Merlin was ten) but then he quickly realizes uhh. the reason Balinor’s lessons didn’t work was because Merlin’s magic is connected to his emotions, and thus WAY TOO POWERFUL, and Morgana is,,,, basically the same.

they’re still doing lessons and plotting against Uther, but it’s less “Merlin teaches Morgana” and more “let’s gossip while trying to piece together magic history, heal from our trauma, and figure out how to control our magic.” it’s the literal definition of “let’s fuck around and find out”

enter Morgause. they think she’s like Nimueh and wants to aid the resistance, but she just tries to manipulate all of them. exit Morgause.

Balinor dies at some point (it’s a personal problem) and Merlin becomes a Dragonlord. before that happens though Merlin and Kilgharrah are just. CONSTANTLY yelling at each other. it’s like their canon dynamic but funnier because this time, Merlin DOES actually know what’s going on.

there’s some sort of interlude ghost plotline. Merlin realizes, hey, my parents are dead but they’re happy in the afterlife, and no one blames me for their deaths (which is great). but something fucks up, and now Will is just. a ghost. they find his body buried somewhere in the forest, and use magic to basically make him a zombie. he goes to live in Nimueh’s wayward lake home (which is now a base for the resistance. a lot of sorcerers are relocated there so they’re out of danger)

Gwen and Merlin launch Operation Woo the Royals at some point. at the same time, Arthur and Morgana launch Operation Woo the Servants. these plans conflict with each other and ultimately cancel each other out, to the frustration and confusion of everyone involved. it eventually works out though because before the Final Battle™, Morgana and Gwen confess to each other. because they’re dramatic, Merlin and Arthur confess after one of them nearly dies

AT SOME POINT they all get involved the resistance, Arthur realizes Uther is bad, they start planning, etc. all of the main knights are spies (Leon is their biggest one)

Aithusa is born and Kilgharrah is released at some point. Kilgharrah and Arthur meet and because Arthur is pro-magic at that point, they have a tentative alliance. 

when the Final Battle™ finally happens, there’s a whole bunch of shit going on, but basically all their allies show up. Morgana/Gwen are leading a team and so are Merlin/Arthur. the dragons are causing problems. Freya, Nimueh, Will and Lancelot are ALSO causing problems (are Freya and Lancelot a thing in this AU? i’ll let you decide). Mithian and Elena show up and help out.

Uther dies in a thematically appropriate way (not sure who kills him, but i feel like it should be Morgana). Arthur, Morgana, Gwen, and Merlin become the new rulers of Camelot.

Morgana is the high priestess. she works with Nimueh, Merlin, and the Druids to try to recover all the knowledge, culture, and religion that was lost during the Purge. she also tries to reintegrate magic back into Camelot and make records of everyone who died.

Merlin is the head court sorcerer, head court physician, AND the last Dragonlord (he’s very busy, but basically he’s not the only physician or sorcerer, he’s just the Main One). his first students are Daegal and Gilli and they work with Morgana to recover old healing spells, make new ones, etc.

Gwen is both the leader of Camelot AND the leader of the resistance. the resistance still exists, but it’s now more about reform and reeducation. she helps weed out anti-magic nobles, creates programs to make sure citizens are being educated and fed properly, etc. she also helps find family members/homes for magical individuals that were forced to flee. 

Arthur is the technical Official King™. he does knight stuff. icon ❤️

most of the main characters either end up living in the castle or in Nimueh’s lake, and EVERYONE SURVIVES (except for like. Hunith, Balinor, Morgause, Cenred, and others).

I'm on mobile but give me the tea on Leon for the unpopular opinion, king

leon isn’t stupid whatsoever. he’s extremely intelligent. him being a little dense emotionally and bad with directions doesn’t make him “stupid” or a “himbo”. i don’t mind jokes calling him dumb because i definitely do it too—but when it starts leaking into your actual portrayal and opinion of him, then it’s an issue. the constant painting of brown men in fandoms as idiots is like... disgustingly racist. check yourselves

this surprisingly popular theory of leon not actually being a good trainer goes against everything we see in game. he was basically mustard’s top student (before the player) and mustard saw his potential before anyone else. opal makes a comment on leon’s skills as well if you read the paper in her gym. leon wipes the floor with people/pkmn even outside of official matches. the amount of people i’ve seen theorizing that rose just rigged leon’s matches and leon didn’t win fair and square just drives me INSANE. why are you so desperate to undermine a brown man’s success. and yes i KNOW if leon was white these theories wouldn’t be as prevalent

he has so much more potential as a character than “XD himbo champion who gets lost all the time” and i’m glad to know people willing to explore beyond that. but it drives me crazy how shallow people can be with him

actually a lot of popular but bad takes i see about leon seem to be steeped in racism and tbh swsh fandom doesn’t deserve him lol
