So I just found out from my astronomy class on hexrpg that Pluto was demoted--the members of the union tried making it scientific, but I think they just didn't want to make our solar system too complicated. Like 8 planets is enough for the public to remember--11 would be waaay too many names 🤣

It's days like this that I really miss old RPG websites. Like websites that hosted such a variety of RP forums based on whatever book/movie/show you could imagine, as well as a good slew of original ideas. I'm sure they're still around in some way, but I'm just an old fogey that has no idea of tracking them down.

I miss being on those sites, roleplaying with whoever was around. No need to hunt people down for interactions, you would just wait and hope that someone would join you in your fun. Hell, one of my oldest OCs that I still use comes from those days on those forums.

Now, it feels so hard to find people to RP with, what with conflicting schedules or just not feeling any inspiration.

I miss using my little blorbos.

PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: I'm easy breezy, either tumblr IM's or discord. I do forget to reply sometimes though. I don't mean too, but its like I plan a response in my head and forget that I didn't actually send it.

EXPERIENCE: 15-17 years (ewww)

BEST EXPERIENCE: I tend to have the memory of a goldfish, so it's hard to think of any. I remember my bad experiences in life better than the best experiences; but I would have to say the friends and family by choice I have met and made along the way.

PLATFORMS YOUV’E USE: Uhm, more than a couple actually - Hexrpg, various forum based rp's, discord, kik, tumblr, over text with a friend in high school, over email, wire, msn - tumblr's been the longest running one though.

RP PET PEEVS & DEAL BREAKERS: God modding is definitely a big one. Also and I might be showing my age a bit with the terminology but Mary-Sue's. I think my biggest pet peeve though is how female muses get overlooked a lot of the time in favour of male muses, like I don't care if your muses are only romantically interested in male muses, we can still do platonic/family/enemy stuff with my girlies.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Admittedly, I'm not the best at plotting. I'm good at adding onto plots if my partner has a base idea but I blank when I try to come up with plots myself honestly. I love meme's though, even if I'm 500 years behind on meme's, I love them so much.

FLUFF/ANGST/SMUT: I love fluffy or domestic/slice of life threads. Angst I can enjoy, but in small doses because I start to empathetically feel what my muses are feeling. Smut, I need to be close to and

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I'm down for all lengths to be honest, the only thing I can't really do is one liners for more than a couple of opening posts. I always end up making it longer. I try to match my partner as a minimum though. Longer threads do take me a while though.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: Irritatingly, at night. Which sucks because I need to get up early for work and my brain is like 'I'm on a roll - let me write', next thing I know it's 1-2am and I'm up at between 5.30-6.30am on weekdays.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES ?: Honestly? I'm not sure. I'm sure there is certain traits and qualities I share with some muses (I do have plenty muses after all), but not really sure what traits or which ones.

Best experience: I don’t really have a best experience. But really any time someone actually takes the time out to roleplay with me or create ships with me and my characters are my favorite experiences.

RP pet peeves / dealbreakers: Pushy people (I used to be one until I realized and stopped), people who hate on OCs or like to talk down on OCs, one liners or one words, if I double with someone and they’d rather it be all about them or their character. People who want a story to go a certain way that they god mod your character (I literally had someone get mad because I added an action in on their character and they thought I was taking over their character, meanwhile they’re actually moving and playing my character)

Fluff, angst, or smut: I’m not good at smut. I don’t mind a fade to black, but I’m not good at smut nor do I feel comfortable with it. Give me all the angst! And fluff of course!

Plots or memes: I can turn any meme into a plot easily so either or.

Best time to write: im not a night owl but night is usually because im able to wind down and concentrate.

Harry Potter - interest 1

I’ve always been super into anything fantasy and I was immediately drawn to the wonderful world of harry potter. Over the years I’ve been getting more and more into fandom and much more. I’ve even tried shifting into the HP universe (with no luck yet.) I’ve even started collecting the Nobel collection along with other items- some items coming straight from Hogsmeade + Diagon alley in universal studios Florida :)

If you are into HP like i am, here is a short little intro.

I’m in Slytherin even though many people say I'm a Slytherpuff. I have the full book set along with the whole movie set! :) I sometimes go onto HEXRPG (Hogwarts Extreme) to keep my creativity flowing and it’s a way to learn more about the wizarding universe :)

Questionable Decisions

HEXRPG praises itself for being safe for “ALL” users, pray tell then why for transphobia, racism, homophobia, lesbophobia, etc were not only allowed but defended as “opinions”? And why is it that now, when users speak up about how you’re continuing to harm them in an effort to hold your staff accountable, you instead decide to break your own protocols and ban six users with no warning. Let’s not forget, what these users were accused of and given as reasons for being banned were blatant and violent lies. Though, what’s more suspicious is the fact that that decision happened so quickly, and why a different decision has still yet to be made regarding a staff member with the username “Lilyanabell” who . . . well I’ll allow you to read for yourself.

Now let’s define what those words in that last screenshot say.

Not to bad right? But let’s go into those next two.

Hmm but Lily, you specified exactly who you have xenophobia towards. Do you actually mean racist?

And that last bit, homophobic, well Lily which is it, are you homophobic or not?

Homophobia is having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people.

Seems a bit contradictory to us.
