So things have been absolutely busy over here for a while.

We moved in May! Most of the (essential) unpacking is done, and the early repairs absolutely demolished our savings. But we like it so much here, and it's been great for our health. The dog (she's 10 now?!) is having her second puppyhood with all this space and interesting things to see.

Which includes crows, I'm working on being friends with them ❤

The dog is not allowed near them XD

We had a giant free mulch delivery last weekend so we've been tackling that bit by bit. It takes a ridiculous amount of wheelbarrows to make a dent in 20 yards of wood chips. We're about 30 into the pile and 4/5 of it is still there O.O If you think that sounds like a lot, the first garden plot still needs 4 more barrows XD And it's the small one. (This would be why I didn't have a landscaper do it, could you imagine the cost? But my BACK)

I've also been working two jobs plus trying to get my illustration commissions open and like YIKES I have not had much in the way of social spoons after that.

And the bills are still ahead of me >.>

So yeah. Busy, stressed, overheated, and sore, but overall mostly doing better? I just have big heckin medical and dental bills I can't climb over right now :p So if anyone wants art? Hi? Art? Yes. I do art.

did anyone ask? no. do i care? no.

IceClan cats! They live in the snowy mountains. They're usually fluffy and tend to have brown or gray coats (because Natural Selection Exists); if cats don't have brown or gray coats, they probably are (or are descendants of) a cat outside their Clan. That being said, IceClan is usually one of the more hospitable Clans (at least, the cats are; the mountains are Not Friendly) so a variety of pelt colors is pretty much a given.

Blazetalon (molly, she/they), Dreamchaser (tom, he/they), and Goldfire (molly, she/her)! Goldfire is the daughter of Goldenstream (molly, she/her) and Nightstrike (tom, he/they), littermate to Blackface (tom, he/it/they) and Wrenkit (molly, she/her, died in kithood). Blazetalon is a former loner, found as a kit, abandoned by the edge of IceClan's territory, by their medicine cat Firestorm (amab, she/her). Goldenstream took care of her since she was practically the same age as her own kits. Dreamchaser was born in MoonClan to Stormbright (tom, he/they, leader) and Milkspot (molly, they/she), but left after Politics divided his Clan (something something Storm died but the deputy was revealed to have kits in another clan and the conservative cats Did Not Like That. (also they didn't like that Dream had gotten Gold pregonat WHOOPS so he was just like "okay but if i join IceClan then nobody will have a problem with this, right?" and then he joins IceClan)

they are bisexual and they have a dumb love triangle but all three ways (+ comphet "im really close to this girl so im just gonna call her my sister even though that feels wrong"). Dreamchaser dies and then Goldfire gets depressed so Blazetalon helps her and then Blazetalon dies and then Goldfire is all sad like "oh they wont want me to die because theyre together in cat heaven" and then Blaze and Dream are like "you absolute dummy. polyamory" and then when Gold dies they are a happy throuple in cat heaven 😌

(dont mind the old goldfire design in there, i dont have the raw file for this one anymore and i just dont wanna fix it)

oh and dreamchaser is heckin SHORT. we stan the short king <3

also out of the three, Goldfire and Dreamchaser are the only ones that have kits. They have three: Eclipseheart (amab, any pronouns, prefers they/them), Elkdapple (tom, he/it/paw), and Eveningshade (molly, she/they). Eveningshade doesn't have a ref yet so have this super-old drawing from back when i drew with a mouse (yikes)

These cool guys are some of the cats in Goldfire and Blazetalon's age group (technically Dreamchaser's as well but he wasn't in IceClan at the time): Duststorm (tom, any non-fem pronouns), Eaglegaze (amab, they/them), and Shadowedmask (tom, he/him). I haven't drawn Duststorm's littermates Lightfoot and Whitewind, but they exist too. Also Duststorm and Eaglegaze are siblings from different litters; Eagle (and their sister Silverheart) is actually the baby of the age group and Dust is the oldest.

And Cloudshade (they/them) is their oldest sibling.

Firestorm (aforementioned medicine cat) is Hawktail's (molly, she/they) mentor, and Skunkbright (molly, they/she) is IceClan's leader. Shiningfur (amab, she/they) is MoonClan's medicine cat. However, because I think the "med cats can't have a mate/kits" rule is Stupid, they are just *strongly discouraged*; it's not ~against the rules~

Honeybeekit (he/they/it) and Spiritkit (he/they) are Goldfire's kits from her first litter (though Dreamchaser is not their father... oh the intrigue!). Both of them died as kits. Aaaand there's Goldenstream and Wrenkit (hoo boy that art is old and the colors are 😬)

The last time I was this stressed out about a show was Breaking Bad.

Which is understandable because u too feel like ur cooking meth all over the place trying not to get busted.

So I had to finish tht show ASAP because it was too stressful not to.

This headline is worthy to be pondered over by every other show creators hohoho. Its csuse more n more u hear actors n actresses complaining about how their sex scenes n nudity never really did anything to elevate the storytelling, so this is the answer to that. The simple fact that yes, you can actually create a hit show without all that n still be winning more. Literally yall, dude won an emmy for his performance

Personally,The Bear gets it too easy for me simply because the premise is food n cooking anyhow so even if the whole thing goes to sht, id still go OH YYYEAH LOOK AT THE WAY THE MEAT IS SIZZLING OH YEAHH SO BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍😍😍

Im a sucker for cooking n all. Im the worst. Fact is, the big reason why I got into BOTW was mostly because of the cooking mechanics in the game. Fcking brilliant how they have hundreds of all these ingredients all over the world, n u can pop em in the stove, fry em, boil em, grill em, WHO KNOWS WHATS GONNA BE COOKIN? Next thing I knew I was 90 hours in n the main highlight is the number of dishes I done discovered.

😀😀😀 ill even go on to say im a much happier person n overall in my best mood when im surrounding myself with cooking videos. Its such a craft, yoo. Its the best kind! I say cooking videos n not the actual cooking cause im fussy as heck when in the act. Yikes u dont wanna be anywhere near me when the actual cooking is happening. Seriously dont even be breathin the same air in the kitchen.

Nway but yeah whatevers depicted about how extremely stressful n debilitating it is for everyone involved in the industry is heckin sad but understandable. Ive had more than a few friends who studied culinary n quit after getting their degrees because they know how soul sucking the profession can be n theyd rather chill out n have a life. Aight.

Another similarity I see w Breaking Bad is how nobody in the show is hella good looking or movie star like. Everybody looked like everybody basically which doesnt take away from the narrative, but adds more into it sbb more believable.

I just realized that at the end of the game Asgore says Kris doesn't like certain types of hugs... and yet during the tutorial you can make Kris hug Ralsei and the dummy.

I mean sure, Kris likes Ralsei at least, but I got really uncomfortable when I remembered they're at least somewhat adverse to hugs. Like, Kris has their own personality... so how much of what we tell them to do during the game hurts them more than helps?

It matters because my blog is my spot to talk about my self insert and Genie as a couple and not canon couples. They are both good characters who are very likeable and fun! I just don't feel comfortable shipping them on my coping blog for my own self ships.

I can't help but feel that Cindy would be a little adverse to Valentine's Day. Naturally if in a relationship it's less so. Still, considering the attention she might get single or not, it could be safe to say that she'd just take the 13th & 14th off to lessen the possible burn out of shrugging off advances or wondering wtf to do with any gifts she might get on the job. I don’t know why my Aliens vids attract the most “ThIS isN’T hoW IT haPPenED!!!” comments but, dang, do they tend to bring out the butthurts. :S I honestly was tempted today to just ask who peed in their Cheerios. 

I’m stressed, fam. I’ve got just a couple of days left before NaNo ends and 14k words to write to make it to the finish line. Normally I don’t sass back on negative comments but I swear today was NOT the day to leave me a butthurt comment... 

Edit: Ohhhhh, fam, let this be a lesson to you about walking away and not responding with your first, angry impression. ‘Cause I came back at them blasting with both barrels to discover that I was reading the original comment wrong. They were COMPLIMENTING me for not being how the Aliens movie had went. And I went all

at them. 

Well, I feel ~this tall~ right about now and I very, very sincerely apologized for my mistake. But I shouldn’t have made it in the first mistake. NOT responding angrily is always the better option and I let my petty, hurt feelings make the wrong choice. :(
