Mental health tip of the day: Recently I've been watching self-help channels alongside going to therapy and I'd like to share a trick I really like! Basically it's about cutting out negative self-talk, but with a twist.
I know it's not easy to suddenly cut out all that negative self-bullying and replace them with positive affirming words because it may feel like lies, so the trick I'm talking about is to say "what if?". Example: "What if I'm a good person?", "What if I'm loved?", "What if people like me?". That way, you can see that there's a positive possibility that you will indeed be okay in the end instead of the negative potential all the time. You can keep doing it until you feel confident enough to start using concrete statements. Good luck! Love you!
